- X-Men: Robert Angier and Sookie Stackhouse find themselves embroiled in a fight between the a group led by Capt. Picard (that includes Xenia Onatopp, Jacinda "Jinx" Barett, and Richard White) and another group led by Gandalf that includes his second-in-command Alexis Meade, Michael Myers, and Snake Eyes. The film was written by Solid Snake.
- X2: X-Men United: Richard Morgan has kidnapped Picard to try to destroy all mutants so Picard and Gandalf must team up to stop him. Richard has Fenton Floop and a ruthless North Korean sniper under his control. Methos is one of his soldiers.
- X-Men: The Last Stand: The mayor of Gotham City thinks he's discovered a cure for mutation, which offends Gandalf to no end. Bullet-Tooth Tony joined Gandalf, while Juno, Frasier Crane, and the mayor's son Spacker Dave join the good guys. Xenia has also lost her mind and decided to join Gandalf.
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine: The backstory of Robert Angier is revealed, with appearances by Dorian Gray, Merry Brandybuck, John Carter, and Hannibal King.
- X-Men: First Class: It's The '60s and Mr Tumnus is a young Professor Picard and Betty Draper is a psychic ice queen with a penchant for really, really revealing outfits. King Logan is a young Gandalf, Katniss Everdeen is a young Alexis, and Marcus is a young Frasier. And isn't that Alison DeLaurentis at the aquarium? Logan has a rough history with the Nazi official Balto.
- X-Men: Days of Future Past: Gandalf and Captain Picard send Robert through time to help a drug-addicted Mr. Tumnus and Logan stop Katniss from killing Tyrion Lannister.
- Deadpool (2016): Green Lantern (2011)'s girlfriend Inara is kidnapped!
- X-Men: Apocalypse: In The '80s "the boy" is a younger version of Fenton, Wade Watts is a younger version of Richard, and Sansa Stark is a younger version of Xenia, who have to find Tumnus before the all-powerful Poe Dameron can take over the world.
- Logan: Robert and Picard must help Lyra Belacqua avoid Steve Murphy, an alternate Ninth Doctor, and P.T. Barnum. Along the way, they take shelter with Darryl Jenks and Yvonne Hughley.
- Deadpool 2: Thanos and Sophie Dumond join GL for an adventure. Bullet-Tooth Tony is back as Detective Pikachu to assist Ricky Baker. Roller Husser is a mutant inmate. Terry Jeffords, Rob, Aldo Raine, Zhou Cheng, and Pennywise are X-Force. Will Hayes eats a bullet in a post-credits scene.
- Xanadu (1980): Xanadu is a story about a frustrated artist named Swan who paints album covers for a living and is unhappy about it. By tossing some of his drawings into the wind, he somehow brings a painting on a wall of nine young women to life and one of them — Sandy Olsson — finds and kisses him. Shortly after, he meets D'Artagnan , a former big band leader. The two strike up a friendship and, with encouragement from Sandy, make plans to convert an abandoned building (The Pan Pacific Auditorium) into a roller disco. Swan and Sandy, meanwhile, fall in love, with there being the slight complication that Sandy is actually "Terpsichore" (turp-suh-KOR-ay), the Greek Muse of dance and choral singing, and was only sent to bring Xanadu into creation. Soon, she will have to return home, just as Xanadu will be opening.
- xXx: Dom Toretto is recruited by Mace Windu to fight Haldir of Lorien, and he hooks up with Lady Jocelyn along the way.
- Marvel Cinematic Universe version: Groot gets recruited by Nick Fury as a secret agent.
- XXX State Of The Union: The NSA headquarters is attacked by a mysterious team of special operatives. Agent Mace Windu recruits another "xXx" agent to get to the bottom of the conspiracy—disgraced former U.S. Navy officer Nick Persons. It soon becomes clear that Secretary of Defense Green Goblin is planning to overthrow the U.S. government to stop the dismantlement of military bases which he feels will put the country in danger.
- XXX Return Of Xander Cage: The plot revolves around a group of rogue xXx agents led by "alpha warrior" Ip Man trying to find a powerful weapon known as "Pandora's Box" that would control the entire world's military satellites, and the thought-to-be-long-dead original xXx, Dom Toretto, who is brought out of self-imposed exile by the CIA in order to stop him by recruiting a group of like-minded, thrill-seeking cohorts to fight with him. Also starring Ting, Ares, Yin Chen, Elena Gilbert, Rubai and Joni Thrombey.
- Year One: After getting kicked out of their tribe, Scott Pilgrim and Eddie Riggs walk the Earth. They meet Bible characters, including Scott Lang, Bianca Montgomery, Moe, and Chris D'Amico. Quorra becomes Eddie's Love Interest. Directed by Egon Spengler, who makes a cameo.
- Yentl: Fanny Brice disguises herself as a boy to get a Jewish education, having secretly studied the Talmud with her father, Papa Mousekewitz, and finds herself in a wierd love triangle with Inigo Montoya and Sue Snell.
- Yes-Man: Ace Ventura decides to follow the advice of self-help guru General Zod and finds a love interest in Jessica Day.
- Yesterday: Ahmad wakes up in a world where The Beatles never existed and appropriates their songs. His childhood friend is Cinderella and his ruthless manager is Jillian Holtzmann. Sadly, Paloma was cut from the film.
- The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity: Ye Hua and Xu Feng team up to defeat Huang Tuo.
- Yoga Hosers: The real-life daughters of Captain Jack and Silent Bob (Lily-Rose and Harley Quinn, respectively — yes those are their real names) meet with horror in Canada. Batman makes a cameo.
- Yojimbo: Kikuchiyo pits two gangs against one another while Kambei urges him not to. Shichiroji is allied with one of the gangs.
- You Again: Laurie Strode and Ellen Ripley are reunited high school rivals when the former's son marries the latter's niece. With Veronica Mars as Laurie's daughter, Casey Beldon as Ripley's niece who made Veronica's life a misery in high school, Jack Bristow as Laurie's husband, and Rose Nylund as Veronica's grandmother. Also starring Olive Snook, The Scorpion King, and Phyllis Lindstrom.
- You Lucky Dog: Mike Seaver is a therapist who can understand dogs and becomes the proxy of a dog whose owner dies and leaves his inheritance to the dog. Phillip Banks becomes Mike's butler. Q is one of three greedy relatives who conspire to steal the fortune.
- You Should Have Left: Sebastian Shaw and Karen Smith with their daughter rented a house that had Sebastian’s Dark and Troubled Past.
- You Were Never Really Here: The Joker (who was Bruce Wayne as a child) is a traumatized mercenary who lives with his mother, Mary Shaw. He is hired to rescue the daughter of a politician from the Governor, who is the sensei of a Thug Dojo.
- You've Got Mail: Sheriff Woody and Dr. Blight star in a Technology Marches On update of The Shop Around the Corner.
- You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (with thanks to The Los Angeles Times): In the latest film by Zee the ant, Madam Pomfrey starts seeing a psychic after her husband Zorro I leaves her and marries Eve Draper. Their daughter Ann Darrow is drawn to her boss Zorro II while her husband George W. Bush pines for Latika.
- Young Adam: The White Witch (not a euphemism) cheats on King Durin III with a A smackhead.
- Young Adult: Future Loser woman-child Eileen Wournos tries to pull a My Best Friend's Wedding on her high-school boyfriend Nite Owl, who has just announced the birth of his child via his (probably) happily married wife. Chef Remy is Eileen's "friend" who was her polar opposite in high school.
- Young Frankenstein: Willy Wonka says good-bye to his fiancee Mrs. White and travels to Transylvania to inherit his grandfather's estate. There he meets his assistants: the hunchbacked Brother Ambrose and the beautiful and voluptuous Ronnie Neary (with whom he later has an affair), as well as the old housekeeper Beverly Ann Stickle, whose name scares horses. Upon discovering his grandfather's old notes, Wonka decides to re-create his grandfather's infamous experiment and accidentally creates the abnormal Frank Barone, who escapes and terrorizes the town (meeting Royal Tenenbaum in the process). Wonka must find a way to fix everything before the townspeople, led by Grandpa Longneck, rise up against him. The Caterpillar and Boss Cass also appear in it and Yogurt is the director.
- Young Guns: The Coach from The Mighty Ducks, Jack Bauer, Ritchie Valens, and Charlie Harper fight Curly Washburn and his gang after the murder of their mentor General Zod.
- Young Guns II: The Coach has a new gang. In addition to Jack Bauer and Ritchie Valens Slater and Richard Chance have now joined the gang. After they go on the run from the law, Derek Flint pays Chance to kill the Coach.
- Your Highness: A disgraced baseball player goes on an epic quest to save his brother, a distressed hiker, with help from a psychotic ballerina and a comely hitchhiker.
- Yves Saint Laurent: OSS 1001 and Alzagar are lovers and partners in the fashion business.
- Z for Zachariah: A trophy wife's life is turned upside down when a hot-blooded captain and kidnapped musician show up on her farm. Oh, and there's the whole post-nuclear war thing everyone's dealing with too.
- Zack and Miri Make a Porno: Betty Brant and B.O.B.... well, you know.
- And they get the idea from the I'm A Mac guy and Superman.
- Zathura: The Spiritual Successor of Jumanji has Austin and Peeta Mellark play a game. Bella Swan is their sister, Crosby Braverman is an astronaut (who turns out to be Peeta from an alternate reality) and Andy Dufresne is their father.
- Zero Dark Thirty: A loving wife and mother hunts Usama Bin Laden with the help of her coworker Link and her boss Tony Soprano. Also starring Starlord and Lord Blackwood.
- Zodiac: Mysterio, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner are on the hunt for a serial killer.
- Zombieland: Mark Zuckerberg, Haymitch Abernathy, Gwen Stacy and Olive Hoover go through a cross-country road trip in the middle of a zombie apocalypse while having the time of their lives, all with different motives from going to an amusement park to finding the last Twinkie on Earth. Peter Venkman makes a cameo and he's not a zombie.
- Lex Luthor, Cruella DeVil, Tobias Beckett and Kit Kittredge band together to survive amidst a Zombie Apocalypse.
- Zombieland: Double Tap: Mark, Haymitch, Gwen and Olive are in the American heartland to face a new breed of zombies (ranging from easy to hard to kill) and more human surivors such as Olive's new boyfriend King Tut, Samantha Kingston, and a family that comprises of Harold Hutchins, Batgirl and Emmett. Peter returns in the mid-credits scene.
