Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Does Darkman look good to go or does he need additional fixes and improvements?

Peyton Westlake, God of Leaving the Scene after Saving the Day (Darkman)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_darkman_liam_neeson_movie_h1.png
  • Theme Music: Darkman 1 Main Titles
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The word Darkman, with a sihoulette of himself forming the second "A"
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Bandaged Face, The Grotesque, Mood-Swinger, Anti-Hero, The Cowl, Can Use Masks to Disguise Himself, Giving Up his Identity of Peyton Westlake
  • Domains: Instability, Disguises
  • Allies: Ash Williams, Kent Allard, Kabal, Joshua Graham
  • Enemies: Kingpin, The Invisible Man
  • Wary of: The Spy
  • Peyton Westlake was once a normal scientist working on synthetic skin. His days of being a regular human being came to an end after he was attacked by mobsters and left for dead. He survived, but was left with horrible burn scars, increased strength, and a fair amount of mental instability. After going after the men who tried to kill him, Peyton realized that any chance he has of a normal life was never going to happen, thus he became known as Darkman and has fought for justice from the shadows with the help of synthetic skin that can last 99 minutes. Being a vigilante from behind the shadows, whenever he gets some sort of crime stopped, he isn't one to stick around for long and goes somewhere else once all is said and done.
  • It was yet another ordinary day for the Pantheon and there was a man who looked pretty normal walking amongst a crowd of people. Someone then noticed the man going down a manhole, but they decided to leave him alone for the time being. Night came to the Pantheon and with it, some criminals who attempted to attack innocent people for no real reason. A man with a coat, hat, and bandage wraps across his face showed and began beating up the thugs who tried to harm the innocents. The innocents, who had ran off earlier and witnessed the confrontation, then tried to approach the man who had just defeated the criminals, but he had already disappeared. One of the people who witnessed the battle (who noticed the man from earlier go down a manhole and had a stopwatch with him) took a bit of time to piece things together and noticed that Darkman, a masked vigilante who specializes in making human masks, was the one who fought the criminals and surmised that he'd be useful in stopping crime from spreading further.
  • When it comes to disguises, Peyton needs to take a picture of someone he intends to disguise as and be able to match the tone of their voice perfectly. Given the 99 minute time limit he has with the masks, there isn't much room for error when it comes to finding out if there's any suspicious activity going on. Whenever he appears as a normal man, he has talked to some benevolent scientists on how to make a longer-lasting synthetic skin.
  • He had an encounter with Ash Williams thanks to the demonic book from the latter's world bringing Ash over to the Darkman's world. They both teamed up to stop the Deadites from overruning Darkman's city and while Darkman and Ash Williams don't meet with each other too often in the Pantheon, they will team-up if necessary.
  • Those who are involved with criminal empires, especially if they lead said empires, are a significant target for Darkman's wrath, especially if those crime bosses do something not just to endanger civilians, but to put Darkman in serious trouble. Kingpin has tried eliminate Darkman every so often, seeing how Darkman fighting against a criminal empire was not that different from Daredevil trying to take down Kingpin's own plans. Kingpin working with others associated with criminal empires such as Vito Corleone has given Darkman another reason to stop Wilson Fisk.
  • Darkman learned that he wasn't the only one who received nasty burn scars and opted to see who those additional burn victims were. He ended up meeting Kabal and Joshua Graham and was surprised to find out that the two were former criminals before having a change of heart. Graham has assured Darkman that he and Kabal won't cause any trouble for him and that they sympathize with Darkman on the circumstances that led to his burn scars. Contrary to what some may think, neither Kabal nor Graham have wanted Darkman's synthetic skin for themselves, even if it's possible for it to last longer than 99 minutes. Nevertheless, Darkman has remained good friends with Graham and Kabal following their initial meeting.
  • Peyton found out from others that some thieves such as Arsene Lupin have used disguises solely to stealing something that could be of worth to them. He wasn't amused at any of it, especially with the whole ordeal regarding synthetic skin and how, no matter how close he got back then, he still has to put up with the 99 minute limit of his masks, whereas the thieves (for the most part) don't appear to have a time limit with their masks.
  • More than a handful of deities have wanted Darkman's synthetic skin for their own nefarious purposes. The Invisible Man is one notable example, especially since he wears bandages across his face like Darkman does, but for a different reason. Needless to say, Peyton isn't going to allow anyone to take off with his synthetic skin, especially if it's someone as insane as The Invisible Man.
  • Kent Allard took an interest in Darkman after hearing about the latter's methods of fighting crime. While Darkman for the most part is one to work by himself and is generally focused on perfecting his synthetic skin, he's able to find time to work with Allard to give criminals a really hard time.
  • The Spy is someone who has been a source of considerable concern for Darkman. Not only is The Spy every bit as good with disguises as Darkman, but he is very unpredictable and could turn against someone he was working with when they least expect it. Trying to follow The Spy around and see what he intends to do at any given moment has been something of a challenge for Peyton, especially if he wants to see if The Spy is doing something far more suspicous than normal.
  • He is not a person who can be considered emotionally stable, but one sure-fire way to set him off is to call him a "freak". This can happen even if someone within earshot of him says the word "freak" without any intent of directing it towards him.

Corrodium

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/corrodium.png
A sample of corrodium
  • House: Treasures (Maximum Security)
  • Appearance: A glowing, purplish mineral with mutagenic properties.
  • Alignment: True Neutral, but has been used for Chaotic Evil purposes.
  • Portfolio: A powerful, glowing, purplish mineral that causes instant severe mutations and Sanity Slippage in those who are not immune to its effects
  • Domains: Minerals, Radioactivity, Mutations
  • Corrodium is a mineral of great potential energy, much more so than even Earth's uranium. It was once mined throughout the galaxy as a large and extremely efficient power supply. However, the mining and use of the substance for this purpose has since been banned in most systems due to how unstable and dangerous it is, causing serious mutations and loss of sanity to those who are exposed to it. The Anur System is a known exception, as its inhabitants are completely immune to corrodium's negative effects.
  • Corrodium was first discovered in the Pantheon during one of the Dwarf's routine trips to the House of Earth and Metal. It took several members of the House to subdue the grossly mutated Dwarf, their behavior being described afterwards as feral, animalistic, and aggressive. Fortunately for them, the effects of corrodium are reversible, provided that the victim is not exposed for too long. Before too long, the Dwarf was back to normal.
    • As a result of this incident, any and all corrodium that could be found in the House of Earth and Metal was excavated and subsequently locked away in Maximum Security.
  • Zs'Skayr once used corrodium to power a light blocking field that covered the entire Earth. All organic life on the planet mutated as a side effect. Because of this, he and his servant, Kuphulu, are strictly forbidden from going anywhere near the Pantheon's corrodium stash.
    • Dr. Viktor, however, is given somewhat of a pass to help with the House of Science's research on the mineral. He is required to be under heavy supervision whenever he is handling it, though.
  • While the House of Science has firsthand accounts of corrodium's effect on the Dwarf's species due to the previously mentioned incident, they hope to study its effect on other species. So far, Ben Tennyson has been able to describe its effect on humans and cows, and has also revealed that he is immune to it while in alien form, but they are still seeking further data. As such, they've put up advertisements looking for those who would willingly expose themselves to corrodium. Any willing participants will be compensated handsomely for their contribution, of course.
  • Reportedly, the House of Science has also been unable to get an accurate measurement of corrodium's ionizing radiation. This is because it has apparently broken EVERY Geiger counter that ever tried to measure it.

[up][up] I agree, quite a few sub-par profiles in there, too.

Anyways, all the corrodium of the House of Earth and metal has been excavated and locked away.

Millenniumon and Diaboromon, Embodiments of the Y2K Virus (MoonMillenniumon, ZeedMillenniumon) (Diablomon, Kuramon, Tsumemon, Keramon, Chrysalimon, Infermon, Armagemon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Millenniumon_8542.jpg
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Diaboromon_777.jpg
  • House: A.I. Personalities
  • Overdeity (Millenniumon), Greater God (Diaboromon, but Overdeity as Armagemon)
  • Symbol: The two heads of ZeedMillenniumon; Diaboromon's head with the word "Hello" repeating in the background over and over again
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Personifications of the Year 2000 problem
  • Domains: Viruses, Abominations, Destruction, Madness, Power
  • Allies: Omega, Ultron, Love Machine, Enter, the White, Majin Buu, The Seer
  • Enemies: Omnimon, Dukemon, Beelzemon, Wizardmon, Koichi Kimura, Lan Hikari and Megaman.EXE, Arceus, Flynn, good and neutral members of the House of Technology, EVERY Digidestined
  • Kid with the Leash: Radical Ed (Millenniumon)
  • Probably the most frighteningly destructive Digimon ever conceived, Millenniumon was born as something of a last hurrah by Dark Master Mugendramon after being defeated by the eight first Digidestined and fusing with a Chimeramon (possibly the same one defeated by Raidramon three years later through some space-time continuum defying shenanigans). It's responsible for many events affecting the Digi-multiverse, such as starting Ken Ichijoji on the path of darkness using its Dark Spores and stranding Ryo Akiyama (its archnemesis) in the Tamers universe. Despite being so overreaching, it seems to have no real desire beyond complete chaos and destruction, which combined with its overwhelming power, makes it an extremely dangerous threat to both the Digital and Real World.
    • The House of Technology, deciding that Millenniumon is too dangerous to be allowed to run around free, entreated its members to find a way to restrain Millenniumon. As a result, Millenniumon became trapped in an encrypted file of Radical Ed's making. After some time in that state, with Ed communicating with the monster out of curiosity and occasionally using it to unleash some controlled chaos, which caused them to develop a twisted sort of bond, she received a Digivice that pegged her as its Tamer. Millenniumon was disbelieving that anyone would dare to be its Tamer at first, but, perhaps as a result of Ed's personality, it has slowly become Yandere for her. This has made Diaboromon and its allies' attempts to free it particularly difficult.
  • Ironically, through Chimeramon, Millenniumon has the DNA of both the Agumon and Gabumon lines. It never misses a chance of taunting Omnimon about this fact and its possible hidden meanings, which predictably leaves the knight very incensed.
  • Sometimes Millenniumon likes to fake out those who'd challenge it by appearing in its Mugendramon or Chimeramon forms, only for, upon "defeat", causing the challenger to despair with the revelation that it's only begun.
  • Once upon a time, Millenniumon existed in the Pantheon as the Evil Counterpart of Arceus. Millenniumon now has a different position from then, but this hasn't changed the enmity between its destructive self and the Creator Pokemon. An all-out battle between the two would undoubtedly be quite the spectacle, but Arceus is glad that it can avoid going that far (thanks to Ed) because who knows what damage their clashing powers could cause to the Pantheon.
  • The White, ever the fans of Omnicidal Maniacs, are crossing their fingers that Millenniumon will someday be free and be back to its primal state of annihilating everything alongside Diaboromon, which they'd welcome with absolute joy. However, Flynn will never allow this, and has promised to beat down Millenniumon should he ever become untamed again. In the meantime, he has had to deal with Diaboromon messing with his COMP and setting loose all his demons, forcing him to battle them, for which he gave it a good thrashing. Radical Ed then installed a sort of anti-virus program (which is also anti-Millenniumon, to be safe) in the COMP to prevent that from ever happening again, and all COMPs will be required to have it.
  • While the Diaboromon line has served as enemies for the many Digidestined over the years, this one in particular, created by Millenniumon, would go on to become one of the most feared and dangerous of their foes. Twice it came close to destroying the physical world, first by targeting their city with nuclear missiles and later by Digivolving into its most powerful form, Armagemon. Even now, it still seeks the utter destruction of both the Digital and Real Worlds.
    • Unlike Millenniumon, Diaboromon escaped containment by the House of Technology (not that they're still not trying, but Diaboromon's very slippery) and still runs free.
  • Diaboromon assumes a servile position in relation to Millenniumon on account of its lesser power, but this works out just fine for the both of them since they have the exact same goals. It's to the point where the relationship might be a Villainous Friendship.
  • Sharing the ravenous hunger that its previous Digivolutions had, Diaboromon will devour every bit of data it sees, destroying countless programs and endangering any gods that share the same nature. He'll retreat after receiving enough damage, but once he heals up, he'll get right back to chowing down.
  • No matter how weak or powerful Diaboromon's enemies are, it will NEVER underestimate them and will do whatever it takes to bring them down. Are they in the middle of their power-up? Blast them while they can't move. Outnumbered? Spawn a million copies and attack from all sides. Are the humans remaining a nuisance? Launch a nuke right at them.
  • While usually confined to cyberspace, Diaboromon has tried to manifest within the physical realm in the past. His most notable attempt involved releasing millions of Kuramon into the physical world, gathering them all in one place to provide enough data to Digivolve into Armagemon, a six-legged abomination with more than enough power to bring about its namesake. Neither Omnimon nor Imperialdramon could stop the beast and it was only when the former gave his power to the latter, boosting him to Paladin Mode, that Diaboromon was finally slain in its realm for good. While such an attempt would not go unnoticed within the Pantheon, the Virus Digimon, if anything, is cunning and content to bide its time.
  • If Diaboromon does manage to have its form destroyed, Millenniumon will take the remaining data and reform it into a DigiEgg, reborn at the beginning of the line as a Kuramon. Millenniumon? There's no destroying Millenniumon. Thank Chronos for the Radical Ed containment measure.
    • When endangered in its Rookie form as Keramon, Diaboromon loves to trip up its attackers by completely skipping Champion level and Digivolve straight into Ultimate level as Infermon, quickly gaining enough speed and power to outmatch most enemies. However, as a result of skipping the Chrysalimon stage, Diaboromon isn't as powerful as it would be if it went through the Digivolution naturally.
  • When Diaboromon encountered the program known as Love Machine, the two noted the striking similarities between them, leading into an easy alliance. There is also the Seer, another expression of Y2K, with whom Diaboromon and Millenniumon are in harmony with due to sharing omnicidal tendencies.
    • In that same vein, Omega and Ultron have welcomed the Virus Digimon for both its unparalleled hacking control and its power and love for destruction.
  • For all its evil, several specimens of Diaboromon have gone on record as participating in taking down the D-Reaper alongside all other Digimon. It seems that even for something like Diaboromon, Even Evil Has Standards. Well, maybe it was an instinctual thing.

[up][up][up] I always thought that treasures and dominions could get away with being shorter than deity profiles, though. Isn't that why less [tup]s are required to ascend them? Does anyone else think that the profile for corrodium was too short when I ascended it, or is it fine?

It's certainly longer than most profiles in the Treasury.

@drakan: The Corrodium looks fine enough as it is. From what I understand, treasures and dominions don't have to be as long as a character profile, but the text still needs to be of good length.

Also, wasn't there talks about making a section for viruses in the Treasures or are there not enough of them for it to happen?

Darkman again with one approval. When it comes to actor relations, I need more than just "have them meet directly with this character because of similar faces/voices" or "this character could confuse someone for someone else that had a similar voice/face as a character they know about back in their universe". Sufficient details are needed for interactions between deities when it comes to actor relations.

Ōarai Girls' Academy Anglerfish Team, Goddesses of Triumphant Underdogs (Team A (All). Miho (Miporin). Yukari (Guderian, Sergeant Third Class Oddball, Tank Fairy, Fluffy Hair, Tank Pope). Mako (Remako))

Panzer IV upgraded to Ausf. H
  • Theme Song: Enter Mission
  • Demigoddesses
  • Symbol: Anglerfish Emblem or Their Panzer IV
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio:
  • Domain: School, Tanks, Sports, Spirits
  • Herald: The other members of the Ōarai Tankery Club
  • Allies: SCP- 516, Muse
  • Enemies:
  • Ōarai Girls' Academy's Tankery Club was made up of a makeshift team of girls with out of date tanks from a school that was closing down. They went up against schools who were more better off with much higher quality tanks. Despite the obvious disadvantage the Ōarai Girls faced, they pull through it all to win the National Sensha-do Championship.
  • The Anglerfish team has garner respect from some of the ascended Power Rangers and Super Sentai as one of their special talent was mimicking the roll call of Gosei Sentai Dairanger.
  • Miho:
    • Upon her ascension, Kamina expressed interest in mentoring her about Rousing Speeches. Sadly, when she tries to emulate his Large Ham style the result is endearingly awful.
    • Learning about Azula and her treatment of her friends was the closest she's come to divine fury. Then she heard about her Villainous Breakdown and felt pity and compassion. They are only enemies as far as Azula believes that Sensha-Do is an elaborate plot by her loving mother to make her fail at life.
    • She has a great relationship with Madoka and come to see the veteran goddess as a Cool Big Sis. She did not hesitate in joining the Pantheonic Rebellion to support her.
    • She also is good friends with Saki Miyanaga, due to having similarities in their relationship with their respective sisters. Miho holds out hope that Teru cares more for Saki than she lets on, much like Miho's own sister does for her.
    • Miho hasn't figured out why she sounds like I-401 Iona but she's not complaining because she's a nice person(?) from the few conversations they've had.
    • She, Anoa Aoba and Naka (and later on, I-401 Iona, Teana and Sanya) have made a small group called "The Girl Military Force", with her standing for land crafts. She felt like she was bit out of place, though, as she was the only one not directly based on a vehicle, as she simply pilots a tank, until Teana joined in.
  • Saori:
    • She's also a very skilled cook so Saori will often go to the house of food to make lunches for her friends whenever they hang out or have a match.
    • Saori often asks other gods to come to her for love advice, but whenever she does there will often be one or two gods who ask her about how successful her love life has been and it never ends well... for Saori.
    • If any deity thinks they'll be able to get the upper hand on The Anglerfish Team just because you're listening in on Saori's radio communications then think again because she more than capable of texting battle plans to her teammates.
    • Saori was once approached by Shirabe Tsukuyomi because she mistook her voice for that of her best friend, Kirika Akatsuki and believing that an alliance with Saori would be helpful and because Saori is a pleasant person, Shirabe became friends with Saori.
    • Upon ascension Saori was immediately greeted by The Nagarekawa girls because they thought that their manager Saori Nishifukai had ascended too and were shocked to find out that there was another Saori who had the same name and same appearance as their manager.
  • Hana:
    • She can be seen in the house of nature working on her flower arraignment. There she met Hinata who was flower-pressing at the time and they quickly became good friends.
    • She has impressed many gods such as Mark Jamison Shepard, Lockon Stratos, Sniper Wolf and Yoko Littner with her skill with a tank cannon and had been invited to many marksman competitions with her favorite being One In the Chamber for obvious reasons. When it's noted that she just started not too long ago. They were impressed even more..
  • Yukari:
    • Yukari was a big fan of the Nishizumi school of Tankery long before meeting Miho and was overjoyed not only to be going to the same school as her idol but also getting to be on the same Tankery team as her.
    • Due to spending all her time obsessing over and learning about everything tanks, Yukari didn't have have any friends growing up as she didn't share any sort of common ground with the other girls her age.
      • Some gods jokingly speculate that Yukari didn't have friends due to her hairstyle.
    • It's not uncommon to see Yukari in the house of Commerce with her friend Konata as she shares Yukari's love for a subject that is usually liked predominantly by males.
    • Yukari gets along well with Ryusei Date as he was a fan of mechas long before becoming a pilot much like Yukari was a fan of tanks long before becoming the loader for one.
    • Need some intel? You can count on Yukari to infiltrate the enemies hideout. As long as she doesn't need stealth and she has one of their uniforms, you can trust Yukari to learn what you need to know. So far she has done this twice with a Shocker Combatman and a Storm Trooper.
    • Due to her being a massive military nut, Yukari's temple has a lot of military rations used by various countries (And spam) stored in her temple.
  • Mako:
    • Mako is well known as one of the laziest deities in the pantheon, only being woken up to sound of a tank firing, right next to her temple.
    • Mako believes that Princess Luna should keep the moon up later so she can get more sleep, and Mako is not alone as the other gods of darkness agree with her. This has in-turn led to a one-sided dislike for Princess Celestia; whose job is to... you guessed it, raising the sun.
      • Mako isn't too fond of Amaterasu or Volcarona either as they can give the Pantheon sunlight just as easily as Celestia.
    • Seeing a ghost is one of the few things that can cause Mako to go full speed in reverse without looking where she's going, so Mako makes it a point to stay far away from the house of ghosts to the relief of the other deities.
      • This display of fear has attracted the attention of Ragna the Bloodedge and Alice the 16th due to sharing the same fear. They're thankful that Mako is as lazy as she is because it means there's one less person to get in their way when they go off and do stuff.
        • On once occasion, while these three were together, a ghost (later known as Nue Honjuu) suddenly appeared before their eyes and made Mako faint. When she woke up and got out of the hospital, people were looking at her while whispering at each other. After learning that Ragna carried her Princess-style and Alice blasted Nue into oblivion, their meetings became a bit awkward after she thanked the former, with some gods shipping them to boot, including Alice.
      • At first, she was afraid of a girl called Sanya, thinking that she was a ghost. However, one day when she found Sanya sleeping next to her due to being too tired to fly back to her own temple, she found out that she is figuratively a ghost and the two sometimes sleep together. Much to the chagrin of Eila.
    • Before Mako met Mako, Mako was really confused about why the other gods were talking about Mako doing and saying a lot of weird stuff. Then Mako met Mako and she understood everything the other gods were talking about. She was also surprised to find out that she fell asleep faster than her in school.
