Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

"Zu'u lost daal." note

On that note, I should alert you folks that the Hall of Ruin and Destruction has gotten really big and would most likely need a split soon. I was thinking maybe a Hall of Genocidal Acts could be something, but who knows?

@M1gami — Maybe you could add something regarding Black Manta, but other than that, I've got nothing else, so here's a [tup].

Suggestion time...

  • Connor Kent/SuperboyCivvie Spandex
    • Profile is not in the best of shape, so there's your reason for improvement. As for the trope, Connor contrasts many superheroes, especially the Superman Family in that his costumes are much more grounded in real-life fashion with the House of El logo being the main signifier of his superhero identity as Superboy. He starts with a leather jacket as a way to look distinctive and popular, though it also represents his naivety and immaturity, later followed by just a black t-shirt with the Superman logo to signify his maturity and drive for responsibility. Adding to that, Connor is one of the most notable superheroes who prefers to wear casual clothes as his main outfit.
  • Shirayuki and Zen WisteriaSingle Woman Seeks Good Man
    • Shirayuki is a herbalist from Tanburn who becomes acquainted with Zen, the second-in-line prince of Clarines after both save each other on separate occasions, with Shirayuki herself becoming an apprentice court pharmacist. While the two start as friends, Shirayuki begins to grow more affectionate for Zen and vice-versa until the two realize their feelings have grown into romance. Unlike most characters who are interested in Shirayuki mainly for her red hair, Zen is mainly focused on her personality and desire to help others, which is the primary reason why Shirayuki fell in love with Zen as he consistently proves himself a hardworking and affable man who is more than willing to help others out for the sake of it.
  • Jack ReacherThe Drifter
    • Jack Reacher is an ex-military policeman who decides to spend his life traveling around after serving a decade of military service for varying reasons. Most of the time, however, he would stumble across various criminal conspiracies, murder sprees, terroristic plots, and other villainous activities and he ends up getting involved in trying to stop them. Though no longer acting under the force, Jack is willing to do what he can to help others in need and stop said threats using all the skills and knowledge he's gained from his past experiences. Of course, once the threat is dealt with, he'll leave to travel again.

I should note that there's the Reacher series which has just wrapped up its second season and there's an upcoming third. In my defense, the series is based upon a series of books and there's more than enough material in the books to go around if necessary, I can take my time and focus on other works before I build up enough motivation to work on bringing Reacher into the Pantheon after a couple of months have passed.

Battler Ushiromiya, God of Magic Resistance (Battler-Kyo, BATTLER, Endless Sorceror, Tooya Hachijō)

Battler as the Endless Sorceror

Tooya Hachijō

  • Demigod, Greater God as the Endless Sorceror BATTLER

  • Theme: Dread of the Grave and remixes , Endless Nine

  • Symbol: The Ushiromiya Eagle, his cape and Golden Sword of Truth as the Endless Sorceror

  • Alignment: Neutral Good

  • Portfolio: WALKING SPOILER, Denies Witches and Magic even when it's in his face, Determinator, Forgiving and Loving Hero, Fiery Redhead, Badass Bookworm, Chivalrous Pervert but still fights girls the same, ENDLESS NINE, Turning around the chessboard, fights with fists, became more logical and less perverted over time, his broken promise to Sayo setting the plot motion, becoming the Endless Sorceror, marries Batrice, Died in Rokkejima, but Tohya Hachijo survived, joined his family in the Golden Land while Tohya survived

  • Domains: Logic, Bravery, Magic, Love, Promises

  • Heralds: Ange Ushiromiya, Piece the Witch

  • Allies: Beatrice the Golden Witch ( his wife), Wright Anything Agency, Lambdadelta, Issei Hyodo, Rika Furude, Keiichi Maebara, Kiritsugu Emiya, Ange, Lelouch vi Britannia, Makoto Naegi, Touma Kamijou

  • Conflicting views: Jin Kazama

  • Wary of: King Arthur, Jeanne d'Arc Alter, Dark Pit, Daenerys I Targaryen

  • Rivals: Shirou Emiya, Shiki Tohno, Ren Fujii

  • Enemies: Lord Tirek, Bernkastel (for now), Voldemort, Emperor Belos, Junko Enoshima and Monokuma, Charles vi Brittania, Embryo, Beatrice's enemies

  • When most people come face to face with magic or other supernatural phenomena, they're usually quick to incorporate it into their new worldview. However, what if, no matter the evidence, for whatever reason refused to believe in its existence despite witches being right in front of you? And furthermore, what if you could resist said magic? This is the situation that Battler Ushiromiya found himself in.
    • Battler was the 18-year-old son of Rudolph Ushiromiya, naturally a member of the wealthy Ushiromiya family. However, he had been estranged from his family for 6 years due to being angry at his father for remarrying so soon after his mother's death. He was excited to reunite with his relatives a the Ushiromiya Family conference, held on the island of Rokkenjima in the family mansion on October 4th and 5th, 1986. However, after they received a mysterious letter from the Golden Witch Beatrice, his family started being killed off one by one, seemingly by magic. However, he refused to believe that the murders were done by anything except human means and challenged the witch himself in a series of games testing his logic and reasoning in the form of locked-room murders.
    • However, as the games went on the situation began to change. Battler came to realize the truth behind the murders, and how his actions had contributed to Sayo Yusada's loneliness and later madness. With this knowledge of the truth, he became the game master of the board, managed to revive and then marry Beatrice/Sayo, and finally helped his little sister Ange defeat Benkastel so that she could continue living with the memory of her family in her heart. Decades later, Ange would learn that Battler did survive the events of Rokkenjima, but that he had lost his memory and that the new personality Tohya Hachijo had emerged. However, thanks to Ange's intervention, Battler's memories within Tohya were able to free themselves and join the rest of his family in the Golden Land, happily ever after.

  • It would have been a great early Halloween Party in the House of Magic and Sorcery, if not for Lord Tirek running wild and sucking the magic out of all the deities there. Because he had already begun to gain a large amount of power, the only thing that even the more powerful magic users in the house could do was run away and hope that they were not caught. However, amid the chaos a young man with firey red hair stepped out to challenge the rampaging Centaur. Tirek thought that this small fry would be easily dealt with, and so fired a simple beam of magic. To his surprise, after the smoke cleared the man appeared no worse for wear.
Lord Tirek: Impossible, that magic beam was enough to destroy a Greater God!
Battler: It's useless, all useless! Now, my turn! punches Tirek
    • Needless to say, the day was saved, and Lord Tirek had a long hospital stay after the incident.

  • The first deity to greet Battler upon his ascension was of course the Golden Witch Beatrice, who was now also his wife. The relationship between the two has greatly improved since their first meeting, and deities will sometimes see the two around the Pantheon playing chess or reading mystery novels together, although in a somewhat confrontational manner. Battler has generally helped Beatrice stay a relatively good and pleasant person compared to the sadistic witch she used to be, which is a relief to some victims of her endless trolling. Do not be mistaken: while Beatrice's Allies may not be Battler's, they share enemies. If any villain wants to go after one of them, they'll have to go through both.
    • Battler is immensely grateful to Lambdadelta for helping him and Ange fight Bernkastel and preserve Beatrice's catbox, but is slightly wary about hanging around her too often due to her notoriously fickle behavior. Nevertheless, he will let Beatrice make the final decision on whether she wants to join the Itazura Griefers, even though he knows that her doing so will only complicate their life in the Pantheon.
    • Battler has a more complicated relationship with Bernkastel. While he has tried numerous times to redeem or even just befriend Bernkastel, she has rejected every attempt or even twisted it to hurt his loved ones, so for now they are still enemies. While contemplating why the witch of Miracles was so set in her ways, Battler happened to run into a girl who looked almost exactly like Bernkastel but without a tail named Rika Furude. The two quickly became friends with each other as they bonded over their experiences in time loops filled with slaughter. After meeting Rika, she introduced Battler to her friends, which included Keiichi Maebara, who Battler found to be very similar to himself in terms of their relationships with women and determination to protect their loved ones, and Battler is now friends with the Hinamizawa crew. Rika explained how Bernkastel is a product of the anguish of all those Rikas across timelines. Battler agreed to do what he could in Rika's plan to save the various Rikas across fragments, thereby weakening Bernkastel but also reducing her suffering.

  • While Battler initially challenged Beatrice intending to disprove the existence of witches, he now realizes that destroying magic shouldn't be his goal, especially after he realized the truth behind the Rokkenjima massacres. Nowadays, he engages in logic battles against wishes in order to make them feel less lonely, although he is still eager to fight against evil magic users. This has drawn the ire of those who oppose magic outright such as Anti-Mage, who think that he could have been a great ally against magic if he had ascended earlier. Emperor Belos of the Boiling Isles also thought that Battler would be a great ally against the magic of witches until he learned that he's married to a witch, which instantly put Battler on his blacklist. Battler doesn't really mind though; he's just for an opportunity to teach the genocidal witch hunter a lesson.
    • While the GUAG no longer has a Magus Killers Division, Battler is considered an honorary member and has allied with some former members such as Kiritsugu Emiya. Despite not being trained in combat he's no slouch in a fight, as combined with his abilities as a sorcerer and his magic resistance he is adept at using the Red, Blue, and Golden truths to win logic battles against opponents. While the Blue and Red Truths work the same as they do for other users (propose a truth unless disproven, report the mere truth), Golden Truth is a bit more unique: what exactly it represents has never been fully clarified, although it is sometimes weaker and sometimes stronger than Red truth. Some suspect that Golden Truth is truth by conviction, which is fitting for its users Battler and Ange. In fact, his use of the golden truth is so unique among sorcerers and witches that it forms his main weapon, the Golden Sword of Truth. However, in ost battles he elects to use his fists instead of the sword for some reason.
    • During his games against Beatrice, one of his greatest assets besides deductive reasoning is Endless Nine, which is a special name describing his magic resistance. It describes how he has a magic resistance stat of 999,999,999, which in practice means that he can ignore attacks if he does not believe in the thing that will hurt him, namely magic. It was originally assumed that it was some sort of Plot Armor indicating his role as the detective in Beatrice's games, but after he used it to shrug off an attack in the City of Books outside of Rokkenjima, it has been acknowledged that Endless Nine is truly a powerful ability, which has led to his ascension under the trope of magic resistance. While its strength depends on his determination to resist, it oddly did not weaken after he started to somewhat accept the existence of magic, which some suspect means that Endless Nine is more a form of defensive reality-warping rather than just denial. As a side note, the ability seems to be somewhat heredity, as Battler's grandfather Kinzo also has a high magic resistance, and his little sister Ange also has Endless Nine. When asked about it, Battler explains that Endless Nine is not actually an ability, but rather a representation of his stubbornness and determination to prove a certain truth. How that works is anyone's guess.
      • Endless Nine, combined with his formidable powers as the Endless Sorceror, have led to many a victory for the side of good, especially against evil mages. There have been many times when an opposing mage threw everything they had at Battler, only for him to shrug it off and punch them for their trouble. In one notable battle, Battler took an Avada Kedavra straight to the heart from Voldemort and proceeded to beat the tar out of the noseless wizard. Needless to say, Battler is banned from magical combat tournaments.

      • However, as Bernkastel has shown, the ability does have a limit for how much magic it can take, especially if one had the same amount of authority as him as a Game Master. Additionally, he is still vulnerable to normal technological weapons and whatnot.
    • As a determined, idealistic hero with resistance against supernatural forces who is smooth with the ladies, Battler is often compared with Touma Kamijou, whose Imagine Breaker allows him to literally punch and nullify supernatural powers. Naturally, the two get along very well, often teaming up teaming to fight evil mages. Battler is also trying to introduce Touma to the wonder of Mystery Novels, but it hasn't worked so far. The two have also bonded over being forced to experience endless torture scenarios by witches intending to break their spirits, although Touma is impressed by how Battler seems to have taken those events much better than even he did. When it comes to their abilities, Endless Nine is inferior due to being a purely defensive ability compared to Imagine Breaker's offensive nullifying ability. However, Battler's ability is passive which means that he cannot be caught by surprise or restrained to neutralize him; additionally, his abilities as a Sorceror and fighter mean that Battler is the more versatile fighter, while Touma has been known to be caught off guard by human threats such as street muggers.
      • On a similar one is sure how Endless Nine compared to Asuna Kagurazaka's ability to nullify magic meant to harm her. While her Magic of Destruction and Creation is also more offensively oriented like Imagine Breaker, it's speculated that Endless Nine has a wider definition of "Magic" and might also be able to nullify powers meant to cancel supernatural abilities (as they are supernatural). Discussions about this immovable object vs unstoppable-force dilemma have confused many deities, but luckily Battler and Asuna have agreed to do an experiment once and for all one day.

  • During his time in the Pantheon, Battler has encountered or heard of other deities who got caught up in supernatural occurrences while also attracting women, namely Shirou Emiya, Shiki Tohno, and Ren Fujii. While he does not feel the same competitive animosity against them as they do to each other, he still considers them rivals. However, he is also willing to team up with them against greater threats as well.

  • During his games against Beatrice, Battler had to quickly pick up the rules of the Game Board while also dealing with the trauma of seeing his family be killed over and over and trying to deny the existence of witches. While he learned about as fast as one would expect from an average person, some of his defenses are still made fun of, especially his "small bombs" theory. Whenever he hears about it, Battler always replies that Beatrice never denied the Blue Truth with a Red Truth, which means that it's still a valid theory.
    • Now that he time to relax, Battler has gone back to a hobby that he used to engage in a lot when he was younger: detective novels. Not only does he read a lot of detective fiction, but he is also a huge fan of detectives from those mysteries (especially "fair play" mysteries), and has made it a hobby to meet as many of them as he can in the Pantheon. So far he met the likes of Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Batman, and Conan Edogawa. While the detectives initially regarded him as just another fan, after they learned about Battler's exploit of learning the truth behind Beatrice's game they realized that in a way he had become a true detective. They were so impressed that they nominated him as a reserve member of the GUAG Solution Sleuths.
      • One day while trying to find the famous detective Kogoro Akechi, Battler instead found Goro Akechi, a "detective prince" famous for solving cases in the modern day. However, someone (likely Haru Okumura of the Phantom Thieves) tipped him off about his true nature as the Black Mask. Enraged that someone would use supernatural powers to commit murders while pretending to be a detective (reminding him of not one but 'two witches he had tussled with), Battler directly confronted Akechi about his past. To Battler's surprise, Akechi admitted that the rumors were true, and told Battler about his past as a bastard child of Shido and his attempt to tear down his father's influence at the height of his power. Battler, who was familiar with the feeling of being an illegitimate child due to some precise Red Truths from Beatrice as well as how growing up without love could lead a person to homicidal madness, dropped his hostility and instead decided to befriend Akechi. Nowadays, Battler is one of Akechi's more traditionally heroic friends, defending his redemption to critics and encouraging him to be a better person than he was before. His friendship with Akechi also let him confirmed that Endless Nine protected him against Persona abilities, even physical attacks. It is rumored that Battler was able to deduce whether Akechi actually survived in Shido's palace, but refuses to tell out of respect for his friend.
    • When it comes to spiky-haired men who work like detectives even though they are not detectives and use finger-pointing to make their point, Battler is naturally compared a lot to Pheonix Wright. Naturally, the two get along quite well, and Battler often attends Tracy's magic shows and applauds the performances as real magic. Battler is also amused that in one adventure Pheonix and Maya found themselves in a world of magic and proved that is was actually a scientific trick.

  • Besides his magical abilities and logical prowess, Battler is also known for his rugged determination, as well as for trying to bring hope and encourage the best from the people around him, even if he is not always successful. This has led to great camaraderie with other Hope Bringers. He is especially friendly with Makoto Naegi, who also had to experience a series of killing games and find the truth behind them. Naturally, the two often work together to oppose Bernkastel and Junko Enoshima.

  • While he won't refuse to get on them if the situation requires it, Battler does not like riding on boats, and will take a plane or some other form of transportation when necessary. It is for this reason that he generally avoids the Sea part Hall of Land and Sea Travel.

  • He won't deny it: the Ushiromiyas were pretty messed up. Most of them had committed at least one major crime or performed at least one questionable while being driven by spite, greed, or other dark impulses. It was the culmination of these sins that would lead to the emergence of Beatrice, and Battler's own father was responsible for many of the murders in reality. Many cynical observers have remarked that the family may have deserved their fate on Rokkenjima. However, even if Battler acknowledges their sins and that some had the potential to be murderers, he will still defend their memory out of both a sense of honor and a love of the complicated people that they were.
Battler: Listen, I've heard it all when it comes to my family, and some of the things people have said are true. But none of that, none of that, will ever take away the fact that they were real people who tried to live their lives just like anyone else. And I will challenge anyone who dares to slander their memory!
    • When it comes to the Pantheon, he doesn't seem alone in being born to rich/powerful families of very flawed people. Battler met Leouch vi Brittania at a chess tournament. Lelouch was about to win the game, but Battler "turned the chessboard around" and unveiled a completely unpredictable strategy, winning the match the last second. Ever since that match, the two have become more acquainted with each other, exchanging tales of their experiences. Lelouch is impressed with how Battler managed to resurrect Beatrice by trapping himself in a logic error, while Battler thinks that his revolutionary actions are cool but is wary of his philosophy of becoming a common enemy to unite humanity. Battler just sees that as a larger version of the Silent Scapegoat tactics that led to so much pain for Beatrice and Eva. Their contrasting personalities and differing levels of idealism often lead to friction, but for the most part they work well together, with Battler's emotional focus balancing out Leouch's focus on cold logic. Battler is now enemies with Charles vi Brittania, who he sees as not too dissimilar to his grandfather Kinzo. And for record, Endless Nine does seem to repel the power of Geass.
    • After talking with Leouch about his story, Battler learned of someone else in the Pantheon with the same name as his little sister Ange. This Ange was born a princess of the Misurugi Empire, but was betrayed by her older brother Julius on her sixteenth birthday as a Norma, a human who could naturally nullify the magic that defined their world and was sent to fight interdimensional monsters in a Penal Colony. This story of being isolated from one's family and being forced into a life of suffering for reasons outside of her control reminded Battler of his Ange's circumstances, and he quickly grew to sympathize with her. After some incidents of Ange refusing Battler's pity, she realized that Battler was less seeing her as a sob story but more of an equal, and the two became friends. Battler isn't sure how Ange's romance with both Tusk and Hilda will work out in the long term, but is cheering for them regardless. he has also grown to despise Embryo for his manipulation, sociopathy, treatment of women; he is currently trying to figure out if he can somehow trap the slippery bastard using colored truth.
      • Battler knows nothing about mecha, but his sorcerer powers let him a part of a Power Trio between the three, specifically as the nice one. Because he doesn't have the same formidable reputation as his teammates, villains often assume that he's just there for comic relief, only to find themselves sorely mistaken at the end of his fist.
    • Not sure what to to make of Jin Kazama. While Jin has good intention in opposing his father and grandfather, the world war that he caused in order to draw out Azazel caused so much death and suffering that Battler can't just push it aside. For now, he's waiting to see how Jin deals with Kazuya in the
upcoming tournament.
  • Of the rumors of the Ushiromiyas that came from the events in Rokkenjima, the one that hits closest to Battler is naturally the theory that he the culprit and killed and his family, This theory became so popular that it created a sadistic Evil Knockoff known as Black Battler. He fears being copied and letting Black Battler enter the Pantheon, whichis why he avoid similar deities such as Jeanne d'Arc Alter and Dark Pit. However, later Battler learned that this evil version had appeared during the Battle of the Golden Land only to be defeated with a single red truth by Beatrice.
  • One prominent but messed-up family with incest in the Pantheon is the Targaryens, who are known for having exceptional but insane individuals within the family line. After ascending, Battler quickly came to learn about Daenerys I Targaryen, and how she was initially a heroic person before magic a sudden and unexpected turn into becoming a cruel despot. When learning of this, Battler remarked about how hard it is to truly know a person, but he hopes that in the "main" timeline she can stay as a hero.

  • While he's changed for the better, Battler will never escape the shadow of his more perverted moments, especially certain suspect comments and actions around his cousins and aunts. Despite this, he is generally unfailingly respectful towards women and treats them as equals, including in combat. Luckily, not many have connected the dots that Beatrice is technically his cousin through Sayo's father/grandfather Kinzo. The news of another Chivalrous Pervert in the Pantheon attracted the Harem-seeking hero Issei Hyodo to Battler's temple. The two hit it off almost immediately, and they often spar to test each other's abilities (as Endless Nine can catch up with the power of Issei's boosted gear) or have long discussions about the particularities of women's breasts.

  • Battler is wary of King Arthur, despite his good reputation. Not only is it because of his experience with the king's forces in the form of the Chiester Sisters, he has also heard about how one version of him became the Green Knight and helped the Arcane Order using Anti-Magic powers. Battler is anticipating that the two may come to blows one day, and is making preparations of the eventual fight if it happens.

  • One day, without explanation, Battler and Beatrice seemed to disappear from the Pantheon. Battler and Beatrice's friends searched far and wide for the two, eventually reaching Battler's temple, which had somehow changed shape to an unfamiliar mansion. Within the mansion were two housemates, who invited the friends to dinner. One of the hosts was a purple-haired lady by the name of Ikuko Hachijō , and an older man with graying hair named Tooya Hachijō who looked suspiciously like Battler. The pair explained that they were writers who had collaborated on a variety of novels, including the "Umineko" series. After a little bit of questioning, Tohya explained that he is, or rather was Battler. Battler Ushiromiya had survived the murders at Rokkenjima, but had dived into the water in order to try and save the Sayo Yusada after she had fallen in. He survived the incident, but lost his memory and renamed himself Tohya. The "Umineko" series were stories meant to help Tohya deal with Battler's resurfacing memories, which was successful as he was able to reunite with Ange and "release" Battler to the Golden Land with the rest of the family. However, Tohya was unsure of whether to allow push for the visual novel adaptation's release on modern hardware, as he felt that the story had lost its meaning in the modern world.
Tohya: Umineko... is a story about love, escapism, and a tribute to the mystery genre. But times have changed: I am no longer the spirited young Battler who fought and fell in love with witches, just an old man. In a world full of hate and delusion, where people care not for mystery or multiple truths, does this story have any worth anymore?
Leouch: No, you have the wrong way around. It is because the world is that way that "Umineko" must live on. In a world of hate, people need stories of love all the more. Battler and Beatrice are just the right characters to inspire people. This, is the truth!
Tohya: If that is the truth, then I will try. Thank you for telling me how you feel
    • The next day, Battler and Beatrice had returned, and explained that they had been on a short vacation to the Sea of Fragments and forgotten to leave a note. But their friends didn't care why they had left; they were just glad to have them back.

@Monkey Luffy: Should add his Netflix look as well.

Also friends with Dhalsim, as Monkey thought he also sampled the Gomugomu Fruit, which turns out to be untrue. Monkey does learn Yoga from Dhalsim, and he turns out to be a natural.

The Ishimura also has a medical wing specializing cloning limbs, virus, toxin and genetics research. Know anyone interested in trying their luck in the Medical Wing?

  • It's said that in space, no one can hear you scream. However, if you were on board the USG Ishimura during the Necromorph Outbreak, then no one could hear you scream bloody murder. High up in low-planet orbit, the Ishimura shockpoints in, silent and foreboding. The Ishimura beckons those looking for treasure, or to unravel its secrets. But Issac Clarke knows better. The Ishimura is a ship of nightmares, and if you're lucky to survive the hordes of Necromorphs and the batshit insane Unitologist fanatics, you will not be the same. Issac knows first hand, as he was among a handful of Survivors who traveled to the Ishimura and lived to tell the tale. As a live feed of the Ishimura is sent back to the Pantheon, Issac couldn't help but to quote Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven: "Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing..."
  • Commissioned in 2446, the Ishimura is named after the Japanese Astrophysicist Hideki Ishimura, creator of the ShockPoint Drive (and unknown to almost everyone, Necromorph outbreak survivor). Built by the Concordance Extraction Corporation, the Ishimura is the first of what is known as the Planet Cracker-class ships. Built in the wake of the Resource Wars - the severe depletion of Earth's natural resources - the Ishimura was hailed as the savior of both Earth and its colonies. Planet Cracking is exactly what it means - that a planet is literally cracked open and mined for valuable resources, or as it is known among the rank-and-file, "popping the cork." The Ishimura not only could crack planets, but was also the first ship that pioneered the 'scan-and-catch' method, using its powerful gravity tethers to snag mineral-rich asteroids for smelting. Given that the name Ishimura translates to 'rock village,' it's fitting. However, after 63 years of service and 35 successful planet-cracks, the Ishimura was to be decommissioned following its final planet-crack at Aegis 7, as it was starting to show its age, despite the numerous upgrades it had over the years. And that was where the horror began.
  • Under normal circumstances, the Necromorphs that inhabit the Ishimura should be nothing more than soupy, sludge-like material without the presence of a Marker. However, that is not the case, as Issac Clarke had confirmed that there are at least 12 Marker Fragments located in unreachable locations on board the Ishimura. Not only that, but the Marker Fragments are just as potent in causing hallucinations, insomnia and in the most extreme cases, Marker Dementia, in which those with higher brain functions are imprinted with blueprints to build more Markers, at the cost of their sanity. Given that Sonya Blade was heard holding a conversation with her deceased twin brother, Regime Superman was weeping, begging for forgiveness from a hallucination of his Lois Lane, Griffith went temporary insane from seeing a hallucination of the mangled remains of the original Band of the Hawk (to the amusenent of Guts and Casca), and that Mitsuko Souma had tried to screw (and kill) Shinji Ikari while screaming "MAKE US WHOLE!", contingency plans have been made to combat the Marker Fragments' influence. Led by Dr. Gregory House and Retsu Unohana, Marker-resistant medicines have been created for those brave (or outright suicidal) enough to board the Ishimura. Surprisingly enough Harley Quinn and The Joker are immune to the Marker Fragments' influence.

@ Crimson Shark: "Genocidal Acts" feels like it would be part of the House of Hatred and Rancor, though it being part of Death and Postmortem also makes sense

I have a couple of adopted ideas. Do you guys think they fit or would rather the tropes go to someone/thing else

  • The Crying Child, God of Possibly Being Related To Another: adopted from nightelf 37. The (almost certainly) protagonist of Fnaf 4 is implied to be related to the Afton family. What's almost certainly William Afton's office in the sister location has the same Fredbear plush and walkie talkie, security videos of his house and characterization-wise Michael Afton's motivations are strengthened by being a repentant version of his big brother. However while it certainly makes sense he's an Afton and is a common interpretation, there's no "smoking gun" that confirms he's connected to them unlike, say, Eggs Benedict being confirmed as Michael Afton. Proto-idea suggested by nightelf 37
  • Chica's Magic Rainbow, God(dess?) of Incomplete Rainbows: adopted from Aj Wargo. Chica's Magic Rainbow is the Bait-and-Switch Boss of this spin-off, being a living, malevolent rainbow. (S?)he is supposed to be a rainbow, but only has three colors-pink, orange and blue

A nitpick, but "Theme Song" should be below "Symbol" and above "Alignment". There are two pothole to Death of Personality in the Portfolio. Also, in the Jin Kazama paragraph, "upcoming tournament" is disconnected from the rest of the paragraph. Otherwise [tup]

The Scorched Queen's Kingdom, Land of Perpetual Storms

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ats_biomes.png
Aerial view
The Smoldering City
A settlement

  • Fictional Settings
  • Description: A city on top of a volcano, surrounded by an expanse of forests.
  • Symbol: The Scorched Queen's mask
  • Alignment: The forests are Chaotic Evil; the city is Lawful Neutral
  • Theme Music: Forest Lights
  • Portfolio: Roguelike Construction and Management Game, Bizarre Seasons, inhabited by humans, beavers, lizards, harpies, foxes, and Always Chaotic Evil fishmen, Black-and-Grey Morality, covered by an Intelligent Forest, giant mushrooms in the Marshlands, Fire/Water Juxtaposition
  • Domains: Rain, fire, forests, fear
  • Visitors: Hina Amano, Cacofonix, Folktails & Iron Teeth, Xiao, Courier Six
  • The Smoldering City is the only safe haven in a world cursed with perpetual rain. Build atop a volcano after the Great Civil War that nearly drove the harpies who inhabited it to extinction, the mysterious Scorched Queen uses her powers to ensure that the sun still shines. The city is surrounded on all sides by hostile, sentient forests that only the ferocious fishmen can thrive in, and she sends her viceroys to lead expeditions into them in order to gather resources. The forests grow more enraged as people populate them and cut down their trees; the only things they fear are fire and the queen's wrath. Every few decades, a cataclysm called the Blightstorm washes the world clean and rearranges the landscape, forcing everyone to return to to the city.
  • The rain is magically charged, and it comes in three varieties. During the drizzle, when the forests are at their safest, it's green. During clearance, when farmers gather their crops and there are occasional gaps in the clouds, it's yellow. During the storm, when the forests are at their most dangerous, it's blue. All three kinds of water can be used to power rainpunk engines in manufacturing buildings, but at a cost: it causes blightrot cysts to appear in settlements, flower-like growths that open during the storm and will kill villagers if they aren't burned in time. Despite the constant rain, it never floods.
  • There are six kinds of forests:
    • The Royal Woodlands are the most hospitable biome, relatively speaking. They're full of green trees, fertile soil, and useful plants, so they're recommended for beginner viceroys. They were once part of the Smoldering City until the forest reclaimed them.
    • It's difficult to farm in the harsh, cold Marshlands because of the hard and rocky soil. Instead, they're full of tree-like fungi and huge amounts of gatherable resources. If you're lucky, you might find giant wheat, leviathan corpses, or mushrooms in the deepest glades.
    • The trees of the Scarlet Orchards look like giant roses and are filled with copper. They're full of skeletons of giant creatures that once plagued the land, such as spiders, scorpions, and sea serpents, so viceroys are allowed to conduct archaeological expeditions to uncover them. Due to its abundance of fertile soil, herbs, berries, and roots, it's also known as the kingdoms' herb garden.
    • Unlike the other biomes, Coral Forests contain three types of trees: mineral-rich crimsonreach trees, shelled and fleshy musselsprout trees, and fibrous plateleaf trees. Contrary to popular belief, they don't grow in areas that were once flooded; instead, the aquatic aesthetic is due to the influence of coral. Settlers find them beautiful despite their dangers.
    • The Cursed Royal Woodlands are full of death. The trees are barren and infested with insect larvae, and it's haunted by ghosts from the Great Civil War. Some ghosts will merely disappear if they aren't appeased, but more hostile ones will curse settlements as well. In the other forests, the safest glades are smaller, but here, they're all the same size, making it impossible to assess their danger in advance.
    • The Sealed Forests are home to ancient beings called the Sealed Ones, who seem to have a connection to the Blightstorm. During the storm season, they unleash terrible plagues upon villagers. Most of its trees writhe and appear to have faces, and the biggest ones resemble flowers covered in thorns. Viceroys must undergo several trials in order to close the seals, and doing so increases the amount of time between Blightstorms.
  • The majority of the kingdom's population consists of five species:
    • Humans once had their own kingdoms until the Blightstorm came. They specialise in farming and brewing, and are typically the last to leave failing settlements. Their buildings are made of brick and planks, with white walls and blue roofs.
    • Most beavers are members of the Smoldering City's merchants guild; the kingdom mostly has a bartering economy, but they use amber as currency too. They're hard workers who specialise in lumber and engineering, but can also be demanding. Their buildings are made of warm-brown planks, with rounded edges and spikes on each corner.
    • Lizards are resilient but distrustful carnivores. Were it not for the Scorched Queen's sudden appearance, their clans may have lost the Great Civil War. They're excellent at handling livestock, and since they're cold-blooded, they prefer to work in warm buildings such as furnaces and the hearths at the centre of each settlement. Their buildings are made of bricks and cloth, with red, spiked roofs.
    • Harpies are all infected by a blightrot-like disease that makes it difficult for them to fly. They specialise in gathering herbs and using them in alchemical recipes, and love working with cloth. Despite their graceful appearance, they have a wild and aggressive side. Their buildings are made of cloth, with white walls, purple roofs, and gold accents.
    • Foxes specialise in working with rainwater, so they developed a symbiotic relationship with the blightrot. They have a deep bond with the forest, and are the fastest at dealing with the various situations that pop up in glades, from opening crates to feeding wild kaiju. Unfortunately, they're easily susceptible to starvation. Despite being mortal, no fox graves have ever been found. Their buildings have green roofs, silver walls, and are made of planks, cloth, and a crystallised dew.
  • While the entire kingdom is open to visitors, it's so inhospitable that few want to visit it. Hina Amano and Cacofonix both have the ability to summon rain at will, which makes them unwelcome in most places, but their powers don't make much of a difference here. The Folktails and Iron Teeth, who come from a world plagued by droughts, were intrigued by a place with an endless supply of water. Both of their settlements made trade agreements with the merchants guild. The Folktails enjoy the kingdom's delicacies such as biscuits and pickles, while the Iron Teeth plan to build rain engines to power their factories.
  • Some gods use their skills to help the kingdom's citizens. Xiao is a mercenary who wields fire, so she's offered to help viceroys burn blightrot cysts in their settlements... for a fee. She's only manifested E.G.O. once while in the forests, but the Scorched Queen is interested in Xiao's ability to make her flames so potent that merely being near here causes burns. Courier Six has trekked through all kinds of hostile environments, so they occasionally help the merchant's guild make deliveries. The queen's envoy considered asking them to send orders to viceroys as well, but soon realised that they tend to meander.
  • The kingdom's citizens enjoy visiting other dominions. The beavers are welcome in Zootopia and often help with construction work, though they stay away from the Rainforest District. The lizards love basking in Sahara Square, as well as the Far, Far Range's Dry Reef and Glass Desert. The humans and harpies both love foraging for the Range's bizarre array of crops, such as cube-shaped strawberries and heart-shaped beats; they're a nice change of pace from roots and moss. The foxes explore overgrown, abandoned, or mysterious places such as the Dwemer Ruins and Yggdrasil Labyrinths.

Why is the Fornite Island in Dimensions and Multiverses when the trope it represents, Battle Royale Game, doesn't fit?

...What? Fortnite absolutely applies, namely as Save the World doesn't represent modern Fortnite anymore.

Just a heads up but Fortnite Island was not in fact approved for being added as no thumbs was given was posted last July 9th 2023. This means that Absolute Rainbow violated the rules and posted a profile which has not been approved yet. Should I delete the profile?

Posting the rough draft for Solaire of Astora. Solaire is a warrior that the Chosen Undead finds in Undead Burg. He is seen as jolly and strong (while being naive at the same time) and teaches the player the concept of cooperation via summons. He can be summoned on 5 specific bosses and helps the player on all occasions. His fate is met via a Sunlight Maggot should the player unable to kill it on Lost Izalith or by linking the First Flame on his own world, presumbly his soul now infused with the Soul of Cinder by the third game.

[up][up]I meant that the trope had nothing to do with dimensions or multiverses.

[up]I don't think there should be a hyphen in summonable. He'd probably be allies with any god who's been an assist trophy in Super Smash Bros..

Remember when I proposed these guys?

Any enemies of evil aliens, evil parasites. Any other evil parasites, and possessors? Really, just any suggestions in general?

No-Thumbs Mode

”The creature took on the host's memories, appearance, abilities, everything. It sucks everything dry. Utterly terrifying. Can you not see that if a mimic such as this were to infiltrate a population, it could replicate almost indefinitely! With evil taking the form of an ally, the galaxy could be overthrown. It is truly the worst kind of evil... it has no name, but... we call it X.”

[up]Fecto Forgo/Fecto Elfilis may see the X as a tasty snack, given how it itself is also an Ultimate Lifeform capable of assimilating and copying its victims, and given how Fecto/Chaos Elfilis is able to draw in energy from the environment to heal itself, it may be capable of draining them like Metroids are.

The X Parasite: The Umbrella deities and Mother Miranda are very interested in harnessing the power of the parasite.

THE END is coming along nicely. Anyways, have a rework proposal that really hasn’t aged well, and it’s one of my own.

Tangle The Lemur and Whisper The Wolf for Fanart At First Sight

Reasoning for Rework: Showcased early, Tangle and Whisper started getting fan art almost immediately after their designs were showcased, and before they were even named, before they eventually joined the comic proper. In Sonic IDW fashion, this happens whenever a character ends up showcased early, but Tangle and Whisper were the first. Needs reworked for short texts and lack of Ally interactions.

Hello I've noticed that level ate has no active god/goddess. so i am here to make a formal request that "the baroness von bon bon" from Cuphead as the goddess of that trope. I would make an example of what this page might look like but I do not know how- thank you for reading this.

@Hamana

Given his adoration of the sun, he'd be fond of sun-related deities like Amaterasu, Helios, Apollo, Ra, and Princess Celestia. He'd also might appreciate Niko and Robert Capa, who went on journeys to restore the suns of their worlds.

Since Fortnite Island didn't go through the proper channels for ascension, should its existing profile be removed? First, we should check if it ever went through the proper process on the thread or not before taking action.

I think [tup] to @Sailor's suggestion, and speaking of reworks...

Fecto Forgo, The God who Survived Without a Body A long time ago, a being known as Fecto Elfilis launched a devastating one person invasion of a planet known locally as the New World. Surprisingly, the locals actually managed to capture Fecto Elfilis through unknown means, and imprisoned them in Lab Discovera for study, and tourism purposes. However, when the scientists of Lab Discovera initiated a "Warp Experiment", it resulted in Fecto Elfilis splitting into two beings. Fecto Forgo, who shared Fecto Elfilis' designation of ID-F86, and Fecto Elfilin, designated ID-F87. Elfilin would flee, while Forgo would be forced to remain within Lab Discovera, due to their prison having become their means of sustainment, as their Psionic Power was too much for their new, weaker body to maintain now. But Forgo was still very much alive and used their still immense (albeit weakened) Psionic Abilities to enslave the native wildlife and formed a group known as the Beast Pack, under its foremost slave, Leon, now named Leongar due to Forgo's influence. Fecto Forgo would then use their ability to tear spacetime a new one to suck the inhabitants of Planet Popstar out of their home dimension and into the New World. While it would subjugate King Dedede, and the Waddle Dees using its Psionic power and Beast Pack minions respectively, the ever unstoppable Kirby was decidedly not enslaved. Kirby would then do what they do best (other than eating) and end up in Lab Discovera, triumphant over Leongar. And then Fecto Forgo absorbed him, other Beast Pack members, and finally their lost half Elfilin, and regained their Elfilis state. But even that was not enough to beat Kirby, who freed Elfilin and destroyed the body of Fecto Elfilis with a truck as they attempted to crash Planet Popstar onto the New World. But despite losing their body, Forgo/Elfilis was still alive. They took Leon's body into their realm of Forgo Dreams and attempted to make him a new Body for them, only for Morpho Knight to swoop in and eat their soul. Kirby would defeat Morpho Knight... and discover that Fecto Forgo still wasn't dead yet. They took DNA from Morpho Knight to make themselves a new body, dubbed Chaos Elfilis and fought Kirby again. When Kirby finally put down Chaos Elfilis, what was left of Fecto Forgo's soul was reabsorbed into Elfilin, and the thing was finally gone.

Proposing this since I wanna do a quality improvement. I plan on keeping more than on previous reworks since the initial wasn't awful, I just feel it could still be better.

@ M1gamiTensei: Luffy's profile has the words at night twice. Rightfully believing that they were alive, Luffy went at night at night with the hopes of getting these new creatures.

Would Luffy eat Unhygienix's fish including the rotten and stale fish?
