SiIvaGunner has seen an ongoing plot (or lore) ever since it was rebooted in June 2016, and although usually takes a backseat to the channel's usual content, it is ever-present. The cast of its lore is a Massive Multiplayer Crossover with characters from all over the place, fitting with the channel's Reference Overdosed nature.
In The 'Verse, most of these characters exist as figments. Figments are essentially Tulpas, they are merely representations of an idea and can't go to the real world (except for the few who were transported there at the start of the Christmas Comeback Crisis).
For comprehensive lists of the memes and running gags that spawn these characters, see those respective pages.
SiIvaGunner spoilers will be unmarked bar rip jokes.
Channel hosts

Based off the real GilvaSunner's avatar, SiIvaGunner (formerly GiIvaSunner) is a Living Statue who only uploads high quality video game rips.
- Advertised Extra: Despite the channel bearing his name, he has minimal involvement in the lore. His only significant act so far is going to sleep at the end of Season 1.
- He ran the channel during Season 1, but didn't play a significant role in the Season 1 storyline SiIvaGunner: Rebooted due to being rebooted.
- He is asleep during Season 2, with other characters running the channel instead.
- He "returned" at the start of Season 3, but didn't take part in anything lore-related... and was eventually revealed to be a fake.
- Author Avatar: Has some elements of this, but it's mostly masked by the Kayfabe.
- Backstory Horror: SiIvaGunner is a completely harmless Living Statue that just wants to create high quality rips, right? Nope. According to Haltmann's Archives
, SiIvaGunner is a Humanoid Abomination from space that killed a completely innocent person just to steal his computer.
- Big Good: He's the leader of his self-named channel.
- Catchphrase: "I only upload high quality video game rips."
- During the reboot, it was "I upload high quality video game rips only."
- Cloudcuckoolander: He's quite the eccentric person, dedicating his life to creating "high quality video game rips" that he insists are exactly that.
- Convenient Coma: While not actually a coma, him going to sleep at the end of Season 1 has functioned as this trope with him being Put on a Bus.
- Depending on the Artist: Rarely, he is depicted as Grand Dad (as in the announcement video for Volume 6.66), though in most cases the two are separate.
- Depending on the Writer: His relation to the rips posted on the channel. In this rip
he acts as quality control for an incoming rip, with some regular personnote actually making it; in this rip
he's shown working with the Power Trio to make rips; in this rip
he says that making high quality rips is a job that he landed; and finally, in the Season 1 ending, when it shows
him witnessing the rip he just created, he's all alone at a computer in his house.
- Early Installment Weirdness: "The Evil King Bowser"
from Super Mario World features him speaking, but his voice is provided by Microsoft Sam, rather than VoiceForge's Wiseguy. This is not considered an Early-Bird Cameo for Mr. Rental, who would be voiced by Micerosoft Sam much later on.
- Eyepatch After Time Skip: Although the time wasn't skipped in this case, he gained his eyepatch after the week-long break following the termination of the original GiIvaSunner channel.
- after the second termination, Siiva Gunner once again got a minor redesign, this time having scars on his body.
- Heavy Sleeper: He's managed to sleep through everything happening on the channel since Season 1 ended.
- Hidden Depths: "The Creation of GiIvaSunner [FILE-01] - Haltmann's Archives"
provides us with GiIvaSunner's backstory.
- Jerkass: In "Menu - Garfield", a Garfielf parody, SiIva plays the role of Garfield. He repeatedly demands things from Grand Dad and gets Nozomi to shoot herself.
- Living Statue: Depicted as the statue of Antinous
◊ with a bit of datamoshing applied to the hair and right eye, that is also wearing an eyepatch. Interestingly, the "living" part is connected to the channel; he's only alive when the channel is.
- Pirate: Changed his name to "Long John SiIvaGunner" to celebrate Talk Like A Pirate Day. Notably, this is the only time in the channel's history that the actual YouTube username was changed.
- The One That Got Away: Nikki from Swapnote is implied
to be this. Though, this is probably an Aborted Arc since she hasn't been mentioned again and the rip seems to contradict the later Haltmann's Archives
on SiIva's origins.
- Original Character: Everything about him is either original or a product of the channel imitating GilvaSunner.
- Put on a Bus: He's been sleeping since Season 1.
- Read the Freaking Manual: "Please read the channel description."
- During the reboot, it was "Read the channel description, please."
- Rip Van Winkle: Grandiose City doesn't very much resemble how it was when he left it, so this is inevitable.
- Taken for Granite: When the GiIvaSunner channel was terminated, he became a lifeless statue. However, this was rectified upon the creation of the SiIvaGunner channel.
- Unobtainium: He is made of an unidentified alien mineral that came to Earth in the form of a meteor.
- Welcome to Corneria: SiIvaGunner replies to comments almost exclusively by just repeating his Catchphrase. In some cases, he'll make a small variation. This is mostly exclusive to the pre-reboot era, as he stopped replying to comments by the time of the reboot (possibly due to the fanbase growing too large for the team to reasonably manage comment replies and/or Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things).

- Affably Evil: Despite being a villain, Wood Man doesn't display any real hatred of anything SiIva-related. When the Voice criticizes him for uploading his own rips, he says that he likes making people laugh, and he's hesitant to try and kill Nozomi, though he still goes along with it.
- all lowercase letters: This is his usual way of speaking, although it's not strictly followed (i.e. sometimes the word "I" is capitalized).
- Big Bad: In a meta sense, as he was responsible for corrupting the names in the albums. He was also responsible for SiIva's sleep-ripping.
- Big Fun: He's pretty big and is a laid-back comedic relief.
- But Now I Must Go: After the 2016 Halloween special, he left the channel to fight Mega Man. He eventually came back and was revealed to be working for The Voice.
- Catchphrase: "nice"
- Catching Some Z's: He caused SiIvaGunner to do this during the 2016 Halloween special (replacing the "Please read the channel description" line of each rip) by uploading rips while SiIva was still asleep, but without fully taking over the channel himself.
- Character Blog: Not really a blog, but he runs the website https://mm2woodman.neocities.org/
.
- Computer Virus: Heavily implied to be such. Not only was the Mighty No. 9 rip with his Leitmotif identified as one, but he's also behind the "corrupted" names in the albums.
- Dimensional Traveler: According to The Voice Inside Your Head, Wood Man is somehow able to exist in both the real world and the digital world, something only The Voice itself is also capable of.
- If this video
is any indication, it's possible for him to mess around with the channel's timeline, prompting a temporary takeover by an alternate universe Chad Warden for example.
- The King for Another Day credits revealed that Wood Man has been screwing around in another dimension, putting off the progression of the Christmas Comeback Crisis universe (which is still stuck in December 2016).
- If this video
- Dragon Their Feet: The Voice set up Wood Man's eventual appearance, yet the Robot Master didn't actually show up until long after The Voice was defeated by Chad. Wood Man later plays a crucial role in The Voice's return, which would technically subvert this trope.
- Early-Bird Cameo: His actual debut was during the Continuity Reboot, as seen here
.
- Fourth-Wall Observer:
- He knows who really made each high quality rip (out-of-universe), and he uses this knowledge to "corrupt" the artist/song names in SiIvaGunner's albums (in other words, gave proper credit to the rippers).
- After stopping the reboot's "Genocide" timeline, he makes a comment about how Genocide Chad Warden is more like his real-life counterpart than the version we originally saw in the reboot.
- In "Wood Man & Robbie Rotten"
, Wood Man explains that he aware of the fact that it is not Christmas 2016 anymore, despite that being when the Christmas Comeback Crisis takes place. He also knows that it is the release date for Kirby Star Allies.
- "Groundhog Day" Loop: How he describes knowing that it's not Christmas 2016 anymore. Interestingly, he says that he could leave at any time and he'd be free from the loop, but doesn't because he wants his friends to be free, too.
- Green Thumb: His signature weapon is the Leaf Shield. Though as he found out when fighting Nozomi, throwing a bunch of leaves at your opponent isn't a very deadly attack.
- Halloween Episode: Hosts both of the channel's Halloween specials, dubbed The Silva Gunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special. His leitmotif is one of the main memes for the event along with "Haunted House" and "Kyun! Vampire Girl".
- HeelFace Turn: While he's not taking Nozomi's side per se, he decided to quit working with The Voice in Episode 4 of the Christmas Comeback Crisis. Subverted in Episode 5 when he teams up with Robbie Rotten to capture Nozomi.
- One-Winged Angel: As of Episode 9, he can now turn into a Smolitzer-like mech for Robbie to pilot.
- Power Trio: For the Halloween specials, along with 8-Bit Beast and Takane Shijou.
- Read the Freaking Manual:
- When he uploads rips without doing a full channel takeover, it will usually say something like "please read the channel description. nice", if not just "nice"
- During the 2017 Halloween special, "please read the nice and spooky channel description. oooooooo nice."
- Averted during his other takeovers.
- Reality Warper: He has several odd abilities, likely resulting from him effectively being born from a computer virus. He can enter the real world (something that that only human-Figment hybrids are supposed to be able to do), he can "corrupt" the artist/song names in the albums, and he can temporarily whisk the channel into an alternate timeline.
- Stylistic Suck: His entire existence is basically this. From his character design, to his Leitmotif.
- Squishy Wizard: Has the power to transcend dimensions, corrupt files, take over the channel, and revive the Voice... but his Leaf Shield does absolutely nothing and his arm falls off when he tries to punch Nozomi.
- Those Two Bad Guys: With Robbie Rotten.
- Troll: Often messes with the channel for his own amusement.

The Voice is a human-Figment hybrid and the channel's Big Bad. His ultimate goal is to destroy all anime (except for Jojos Bizarre Adventure... sometimes).
- Affably Evil: The Voice always presents himself as being polite and reasonable, even if his goals are usually quite anathemic to the well-being of the channel.
- Ascended Fanon: His appearance that debuted in the Christmas Comeback Crisis was based off this fanart
made during the reboot.
- Ambiguously Human: He appears as a silhouette of a man, with an inverted pyramid for a head and a purple eye in the middle... except he's not just a silhouette due to lighting, he actually is all black (besides his eye). Later appearances also indicate that he also wears a suit.
- Ambiguous Situation: It's not entirely clear what he's been doing since Haltmann took the channel from him.
- Back from the Dead: Thanks to Wood Man's cooperation, he's able to return for the Christmas special.
- Berserk Button: "Weeaboo anime bullshit".
- Big Bad: His desire to purge all anime places him as the main antagonist. AMUNO Le Film, having killed the original Silvain and thus becoming AMUNO's main target.
- Blatant Lies: According to the Voice, "Snow halation" was never popular until it rode on the coat-tails of Grand Dad. This, of course, ignores the fact that "Snow halation" was already the most popular and well-known Love Live! song years before Grand Dad was made infamous on Vinesauce, let alone the creation of SiIvaGunner.
- Came Back Strong: Upon his return, the Voice recreates Haltmann, obliterates the beacon, seemingly terrorizes the city, crushes Grand Dad, Loud Nigra, and Meta Knight's attempt at retaliating, and captures CG, Sens, Haruka, Robbie, Tito, and Felix. All in less than two minutes.
- Evil Brit: He has a rather noticeable British accent.
- Hypocrite: Criticizes "Snow halation" for being "weeaboo anime bullshit", yet is perfectly good with "GO MY WAY!!" taking its place. Later on, his goal becomes "purge all weebs", yet he's perfectly good with Jo Jos
- In-Series Nickname: "The Gay Mexican-Ass in my Ass", courtesy of Chad.
- Knight of Cerebus:
- After he showed up, things became noticeably more serious. The humor didn't completely disappear from the channel, but his appearance brought more conflict than anyone anticipated from a channel that uploads Bait-and-Switch high quality video game rips.
- Manages to become an even bigger one during the Christmas Comeback Crisis. Not only did he kidnap all of the memes, but he also kills off the entire Cinderella Girls crew, just to show that he isn't fucking around anymore. And that was just the first episode.
- And then later subverted when Inspector Gadget took control of the channel, ruining The Voice's office in a comical manner while The Voice himself is, ironically, utterly powerless to stop him.
- Late-Arrival Spoiler: His return in the Christmas special spoils his demise in the reboot arc.
- Malicious Misnaming: "The Gay Mexican Ass In My Ass", from Chad Warden.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain!: Him offering Chad to rule together over SiIvaGunner managed to give Chad an opening to revive "Snow halation"... which he destroyed before.
- No Need for Names: Insists that he be called "The Voice Inside Your Head" because names are not important to him.
- Original Character: The most original character in the entire SiIvaGunner canon, actually, since he is not based on anything at all, and he does not represent any pre-existing meme or Running Gag.
- Out of Focus: Despite being the main antagonist, he has only had a few appearances on the channel since Inspector Gadget took it from him in Spring 2017.
- Painting the Medium: His speech is always rendered in a pixel font. Though this may have originally been done to differentiate his dialogue from Chad Warden's, it carried over to the Visual Novel presentation of the Christmas Comeback Crisis, where the distinction a moot point because all the dialogue is labeled.
- Purple Is Powerful: His single facial feature is a glowing purple eye.
- Read the Freaking Manual: "I order you to read the channel description."
- Sharp-Dressed Man: In the Garry's Mod rips.
- Stock Scream: Does the Howie scream as he dies from the power of the MF LIKE BUTTON, and again when Chad shoots him in the alternate timeline.
- Synthetic Voice Actor: He is voiced by UK voice Graham, which is available on the Acapela Box and the NaturalReaders voice demos.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Pizza. To an... unhealthy extent
.
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: He claims to have caused the reboot to prevent "Snow halation"-related discourse from destroying the SiIvaGunner fanbase. As for his actions in the Christmas Comeback Crisis... not so much.
- His apparent real motive, revealed in Pokémon: Grand Dad (a Pokémon FireRed ROM hack which was part of the reboot ARG) does not change his position as well-intentioned, as he was trying to protect the channel from an (as of now unknown) bigger threat. However, this seems to be an Aborted Arc, since it hasn't been mentioned again despite The Voice returning in the Christmas Comeback Crisis.
- The Worf Effect: After being the main villain during the reboot and most of the Christmas Comeback Crisis, Inspector Gadget takes the channel from him with minimal effort.
- The Voice: He is never given a proper physical appearance during the SiIvaGunner: Rebooted story arc. Eventually subverted with him appearing in the Christmas Comeback Crisis, though it wasn't entirely clear at first (see Ambiguously Human).

A clone of Inspector Gadget known as Gadgetini Clone 2.0 was created by President Haltmann to attack The Voice. Gadget succeeded in performing a Hostile Show Takeover of the channel, which lasted for two weeks. After that, Gadget broke down due to "DMCA violations", allowing Haltmann to take over the channel for himself.
On April Fools' Day 2018, the "SiIvaGunner" that had been running the channel since the beginning of Season 3 seemingly malfunctioned, revealing himself to be Inspector Gadget. The Nostalgia Critic immediately took a stand against this new Gadget, citing how repetitive the previous Gadget takeover was. On April 9th, Gadget gave up the channel after a battle with the Nostalgia Critic and several other YouTubers, thus leaving it open for The Nostalgia Critic's takeover.
- Catchphrase: Anything regarding "brown bricks" or "Minecrap."
- The Dragon: His ultimate role in Haltmann's scheme was to usurp the Voice's position as the one in control of the channel and eventually hand it over to Haltmann himself.
- Elmuh Fudd Syndwome: Very subtle, most notable when he says "Minecrap."
- Giant Space Flea from Nowhere: While he was a major in-joke amongst the SiIvaGunner backroom members and frequently referenced in the channel's liked videos, he didn't make a notable appearance directly on the channel until this rip
, which wasn't lore, but had high production value and predated Gadget Week by only three days.
- Hostile Show Takeover: Destroys The Voice's office and takes control of the channel.
- Final Battle: Your Best Nightmare (Alpha Mix)
seems to chronicle one between Gadget and the several YouTubers vying to take control of the channel; this battle is won by the Nostalgia Critic.
- Knight of Cerebus: Inverted; he takes over the channel from the much more serious and imposing Voice in a highly comedic manner, while The Voice himself is utterly powerless to stop him. He becomes more threatening during his second takeover in 2018, but not too much.
- Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: To The Voice.Gadget: You can shut up now. I'm always on duty!
- One-Winged Angel: The Final Battle in the alpha mix of "Your Best Nightmare" seems to imply he has such a form, given that his voice becomes very deep and distorted and that the rip itself is of the battle with Omega Flowey, likely one of the most infamous One Winged Angels in recent times.
- Read the Freaking Manual: "Go-Go Gadget Channel Description!"
- Screwed by the Lawyers: His in-universe fate. A DMCA from "Mark Timotei" makes him malfunction and shut down.
- Toilet Humor: "Brown bricks" is an obvious poop joke, albeit not a very good one.
- Uncertain Doom: What became of him after the Nostalgia Critic took over the channel during his second reign is currently unknown.
- Unexplained Recovery: Despite breaking down almost a year beforehand, he returns to take over the channel again in April 2018, with no explanation for how he came back (though it's implied that Gadget was disguised as SiIvaGunner the whole time after Haltmann relinquished control).
- Virgin-Shaming: In the "Minecraft with Gadget" video, Inspector Gadget is quick to assume that a person who built the starship Enterprise in Minecraft has never had sex.
- Voice of the Legion: Gains one prior to his final battle with the YouTubers.

The CEO and President of the Haltmann Works Company. His modus operandi is to invade a world, deplete its natural resources, and repeat. He takes over the channel after Inspector Gadget, whom he created to overthrow the Voice, malfunctioned due to DMCA violations. His ownership of the channel has been the status quo for the channel ever since, but at the start of Season 3 he created a SiIvaGunner clone to host the channel for him.
- Ascended Extra: The Haltmann Works Company leitmotif was mainly popular among Kirby fans, with most other people being indifferent. Then President Haltmann became the The Dragon of the Christmas Comeback Crisis and started showing up nearly every other rip, thanks to the sudden relevance. Considering that the other main leitmotif of the event, "Snow halation", was already one of the channel's major memes, Haltmann received a serious boost in presence.
- Corrupt Corporate Executive: He's the head of a gigantic company, and is a villain to boot. His stated reason for uploading "high quality rips" is because the higher the quality, the bigger the price he can fetch for selling the channel to an off-world buyer later."I'm sure the Galactic Federation or the Gogol Empire will pay very good money for a channel like this one..."
- The Dog Bites Back: After he got pissed at the Voice for lying to bring his daughter back, he created Inspector Gadget to overthrow the Voice. After Gadget broke down, he took the whole channel to himself.
- The Dragon:
- He is this to The Voice Inside Your Head during the Christmas Comeback Crisis. At first.
- Plays this straight in AMUNO Le Film, taking up the role of the final obstacle between AMUNO and Silvain/the Voice.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Loved his daughter, Susanna, and her death caused him to go insane in Planet Robobot. The Voice Inside Your Head has apparently promised that he'll bring Haltmann's daughter back in exchange for his services in Episode 2. He eventually did, but the "Susie" in question is actually Haruka in Susie's outfit. This caused Haltmann to lost his trust in the Voice.
- Hidden Villain: Before the Christmas Comeback Crisis, he hadn't made any appearances outside of his leitmotif.
- Mythology Gag: The way his theme song appears in various rips is identical to how it shows up in his game of origin, "invading" other songs while still maintaining the style of what it shows up in.
- Puppet King: He is ostensibly the president of Grandiose City, but it's quite clear that The Voice Inside Your Head is the one pulling all the strings. Averted when he takes over the channel with Gadget's help.
- Read the Freaking Manual: "Please read the channel description for glorious profit."
- Totally Radical: Exaggerated when he allowed rips featuring Crazy Frog - a meme which had come and gone a whole decade prior - to be uploaded to the channel.
- The Unfettered: The Softendo arc (see the B-list folder), which had taken place during his tenure as channel host, implied that he wasn't above sponsoring products that could actually harm their users in order to turn out greater profits.
- We Can Rule Together: In AMUNO Le Film, he offers ZVARRI a partnership in ruling the Internet and getting rich in exchange for his cooperation. He refuses and blows up Haltmann.

Chad Warden in an alternate timeline, who unlike the one from the canon timeline is closer to his actual real-life counterpart. We get a brief glimpse of what a channel run by him would look like to celebrate the anniversary of the Reboot arc.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Him wanting to bring back "Snow halation" here was all a front: once he made a deal with the Voice, he kills both it AND The Voice.
- Evil All Along: Instead of bringing back "Snow halation" in this universe, he kills both "Snow halation" AND The Voice. And eventually, he kills SiIvaGunner himself.
- Hero Killer: Kills SiIva himself in this universe.
- Jerkass: Unlike the Reboot arc Chad, he has no redeeming qualities. All he does is for his own selfish gain.
- Pre-Mortem One-Liner: "GUESS WHO'S WRONG?!"
- Read the Freaking Manual: Averted.
- Trademark Favorite Food: If the rips uploaded during his takeover are any indication, he really likes chicken & chips.
- Troll: Like his real-life counterpart.
- Artificial Intelligence: It is one.
- Not Quite Back to Normal: When it first appeared, it would often exhibit out-of-character robotic behavior, and glitches, hinting that it wasn't the real SiIva. For the most part, this was dropped after the Nostalgia Critic takeover.
- Status Quo Is God: The reason it exists is to restore the status quo of SiIvaGunner running the channel after Season 2 saw the channel being run by other characters, limiting what the channel could do.
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: During DJ Professor K's radio broadcast, it provides one of the bumpers, stating: "This is SiIvaGunner, the real one and totally not an AI."

The internet critic (played by Doug Walker) who remembers old (and often new) movies so you don't have to. When Inspector Gadget took over the channel again on April 1, 2018, he made a stand against the cyborg, stating that Gadget could really do some good for the channel, but wastes his power by only uploading rips referencing himself. On April 9th, Inspector Gadget left the channel for an unexplained reason, and The Nostalgia Critic promptly took over the channel. His takeover ended on April 15th with the channel being "rebooted" again, returning to the status quo of Season 3.
Notably, Nostalgia Critic's inclusion in the lore coincided with a major controversy surrounding his network, Channel Awesome, as several of its content creators came forward with their stories of abuse and apathy from the owners of the network.
- Absentee Actor/Advertised Extra: Exactly 2 of the 158 rips uploaded during his takeover relate to him: The third-to-last rip, where he has a brief cameo at the end, and the second-to-last rip, which is a mashup of "Snow halation" and his theme song. Though this is all justified by the fact that Critic took issue with Gadget's use of the Inspector Gadget theme in almost all his rips.
- Continuity Nod: Some rips during his takeover are references to older rips.
- Finger-Tenting: The channel's profile picture
during Critic's takeover has him mimicking Monika's use of this trope. It's not as innocent-looking on Critic though, as while Monika had a Held Gaze, Critic sports a knowing smirk.
- Hidden Villain: He is implied to be the reason behind the fake SiIvaGunner glitching out during the first two months of Season 3, but he never made an appearance on the channel until Inspector Gadget's second takeover.
- Hostile Show Takeover: In addition to usurping the spot of channel host, some rips have him blast through the video itself while his theme song plays.
- La Résistance: He tried to form one when Inspector Gadget returned, but his first potential recruit wasn't too enthusiastic.
- Missing Episode: Defied; his takeover included many reuploads of rips from the original GiIvaSunner channel.
- Nostalgia Filter: The Central Theme of Critic's takeover."We must all remember that while nostalgia is fun, we can't dwell on the past forever—and sometimes things aren't always as good as you remember them. But you should never forget your past - learn from it, appreciate the present, and move onto the future."— Triple-Q
- Read the Freaking Manual: "Read the channel description so I don't have to."
- Stealth Pun: His takeover harkens back to the old days of SiIvaGunner. In other words, it's about nostalgia.
- The profile picture. As mentioned above, content creators from Channel Awesome came forth with stories of mistreatment by the network. A common thread between several of the stories is that Channel Awesome exclusively promoted the Nostalgia Critic, acting like the other creators didn't exist. This explains the reference to Monika; it's parodying the scene where she has deleted all the other characters, and thus is the only person left for the player to pay attention to. Though this connection may not have been intentional.
- Stylistic Suck: As part of the "nostalgia", not every rip is up-to-par with the channel's usual standards and a lot of them have issues. IceCap Zone (Act 1) (JP Version)
from Sonic 3 & Knuckles certainly takes the cake, though, being a "Snow halation" mashup... that is completely unsynced.
- Stylistic Callback: Critic uses his takeover to take the channel back to its roots: A new rip every two hours (at least), with nearly every rip containing the Flintstones theme, and older, pre-reboot channel memes like Loud Nigra, Chip tha Ripper, and blue balls becoming common once again while newer ones are mostly absent.
- Very False Advertising: In his channel trailer
, he boasts about the channel having pornnote .

Winner of the King for a Day Tournament, where the SiIvaGunner audience voted from sixteen characters to determine what rips they would like to see for a day. Unregistered HyperCam 2 represents YouTube, more specifically, videos that were uploaded in the late 2000s, which were frequently recorded using unregistered versions of the HyperCam 2 recording software.
- Acronym and Abbreviation Overload: Uses loads of them in its dialogue.
- Artifact Domination: By the Crown before the final battle, turning him into "Unrestrained Hypercam 2".
- Cloudcuckoolander: Sometimes slips into this in the KfAD2 interviews.
- Cute Machines: Maybe not the cutest robot out there, but its expressionless face allows it to be cute despite King for a Day having a harsh and sketchy art style. It gets even cuter with the clean King for Another Day art style, along with the get-up it has as The Host.
- Dark Reprise: A more dramatic, dark mix of Dreamscape plays when Unrestrained Hypercam 2 enters the scene, titled "DREADSCAPE", which also mixes in the main theme "BE THE KING". The phase two version of the track, "NIGHTMARESCAPE", adds some breakbeats and the melody of "Plastic Love", referencing the musical styles of the tournament's finalists.
- Decomposite Character: Several contestants in the "King For Another Day" tournament have sources that overlap with the source list of Hypercam, if the rips made during its takeover are any indication. Such examples include Dr. Robotnik (representing most YouTube Poop), Nico Nico Douga (several NND memes have crossed over to YouTube, as Meowth points out), and Jack and Elmo (who specifically get YTP featuring Jack's "octagon" segment from Sesame Street).
- Disco Dan: HyperCam never quite caught up to the modern day, both technologically and mentally. It relies on 2000s equipment, acts as if Youtube's five star rating system never went out of use, and references a lot of that decade's memes. Even the two-year wait for its KfaD compilation album uses this trope as an excuse, since HyperCam took that long uploading it to LimeWire using an AOL connection (when, as Meowth mentions, it could have just used SiIvaGunner Studios' wi-fi).
- Distressed Dude: Got possessed by the champion's Crown for the final battle and was transformed into a Killer Robot called "Unrestrained Hypercam 2". It took the combined efforts of the finalists, DJ Professor K and Mariya Takeuchi, along with all the eliminated contestants to save him and defeat the evil crown, using the power of the MF Like Button.
- Final Boss: Of the King for Another Day tournament, albeit unwillingly. The Crown, having been sentient all this time, possesses Unregistered Hypercam 2, serving as as a boss for DJ Professor K, Mariya Takeuchi, the power of the MF Like button, and everyone else to take down.
- Funny Robot: Unsurprisingly, since it's an Affectionate Parody of late-2000s YouTube.
- Hidden Depths: It knows of MissingNo.'s existence before it revealed its true form, who tries to leave the King for Another Day tournament, and gives them a pep talk. This and its later interactions with MissingNo. show a surprising amount of empathy and emotional intelligence on HyperCam's part.
- The Host: Gets promoted to emcee status by John Notwoodman for King for Another Day. Notwoodman made a smart financial move, hiring a host who can both conduct and record interviews.
- Letters 2 Numbers: Also in its dialogue.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Refers to The Voice Inside Your Head as "a siiva character" instead of his actual role in the lore.
- Like Brother and Sister: By the end of KfAD2, HyperCam refers to Nico Nico Douga as its "[Japanese] sister." As representatives of YouTube and NND (and their audiences) respectively, they naturally have a few shared memes, and both exhibit some of the strange mannerisms of the services' users.
- Nice Hat: Wears one along with a bow tie as the host for King for Another Day
- Nostalgia Filter: In-Universe, Unregistered HyperCam 2 longs for the old days of YouTube and wishes to use its status as King for a Day to go back to the late-2000s era of the site.
- That said, a few quick moments in the KfAD2 interviews show HyperCam enjoying more recent YouTube videos and celebrities, including bill wurtz, in its downtime.
- No Waterproofing in the Future: HyperCam states that it's not waterproof when it's trying to convince Missingno. to come out of the river.
- Original Character: Unlike every other competitor, Unregistered HyperCam 2 is a screen-capturing program, not a character. The SiIvaGunner team created a robot character, loosely based on the software's icon, to use in the King for a Day Tournament.
- Please Subscribe to Our Channel: "don't forget to sub and rate 5 stars, thx for watching"
- Read the Freaking Manual: Averted.
- Retraux: Scheming Weasel
and Awesome Plan
are 8-bit covers.
- Sliding Scale of Robot Intelligence: Hovers in the gray area between levels 2 and 3. While HyperCam is sentient, sapient, and smarter than it appears, it's still somewhat childlike in mannerisms and a bit of a scatterbrain.
- Strange-Syntax Speaker: Speaks like a typical YouTube user of the era. During the tournament, its quotes against the other competitors frequently reference tutorials and Let's Plays that it is apparently hosting, or in some cases it just makes up a relevant video title.
- Surveillance Drone: Most likely, considering it's a camcorder. Several articles on the KfAD2 Mojo begin and/or end with HyperCam being prompted to start/stop recording, indicating that it is essentially the reader's point of view in these scenes.
- During MissingNo.'s first "interview," an unconscious HyperCam is unknowingly used as a tape recorder by Big Chungus as he describes the glitch picking off the other two members of the Cool Meme Team, before it comes back for him. The other two recordings, of Wobbuffet and Meowth respectively freaking out, might have also been taken by/through HyperCam. Regardless, both hosts come to after the madness ends, with no memory of what just happened and the tapes next to another cassette player.
- Thanking the Viewer: At the end of every rip description, and again in a comment on its last rip.
- The Knights Who Say "Squee!": It's a fan of Neil Cicierega and rushes to him at the rooftop of the Gaylord the moment it sees him... only to knock him off the ledge.
- Beware the Silly Ones: Thought The Grinch was just a Harmless Villain? Nope. He ruined the channel's Christmas and since he's owned by Sony Pictures, he's connected to Sony Music, the ones responsible for entire channel being removed from YouTube in January 2019
- Big Bad Wannabe: He tries to leak SiIvaGunner's information onto the channel, but he's not very good at it.
- Christmas Episode: Naturally, fills this role for 2018.
- Comically Missing the Point: Describes The Grinch (2018)'s mediocre reviews as if they're really good.
- Reality Ensues: When he returned to the channel for Christmas 2020 to promote an album of his rips
, his heart had grown three sizes from the last time he was there. His doctor considered it a grave abnormality and gave him a week to live.
- Stylistic Suck: The voice-acting and slideshow-esque presentation in his rips seemingly mock how leaks often aren't very well-made.

He came back with a vengeance in the King for Another Day tournament, adding all other games that have been published by SEGA (except the Puyo Puyo series and Sonic titles other than Sonic Rush) to his source list and subsequently blowing through the winners' bracket with ease and defeating finalists Law & Disorder and Mariya Takeuchi to secure himself as the champion of the tournament.
During his takeover day (which actually lasted a week), he held a livestream on the channel mimicking a radio broadcast, with commentary, bumpers, and commercials as well as all his rips (which were uploaded to the channel afterward).
- Action Dad: While he's busy sticking it to the man with his radio station, he's also a full time father. In this continuity, he's the father of the #JetSetSona mascot character DJ Doctor K, introduced during his channel takeover in 2020.
- Brought to You by the Letter "S": "K", in his case. It's in his name, and it's printed right on his forehead.
- Cool Old Guy: His appearance in King for Another Day has him use his design from Jet Set Radio Future, which has him looking much older than he did before. His interviews and character interactions nonetheless depict him as a cool, caring man who has nothing but respect for the other competitors in the tournament.
- Cool Shades: Wears big sunglasses in both of his designs.
- Dark and Troubled Past: According to his private conversation with Monokuma
, he grew up in a gang and is more than familiar with murder, which is why he defies Monokuma's insistance that A Real Man Is a Killer.
- The Gadfly: Like in his home game, he likes to playfully provoke his listeners. He's not above faking out people with memes or hyping up joke songs, and in-between the tracks he sometimes calls out specific people just because he can.
- Intergenerational Friendship: In King for Another Day, with Mariya Takeuchi's younger self. The two have nothing but respect for each other, and it shows in their battle dialogue.
- Funnily enough, however, theyre around the same age in the present day, but hes only ever met her younger self...at least until the end of K's takeover revealed they caught up in his present time.
- Large Ham Radio: The hammy announcer and head DJ of Jet Set Radio's titular radio station. When it came time for his takeover "day", we got to hear him ham it up in full.
- Older and Wiser: While it's generally assumed that both of his designs in Jet Set Radio are alternate continuities, here they're just him at different stages in life. By the time he's returned for the second tournament, he's learned a lot from his past mistakes and is a pretty wise guy for such a wisecracker.
- Phrase Catcher: While he may say it himself constantly, other characters have heavily associated him with the phrase "funky fresh beats", taken from Lethal League Blaze's "AIN'T NOTHIN' LIKE A FUNKY BEAT" track.note
- Respected by the Respected: In the hypothetical matchups video, his music is complimented by Paruko/Glenna, Popoy, Weird Al, Unregistered HyperCam 2 (possibly) and even Thanos.
- Sampling: A staple in Hideki Naganuma's style, and many original compositions have been made using this style.
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: Is disgusted by Monokuma's insistence that "everyone is a killer" and the bear's attempts to get Professor K to kill the mastermind behind him.
- That Came Out Wrong: Calls himself "King KKK" in a hypothetical victory against Dedede in the first tourney. Lampshaded when he said, "...Hey, what'chu lookin' at me like that for?"
- Old Shame: In the credits of his takeover, he admits that it was a pretty unfortunate tag name and looks on it with embarrassment.
- Took a Level in Badass: In the most dramatic way. Despite losing in the first round of the first King for a Day tournament, he came back with a vengeance and a rekindled fan following in the second tournament, winning all of his matches in the winner's bracket and becoming the champion.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Dr. Doofenshmirtz made his takeover intentions known during the Professor K Takeover in July 2020. Although he was thwarted there by Perry, he did eventually make good on his promise a little over a month later.
- Excrement Statement: Doofenshmirtz pissed on the second dimension.
- No Pronunciation Guide: Doofenshmirtz doesn't know if it's pronounced "Siiva" or "Silva".
- Weirdness Censor: As usual, Linda can't hear Phineas and Ferb's rip jokes.
Christmas Comeback Crisis characters

A character from Love Live! who represents the song "Snow halation". On the SiIvaGunner channel, she's usually depicted as a miniature version called "Smol Nozomi".
- Action Girl: In the Christmas Comeback Crisis, after aquiring the Smoltizer.
- Adaptational Villainy: Her AMUNO Le Film counterpart betrays the original Silvain, Loud Nigra, Robbie Rotten, and Grand Dad to the Voice and ultimately becomes a prostitute for AMUNO, which breaks her mind.
- A Day in the Limelight: Not too surprisingly, the channel's Christmas rips are dedicated to her. More surprisingly, this is because she's the only meme not kidnapped by The Voice when he invades.
- An Ice Person: Naturally, considering that her theme is called "Snow Halation". In the Pokémon FireRed hack, she is an Ice-type Pokémon with Ice attacks.
- Art Shift: A very downplayed example - the art used for her in the Christmas Comeback Crisis videos arranges her face to more resemble Kirby's. Fitting, since the arc is a Whole Plot Reference to Kirby: Planet Robobot.
- Back from the Dead: After seemingly dying alongside μ's and "Snow halation" after the events of the reboot, she is brought back to life thanks to the power of the MF LIKE BUTTON.
- The Cutie: She's youngest-looking meme with a cheery attitude.
- Decomposite Character: Usually her normal self and "Smol Nozomi" are the same person, but sometimes they're treated as two separate entities like in "Title Theme & Ending - 7 GRAND DAD".
- Driven to Suicide: Her (non-canon) appearance in "Menu - Garfield" (as an expy of Odie) has SiIva invoke the CG Rap to goad her into shooting herself.
- The Heart: She inspires the other memes and Chad to be happy.
- The Hero: She is this in the Christmas Comeback Crisis. Additionally, Chad Warden is this during the reboot because he defends "Snow halation" (and Nozomi herself couldn't do anything about it, since she was just a figment at that time).
- Heroic Mime: Doesn't speak at all in the Christmas Comeback Crisis, since she takes the role of Kirby. Otherwise averted, since she's a singer.
- Last of Her Kind: Presumably the last member of µ's alive, given that The Voice is stated to have literally dissolved the rest of the band, unless those deaths were indeed faked (or if Knuckles was killed instead of Maki).
- Mini-Mecha: Her Smoltizer, as she aquired it from a scouting robot whose the size is around an average human.
- Pokémon Speak: "Todokete" to some extent. Averted in the Christmas Comeback Crisis, where she's silent.
- Power Trio: Part of the channel's main meme trio (along with Grand Dad and Tito Dick), acting as The Hero and The Heart.
- Super-Deformed: Smol Nozomi is this for Nozomi.
- Token Mini-Moe: But of course! She's the cutest and tiniest member of the Power Trio.
- Voice of the Legion: In Swapnote's Main Theme
, her two lines are done by sentencing mixing "Snow halation", consequently giving her the voice of everyone in μ's at the same time.

A man having an extremely loud orgasm. He is unique in that rather than being associated with a song, his screams are sampled and used as a Running Gag.
- Audience Surrogate: In this "Snow halation" rip
that pretends to be a reupload of the first ever rip (since it wasn't uploaded to the SiIvaGunner channel yet at the time), Loud Nigra says "God damn it!" at the very end, referencing the community discourse caused by the "Snow halation" rips at the time.
- Badass Back: He's almost always shown with his back turned away from the audience. This is because his appearance is taken from a porn film, which obviously has to be censored for YouTube.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Is Dark-type in the Pokémon FireRed hack, but is very consistently one of the good guys.
- Demoted to Extra: Used to be a Part of the Power Trio along with Grand Dad and Nozomi, but his spot was taken by Tito Dick when it became clear that Loud Nigra was no longer used enough to be considered a main meme. Over time his appearances became even less frequent, to the point where now he hardly ever appears. This was eventually Defied by The Nostalgia Critic, whose takeover frequently featured Loud Nigra just like the old days of the channel, but this inevitably subsided once the takeover ended.
- Hidden Depths: In addition to screaming loudly, he apparently runs the store that SiIva buys his high quality ripping equipment from.
- I Am Not Shazam: The actual scream is from an unidentified porn actor with the nickname of "Big Ben", but it's commonly attributed to OG Mudbone.
- The Immodest Orgasm: A living embodiment of the trope. His scream while orgasming serves as a Running Gag.
- Intelligible Unintelligible: Only communicates by screaming, but the other characters can understand him just fine.
- Jump Scare: Many of his appearances, naturally.
- Make Me Wanna Shout: In the Pokémon FireRed hack, he is capable of using sound-based attacks, such as a variation of Hyper Voice.
- Naked People Are Funny: Fitting for a character who debuted in a pornography film, he never wears any clothes. Averted in the Dodo's Coming!!
rip, where he's fully clothed.
- No Indoor Voice: Mainly because he's constantly orgasming.
- Power Trio: Used to be a part of the trio, acting as The Big Guy.
- Shopkeeper: He runs the Nigra Store, where SiIva buys his high quality ripping material

- Balloon Belly: Reshiram's appearance in Pokémon Grand Dad (playing into Justin's vore fetish).
- Body Horror: Ju'Reshoggoth is a hideous fusion of Justin and Reshiram, with misshapen body parts and patches of skin that have bulging veins or are outright rotted off.
- Cloud Cuckoolander: Justin's fetish, obsession with Legendary Pokemon, and truly awful music made him a prime target for mockery even before GiIvaSunner used his material.
- Dreadful Musician: Justin is an awful singer, and his singing is used in Stylistic Suck rips.
- Eaten Alive: Justin has been shown to have an unhealthy fetish for being eaten by various Legendary Pokemon, especially Reshiram. In the Pokémon FireRed hack, he's actually inside of Reshiram's stomach. One of Reshiram's attacks in said hack is a variation of the "Crunch" move, fittingly called "Vore". This is also his fate at the hands of Reshiram before becoming Ju'Reshoggoth.
- Eye Scream: Ju'Reshoggoth gets stabbed in the eye with one of his own ribs, all in graphic detail.
- Fusion Dance: Justin gets devoured by Reshiram, then the Christmas Spirit they are submerged in turns them into the monstrous Ju'Reshoggoth.
- Inside Job: Justin was sent by The Voice Inside Your Head to devastate the pre-reboot universe.
- Instant Awesome: Just Add Dragons!: Reshiram is part Dragon-type, and can use Dragon Pulse in the Pokémon FireRed hack.
- Interspecies Romance: Justin repeatedly engages in sexual activities with Reshiram and is convinced he is married to her.
- Lightning Bruiser: Reshiram is a Legendary Pokémon with extremely high stats to match. She's also the second strongest member of The Voice Inside Your Head's team in the Pokémon FireRed hack.
- Mad Scientist: He perform experiments on both figments and humans while working with Christmas Spirit, and his goal is to create a Reshiram for him to marry.
- No Biological Sex: Subverted. While Reshiram is normally genderless, the one that Justin is specifically in love with is shown to be female.
- Olympus Mons: Reshiram is a Legendary Mon, acting as a member of the "Tao Duo" alongside Zekrom.
- Playing with Fire: Reshiram is part Fire-type, and in the Pokémon FireRed hack, she can use Sacred Fire. Ju'Reshoggoth is also capable of using both of Reshiram's signature moves, Fusion Flare and Blue Flare.
- Slasher Smile: Ju'Reshoggoth, made even worse by his exposed gums.
- You Are Already Dead: After getting shot in the chest with a Christmas Spirit-infused lump of coal, there's enough time for Ju'Reshoggoth to taunt Santa, and for Santa to reference the trope namer.

- Ax-Crazy: He seems very unhinged during An Acrimonious Assault, after manifesting the Christmas Spirit for himself.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: His Pokémon cry in the Pokémon FireRed hack."HOLY SHIT! I'M IN A GAME!"
- Butt-Monkey: He's frequently used as a source of Cringe Comedy.
- Designated Villain: In-Universe. He plays the role of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, in the "Il setimo grande padre" announcement video, and he plays Dio Brando in the "7 Stand Dad" announcement.
- No Indoor Voice: Naturally, as this is part of his usual reviewing style, so his soundclips tend to be very loud.
- The Power of Hate: In the "Il setimo grande padre" announcement video, he outright yells "fill me with the power of hatred", playing into his role as Ansem.
- Secret Identity: Dinkleberg.
- Time Master: As Dio in the "7 Stand Dad" album announcement, with the signature "ZA WARUDO" becoming "FOUR HOURS!"

- Back from the Dead/Back for the Dead: After dying twice, returns from the death in the Christmas Comeback Crisis he dies again when his spider mecha explodes in the same episode.
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: Pilots a spider mecha in Advent of Hell.
- Disney Death He was shot and killed in The Final Battle - Nathaniel Welchert's Christmas Adventure
, but returned again working for The Voice in Advent of Hell.
- FaceHeel Turn: Was originally a good boy and even a Messianic Archetype, but he later joined forces with the Voice and tried to destroy anime and Christmas.
- Fetish: Cute Monster Girls — specifically, ones that look like spiders. Although he hates Muffet from Undertale.
- Hell of a Time: While he went to Hell, he enjoys the experience due to the fact that there are a lot of spider girls down there.
- Humongous Mecha: In reference to his YouTube handle being PorkyTheKing, he pilots a titanic spider mecha.
- Parental Abandonment: His mother left him for some reason.
- Stylistic Suck:
- The running joke with Nathaniel pre-Crisis was that all of the rips involving him were just his name being repeated over and over again, badly sung to the tune of whatever was being ripped.
- During the Crisis, he has several long-winded rants that are explained through an odd and outright annoying text-to-speech voice that he uses to amuse himself with.
- Unexplained Recovery: Came Back from the Dead after being Coconut Gunned without any explanation. And then the same thing happened a second time.

- Alliterative Name: Robbie Rotten
- Arc Number: Number 1, natch.
- Author's Saving Throw: Invoked, since he was introduced in this rip
, soon after the discourse that Green de la Bean and the 9/11 rips had created. By the time Slider (Number One Mix)
came out (confirming his song as a meme), there were comments clamoring for more.
- Breakout Character: Robbie's song "We Are Number One" became an Internet sensation in the latter half of 2016, and Robbie's been embraced by the Internet as one of its favorite memes.
- Dastardly Whiplash: His behavior definitely fits the definition of the trope. The only thing missing is a mustache and a top hat.
- Does Not Like Spam: Despises eating vegetables. He immediately spits out Wood Man's "steamed beans", and isn't very amused when Wood Man turns himself into Pickle Woodman.
- Dressed to Plunder: On September 19, 2016note , he appeared on the channel banner in his pirate disguise.
- Edutainment Game: Robbie has been in one of these before, which he points out while questioning Wood Man's lies in "Wood Man & Robbie Rotten".
- Failure Montage: The entire point of "We Are Number One" is that Robbie and his three lookalike goons repeatedly fail in their villainous attempts, sometimes before their target even shows up.
- Master of Disguise: During the Christmas Comeback Crisis, he disguises himself as one of the Voice's guards in order to escape after being captured. Not to mention his song all about it
from LazyTown.
- Villain Song: But of course! "We Are Number One" is one of Robbie's various villainous tunes.
- Villainous Friendship: Becomes friends with Wood Man so that he can capture superheroes.

- Cloudcuckoolander: Barkley. Even after the FaceHeel Turn, though not as much.
- Fanwork Ban:
- "S.L.A.B. Freestyle"
- "Space Jam", except for songs that aren't in 4/4 time.
- Foreshadowing: Did you notice that Charles Buckley was a basketball player, not a rapper?
- Improbable Weapon User: Barkley uses a pair of basketballs as his weapons.
- Katanas Are Just Better: Episode 9 reveals that Soulja Boy owns a katana, due to his love for anime.
- Noodle Incident: During An Acrimonious Assault, judging from Snoop's line before he kills Angry Joe below, Biggie Smalls was a part of the Union before Joe killed him for reasons unknown.
- Pokémon Speak: Barkley's dialogue, until the reveal, consists only of "SLAM!" and "JAM!".
- Pre-Mortem One-Liner: Snoop says one to Angry Joe before he kills him.
- Parrot Exposition: When Parappa the Rapper speaks, he repeats the entire previous line of dialogue, only from his point-of-view, similar to his game of origin.
- Red Herring: Parappa is introduced after the existence of The Mole in the Rappers's Union is revealed, implying that he is said Mole. However, it turns that Barkley is actually the Mole in the Union, and Parappa is killed during Barkley's attack.
- Scary Black Man: Snoop Dogg. The others... not so much.
- Stylistic Suck: Rips with "Space Jam" are more often than not an example of this. This plays into Barkley's character, as his attack features him bouncing two basketballs at different tempos.
- The Mole: In Episode 8, we find out that someone in the Union is working for The Voice. The next episode reveals that it's Charles Barkley.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: Snoop, again.
- Uncertain Doom: It's unknown whether or not Barkley is alive after he gets sucked into the Kazoo Master's portal.
- Walking Spoiler: Barkley, after the reveal.

- Berserk Button: Insulting his kazoo.
- Blood Knight: Claims to be looking for the strongest warrior when he arrives, and he's rather pleased when Soulja Boy gives him an even fight.
- Composite Character: On top of representing the kazoo rips and their creator, Fvida Auron, the Kazoo Master takes a lot of elements from AMUNO. AMUNO's scream can even be heard right before the Kazoo Master comes out of his portal.
- Defeat by Modesty: He conceded defeat after Soulja Boy destroyed his cloak.
- Graceful Loser: Compliments Soulja Boy on his skills after he loses, promising to meet him again.
- Gratuitous French: Peppers several French words and phrases into his speech.
- Improbable Weapon User: Wields a giant Kazoo as his main weapon, and he also has a normal sized kazoo that shoots lightning.
- All There in the Manual: Reader's name (Nutshackwoodman34) is only given to us by his Fanfiction.net account.
- Ascended Fanon: In-Universe. Both "The Lost Episode" and "Unusual Circumstances" were uploaded
to FanFiction.Net before the videos premiered on the channel. However, Meowth describes the events of "Unusual Circumstances" as real and expresses confusion when Reader and Jerome describe it as fiction. This is especially odd since some parts of that story contradict canon.
- Lampshade Hanging: In his appearance in The Stinger of the 2019 Halloween Episode, he points out how his fanfic was invalidated by the what just transpired in the video, and also that John Notwoodman having a stache of Halloween rips dating back to 2017 is odd since he was only inroduced as a character in 2018.
- Literal Metaphor: Reader describes Jerome as his "best bro and actual brother".
- Narrator: Reader, as the name implies. Also Played With when they show up in the 2019 Halloween Episode, as during Jerome's dialogue, there's an easy-to-miss "said Jerome".
- Outdated by Canon: In-Universe example, also Zig-Zagged. Reader portrayed Wood Man and John Notwoodman as the same character in "Unusual Circumstances", but then several months later, the 2019 Halloween Episode established them as separate characters. Reader Lampshade Hangs this when he appears in The Stinger, stating that it invalidates his fic. But then in his next appearance, Meowth describes the fic as canon.
- Self-Insert Fic: "The Lost Episode" stars Reader.

- Dysfunctional Family: Wade is addicted to Xanax and cocaine and cannot make time for other obligations, his wife Wanda is, understandably, cracking under the pressure, and Jimmy is terminally ill.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Is killed holding off Haltmann's police workers in order for 2B to escape. The final trace of his existence is a voicemail collected by the company, addressed to him from his son Jimmy, telling him that his final moments did not go unnoticed, and that Jimmy knew what his father was going through the entire way through.
- Parents as People: On the surface, Wade and his wife seem like horrible people, for different reasons. Working for a hellhole company and/or having to watch as that happens while juggling the rest of your life will do things to you.
- Punny Name: His full name is a pun on his species, "Waddle Dee". Also doubles as a Significant Anagram, as "Wade L.D." is an anagram of the word "waddle".
- The Man Behind the Man: Designed Gadgetini 2.0 and kickstarted the chain of events that would lead to the AIRTH project, which is now controlling the channel.
- So Proud of You: The final log obtained from the L.D. family is a voicemail sent by Jimmy, telling Wade that his last stand was actually pretty cool and that they'll see each other again on the other side.
AMUNO Le Film characters

- A Day in the Limelight: Stars in his own "Le Film" as the Season 2 finale.
- Author Appeal: Nintendo (primarily Mario), Undertale, and Naruto are frequently used in his videos.
- Gratuitous French: Every single video by him is in French, and not all of them have English subtitles.
- Intentional Engrish for Funny: The English subtitles on his videos are very poorly-translated and full of typos - but also convey how incoherent and trashy the original French dialogue is.
- Invincible Hero: In Le Film, he defeats every enemy with ease and is never injured, even after being shot from point-blank range.
- Mind Screw: His videos are very peculiar, to say the least.
- Piss Take Rap: His "Epic Pixel Battle" videos.
- Precision F-Strike: There are several cases of this in the videos.
- Stylistic Suck: All of the characters shown in videos are artwork with a white box background or drawn in MS Paint. The backgrounds are often stock images.
- Sensory Abuse: When AMUNO screams, he screams.
- Widget Series: All of AMUNO's videos handily qualify for WTF due to their nigh-incomprehensible nature and references to obscure corners of French urban and pop culture.

- Beleaguered Assistant: He is treated like crap by AMUNO.
- Butt-Monkey: Really goes through a lot of shit, most of the time because of AMUNO.
- Only Sane Man: He balances out the insanity of AMUNO and the other NPCs.
- Non-Standard Character Design: The only sprite-based character in the AMUNO Le Film, where everybody else is a Stylistic Suck drawing.
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair: Due to his avatar being Hector.
King For a Day Tournament Characters
(Note: Winners are in Channel Hosts; the hypothetical matchups refer to this video

Competitors Debuting in KfaD

Finalist, having lost to Unregistered HyperCam 2. Off the Hook is a pop duo based in Inkopolis formed by an Inkling named Pearl and an Octoling named Marina. Joining them is a sea anemone named Paruko (or Glennanote ) who serves as the lead member to a contemporary band, the Chirpy Chips. They bring rips from the Splatoon games to the table. In the second tourney, they now have arrangements in the Splatoon style and God of ink (which is definitely from Splatoon 2).
- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Paruko never keeps attention in everything because she was so hooked up on her Gameboy.
- Catchphrase: "Don't get cooked... Stay off the hook!"
- Curb-Stomp Battle: They were the runner up in the first tourney, only behind Hypercam... and became one of the first competitors eliminated in the second after losing to King Dedede in the first round and then to Mariya at the Loser's Bracket. Understandably, their loss hit them hard.
- Gamer Chick: Paruko always has a Gameboy in hand in the second tournament.
- Insult Friendly Fire: In a hypothetical victory against Pitbull, Paruko calls him "overrated mainstream garbo" before doing a Verbal Backspace, since her teammates are also a mainstream pop duo (in their home game).
- Stage Name: "Glenna Nalira" was this for Paruko in the first tournament, but she has since decided to drop that and use her real name.
- Token Heroic Orc: Prior to the Octo Expansion update in their home game, Marina was the only known friendly Octoling.
- The Knights Who Say "Squee!":
- Paruko is apparently a fan of DJ Professor K and asks for his signature in their hypothetical matchup.
- Pearl loves Maroon 5 as a Guilty Pleasure and similarly asks for an autograph from Adam Levine when she sees him in the Round 1 Losers support group. (She gets it.)

Semifinalist, having lost to Off the Hook. President of Nintendo's America branch, Reggie Fils-Aime serves as the spokesman for the gaming company's overseas endeavors. Reggie is well-regarded by the gaming community as a never-ending supply of memetic phrases and in this tournament represents Nintendo as a whole rather than a single specific franchise... oh, and Fortnite, too. He teams up with Bill Trinen in King for Another Day, forming the duo "Nintendo Power".
- Big Fun: Although not fat per se, Reggie does have a sizable build.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Reggie dons a blue suit and Bill dons a red one, reflecting the Switch's main colors for the King for Another Day tournament.
- Power Fist: In his character art for the first tournament, he wears brass knuckles... made out of Nintendo GameCubes.
- Sharp-Dressed Man: Wears suits in both of his appearances.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: a couple entries on the Mojo were written as Reggie's real-life counterpart was presenting on the Game Awards at that time.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Donuts for Bill.

Kirby's rival, and brings forth rips from the series as his sources. Semifinalist, having lost to Unregistered HyperCam 2.
- Big Eater: Nearly as much of a glutton as Kirby, if not moreso, eating most anything and everything. His lack of pickiness on food lets him even enjoy Papyrus' cooking!
- Butt-Monkey: Escargoon appears, and almost always get hit by Dedede.
- Composite Character: He primarily has rips from the games, but seems to have his personality taken from Kirby: Right Back at Ya!.
- Cool Mask: Wears his mask as Masked Dedede in the King for Another Day Tournament.
- Drop the Hammer: His trademark. It even comes with a built-in jet turbine for extra oomph.
- Those Two Guys: Never seen without Escargoon in the second tourney.
- Morality Chain: Escargoon tries his best to restrain Dedede's less savory activities and reminds him of the frailty of the human physique when he tries to attack Weird Al.

Wario & Waluigi, this duo brings in games from the Wario series including WarioWare, Mario sports games, as well as Mario spin-offs excluding RPGs. Round 2 competitors, having lost to Off the Hook.
- Badass Biker: Their appearances in the second tournament invoke this trope. Wario basically dons his WarioWare getup, while Waluigi wears an outfit that's in a similar style.
- Butt-Monkey: Waluigi gets this treatment in his home franchise.
- Drives Like Crazy: Count Cannoli accidentally runs over Mr. Bean after he was released from the hospital because he was looking at Discord while driving his Mad Hat.
- Fat and Skinny: Wario is the fat, Waluigi is the skinny.
- Greed: Wario would go to hell and back if it meant grabbing even a single coin. Marina references his greed after beating him.
- Nominal Hero: With a tinge of Jerk with a Heart of Gold. Due to their lack of actual villainy as of late and Wario's occasional bouts of greed-tinged heroism, KO's POW cards give them both a Hero Level of 6.
- Those Two Guys

Round 2 competitor, having lost to Reggie. Hailing from the moon Titan, Thanos has an obsession with Mistress Death and wishes to kill off half the universe to win her heart. In the tournament, Thanos represents the Marvel vs. Capcom series and other Marvel Comics-based spinoffs, in addition to Fortnite due to his appearance in that game. In King for Another Day, he swaps out Fortnite for rips from Disney animated movies and Star Wars.
- Badass Fingersnap: It's said that he could wipe out half the universe with one snap of his fingers at his Infinity Gauntlet's fullest power, and he does just this in his starring role in the Marvel films. He manages to use one of these snaps just once on a single target.
- Celebrity Endorsement: As a tongue-in-cheek nod of Disney's acquisition of Marvel, Thanos almost always mentions his affilations with Disney and considers having the company buy the tournament out in the second tournament.
- Dark Reprise: His victory theme in King for Another Day contains one of "When You Wish Upon A Star".
- Nice Hat: Dons a Mickey Mouse hat for his appearance in the King for Another Day Tournament.
- Power Fist: His Infinity Gauntlet, which he is depicted wearing with all six Infinity Gems socketed in his art for the tournament.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: His KfAD2 getup has him dressed in a full Mickey Mouse outfit, which naturally doesn't have a shirt.
- Worthy Opponent: Says this about DJ Professor K in a hypothetical victory against him for the first tournament, and later, to Metal Ajit Pai in the second.

- all lowercase letters: The Reimu fumo's lines are written like this, although she slips into proper capitalization sometimes.
- Bilingual Bonus: Slips into Japanese in his match-up against Mariya Takeuchi.
- Blow That Horn: His buffs include rips with prominent horns, which are also prominent in his compositions for Touhou.
- Companion Cube: The Reimu fumofumo doll in his KfAD2 getup, as they didn't cover the real Reimu's travel expenses. It is indeed alive, as Meowth and Hypercam find out on their lunch break, though ZUN seems unaware of this quality of her until the after-party.
- Deadpan Snarker: The Reimu fumo, much like her real counterpart.
- Drunken Master: Regarded as a masterful musician and is never seen without a bottle of alcohol at his side. Heck, he even has "Rips related to alcohol" as a source!
- Defeat Equals Friendship: According to the Mojo, he strongly believes that just because someone is your opponent now, that doesn't mean they will always be, and he holds no hard feelings towards his past opponents. This is also something very prominent in the Touhou series.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: The Reimu fumo questions how ZUN's laughs are written."ok fair, but I gotta ask: Why do you keep saying *laughs* like that?"

- The Bus Came Back: After the end of the tournament, a rip of Lifelight featuring him was uploaded
complete with an updated KFAD2 style portrait in tribute to him due to his real-life counterpart's tragic passing earlier that year.
- Non-Gameplay Elimination: While he was originally intended to be in a tag-team with Reggie in the King for Another Day tournament, SiIvaGunner's team removed his character due to recent events regarding the actual Etika's mental state.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: Excluded from the second tournament as his real-life counterpart was going through a mental health crisis, and the team felt it would bring unwanted attention to him and possibly be in poor taste to include him.

- Graceful Loser:
- Has nothing but respect for Weird Al after losing to him in King For Another Day.
- He also tells Bill Trinen that he's fine not being playable in any Super Smash Bros. game and that he is satisfied simply being a mii costume in for 3DS/Wii U, then a spirit in Ultimate, though he does admit that he wishes that Sheik didn't represent him as a spirit since she can't use anything similar to Geno's hand gun.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Doesn't recognize Wario when battling him in the first tourney, seeing as Wario didn't exist at the time of Super Mario RPG.

Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, bringing forth rips from the games, rips related to stealth and boxes, and later in King for Another Day, rips featuring all works from Hideo Kojima. Round 1 competitor, having lost to Off the Hook.
- Badass Longcoat: He dons Gillian Seed's trenchcoat in KFAD2, stressing his representation of all of Kojima's works and not just his own series. Humorously, there's a cutout on the back of the coat to show his butt as shown in his pre-release artwork.
- Female Gaze: His butt was heavily pronounced on his character art for the first tournament. His getup for the second tournament has a hole cut out in place for his butt, as KO's POW Card illustration shows.
- Hit Me, Dammit!: He apologizes to Hakuko for accidentally punching Don-chan by letting her have a free shot at him, knocking him out cold.
- Out of Focus: He's the veteran with the least amount of promotional rips for King for Another Day, and ties with Eminem for the least amount of rips overall, though it's downplayed due to being one of the more prominent characters on the Mojo.
- Poor Communication Kills: His fallout with the Rhythm Masters was caused by his poor justification for accidentally attacking Don-chan after his loss against them in the Loser's Bracket. Even when they made up after the tournament, Snake still had difficulty explaining his way to apologize to Hakuko.
- Supersoldier: Solid Snake is a genetic clone of Big Boss - who is widely regarded as one of these - and he definitely takes after his biological father.

- Asshole Victim: No one on the internet likes him, thus, there are many comments saying he deserved to be snapped out of existence.
- Bad Santa: Not exactly a well-liked person among netizens (which is all we'll get into), and wears a Santa outfit as a reference to his infamous "7 Things You Can Do Without Net Neutrality " video.
- BFG: Wields a large Nerf rifle, which gets upgraded into an even larger form as Metal Ajit Pai.
- Deader Than Dead: Gets completely disintegrated by Thanos after losing to him by 50% of the vote and is effectively unpersoned from the event in the Twitter updates. Pai is the only competitor to not show up in the final character shots at the end of Unregistered HyperCam 2's victory video.
- Not Quite Dead: His inclusion in KfAD2 explained that he actually survived Thanos' snap, albeit reducing him to a sentient pile of dust.
- Hook Hand: Has one, except it's replaced with a fidget spinner.
- Humongous Mecha: His new design in King for Another Day.
- Lame Pun Reaction: "(Pai wanted to call himself "The Harlem Shakeover" but this name was denied by tournament staff.)
"
- Joke Character: Seemed to be treated as this by the SiIvaGunner backroom and the fanbase, with his only promos being half-hearted at best. The final insult comes from being the only character to not be present in the final character shots, having been on the receiving end of one of Thanos's finger-snaps. Averted in the sequel: Ajit is now a serious character.
- Scare Quotes: His lone promotional rip in the first tournament has a pair in the description:"""Arrangement""": SmokyThrill77
- Serious Business: Fought the the Gurren Lagann team over the last piece of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
- Took a Level in Badass: Is resurrected as a Humongous Mecha called Metal Ajit Pai in the second tournament and scored at least one victory, that was against Adam Levine in the Loser's Bracket.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
- The Worf Effect: Despite his transition to Metal Ajit Pai, he was beaten by Nico Nico and Wario Partners, LLP in the King for Another Day Tournament.
- Worthy Opponent: Initially resents Thanos for reducing him to dust, but eventually settle their differences afterwards because of their shared interest of old internet memes and thanking Thanos for giving him a new body.

- Aerith and Bob: They consist of Popoy, Marcianito, and... Howard.
- Amusing Alien: Given that all three originate from humorous music memes, this is expected.
- Alien Autopsy: Inverted in a hypothetical victory against Off the Hook.Howard: THE INVERTEBRATES HAVE BEEN TERMINATED. PREPARE THEM FOR DISSECTION.
- Anal Probing: Implied when they went up against Reggie in the first tournament. Popoy asks for Reggie's ass since his body is ready.
- Benevolent Alien Invasion: Despite wanting to Take Over the World, they do not want to destroy humanity, and are only here to dancenote . This is why Howard left the team to join Will Smith, forming the Men in Black.
- Bilingual Bonus: Popoy and Marcianito speak exclusively in Spanish in the first tournament. Marcianito even originates from a Spanish meme.
- Breaking the Fellowship: They split up after the first tournament due to differing views, and joined with both Will Smith and Pitbull to form two new teams for the second tournament.
- Caps Lock: Howard speaks exclusively in this manner. Marcianito also slips into this in a hypothetical matchup against Unregistered HyperCam 2.
- Crossover: This is the only team of characters competing that were not already part of the same canon (unless you count Popoy and Howard both belonging to viral 2018 memes). The team character bio is something of an original narrative by the SiIvaGunner team to unify the three memes.
- Dance Sensation: They sway millions into copying their dance moves, taking advantage of human fascination with aliens. Popoy especially, as he represents "Dame tu Cosita", likely the most infamous Dance Sensation of 2018.
- Exposed Extraterrestrials: All of them are nude. Somewhat averted in the King for Another Day tournament with Howard wearing a tie and Cool Shades.
- Gratuitous Spanish: Popoy and Marcianato both originate from Spanish music videos and as such speak exclusively in Spanish in the first tournament. This winds up being downplayed for Popoy and dropped altogether for Marcianito come KFAD2. The unused dialogue reveals that the only reason it was dropped was because the team was eliminated before Marcianito got a chance.
- The Greys: Howard is this kind of alien. The team in general exhibits typical behavior for this alien type.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Popoy developed this and a much more foul mouth as a result of losing early into KFAD1 and transitions into damn near Unstoppable Rage after the team's first loss and elimination. He doesn't calm down until after the Dancing Alien Team bury the hatchet and reform.
- The Heart: Marcianito is perhaps the most emotionally stable of the aliens, acting as a balance to the two others. As shown by the unused dialogue he would've also reigned Popoy in when he got too rude... or too affectionate as this unused Vs. Maria Takeuchi line shows.
- Popoy: ¡Ey, dame un poco de esa cosita japonesa! (Hey, give me some of that little Japanese thing!)Marcianito: popoy por favor (popoy please)
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: As proven by the POW Card KO collected of him, despite his foul temper and rude personality Popoy has a Hero Level of 1, the same as characters like Geno and Quote, meaning he's at least on the side of good.
- Little Green Men: Popoy and Marcianito are this kind of alien, Marcianito moreso.
- Lovable Sex Maniac: Likely due to the phallic motions of his memetic dance, Popoy is a bit of a horndog. Things like "species barriers" are no object to him either.
- Meaningful Name: "Marcianito" is Spanish for "little martian".
- Only Sane Man: Marcianito is a Downplayed example. The beef that caused the Dancing Alien Team to split up was between Popoy and Howard, so Marcianito has no stake in it and answers in the affirmative when asked if he'd want to work with Howard again. His indifference to their beef is what allows Howard and Popoy to finally bury the hatchet and reunite the Dancing Alien Team.
- Pokémon Speak: For the second tournament, downplayed in Marcianito's case. He did get to say something in the match-up against Solid Snake, but his appearances on the MOJO!! has him only speaking the words "ayy lmao" and "yeah".
- The Quiet One: Howard during the first tournament. In the hypothetical matchups video, he has only four lines of dialogue (and one is just an ellipsis) with Popoy and Marcianito providing the rest of the team's dialogue.
- Take Over the World: Sometimes stated to be a goal of theirs. They also take over Pop Star in a hypothetical victory against King Dedede.

Mr. Worldwide himself, bringing forth rips featuring his own songs and Latin-American music into his sources. Round 1 competitor, having lost to ZUN. He teams up with Popoy and Marcianito in the second tournament due to the prior's collaboration in an official music video of Pitbull, and together they add a combined new Latin flair to their sources.
- Motor Mouth: He talks A LOT.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: Sure enough, the real Pitbull went on to make a cover of Dame Tu Cosita, featuring Popoy in the music video, after the first tournament. This nicely sets up them forming a team in the second tournament, with Marcianito added in to complete the theme of Latin-American music.
- The Pollyanna: Despite being one of the first eliminated in both tournaments, he seems to not take any loss personally, and views the experience as a low-stress experiment with new audiences and to have fun while doing it. He shares this sentiment to Adam Levine, who frankly just didn't want to be in the tournament at all.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air himself, Will Smith. He brings in rips related to his music and acting career, as well as the YTP series Fesh Pince of Blair. Round 1 competitor, having lost to Unregistered HyperCam 2. He teams up with Howard from the Dancing Alien Team in the second tournament while donning his Agent J persona, becoming the new team "Men in Black", adding new sources to his list.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: In the first tournament, Will was on the receiving end of one from Unregistered Hypercam 2.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: As Agent J, Will has a standard issue Men in Black Neuralizer to quickly remove the memories of those who saw too much. He uses this at the end of his interview on Meowth and Hypercam, after he got a little too reckless when chatting about sensitive information.
- 10-Minute Retirement: Is about to have Howard neuralize him to go back to being just Will Smith, but they are distracted by the rest of the Dancing Aliens and he decided he can do it later.

The most famous parody musician, "Weird Al" Yankovic was the very first person eliminated in the first tournament. With the determination to win the second, he conjured 「BEAT IT」, a stand or so it seemed that gave him the musical library of Michael Jackson, as well as changing his appearance to what he looked like back in The '80s.
- Arc Number: 27. Prominent in his music and the reason he picked his hotel room number in the Gaylord, as well as the score given to HOBaRT's spaghetti.
- Badass Back: 「BEAT IT」's art shows him standing with his back to the camera, and with Weird Al, the two make for a formidable contender in the KFAD2 tournament.
- Foreshadowing: Despite being promoted to have a Stand in the second tournament, he didn't have access to JoJo-related music in his source list note . Additionally, while in JoJo canon, only Stand users can see Stands, other characters in the tournament (such as Mariya Takeuchi, if her victory quote against Al is any indication) could see 「BEAT IT」. After Al's elimination at Mariya's hands, the Mojo revealed that 「BEAT IT」 was not a Stand at all, but Michael Jackson's actual spirit.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Eminem and Mr. Krabs learn the hard way when the frilled panties they stole in "The Panty Raid" were Weird Al's.
- Speaks in Shout-Outs: 「BEAT IT」's first speaking occurance has him speak entirely in the lyrics of Michael Jackson's music.
- Spirit Advisor: 「BEAT IT」 is revealed to be not a Stand but Michael Jackson's spirit, who helps Weird Al come to terms with his elimination before moving on to the other side.
- Took a Level in Badass: Both in his character art, which now depicts him as a Stand user, and his performance in the King for Another Day tournament, where he managed to make it into the final eight of the tournament before being eliminated by Mariya Takeuchi.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: His promotional rips weren't uploaded to the channel until after he lost his round in the first King for a Day tournament.
Competitors debuting in KfAD2

- Bilingual Bonus: Being Japanese herself, she slips into her native language in some match-ups.
- Book-Ends: She lost both the very first match of the King for Another Day tournament as well as the very last match.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Every single match she was in on her trek through Losers' Bracket was this in her favor. She even outlasted Jack Bros, who put her there!
- Deliberately Monochrome: Described as black & white in the interviews. However in her art, she's monochromatically purple.
- The Final Temptation: A less-serious example, but she is on the receiving end of MissingNo.'s attempt to get her to throw the tournament in return for having her powers fully explained by it. She declines.
- Fish out of Temporal Water: Was brought into the tournament from the past. While she is immediately got used to it, she wonders why did she wind up in the present in the first place.
- Heroic Second Wind: In the first match of her first round, she lost to Jack Bros... but throughout the entirety of the Losers' Bracket she dominated the matches, and achieved a victory against MissingNo. (who was in a similar scenario) in the finals, ultimately securing the position of runner-up in the tournament.
- Innocently Insensitive: One of her unused lines against Nico Nico has her admit that she likes YouTube better as a streaming platform. As Nico Nico is the personification of Nico Nico Douga itself, the admission is tantamount to insulting her very existence.
- Intergenerational Friendship: With DJ Professor K. The two show nothing but respect for each other, and it shows in their battle dialogue.
- Nice Girl: Is very respectful towards the contestants, even brushed off MissingNo.'s threat with a compliment. The only time she expressed disgust was the match against Wario Partners, LLP.Mariya: "何にの人たち、こんなに失礼な人初めて見たわ!"Translation
- Plot-Relevant Age-Up: Inverted; Mariya has been aged down so she could better resemble her appearance on the "Plastic Love" cover. Justified as she was brought into the tournament from the past.
- Reality Warper: As MissingNo. reveals, much like her music can supposedly manipulate the YouTube algorithm to be recommended years after release, she has the ability to "manipulate the algorithm of reality". However, she has no idea how to use these supposed powers.
- Worthy Opponent: Often speaks to much of her competition with respect as fellow artists. Professor K, in turn, sees her as someone who was perfectly capable of taking the tournament and somewhat wished she won.

- Break the Haughty: Monokuma is on the receiving end of this trope thanks to DJ Professor K, who demonstrates that he doesn't care about Monokuma's self-enforced rivalry and refuses to be an example of his Humans Are Murderous belief.
- Crossover: One of two newcomer teams to be a crossover between series, the other being Rhythm Masters.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: This personified. The only time in their entire uninterrupted through Winners' bracket they didn't break 1,000 was against Weird Al, where they still won by a quite wide margin. Even their battle against DJ Professor K, where they lost, was hard-fought.
- Order vs. Chaos: They could not fit this dynamic any better, considering that Phoenix is an official defense attorney who fights to get his clients declared innocent through courts of law, while Monokuma is a maniacal teddy bear designed to spread despair by arranging students into killing games. The main thing that ties these two together is their use of court trials in both of their games.
- Out of Focus: Between the two members of the team, Phoenix is often left to the sidelines in the context of the MOJO!!, as Monokuma has had several solo interviews where he takes charge, and has personally created a rivalry between himself and DJ Professor K, a dynamic he describes as "the protagonist vs the handsome villain and his henchman of truth." Wright obviously doesn't take well to his position in this dynamic.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Monokuma is the manic counterpart to Phoenix's comparatively more subdued personality.

- Afraid of Their Own Strength: It was reluctant to join the tournament and tries to leave during the event, as it's aware that its powers could potentially destroy the entire event.
- Apologises a Lot: If even the slightest thing goes wrong as a result of MissingNo.'s actions, it won't hesitate to apologize.
- Guilt Complex: Goes as far as to blame itself for meta errors that occurred early on in the event, even if they were never proven to be its doing.
- Dark Is Not Evil: While it does project Creepypasta-like imagery and sometimes takes trashtalking a little too far, it is very far from malevolent.Hypercam: ur not a murdrer bro ur js spoky
- Dummied Out: It gets this trope as part of its source list.
- Evil Laugh: Its victory theme contains Kefka Palazzo's, infamously known as Sonic.exe's laugh.
- Lethal Chef: Played with: While serving as HOBaRT's apprentice in the kitchen, it has created creepy pasta and glitch-coated knishes. It actually turns out to be perfectly fine food, if you don't mind the hallucinogenic aftertaste.
- Painting the Medium: Its page on the Mojo Website
is filled with coding errors and glitched text. The same applies to most "interviews" it becomes involved with across the site.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Causes havoc everywhere it goes.
- Reality Warper: Corrupted several interviews, gave HOBaRT a voice, cast several contestants in the opening scene of The Dark Knight Rises and even brought Mariya back through time. And that's just the beginning.
- Shapeshifting: Impersonates the other contestants. This seems to be a way of negating its instabilities and Person of Mass Destruction nature, but the others convince it to show its natural form.
- Throwing the Fight: Attempted to get itself kicked out several times before HyperCam convinced it to stay. Also offered having Mariya do this to teach her its Reality Warper powers, but was negotiated out of it.

- Expressive Mask: In lieu of actually speaking, Guy-Manuel has his helmet display relevant images in interviews.
- Gratuitous French: Guy-Manuel exclusively speaks French on the rare occasions where he pipes up.
- Machine Monotone: Thomas uses this when speaking in legalese to share rights of the TRON: Legacy Soundtrack with Thanos.
- Shout-Out: Their key art places them as the Mii Fighters from Super Smash Bros.; Thomas is the Mii Swordfighter, Pharrel is the Mii Brawler, and Guy-Manuel is the Mii Gunner. Additionally, Thomas's sword looks akin to one of Travis Touchdown's beam katanas.
The Jazz Cats

Leitmotifs: The Lick
- And Introducing: Get this in the KFAD opening video, thanks to their being more-or-less original creations of the channel, a trait they share with HOBaRT.
- all lowercase letters: sphelonious donk's name is spelled like this, as his all of his dialogue, with the exception of the one "SILENCE" towards a very rude customer.
- The Beastmaster: sphelonious donk has three mice at his beck and call that seem to be his minions. He calls on them to count off the song the Jazz Cats play in their reveal trailer.
- Deadpan Snarker: Shades and Milk Bowl are more than eager to lay down snide remarks against their opponents, especially in the hypothetical match-ups.
- Original Generation: While their design is taken from a particular painting of cats playing instruments
◊, almost everything else about them, including their backstory, personalities, and music sources are original creations by the channel. Several videos have been made to flesh out their world and give a framework to their performance in tournament.
- Power Floats: As shown in their cameo in the ending of "Party's Over..."
◊, sphelonious donk is able to float and lift the utensils around him.
- Reality Warper: sphelonious donk. He phased a complaining customer out of existence.
- Voice of the Legion: sphelonious donk speaks with an ominous echo that sounds like multiple voices atop another. This is one of his tamer traits.

- Apologetic Attacker: Don-chan thanks Snake for the pep talk before the match after his defeat.
- Crossover: One of two newcomer teams to be a crossover between series, the other being Law & Disorder.
- Named by the Adaptation: The Tap Trial girl is given the Punny Name of Hakukonote here.
- Irony: Lost in round 1 by 0.1%, the equivalent of failing a Perfect or a Full Combo on the last note. And this came after Hakuko said she had no excuse not to get a Perfect.
- Poor Communication Kills: Hakuko was quick to accuse Solid Snake for attacking Don-chan by accident after his loss on the Loser's bracket, without letting him explain as such. This causes a fall out between them and isn't resolved until the after-party.
- Verbal Tic: "Da-don" for Don-chan.

- Hulk Speak: How Mothman talks.Mothman: "ME EAT YOU WHOLE."
- An Ice Person: Jack Frost.
- One Steve Limit: Played with, since there's already another Jack in the tournament, namely Jack Black, Elmo refers to Jack Frost as "Mr. Other Jack".
- Sticky Fingers: Mothman has been caught lifting many items, including a hand sanitizer complete with the stand.
- Verbal Tic: "Hee-ho" for Jack Frost.

- Acquired Situational Narcissism: Towards the end of his run in the tourney, he becomes so convinced of his victory that he breaks up Tenacious D, certain he'll go all the way with Elmo. The team is eliminated that same match.
- Arc Number:"Eight fantastic sides, and eight awesome angles!"
- Mundane Made Awesome: The duo's enthusiasm for octagons, which in turn inspires countless remixes.

- Casanova Wannabe: Johnny's whole shtick.note Naturally, he tries to flirt with most of the female characters he comes accross, like Undyne, Marina, Hakuko, and Mariya.
- Intergenerational Friendship: He gets along really well with KO, with their dynamic being that of a cool older brother and his starry-eyed little brother. It's also not faked to make Johnny look better, as he's legitimately moved to tears by KO's modified POW card of him (which scribbles out his Hero Level of 4 for "A MILLION!!" and shows that KO considers the two of them BFFs).
- Keet: KO is really enthusiastic about meeting the contestants.
- Mythology Gag: KO's appearance as a guest of Johnny Bravo's may reference his involvement in the episode "Crossover Nexus", where Double D, Buttercup, Samurai Jack, Courage, Grim, and Johnny himself made cameos as part of Strike's "trophy collection".
- Obvious Rule Patch: He doesn't get music from The Flintstones or The Jetsons. No explanation is provided in-universe, but given the channel's history, it isn't unjustified.
- Sand In My Eyes: He starts to tear up after seeing all the positive messages KO drew on his POW Card. When KO asks about it, Johnny replies with this trope.
- Worthy Opponent: Has shown a great fondness for his first opponent in the loser's bracket, Geno. After helping him get the full CN cast into the studio, Geno asks for a fair fight and that the best man win, which Johnny accepts. Even after Johnny wins the match, his victory quote is one of the nicest in the tournament so far:Johnny Bravo: Sorry about the loss, dolly, but you're welcome to come visit CN City anytime!

- All for Nothing: Dr. Piccolo's research into the Ligma virus with MissingNo.'s assistance is rendered moot by the fact that Ligma is just a joke Goku was invoking.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Green and purple.note
- Combat Medic: Was this before his elimination.
- Hearing Voices: As a Shout-Out to Dragon Ball Z Abridged, Dr. Piccolo has Nail and Kami talking in this head. Eventually, Nail winds up being transferred to Goku in a last-ditch effort to "cure" Goku of Ligma.
- Surrounded by Idiots: How he felt with some contestants during the tournament, particularly the Cool Meme Team.

- Adaptational Sexuality: Zig-Zagged. Talks about his "husband" Satan, but it's not clear if he's actually married to him or not.
- Big Beautiful Man: Sees himself as being this and was intentionally designed by DiC's Milton Knight to be "animation's sexiest fat man".
- Break the Haughty: Had a full-on meltdown when Hakuko and Jack Black admitted his robot-building skills were not that good.
- Jerkass: Berates everyone he meets, especially the Nintendo representatives.
- Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: Went up and won against Nintendo Power in Loser's Round 2 as a representative of their greatest former rival, Sega.

- Composite Character: Has the appearance and personality of his DKC cartoon incarnation, but represents the game franchise as well.
- Decomposite Character: Despite the above, he's entirely separate from the game version of Donkey Kong who appears as one of the figments kidnapped by The Voice in the Christmas Comeback Crisis.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Bananas, to the point of frequently leaving the peels out in the Gaylord's lobby.

- Convenient Replacement Character: Sans was too much of a Lazy Bum to enter the tournament. Good thing his brother is far more proactive.
- It's All About Me: The stated reason as to why Papyrus does not get all Undertale-related music is that he's making his takeover all about himself. As such, he only gets tracks related to him (including fan-made tracks).
- Lethal Chef: He loves to make spaghetti, but most people agree that it's close to inedible. Probably comes from the fact that he learned it from Undyne, who regularly burns her house down trying to make it. Luckily, King Dedede isn't a picky eater and is one of the first people to enjoy his cooking.
- Painting the Medium: Just like in his home game, all of his lines are written with the Papyrus typeface.

- Greed: Mr. Krabs's main personality trait is his unending greed and (sometimes literal) penny-pinching.
- Lethal Chef: Served as one on the SS Diarrhea. Also suggested using kelp growing around his restaurant to make veggie burgers.
- Penny-Pinching Crab: He is one.

- Ambiguous Gender: At first. Averted in the second interview, where she is referred to using feminine pronouns.
- Animate Inanimate Object: She's a sentient television.
- Catchphrase: "♂ ASS ♂ WE ♂ CAN ♂", when she assumes her wrestler alter ego.
- Distaff Counterpart: As the rep of a popular video sharing site and the memes that ran on it for at least a decade, she serves as this to Unregistered Hypercam 2.
- Gratuitous Japanese: Speaks exclusively in Japanese in her normal form.
- Hulking Out: In the second interview, she suddenly grows large, muscular arms.
- The Prankster: Loves scaring people as a prank. Even at the end of a heartfelt moment, she's not above doing this.
- Speaks in Shout-Outs: She tends to react through referencing one of her many memes.

The amnesiac protagonist and Player Character from the popular platformer Cave Story, who was picked on-the-spot from a random selection of 8 characters sent in by fans during the MAGFest 2019 panel's character poll. His character represents rips from Studio Pixel games, rips from games published by Nicalis, and other rips from old classic indie platformers.
- Adorkable: Underneath his quiet exterior is a rather sweet and dorky boy. Many of his unused tourney lines, both for victory and defeat, have him react with appropriate enthusiasm to the items he gets from his opponents (such as feeling more handsome when he gets Johnny's hair gel, or deciding that he's "the boss of this gym" when he obtains Nico Nico's Heart of Admonition).
- Cuteness Proximity: One of his unused tournament lines has him fawn over the Monkey Watch if he wins against Rhythm Masters:Obtained the MONKEY WATCH. You're too distracted by the cute miniature monkeys inside.
- Heroic Mime: Quote does not speak, instead having his actions and feelings described in his speech bubbles. In-universe, he's said to rely on physical actions to convey his thoughts.
- Implied Love Interest: Thomas asks him if he and Curly have a thing going on after describing her as "[Quote's] girlfriend", but he wisely decides that the exact nature of their relationship doesn't matter at the moment.
- Odd Friendship: With Adam Levine of all people.

- Defrosting Ice Queen: Eventually decides to stay and enjoy the tournament's company after talking to Pitbull, even signing some autographs.
- Jerkass: He wanted to be a judge, not a competitor. Combined with his early elimination, he spends the whole tournament frustrated and lashes out at other contestants.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: Although he's not planning on befriending anyone in the tournament, Adam admits he misses the conversations he had with his old band and implies he's pretty lonely.
- Odd Friendship: The only contestant he's on good terms with is Quote, who he talks to and eats with no problem, not like he'll ever admit this to anybody. He also tries to stand up for Quote during one of the last Mojo conversations.
- Unknown Rival: Really has a vendetta against Pharrell, although he's not too fond of Daft Punk either. None of the members of that team feel the same way.

- Flipping the Bird: He's doing it in his picture.
- Out of Focus: Had the least amount of promotional rips of the entire tournament, as well as minimal coverage on the MOJO! website. Several people reported forgetting he was even in the tournament.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: Spouts the most profanity of any of the other contenders.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Twinkie Weiner Sandwiches.
- Verbal Tic: In one late Mojo post that had him with Weird Al he ended almost every sentence with "yknow what Im sayin?" as a Call-Back to a mock interview the real Weird Al did with edited footage of Eminem that had him lampshade his overuse of the sentence ender in real life.

- And Introducing: Gets this in the KFAD opening video, thanks to his being a more or less original creation of the channel, a trait he shares with the Jazz Cats.
- Animate Inanimate Object: Unlike Hypercam, who is a robot, HOBaRT is seemingly a sentient cake mixing machine. He's considered sentient enough to work for OWCA.
- Awesome Aussie: Zig-Zagged; he was immediately eliminated from the tourney by Nintendo Power and MissingNo., but since the conclusion of the tourney, he's gotten more attention than any of the other characters (besides the champion).
- Beyond the Impossible: When demonstrating how he produces rips, Lil Jon places a Super Mario 64 cartridge and a jar of yellow liquid labeled "Essence of Flintstone" into HOBaRT's bowl and mixes. Somehow, this results in a high-quality rip and not just a mess of shards of glass and plastic that smells vaguely of urine.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: He lost both of his matches with the widest margins of both tournaments, with only 23.3% of the vote against Nintendo Power, and 21.9% against MissingNo.. The latter loss was so devastating that a smoke animation was added to his defeat icon, an "honor" that other losing contestants have not been granted.
- Easily Forgiven: Despite his loss against MissingNo. nearly putting him out of commission, HOBaRT doesn't hold a grudge against the sentient glitch and even lets him work as an apprentice on the kitchen.
- Inanimate Competitor: He's literally just a a cake-mixer, and doesn't really speak or convey any thoughts. Li'l Jon usually speaks on his behalf. Subverted when MissingNo. gave him the ability to speak, showing that he is, in fact, sentient, although he was eliminated before he could get any practical use out of it.
- In-Series Nickname: It's frequently called "the funny mixer" by others.
- Joke Character: A ridiculous character even by this tournament's standards, HOBaRT came to the tournament with an equally ridiculous source pool that paled in comparison to that of other characters. Despite coming out with some surprisingly good rips, his persona was moreso based on Rule of Funny than being a viable contender in the tournament.
- Nice Hat: Gains a fedora during his stint as "Agent H".
- No Indoor Voice: Not HOBaRT himself (although he is quite loud, being a mixer and all), but its operator Li'l Jon, whose lines in the MOJO!! are written in bold all-caps.
- Odd Friendship: With Isabelle, of all people, due to them having languages no one but themselves can understand.
- Original Generation: Like the Jazz Cats and Unregistered HyperCam 2, Hobart is an original creation made for the tournament.
- Perverse Sexual Lust: "Theme of HOBaRT" is half about how awesome HOBaRT is, and half about how much the singer wants to have sex with it.
- Suddenly Voiced: Starting from "W̴̖̟̅͑R̵̢̫̰̣̂Ṟ̸̜̎͑R̷̖̃͠R̴͎̆̚̚R̴̯͝R̷̖͈̀̈͆̈R̸͙͈̝̓͑͛̄R̷̪̳͉̟͒͐͝R̶͙͖̽̌͋R̶̭͋̽͂͠R̶̺̀̅̇R̵͈̦̓̇̾R̵̬̺͘͝R̷̭͖̠̋̇̏R̷̡̧̫̞͂̀͌", HOBaRT is able to speak properly whenever MissingNo. is present.
- Supreme Chef: The meals he cooks are always appreciated by the contestants. He doesn't even seem to need ingredients.
- Visual Pun: HOBaRT works with both food mixes and music mixes.
Tournament extras
- Big Bad: Is the villain of the third Halloween Horror Special, planning murdering Protogent's brother and framing it on Wood Man.
- Evil Twin: More or less one, considering he attempted to frame Wood Man and is shown to have a similar power set to him.
- FaceHeel Turn: He was just the harmless host of King For Another Day, right? Nope. Wood Man outbid him in a bid for a haunted mansion (which John used his money from hosting for) which caused him to hate Wood Man and plot his downfall.
- HeelFace Revolving Door: Went from being the affable host of the first King for a Day tournament to being the mastermind of the Scooby-Doo-esque Halloween Special, then suddenly to assisting ALL the contestants for the King for Another Day tournament to use the MF Like Button and defeat Unrestrained Hypercam 2.
- Green Thumb: Unregistered HyperCam 2 implies that John Notwoodman's Leaf Shield is at least somewhat stronger than regular Wood Man's.
- Identical Stranger: To Wood Man.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: His name makes people think he is just Wood Man trying to terribly pretend he is not. Eventually subverted, as John Notwoodman was actually seen to not be Wood Man during the SiIvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special Part III event.
- The Man Behind the Man: Is revealed to be the villain in the Halloween Horror Special, who killed Protogent's brother, commanded Jeff the Killer to dress as the 8-Bit Beast, and framed Wood Man as the killer via a Goomba.

- A Day in the Limelight: Used MissingNo. to get a pseudo-interview on the Mojo - albeit disjointed as Meowth and HyperCam thought they were interviewing Pickle Woodman.
- Bait-and-Switch: Used as the bait, twice.
- At the beginning of Season 3, several signs (loosely) indicated she would be taking over the channel. It was later revealed that the Nostalgia Critic had actually caused them.
- As the characters for the King for a Day Tournament were being revealed, her silhouette was shown as the final character teaser. After 24 hours, the final character was revealed to be Etika, and his character bio followed not long after.
- Celebrity Is Overrated: Downplayed in that she doesn't exactly detest her popularity, but it's there.Monika: Its hard being so popular But Im able to handle it by spending quality time with my true friends. Small groups is really what I prefer.
- Direct Line to the Author: Played With. She claims to speak to the creator of her game, Dan Salvato, on occasion, however they only met after her game had already been out for about a year and since part of Monika's backstory is that she realized that she's fictional, there is no implication that their meeting makes the game a true story. This is also deconstructed in that Monika's presence makes Dan uncomfortable.note
- Hostile Show Takeover: Takes advantage of MissingNo.'s abilities to hijack Pickle Woodman's interview.
- Humor Dissonance: Invoked in "Okay, Everyone!"
, where Yuri's poem is literally just a transcript of Joel's reaction to 7 Grand Dad. Monika, Yuri and Natsuki think it's hilarious and are anticipating the Player Character's reaction... only for him to not get the reference at all. But that doesn't stop the three from laughing about it anyway.
- Inexplicably Awesome: She doesn't know why she can talk to Dan Salvato.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Not in her interview, but when encouraging people to use the MF Like Button, she uses some choice wording.Monika: Okay, everyone! Lets put all our support into the MF Like Button and end this story once and for all!~
- Murder Is the Best Solution: Doesn't hesitate in the slightest when saying that she would, in fact, murder someone on the premises. Provided she had a good reason to, of course.
- Oh Crap, There Are Fanfics of Us!: Inverted. She actually encourages it.Monika: You wouldnt believe how many crazy stories there are about me. But anyone should be able to write their own story if they want! And if you want to put me in it thats okay with me 💖
- Recurring Extra: Probably the closest one could get to this trope on SiIvaGunner. Monika's disjointed interview on the Mojo is her only significant character appearance, but she's had several mentions, references, and cameos on the channel ever since her game released in 2017 (not to mention the amount of rips and references in rips her game has recieved).
- Too Qualified to Apply: The reason she cannot be a competitor; her game's fanbase is too large for her to participate in what's essentially a popularity contest.

- Ascended Fanon: Sort of. The SiIvaGunner team decided to add him as a bonus character after a fan made a fake leak of the full roster with Mr. Bean in it.
- Out of Focus: His assault and Maya's suspected involment thereof are what brought Wright to the tournament. However, the matter seems to have been forgotten, as Maya is released in time for the after-party.

- Adaptational Heroism: He's the interviewer for the King for Another Day Tournament, and rallies everyone at the Gaylord to power up the MF Like Button.
- Butt-Monkey: He never gets to just conduct a normal interview due to the nature of the interviewees.
- Dummied Out: Cranky Kong points out that Meowth was cut from the first King for a Day during his interview with Donkey Kong.
- Nice Hat
- Oh My Gods!: Sometimes exclaims "Arceus" when exasperated.
- Only Sane Man
- Barrier Warrior: Uses Safeguard to repel the contestants' guests at the Gaylord Hotel, preventing them from being harmed by the turmoil outside.
- Pokémon Speak: Can only say his name.

- Ascended Extra: Introduced as a joke competitor in the fake Direct, but they began appearing in interviews and later got arrangements even though they weren't listed as Bonus Characters.
- Big, Thin, Short Trio: Big Chungus is big, Woah Crash is thin, and Ugandan Knuckles is short.
- They Killed Kenny Again: All three have died no less than 3 times during the interviews, but keep managing to come back. Justified because they own an Uno Reverse Card, which undoes any fatal damage they take.
- Victory Fakeout: In a true SiIvaGunner fashion, on December 23rd, the so-called results screen intended between the finalists was actually the group winning over Mariya and DJ Prof. K by "like 99 Bazillion" votes.

- Amusing Injuries: Neil got knocked off the roof of the Gaylord in the after-party, twice.
- Early-Bird Cameo:
- Both he and Hat Kid appeared as fake contestant in the September Direct's Beta Mix.
- His art was posted on Twitter by artist Ackrostation and retweeted by Silva himself before he appeared in the interviews. It was even said that the art wasn't for the tournament, and just a fun side project instead.

- Animate Inanimate Object: It's actually alive and malicious.
- Artifact of Doom: The Crown is this due to it having sentience, wanting to extend the tournament indefinitely, and Meowth implying John Notwoodman might have done something underhanded to gain The Crown.
- Big Bad: Of the King for Another Day Tournament.
- Christmas Every Day: A non-Christmas variation (if only by a few days): The Crown wants to make the King for Another Day Tournament eternal.
- Cool Crown: It is one. The fact that it can only be defeated by the combined power of The Finalists, the Eliminated Contestants and the pure power of the MF Like Button only amplifies how cool it is.
- Evil All Along: It's revealed that the Crown not only can possess anyone who wears it and wants to trap the contestants in a neverending King for Another Day tournament, but it's also powered by dislikes, meaning it's a channel for negativity.
- Expy: Of the Master Crown.
- Final Boss: It wants the tournament to last forever, and so possesses Unregistered Hypercam 2, turning him into Unrestrained Hypercam 2.
- Traitor Shot: At the end of the "A King's Regalia" interview, it suddenly lets out a smirk that somewhat resembles Wood Man's ">:]" emoticon.
Other characters

One of the main protagonists of the Sonic the Hedgehog games. He does not come up often, but the rips that do involve him tell us a lot, such as his Image Song "Unknown from M.E.".
- Action Duo: With Sonic
.
- Always Save the Girl: Fights for Nico (or rather, her Catchphrase).
- Ambiguously Bi: He claims that his purpose is to fight for Nico, but he later talks about having sex with Sonic.
- Bigger Is Better in Bed: Boasts that his cock can go through boulders.
- Bilingual Bonus: He can apparently speak Japanese. He proves it by singing "Knuckles Halation".
- By "No", I Mean "Yes": Knuckles doesn't chuckle... unlike Knuckles.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Claims he's better than Knuckles, talks about having sex with Sonic in great detail, and thinks he's a dog.
- A Date with Rosie Palms: At the end, he decides that he'll just get it on by himself.
- Hostile Show Takeover: Sonic takes over for the second verse.
- Hypocritical Humor: He says the world will be a better place once Sonic games stop being made, despite the fact that he is a Sonic character.
- Incest Is Relative: Supposedly fucks his own ancestors.
- Little "No": His signature "Oh no".
- Shout-Out: The first verse of his song is a reference to "Knuckles from K.N.U.C.K.L.E.S. & Knuckles: Knuckles in Knuckles the Echidna feat. Knuckles..."
, made by then-contributor Triple-Q.
- Third-Person Person: According to Knuckles, "The cum of Knuckles flows inside [him]".
- Gender Bender: Said to be the male version of Maki Nishikino from Love Live, as both characters play the piano, are red with purple eyes, among other things.
The protagonist of the Reboot arc. After accidentally starting discourse amongst the fandom, he sets out to bring "Snow halation" back from its disappearance.
- Adaptational Heroism: The original Chad was an absolute Troll from the early days of YouTube, and a successful one at that. Here, Chad's presented as being kind of a jerk, but one who cares about the state of the SiIvaGunner channel. Wood Man alludes to this trope when he states that "Genocide Route" Chad acts a lot more like the actual person than the fictionalized version.
- Famous Last Words: "So... this is the power of the MF LIKE BUTTON... not bad. ...not bad at all. ...PS Vita... ...I'm coming to see you."
- The Hero: For the Reboot. He's the only force acting against the Voice during that time, as he's the only one with a Ripple-Proof Memory.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Sacrifices his life in order to bring "Snow halation" back and destroy the Voice using the MF LIKE BUTTON.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Rude and foul-mouthed but he genuinely cares for SiIva's well-being.
- Jerkass Has a Point: The videos containing him make a point to call out people for their Double Standards for "Snow halation" rips and their dislike bombing.
- Killed Off for Real: He dies at the end of the Continuity Reboot arc.
- Manipulative Editing: His dialogue is the result of sentence mixing things that the real Chad Warden has said.
- Ripple Effect-Proof Memory: Retains knowledge of the original universe after the reboot, which ends up putting him in conflict with the Voice.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: He swears very frequently.
- Sky Face: Appears at the very end of the final Snow halation rip
as this.

The mascot of an Australian rental company, and a big fan of SiIvaGunner. While initially portrayed as a protagonist, he was later portrayed as a violent serial killer intent on the destruction of all mashups... until it was revealed that the latter is a separate character entirely.
- The Alleged Car: His trademark badly-drawn car eventually breaks down. It also ultimately sends him into Mr. Own's universe, whereupon it explodes.
- Alternate Character Interpretation: In-Universe. The character seen in the Looney Tunes rips is a helpful, kind person who believes that Grand Ma and Grand Dad can live in harmony. He even asks if Soulja Boy is okay after accidentally running him over with his car. The Mr Rental from the Mr Rental: The Video Game rips... not so much. It's eventually revealed that the Looney Tunes version is the true Mr Rental, and the Serial Killer is an Alternate Universe version named "Mr. Own".
- Car Fu: Disposes of the imposter SiIvaGunner this way.
- Put on a Bus: His arc is never properly finished, only being wrapped up by a video of his "creator" explaining What Could Have Been.
- Bus Crash: Killed in a police shootout/car crash in the Slider - Super Mario 64DD rip.
- Shotguns Are Just Better: Eventually disposes of Mr. Own by using his own shotgun against him.
Mr. Own
An alternate-universe Mr. Rental whose embitterment against mashups led him to become a Serial Killer with a vendetta. It's only revealed that he's separate from Mr Rental in a "behind the scenes" video.
- Alternate Universe: Eventually revealed to be from one.
- Berserk Button: Mashups.
- Beware the Silly Ones: A character with such a goofy design surely can't be dangerous in any way, right? WRONG.
- Car Fu: One of his two main methods of killing mashup characters is running them over with his car. It's the only thing that he shares with his good counterpart.
- Driven to Suicide: Shot himself for accidentally creating a mashup at the end of one rip, though he got better.
- Evil Counterpart: To Mr Rental, naturally.
- Freudian Excuse: Chip the Ripper murdered Mr. Own's entire family, which is the root cause for his immense hatred of all mashups.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Mr Rental shoots him with his own shotgun.
- Knight Templar: Believes in the destruction of all mashups, regardless of quality.
- Serial Killer: Is explicitly referred to as one in this rip
.
- Shotguns Are Just Better: His other method of killing mashup characters is by shooting them with a shotgunnote .
- Spotting the Thread: The biggest clue that he and Mr. Rental are two different people is that he actually buys a cell phone, which is something that Mr. Rental is opposed to doing.
- Walking Spoiler: Isn't shown to be a unique character from Mr. Rental until the Mr. Rental finale.
Running Gags
Circus

One of the channel's oldest and most enduring gags. A tune from Five Nights at Freddy's that always transitions into something else (i.e, a completely unrelated song, some random dialogue or even a video) after the initial three seconds.
- Alphabetical Theme Naming: Initially, the mixes were identified through letters from the Greek alphabet.
- Creepy Circus Music: The original tune is supposed to be this, but it barely lasts 3 seconds until the transition happens.
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Mixes in post-reboot Season 1 and 2 had names that are more indicative of the joke used in them.
- Grumpy Old Man: The "Cranky Mix" contains one, who appears to be disgruntled fan who misses the "old days" of the channel.
- Non-Indicative Name: The actual song doesn't even last five seconds, and the gag is always completely different. Sometimes subverted in that the "(___ Mix)" could be a clue to the content of the rip.
- Pun: In late Season 3 and continuing into Season 4, the mix names started becoming puns on the word "Mix" or "Version". These puns usually have nothing to do with the rip in question.
Sens (Sans/Ness)

A laid-back, pun-happy skeleton of short stature who punishes those that intend to murder everyone in his underground home... and also a young boy gifted with psychic powers who fought against the machinations of a mindless malevolent alien.
- Composite Character: Sens is sometimes treated as an amalgamation of Sans and Ness.
- Depending on the Writer: Sometimes, Sens is just Sans being mistaken for Ness, but other times he's a Composite Character of both of them.
- In-Series Nickname: Sens.
- Skull for a Head: A popular fan depiction of Sens is Ness with Sans' head. Also very briefly seen in the Christmas Comeback Crisis.
- Stylistic Suck: His dialogue art in the King for Another Day Tournament MOJO!! interviews is just the word "sans." written in Comic Sans, as opposed to the stylized head every other character gets.
- Take That!: Most of the confusing Sans with Ness is because of a Game Theory video that (very weakly) claimed that Sans was Ness.
- Two Aliases, One Character: SiIvaGunner seems to believe that he is Ness, which leads to a lot of Undertale rips incorporating EarthBound and vice versa.
Pannenkoek2012 and TJ "Henry" Yoshi

A Challenge Gamer who is notorious for his incredible knowledge over Super Mario 64 and its mechanics, allowing for absurd gameplay where Mario is able to manipulate both literal and technical bugs, accelerate his own speed to infinity in half a day, and travel through "parallel universes"... all to obtain a power star without pressing the A button (he holds it down the entire time, but it's not actually pressed).
T.J. "Henry" Yoshi, an orange Yoshi wearing Godot's visor, is a related character who became well-known as he is mocked within the video of Pannenkoek's explanations (for saying that half A presses don't exist).
- Beyond the Impossible: Pannenkoek manages to make Mario move at a "speed" that even reality itself can't keep up with.
- Butt-Monkey: T.J. "Henry" Yoshi, both in-universe and in a meta sense, as the man himself occasionally shows up in the comments section of some videos, leading to a few jokes at his expense from the other commenters.
- Dimensional Traveler: Pannenkoek can make Mario do this in a way, and he's more than happy to explain how.
- Foreshadowing: The whole idea of parallel universes becomes relevant in the Reboot Arc.
- Good Bad Bugs: Parallel universes and the many other glitches necessary to get the star have been referenced on occasion.
- Overly Long Gag: The extended
version
of "Cave Dungeon" from Super Mario 64, when combined are over 12 hours long. It's an extremely slow version of the song getting faster for 12 hours until it returns to normal speed. It eventually transitions into "Jellyfish Jam" from SpongeBob SquarePants at the very end.
- Self-Imposed Challenge: The whole meme was created because of all the setup Pannenkoek had to do in order to obtain an otherwise rather simple Power Star. Additionally, it's part of a full 120-star run, which has been narrowed down to about 30 A button presses.
- Your Head Asplode: T.J. "Henry" Yoshi ends up blowing up from frustration in the Slot Machine (Beta Mix) rip
, when he gets served only half of a Super Mario 64 rip.
CG Rap

The CG Rap is a sentence mixed version of the "DK Rap". This version is about the members of the Coconut Crew and their Coconut Guns.
- Broken Record: "She's quick and nimble and quick and nimble and quick and nimble and quick and nimble..."
- Department of Redundancy Department:
- The members of the Coconut Crew all have coconut guns, and they all fire in spurts, and the song will let you know.
- Also, "She's quick and nimble and quick and nimble and quick and nimble and quick and nimble!"
- Disproportionate Retribution:
- He kills Kongo Jungle
(Melee's version of the DK Rap) because SilvaGunner says it isn't as good as the DK Rap or the CG Rap, and because there isn't a clear acapella of it.
- Similarly, he kills Green de la Bean and Nathaniel Welchert because he's sick of their shticks and thinks they aren't funny. Welchert's death doesn't last, though, as he inexplicably returns twice after being CG'd (and the second time this happened, it was explicitly shown to be fatal).
- He kills Kongo Jungle
- Dummied Out: The CG Rap is actually labeled as the "Unused Version", with the used version being each of the Kong's verses being played at the same time (with a bit of Snow halation).
- I'm a Humanitarian: In the Reprise
: "Donkey Kong is Hannibal Lecter, he wants your face!"
- The Klan: One lyric in the CG Rap is "KKK! Ku Klux Klan!"
- Manipulative Editing: The "CG Rap" was created by splicing and rearranging audio clips used in the actual rap. The group of rappers, when given dialogue, also talk through this manner.
- Self-Deprecation:
- "This coconut shit! Isn't funny!"
- The rappers do this in the Reprise rip from the last day of the reboot, saying that the Silence of the Lambs joke in their rip wasn't funny, and that the channel should just bring back Grand Dad.
- Subverted Rhyme Every Occasion: Done at least once per rap.
- Take That, Audience!: "If you know the words, you need to shoot yourself!"
- Voice of the Legion: There's multiple rappers, but the rap's vocals are treated as a single entity, presumably falling under this trope. Played with in that only some of the rap has multiple rappers, so creating new dialogue/lyrics via Manipulative Editing results in the number of rappers changing constantly.
Bob Dylan
- "OOOH, I'M BOB DYLAN!"Voiced by: PinkieOats
A folk singer who sings "his own special way." And "smokes the weed."
- Dreadful Musician: Not quite to the extent of JustinRPG, but he's definitely not the best singer. He's aware of this.
- Medium Awareness: He's aware of the original channel being taken down, and the fact that the "Adios, Amigo" rip, which he was performing was released on Mother's Day.
- Mistaken Identity: Gets mistaken for Homestar Runner by Strong Bad.
- The Stoner: He regularly mentions that he smokes weed.
- Verbal Tic: He often repeats his own name and that he smokes weed.
During the reboot, the main running gags were all replaced with "parallel" versions. Specifically, the Flintstones theme was replaced with The Simpsons and Family Guy themes, "Snow halation" was replaced with "GO MY WAY!!", and Loud Nigra was replaced with the Howie Scream.
- Action Bomb: All four of Peter's attacks in the Pokémon FireRed hack are variations of Explosion and Self-Destruct, named "FAMILY", "GUY", "FUNNY", and "MOMENTS".
- Blow You Away: Haruka, in the Pokémon FireRed hack, is a Flying-type and uses "GO MY WAY!!", a variation of Aeroblast as her primary attack.
- Continuity Reboot: Their existence is the result of this.
- Demoted to Extra: The main reboot gags have appeared much less frequently since the end of the Reboot arc. For a time after the reboot, they appeared in the channel's banner alongside the original trio, only to end up disappearing again when Tito Dick officially replaced Loud Nigra. The only one to make somewhat regular appearances after the reboot is "GO MY WAY!!".
- Dishing Out Dirt: In the Pokémon FireRed hack, Homer can use "Mr. Plow", a variation of Earthquake.
- Early-Bird Cameo: The Simpsons theme , "GO MY WAY!!", and the Howie Scream had appeared in a select few rips before the Reboot began.
- In-Series Nickname: Homer is sometimes referred to as "GRAND MA", enforcing his role as Grand Dad's counterpart.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: The Voice attempts to pass Haruka off as Haltmann's daughter, Susie. It doesn't work.
- Shock and Awe: Haruka is Electric-type in the Pokémon FireRed hack, as is her attack Mic Feedback.
- Squashed Flat: After The Voice's takeover, the Cinderella Girls and a few other iDOLM@STER characters are publicly executed this way on camera. It's not as humorous as it sounds.
- Stock Scream: The Howie Scream, naturally.
- Olympus Mons: Haruka replaces Lugia in the Pokémon FireRed hack, and is even stronger.
Felix the Cat (Continue?/Puzzle Room)

A minor running gag that came about during the reboot. Long story short, the "Game Over" music from a Russian Sega Genesis bootleg starring Felix the Cat is placed into a rip of "Program Rhythm" from Kirby: Planet Robobot... along with some some other notable content.note
- The Artifact: All of the Kirby: Planet Robobot rips were renamed when the official English titles became available... except for "Puzzle Room", which has kept the unofficial title due to the infamy of the original rip.
- Body Horror: Felix the Cat rips his own face off.
- Demoted to Extra: Unlike the main reboot memes, this is Averted due to the fact that Puzzle Room was always a minor running gag.
- The Dreaded: All rips of "Program Rhythm" since the original, due to Song Association and general Paranoia Fuel.
- Het Gone: The original "Puzzle Room" rip is not featured in the channel anymore due to the massive backlash. The rip's creator has reuploaded it on his own channel, though. Happened again to the first remake of it because it included Green de la Bean.
- Nightmare Face: The baby in the original "Puzzle Room" rip has one due to its disease. Whether being edited to look like it has the Hypernova ability makes it more or less a fit for this trope varies.
- Unlicensed Game: The "Felix the Cat" game is one. The source of its Game Over music, Uwol: The Quest For Money, is an example of this that averts Shoddy Knockoff Product.
Tito Dick

A character from The Nutshack, an animated sitcom of infamously bad quality. The Nutshack's theme actually debuted during the reboot as a very minor running gag, but it became a main running gag once the reboot ended (though it didn't officially become one until September 12th when Tito Dick took Loud Nigra's place).
- Aborted Arc: Word of God is that he was originally intended to be the "greater evil" mentioned by The Voice Inside Your Head, but this changed after people started liking The Nutshack as a meme.
- Ambiguously Evil: While Tito's initial actions lead people to believe he was a villain, Mr Rental's arrival has led some to reconsider.
- Breakout Character: Originally meant to be an occasional Running Gag, Tito Dick and The Nutshack became popular enough memes to overtake Loud Nigra's place in the Power Trio.
- Evil Overlooker: After a few weeks post-reboot, he showed up on the channel banner, covering the other memes (his transparency changed randomly during this time, just to tease lore-obsessed fans). Of course, once it became known that Mr Rental was not as nice as he seemed (and the banner was updated to include his shotgun pointed straight at the lighthouse), some have begun to believe that Tito was in fact protecting his fellow memes from death.
- Either "World Domination", or Something About Bananas: The rap section of The Nutshack theme isn't of a very clear audio quality and can easily be misheard. For example, the lyric claiming Tito Dick "raised Phil" was originally thought to say that he "hates Phil".
- Gag Censor: His head is frequently used as one.
- Good Is Not Nice: One Rugrats rip portrays him mocking people about Grand Dad's disappearance, even though he's a fellow Running Gag.
- Power Trio: After 9/11/2016, he took Loud Nigra's place in the trio.
Misha (Mishovy ílenosti)

A young boy who plays Pokémon GO every day.
- Dreadful Musician: His singing...isn't that great, to say the least.
- Flipping the Bird: A picture of him doing this replaced the tower on the channel's banner. An hour later, he disappeared. The tower would not reappear until September 11th.
- Name's the Same: Supernatural fans sometimes get confused into thinking that people are talking about Misha Collins.
Green de la Bean

A bizarre character who appeared at seemingly random times. Its presence often included Sensory Abuse, both of the visual and audio kind. It and all of the videos that included it were deleted after one of them was flagged, but the character soon returned with changes made to make it less unpleasant.
- Anthropomorphic Food/Plant Person: It's a cartoony bean pod with limbs.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Its modus operandi invokes this. It shows up out of nowhere, Sensory Abuse ensues, and it leaves just as quickly as it appears
- Creator's Pet: For most of the team. They really like him, whereas the fans effectively murdered him for a time. Even Chaze considers Bean his favorite.
- Disney Death: Was seemingly Killed Off for Real after one of its videos was flagged, but soon returned without explanation amidst the channel mourning its "death".
- Hero of Another Story: Despite being Demoted to Extra on the main SiIvaGunner channel, he's the proud mascot of the Flustered Fernando channel, where all of his rips were reuploaded.
- Jump Scare: Its sole purpose was to scare the ever living daylights out of viewers. This aspect was removed ever since its revival.
- Lighter and Softer: When it returned to the channel around the time of the Christmas Comeback Crisis, its appearances were toned down so that they were loud, but not ear-piercing.
- Mind Screw: Whenever it showed up, with its strange imagery and distorted audio.
- Sensory Abuse: Its appearances included extremely loud and distorted audio, alongside bizarre and overwhelming imagery of itself.
Nick Meowleksiak
A game composer who does covers for the channel, and a self-confessed NEET who hates his otaku lifestyle.
- All There in the Manual: His name is only revealed in the video description for 100 Nyan Power De Yumegokot
.
- All Women Are Lustful: Mentions having a "loose lady" who is a fan of "Gurren Lugann".
- A Date with Rosie Palms: He claims that he faps every day and every night.
- Drowning My Sorrows: He drinks to deal with his problems.
- NEET: Calls himself one.
- Occidental Otaku: He admits to being a weeaboo.
- Perverse Sexual Lust: He implies that he has a thing for Mako Mankanshoku, Satsuki, and Ragyo Kiryuin, but later says that his waifu is Nozomi.
- Self-Deprecation: He hates his NEET lifestyle, but he can't bring himself to hate anime.
- Straw Loser: He's a stereotypical "neckbeard"/"weeaboo" who stays at home, drinks Mountain Dew, and jerks off to anime girls.
Eggnog (Egghead / Life Jacket Kid / Lil' Nibba)
- Creepy Child: After his first appearance, the fan community quickly became paranoid of him appearing in their videos.
- Early-Bird Cameo: While he first started crashing videos and gaining notoriety in April 2017, his first actual appearance on the channel was as an in-universe Youtube thumbnail on a computer in a Mr. Rental video in January 2017.
- Fictional Video Game: Egghead: The Video Game
.
- Jump Scare: Most of his appearances involve him randomly teleporting in front of a white screen at the beginning of a video. The screen then zooms on his face, but then quickly cuts to an edited, demonic-looking photo of a celebrity with glowing white eyes and a creepy red tint, accompanied by Sensory Abuse.
- In the LSD: Dream Emulator rip "Lucy in the Sky with Dynamites" , he himself serves as a jumpscare; shortly after the oddly creepy video of a birthday cake being lit up, the screen cuts to static for an unusually long time, and then blacks out. After several seconds of silence, he suddenly jumps out of nowhere as a loud noise is played, and then disappears as quickly as he came.
- Memetic Bystander: The true answer to the origin of the image: a Si Iva team member noticed him in the background of one of their beach photos, and decided to use his likeness in rips.
- Mood Whiplash: After the frightening jumpscares he triggers, the video usually shifts to an unrelated, usually humorous Vine.
- No Name Given: Didn't have one until The Bus Came Back, although it was changed to Eggnog shortly after.
- Nothing Is Scarier: His bizarre Sensory Abuse was and remains unanswered, and the true source of the image went unknown until 2020.
- Sensory Abuse: The jumpscares he triggers have the "Aural Invasion" kind, with a bit of Optical thrown in too.
Farting D. Va

- Big Beautiful Woman: Defied. ChelHellBunny is a bit pudgy, and is a pretty decent D. Va cosplayer. The meme and SiIva's use of it try to paint her as repulsively as possible.
- Catchphrase: "Nerf this!". Depending on the rip, the audio used for the catchphrase can originate either from Overwatch itself or from ChelHellBunny's twerking cosplay video.
- Creator's Pet: Among the fanbase, she's considered basically the second coming of the Bean, except less prone to Sensory Abuse but far more gross and vulgar. She also appeared in almost every alternate rip between late August and mid-September 2019, and still occasionally appears afterwards.
- Excrement Statement: The original edit made a mockery out of ChelHellBunny (deliberately or otherwise), while the SiIvaGunner channel uses it to aggrevate its viewers.
- Fan Disservice: As used by SiIvaGunner. Even without the original video in context, viewers (that aren't fart fetishists) really don't want to visualize a young woman in a skintight bodysuit letting out a wet fart.
- Gasshole: Her most well known trait in the SiIvaGunner universe, popping up in all her videos just to yell out her catchphrase and rip a big one. It's worth noting that this joke originates from an edit made by fart fetishists to an (NSFW) twerking video by cosplayer ChelHellBunny (still to the right), in which a fart is edited in while Chel twerks in a D. Va costume.
- Stealth Pun: Her rips are... rips. As in farting.
- Toilet Humor: What this meme amounts to.
8-Bit Beast

A beast, and the creator of an 8-bit "tune".
- Big Boo's Haunt: Often shows up in tracks for these levels, including the Trope Namer from Super Mario 64, albeit only in the beta version
.
- A Day in the Limelight: While Haunted House is a small running gag regardless, it's a main meme of the Halloween specials, along with 8-Bit Beast himself appearing.
- Haunted House: The song is named after these... for some reason.
- Hell Is That Noise: The original song is made of these. They've been dubbed "gadunks". Some rips incorporate the full gadunk, and some don't, or use a less jarring substitute.
- Fictional Video Game: 8-Bit Beast's Haunted House
.
- Out-of-Genre Experience: "Haunted House - 8-Bit Beast's Haunted House"
is a completely untampered upload of the original song, and all the information in the description is correctnote . The only thing misleading about the video is that it claims the song is from a game, but one would have to already be familiar with the channel for this to be obvious.
- Power Trio: For the Halloween specials, along with Wood Man and Takane Shijou.
- Uncommon Time: A strange combination of 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, and 2/4, and to top it off, some notes are longer or shorter than they "should" be. See the full breakdown here.
Takane Shijou

- Actually Not a Vampire: Despite her costume and theme, she's just a human figment.
- Destined Bystander: She actually first appeared as early as the Chilly Castle
rip, which was pre-reboot.
- Power Trio: For the Halloween specials, along with Wood Man and 8-Bit Beast.
- Vampire Vannabe: She's always depicted in her vampire get-up, and she sings about being one.
Spooky Scary Skeletons

- Dem Bones: The entire song is about skeletons.
- The Dead Can Dance: The song is often played with pictures of dancing skeletons.
Bowflex
An advertisement for a series of fitness training equipment.- Ad Dissonance: Played for Laughs, of course. The dissonance comes from the fact that it shows up out of nowhere in the middle of videos that are supposed to only contain music.
- Dada Ad: The ad by itself isn't that weird, but it becomes rather surreal when it shows up in rips of songs that have nothing to do with it.
- Hard-Work Montage: What did you expect for an ad for fitness training equipment?
- Product Placement: Well, it is an advertisement, after all.
- Repeating Ad: Since it's a Running Gag, it technically counts as one.
Slider
A well known Super Mario 64 song that has been ripped many, many times.Bird Up!
hhgregg
The mascot of now-defunct electronics store hhgregg, HH. Rips that contain him usually pull samples from the infamous "Christmas in July" commercial, which was mocked for having forced lyrics set to the tune of "Deck the Halls" before becoming a YTPMV meme.- Animate Inanimate Object: Is an anthropomorphic sales guide.
- Floating Limbs: Doesn't possess any limbs.
- Odd Couple: Frequently appears in Sonic the Hedgehog-related rips, due to his "Panasonic Blue-Ray" line.
- The Pollyanna: He's awfully cheerful for the mascot of a company that's since gone bankrupt.
Undertale 2
- Departmentof Redundancy Department: The composer and platform for several Undertale 2 rips are just "Undertale 2."
- Fictional Video Game
- Hostile Show Takeover: Not of the channel, but of the channel's Reddit. During the channel's short hiatus following "Smooth" Day, the title in the Reddit's banner was inexplicably changed to three instances of "Undertale 2".
- Stylistic Suck: Every rip of the game is bound to be a meme-filled mess.
- Take That!: The nature of the rips are no doubt a result of the
notoriety that the original game has gained.
Love Plug Guy
A man who tries an experiment involving his penis, some tinfoil, and an electrical socket. It goes very badly. Like Loud Nigra, he usually appears in rips in the form of his scream.
- Naked People Are Funny: Completely naked, just like Loud Nigra.
Softendo
Throughout these rips, Softendo is revealed to be a malicious digital entity who consumed the work of Mario Forever's creator, Buziol, after the latter tried to stop it, and turned it into an incoherent, malicious cesspool. When Buziol takes on Softendo personally, Softendo declares that the convoluted mess that was the current state of Mario Forever's public image will live on, before absorbing Buziol into its consciousness.
Years later, one of Softendo's employees alert it to a strange issue within the game's ending. The area of concern was the credits, which awaken Buziol within Softendo and forces the latter to end itself.
"Good Ending" reveals that this mini-arc is a metaphor for the 14-years-long history of the actual Mario Forever game. When Mario Forever was released, it was hosted on a service called CNet, infamous for injecting bloatware, bundleware, and even malware into the files it hosted. The incessant rambling of Softendo in some of the rips turned out to be real texts ripped from the site (they were poorly written and machine-translated from Polish), and character!Buziol ending character!Softendo was the real Buziol realizing that Mario Forever was being laced with viruses, and promptly rebuilding everything from the ground up.
- Aluminum Christmas Trees: You wouldn't know that Softendo's tirades were actual texts pulled from the real Softendo website unless you followed the actual Mario Forever game.
- Anthropomorphic Personification: Buziol is, well, Buziol; more specifically it's his moral conscience. Softendo is Buziol's apathy towards the malicious distribution services that hosted Mario Forever and the incoherence of the Softendo website. It took 14 years to move the game elsewhere.
- Blatant Lies: Mario Forever does, in fact, contain viruses. However, this is because Buziol made the mistake of hosting it on CNet, which became infamous for starting to forcefully inserting bloatware into all files hosted on the service.
- Motor Mouth: Always rattles off on the Mario fangames downloadable on its site.
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: Softendo always points out how Mario Forever has no viruses. Tragically, when you consider the Softendo character is the actual writing of Buziol fed to a text-to-speech program, it's easy to perceive this as Buziol constantly denying that CNet, where Mario Forever was distributed, was ever malicious and that the Mario Forever toolbar was long past the age it was built for.
- Translation Train Wreck: The reason Softendo's rambling is so incoherent - they're severely redundant writings translated from Polish using Google Translate.
- Tomato in the Mirror: Buziol and Softendo are the same person.
Vladimir Putin
The President and former Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Known for being a "SUPER SUPER GAY" and widening himself to walk through the Kremlin
. He briefly took over the channel in December 2020
, but retired one day later.
- Bigger Is Better in Bed: He likes his c*cks long and big.
- Repeated For Emphasis: He repeats the above song to be very clear.
- Sudden Soundtrack Stop: His main theme
stops suddenly when he unwidens to announce his retirement.

A bizarre Mario recolor and the titular hero of 7 Grand Dad (or Super Mario 7), a bootleg of The Flintstones: The Rescue Of Dino & Hoppy that became a meme after Joel played it. He is associated with the theme song of said bootleg, which is also the theme song for The Flintstones. The character himself often acts as the Face of the Band for SiIva (being the subject of the very first rip), and often acts as The Leader to the other figments.
See the Vinesauce character page for his presence there.
- Adaptational Heroism: He was The Hero of his game of origin, but was turned into a Serial Killer Villain Protagonist and later Big Bad in some ROM hacks Joel played on Vinesauce, the first channel that made him famous. On GiIvaSunner/SiIvaGunner, he's The Leader and once more a hero (though he is not The Hero; Nozomi plays this role).
- Adaptation Name Change: The bizarre Mario sprite that came to be Grand Dad actually appears in multiple bootleg games (most notably the infamous
"PUSH START TO RICH
"), and is known as "Fortran" by the Mario community, though this specific sprite's hat has the Chinese character for "king" (王) on it instead of an F. However, Joel didn't know this when he played Super Mario 7, so the Grand Dad name stuck.
- Arc Number: The number 7 is heavily associated with him.
- Character Title: Inverted; Joel named Grand Dad after the title screen, which refers to the game as 7 Grand Dad instead of Super Mario 7. The cartridge itself has the text "Grand Dad 3M" on it.
- Cool Old Guy: An affable, fun-loving old man, or at least on SiIvaGunner. On Vinesauce, he's completely the opposite.
- Depending on the Artist: Is portrayed as either the Mario recolor from the title screen, or as Fred Flintstone with Mario's head from the gameplay.
- Depending on the Writer: In contrast to his usual chipper demeanor, "Menu - Garfield" portrays him as frustrated and insulting towards the (rather trying) SiIva (though this is of course justified by the fact that the two play the role of Jon and Garfield, respectively, from Garfielf).
- Dishing Out Dirt: In the Pokémon FireRed hack, he is a Rock-type and capable of using Rock-type and Ground-type attacks due to his association with the Flintstones.
- Dolled-Up Installment: His game is advertised as a Mario game, despite clearly being a Licensed Game based on The Flintstones.
- Face of the Band: As the oldest and most popular meme on the channel, he and The Flintstones theme are the things most commonly associated with it.
- Head Swap: His in-game sprite is Fred Flintstone with Mario's head.
- Lazy Artist: The aforementioned Head Swap and the infamous title screen are the only changes made to the game. Everything else from the characters to the story is largely the same, right down to the Hanna-Barbera characters still being in the game and calling Mario/Grand Dad "Fred".
- Leitmotif: An 8-bit version of the opening theme song from The Flintstones.
- Non-Indicative Name: Despite being called Grand Dad, he isn't shown to be anyone's grandfather.
- Off-Model: His title screen sprite is miscolored and he appears to have either bloody teeth or no teeth at all.
- Older Than They Look: He doesn't look much older than Mario, but the name Grand Dad seems to indicate that he's elderly.
- Palette Swap: Of Fortran, a poor recreation of Mario from a bootleg slot machine game.
- Pokémon Speak: As shown in various videos, he seems to be only able to communicate by screaming "FLEENSTONES?!". One of the only times that this is averted is in "Menu - Garfield".
- Power Trio: Part of the channel's main meme trio in 2016 (along with Nozomi and Tito Dick), acting as The Leader.
- Say My Name: GRAND DAD?!?
- Scary Teeth: Teeth that look like they're covered in blood.
- Shoddy Knockoff Product: Where he came from.
- Technicolor Eyes: His eyes have orange sclera and blue irises. They also appear to have no pupils.
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair: Which is the same color as the title screen background.
μ's in general

- Birthday Episode: Several on their respective birthdays. Nozomi's started the tradition of having a full-length mashup with their respective "Snow halation" solos. This held until the September 30th original ending.
- This allegedly stopped with Haltmann's takeover, as he claims celebrating idol birthdays is unprofitable. In reality, the remaining idol birthdays were still celebrated, but on the wrong birthdays.
- Death Is Cheap: The group has been killed and brought back multiple times, including:
- The normal ending of the reboot, which sees "Snow halation" erased from the channel. In the true ending, it's brought back through the power of the MF LIKE BUTTON.
- Much later, The Voice kills them all, except for Nozomi, as seen on the Twitter account
through "Idol
Be Gone" as shown on Willie Weasel's (a member of the SiIvaGunner team) Twitter account. It's worth noting that so far none of this has been mentioned on the channel proper except for a small comment by Haltmann during "Loves The Ladies"
.
- Umi comes back in "Agent Yoru o Yuku"
from The Idolmaster.note
- Honoka, Kotori, Eli, and Umi, again, come back in "Unlockable Song 3"
from Love Live! School Idol Festival, only for Honoka to seemingly get killed again by Jotaro Kujo.
- Maki comes back in "Unknown from M.E. (20th Anniversary ver.)"
from Sonic Adventure.note
- Umi comes back in "Agent Yoru o Yuku"
- In Memoriam: "See You Again"
from Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious seems to be a funeral video for Umi, uploaded on her birthday (3/15).
- The Power of Love: "Snow halation" is shown to represent this trope during the reboot's true ending.
- Slippy-Slidey Ice World: "Snow halation" is often used in rips of snow/ice-based levels.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: The mere existence of "Snow halation" caused a lot of discourse within the fanbase, which then resulted in the Continuity Reboot.
Nico
A member of μ's who is well known for her Catchphrase, "Nico Nico Nii".
- Alternate Self: An English-speaking Nico appears in the in-game version of "Snow halation".
- Back from the Dead: After seemingly dying alongside μ's and "Snow halation" after the events of the reboot, she is brought back to life thanks to the power of the MF LIKE BUTTON. At least until the Christmas Comeback Crisis (see below.)
- Birthday Episode: "Love Novels (NICO Mix)" is one for her.
- Catchphrase: "Nico Nico Nii~!"
- Companion Cube: A "smol" version of herself, which she uses to make herself feel better after her One-Person Birthday Party. Subverted as it's sentient and dislikes her birthday.
- Killed Offscreen: According to the Twitter account
, the Voice killed her alongside the rest of µ's excluding Nozomi
.
- One-Person Birthday Party: Because everyone forgot about it.
- Title Scream: In the Japanese version
of Super Mario 64.
- Vocal Dissonance: Her voice in Nico Puri Joushi Dou
is way too masculine for a teenage girl.
- Soulja Boy, Snoop Dogg, Quad City DJ's, Chip tha Ripper (Covered in Rapper's Union, see the Christmas Comeback Crisis section)
- PSY ("Gangnam Style")
- Smash Mouth ("All-Star")
- Gorillaz ("Feel Good Inc.", "Stylo")
- Linkin Park ("Crawling")
- Childish Gambino ("Bonfire")
- Drake ("Hotline Bling")
- Darude ("Sandstorm")
- A Ha ("Take On Me")
- Maroon 5
- Hiroyuki Sawano
- Paul McCartney (Temporary Secretary/Jerry Temporary)
- Santana ("Smooth")
- Silento ("Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae")
- John Coltrane ("Giant Steps")
- Sean Kingston ("Beautiful Girls")
- Daft Punk (Commonly used in rips from the Jet Set Radio games)
- Aphex Twin
Tropes
- Creator's Favorite: Maroon 5 is Chaze the Chat's favorite band, and he isn't afraid to include their music on SiIvaGunner from time to time. He's also stated that every album contains at least one Maroon 5 reference.
- Fictional Video Game: Maroon GO
, an obvious parody of Pokémon GO.
- Fanwork Ban:
- "All-Star".
- "Hotline Bling", but only due to copyright concerns. The Kidz Bop cover is allowed, and thus, it's usually used instead.
- Pun: Super Mario Draker
.
- Siamese Twin Songs: "Hotline Bling" and the Wii Shop Channel music, thanks to "Wii Shop Bling"
, a well-known mashup of the two by channel contributor Toonlink.
