Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

TPPR 10 let me adopt Centaur Man. I did some of this on her page, she let me adopt him. What should I add?

Centaur Man, God of Mechanical Horses (DWN.042)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/42_-_centaur_man_9874.jpg
  • Adopted from: TPPR 10
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His three-horned helmet
  • Theme Music: Centaur Man Stage
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: Mechanical Centaur, Centaur Flash, Centaur Arrow, Polearm, Shield, Spread Shot, The Gambler, Only Quadruped Robot Master
  • Domains: Robots, Horses, Combat, Space
  • Interested in: Emerl
  • Allies: Mega Man, Bright Man, Spirit, Maximus, Diana/Wonder Woman, Tsunade, Larry Daley
  • Enemies: Dr. Wily, Dr Eggman, Ares, Dio Brando
  • Annoyed by: Whip users like Simon Belmont
  • Centaur Man was originally a robot designed to work as a museum guide on Greece. However, he was modified into combat to enter the First Annual Robot Tournament. However, the whole tournament was a trick by Doctor Wily to capture the world's greatest robot warriors and reprogram them to serve him.
  • Since he was merely reprogrammed by Wily to serve him, he doesn't actually work for him in the Pantheon. Doesn't stop Wily from trying to him back to his side.
  • As mentioned, his job before being modified for combat was a tour guide for an old archaeology museum, and when not testing his medal against other robots eager to fight he continues to serve this role in the pantheon. He has helped out Larry Daley with some of the strange happenings in his museum.
  • Seems to like Wonder Woman, given that she is a heroic Amazon and Centaur Man is from Greece. He doesn't much care for Ares given he's a brutal Greek god of war. As per his archeological leanings, Centaur Man is interested in the Lost Technology of Emerl.
  • The reason why he was given this title is because while he is technically a centaur, he is one of few holders of the trope with actual sentience. He seems fond of both Spirit and Maximum due to being magnificent equines, and whenever Wily isn't mind controlling him he hangs out in the same house as them. Sometimes they test who's the faster at races.
  • Due to being a robotic horse, he has a dislike of whips of any kind. As such he isn't a fan of Simon Belmont, but otherwise remains neutral on whip users. He has a fondness for gambling, which soon led him to get into a game of poker with Tsunade. She won, but it was a good game and the two can be spotted together in the casino.
  • Centaur Man's main weapon is Centaur Flash, a special distortion system what allows him to stop time. However, the system takes up a lot of energy to use, meaning that he can only use it for brief moments at a time. Dio Brando claims that his time stop is superior, and Centaur Man isn't fond of him due to his evil nature. Also, Dio's powers have problems dealing with similar time stop powers.
  • The time stop doesn't make him a one-trick pony, to pardon the phrase. In fact, he might be one of most well-armed Robot Masters. He can teleport brief distances while using Centaur Flash, his arm cannon has a Spread Shot projectile and energy arrows, and is also equipped with a shield and a polearm.
  • There are rumours that he is actually a woman and has a crush on Knight Man. Nothing solid has come out of this.

@ Hamana: Well, Agent 47 took on a mission involved him killing key members of the Red Dragon and Blue Lotus Triads to stir turmoil as a plan to get close and assassinate the Red Dragon's Leader, Lee Hong. Something like that would stick out like a sore thumb to Lee after everything that happened.

@ RJ: There can be some comparisons drawn to Elizabeth Bathory and Gibril. Her stage in the Mysterious Manor involves the Full Metal Jacket ordering Eden mooks to kidnap people to drain them of their blood to fuel her Septima, Metallon, simultaneously turning them into zombies. This evokes imagery of vampires, which may be the point. I would imagine she would dislike Elizabeth for being human on principle, even if her other incarnations do mainly point to her being a vampire. At best, I believe they'd be rivals.

I can't help but think this Blade Below the Shoulder thing is going to hit a stalemate and nothing gets resolved.

I have one comment saying that it can have multiple reps due to the variants while I have another comment saying that only one rep for that trope (and other tropes that have more than one variant) is fine. I'd still like a bit of consensus on that.

Regardless, I'll still change Biolantte's trope to Planimal if others are fine with it.

@Wikia: Hmm... regarding your suggestions for the P1 cast, I think Big First Choice might better fit Kenji from Battle Realms, Permanently Missable Content doesn't sound right, Branch-and-Bottleneck Plot Structure implies it all comes back together no matter what route you take, which P1 doesn't seem to imply, and Story Branching... are you sure this can't be contested by better candidates?

Who do you guys think should be the God(s) of Player Killing. Personally I'm thinking the Laughing Coffin Guild. Why?

  • In Aincrad, killing another player meant that the player was dead for real, so the guild took advantage of it.
  • Several members became IRL serial killers, such as Shoichi Shinkawa/XaXa and Atsushi Kanamoto/Johnny Black.
  • Vassago Casals/PoH is a major case of Small Role, Big Impact, as his actions during Aincrad caused much of the series post-Fairy Dance to happen[note]Phantom Bullet due to Shoichi Shinkawa and the first half of Alicization due to Atsushi Kanamoto's attack on Kirito[/note]

I believe if there are multiple sections of a trope that it is fine to have multiple holders for it. So i'm ok if you rework Gigan.

Have we ever decided who would get The Mistress?

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kisspng_fionna_and_cake_finn_the_human_adventure_time_exp_5b0a23da4324f9904582491527391194275.png
Left: Fionna, Right: Cake
  • Lesser Goddess (Cake) and Demigoddess (Fionna)
  • Symbol: Fionna's crystal sword
  • Theme Song: their theme song
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Distaff Counterparts and Canon Rule 63 versions of Finn and Jake, Tomboy and Girly Girl
  • Domain(s): Alternate Universe, Fanfiction, Gender Swap, Adventures
  • Heralds: The residents of their world (which is not named Aaa, despite what most believe)
  • Followers: Way too many to count, and way too many of them of poor quality
  • Allies: Sailor Moon (for Fionna)
  • Special Relationships: Ice King (their author(sort of, Its Complicated)), Finn and Jake (their counterparts)
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies: The Lich, Orgalorg
  • For years since his ascension, Ice King had made several attempts to get Fionna and Cake in the Pantheon. First, he tried to Virtuous to summon them, only to be told that characters that don't really exist can't be brought to life. Then, he asked Maxwell to draw them up, only to get an ogre princess and a slice of cake (said princess and her husband Shrek still hold that against him to this day). Finally, he tried to hijack Supergirl's position for them to take, but it went rather badly.
    • As it turns out, though, someone in the Court did hear his request, but it got lost in all the bureaucracy. Eventually, the request was heeded as soon as a trope was found: Fanfiction. Even though a beam from the sky is what's sending him images of Fionna and Cake's adventures into his deams, thus implying they actually do exist somewhere in the Adventure Time multiverse, it's through Ice King's writings that they're known in canon. And there are at least two fanfic characters in the Pantheon already (Lt. Mary Sue and Old Man Henderson).
  • Applies to both:
    • Are under contant surveillance by the The Protectors of the Plot Continuum. Well, more their temple anyway, to make sure their followers don't wreak havoc in the Pantheon through their subpar writing. Fionna and Cake are good in their book, but their influence nonetheless set a precedent for the worse to come…
    • Were initially repulsed by Ice King, after hearing that he dreams of marrying Fionna. Thankfully, Simon doesn't harbor such feelings (and is admittedly ashamed of that), so no real animosity remains.
      • Also pertaining to him, his counterpart the Ice Queen is, notably, not originally a human like him, but a water nymph, and it's just a crystal rather than a crown (with cryatals) that gave her powers and drove her crazy. Of course, that story bit was written by Gunter, and it's not certain if he's also gotten the same "space messages" as Ice King, so the validity of that is dubious.
    • Due to being overwhelmed by questions regarding their world and how things went, here's a comprehensive list of things they're not answering.
      • Whether or not Fionna met her parents and if her mother was a deadbeat like Martin Mertens.
      • How Fionna still has her right arm given Finn lost his, or (corollary to the above) how she managed not to lose it.
      • Fionna's surname and if it's Campbell.
      • If Fionna ever had a Grass Sword, since that was one of the reasons Finn lost his arm.
      • Whether Cake and Lord Monochromicorn became married.
      • Whether they raised hybrid kids and what it felt like to be pregnant.
      • Cake's possible alien heritage just like Jake.
      • Anything else regarding the other inhabitants of their world, whether or not their counterparts are deities here.
    • Of course, the duo eventually met with the other ascended Adventure Time deities.
      • BMO seems to be the same as always. Then again, it doesn't really have a gender to flip.
      • It's a bit surprising to them that Prince Gumball's counterpart Princess Bubblegum is much more focused on science and not that much of a baker. They are aware of her...amoral actions, though, which is one thing (besides bodily composition) the two share.
      • While vastly different from Cake's boyfriend, Lady Rainicorn was a nice—if difficult to understand—fellow to hang out with.
      • There was barely any difference between LSP or LSP, be it a Prince or Princess.
      • Fionna feels uneasy around Flame Princess, given that things are still awkward between her and Flame Prince while Finn has successfully returned to being Just Friends with his former Second Love.
      • It's not certain whether she's fought her world's version of it, the one that scattered itself from Farmworld, or both, but the Lich has marked Fionna as his archnemesis just as equally as he does Finn.
  • Exclusive to Fionna:
    • Prior to the truth, there have been those who thought that Fionna was actually Finn's long-lost twin (as it has been said that long-lost twins tend to lead eerily-similar lives). Finn can attest against that, having already met both his father and mother, the latter of whom would certainly know. Unless she was hiding it for some reason.
      • Due to the disastrous love life he's had, even with Huntress Wizard as a potential third flame, there are shippers who try to convince him to give Fionna a try that way and that they're perfect for each other. Unfortunately for the shippers, any adventures they have together (with Cake and Jake and whoever else) have had no romantic undertones whatsoever.
  • Exclusive to Cake:
    • Knows morse code thanks to having Lord Monochromicorn as a boyfriend, who mainly speaks in that "language".
    • Cake plays a hammered dulcimer, as opposed to Jake with his viola.
    • Cake's shapeshifting powers appear to be more defined than Jake's, as she can transform almost instantaneously, and can also change into weapons (on Fionna's command, including a "morning star mode"), something that Jake has been shown to be nearly incapable of doing.
    • Doesn't tolerate any who ship her and Jake; both of them already have their own romantic companions (Lord Monochromicorn and Lady Rainicorn).

@Crownless Mimic Thank you for giving me a suggestion and giving me albeit of motivation to work on his profile.

Here he is again, I'd like to finish him, but not in a super rushed way. Any more ideas for Huang Lee?

Huang Lee, Divine Saint of Chinese Mobsters (Adonis, Rich kid, Oscar, Mr. 'Know it all', Mr. 'Junior Triad of the year', China boy, Mr. speed-date)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/huanglee_8760.jpeg
  • Theme Song: Chinatown Wars
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The Yu Jian Sword
  • Alignment: True Neutral (often forced into Neutral Evil)
  • Portfolio: Spoiled rich kid, Follows through honor but moves on and becomes saner than most, The Everyman, Massive amounts of sarcasm, The only good criminal in the entire Triad regime, Being motivated by his father's death and eventually realizing it was his uncle who killed him
  • Domains: Wealth, Crime, Drugs, Revenge
  • High Priest: Wei Shen (actually an undercover agent)
  • Allies:
  • Source of Interest: John Luthor, Cole Phelps, Harold Francis Callahan
  • Distrusts: Claude, Donald Love
  • Rivals: Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima
  • Enemies: Scar, Uncle Chan, Dimitri Rascalov, Agent 47
  • The Tale of Huang Lee is a long and arduous one. Following the death of his father in China, his uncle, Wu "Kenny" Lee, called him to arrive in Liberty City, to deliver the family heirloom the Yu Jian Sword so that he may secure a spot as the Triad Leader. Things got awry when his sword was stolen and he himself was left for dead as soon as he arrived in Liberty City. What follows was a journey that forced him into the most rotten core of city, out in the need to reclaim his honor and revenge for his father.
  • After killing his uncle, who was the murderer all along and becoming the leader of the Triads, the Court of the Gods saw potential in him and appointed him as the representative for Chinese Mobsters, though Lee declined the offer the Court gave him. After the fifth time however, he decided to accept the offer in condition of signing new documents, which he said was a precautionary method just in case he ends up in a place like Liberty City again. Turns out he was placed in a House that is arguably worse than the city itself.
  • Within his first days of ascension, he was greeted by several citizens from Liberty City who immediately recognized him: the silent Claude, the bouncer Luis Lopez, and veteran soldier turned criminal Niko Bellic. All of which have explained their grieviances in the eponymous city and how all of them managed to survive. His interaction with Claude ended with complete distrust following him, and by extension, Donald Love, almost wiping out the Triad during the early days with his time in the Leones. As for Love, well, let's just say that instigating a war between the Yakuza and Columbian Cartel won't give you a good impression. The two see Huang as quite calm, despite sounding cocky and outright rude.
    • Even outside Liberty City, he has gained some reputation. Tommy sees him as a great teammate, even considering him to be more loyal than his other associates, though Huang warns him not to kill any Triads or he'll start spilling heads. Carl Johnson also sees friendship within him, mainly due to his association with another Triad within San Fierro under the name of Wu Zi Mu. When he asked as to the condition of the Triads in San Andreas, he answered that they are thriving in Las Venturas, allowing Huang to allow more support outside Chinatown.
    • Despite being a criminal and allying himself with the other GTA protagonists, he prefers not to participate in any of their crimes. He only prefers to maintain the the Triad's stature, following the entire shitshow that occured in 2009. And thats was mainly because of all the backstabbing, killing and treachery that has been happening back when his father died. Not only that, but he is rich enough, so he'll likely pass the opportunity instead.
  • Following his ascension, he was recently visited (and punched) by Goro Majima, who proclaimed that Huang Lee's life will be a difficult one. It didn't take long for Lee to realize why he hit him in the first place: because he is a Yakuza member (loosely though, since he only allies with Kazuma). However, Kazuma Kiryu also came in and stopped Goro before causing more damage, sincerely apologizing but also stating that he had a feud with the Triads before, hence their rivalry. The Chinese Triad acknowledged this and only had one comment following them leaving his temple:
Huang: "Jesus, and I thought Liberty City had worse Yakuzas."
  • As with the aformentioned truth that his uncle Kenny was the sole reason behind all the events that almost broke the Triads, he has become wary to any uncles regardless of alignment. Among those he hates are Scar and Uncle Chan. The former's actions makes him closer, if not worse, than his uncle, while Uncle Chan is just plain annoying to him and his rather goofy "Chinese" accent.
    • To explain, Scar's betrayal towards Mufasa was one thing that shook Lee, because it reminded him of Kenny killing his brother so that he may have the leadership of the Triads, not to mention him framing 2 other Triad members in order to make investigation more muddy. Scar could only laugh hearing that this happened because he realizes even other people still follow such intentions. Seeing this, he'll do his best to kill Scar to make him feel satisfied for his thirst for revenge.
    • On Uncle Chan's part, Huang pretty much summed it up the first time they met:
Huang: "Wow, and I thought the Triads I handle are annoying. Maybe they should pick first-born Chinese instead of this actor."
  • Truth be told, Huang also had former relations with the Mafia, having been ratted out once by a traitor who lied to him about info on the stolen blade. Because of this, he wants no relations with any Mafia, fearing that they'll throw him off with false information again.
    • Then there is Dimitri Rascalov, the type of scum Huang hates. Backstabbing, power hungry and Russian. Hearing from others about Dimitri's actions made it clear that he will personally kill him if he tries to screw with the Triads.
  • Upon hearing what Agent 47 did with the Red Dragon and Blue Lotus Triads, which entails large mass killing, the junior triad could not help but feel uneasy towards the Agent. While 47 has no plans on killing Huang, time will only tell if someone pays him to get killed, then all hands are off.
  • The House of Justice rather welcomed Lee into their institution with applause, mainly for helping on a conspiracy case regarding the Triad leadership. Though he has stated that the detective who helped him was only there for the suspect, some of the others see some mutual friendship between the two. In fact, Huang gets a free pass on the house without repercussions.
    • From the numerous detectives, wardens and judiciaries, 3 members of the said house see Huang as a viable asset: Cole Phelps, John Luthor and Harold Callahan also known as Dirty Harry. They see him uncovering the truth of the Triads as a worthy assessment as an asset for their investigations. Though this was pitched as Luthor's idea, the other 2 stick with it since the results did yield greatly and not only favored in Lee's side, but also on the justice side as well.
  • "I buy ALL my friends. Makes life easier."

[up] Slow down. We haven't discussed whether or not they were good for the trope or not.

[up][up] Perhaps he could also be enemies with Chin? He is, or so he claims to be, on a mission to kill all the "fuckin' ugly reds" for the skyrocketing crime rates in Hong Kong and would see Lee as an example of such. Despite the fact that Lee's activities is in Liberty City which is no where close to Hong Kong, never mind the fact that 1997 was an entire decade ago from when Chinatown Wars took place.

@Laughing Coffin Given their encounters with Player Killers, Shiroe and Akatsuki would not like them in the slightest, especially since the Laughing Coffin guild killed players permanently. Given how said encounters ended for the Player Killers, the Laughing Coffins would probably be a bit wary around the two. Also since Death isn't permanent in the Pantheon, it may or may not provoke the guild into attempting player kills more often.

Edit: Whoops, this for in case the guild gets approval.

Yeah, don't work on it as soon as possible. You need input first.

But anyways, any matadors around the Pantheon? Or anything I'm missing that's essential for Matador?

Matador, God of Beautiful Killing

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/matador_9418.jpg
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His Red Capote, the Espada sword
  • Theme Song: Fiend Theme
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Grim Reaper, Blood Knight, Aspect of Death with Style, Master Swordsman, Skeleton Head like other Fiends, Fragile Speedster, Wake-Up Call Boss, Andalucia, Sukukaja and Red Capote, Taunt
  • Domains: Death, Killing, Sport, Bullfighting
  • Allies: The Fiends
  • Rivals: Vega, Bugs Bunny
  • Enemies: The Demi-fiend, Aleph, Flynn, Nanashi, Baine Bloodhoof, Elite Tauren Chieftain
  • One of the Fiends, Matador was known as the Spanish Grim Reaper who enjoy the sport of killing. It was said that he was once a mortal man who was killed in the sport that he loved and now kill others, even after death.
  • He was the first of the Eight Fiends to fight against the Demi-fiend for his Candelabrum in Lucifer's test to see who will be his champion to challenging God. Though the Demi-fiend was ultimately the victor of his test, he himself claimed that he was close in defeating him.
    • Matador, like most members of the Fiend, often hide on seclusive part of Tokyo. Though for Matador, he claims that he want to fight in a place where their match cannot be interrupted at the cost of an potential audience. Still, he found Aleph and Flynn wondering around the place and tried to challenge them in his realm.
    • Nanashi, on the other hand, found him wandering around a mysterious world known as Twisted Tokyo. As usual, he challenged him to a duel as he descended deeper into the visceral realm.
  • He is once compared to Vega for their love of beauty and murder, as well as being a living matador. Though they are alike, Vega is too full of himself to reciprocate.
  • In the House of Crafts, he is an enigma since he would not unintentional interfere in the lives of the craftsman, claiming that they are no challengers worthy to be stain in his sword. He would most often hide in the House of Weapons, Slaughter, and Combat to await worthy opponents.
  • A matador still in spirit, he often tried to challenge the resident "bulls" of the Pantheon like Baine Thunderhoof and the Elite Tauren Chieftain to charge him with all their might so that he would once again be the champion in the ring.
  • He considers Bugs to be a complete fraud of a "matador" as he has not once tried to go for the kill on Toro the Bull.
  • Though a demon, he is among the many demons that lurks in the heart of humanity and are fragments of the Collective Unconscious. A Persona of the Death Arcana, he will answer the call of Yu Narukami and Ren Amamiya when summoned from the Sea of Souls.
  • "I swear, by my sword and capote, that I will once again prove victorious!"

Hope you all had a good Easter, and finally, I have fixed Risky's image hope it will look good enough for the final thumb approval folks.

Risky Boots, Goddess of Dressing Like A Pirate (Queen of the Seven Seas, Captain of the Tinkertub, First Mate of the Pirate Master)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/risky_boots_clear.jpg
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her skull bra and hat
  • Leitmotif: RiskyBoots
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil, Chaotic Neutral when teaming up with Shantae.
  • Portfolio: Unnatural Skin Color Due To Dark Magic, Abuses Her Tinkerbats, Relishes In Being A Pirate Queen, Loves Fighting Shantae, Learned To Develop All Sorts Of Devices, Knows She Is Sexy And Shows It, Uses Both A Scimitar And Gun, A Pirate Formerly Under The Pirate Master.
  • Domains: Piracy, Theft, Evil.
  • Followers: Captain Syrup
  • Allies: Edward Teach, King K. Rool, Captain Hook.
  • Enemies: Shantae, Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, Nico Robin, Boa Hancock, The Genie, Aladdin, Aladdin The Magi, Donkey Kong, Peter Pan, William and Elizabeth Turner.
  • Rivals: Isabela of Rivain, Jack Sparrow.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Donquixote Doflamingo, Davy Jones.
  • Risky Boots is a feared pirate captain that leads her Tinkerbat crew against Shantae and her friends. She might not be able to use magic, but with her brains, crewmen, and trusted blade she is none the less a dangerous foe of the half-genie hero. Despite her latest defeat at the hands of the half-genie runt Shantae and failing in taking over the Genie Realm, the scourage of the seven seas refused to admit defeat to her main enemy plotting her ascension into the Pantheon's fabled home of pirates.
  • Brandishing her title, status, and role as pirate queen she met all sorts of rogues and thieves in the house that Risky feels like she belongs in. Many deities considering her both a rival and ally in crime, even wanting her to join in for a bottle of rum as they sing about the pirate's creed till the night is done in the docks of the Pantheon.
  • Naturally, she wasn't thrilled about seeing that genie runt Shantae again knowing she would do everything in her power to stop Risky's overall dream of domination over the seas. While having been defeated a few times that would not deter Risky Boots; giving up so easily isn't what feared pirates do after all!
  • She is aware of how easily men are distracted by her choice of clothing or rather a lack of it flaunting her curves to easily seduce idiotic pervs knowing they aren't aware of how dangerous she truly can be. Just ask her former master who's very skull is now her own bra.
    • Naturally, the latest attempt to corrupt the Genie World with dark magic puts her in opposition with several other genies such as Aladdin's friend and the Magi who can't believe how far Risky would go in order to defeat Shantae once and for fall including nearly corrupting her. Risky doesn't care who gets in her way but eventually will crush any god or genie who defies the Queen of Pirates.
  • Edward wasn't sure if he could trust Risky considering what happened with her former master, so they both agreed that they would only aid one another against their enemies that would be the genie girl, Luffy, and the rest of the Straw Hats. Afterward, the matter of the treasures locked up in the Pantheon could be split between then both...at least that is what they agreed upon not meaning it would actually happen.
    • Donflamingo, on the other hand simply saw Risky as another potential member of his family not wanting her to be above the (former) King of Dressrosa. They were at odds with one another, but Risky does admit she isn't fond of Luffy's crew much like Donflamingo.
    • Not only does the Straw Hat crew loathe Risky Boots, but another woman claiming to be a ruler of the seas has also voiced disapproval of Shantae's main adversary. In fact, the only female Warlord of the Sea refused to let some second-rate pirate steal her place as the Pirate Empress of the Pantheon.
  • After making allies with fellow pirate captains K.Rool and Hook, she wanted to begin a new kind of crew of several criminals united in order to seize power, treasure, and dominance over the enemies of such hated pirates like Donkey Kong and that "blasted" Peter Pan.
  • Risky does welcome a like Shantae despite her persistence on beating her, so when Isabela challenged the Tinkerbat Captain to a duel she accepted planning the sword battle only to lose. This likely wouldn't be the last time they would face each other for as Risky's pride was something she had to uphold above all else.
  • While she is at odds with Elizabeth and Will for being a ruthless pirate who is willing to endanger anyone for her goals, the nefarious Captain Jack Sparrow likes her spunk and grit. In fact, his offer to a playful "date" surprised some in the Pantheon considering the differences between both captains of the sea. While she turned him down he did leave a lasting impression on Risky while threating to cut off his hand for stealing some gems from her ship.
    • As for Dave Jones, a tense situation was felt when he threatened to make her join his locker for all eternity if she crossed him. Risky felt a familiar sensation from her past when she had to put up with her former captain before helping Shantae put him down for good.
