Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Perhaps a Motivations for War sub-house? These could include:

Bazz has given me his blessing to remove Prime from Military Technology as Martial Pacifist doesn't reflect military technology, nor does Transforming Mecha. Where would Martial Pacifist fit?

Someone suggests Values and Ethics for Prime's second trope. Thoughts?

[up], [up][up] Ferot has a proposed sub-house idea for the House of War: Logistics. Dunno if that's legible or not.

Both Ferot's and Wiki's idea sounds ok. I can handle the two houses and maybe do some changes like moving Maxson to Military Ranks (Field Promotion feels more at home there)

Update on Purnell. Anyone who ever suffered a psychosis or imagined monsters?

Doctor Purnell, God of Demanding Important Inventory Items (The Doctor)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maskdoc.png
The Doctor
Doctor Purnell unmasked
  • Potential House: Gameplay
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Gas Mask and a Ruger P345
  • Theme Song: Doctor Battle
  • Alignment: Seems like a Chaotic Evil person but is actually Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: The most constant antagonist Simon faces, Gasmask Longcoat, Mad Doctor, Good All Along, Was the one that suggested Simon to write a book about his issues, Duel Boss
  • Domains: Psychology, Doctors, Weapons, Mentalism
  • Allies: Simon Henriksson (His patient), Frasier Crane, Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Malcolm Crowe, Dollface (Black), The Doki Doki Literature Club, Adrian Monk,
  • Enemies: Book Simon, Dr. Angus Bumby, Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow,
  • Conflicting Opinion: Harley Quinn
  • Doctor Purnell is a psychiatrist that was hired to keep track of Simon Henriksson after he suffered an horrible accident that left him wheelchair-bound. His relationship with Simon was already rocky and given his deteriorating mental state and depression slowly eating him away, Purnell suggested Simon write a book to express all of his emotions and thoughts and get them out of his head. This action is what lead to the events Simon found himself in a rather twisted version of Stockholm. Visions that represented Simon's damaged psyche and his noticeable distrust on his doctor...
  • This aforementioned "adventure" lead to Purnell's ascension but not one he really expected. The thing is, Simon ended up encountering a far more sinister version of Purnell who donned a gas mask and kept getting himself involved in increasingly more deranged and evil actions, culminating in one event where he asked Simon to deliver him a specific gun. Wether he trusted the Doctor with the weapon or not would end up affecting the fate of both Simon and Purnell but thankfully Simon decided to trust this version of the doctor, who in response shot Simon in the shoulder (and would have done so anyway if he didn't bring him the gun anyway). After finding and killing this version of the doctor, Simon would discover that he was just suffering a psycosis that ended up causing the death of two policemen that knocked on his door. Purnell would be later be left in charge of Simon after he was confined within a mental hospital but was happy that at least he was making progress to better himself.
  • His methods has been criticized though not really for being unethical and having more to do with whatever spawned from Simon's book. Many think the supernatural world Simon had to traverse through is not a fictional one but a very real threat, and the constant apparitions from Book Simon have certainly not helped matters. The fact that the doctor is willing to actually enter the book and comfront the monstrosities created by Simon's psyche has actually gotten him in trouble with other psychiatrists.
  • When it comes to other that also work in the mental health department, he did make a few friends. Firstly there was Frasier Crane, who was one of the first to criticize Purnell but at the least he is glad there is another reasonable figure that can treat patients correctly, the Pantheon has a huge problem with psychiatrists and psychologists being a bit unstable themselves. Purnell was also surprised to find the father of Psychology, Sigmund Freud, be a deity on his own as well as Carl Jung, Purnell never expected such important figures to find themselves in such a strange place. Though perhaps the one who could understand his position the most was Malcolm Crowe, another psychologist though in his case, the patient he was assigned to has a special gift and, well, Malcolm was dead all along so at the least both doctors have had experiences with the supernatural.
  • Seeing Simon improve considerably after having made several friends in the same place as he was, he tried to meet most of them and figure out their problems, though for obvious reasons, he won't recommend writing a book to them. The Literature Club Simon is friends with was first, with the members having a rather unfortunate history dealing with mental health and potentially taking their own lives, especially Sayori and Yuri who suffer from depression and self-harm similar to what Simon experienced. Then there was Dollface whose life is arguably as bad but at least she had enough resolve to go forward, even if according to Purnell it's not exactly great to take your rage against others violently.
  • Some have wondered what would happen should Dr. Purnell visit Silent Hill as the village notoriously draws people with rather tumultous pasts such as James Sunderland and the creatures that come from that place are equally disturbing as the one found in Simon's Book. He is considering trying to enter just to end the evil that powers it but Purnell so far has been cautious on doing so.

I'm back. Any suggestions for Hinawa?

No-thumbs Mode

Hinawa, Patron Saint of Sunflowers (Amber)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/761231_hinawa_7.jpg
Hinawa
  • Potential House: Trees and Flowers
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: A single sunflower. Alternatively, a picture of her with her sons and husband.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Good Parents, Killed Off for Real, Missing Mom to Lucas, Those too Pure for the World
  • Domains: Flowers, Death
  • Friendly towards: Lucas, Toriel, Frisk, Seita and Setsuko
  • Unfriendly towards: Galeem, Dharkon
  • Odd Friendship with: Mufasa, Simba
  • Pities: Porky Minch, Flowey, Asgore, those with deceased mothers
  • A kind soul, Hinawa was once a human woman who lived with her family in the Nowhere Island. She however, perished after facing a mechanical Tyrannosaurus rex known as a "Mecha Drago", which bit her in the heart. Even so, she appears as a spirit, once to help Lucas escape and once to save Claus from Porky's manipulation.
    • One day, a vast field of sunflowers appears in the House of Plants. Lucas, who was wandering there for some sunflowers, is attracted to it until he encounters his mother as a spirit. He then hugs her, crying. After much begging, the Main Gods decides to make her a Goddess of Sunflowers.
  • Appears in the Pantheon as a spirit, mainly towards Lucas and most non-hostile child deities. Due to this, she develops a friendship with Mufasa, who also appears in ghost form, despite one being a lion and the other being a human. Incidentally, this also earns her a friendship with Simba.
  • Gets along with Toriel due to being a fellow loving mother. She has allowed Lucas to mingle with the monster frequently.
  • (Frisk)
  • Surprisingly, she gets along with Flowey, despite his apparent hostility towards her and to the chagrin of most. In truth, Flowey is actually not only friendly towards her, he behaves and reminds her very much of Lucas, her own son during his days as a monster. Hinawa sympathizes with him mainly because of his predicament.
  • It's hard for her to make enemies, thanks to her friendliness. Some of the few deities she dislikes are Galeem and Dharkon. Mainly Galeem, as during a past adventure, he captured her spirit and forces her into his army of Puppet Fighters.
  • Even she felt sorry for Porky Minch to an extent, mainly because of his childhood and backstory.
  • She obviously displays sympathy for those with deceased mothers (or just parents in general). Most notably, she often appears before Seita and Setsuko, usually comforting the siblings.

Hey, is Ridley's character profile based off of his manga depiction? Because I don't remember his main game counterpart counting as a Complete Monster. Or talking, for that matter.

Well that was strange, the images were broken and i removed a profile (Hideyasu Jonouchi) and seemingly Shaund and Pierce are back to normal.

Maybe it was some old formatting that needed fixing. Anyway, i really don't care about Jonouchi but he will stay removed until someone either fixes him or Redemption Promotion goes to someone else

I'll drop this, but in addition to Acts of War, I also think Children and Values and Ethics are also in need of getting the treatment of having some of its profiles either moved to existing Sub-Houses or to new Sub-Houses. The latter two have 25 and 24 profiles respectively and I believe about 2-3 additional profiles will trigger a "Too Long" warning. Also, I guess best to act quick before it happens, I think.

Any ideas on what can be done?

[up] Probably split it up into Children and Childhood and Adolescence.

On a different note, here's an updated draft for Waspinator's profile. Thinking this is perfect for ascension but if there's anything else to add let me know.

  • Waspinator; member of a Predacon rebel cell lead by the rogue Megatron, aerial combat and recon specialist... and the universe's designated bitch. All throughout the Beast Wars, whenever something bad occurred, it usually happened to Waspinator. He has been blasted, crushed, torn apart, pulverized, possessed, shredded, smashed, bashed, noogied, canned in the nuts and bolts, and broken down to his most basic components by either the Maximals, his own comrades, the natural environment of prehistoric Earth, or on one occasion, a young hominid. Eventually, he grew sick of being blown to scrap and decided to quit the Predacons altogether.note  But Waspinator did get a happy ending; worshipped by the Protohumans as the Maximals returned to Cybertron... but some things never last forever. Waspinator was driven out by the Protohumans and through unknown means, made it back to his home planet, only to have his spark extracted by Megatron and placed into a lifeless Vehicon body. With his new motorcycle alternate mode and command over the mindless cycle-drones, Waspinator - known as Thrust - served as a loyal general and proved to be a dangerous adversary for the Maximal resistance. He was perfectly happy with his change, however, when Optimus Primal sacrificed his life to reformat Cybertron into a technorganic world, Waspinator was reduced to a tiny wasp body with Thrust's head. At the end of the day, Waspinator never gets what Waspinator wants.
  • Not long after the Reformatting, Waspinator was wandering about the new Cybertron when an anomaly suddenly appeared before him, sucking the poor stooge inside it. He found himself in a strange realm, a cold, mechanical lair filled similar to Megatron's old lair. And sure enough, the Predacon rogue/Vehicon leader was there, looming over the robotic insect in his Transmetal 2 dragon form. Megs had summoned his former subordinate to make him an offer; He would restore Waspinator's Vehicon body, in exchange for his Undying Loyalty. Now, Waspinator considered it, but ultimately he was tired of working for the losing side. He refused, so Megatron destroyed his body, leaving behind his spark. The mad dragon was ready to consume his former lackey but was stopped by the White Hat Hackers, who managed to secure the spark before fleeing back to their HQ. With the technical skills of Bentley the Turtle, Waspinator was given a new body - one closely resembling the form he had during the Beast Wars. The other White Hats, Otacon in particular, even helped the wasp secure a temple and title in the Pantheon. Waspinator was most happy for the assistance and often helps the White Hats with whatever they need.
    • Many in the Pantheon have questioned why Waspinator was given the title of Wicked Wasps, despite being a Cybertronian robot with a wasp alternate mode. There are two possible reasons for it. The first reason, the High Gods figured it was a good enough title for him. The second, more accepted reason? He's the least threatening wasp around.
  • His temple in the Sub-House of Insects leads back to Prehistoric Earth, not far from the protohuman settlement that once worshipped him. He doesn't like to go back there, due to the "fleshy-bots" not wanting him around anymore. That said, his temple once malfunctioned, accidentally transported the Cybertronian into the world of the Shell and Rock tribes. A member of the Shell Tribe, a cavewoman named Loana, approached Waspinator and offered to help him find his home, despite the protests of her tribe members. Waspinator accepted, and even defended the tribe from a rampaging dinosaur - while getting chomped in the process. Once back in the Pantheon, Waspinator thanked Loana for her help and has made periodic return visits to her homeworld, where he's treated with respect for his actions.
  • Waspinator is not fond of his insectoid neighbours. Queen Sectonia attempted to rope the robotic wasp into her plans to take over Floralia. It initially worked... and then Kirby whooped his ass. After that, Waspinator rarely works with Sectonia, fearing what might happen if he's sent back to her world. Meanwhile, he opposes the Nazi super-villain Swarm, who wanted to experiment on the Predacon, as well as the humanoid cockroaches known as the Terraformars. They tore him to scrap metal when he first came across them while scouting Mars. He was saved by the beetle brothers, Herculious and Kuwagust Anchus, who offered to help Wasp with his combat skills to better defend himself.
    • Similar to Sectonia, Waspinator stays the hell away from Trakeena, who sees him as a poor excuse of a Stingwinger and promptly zapped him with her staff. Doesn't help that seeing a robotic insect reminded her of how she and Deviot merged into a monstrous insectoid form.
  • Unfortunately, there are quite a few people in the Pantheon who fear Waspinator due to his preference in beast modes, more than anything else about him. Cerulean City's gym leader, Misty, and the young world-traveller Annie Smith. The latter keeps as far away from Waspy as possible, her brother Jack used as a shield, but Misty will use her Gyarados' Flamethrower if the Predacon is too close. As it turned out, the sea serpent's fire-breath proved to be super-effective.
    • On the flipside, Poor Waspy is himself afraid of Toph Beifong, despite towering over the tiny, blind girl. The reason for it? When Waspinator first met her, Toph demonstrated her skills... by turning him into a compacted cube. One trip to the CR Chamber later and the Predacon keeps out of Toph's reach.
  • Despite his unfortunate luck and numerous mishaps, Waspinator has surprisingly good aim with his blaster, capable of taking his foes by surprise. It's gotten him into trouble with the Pantheon's other snipers. Amélie Lacroix, codenamed Widowmaker, thinks very little of the Predacon in his default state, preferring to work with him as he's the more competent Thrust. Mr. Mundy meanwhile, views Waspy as mere target practice. When he does make a good shot the two will compliment him briefly, but usually, that doesn't long.
  • Waspinator has found himself being sniped at by Katniss Everdeen, her arrows usually hitting their mark more often than not. At first, the Predacon was confused as to why the "fleshy-bot" acted so aggressively towards him. But her reasons became clear enough. Katniss distrusts Waspinator not only for his alternate mode resembling the Tracker Jacker wasps of her world but for serving Megatron, who is just as much of a totalitarian tyrant as President Snow was. Waspinator tries to keep out of reach, taking potshots at her whenever he can, but as soon as The Girl On Fire spots him, it's game over.
  • Like many Transformers, Waspinator has had several incarnations spanning the multiverse, with different appearances and backstories to accompany them. Perhaps the most infamous examples hails from the Animated timeline, where he started off as an Autobot cadet known as Wasp, only to be wrongfully incarcerated thanks to fellow cadet member, Bumblebee. After attempting to get revenge on Bee, Wasp fell in with Blackarachnia, who mutated him into a technorganic monstrosity, more powerful and violent than his original self. Sometimes, Waspinator will take on this form to get even with the yellow Autobot, and when he does, everyone takes cover. Even Widowmaker, Mr. Mundy and Katniss are wary when confronting Waspinator in this form. Optimus Prime and his Autobots have trouble wrangling the feral beast.
    • His alternate selves take on even more varied forms. In one timeline, Waspinator was affected by the quantum surge and was turned into a Transmetal, complete with an additional jet mode. In others, he was transformed into the hybrid "Thrustinator", either by Virulina's magic or through exposure to the Vehicon Apocalypse.
  • Waspinator hasn't forgotten about the time his body was possessed by the indestructible spark of Starscream, and has found himself being taken over by the Decepticon seeker whenever his body is destroyed. When this happens, Starscream takes full control, but as much as the two personalities argue with each other, Waspinator secretly enjoys the perks and benefits that the Screamer brings to aerial combat. Still needs to work on the treachery game though.
  • The Allied Mastercomupter was quick to take notice of Waspinator's Nigh-Invulnerability, thanks to Decepticon scientist Shockwave bringing it up, and decided to make the robotic insect his latest "subject", taking great delight in torturing and distorting the poor bug. Waspinator managed to escape AM's lair after a few experiments but dares not return. It was during this experience he met AM's original five subjects and took pity on them, knowing full well that humans are made of less stern stuff than Cybertronians.
  • Being the luckless buffoon that he is, Waspinator became friends with the Pantheon's other "losers", mostly through their shared blunders and troubles. Kenny McCormick was the first person besides the White Hats to approach the giant insect, sympathizing with his cosmically bad luck and offered to show Waspinator around the Pantheon, alongside the equally unlucky Charlie Brown, who also befriended the insect. From there, he found himself tagging along with the Three Stooges who, despite their initial fear of the giant bug, accepted him and tried to help get him used to the Pantheon... which was easier said than done given their misfortune.
    • Speaking of misfortune, Waspinator couldn't help but pity Wile E. Coyote and his eternal struggle to catch the Road Runner. That's right, even Waspinator feels Wile E. is wasting his time and should focus on better things... Like hunting that rabbit, for example.
  • The High Gods took the time to gather further information on Waspinator for others to view and enjoy. It only served to rub salt on Waspinator's ever-present wounds.
  • Inferno blow up, Waszzpinator must salvage. Waszzpinator blow up, nobody salvage! Why universe hate Waszzpinator?

[up] I honestly don't think we have enough characters that represent tropes pertaining to Teenagers (at the moment). But given that many of the taken tropes in Children represent characteristics, behaviour and demeanor, my best bet here would be to divide it into Child Archetypes and Child Behavior.

P.S. - I have a potential House idea with Children and Adolescents as the demographic and I think Children and Adolescents is a fitting name. But, as aforementioned, I'll wait before enough Teenage Tropes are taken to warrant the change.

@Waspinator I don't know if you're still accepting suggestions, but could you change the labelnotes in the captions to something like the other Transformers profiles, like [[caption-width-right:Beast Machines Thrust ]]. This can make it easier to know what you're looking for. You can take a look at other Transformers profiles like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee for more details.

[up][up]Tenpenny and Eddie Pulasky are a pair of corrupt cops who abuse their power and authority to suit their needs.

BTW here's a rework proposal and reposting suggestions:

  • Manfred the Mammoth

    • Reasoning: Old profile, outdated and in need of more detailed flavor texts and interactions.

    • Why does he fit the trope: Manny starts out as a cynical loner who wants to get away from all contact and possible friends following the death of his wife and child at the hands of humans, however as the film progresses and thanks to the influence of Sid and Roshan, the human baby who he is forced to return to his family by Sid, Manny begins to grow more optimistic, letting go of his anger and even finding it in himself to befriend Diego, a saber toothed tiger who initially plotted to get him and the others killed, once he himself takes his own level in idealism and redeems himself by warning Manny and co., in the second film he continues his development as he learns to let go of his pain in the past and forges a new family in the following films, eventually learning to not be so negative about the world and becoming more and more carefree.

  • Simon, God of Rejecting Reality
    • Reasoning: Simon's rejection of reality is his defining trait throughout the series' third season/"book". He is an 18 year old who ruled over a group of passengers of the titular train, believing that numbers that he had on his arms should be increased thanks to lies (out of ignorance) from his friend, Grace, who was unaware that numbers should go down instead as the numbers represent their issues rather than a goal. As the third season progresses and Grace herself begins to mature and outgrow her perceptions of reality, Simon does not and eventually becomes insane and evil due to refuting reality entirely even with hard evidence.

  • David Banner, God of Taking Too Much Power to Handle
    • David spends the entire film trying to obtain the gamma energy/genes from his son, Bruce (As Hulk), so as to improve his decaying body, which will kill him, for that purpose he antagonizes Bruce severely through the film. In the final battle after becoming the nigh-indestructible Absorbing Man, he finally gets his desired power after Hulk realizes that the only way to defeat him is by overwhelming him with power since he's otherwise invulnerable, so he to lets him take all of his limitless, which ends up overwhelming David as he's unable to absorb it all even realizing it too late, his form is then destabilized into a bubble cloud that is finished off by a missile.

[up][up][up] Well, when it comes to Dirty Cops, you can't get any worse than Brian Irons. There's also Scott Shelby who initially poses as a private eye looking to solve the Origami Killer case and save Shaun Mars, but in actually is the killer and the one who kidnapped Shaun. The fact that he dressed up as a police officer when doing the latter doesn't help either.

Tony Stark is someone who invests a lot of his money into developing Iron Man suits and other mechs in fighting against crime and supervillain threats.

[up][tup] for your choices.

@ Rmpdc & Crimson: Upon remerging from the Lucky 38 Robert Edwin House reformed the squabbling tribes living around in what remained of Vegas into The Three Families. One of them became The Omertas, who are themed after the mafia organizations of the pre-War times upon hearing of the stories told by House. In fact, House keeps them around for the nostalgia and a Vegas without that shady element isn't really Vegas at all.

Feel like both Vito, Joe, and the DiMeo family would watch out for 50 Blessings since it was their politically motivated goals that ended up toppling The Mafiya within Miami.

S.A.T.8 and the Carcano Sisters all hail from Italy, befitting the weapons that were imprinted on them. Being from a PMC they would oppose the DiMeo family.

@ Faso: There's Isaac as his entire adventure came about him suffocating in a chest he locked himself in out of self-loathing for his family falling apart.

@ Shonen: Manny Pardo, while on the surface is an incompetent officer with Cowboy Cop/Rabid Cop tendencies, is actually the identity behind the Miami Mutilator who grew increasingly disgruntled by the media not paying attention to his killings compared to stories such as the resurgence of the Russian Mafia and its battles with the Cartel from The Son and the apparent existence of other masked killers from The Fans. Bluebeard is a frequent wife killer.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.
