Bodyguards

     Sori Jaga

Sori Jaga

Quirk: Ultimate Breed

Hair: Black (Ponytail)

Sori is a high-ranking bodyguard of the Nekonanako Foundation. She enters the story when she attacks the Midoriya Foundation's security under the belief she's being tested for a position. In spite of this, she ends up getting hired.

Her Quirk, "Ultimate Breed", allows her to do pretty much anything a cat can, including high speed, sensitive ears, and sharp claws and fangs, with additional super strength to boot.

  • Absurdly Sharp Claws: Her nails can become sharper.
  • Achievements in Ignorance: Her attack does help Izuku find that there are several security holes that need fixing.
  • Almighty Janitor: Justified due to her job as a bodyguard means she tends to have free time when Izuku is in the mansion, not to mention the Foundation has other bodyguards. That means Izuku tends to give her odd jobs, such as sparring with the kids, fetching take-out, or cleaning the training room.
  • Amazonian Beauty: She is described as looking like an Olympic athlete with "a body that as if it was made of pure muscle".
  • Animal Jingoism: Downplayed. While she's a cat and Giza's a rat, they're professional enough to not antagonize each other. But the instinct can kick in.
Izuku, speaking to Giza: Did Sori try to sleep-eating you again?
  • Animal-Themed Superbeing: She is a Cat Girl with the strength and skills of all sorts of large felines.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Despite her Ditziness, she is a very powerful fighter and bodyguard.
  • Child Prodigy: She managed to get a bodyguard license at a very young age which, according to Izuku, is as hard to get as a Hero license, but for a more rule-restricted job.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: As the aggressor of the Curb-Stomp Battle. She may have mowed down all the G.R.I.M.M.s, but she definitely did not come out unscathed.
  • Didn't Think This Through: When she decides to ask for a job at the Midoriya Foundation, she completely forgets to call ahead. Thus, when she infiltrates the grounds, Sori believes she's being tested by her future employers while Izuku and the others think they are facing a potential assassin.
  • The Ditz:
    • She completely forgets to call Izuku to that she looking for a job with him, and straight up trespasses the foundation's woods.
    • She spends half of her salary to purchase Kiba's merchandise, which, as her bodyguard, she could get for free.
    • She tested a toilet to see if it's possible to use one as an escape chute, causing her to stuck inside it waist up.
  • Dumb Muscle: Very strong, but rarely reliable outside combat
  • I'm Your Biggest Fan: Kiba's. Her main reason for working at Midoriya Foundation is to be able to work for the girl.
  • Man Bites Man: Her sharp teeth are strong enough to rip G.R.I.M.M.s' flesh.
  • Mix-and-Match Man: She is from a long line of people with large cat-based Quirks through selective breeding, and her Quirk reflects that.
  • One-Man Army: What her Quirk makes her, as she singlehandedly beats up Midoriya Foundation's Grimms. Even more so when she deals with The Foot Ninjas with the aid of Chaos Emerald.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Red Oni to Sai's Blue Oni.
  • Super Breeding Program: Sori and other Nekonanako Foundation members were conceived depending on which task they will specialize in.
  • Super-Soldier: Sori is a member of The Comcat Girls, the latest line of Nekonanako Foundation's Combat-oriented catgirls.

     Sai Bura — Saber

Sai Bura — Saber

Quirk: Infinite Blade Works

Sai, formerly known as "Saber", is a former Pro Hero who left the business when she realized how corrupt the Hero Public Safety Commission was, and currently works as a bodyguard for whoever is willing to pay her. Izuku hires her sometime after Sori Jaga's "attack".

Her Quirk, "Unlimited Blade Works", grants her the ability to copy swords that she stores in a pocket dimension that she can summon or shoot out of.

     Tokoshi Totoyai

Tokoshi Totoyai

Quirk: Power Comes With Age

Hair: Grey

Tokoshi is a muscular 85-year-old elder whose Quirk, "Power Comes With Age", rendered him too weak to be accepted into hero school back when he was still a teenager, but when he has generated enough strength, he ends up becoming too old to attend one.

His experience with fighting and vigilantism is enough for him to be accepted as Midoriya Foundation's third bodyguard.

  • Badass in a Nice Suit: He now wears a butler uniform under Izuku's employment.
  • Battle Butler: Admitted that he always wanted to be one, and one of the reasons he wanted the job.
  • Cool Old Guy: He is 85 years old, very muscular, and has experience in underground fighting and being a Vigilante.
  • For Great Justice: His old reason for wanting to be a Pro Hero is to "fight against evil", and still carries it today.
  • Healthcare Motivation: The main reason he is hunting for a job is to pay his grandson's medical bill, which Izuku happily foots in, to his surprise.
  • Lightning Bruiser: He's very muscular, but he can keep up with Quirked Izuku.

  • Stronger with Age: The older he gets, the more strength his Quirk gives to his body. At his current age, he can flip a truck.

     Giza

Giza

Quirk: Perfect Combatant

Fur & Hair: Brown & White

Skin: Grey

Giza is a mutated rat who was experimented on by a group named The Foot alongside Nezu before they escaped and goes on their separate ways. When he visits the U.A. principal to look for a safe harbor for himself and the four experimented baby turtles he saved from the same group, Nedzu and Izuku offer him a place in Midoriya Foundation, becoming the fourth bodyguard.

His Quirk, "Perfect Combatant", allows him to master various martial arts.

  • Animal Jingoism: Downplayed. While he's a rat and Sori's a cat, they're professional enough to not antagonize each other.

  • Bare-Fisted Monk: His Quirk helps him become one.
  • Barefoot Cartoon Animal: He is an anthropomorphic rat and wears no footwear.

  • Foil: To Nezu. The U.A. principal is a Cartoon Creature often described as resembling a "mouse", is short, possesses high intelligence, and prefers to take time and measures to gather resources and influences before tackling The Foot. Giza is unambiguously a rat, relatively tall, a master in martial arts, and believes that The Foot needs to be destroyed immediately. The last point is why they parted ways.
  • Handwraps of Awesome: His arms are wrapped in one.
  • Interspecies Adoption: He saved and adopted four mutated turtles from a more recent experiment of The Foot.
  • In the Hood: His robe has one.
  • Magnetic Hero: He managed to entice most of the future members of The Sky Pirates to come with him by telling them that he can help them or offer them what they wanted.
  • Old Master: His attire and demeanor resemble one for martial arts.
"I find that doing unnecessary things during combat is what often leads to defeat".
  • Remember the New Guy?: He is an old friend of Nezu.
  • Rodents of Unusual Size: He is a human-sized rat with human traits Quirk.
  • Stealth Expert: He managed to sneak behind Nedzu in his office in U.A., playfully mocking its security. Later on, he can hide the Cerberus triplets from Izuku during the bodyguards' surprise trial.
  • Stealth Hi/Bye: seems to enjoy the "Hi" part.
  • They Would Cut You Up: A victim of this alongside Nezu after The Foot grants them Quirks by exposing them to The Ooze.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Fu notes that "Perfect Combatant" only helps Giza with martial arts skills, with no additional oomph.
Fu's Notes: He pretty much has a maxed-out skill stat. But the disadvantage of that is that the rest of his stats are just average. And in this world, you can't win every battle with skill alone.
