Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Eh, i could find another trope for the cat bois. [tdown] to the Malamar idea BTW.

While i'm posting, which house would Wilson go into?

Wilson Percival Higgsbury, God of Gentlmanly Scholars

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wilson_61.png
  • Demigod, though capable of slaying Lesser Gods with enough prep time
  • Symbol: His rather noticeable hair
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portifolio: Intelligent Gentlemen, Bookworms That Can Kill Monsters, For Science!, Prone To Buffy Speak, Rather Normal Gameplay-Wise, A Genius With Moments Of Stupidity, Cracks Puns Constantly, Anime Hair, Can Grow A Beard
  • Domains: Science, Survival, Manners, Beards
  • Allies: Steve and Alex, Pi and Richard Parker, The Sole Survivor, Josuke Higashikata
  • Enemies: The Beast
  • Pities: Winslow and Wake, Faust, Jeanne
  • Unsure of: The Mann Co. Mercs
  • Opposes: Spiders (Such as Ungoliant and Lolth)
  • Wilson P. Higgsbury was a scientist who was starved of ideas. Anything that he made would just fail and blow up in his face. One day, however, he heard a strange voice coming from his radio, telling him that it could grant him "Ultimate Knowledge", which a desperate Wilson was quick to agree with. The immediate building frenzy that came with the knowledge resulted in a dimensional mirror that promptly sucked Wilson in, transporting him to a Death World where resources were scarce and finite, hostile and strange creatures roamed, and the night itself would kill him if he stayed in it for too long. Against all odds, Wilson manages to survive in these deadly conditions, and even managed to rally up some other survivors to work together (Albeit after an incident involving the dreaded Nightmare Throne) to make survival easier. Wilson and his friends goals were simple: DON'T STARVE.
  • Or, at least, that's what it was. After an incident involving some teleporting guy, he had found himself in the Pantheon, confused but otherwise ecstatic to be out of The Constant. Looking around for some answers, he eventually came across the Court Of The Gods, who he figured looked important, and explained his plight to them. After some quick research on where he came from, they ascended him as a god proper. A few years later, Wilson had come across his profile, and noticed that it was rather lacking in terms of length. As such, he requested that it would be reworked with more info obtained since his ascension, which the gods agreed to.
  • Even out of The Constant, Wilson isn't safe from darkness. Apparently, Wilson has obtained some sort of "Curse", where every location he goes to would emulate the Day/Night cycle of The Constant. To put it simply, during the Day he's free to roam around and gather supplies and make friends, while when it's Night, the darkness suddenly becomes deadly because of the sudden presence of The Night Monster, Charlie, who'll shave off massive bits of Wilson's health if he gets hit by her. Not to mention, enough loss of his sanity and he'll be attacked by numerous shadow creatures. Oh, and he'll randomly get attacked by wolves, because THEY are dicks. For those reasons, Wilson spends most of his day gathering supplies and weapons for the night, getting himself prepared for the deadly darkness. Oh, and this thankfully only affects Wilson and no one else, as they can't even see what Wilson sees thanks to the curse.
  • It wasn't long until he decided to seek out other survivors within the Pantheon, mostly to seek help for his newfound curse. One of the first of these was Steve and Alex, both of whom he found casually punching a tree apart with their fists. Being impressed by this, he quickly started a conversation with the two, and found out that their world, while still far from an ideal vacation spot, was much more preferable to The Constant. Wilson was also jealous of the duo's ability of creating whole houses from simple blocks, while he and the others could only manage a bunch of walls at best. Still didn't prevent them from getting along, however.
    • Wilson also has nothing short of respect for shipwreck survivor Pi, in no small part due to the fact he managed to survive being marooned at sea with basically nothing but some wreckage, a life boat, and a tiger, even admitting that he couldn't see himself surviving with those odds, even if he's had experience with being shipwrecked before. Pi was similarly impressed by Wilson managing to survive a Death World where night literally killed you, something that Pi probably would not've survive due to a lack of light. The two can be seen conversing about their experiences.
    • On the less optimistic side of the spectrum, Wilson can't help but pity Lighthouse watchers Winslow and Wake, both of whom weren't as lucky as Pi was, having succumbed to insanity and had possibly died in the process. As Wilson is regularly fighting to keep himself sane, he admits that he could relate to the two. Sure, they were both terrible people, but there's no harm in feeling bad about them, right? That said, he's also curious about the Lighthouse itself, as he notes that by his experience, the "hallucinations" from said locations were a wee bit specific to be simple mental trauma. Then again, his own shadowy hallucinations also attacked him, so he admits that he's really not one to talk.
  • One of the more important survival tips while in The Constant is to make sure that you have a good base, as it could prepare you for things such as wolf attacks, giant ambushes, and the like, not to mention a nifty place to safely store loot. This is a habit that Wilson has carried over into The Pantheon, where he's often seen collecting materials to expand upon his temple, which is one such base. Someone he found massively helpful in this regard is The Sole Survivor, a fellow survivor that also specializes in building forts and bases, often filling them with more lethal traps. The two can be seen conversing on what would make the best fort in case of a wolf attack.
  • As someone who's dealt with hostile shadowy beings, he figured from the start that The Beast, a being who needs to steal souls in order to survive, was bad news. Hell, he even considers the being to be worse Tham Charlie, as at least she clearly didn't have much choice in the matter of becoming The Night Monster, while The Beast relishes the horrible deeds he needs to do in order to survive. The Beast, figuring that the experienced Wilson would be a threat to his own survival, has started targeting him as of recently, though thankfully Wilson is usually prepared enough to ward off The Beast, at least temporarily.
  • At this point, you've probably noticed Wilson's odd hair. It's shown to be able to withstand such disasters as monster attacks and explosions without taking a scratch, and some gods noticed in X-rays that it actually has bones inside of it. He's also quite sensitive about people messing with his hair, even if nobody could really damage it in the first place. As such, he could relate to the similar problem Josuke Higashikata has, though he does consider him beating the crap outta the perpetrator a bit overreactive. Aside from that, he's able to make friends with Josuke, finding his healing abilities quite handy for recovering from Hound attacks.
    • Speaking of his hair, it seems that Mann Co. had taken interest in his universe, even designing a few of their products to resemble both Wilson's hair (The Wilson Weave) and The Ham Bat (The Ham Shank) and giving them out to their mercenaries to wear and battle with. Wilson's fine with it for the most part, as you can't really claim ownership to hair styles and slabs of ham, but otherwise he's a bit conflicted with the mercs themselves. On the one hand, he's glad that they're not killing innocents and quite a few of them can be pretty affable, but on the other hand, they're still a bunch of psychopaths who kill each other for fun, something that understandably unnerves the scientist. Although he swears that he once saw someone like the Pyro in The Constant once...
  • Absolutely hates spiders with a passion, mostly thanks to being attacked by them back in the Constant on a regular basis. Luckily for him, while the Pantheon has numerous spider deities, a good chunk of them are willing to ignore him as long as he leaves them alone, something that Wilson is happy to oblige to. The same can no be said, however, for Gods like Ungoliant and Lolth, both of whom are not only actively malevolent, but are also much more dangerous than the manageable pests Wilson is used to. He’s been preparing defenses ever since he’s found out about them, Properly Paranoid that they’ll come after him.
  • If one is wondering how Wilson ended up in The Constant, he made a Deal with the Devil in order to obtain “Ultimate scientific knowledge”, something that predictably backfired on him. He’s learned his lesson ever since then, but thanks to the experience, he easily pities those that suffered an unfortunate fate from such a deal. Of note are Faust, who’s whole life was completely ripped apart thank to a deal he made, and Jeanne, who was a witch that ended up burning on a stake for her troubles. As such, it isn’t uncommon to se him warn others about the dangers of such a deal.

Leaving behind my Takizawa and Saki profile draft + suggestions for the two and any thoughts on Henry and Otis for Evil Duo here.

Anyway, I have two rework suggestions, primarily because both of their profiles are rubbish ATM and there's a ton of catching up to do with them. Plus, I commission a trope change for one of them...

  • Kasumi - Cherry Blossoms
    • Cherry Blossoms happen to be a character/symbolic motif for Kasumi, in the sense that whenever she appears in a flash or disappears instantly, it's always followed by a petal of cherry blossoms falling at where she last was. They even make an appearance whenever Kasumi performs her ultimate attack as well. Furthering that, she also happens to be a Cherry Blossom Girl as she is one of the nicest and most compassionate characters in the series and there is a theme of love persistent in Kasumi's story arc (of the familial kind).
  • Bane - Genius Bruiser
    • Bane is a gigantic mass of muscle of a man and is physically one of the biggest when it comes to Batman's Rogues Gallery. But what makes him stand out is the fact that he is frighteningly intelligent for someone his size. In addition to just being ridiculously powerful and fast for someone his size, Bane is a skilled manipulator, orator and has educated himself on various topics and subjects, which he learned from books that he used to read in prison. In fact, he is considered a "genius among geniuses" at one point and was responsible for one of the most crushing and devastating defeats of The Dark Knight mainly because of his use of intellect, trickery, timing and manipulation.

Kasumi technically has the same trope as Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja, as Kunoichi is a disambiguation to the former), hence the trope change. I am, however, open to the idea of Ryu and Kasumi sharing a trope (both of them tend to showcase a lot of their skills and feats as ninjas and the plot of their games tend to revolve around their normal lifestyle and compromise their occupations as ninjas, not mention they're the central focus) if that's what more preferable to others, but I'll have to wait and see.

[down][down][down] Ayane could probably work, and Hayate can probably be thrown in as well. At the very least, not too many characters for a potential group profile, so maybe...

Their Teen Titans selvesnote
  • Intermediate God-level organization with Overdeity-level firepower.
  • Symbol: The Brain himself
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Brotherhood of Evil, Played Seriously Despite Some Silly Concepts, Legion of Doom, Card-Carrying Villain, Obviously Evil
  • Domains: Villains, Organizations
  • Heralds: Most Teen Titans Villains, especially Professor Chang
  • Allies: Shocker, HYDRA, Queen Beryl, The Death Busters, The Dead Moon Circus, Ragyo Kiryuin, The Martians (Mars Attacks!), Dr. Gero, Giovanni, Ghetsis Harmonia, Dr. Eggman, Dr. Wily, Bowser, Dimentio, Ganondorf, Xemnas, Dr. Nefarious, Yuuki Terumi, HIM, Mojo Jojo, Joker, The Incubators, Tabuu, Andross, Aku, Melkor, The Shredder, Queen Chrysalis, Moro, The GUAE
  • Friendly Rival: Lord Voldemort, The Beast (General Immortus)
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Princess Morbucks
  • Enemies: All Heroic DC Comics Deities, especially Garfield Logan and the ascended Teen Titans, Gorilla Grodd, Eobard Thawne, The GUAG, All Heroic Marvel Comics Deities, Most of the GUAD, especially Nekron and Death Phantom, The Phantom Thieves of Hearts, The Daleks, Adora and Catra
  • On speaking terms with: The House of Love (The Brain and Monsieur Mallah)
  • The Brotherhood of Evil was founded by the Brain after he had his body destroyed by an explosion arranged by Niles Caulder, though he was rescued by Monsieur Mallah. It is an organization with two purposes. Take Over the World and destroy Caulder and the Doom Patrol as well as anyone else that would dare oppose them.
  • Ascended to the Pantheon when the Brain, who happened to be one of Dr. Gero’s followers, decided that he was no longer content with his position and launched a carefully planned attack with Monsieur Mallah, other members of the Brotherhood of Evil and some Mecha-Mooks. It was eventually stopped, but they were all ascended under Brotherhood of Evil afterwards by Melkor, much to the displeasure of many...which also happened to be exactly what they were counting on.
  • As Madame Rouge’s main incarnation turned against the Brotherhood of Evil, it has been decided that the version of her from the Teen Titans universe would be included instead. The rest of the Brotherhood of Evil have been watching her carefully to make sure that she doesn’t get replaced by her comic incarnation. On the other hand, there are many villains from the Teen Titans universe that are serving as their heralds, though the one most commonly seen working with the Brotherhood of Evil on some of their plans is Professor Chang.
  • They absolutely d e t e s t those who would manipulate others into betraying their allies due to what Captain Zahl did to Madame Rouge. None have earned their scorn more than the Death Phantom, who immediately went to work trying to manipulate them into turning against each other and helping him kill everyone, his Mind Manipulation abilities allowing these attempts to sometimes temporarily succeed. It has gotten to the point where he and the rest of the Brotherhood are willing to pull an Enemy Mine with the Sailor Senshi against him, especially after learning of his goals.
  • Davros was amused to learn that the Brain's casing was somewhat designed off of that of the Daleks in one universe. The Daleks, while interested in potentially exploiting him for his intelligence, have made it clear that they want to kill him too...which isn't surprising, really. The Doctor has been keeping an eye on the Brain because of this.
  • Became allies with Shocker and HYDRA due to the three all being evil organizations with world conquest in mind. The Brain sees this as a great opportunity to destroy heroes to a greater extent than ever before, while the Great Leader and Red Skull don’t mind the company, if only because he is great at planning. As it started off as a regular crime syndicate before becoming a full-blown villainous organization, they are also associating themselves with Giovanni. The Brain finds Ghetsis’ plans of manipulating the Unova Region to ensure nobody could challenge his plans to conquer brilliant and believes him to be much more intelligent than the other villains from his world.
  • The Brain and Monsieur Mallah, surprisingly enough, have a relationship with each other and because of this they are sometimes seen in the House of Love. One day, they met one of Queen Beryl’s heralds, Jadeite, who announced to the two that she wished to meet them. They agreed to meet with her and Jadeite smirked, knowing that his queen would be pleased. The Brain and Monsieur Mallah, upon learning that Queen Beryl desires a relationship with Mamoru Chiba, have decided to help her.
  • The Brain has remained on good terms with Dr. Gero even after the ascension of the Brotherhood of Evil and is currently getting help from him on making potential countermeasures against Son Goku, who he sees a very great threat to his plans. He would’ve been allies with Frieza, but his Fantastic Racism lead him to attack Mallah, something that the Brain didn’t like at all.
  • The Brain eventually declared that the Brotherhood of Evil would be allying themselves with Melkor and the GUAE. Madame Rouge has become a headache for the other alliances to deal with as her ability to shapeshift into others and mimic their voices makes it hard to tell if its her or not. Unlike other shapeshifters like Queen Chrysalis, she is actually more than capable of pretending to be the person she transforms into. Given Chrysalis was already quite good at imitating Cadance...
  • Are utterly repulsed by Eobard Thawne as he proves to be an utterly shitty boss and leader and ultimately doesn’t give two shits about his minions, even going as far as to plant bombs on them. They have started speaking with Captain Cold about this and despite him disapproving of some of the Brotherhood’s plans, he is glad to have people outside of his Rogues to speak to about this issue.
  • The Brain and Monsieur Mallah are pretty pissed at Gorilla Grodd due to that one time he killed them. The Brain has been mobilizing his forces to capture him and possibly make hypnosis devices using Grodd’s powers as a potential template.
  • Despite Voldemort’s beliefs that he is the only one who should be immortal, he and General Immortus are on rather good terms though they aren’t allies. However, they do have connections to each other through the GUAE and Immortus likes making small talk with him. He’s also rather friendly with The Beast of The Unknown, but they ended up becoming rivals rather than allies.
  • Madame Rouge ended up becoming foes with Adora and Catra as the two girls had once encountered a shapeshifting spy called Double Trouble who tormented them on multiple occasions. However, Rouge is extremely skilled in defeating heroes and they know to go all out from the beginning whenever they fight against her. She is also greatly disliked by Monkey D. Luffy, who is rather unhappy that she uses her Rubber Woman powers for evil.
  • Monsieur Mallah dislikes Koba as he finds his acts of evil to be completely abominable by his standards and is opposed to his dislike of humans as that is exactly what the Brain was before his body was destroyed. Monsieur Mallah is greatly dislikes by Silica as her mother was killed by an ape-like beast, though he is nothing but friendly towards her.

[up][up][up] In Kasumi's case, I'm leaning towards her sharing a profile with Ryu Hayabusa. If possible, maybe Ayane can also be a part of a that potential group profile since her profile is also lacking and outdated, but that depends on what others think.

I am reposting this suggestion, but with a title now.

Bad Girl, Goddess of Sporting Themed Levels.

Born Charlotte Birkin, she was a child who was raised by her father Badman into mastering baseball as he was a former major league player. Then, her life changed for the worse after being raised into being a murdering assassin losing a good amount of humanity as she rose up the ranks of the association. Finally, she confronted Travis in her own personal home in a private section of a baseball arena when she kills time by literally killing cloned gimps for sheer fun. Plus she uses a baseball bat as her signature weapon in combat.

Numemon and Sukamon, "Divine" Practitioners of Dung Fu (Numemon: Mollusk Digimon; Sukamon: Scumon, Mutant Digimon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/numemon_collectors_card.jpg
Numemon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scumon_collectors_card.jpg
Sukamon (the mouse is Chuumon)
  • Lesser Deities
  • Symbol: A pink pile of cartoon poop
  • Alignment: True Neutral to Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Throwing faeces at opponents, Toilet Humor, REALLY strange creatures, have several variations, Gonk, mainly fight in groups, disliked by other Digimon, result of raising a Digimon poorly, can potentially evolve into some legitimately impressive things, Com Mons
  • Domains: Poop, Mons
  • Allies: Most heroic Digimon deities, to varying extents (Hikari Yagami is the most serious about it)
  • Enemies: Ramon, The Great Mighty Poo
  • Oppose: Amaterasu
  • There's a particular chapter in the story of the Pantheon that most deities prefer not to talk about, not because it was oh-so-traumatically dark, but because of the sheer grossness and crassness involved. It started with an anonymous deity in a public restroom getting scared out of their wits when an unused stall suddenly exploded, with several large green slugs flooding every corner of the bathroom. After this incident, every public toilet in the Pantheon became inhabited by these slugs, as well as the occasional yellow pile of sentient poop with a pink mouse riding on it, and they pelted anybody who tried entering with pink poop. They also made threats to invade toilets in private residences. At that point, several Digimon deities stepped up and admitted, with much embarrassment, that those were Numemon and Sukamon, creatures from their world, and they would do whatever they could to drive them out. Eventually after a long battle that became known as the Great War for the Toilets, they succeeded in restricting them to the sewers. Then the Main House, having observed all these proceedings, announced they had decided to make the two Digimon species into the holders of Dung Fu and thus are technically allowed the whole range of the Pantheon, much to most everyone's dismay.
  • A place as far removed from conventional reality as the Digital World is bound to have its share of weird creatures; Numemon and Sukamon would be ranked highly on a hypothetical weirdness scale. Numemon and Sukamon usually appear as a result of making multiple mistakes in raising a Digimon. As to be expected from such unfortunate monsters, they are really, really weak, both offensively and mentally, with most of their attacks involving the pathetic and disgusting strategy of throwing poop at their opponents. They are consequently not very popular with either Digimon or humans.
  • Numemon are very social Digimon and tend to live in large swarms, likely to make up for the fact that they're so weak on their own. Sukamon are more individualistic, though they will still live happily in the sewers alongside like-minded mons. Both have several different variants; subspecies of Numemon include ShellNumemon, BlackKingNumemon, GoldNumemon and PlatinumNumemon. Sukamon variants are PlatinumSukamon and KingSukamon. That last one is the "alpha" of the Numemon and Sukamon population in the Pantheon, but it never leaves its place deep in the sewers. Also, GoldNumemon, PlatinumNumemon and PlatinumSukamon enjoy some modicum of popularity due to being Metal Slimes; those who defeat them are awarded with a killing in money (the first one) and experience points (the last two). Just walking around with them and defeating other enemies has similar effects, so deities prefer doing that (if they can manage to convince them to do so, as Numemon and Sukamon in general are very capricious).
  • Despite fears that the Numemon and Sukamon might rise again and take over the toilets once more, they seem quite happy sticking to the sewers for now. Those public restrooms were rather too brightly lit for their tastes. They sometimes cross paths with other sewer-dwellers, such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, although the Turtles prefer to act like they don't exist and pass by them quickly. A big threat to them is Ramon, the Sewer Gator, who has taken to look at the Numemon as convenient nearby snacks (Sukamon, not so much). That doesn't mean the Numemon and Sukamon don't fight back against Ramon with all they have when he invades their territory, even though Ramon is relatively impervious to their normal attacks. On these occasions, the Ninja Turtles do deign to help the Digimon; the Turtles may not like them, but their sense of morality prevents them from letting relatively innocent mons from becoming gator chow.
  • Such is their obsession with poop that they were moved to tears upon seeing Poo Mountain, the lair of the Great Mighty Poo. The fact that Poo Mountain is not actually made of poop doesn't matter to them as it still looks like poop due to its swirly shape. Anyway, the Digimon were intially on pretty good terms with the Great Mighty Poo, not only for the obvious thing but because he had given them support during the Great War for the Toilets. However, things soured after the Great Mighty Poo was discovered to be plotting against KingSukamon in a bid to take control of the Numemon and Sukamon and use them in his revenge against Conker. It was a whole thing worthy of Game of Thrones, except involving much more excrement. After the Great Mighty Poo admitted his intentions and dared to insult KingSukamon, the Numemon and Sukamon have declared him their enemy. Most suppose it's a good thing that such a disgusting team-up was averted.
  • Some gods fear that Numemon might learn how to throw explosive poop from Amaterasu. Though considering that the species as a whole dislikes bright lights, it might not be a likely that they could meet.
  • They seem to fancy themselves suave Casanovas, so they never miss a chance to hit on deities they find attractive, and the deity's species doesn't matter to them either. Unfortunately for the Numemon and Sukamon, they're just so inherently unappealing that their success rate is basically zero.
  • In one world, a Numemon named Catherine became partners with Lili, of Tekken fame. The badassery must have rubbed off on Catherine, as she managed to evolve into a Monzaemon, and then into a Lilithmon. This has made Catherine into something of an icon and point of pride within the community (also Lili is hot in their opinion). Lili has no problem with acknowledging any of this, regardless of Numemon's infamy, and happily fights alongside Catherine against other deities with Digimon of their own, be it for recreation or for real.

[up][up] So they're the result of poor handling and care. This could open up to an interaction with the Hall of Beast Handlers where their opinions on the Digimon might be less than stellar. That said, even Numemon and Sukamon would be cautious of Rusty, who claims to be a great trainer, yet is so terrible at taking of any creature, let alone a Pokemon, that his care ends up killing them.

Instead of clogging the forum with my profiles, I'm just going to post my sandbox with Stella, Daffodil and Jin Sakai. Any conquerors or peaceful Death entities. Maybe I may have missed a few pragmatic good guys or even a few Psychopomps. I'll post them when I am done.
