@snafu — You should expand the paragraphs about the Kanzuki Zaibatsu, Ibuki, and Heihachi/Kuma. Otherwise, the profile itself looks adequate enough.

Beta draft for the Salamanca Family, they're basically the most recurring of the Cartel seen in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul outside of Gus's operations.

For suggestions, criminal gangs (especially other cartel members) are obvious. I would also like to ask about crime-based Bad Bosses for Hector, insane and psychotic types and those with a penchant for torture like Tuco, hitmen or assassins for Marco and Leonel (bonus points if they also inspire fear and dread), and maybe eccentric and highly competent criminals like Lalo. Of course, anyone who had to deal with drugs or engaged in constant battles against gangs like the Salamancas would also work. Finally, any rival gangs and enemies like any law enforcement who would take issue in their acts as well as generally anyone who is opposed to or had their lives ruined by drugs?

Any additional thoughts and ideas are appreciated.

• Of all that encompasses crime organization types, very few can match the brutality and mercilessness of the Cartel, which put a tendency in their criminal activities with military-style weaponry and authority, being unfettered in their distribution of drugs, weapons, and money, and generally striking fear in whatever way possible to the extent where even innocents who would so much as glance at them for a split second wouldn't be safe from their wrath and callousness. The Salamanca Family were one such family gang who encompassed most that people would associate the Cartel with; bloodthirsty, sadistic, sociopathic, and caring nothing of who was involved with their actions. An elite part of the Juarez Cartel headed by Don Eladio Vuente, the Salamancas were led by their patriarch, Don Hector, who was proud to show off his ruthlessness and his position within the greater cartel ranks as part of Eladio's top lieutenants. Of Hector's many nephews who made for notable members of his family and the Cartel, there was Tuco, who was defined by his impulsive insanity and penchant for making sadistic threats and remarks, twins Marco and Leonel who were incredibly effective as hitmen and inspired a sense of creepiness and dread not many could exude, and Lalo, the most successful and influential member of the Salamancas who was masterful in nearly any operation and objective he took part in and was among the Cartel's most valued members. The family would face a series of crises which escalated when Hector suffered a potentially fatal stroke in the middle of an argument, leaving him horribly crippled and forced to rely on his closest nephews and lackeys.
• Outside of their profession, the Cartel is best defined by their undying hatred and enmity against Gustavo Fring, a rival Cartel member and drug manufacturer who headed a fast food chain as a cover for his criminal operations. This infamous feud started when Hector nonchalantly killed Gus's drug partner and lover, Maximino Arciniega, which became the primary impetus for Gus's everlasting desire for revenge. Although a number of mishaps and misfortunes occurred, Gus managed to kill Don Eladio, and all of the Salamanca leaving Hector as the Last of His Kind, and permanently cripple the Juarez Cartel, but thanks to a certain Doom Magnet by the name of Walter White, Gus was killed in a self-bomb trap set up by Walt and Hector with Hector setting off the explosion. And though the Salamanca were no more, Hector did take their Arch-Enemy with him, ensuring that Gus's desire for revenge ended with his death as well. And yet, that wasn't the end for either of them, for Hector, Lalo, Tuco, Marco, and Leonel would eventually resurface in the Pantheon alongside Gus, and with both parties more than willing to continue with their feud.
• As the Pantheon representatives of Cartels at large, the Salamancas are easily feared and treated with caution, especially since Hector has been restored to his prime and Lalo is also resuming being active in his battles against Gus, though Walt has also become a recurring adversary in spite of him helping Hector to kill Gus. With the Juarez Cartel being rejected by them as potential heralds, the Salamancas were free to align with whoever criminal they believe would benefit them in their usual business of drug and weapon trafficking and asserting their town authority in whatever territory they may occupy. However, despite their reputation, the Salamancas are rather dysfunctional, with Hector being prone to throwing condescending remarks to almost everybody and making negative racial remarks and Tuco being so uncontrollably insane to the point of attacking and killing his partners for even praising him and his reckless actions derailing whatever business plans they may make with other criminals. The Twins and Lalo are more controlled in their schemes and mentality, with the latter in particular being so effective in his job that many would believe he alone would have been the sole Cartel representative in the Pantheon had it not been for his loyalty towards his uncle. Whatever way you look at it, the Salamancas are a dangerous group that few would consider stumbling across and have asserted themselves as among the most vicious of the many gangs that have represented the Pantheon.

Hello again! I've done a bit of updates since I last posted here (mainly adding a lot more information/descriptions), so now I wanna share once again to see if she's ready for the Pantheon at large.

Chimata Tenkyuu, Goddess of Wealth (God of the Unowned, God of Gensokyo's Markets)

• As one of the newest to pass into the land of fantasy, Chimata has plenty to prove for herself, especially as a goddess for a particular sect of human growth- the act of trade. With exchanging and bartering face-to-face evolving out into things such as credit, deliveries, and online marketplaces, she lost faith to the point of weakness and potentially even death and being forgotten. In fact, that would have been her fate had it not been for her initial move to Gensokyo...and then fighting off its Incident Resolvers trying to convince them that the Ability Card trade was harmless.
  • Of all people, it was Marisa Kirisame who suggested her to be ascended, since they had collaborated before. All of the previously mentioned points and then some more tidbits afterwards was all that was needed for her ascension. Many were rather surprised by this, especially Reimu Hakurei, who accompanied Marisa that day.
• Dislikes those fueled by greed, as she is a little bitter over her deal with Megumu Iizunamaru falling through, though in no small part due to Tsukasa Kudamaki. Evenmoreso if these money-mongering folk try and 1-up her during her markets, and in fact, she'll take things out on anyone if they break the rules she sets when she opens up shop, even by accident. The Bone Cousins learned of this the hard way when Phoney tried to scam Chimata out of a deal a few days after her ascension, which resulted in all three being sent swiftly to the House of Health & Diseases for a week of recovery, and Chimata being subsequently banned from the Hall of Character Writing for her outburst there. The blame did fall between both parties, but moreso on Phoney for the entire Hall losing out on a potential trade partner.
• Isn't really fond of black markets, especially after Takane Yamashiro set up one for the Ability Cards. With Marisa's aid, that issue was...well, not exactly as taken care of as one may believe, but it's harmless enough, as said black market remained open, but Chimata resumed oversight for the trade at large. To this day since then, she still doesn't have too much good to say about these, but has been spotted perusing through quite a few in the Pantheon, but it is never confirmed if she bought anything.
• Her affinity with cards through the Ability Card trade has landed her in the company of some Yu-Gi-Oh! deities, and now she partners with them on some occasions as a liaison between trading parties. Sometimes, you may even see her trying the game out herself, usually playing against Jesse Anderson, due to their shared affinity for a rainbow motif and being pretty particular LGBTQ+ icons. Other times, you'll find her having a chat with Maximillion Pegasus, playfully debating about the fine details of card design, ranging from effects to artwork and everything in between.
  • Surprisingly doesn't hold Seto Kaiba to a high degree, but it's easy to understand why- despite him usually operating under her rules, Kaiba is rather stern and somewhat uncaring about his transactions. This upsets Chimata slightly as his attitude isn't really ceremonious, which doesn't bode well for her faith.
  • Chimata got banned, again, this time from the Hall of Sportsmanship after obscenely tearing through it in a fit of rage from Bandit Keith trying to swindle her out. Despite many advising Keith not to do just that, his ego and confidence said otherwise. These outbursts of her did actually attract the Hall of Anger, to which some found her berserk state to be quite the attraction.
• Rainbows are pretty much Chimata's entire schtick- her outfit, last name (being a dialetic and literary form of the Chinese word for "rainbow"), and even the time when she would personally trade Ability Cards prior to her ascension, being during a lunar rainbow. This allowed her to get along rather well with Rainbow Dash, as besides both of them having a lot to do with rainbows, they both seem to have a pretty decent loop with each other- Dash can provide the weather and conditions needed for Chimata to set up market, and in return, they split whatever profit they earned. Chimata spends her shares towards her business, while Rainbow Dash spends hers on...sci-fi memorabilia. Certainly better than Chimata's deal with Megumu, at least.
• Her zipper-laden outfit has once garnered the attention of Bruno Bucciarati. Let's just say that the makeover that Chimata's clothes got that day was...interesting, to say the least. When Sanae Kochiya was approached to give her perspective about that moment, as she had been an eyewitness, she recalled that her reaction was less than miraculous. And as for the rest of Bucciarati's gang, that one moment almost made them wanna consider adding the goddess to their ranks as their finance & inventory handler, but she respectfully denied that offer, stating that if anything, she would rather be business partners with them so as to not earn stigma from more unsavory groups.
• Regardless of intent, Chimata doesn't really like thieves, as, well, they can potentially disrupt her markets in some way or form. The only exceptions, and only barely so, to this rule are the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, as what they steal is highly specific (being desires, which makes Chimata wonder what would happen if they collaborated with Toyosatomimi no Miko), and that she has agreed to be a courier for their targets, slipping them their Calling Cards if needed. She hopes that in the future, she would be also able to utilize the Metaverse as a way to expand her business and even aid the Thieves by bringing in more supplies.
• Her arrival in the House of Commerce has definitely gotten some of their members, as well as the members of other Houses once things spiraled outward, talking and offering and bartering and all that.
  • Absolutely loathes Brand X, as the day after her arrival, they began mass-producing their own Ability Cards- and even Spell Cards- in an attempt to run her out of business immediately. Fortunately, this also pissed off a lot of the other Touhou deities, as not only this enroached upon their own design space, but they also became aware that actions like these legitimately cause Chimata pain, so they teamed up to halt the corporation's production entirely. Montgomery Burns found this amusing, but Scrooge McDuck was significantly less pleased by this. Seto Kaiba remained indifferent.
  • A lot of the Demigods and Quasideities within the House, being mainly merchants and benefactors, quickly rallied to support Chimata after that incident, and as a result, her connections became far and vast, reaching most if not all of the Houses across the Pantheon. This kind of put her at odds with some of the Intermediate and even Greater Deities, however, as people like Sundowner and corporations like Lobotomy Corp. began to take notice of her shocking rise. They took notes and kept a close eye, however- they wouldn't want to share the same fate as Megumu Iizunamaru or Brand X.
  • Among many new contacts, the Epic Battle Fantasy Team managed to get ahold of her very quickly as a result of her gained power from beating back Brand X. Both she and the team quickly warmed up well, as not only did they have interesting cards to share (Ability Cards for Chimata, & Monster Cards for the Team), but the latter had also gotten to the rhythm of fighting with danmaku very, very well. Both sides consider their partnership to be relatively smooth and as-usual, with the Team calling their favors for the God of the Unowned simple fetch quests.
  • Both the Dealer and Heath Stonebrew were rather intrigued by Chimata's offerings, though they waited out the rush of people making deals with her so that they can have their own offers be proposed in a calm, natural order. Chimata, in return, seemed to like what they had in store and very much appreciates their neutral, respectful nature, and therefore treats them as such in return. Since then, when hosting her markets, she may often impart some helpful knowledge on how to play the games these two represent (being the Game of Life & Death and Hearthstone, respectively), and sometimes splurges a bit of her earnings at Heath's tavern afterwards, where she makes more deals, offers, and even plays a game of Hearthstone or two.
• Is actually often seen at the Hall of Anger, usually led there by others trying to calm her down when someone broke her market's rules. Chimata is afterwards is taken to the House of Health and Medicine, usually as a result of fatigue and exhaustion from letting loose a little too much, to recuperate. These outbursts, which happen surprisingly more frequently than one may expect, has caused a few of her investors to calmly cut off deals with her, and making everyone else associated with her a bit more wary- even those trying to usurp her place in the Pantheon's business world.

If you're the god of money and can create an infinite amount of it as long as you have a Gnosis, then of course your budgeting skills will be terrible. But what you said might be a joke.

For Sage Shorty the Squirrel/Shortfuse The Cybernik would be an enemy. Sage wants to protect her father, Shorty goes after Robotnik to stop him on and for all.

So here's Homestar Runner. A resident of Free Country, USA, he's known as either a "terrific athlete" or a blundering moron depending on who you ask. Either way, he's a kind if dim fellow who gets involved in all sorts of shenanigans, often as the result of his ditziness.

• So a few early shorts show that Homestar dislikes cheaters, and is willing to go out of his way to thwart them (if he notices them at all at least). Any blatant cheaters around?

• Everyone loves Homestar Runner! He's a terrific athlete! More specifically, he's a well-known resident of the quirky state of Free Country, USA, and is considered its best (and only real) athlete. Generally a friendly, well meaning guy, his fairly lackluster intelligence and questionable way of thinking usually gets in the way of things, resulting in annoyance for some people he interacts with. Generally this involves Strong Bad, the local jerk that Homestar is convinced he's best friends with, though even his quote-unquote "girlfriend" Marzipan can find him quite insufferable, resulting in the two repeatedly breaking up. Other interests include him being the closest thing Free Country has to law enforcement, participating in Strong Bad's Dangeresque films as a variety of characters, hosting his own Email show that nobody knew existed, and generally just doing whatever comes to mind. While he's slightly less prominent these days thanks to Strong Bad, overall it's hard to think of Free Country without Homestar: his name's on the title after all.
• Since his title series was massively influential for future Web Animations, The Pantheon thought it appropriate to bring Homestar up to the realm. Having revived an invitation in the mail, Homestar gladly filled out the form and sent it back to the Pantheon, having mistaken the realm for some sort of "fancy vacation getaway". It wasn't until he arrived (okay, a whole day after he arrived) that he realized that he was chosen for godhood and so he went to the Court of the Gods to be properly ascended. Given the title of The Ditz thanks to his endearingly scatterbrained personality, he had his temple arranged and settled down, celebrating with a cool glass of Melonade. Shortly afterwards, he made arguments for his "friends" Strong Bad and Marzipan to ascend, having missed their company, with Bubs later joining the group on his own. Homestar generally spends his time getting into competitions, attempting to strike up conversations with his fellow gods, and generally just being an odd but nice fellow.

@ The Salamancas: Tend to give Vass Montenegro odd looks, due to him being a even more unhinged version of Nacho Varga.

Also not a huge fan of John Rambo, given how he single-handedly massacred a horde of their Cartel buddies.

The Twins have nothing but the utmost respect for John Wick, and will not even try and make a play for the bounty on his head. That respect is also given to Crying Freeman and his wife, Emu Hino. Standing orders are not to arouse the ire of the two.

Also tend to give Golgo 13 and Beatrix Kiddo a wide berth. Last thing they want is to be on their hitlist.

Fans of El Mariachi's music. But El is in the enemy category due to the bodies of the druglords he left in his wake.

@Nitro: Your profile still would need more writing overall. You could try adding in info on its evolutions, for one. Could also expand on further relations (Platypet would still try to stay away from Hedorah in its usual giant state), or elaborate on relations with specific Water-type using Pokemon trainers (Misty would obviously like it due to it reminding her of her Psyduck, and oppose Maxie and Archie due to their extremist goals, though maybe with conflicted opinion on the latter.) It would be allies with Aquaman, but on the other hand have to worry about being hunted by Black Manta.

• As a species, Platypet shares a recent common ancestor with Saipat, and is found on two islands of the Airborne Archipelago: the Mediterranean Deniz, and the barren wasteland Tucma. Being a Water and Toxic type, it is well-adapted to both. It's the star of a cartoon series that teaches kids that Toxic-types can be good friends, too. It evolves into Platox, which evolves into Platimous, which don't change much besides getting bigger and meaner-looking. The line are among the most successful apex predators in the Archipelago, and they're effective special attackers in the hands of Tamers.
• This particular Platypet originates from the Xolot Reservoir in Tucma. He's carefree, lives in the moment, and doesn't have a resentful bone in his body. His Signature Move is Cheer Up; in battle, it allows the target to use certain techniques one turn earlier than usual, but it also makes him a great cheerleader. He's not very smart, but that just makes him cuter.
• He nonchalantly wandered into the House of Popularity by mistake, probably because he became fixated on the star-patterned walls. Initially the gods tried to shoo away the intruder, but then Haruhi Suzumiya realised that he had an interesting metafictional history — he was originally a fan-made Pokémon design, but was submitted to Temtem by a Kickstarter backer — and offered to make him a god. Platypet didn't understand what that meant, but accepted anyway.
• While he technically belongs to the House of Popularity, he's more often seen in the House of Beasts and Fauna, usually chilling in ponds near temples. He also visits the Hall of Water and Moisture a lot; while he prefers to stick to the shallows, he's more than capable of defending himself from the monsters lurking in the deep. He keeps well away from Lagiacrus, though.
• His heralds are among the strongest tamers in the Archipelago, and all four of them occasionally use Platimous in high-level battles. His followers are the other Temtem who were submitted to the game by Kickstarter backers, though none of them had designs beforehand.
• Pikachu was wary of Platypet at first, thinking that Temtem were encroaching upon Pokémon's territory, but the other Pokémon convinced him that they could co-exist. Meanwhile, Platypet is scared of Pikachu because electricity is one of his elemental weaknesses. Platypet struck up an Odd Friendship with the similarly-typed Qwilfish, and respects most Poison and Water Pokémon. He also gets along with other monotremes such as Perry and Knuckles; other Mons such as the similarly-carefree piñatas and the good Digimon (except HerkuleKabuterimon); and the Octonauts because they've helped platypi in the past. Steve Irwin respects all creatures in the Pantheon, and he reminds Misty of her Psyduck. The Warners occasionally drag Platypet into their shenanigans under the mistaken belief that he's an Animated Actor like them, but he doesn't mind.
• Within the Hall of Fanbase, he's scared of 9-Volt and 16-Volt because he thinks they have electric powers, but they think he's adorable. Platypet also keeps well away from the Hall of Enemies for two reasons: Slimes fear him because he looks similar to their rivals, the Platypunks; and he's scared of the Zubat and Golbat colony because he's weak to Wind, which is similar to Flying. Also, Fairy-type Pokémon fear him because he's the local equivalent of a Poison-type; Grass-types less so, because he takes neutral damage from Green Thumb attacks.
• Being so carefree, Platypet has few outright enemies. Pokémon Hunter J is interested in targeting anything Pokémon-like, so he's gotten into fights with her a few times. Being a Toxic-type who thrives in the acidic waters of Tucma, where the air is thick with volcanic ash, he completely No Sells Hexxus and Hedorah's pollution, which baffles them, though Platypet is slightly intimidated by the latter's size. Judge Doom hates the fact that the Platypet species is the star of a cartoon, even though this Platypet has nothing to do with it. Maxie and Archie feel awkward around Platypet because his homeland reminds them both of how horribly their plans could've gone.

Question: Is there anyone reworking the profiles of Selena Recital (formerly Goddess of Bouncing Breasts in the Hall of Female Anatomy) and Guile (formerly God of Simple but Practical Combat and Charging Attacks in the Hall of Offensive Powers)?

I don't think anyone is currently reworking those two.

Okay. I will make a proposal.

• Major Guile, God of Charge-Input Special Moves: As the American icon of international fighting games, Guile's signature Sonic Boom and Flash Kick moves are the most prominent and consistent examples of the gameplay-input charge attack, with the Sonic Boom in fact being the first ever page image for the trope. He has not only executed these moves as charge-input from his first appearance in Street Fighter II all the way up to his upcoming appearance in Street Fighter 6 (unlike his best friend Charlie Nash, who deviated from this in Street Fighter V for very character-related reasons), but the special-move versions of these techniques have been routinely animated in such a way to suggest that he truly does typically start building up to those moves from a defensive position such as guarding with his arms or crouching.

For Selena, Gainaxing is off the table now, Jiggle Physics technically applies more to characters directly involved in gameplay, Technicolor Ninjas already has a crew on the trope...wait, I might have an idea...

Why is Gainaxing off the table? Is it because it might go to TRS soon?

There are other tropes in that page that could be use it it fits.

Should Street Fighter characters be in the Hype Prevention Sandbox until Street Fighter 6 comes out? At least Guile should be in it since he is already confirmed returning.
