U.A High School is a prominent academy where most of the high-ranking heroes graduated from. They started to involved in the story when the government requested their assistance to aid D.O.C and Midoriya Foundation.

Unless mentioned, assume tropes related to their canon counterparts already apply.

  • Innocently Insensitive: He has his moments. He tries to avert this when he pointed out how Fu didn't seem to enjoy his time in Mighty World despite joining his family there instead of staying at home.
    "I was aware that Todoroki was emotionally distant but I didn't know he was this out of touch!"

Quirk: Zero Gravity, One for All

A U.A. student Izuku meets when her mentor All Might visits the Midoriya Foundation. Her Quirk allows her to change the gravity of the things she touched
  • Adaptational Badass: Thanks to having One for All, she has Super-Strength and her Quirk has evolved so she can add weight to an object. This led her to be one of Class 1-A's The Ace.
  • Best Friend: She becomes Izuku's best friend.
  • Ship Tease: Keeps getting these moments with Izuku. The story tags reveal the two will end together.

One of U.A.'s The Ace in class 1-A and son of Endeavor, the No.2 Hero, His Quirk allows him to create both ice and fire, but he swore to never uses the latter
  • No Social Skills: This got him in a lot of trouble. He shows Kiba the number of property damages she caused to the mansion, unaware that it will solidify her opinion that it is her fault that Izuku collapsed from overwork. And since he never really interacted with his classmates, Ochako bought Yonda's lies that he looked down on her because she thought it was in character for him to be The Proud Elite.
  • The Proud Elite: Ochako presumed him to be one.

     Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki Bakugo was Izuku's former bully, who now entering U.A. high under certain restrictions.
  • Adaptational Karma: People found out about his bullying record, causing him to be avoided by the other students and barred from participating in U.A.'s Sports Festival in his first year.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Most of his classmates avoided him due to his record, and he did not join the rest of the class who goes to the Midoriya Foundation to assist the Foundation.
  • Hated by All: The Foundation children hated him for bullying their dad.
  • Jerkass Realization: He saw that the comments on the fake video of him Suicide Dare Izuku condemn him, realizing that he was lucky that Izuku did not follow through.
    No one thought it was out of character for him to say something that horrible. Everyone believed he would do that, even his own parents admitted to thinking the video was real at first.
    He wanted to be angry about that…but he actually HAD said that. So technically, he was the kind of person to say that.
    And that…frightened him a little. Because people who'd done things like that had actually gotten people killed. What if Deku had actually taken his own life?
  • The Rival: To Ochako Uraraka. She never holds back against him since she knows more detail of his bullying past and is a friend to Izuku.

  • Mistaken for Racist: Is trying to avert this by asking if it's okay to refer to Quirkless as a "condition".
  • Sheltered Aristocrat: She wasn't really aware of just how many parents are willing to throw their kids out or abuse them. There's a reason Kaminari calls her, Iida, and Todoroki "Privileged Trio".

The Principal of U.A. High.
  • Cruel to Be Kind: His choice of method to help Izuku is to let him collapse before sending Class 1-A as The Cavalry to maintain Midoriya Foundation as he recovers.
  • I Lied: Multiple times:
    • He lied about class 1-A are not allowed to harm the OPC during the exercise, but turns out they can.
    • He told class 1-B and their homeroom teacher that their class will have survival training in the forest, not telling them that it is where Midoriya Foundation is located and that they were there to test the foundation's G.R.I.M.M-based security system.

     Toshinori Yagi - All-Might

Quirk: One For All

The No.1 Pro Hero in Japan, a teacher in U.A High, and the mentor of Ochako Uraraka, All-Might is The Paragon everyone looks up to.
  • Heel Realization: He realized how Izuku's mental health issues were started by his comment that a Quirkless person cannot be a Hero.
  • Heroic Self-Deprecation: He sees himself as a bad influence on Izuku, believing that his collapse was because the Quirkless teen tries to emulate his Chronic Hero Syndrome and Determinator before Aizawa asked him to stop because The Eeyore teacher notices that the teen also emulate this trope from the No.1 Hero as well.
