Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Day 1 repost for Destoroyah. Currently has 2 approvals.

Destoroyah, Deity of Villains with No Backstory (Destroyah, Destroyer, Dez)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/destoroyah_0.jpg
Destoroyah's final form
  • Greater Deity
  • Symbol: A silhoulette of itself
  • Theme Music: Its theme from Godzilla: Unleashed or Godzilla Generations: Maximum Impact
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Generic Doomsday Villain, Metamorphosis Monster, Micro-Oxygen Beam, Weak to Extreme Heat or Cold, Made up of Microscopic Organisms
  • Domains: Power, Forms, Monsters
  • Allies: King Ghidorah, Deathwing, Doomsday
  • Rivals: The Carapaceons
  • Enemies: Godzilla, Mothra Leo, Rodan, Anguirus, Wishiwashi, the ascended Ultramen, any hero capable of fire and/or ice powers
  • Possibly Interested in: SCP-169
  • When the first Godzilla attacked Japan in 1954, a weapon known as the Oxygen Destroyer was used to defeat him. This ended up having unforeseen consequences years later when microscopic crustaceans evolved thanks to exposure to the weapon. Their prescence became known once they attacked an aquarium and proceeded to attack larger targets thereafter. These smaller creatures are capable of combining themselves to form a larger, more dangerous creature. It is known as Destoroyah, one of Godzilla's toughest opponents in general thanks to a combination of power and sadism.
  • A bunch of creatures running amok throughout the Pantheon one day would only be the prelude to a much larger disaster. Someone witnessed these creatures merging to create a monster that began to destroy everything in its path. It took the intervention of Godzilla and a couple of his allies to stop Destoroyah from destroying the Pantheon and even then, the fight caused a ton of damage. Unlike the last time that Godzilla fought Destoroyah, Godzilla didn't die, but was in critical condition. Worse yet, Destoroyah wasn't actually destroyed like the first time it fought the Big G, as someone extremely vile managed to get it a place in the Pantheon so that it can continue its rampage as it likes.
  • Comparisons have been made between it and Doomsday, another powerful villain who originally showed up to give a hero a very hard fight. While Doomsday succeeded in killing Superman momentarily, Destoroyah fought Godzilla when the latter was undergoing a nuclear meltdown (and thus close to death). That didn't prevent Destoroyah from making things more difficult than it already was for Godzilla at the time. It's a fairly regular occurance to see Destoroyah and Doomsday together causing destruction and it takes quite a bit of time for anyone sent to battle the two together for the damage to stop.
  • Deathwing took great interest in Destoroyah, citing it as resembling an abomination that The Old Gods could come up with. Wanting to test Destoroyah's strength, Deathwing challenged it to a fight, leading to plenty of destruction in their wake wherever their battle took place. Some time later, Deathwing surmised that Destoroyah still harbored a grudge towards Godzilla. Given that Deathwing has battled against Godzilla a few times before, he seems very interested in getting Destoroyah's help in defeating The Big G. From there, the two are free to cause as much chaos and misery as possible should Godzilla be defeated at their hands. Destoroyah is more than willing to take up Deathwing's offer.
  • It could be seen as a darker counterpart to Wishiwashi, being a fusion of several smaller creatures. Unlike Wishiwashi where the small fish is very weak by itself but becomes stronger when more of its kind are around, Destoroyah's smaller forms are a decent enough problem as they are and becomes even more threatening when Destoroyah's final form is at play. Despite apparently not having any sort of interest in eating Wishiwashi, Destoroyah is just eager to kill it whenever the two end up meeting, prompting the school of fish to fight back even if Destoroyah is stronger than Wishiwashi.
  • The major weakness that it has is extreme temperatures, be it heat or cold, and the Pantheon has more than its share of deities capable of using either element. The Miser Brothers are among those that could potentially be a threat to the kaiju, but they already have their hands full in preventing The Shadow Monster (already a bigger threat than Destoroyah as is) from wrecking the Pantheon and Destoroyah already doesn't like the two as they are.
    • Shouto Todoroki is arguably a bigger problem for Destoroyah as he is one of very few deities capable of using both extreme cold and extreme heat effectively. Shouto was surprised after hearing about the kaiju and thought it was comparable to the Nomu designed by the League of Villains at first given its strength as a monster. While it was apparent that it would be challenging for Shouto to go up against a giant monster as the Nomus are already challenging to fight as is, he's willing to help stop it from causing extensive damage.
    • Given Destoroyah's weakness to heat and cold, there are some deities who are considering trying to trick Destoroyah into going to either the subareas for Water And Ice or Fire and Heat given that these two sections have areas that are extremely cold or extremely hot respectively. Such an idea is very risky given how easy it is for Destoroyah to attack anyone that it sees.
  • Some believe that Destoroyah was involved as a creation of aliens in order to fight Godzilla. While it's appearance gives off the impression of it being very alien-like, the kaiju hasn't come into contact with other aliens in the Pantheon. Some evil extraterrestrials have expressed interest in trying to use Destoroyah to conquer the Pantheon.
  • While it's a big crustacean as it is (particularly its final form), there are some other giant crabs in the form of four kinds of Carapaceons that the kaiju has gotten into fights with. The Carapaceons are, for the most part, docile unless provoked, meaning the fights that happen are a result of Destoroyah coming near them. There have been some who think that Shen Gaoren is just as big, if not bigger, than Destoroyah.
  • Destoroyah is already a big crustacean-like being as is, but SCP-169 is far bigger than the kaiju can ever be. What's frightening for many is that Destoroyah could go after SCP-169 at some point and it could happen when Godzilla ends up in a potential fight against The Leviathan. The fact that SCP-169 is merely dormant for the time being is the only consolation for many as it's highly uncertain if SCP-169 will actually want anything to do with Destoroyah.

Sieg, God of Limited Usage Powers (Homunculus, Siegfried, Cardboard-kun, Sumanai Jr., Fafnir, Detached and Kind Dragon, Caster)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sieg_apocrypha.png
SPOILER
  • Lesser God, Intermediate God when using Dead Count Shapeshifter or as Fafnir
  • Symbol: The Dragon Revelation Command Spell
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Homunculi, Coming Back From Brink of Death Twice, Dead Count Shapeshifter, Stock Light-Novel Hero, Rebel Leader, Becoming the "Second" Creature, The Stoic, Becoming Fafnir, Waiting In the Reverse Side of The World For Jeanne
  • Domains: Homunculi, Powers, Transformations, Heroes
  • Allies: Jeanne d'Arc, Astolfo, Siegfried, Chiron, Kouta Kazuraba/Kamen Rider Gaim, Link, Samurai Jack, Reuniclus, Superman/Clark Kent, Optimus Prime, Shido Itsuka, James T. Kirk, Jean-Luc Picard, Ayato Amagiri, Yuu Haruna, Ash Ketchum
  • Enemies: Fafnir, Father, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, King Bradley
  • Wary About: Amakusa Shirou
  • A homunculus what was originally created by the Yggdmillennia for the sake of having powerful Magic Circuits to power the Black Faction Servants in the Great Grail War, he managed to gain self-awareness and escape his fate. While his newly gained life was simply for self-reservation, he ended up taking part on much greater conflict as the main hero to stop the Red Faction from using the Greater Grail for their plans.
  • After Siegfried sacrificed himself to keep Sieg alive, he acquired Command Seals named Dead Count Shapeshifter, which allows him to transform into Siegfried himself. However, the transformation only lasts for three minutes and like other Command Seals, he only possesses three of them, after which he can't transform into Siegfried. Not only that, but he is advised not to use all of his Command Seals, especially since the transformation eats away from his life. Ultimately, he used up all of them even after recovering some of then.
  • Due to the fact that he was saved again by Frankenstein's Monster's Noble Phantasm, he is technically the second Monster. Which makes it sort of confusing for him to be around the actual Creature.
  • Was transformed into Fafnir himself thanks to his wish to the Greater Grail as a way to stop Third Magic from turning humans immortal, taking it to the Reverse Side of the World and waiting there until he would be reunited with Jeanne. He ultimately did, after which he was able to revert back to his normal form.
  • While he always had the fear that Fafnir would consume him spiritually and physically, in the Pantheon, he has to fear that Fafnir himself might come after him and try to consume him. Apparently Fafnir doesn't really has real reason to pursue Sieg, he just hates for someone to use his powers like that.
  • Has really high hopes for humanity as a whole due of himself not being one. As even though he has seen how bad some humans can be, he still believes that humans will ultimately strive for goodness in the end. Such optimistic outlook gained him allies in Superman and Optimus Prime. He also joins Shido Itsuka in discussing human morality and goodness with Captains James T. Kirk and Jean-Luc Picard.
  • In his early life, Sieg was confused about who he was and what he could do with his life, so he used his time in the Pantheon to associate with people who faced a similar quandary, such as Yuu Haruna and Ayato Amagiri. The three are were amazed by their shared attribute: they only found their purpose in life when they met the women they loved.
  • Probably the one person who distrusts Amakusa the most in the Pantheon, though he admits that he doesn't actually hold any grudges against him. However, he does advice against trying to make the two meet as his feelings forwards him are complicated and is not sure what would happen if the two of them would meet, something which he thinks Amakusa also agrees on.
    • Note that Sieg doesn't harbour any bad feelings forwards other Red Faction members, mostly because he didn't have any major interactions with them in the mortal plane. Even then, he understands they had their own reasons to support Amakusa's plan. He respects Achilles and Karna for their fighting prowess and feels sorry that Atalanta tried to accomplish an implausible dream and hopes she can find peace one day. As for Mordred, well, she does admit that she wants a proper duel with him now that he has some actual powers and isn't just some "fake Siegfried". He also admits feeling bad for Jack the Ripper, but he doesn't think that he can he can approach Jack in the Pantheon.
  • As someone who "selfishly" stole humanity's key to immortality and leaving Earth, he gets along with Kouta Kazuraba. The Armored Rider was also proud of his growth as well as both of them hasn't lose their faith on humanity's future.
  • Sort of fascinated by Reuniclus, as he sees it as being another homunculus. The same can't be said about Father and his homunculi, however.
  • Kriemhild, while not having anything personal against Sieg, finds it annoying how Siegfried sacrificed his own to save the life of some random boy, even if it's quite in-character to do something like that. Albeit it could diminish the value of his sacrifice to stop the feud between Kriemhild and Brunnhilde.

PT Imp Group, Deitified Mini Mooks

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pt_imp_group.png
  • Demideities
  • Symbol: Their heads
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Mini Mook, Enfant Terrible, Come in Groups of Three And Possibly in Multiple Packs, Fragile Speedster, Giggling Villain
  • Domains: Mooks, Infants, Patrol Torpedo Boats
  • Allies: The rest of the Abyssal Fleet (Wo-Class, Re-Class, Air Defense Princess, Seaport Princess, Northern Ocean Princess)
  • Enemies: The Admiral, all of the Fleet Girls
  • The Abyssal Fleet is composed of many types of enemies within a sliding scale of humanoid. And in the more human side of things, the "physical age" appearance may vary. While the Fleet Girls thought that they wouldn't see anything younger than a young child like Northern Ocean Princess, they suddenly discovered that within their ranks existed manifestation of the "devil boats" they had to face in the past... in the form of babies.
  • PT Imp Group's main claim to fame is their absurd evasive capabilities. They can avoid just about anything unless specific equipment are used. And back in the days only Destroyers had any real chance to hitting them. And maybe not even that. Fortunately outside of that they are really fragile and outside of their torpedoes don't possess much firepower. That being said, they tend to come in large groups to make things harder to focus on the main threat.
  • Their existence brings a big question mark on the potential life-cycle of the Abyssals. Mainly do they actually grow up or do they exist in one state forever unless otherwise stated? Considering the Abyssal-Ship Girl cycle, it might be the latter.
  • There are some questions on who would be considered their "legal guardian" of sort. Some say the role falls into the role of Supply Depot Princess, but she seems somewhat reluctant to be in that kind of role.
  • Heavy Weapons Guy, Who likes to call his foes babies, couldn't believe what he saw when seeing them, as not even he would have thought he would have to fight actual babies in his life.

I want to write something about someone trying to babysit them (and failing), but with who.

So do you guys think the Colour from Outer Space is ready to go up?

While it is a Pokémon, if Tsuchinoko is allowed I'm thinking Dunsparce given it's based off the creature. We do have a nekomata despite it not being a trope onto itself.

Unless we have someone from the news or the people that think he is a racist (Which YMMV on that, he has made too many oopsies regarding that) i think ascending Pewdiepie is not big deal.

It's comparable to Jontron. Although the new Pewdiepie is way WAY different that the 2012-2015 period

Moro-no-Kimi, Goddess of White Wolves (Moro)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/moro_8.png
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: A wolf head silhouette, with two tails pointing out on each side.
  • Theme Song: Forest of the Shishi God (shared with Okkoto)
  • Alignment: True Neutral / Blue-and-Orange Morality
  • Portfolio: White wolf goddess, really big wolf, Physical God, adopted and raised the human San, who she'll protect no matter what, ships San and Ashitaka, calmly accepting death
  • Domains: Wolves, Nature, Divinity, Family
  • Heralds: Ichi and Nii (sons)
  • Allies: San (adopted daughter), Okkoto-nushi, Ashitaka, other Studio Ghibli deities, Amaterasu, Jon Snow, Mowgli, Aisling
  • Enemies: Cersei Lannister, Mr. Burns, Looten Plunder, Hexxus
  • Complicated Relations: Baloo and Bagheera, Leman Russ, Balto
  • Moro is a wolf goddess who protected the dwindling forest surrounding a human settlement called Iron Town. A baby girl was once abandoned at her paws by her parents, trying to save themselves from the wolf's jaws. Moro adopted that baby and named her San, who she raised alongside her pups Ichi and Nii. Years later, in a confrontation with the Iron Town people, Moro was fatally shot. She decided that was it for her and awaited her death, even as an army of boar gods clamored for an ultimate showdown with the humans and San fought alongside them. Moro's last act before the Forest God took her life was to save her daughter from The Corruption.
  • Moro and her fellow giant animal god Okkoto ascended together in time to fight a battle that was going on between San, Ashitaka and most of the Nature Preservers, and several polluters from the Houses of Commerce and Toxicity. The surprising reinforcements resulted in a swift and decisive victory for the Nature Preservers. San spent that night cuddling with her dearly missed mother and brothers.
  • She was never exactly nice to Ashitaka back in the mortal world and still remains relatively aloof from him in the Pantheon, but at the same time she goes on supporting the blossoming romance between her daughter and him. But as any good mother would do, she's made it clear that she'll tear Ashitaka into pieces if he ever hurts San. In the meantime, they fight alongside each other against their enemies.
  • Moro once saw Ichi and Nii playing with a strange white wolf that was surprisingly as big as them. San explained to her that the third wolf was a direwolf, he was called Ghost and he was owned by Jon Snow, a human she was interested in. Moro went to see for herself this boy who could claim that a giant wolf was his pet. She thought that he was like Ashitaka in some ways, and if Ghost approves of him enough to call him master, then it's not her place to contest that. Also, Jon is happy to tell her all he knows about direwolves, and Moro enjoys listening, so they're pretty good friends despite him being human.
  • There's something about Cersei Lannister that really sets Moro's fangs on edge. It's probably that Cersei is like Lady Eboshi, just much, much worse; Moro thinks the queen has nowhere near the amount of dignity that Lady Eboshi, who the wolf sees as a Worthy Opponent despite everything, had. She's completely willing to fight alongside Jon for a chance at ripping her head off.
  • She likes Mowgli as he reminds her of San, being also a human child raised by wolves. She can be very protective of the boy, even as San thinks he should learn to fend for himself better. Moro thinks the boy already seems resourceful enough, considering he defeated a tiger by himself, he just needs to be distanced from that bear who's planting unrealistic ideas in his head. She sees more eye-to-eye with Bagheera, though she thinks he worries too much sometimes.
  • While Leman Russ piqued her interest for similar reasons to Mowgli, the fact that he fights for humanity puts them at odds. Sure, Moro is not nearly as war-mongering as Okkoto, but she still doesn't think highly of the species that killed her forest. She also wonders if the wolves Leman uses in battle are there of their own will, or if they were enslaved like dogs. Leman himself has a ton of respect for the giant motherly wolf, though.
  • As far as other wolves go, she gets along okay with Sif, even if Sif seems inordinately loyal to a dead human in Moro's opinion. Zinogre looks nothing like any wolf Moro has ever seen, but she respects his strength. She doesn't really acknowledge Wolf O'Donnel as a real wolf though, due to his humanoid stance and customs. Moro bows down to Amaterasu, though this has less to do with Ammy looking like a wolf and more with the fact that she's the top goddess in Shinto. She also takes good care of Chibiterasu when he visits (technically it's Ichi, Nii and San who interact with him more).
    • Aisling easily befriended Moro and her pack through use of her white wolf form. Moro ironically approves of her over most real wolves in the Pantheon, perhaps because Aisling's story reminds her a bit of San's. Also, being a forest fairy, Aisling is comparable to the kodama that lived in Moro's forest.

Okkoto-nushi, God of Boars (Okkoto)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/okkoto.png
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A boar head silhouette with four large tusks jutting out to either side.
  • Theme Song: Forest of the Shishi God (shared with Moro)
  • Alignment: True Neutral / Blue-and-Orange Morality
  • Portfolio: Boar god, Proud Warrior Race Guy, Reasonable Authority Figure, Heroic Albino, blind white eyes, keen sense of smell to compensate, Last Stand, turned into a hate-filled demon, copious amounts of Blood from the Mouth
  • Domains: Boars, Nature, Divinity, War, Pride
  • Heralds: His whole tribe and Nago (a fellow boar god)
  • Allies: Moro, San, Tama Hill Tanuki, Amaterasu, Ares
  • Conflicting Opinion: Ashitaka, the other Studio Ghibli Deities, Pumbaa
  • Enemies: Robert Baratheon, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, Napoleon, GUAE Trollkaiger, Mr. Burns, Looten Plunder, Hexxus
  • Opposes: House of Hatred
  • Respects: Sanada Yukimura
  • Okkoto is an ancient boar god from the southern islands of Japan. San and her wolf brothers fought alongside him and his army against the inhabitants of Iron Town to protect the forest they were destroying. Okkoto's boar army was slaughtered by imperial soldiers with explosives, and Okkoto himself was left in the verge of death. Okkoto's hatred for the humans ended up consuming him and he became a raving demon covered in blood worms, nearly dragging San along. He was eventually put to rest forever, together with Moro, by the Forest God's merciful touch.
  • Ascended at the same time as Moro in order to help in the latest battle that pitted the Nature Preservers against several members of the House of Commerce and the House of Toxicity. San and Ashitaka cheered when Okkoto and his army made their presence known with a Foe-Tossing Charge.
  • Still has quite a problem with humans in general, but San's trying to help him see there are plenty of worthwhile humans in the Pantheon. San herself may also hate humans, but she doesn't want to see Okkoto succumb to hatred and become a blood worm-covered rampaging demon again. However, every once in a while, one (or more) of Okkoto's soldiers does fall prey to those negative feelings and becomes a problem. Okkoto has given his full permission for such boars to be terminated whenever that happens (including himself should it happen to him again). Death Is Cheap in the Pantheon, so it's not so bad, though Okkoto feels ashamed of himself whenever that happens.
    • Given what hatred can do to gods like him, he finds the whole concept of the House of Hatred to be distasteful and does his best to keep himself and his army away from there. This doesn't stop the worst members of that House from seeking them out in a bid to corrupt them and spread chaos throughout the Pantheon. Yuuki Terumi and his Trollkaiger are repeat offenders; Okkoto swears that he'll take them down someday.
  • As far as him learning to like humans goes, he's currently only willing to give a chance to those recommended by San, which is pretty much just her own allies. Okkoto considers them somewhat interesting but has no special wish to make friends with them himself.
    • Okkoto's been learning about the Sengoku period that succeeded his time and has to admit that there were some very interesting humans in that era. The most impressive to him is Sanada Yukimura, for dying in battle for what he believed in. He's glad that such a rare human is in the Pantheon.
  • Okkoto recalls that he promised Ashitaka he'd kill him the next time he saw him. He did indeed try to fulfill it (without San knowing or he'd never hear the end of it), but being old and blind and Ashitaka being a very good warrior and quite slippery, the lumbering god just couldn't do it. Eventually Moro intervened, said Okkoto was painful to watch and told him to just forget the matter as they all fought for the same things. Okkoto begrudgingly acquiesced.
  • For the most part he just sort of ignores the other Ghibli deities; most of them are children, so he sees them as innocent despite being humans, but he doesn't care much about them. He's accused Totoro of having no dignity for becoming a playmate to two little girls even though he's supposed to be a great forest spirit. Totoro likely doesn't care what Okkoto thinks and just keeps hanging out with Satsuki and Mei.
    • On the other hand, he's okay with the tanuki of Tama Hill since they also suffered from losing their forest to human development. He likes Gonta and his followers the best since, like him, they waged war with the humans until the bitter end, and Okkoto sees them as worthy warriors for it. But he's a bit contemptuous about Shokichi and some others, as he cannot fathom why proud forest animals would prefer to live among humans instead of dying in a blaze of glory.
  • Okkoto has the greatest respect for Amaterasu as the highest Shinto goddess, though he sure wishes she had been around when Iron Town was destroying the forest.
  • Boars are sacred to Ares, the Greek God of war. Ares is happy to know that the one chosen to represent boars in the Pantheon is a ferocious and proud warrior, and wants to get in on the action whenever Okkoto is waging war. Okkoto thinks the Greek god is a bit unhinged, but he doesn't mind his help.
  • Robert Baratheon and Diarmuid Ua Duibhne are two deities whose obituaries would read "death by boar", so they don't exactly take kindly to the giant boar god's presence in the Pantheon. They've occasionally teamed up in hunting expeditions to take their Revenge by Proxy. As far as Okkoto's concerned, they're welcome to try.
  • The Pantheon has a bit of a dearth of swine for Okkoto to interact with. He doesn't really care about Babe. He thinks Napoleon is a traitor of the worst kind for going against his nature, adopting human mannerisms and placing himself as a tyrant above other animals. When meeting Pumbaa, Okkoto thought he'd finally met a pig with tusks, but he's not sure he cares for his lifestyle with that strange rat creature, though he admits Pumbaa can be impressive in a fight for his small size.

On related note, i mentioned making Spider-man here being our Pantheon Spider-man. An idea i had after watching Spiderverse. I also mentioned MJ maybe becoming a Spider here.

[up] In the Pantheon, characters are an amalgamation of all mainstream counterparts. Batman here could have faced the Arkham Knight and been there in Young Justice. The REAL question is that if we should ascend Peni, would it be the Spiderverse of the Mangaverse version since they’re so different.

Also regarding Pewdiepie, pewds himself pointed out how biased news outlets exaggerating his controversies and how mainly misinformed older generations seem to believe them still while anyone who familiarity with pewds just moved on from those incidents. I take journalism’s thoughts on him less than a grain of salt

[up][up] Well most have different opinions on Pewds anyway based on his content, we’re talking about supposed racist controversies. Pewds will always have hate which is an product of being the biggest Youtuber ever but he mostly gets flack now from the mainstream media, not the Youtube userbase in general.

[up] If that version of the character is an alternate version then ascend them as their own individual, we have two Gwen Stacy’s after all. If Spider MJ isn’t tied to the mainstream self, then don’t

Well, Mary Jane Watson of the main universe did gain Spider Powers for a brief time during Spider-Island, and in Renew Your Vows, a version of Mary Jane shares Peter's powers using a special suit (she goes by the name Spinneret, I think I mentioned before). I'm sure there are others, too, so there's clearly precedence for the idea.

@Moro and Okkoto: I would like to suggest Xerneas and The Spring Sprite as allies to the pair, due to the former's resemblance to the Forest Spirit and both being Guardians of Life. They'd also respect Yveltal too but it's out of an understanding of life and death. They probably wouldn't like either Lysandre or The Firebird due to wanting to destroy the natural order. Lysandre even more so after destroying his world in his quest to "preserve its beauty."

P.S. Arya Stark could work too as an ally to Moro, possibly remind the wolf goddess of San when she was just a child.

Add those and you can have this [tup].
