Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Kor, god of seemingly-wise elders who are eviler than they appear to be (Metal Kor)

Reason: Kor, the true main antagonist of Jak II, should represent Wise Old Folk Façade because he succeeds in representing that trope both figuratively and literally. He qualifies figuratively because he acts calmly and wisely around Jak, the game’s protagonist, whereas in actuality he’s short-tempered and impatient. When they first meet, Kor is the one to suggest to Jak that he join The Underground, a resistance movement founded to oppose the tyrannical rule of apparent Big Bad Baron Praxis.

Meanwhile, Kor is eligible for this trope in the literal sense because the "old folk" part is as much of a facade as the personality he gives off. By the end of the game, he reveals that he’s not an old man, but rather the leader of an Eldritch Abomination race called the Metal Heads. He disguised himself as a human the whole time and pretended to side with the good guys so he could get ahold of the Precursor Stone (An artifact sealed beneath the city where the game takes place, which would give him and his subordinates the boost of energy they needed to destroy said city).

[up] Yeah, as much as I'd like him to be a Guardian, I think he'll be fine in Soldiers And Warriors.

Added more flavor text, as well as some minor revisions. Anything else needed or is this profile good to go?

"1941. The Desert Fox, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, arrives in Libya to assume command of the Afrika Korps. Within a few months, Rommel, the rising star of the German Army, recaptures the territory taken by the British and Commonwealth Forces prior to his arrival. Despite being heavily outnumbered by the British Forces, the superior range and armor of the German tanks allows the Afrika Korps to take the fight to the Allies. By July of 1942, the Desert Fox and his unstoppable Afrika Korps, in a series of classic Blitzkrieg attacks, pushes the British Forces eastward, across the deserts of Libya, and into Egypt. Now in late 1942, holding their ground a mere 60 miles from the Egyptian capital of Cairo, British Field Marshal Montgomery's forces, including the Desert Rats of the 7th Armored Division, prepare to blunt the German offensive, and regain the initiative."

Sgt. John Davis and Tank Commander David Welsh, Patron Saints of Desert Warfare (Davis, Welsh: Fox Three)

  • Conflicted Opinion: Maho Nizhizumi, The Anglerfish Team
  • Members of the famous 7th Armored Division, better known as the "Desert Rats", Sgt. John Davis and Tank Commander David Welsh are both long-time veterans of the grueling North African campaign. Davis fought as an infantryman, while Welsh commanded a Crusader Mk. III cruiser tank.
  • Davis' baptism of fire was at the Second Battle of El Alamein, where, under the command of one Captain Price, took part in several defensive, diversionary, and later offensive battles against elements of the Afrika Korps. He would then see action again during the Tunisia campaign, where he took part in vicious fighting to secure the route to Tunis.
  • Welsh, on the other hand, was known to have fought during the British advance into Libya in January 1943, where he engaged Panzers of the Afrika Korps in a massive Epic Tank-on-Tank Action. In addition, he's also destroyed several 88mm Anti-Armor guns during one of these battles.
  • In addition to fighting in North Africa, Davis is also a veteran of the Normandy campaign, specifically in the Battles for Caen. During these numerous engagements, he's known to have destroyed 3 Tiger I heavy tanks while helping to secure the 7th Armored Division's advance and securing of the areas near Caen.
  • Of special note is that Davis is The Protagonist of his story's respective British campaign, with 11 out of 13 missions being from his perspective. Welsh, by contrast, is more of a case of being A Day in the Limelight, with him and his crew only playable in 2 missions.
  • Both men also notably kept a Diary, each containing important information regarding their upcoming battles. Davis kept diaries detailing important parts of the El Alamein, Tunisia, and Normandy campaigns, while Welsh's diaries described the deserts of Libya as well as the German tanks and anti-tank guns they repeatedly faced.
  • While it is unknown what happened to both men following their last known battles, it is heavily implied that they both survived the war. However, thanks to their impressive actions and feats in the deserts of North Africa, it has been decided to ascend them as the Patron Saints of Desert Warfare.
  • Because of this, both of them ascended as how they had looked during the latter parts of the North Africa campaign, with Davis wearing a short sleeved tunic and short pants, while Welsh ascends alongside the Crusader tank he had last commanded (albeit without the rest of his crew).
  • Immediately, both Welsh and Davis link up with any Allied forces they can find. Eventually, both men are found by Rangers Lt. Randall and Sgt. Bill Taylor, who immediately take them to the other Allied deities present in the Pantheon. Despite taking orders from Americans due to a lack of WWII-era British officers in the Pantheon, they nonetheless decide to do what they can to aid their allies in the fight against the Nazis lurking in the Pantheon.
  • Upon finally meeting the aforementioned Lt. Randall and Sgt. Bill Taylor in person for the first time in the Pantheon, Davis sincerely apologizes to the two men about his failure to save two of their fellow Rangers in time. The aforementioned men were badly wounded POWs Davis and the rest of his unit had found being held at a German aid station. It was heavily implied that these Rangers were captured by the Germans during the failed German counterattack at Point du Hoc.
  • When Davis hears about a Captain Price being in the Pantheon, he immediately decides to report to who he thinks is his former superior officer from the North African and Normandy campaigns. When he finally meets him, however, he soon realizes that the Captain Price in question is not the man he had served under During the War. However, when Price notices the logo of the British 7th Armored Division on the Sergeant's uniform, he immediately tells Davis that the man he's looking for is very likely to be his identical-looking grandfather.
  • Among the deities they immediately get along with are fellow North Africa veterans Lt. Mike Powell and Lt. Karl Fairburne. The latter especially so, due to his close working relationship with members of the British 8th Army, which the 7th Armored Division was part of.
    • Pretty soon, the two British soldiers begin exchanging stories and intel with the former SOE agent. Welsh in particular was astonished that the Germans were able to build a massive behemoth like the P.1000 Ratte. Davis himself was impressed at the ease of which Fairburne destroyed several of The Dreaded Tiger I Heavy tanks with nothing but a Sniper Rifle.
  • Davis comes to oppose the actions of The Basterds, thanks mainly to having been ordered never to harm unarmed German Prisoners-Of-War during the Normandy campaign.
  • Welsh, meanwhile, befriends Darjeeling, due to her extensive knowledge of British tanks like Welsh's own Crusader. In fact, she helps him repair his damaged tank, which had been hit several times by fire from German tanks during the advance into Libya. In exchange, Welsh assists her in her own tank battles against members of the Anglerfish Team.
    • Initially, Welsh mistakes the Anglerfish Team's Panzer IV as well as Maho Nishizumi's Tiger I as hostiles, and almost ends up hitting them with his Crusader's main gun. Thankfully, Darjeeling stops him when she points out that the markings on their tanks are clearly not the Balkenkreuz seen on actual Panzers.
    • It's through Darjeeling that Welsh meets Yukari Akiyama. Unsurprisingly, she immediately begins telling Welsh about her extensive knowledge of his Crusader tank, which impresses the British tank commander a lot.
  • Both Davis and Welsh despise Captain Martin Walker and his infamous actions in Dubai, to the point that they refuse to talk to him altogether. It helps that, in contrast to Walker's Deconstructor Fleet story, Davis and Welsh come from a more straightforward Battle Epic.
  • Upon learning about a Sherman tank being in the Pantheon's Treasures House, both Davish and Welsh become interested in checking it out, the former having been supported by them since the North African campaign, while the latter hopes to upgrade from the Crusader to something with a little more firepower.
  • The two British soldiers find out the hard way that the Nazis aren't the only thing lurking in the Pantheon's deserts, when they come across the Desert Seltas and Desert Seltas Queen, which come close to killing both men had it not been for Amuro Ray and Shiro Amada opening fire on the monsters and saving their lives.
    • Both Davis and Welsh, unsurprisingly, are both speechless upon seeing the two EFF pilot's Gundams, which dwarf Welsh's own Crusader. Nonetheless, both are grateful to the two Mobile Suit pilots, and they begin forming a friendship over their shared experiences in desert combat.
  • Davis gets along well with Royal Navy shipgirl Warspite, thanks in no part to the British Sergeant having been assisted by the Royal Navy at one point late in the Battle of El-Alamein. He personally asks her if she can aid them again in the event that they run into trouble in the midst of combat, to which she agrees.
  • Both men would rather not have Lance Corporal Jack Jones join them in their patrols, mainly due to his age as well as the risk of him becoming The Load. Not to mention that he's mainly trained as a Home Guard, while both of them are mainly specializing in patrolling the vast Sahara Desert.

Captain Price: "Bloody fine work men. The 7th Armored's made it out of this mess thanks to our efforts on this flank. That said, our job here is done. So let's get the hell out of here."

Alrighty, it's been a month since the release of Seven Sirens on Consoles/PC, and around three months since the Apple Arcade Full Release. The main meat of this Shantae update is mainly to bring it to Seven Sirens. There's no need to really update the title, as she is still the quintessential belly dancer of the Pantheon, though the reason why I wanted to wait until now is because the information in my opinion is too much for a silent update unlike either Rottytops' or Risky's profiles.

Shantae (Opinion Mode: [tup] or [tdown] allowed)

Shantae, Goddess of Belly Dancers (Half-Genie Hero, Guardian Genie of Scuttle Town)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portrait_shantae_fx_shantae_waving.png
As Nega Shantae
  • Intermediate Goddess normally, Lesser Goddess as a human, Borderline Greater Goddess powered up by Light Magic, with other Half-Genie magic via Fusion Stones or as Nega Shantae
  • [tup]/[tdown]: 0/0
  • Symbol: Her lamp
  • Theme Song: "Dance Through The Danger", "The Last Battle" in her Nega Form
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (Chaotic Evil in her Nega Form)
  • Portfolio: Mascot of Way Forward, Half-human, half-genie hybrid, long, purple hair that she uses as a whip, good genie, uses belly dancing for transforming into animals, teleporting, and dancing for others, can use pike balls, fire balls, and thunderclouds, Happily Adopted, cute half-monster girl, Ms. Fanservice, self-doubting hero, is constantly fired and rehired by the town's incompetent mayor, has a dark and dangerous nega form, goes to the beach for a nice tan, practiced ninjitsu, borrowed Patty's officer uniform to play cops and robbers, arranged a sleepover with her friends and archenemy
  • Domain: Dances, Transformation, Hair, Magic
  • Followers: Rouge
  • Potential Heralds: Harmony and the other Half-Genies
  • Allies: Rottytops, Shovel Knight, Genie, Ariel, Aladdin (Both of them), Jasmine, The Monster Girls, Millia Rage, Yuna, Sun Wukong, Toejam and Earl, Filia, Velvet Crowe, Bayonetta (sort of)
  • Enemies: Risky Boots, Gangplank, Jafar, Galeem and Dharkon, The Lich (Adventure Time)
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Miss Fortune, Carmelita Fox (one-sided on Carmelita's end)
  • Odd Friendship: Morgiana
  • When she ascended into the Pantheon, she was 'ret-2-go' after foiling Risky Boots' plan, defeating her evil self after losing her genie powers and even defeating the Pirate Master after reacquiring her genie powers which took the strength of all genies to seal him away. After a reboot, she stopped Risky from perverting the Genie World with dark magic by destroying the Dynamo.
    • However, there are two separate occasions that brought out the evil side of her. Dubbed Nega Shantae, this evil version of the Half-Genie has all the powers she normally has, but instead of using them for good, she uses them to go out and try to kill Shantae and her friends. The first time had Risky using the Genie Lamp to suck out Shantae's magical half, bending it and forming it into a corrupted version of the weakened Human Shantae. The second involved Risky's Dynamo zapping Shantae, polarizing her light magic into dark magic, transforming her into the evil Half-Genie. With that in mind, she keeps away from any being whose capable of manipulating her magic, especially if they're evil.
    • After Shantae's most recent adventure, she returned with a couple of new friends and knowledge of new instant transformations. The Half-Genies petitioned to be Shantae's heralds, reasoning first and foremost that they should be together to make the world better when the Genies of their world eventually return. With a Fusion Stone, Shantae's native abilities augment with their component Half-Genies, revealing invisible objects and entities with Plink's Seer abilities, healing with Vera's Refresh magic, electrifying the area with Zapple's Shock, and trembling the earth with Harmony's Quake.
  • During most of the day, she spends a lot of time in the House of Personal Appearance, trying out different kinds of shampoo and hair cream as well as new clothes.
    • On occasion, she'll be out on the Pantheon grounds wearing three different outfits. With the Bikini costume, she'll be running around, trying to find a beach to tan while collecting sunscreen, attacking with her hair, beach balls, and occasionally floating within a self-made bubble. With the Ninja costume, she's able to teleport instantly and utilizes a wakizashi as her weapon of choice, while also being able to jump and stick to walls. Finally, Patrica Wagon's Police Uniform allows her the usage of Patrica's pistol and the Switch Helmet, which can push and pull blocks in and out of spaces. While she attempts to be Lawful Good wearing this, she can be pretty incompetent, collecting her friends as inmates and arresting baddies for relatively trivial matter.
    • She can very rarely during the day (or if she's sleepwalking during the night) be wearing her Jammies. With this, she tries to gather her friends for a sleepover party, utilizing an army of sheep and a pillow to attack, as well as going to sleep to float around at will for an extended period of time.
  • When she heard that Rottytops ascended into the Pantheon, she wandered around, looking for the mischievous zombie girl. After a crash to the ground courtesy of Rotty practically glomping her, they relished their reunion, especially seeing that she brought Sky and Bolo as her heralds. At least now, it'd be easier to keep track of her now that they're in the same place, as well as put pressure on Risky Boots.
  • She became friends with Jasmine and the two like to talk about their choice of clothing in which Shantae is intrigued that she isn't a belly dancer and would like teach her how to dance.
    • However, she didn't understand Jasmine's friend's, Ariel, choice of clothing, because she tried wearing various amounts of sea creature when she lost her clothes while swimming and it wasn't a good experience.
  • Surprisingly to everyone, despite what she wears on a daily basis, she is very modest, though mainly at the expense of herself or her outfit.
  • Her magical dances allows her to transform into animals, can heal herself, and even destroying her enemies with Obliterate. So far, she can transform into a monkey, elephant, harpy, spider, mermaid, Tinkerbats, and expects a lot more to come.
  • When she is either bored or out of gems, she would perform a stage in front of the audience who went to see her. Sometimes if they are lucky, they could see her wearing this Scuttle Town Dancer Outfit or this Tree Town Dancer Outfit.
  • As a technical monster girl, she meet the Monster Girls with mixed results.
    • Although she got over it, she was very scared of meeting Miia and Rachnera since she encountered not very friendly Naga and spiders.
    • While she enjoys her company with Papi, she does not like having her hair being pulled and has to remind her of it. Fortunately, she could transform into a harpy, so she could fly with Papi without any problems.
    • Other than that, she is rather friendly to Suu, Cerea, and Meron without any sort of problems.
  • When she heard that there was the Genie in the Pantheon, she was ecstatic to meet him, in which she wants to learn more about other kind of genies and to hear his witty humor.
    • As a result, she became fast friends with Aladdin (both of them).
  • Surprisingly, she was able to get along with Morgiana. Either one reason or another.
    • She tried to perform for Riven, but much to her dismay, it failed to raise her spirit.
  • She hates Gangplank, not just because he's a pirate but also whenever he fires his cannons, one of them always hit her house. She had to get it fixed multiple times.
    • With that said, she is willing to be tolerable to Miss Fortune. Maybe because she actually tried being one during one of her adventures.
  • Upon finding other gods that have the power to control their hair, she immediately befriended Millia Rage and Filia.
    • Speaking of Filia, they first met at some ancient ruins, with the half-genie offering to help her look for the Skull Heart after she and Filia introduced themselves, but Samson wasn't as eager and tried to force her to leave. Naturally, it resulted in a showdown, which Shantae came out on top of in just a single minute. Of course, part of the ruins began to crumble as a result of their bout and Samson apologized for his behavior after they were rescued, but Shantae casually blew it off.
  • As a result of the Refresh magic's abilities against undead entities, The Lich took it to mark her up in particular in terms of threats to eliminate.
  • She is currently pondering over whether to donate her lamp into the Treasures of the Gods or not, though unfortunately for her, the Goose loves to steal it due to its shiny exterior.
  • Carmelita Fox has little respect towards Shantae due to the time where Bentley forced her to belly dance during a heist in Ancient Arabia, though working with a wanted criminal (Risky Boots) didn't help matters to begin with.
    • Their relationship is only slightly better if Shantae's wearing Patrica Wagon's police uniform. Even then, Carmelita would simply go do her own thing and not bother with her.
  • She tried to audition for the Smash Bros. Tournament through the Ballot. She had some support and backing from her followers, including her creators and even a couple high profile fans. However, much to her disappointment, the winner was Bayonetta. Despite this, Shantae gets along well with the Umbra Witch for their shared use of their dancing and hair for defeating enemies and/or transforming, even if she admittedly does feel a bit jealous over her admission in the Tournament.
    • Shantae was able to get into Smash after all! ...As a spirit, that is. She was one of countless victims to Galeem's light beams, being forced into a Zero Suit Samus clone body in an attempt to delay the Fighter's approach to Rathalos' cove. After recovering her body in the House of Life and Death, she took it to oppose both the Lord of Light and Embodiment of Chaos and Darkness. Dharkon himself is not a big fan of the Half-Genie Hero, due to her inherent light magic, making her a slightly higher priority target to the chaotic abomination, though not without pondering how a Nega Shantae could be useful for his purposes.
  • As of late, Shantae's been nervous to approach Samus due to a certain event where Galeem created a Zero Suit Samus body for the captive spirit of the half-genie to possess in an attempt to stop the fighters. For the most part, Samus doesn't mind Shantae, since she was one of countless victims of a universe-ending attack by the Lord of Light that reduced almost everyone into spirits, though she could do without all the art and jokes born from this incident.

@Shantae If it's just an update then i don't see a point of bringing the profile over here. Just update to what the story of her games is up to, add one or two extra interactions if you feel like it and call it a day.

[up][up][up] Other dancers she could interact with are Azura, Primrose Azelhart of the Eight Travelers, Yuna, and Mumble.

Now that the Doom Slayer has been reworked, I should note that Zero (Drakengard 3) also has One-Man Army. since we don't allow deities to share tropes unless there are clear variations, I believe she should be reworked with Blood Is the New Black. She is often portrayed with blood splattered on her white dress, as befitting her violent nature and action prowess. It's also a gameplay mechanic in which by being covered in enough blood she can unleash "Intoner Mode", which gives her a boost in power and speed. I did say this before but it got ignored.

@faso Okay, I thought to still bring it on here since what I suggest may be a bit more major what I suggest (primarily the Herald suggestion) than what would be justifiable under a shadow edit.

@Excessive That should be something I'll work on overtime. I'll pull my suggestions up later on, though I believe the profile is sufficient enough for this point.

Ultraman King, God of Final Resorts (Ultraman King only arrives when everything seems hopeless, which is saying a lot since he is a Hermit Guru. He can literally recreate the universe if he wanted to if everything was backing in him.)

In general: Is Fake Memories available so I can bring back Tsukishima with some more meat in his profile, or is someone working on something for that trope?

[up][up][up] For Zero, is the profile itself in need of a rework or is it just a matter of changing her trope and moving her over to a new house?

But that annoying piece of #$%@ citrus fruit with the nightmare face will have to do. [tup] for the orange.

M1gami: Ultraman King could work for Physical God, since his whole thing is that he’s absurdly powerful even by Ultra standards and is capable of universe-level feats.

[up][up] That's not what he meant. He meant that since Physical God is such a generic trope, there are probably other unascended characters who could also qualify for it.

It's been long established that a character does not need to qualify for their trope in comparison to the Pantheon, i.e. Wally West doesn't need to be the fastest being in the Pantheon to qualify for Fastest Thing Alive, so whether he is or not is irrelevant. They must, obviously, qualify for their trope while in their universe of origin.
