Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up]x4 Can you actually attempt to go there whenever you get a chance? Because I feel like that is more important to the trope than anything.

@Excessive-Menace Yay, now I just have to wait for Guilty Gear STRIVE to come out and then wait for the hype to go down... yay. And how many [tup] do I need to have a trope change anyways?

BTW, Ferot Dreadnaught has Mentor's New Hope for Rey.

@ Rey: Ferot wants to give her Mentors Last Hope, I think Whirl wanted to give that trope to the Kobayashi Household. Me, Igordebraga has Die, Chair, Die! for Kylo but I will talk to him in future if it's OK for him to have History Repeats because I think he fits the trope better, as his story is a rhyme of sorts of his grandfather's life

  • Lesser God, Dragon!Kenji might reach Intermediate levels
  • Symbol: The Serpent Orb
  • Theme Song: Serpent Attack as Serpent!Kenji, Dragon Warrior as Dragon!Kenji
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (if he takes the Serpent Path) or Neutral Good (if he takes the Dragon path)
  • Portfolio: Wutai Culture, Critical Hit, Campaign-Exclusive, Lightning Bruiser, Sword and Gun, Took a Level in Badass, Unexpected Successor, Training the Peaceful Villagers, Dragons Up the Yin Yang
  • Domain(s): Clans, Choices, Good or Evil
  • Heralds:
  • Followers: Agent Craig Willmore, Kazuki Takemura, Denam Pavel, Trestkon, Michael Tapp, Zheng, Jack Mower
  • Allies: The Commander (depending on their current allegiance)
  • Enemies: Each other and each other's allies, Heartless-summoners such as Master Xehanort
  • Sometimes, at some point in a game, you're required to make an important choice. This choice can affect a lot of things, from as little as available upgrades for the entire game, or even what storyline you'll take (requiring a replay to see it all). Kenji Oja, former exile from the Serpent Clan after being assumed to have killed his father, upon returning to the lands from where he was born, was faced with an important choice; in the midst of bandits raiding a village, who should he side with?
    • The Kenji who helps the bandits would rebuild the Serpent Clan under a tyrannical fist. The Kenji who helps the villagers would start anew as the benevolent Dragon Clan. Since both paths are irreconcilable with one another to ascend as a single person, two Kenjis were ascended as separate entities instead, and both immediately came to blows, disgusted at the other's choice (and disbelief from Serpent!Kenji after the revelation that the Serpent Orb's power and the Dragon are real after all). They were shortly separated by the Court, who had ascended them in the first place.
  • Applies to both Kenjis:
    • Their temples take the form of Serpentholm, remade in their respective images, and facing in opposite directions so as to minimize immediate clashes, mostly instigated by Serpent!Kenji.
    • And supporting the Kenjis as their Heralds are their Zen Masters, essentially hero units. While both Shinja and Otomo served both Kenjis, their ultimate allegiances brought the former to Serpent!Kenji and the latter to Dragon!Kenji. The latter Kenji was glad, given that Otomo dies in both paths, and now they're reunited.
    • Naturally, given their dispositions, Serpent!Kenji joined the GUAE while Dragon!Kenji joined the GUAG. Both Melkor and Cosmos were pleased with their latest additions to their ranks.
    • The Dragon Clan generally disdain firearms (though still use rockets) while the Serpent Clan appreciate and perfect their use. That said, even Dragon!Kenji is not above using them, and can learn to appreciate allies who use such weapons.
    • If there's one thing the two Kenjis have a common opinion on, it's despisal for creatures born from darkness thanks to their (separate) experiences with the Nightvol.
  • Exclusive to Serpent!Kenji:
    • Having a necromancer among his Zen Masters thanks to Shinja, he has no issues working with those who can raise the dead, such as Kel'Thuzad, to achieve his goals. Of course, that just means he won't oppose them on principle; their attitudes can still determine allegiances, such as him merely being on good terms with Arthas (if only because his Scourge are numerous enough to count as a threat).
    • When working alongside the Commander, even if it's proven really effective, he's annoyed whenever the Commander employs him as a damage sponge for the Ronin's Blood Bond (it transfers half the damage a Ronin takes to those they bond with) and keep Fan Geisha around to keep him healthy. It's a very effective strategy, sure, but that means sitting out of the fight. Now if it was some other Zen Master...
    • He's also come to like having Berkut and Charles zi Britannia on his side, even if only to help further his goals. This also goes for Kazuya Mishima and Bowser Jr., fellow evil sons to evil fathers, though he's bewildered by the... dynamic the latter's father has with the Mushroom Kingdom, given he hangs out with them half the time when he's not invading them.
    • Given his Yakuza look, and his ruthlessness, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima have it out for him.
  • Exclusive to Dragon!Kenji:
    • Corrin gets along with him, having had to make a similar big choice, except it was between families who both love them and are good people to certain degrees (even if one family was under an evil king who might've been all but a puppet by this point), and they also had the chance for a third option. Of course, Corrin also shows contempt for Serpent!Kenji due to his cruelty.
    • His potential after unlocking his Ki holds so much light that he poses a great threat to dark entities with weakness to light has marked him as a threat to such deities or those who employ such creatures like Xehanort and Mr. Scratch.
    • As someone who goes against the intentions of their evil father( figure)s (even if posthumously in Kenji's case, as he wasn't actually responsible for his father's death), in addition to Corrin, Dragon!Kenji has become allies with Rock Howard, Zuko, Jin Kazama, and Alucard.

Honest countesuggestion for Mentor's New Hope: I was browsing the Pantheon page for Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple and I wondered that the titular protagonist was not ascended. Looking at him though, I believe Kenichi himself is a worthy suggestion for Mentor's New Hope. To summarize, the old masters of Ryozanpaku Dojo, especially Akisame Kōetsuji and Kensei Ma were martial artist experts who unfortunately brought up and taught a sinister disciple by the name of Isshinsai Ogata. They only had realized his intentions the moment they were already nearly done with training and this discovery lead the dojo astray. Kenichi is among the newer disciples of the Dojo, and after years of training, is considered to be the last hope for the dojo as they were firm in teaching a good person the way of the martial arts, as opposed to their last disciple.

[down] Wasn't it generally agreed to give Family of Choice to the Kobayashi Household?

About Rey: Mentor's New Hope wasn't reserved, just proposed as a possibly, Family of Choice is also if not more valid. We can discuss this when the DVD is out per prior agreement.

[up][up] Kenichi is in The Wikia Editor's sandbox for Fight Magnet, in case I still want to give Family of Choice to the Kobayashi Family. If we do decide to give Family of Choice to Rey, then I might need to think of an alternate trope for the Kobayashi's.

[up][up][up] The Wikia Editor is thinking of giving Kenichi Fight Magnet. Which is a much more appropriate trope for him. He almost can’t go an episode or chapter without getting into a fight.

I much prefer giving Family of Choice to characters from a show where family is the actual main theme. Stop trying to force the new Star Wars hero in just because "But it's Star Wars, one of the most important franchises ever!" Not all of us are in absolute awe of it.

My main personal issue with the suggestions recently piling up, from the sequel trilogy up to even the 3 Houses suggestions is the main issue of recency bias. This is my beef with Roku's suggestions, who seem to be intent on adding Rey and anyone on the sequel trilogy without the consensus of other potential candidates for the tropes they are assigned on. For instance, on Mentor's New Hope, there is this book called The Giver which I believe uses this trope quite effective and yet its ignored just to shoehorn the suggestions you pick, again, without the consensus of the public. If this keeps up, there will come a time where the issue will arise again and this time there won't be anything to remedy it, hence why my countersuggestions, as I believe other works and mediums deserve a chance to a spot here, not for recency bias or personal bias, but by the execution of their chosen trope.

[up], [up][up]

Yeah. Like I said, only start mentioning it once the Blu-Ray comes out. If this keeps happening, those who actually base their choices on tropes will lose their temper and refuse any sequel suggestions even after the stipulated period. Personally, the Kobayashi family is much better for the trope like wootzits says.

We can wait and reread the character's bio before reserving suggestions, not out of hype but with suitable reason. There's gonna be a trope suited for a sequel character someday, but now is not the time for that. We need to evaluate and understand proper. Just one detail pertaining to the trope is not enough to convince me that Rey is suited for the family trope, since it only popped up once in the epilogue.

If people with recency bias keep going at it the others are going to get sick of it and prevent recent projects from entering the Pantheon ever. And I don't want that. No one wants that. At all.

EDIT: With the controversy surrounding the Fire Emblem game (which was released in July and per the two-months policy, should have gone past its hype), should we double or triple the wait time to June at least?

[down] No, the controversy here. How about July? A solid year after the release should be enough.

[up][up] Speaking of Jonas (the protagonist of the Giver), I was planning on giving him Lost Common Knowledge, as his role as the Receiver involves holding the memories of humanity's history, which was forgotten by the rest of the Community in order to forget the pain and sorrow necessary to make a utopia. Things that they have forgotten include emotions, suffering, color, and music.

[up] Is the controversy about Byleth's inclusion as a playable fighter in Smash Ultimate? For me, I think I could wait until at least one month after the Abyss Mode DLC releases so the hype would die out for me, though June isn't too bad a decision.

EDIT: I'm okay with that, It would give me ample time to play through the game and develop on other profiles.

[down] Decided to check and yeah, some profiles need a touch up at least as they're lacking summaries explaining the characters, outdated and some of the trivia text is too short.

[up]We can decide later which among the tropes is worth giving to Jonas.

On the topic of Star Wars, I believe there should be a reevaluation of all current Star Wars profiles, as many are barebones and some are heavily outdated, such as Anakin and Obi-wan's profiles. As the person who is taking the responsibility of General Griveous' rework, I also believe that there are too many prequel characters to boot, some of which are secondary characters that were just shoehorned in by Clovis, like Wat Tambor and Nute Gunray. That is my take on this issue for now. Oh and there should be a order classification on its own Pantheon page on which is OT, PT or Legends Continuity just for the sake of easily clarification.

[up] That's already there. The 'Others' section just needs a rename, but I believe it was named as such since Thrawn is a canon character brought back from Legends and he straddles a gray area.

Let's see:

Original Trilogy

Luke Skywalker: Give his first trope to someone else. Rework necessary.

Han Solo: Han still seems fit for both these tropes, but the second warrants another house for him. Rework necessary.

Chewbacca: Still fits his trope, but I'm open to a replacement. Otherwise, rework necessary.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Still very much fits this trope without question. Rework being done by Crimson Shark.

Anakin and Palpatine: Rework already being discussed.

Jabba: Still fits his trope, but I'm open to replacement.

Grand Moff Tarkin: Still fits his trope.

Boba Fett: Rework necessary.

Prequel Trilogy

Padme: Should give up her second trope, since that was mostly prevalent only in the first movie. Any Naboo queen could qualify if that was the case.

Jar Jar Binks: Transfer him to a trope more befitting of like audience reception.

Ahsoka Tano: Still fits her trope.

Qui-Gon Jinn: Rework being done by Azure Legacy.

Emir Wat Tambor, Nute Gunray: Hamana is absolutely right, these guys are befitting of their trope but not nearly enough to be ascended for them. Just why? Give them to someone more reliant on it and keep them as Dooku's heralds.

Darth Maul: Considering Rebels and Solo, rework definitely necessary.

Darth Plagueis: Divided. Not really sure if should stay considering he hasn't done anything...

Others

HK-47: Replace him. I'm not even joking.

Blizz: Seems promising. He can stay.

Darth Nihilus: Why did he receive this trope? Open to replacement.

Likely interrupting here, and it's probably a rubbish time to do so anyways but here's a first draft for Miss Bartender and I would like some suggestions. In particular for clients. I know there's Adam Jenson here but his profile's quite bad I don't even know if it'll be around here long enough so I'll withhold adding anything about him for now.

Anyways, suggestions please?

Also, don't ask me about that extra width space for the image. It seems to be a forum problem. It's fine on actual pages.

  • Welcome to Glitch City, a Wretched Hive where the economy has gone to hell, foot shortages and violence is not an uncommon sight and the quality of life for the non-powerful decreases with each passing day. Though it a place that has granted autonomy to the human-like Lilim, it has still rightful earned the infamy of being "the guinea pig of the world" in part to the corporations that keeps things going while the puppet Prime Minister, QUINCY, continually makes things worse. In this lovely city-state Julia— sorry, Jill Stingray works as a bartender in Va-11 Hall-A to make ends meet and is always willing to lend an ear to the stories of her various clients. She would soon come to find out that the bar is threatened to be closed down but in this span of time Jill would not only close off an old chapter of her life involving her ex-girlfriend and a heated fight that drove them apart but also open her eyes to the fact that she is not alone and has formed some genuine companionship with people.
  • When she was brought to the Pantheon it both took a while for Jill to get the swing of things and at the same not all that long when she ascended to the Pantheon, if that makes any sense. The first emotion that came was shock and a reflection on how all her life choices lead to her apparently becoming a deity then remembering certain incidents like the time she served talking Corgis as apart of a celebration for their toy company's anniversary for three days. By then being the Pantheon comparatively didn't sound that weird, and she was at least granted her co-worker, Gillian, and boss, Dana Zane, as Heralds to help her adjust. When she just thought of the whole divinity-thing as more of a title she just treats her time in the Pantheon as not that different from Glitch City. Helping this is that she still gets to get up way later in the day, which is a godsend.
  • (Clientèle)
    • (Dr. Klein and Dr. Mobius)
  • A Deadpan Snarker here and there she may be, overall Jill maintains a cool and professional attitude in her shifts even when faced with more annoying clients. It is not unshakable characteristic, however. Underneath that persona Jill admits she has a surprisingly childish sense of humor. She always has to stifle laughter when a patron orders a Bad Touch, for example. And she became a cackling mess when her boss ordered a giant wiener for a New Years party not helped by one of her friends feeding into said humor. Then there was that one time Jill drunkenly recounted a tale where she broke out in a fit of laughter when she saw her boyfriend's dick for the first time when they were about to have sex.
  • Though Jill's occupation allows her to hear tons and tons of different information from all kinds of people she has no interest in spreading gossip nor being a Knowledge Broker. First of all, it will hurt business and that goes without saying. Second of all, she's just a simple bartender and has no ambitions from delving into that kind of world with the latter. Thirdly, she just wants to hear the stories because she finds them interesting what with each and every person having their own tales.
Jill: I like to see myself as a friendly ear rather than someone you need to be weary of.
  • There are two surefire ways to get on her nerves. The first is making any reference towards her small bust and the second is referring to her by her first name, Julianne (Jules elicits a similar reaction). The Julianne thing comes from the show Model Warrior Julianne, of which she was a die-hard fan growing up. If there was any sort of merch related to it, Jill likely had it. Then came middle school where, teens being teens, she was relentlessly teased for her love of the series. It should be noted, however, that she doesn't necessarily hate Model Warrior Julianne as it's one of the things she'll gush about in detail other than her boss, Dana. Good luck getting her to open up about her continued secret love for the series, though.
  • In an Alternate Universe where the world of Girls' Frontline is in the same as her own, after the disbanding of the White Knights for their copious amount of corruption Glitch City has decided to hire Griffon and Kryuger to act as their security force for a little while. This of course meant that Jill would serve G&K's Tactical Dolls and as she found out they are just as odd as her regular customers. G36 was one of her clients, and the T-Doll maid swung by after having heard Jill taking up shop once more. After they both decided to catch up with Jill herself asking about how is the toaster and vacuum cleaner, G36 told her she is happy to assist in her shifts whenever she is available. Some of Thunder's team members have visited the bar to meet up with some of Jill's friends, Stella and Sei. Apparently, Thunder's team share those two's love for the Lilim idol, *Kira* Miki, and in one of their concerts they played a cover of the Limim's songs.
    • During one of the Dolls visits Jill was reminded another alternate universe involving a place called Griffon City, one that is considerably more wacky. This came from (and we're not kidding here) the combination of the memories coming from a lightweight T-Doll getting so shitfaced along with the form of a nanomachine cloud. However, the world was in imminent danger of being obliterated when said doll wakes from her two-day coma so in desperation many of its inhabitants, which include those versions of Jill and her friends, had their data extrated and put into T-Dolls of their respective likenesses. We would like to reiterate that we were not kidding here. But back on topic at some point Jill bit the bullet and asked the two dolls how her other self and her friends were doing, to which they replied they're doing quite fine.
  • In high school she developed an Absurd Phobia for space aliens, of all things. But she managed to get over this fear by understanding that such emotions will neither shield nor comfort her when they finally invade and kill everyone... So, no, she did not actually get over this fear, and she stays as far away from the House of Extraterrestrials along with any alien races outside of said house.
  • While there is no doubting her skills has a bartender, from mixing simple and sweet Sugar Rushes to the burning and spicy Mars Blast, there is one particular quirk many of her patrons have noted: If a drink's recipe calls for optional Karmotrine in its instructions Jill supposedly will instead interpret it as "dumping-a-much-as-she-possibly-could-into-that-sucker. As Karmotrine is the alcoholic component in these drink it inevitably leads to her clients getting very smashed very quickly. Is it a B.T.C. thing with their training?
  • "Time to mix drinks and change lives."

  • Opposes: Everyone else! But in particular, The Trollkaiger
  • On/Off Relations with: Shinmyoumaru Sukuna
  • Admires: Raspberyl
  • Seija is an amanojaku, a type of youkai who thrives on conflict. She likes things other people hate, hates when she makes other people happy and doesn't want to give anything in return, even if she profits off something. She is hardly liked, but that is exactly what she likes.
  • She was the reason for the Miracle Mallet incident, having been the one who got Sukuna to use the Miracle Mallet to hopefully reverse the power dynamic of Gensokyo to have the weak rule the strong. Though really, she didn't really care about that specifically. All she wanted to do was to reverse the status quo just because she can.
    • She is notable as unlike many others who have caused incidents, she was not really forgiven on what she did and had caused others to want to hunt her down. However, utilizing items that still had some of the Miracle Mallet's magic in them, Seija was able to ward off the many people who tried to attack her, even when they were using spellcards which would normally be impossible to survive.
  • Seija has the power of "turning anything over". The specifics are not known, but she has shown being able to flip buildings upside-down, mess with the screen and turn danmaku lethal. What else she can do is up to the imagination.
  • Aside of her natural powers, she still has her various "cheat" items to help her out, though she can only carry two at a time. These include the Bloodthirsty Yin-Yang Orb, Tengu's Toy Camera, Gap Folding Umbrella, A Miracle Mallet Replica, Substitute Jizo, Cursed Decoy Doll, Four-Foot Magic Bomb, Ghastly Send-Off Lantern and Nimble Fabric
  • If it wasn't clear already, Seija opposes everyone. Not in the sense of "being the ultimate evil" like Anti-Monitor or Grima, nor an Omnicidal Maniac Knight Templar like Zamasu, but more like "a Troll who wants everyone to hate her". That is the true nature of amanojaku, after all.
    • Because of this, Trollkaiger has gained interest in her, and want her to join their ranks. Where Seija does not like to amuse anyone with her actions, she thinks that being in a group who would oppose almost everyone in the Pantheon would be a great idea. She has no plans on officially joining them, however, and the alliance with them did not last.
  • She knows the visual similarities she shares with Ryuko Matoi. She has gone as far as to wear a fake Senketsu and carry a fake Scissor Blade to intentionally piss her off. However, she has made a deal that she can mess with Nui Harime, if Ryuko can suggest good enough of a plan.
  • To the surprise of many, she actually helped Sakuya and the rest of the Scarlet Devil Mansion crew to save Remilia and make her a goddess. Apparently she just wanted to show that she is not really on GUAE's side by attacking Dracula and Dio Brando, and to piss off Terumi by having another "shitty vampire" ascend.
  • Surprisingly she and Sukuna are still seen together even after the whole Miracle Mallet incident. It seems to be because Sukuna is able to press the right buttons to get Seija to do stuff for her. She definitely doesn't really trust Seija, and Seija knows it.
  • Upon the formation of Itazura Griefers, she was assigned to be their leader. Why is she the leader? Because that position is where she's least likely to screw with the others. Why did she accept it? Because to her, a neutral group between LOL Rangers and Trollkaigers would mean that she can mess with anyone she wishes and not be weighted down by her "alliance". Though she thinks that the group is starting to get too big for her liking.
    • Note that her leadership is really hands-off. And by that, we mean that she really doesn't care what the other members are doing unless they try to drag her into helping them.
  • Was one of few people who knew that Hazama was in the Pantheon before he fully ascended. She kept it a secret for everyone else since she thought that it would be more fun that way, and Terumi and Hazama wanted to believe that she wouldn't spill the beans.
  • "The way you reject is the way that I choose, since I know it’ll drive you insane..."
