Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Bait-and-Switch Boss, Beware the Silly Ones, Bitch in Sheep's Clothing, Everything's Worse With Rainbows, Faux Affably Evil, Lives in a Crapsaccharine World where Everything Is Trying to Kill You, Jerkass, Intentionally Unbearable And Annoying, Mocks The Player At Every Opportunity, Light Is Not Good, able to Light 'em Up, Rainbow With Only Three Colors, Sore Loser, Smug Smiler
  • Interested in: Baal (Diablo), Ratatoskr
  • Allies (the ones that are reciprocated): Lotso, The Goose, Jasper Batt Jr, Hazama, Suction Cup Man
  • Enemies: Every ascended FNAF deity, The SCP foundation and most of their their oddities, regardless of alignment, The Kid, Rainbow Brite, Rainbow Dash, Weather Report, The Angry Video Game Nerd, BrainScratch Commentaries
  • Opposes: The Hall of Darkness and Shadow, Ragyo Kiryuin
  • Opposed by: Ho-oh, The Norse gods
  • Disrespects: Nobuyuki Sugou
  • Disrespected by: Freddy Krueger, the Duck Hunt team
  • Fears: Unikitty, Necrozma
  • Annoys: Basically anyone who isn't listed anywhere else here
  • Chica’s Magic Rainbow is a, well, magical rainbow that is in the titular Mini-Game in Five Nights at Freddy’s World. The game may seem like a Sugar Bowl, but you couldn’t be more wrong, as Everything Is Trying to Kill You, with flowers that shoot their petals at you, bees that shoot laser beams, huge logs that fire out of nowhere and, despite what they say, even the rainbow tries to kill you, especially if you try to turn their voice off.
  • They ascended when a rookie SCP worker (likely a D-Class) noticed a three color rainbow in the sky. A weird sight, they thought, but nothing revolutionary. Then the rainbow came to life and started throwing insults at the worker, angry that they called them “nothing revolutionary”. Then the worker made the situation worse by insulting the rainbow back, saying that the rainbow is nothing compared to a sentient fridge or toaster. Upon hearing this the rainbow finally snapped, attempting to destroy the Pantheon with her rainbow cannon. Once more gods caught wind of this rainbow, they were quickly defeated when attempting to combat it. Upon revival, they reported the disturbance to the Main House, which made short work of the rainbow and brought it to the Court. After a fashion, Chica's Magic Rainbow was ascended into the Pantheon under the trope Rainbow Lite, much to the chagrin of those who had to fight her.
  • Despite being from an alternate Five Nights at Freddy's universe, the animatronics generally don’t like her due to how utterly annoying they are, and they, in turn, enjoy mocking and insulting them at every turn. Springtrap and Circus Baby, who are the only truly evil ones amid the animatronics, don’t like them, either, with Baby noting that the ending the Rainbow was preventing people from seeing by fighting them was an Early-Bird Cameo for her. Not even Balloon Boy, who is perhaps the most annoying himself of all the animatronics, can stand them, as he usually consigns being annoying to laughing rather than childish taunting. Afton for his part also disrespects Chica's Magic Rainbow for "being ridiculous" instead of "a proper kind of killer" like himself. Freddy Krueger has concurred, making fun of the rainbow for a lack of staying power.
  • Chica's Magic Rainbow is, essentially, the Fnaf version of the Duck Hunt dog with Scott Cawthon's tongue firmly in cheek. Oh sure, William Afton is a horrible Serial Killer but she's a Hate Sink in the more...frustrating kind. Before you ask yes, she tried to reach out to the Duck Hunt dog but he thinks her bullying and name-calling is in poor taste; he's fine simply chuckling at the player's misfortune. The AVGN naturally hates having the play against her and wasn't just satisfied when he finally defeated her, but "introduced" a new color to her rainbow; brown. Disgusting as it was, no-one felt all that bad because of how abrasive the Rainbow was. To say the Rainbow was pissed is an Understatement; seeing any episode of the Angry Video Game Nerd will put her into a berserker mode. BrainScratch Comms isn't nearly as crude in how they feel but how they feel is, naturally, deep annoyance at the Rainbow.
  • With the bad impression that Chica's Magic Rainbow made upon ascension, she (maybe she, given the female voice) tried to rehabilitate her image by playing on the Rainbow Lite trope. Namely, she tried to make up a sob story she was only mean because she was made fun off for her limited number of colors, hoping to get just enough leeway to get into the House of Gaming. Her goofy, almost cute in a cheesy kind of way let this work for a little bit. It didn't last since she couldn't help making fun of players struggling with levels. The Kid feels the most agitated by the Rainbow, as her game reminds him of his own trials when trying to become the Guy. However, he views their game as worse, as his trials, at least, had infinite lives and did not have someone constantly mocking him, even though there were lots of screwy moments along the way. There are even points in their game where they are the obstacle themselves, regardless of how good the player has been doing, which nothing in the Kid's trials were like.
  • Despite the vitriol people have for the Rainbow, they did manage to find one ally- the Goose. The Goose enjoys bullying and tormenting people in various ways, usually by stealing their personal belongings, and thus the Rainbow has decided to help him mess with people whenever they can. This usually tends to be them mocking the victim they and the Goose choose to mess with while the Goose tries to steal whatever he can get his beak on behind their backs. Another deity she found common ground with is Lotso, who looks nice but is secretly an evil person. Lotso decided to employ the Rainbow at his temple of Sunnyside to help with trying to interrogate people. The Rainbow's tactic is usually to bother and annoy the victim as much as they can, which gets excellent results. She didn't initially get along with Jasper Batt Jr despite everyone going on about how perfect she'd be for an ally, only to re-evaluate after seeing he too was an obnoxious a-hole with an intentionally annoying boss battle.
  • One day, the Rainbow was out on a taunting spree when they came across Unikitty and began throwing insults at her. This went well enough for the Rainbow- that is, until they brought up the sinking of Cloud Cuckoo Land, which made Unikitty fly into a rage. The Rainbow expected an easy fight, until Unikitty actually killed them in one shot. This was reportedly because Unikitty has the power to destroy rainbow colored objects in a single hit, and the Rainbow had never heard about this ability until it was too late. From then on, whenever a deity feels the Rainbow is getting too annoying, they threaten to call Unikitty and that is enough to cause the Rainbow to panic and flee. As for how Unikitty feels about the Rainbow, she notes that the Rainbow looks kind, but is really a jerk, which isn’t nice.
  • Their presence was enough to really irk Rainbow Brite. Not only does the trope they bear play on her name, but she was under the assumption that rainbows stood for nice and kind things, not for things that annoyed and bullied people relentlessly. The Rainbow notes that her usual rainbow based powers don’t work on them, and that allows them to bully and taunt her and the Color Kids as much as they like, despite all attempts to keep them away from the Color Castle. Initially Chica's Magic Rainbow tried to hide this behavior by acting like a supportive friend to Rainbow Dash. For a few moments Dash was fooled by the act, until she couldn't help himself and made fun of those in the Wonderbolts who were lagging behind and told them to "git good, scrub". It didn't take long for the pegasus to see the Rainbow for the jerk that she was, and seeing a rainbow act so mean was an unpleasant experience for her.
  • Despite how unbearable she is, she is fond of acting "holier than thou" towards the Slimeball Nobuyuki Sugou. Many found this rich as the way he bends the game to be an unfair GM is very in-keeping to the Rainbow's obnoxiously difficult boss battle, but she defends it by saying she may be designed to be intentionally frustrating, but she's not considered a detriment to the story the way Nobuyuki is. Considering even he still has more allies (albeit many of them being like-minded creeps) it comes off as her desperately trying to justify a superiority complex. After all, at the end of the day she's simply a different type of bully than the creep. She is genuinely disgusted by Ragyo Kiryuin and feels she makes rainbows "dirty", though. Of course, considering who Ragyo is her disgust is a step above "Wants a Prize for Basic Decency" behavior.
  • Decided to go on a trolling spree with Suction Cup Man and Hazama, tricking members of the House of Gaming to play obnoxiously hard and buggy video games. For the latter, this was more about cooling off than any of his serious villainy, but for Chica's Magic Rainbow, she finally felt like she was getting comfortable with the Trope Pantheon. As a notorious boss, she was amused by the official holder of the trope, Baal, even if he ignores her. One of the trolling ideas she got in her mind was using her rainbow powers to try and mimic the Bifrost, in order to trick the Norse gods into pratfalls. It didn't really go anywhere since they saw threw it, though they are no less annoyed. The Rainbow was hoping she'd get Ratatoskr's attention since he's a shit-talking, rumor-flinging Troll, but the squirrel couldn't care what she thinks.
  • It's somewhat important to remember as much of an asshole Chica's Magic Rainbow is, she is still a rainbow with the kinds of powers you'd expect. She can summon mini versions of herself to attack, or the Rainbow Cannon; a three minute charge for an unblockable rainbow-colored beam that causes an instant Game Over. It's something people forget about. There is one deity that doesn't fear this in the slightest, however; Necrozma. This isn't because of its high stats mind you, but that Necrozma absorbs and eats light so it is the perfect predator to a living rainbow, so she fears the legendary. She was interested in another legendary, Ho-oh, due to it being a bird themed on rainbows, but the Fire/Flying type dismisses her as an colossal asshole.

What good and evil martial artists could urshifu have interactions with?

Urshifu, Legendary Pokemon of Unblockaable Attacks (Wushu Pokemon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/0892urshifu.png

Kubfu

Gigantimax Forms

  • Intermediate Gods, Borderline Greater Gods in Gigantimax

  • Symbol: The Scroll of Dakrness and the Scroll of Waters

  • Alignment: Lawful Good

  • Profile: Badass Bears, Bare-Fisted Monk. Badasses Wear Bandanas, Signature Attacks always crit, Unseen Fist bypasses protecting moves, Worse Stats than other Legendaries but great moves, NOT a Single-Specimen Species, gains power through training, Relentless Attacker, Disliked for being too strong in competitive play, Single Strike and Rapid Strike, loves Max Honey, Starts timid and is actually still timid underneath

  • Allies: Nebby, Chuck Norris

  • Rivals: The Regi Trio

  • Enemies: Odio (Specifically Ou Di Wan Lee and Odie O'Bright)

  • Urshifu is a Legendary Pokemon Hailing from the Galar Region, specifically the Isle of Armor. Unlike most legendary Pokemon, Urshifu is a specifies: they begin their lives as Kubfu, who then train under Pokemon Trainers before they adopt the Single Strike or Rapid Strike style. However, both styles of Urshifu have the ability Unseen Fist, which allows all of their contact moves to bypass defensive measures such as protect with no damage penalty. Due to this ability matching the trope Unblockable Attack, the Court of Gods decided to allow two Urshifu, one of each style, as well as a Kubfu to ascend as the representatives of the species. Rumor is that they are actually a family, but this has never been explicitly confirmed.
  • In the world of Pokemon, the move Protect is learned by nearly all Pokemon, and is essential for allowing creative strategies and entertaining games in competitive battling. However, Urshifu's Unseen Fist ability allows them to attack through Protect and similar moves (Spiky Shield, Baneful Bunker, etc.) with attacks that make contact. Even Detect, which dodges moves, is not safe. Coincidentally, their signature abilities (Wicked Blow, Surging Strikes) are contact moves with perfect accuracy; additionally, they are also guaranteed critical hits, which allows them to ignore any decrease in Urshifu's attack or increases in the target's defenses. This makes Urshifu a nigh-unstoppable attacker, and many trainers have complained about the Pokemon's effects on the battling meta. In the Pantheon, their ability to ignore most defensive abilities has also made them a dreaded opponent, as instead of blocking or dodging blows a fighter must face Urshifu head-on. Here a list of some abilities that Unseen Fist and Wicked Blow/Surging Strikes circumvents:

  • Unlike other Legendary Pokemon, Urshifu works very closely with humans, as Kubfu requires the guidance of a human trainer to achieve its full potential. As the Pantheon is full of Strong Martial artists, the Urshifu have befriended many of the good-aligned martial artists in the Pantheon; on the other hand, because they believe that martial arts should be a force for good, they adamantly oppose evil martial artists like Ou Di Wan Lee.
    • Urshifu Strike believes in ending fights as quickly as possible, and fosuces one One-Hit Ko's with its special move Wicked Blow. One day while walking around the Pantheon, Urshifu witnessed a monster attack by a Gohma Striker. The pokemon was just about to run into the fray and penetrate its shell, but he was beat to ``punch`` by Saitama, a bald superhero who nearly vaporized the beast in a single strike. In awe of this power and heroism, Urshifu followed Saitama around night and day until the caped Baldy accepted it as a student and partner pokemon. Through this connection, Urshifu has gotten to know other heroes beyond the martial arts sphere, such as its fellow student Genos. The pokemon also respects Li Shuwen, whose unique technique allows him to kill opponents in a single strike, although it's not sure about the "kill" part.
    • Urshifu Rapid Strike strives to emulate a river, with nonstop strikes and flexible pressure. During a martial arts tournament in the Pantheon, this pokemon had the good fortune of being matched against the one and only Bruce Lee, founder of Jeet Kune Do, a style with one of its most important precepts being "Be Like Water". When Urshifu tried to use its signature Surging Strikes, the master expertly parried and countered the first strike, circumventing Unseen Fist. After the tournament ended, the Wushu asked Mr. Lee to be its trainer and teacher, to which he agreed. Through Bruce, Urshifu also got to befriend Ip Man and Chuck Norris, his teacher and greatest rival. Chuck is impressed by both Urshifu but thinks that the Single Strike style is more his speed.
    • Unlike Urshifu, Kubfu is just a trainee, so it often studies different martial arts texts in hopes of developing its skills. When one of the Kubfu found about a golden scroll that contained the secret to "limitless power", it decided to visit the last deity to hold the scroll, Po, to investigate. Po explained that the scroll didn't actually have anything on it, and instead offered to help train the little bear. Now that Po is the Kubfu's trainer, thew two spend much of their days eating and training.

  • Apparently, these Pokemon's power comes from a special organ that gives it "Fighting Energy", which it can then release with special breathing techniques.
  • Other pokemon
  • Honey

[up][up][up]The Collector is a young kid who likes to play kid friendly games while just so happening to be able to create entire universes unto their own, so they could very easily hijack her games to make them not harmful. They also had a shadow form from when they were sealed away and cast the section of the Boiling Isles under their archive and beyond into permanent star filled night.

Also, Would anyone mind having Belos get put back into Motivations for Evil? I know the old Hunters page was cut, but he is still representing Heroic Wannabe, and since that is part of the impetus for him to become a Witch Hunter to begin with, thus him getting put right back where he was is only natural.

[down]Well he still has The Witch Hunter so until such time as the guy who was apparently decided to take that mantle actually ascends, he should stay there for the time being. I mean I haven't seen any indication of that other guy ascending any time soon.

Oh yeah, if it's not a problem I would also like to rework Beatrice, Goddess of Memetic Trolls

The Golden Witch, who has lived a thousand years. She has surpassed the limits of humans and, like demons, will sometimes appear in response to the summons made by humans, to offer her power in exchange for a price. During the Ushiromiya Family conference of 1986, she slaughters the Ushiromiya family on the Island of Rokkenjima in order to resurrect herself. Meanwhile, she plays a game with Battler Ushiromiya over whether the murders were done with magic or human means. Her trolling of Battler has become infamous, and memes portray her as an all-powerful tricker leading Baqttler around the circles.

Someone has suggested that Asterix and Obelix might be better together as joint gods of the Undefeatable Little Village and I would like a second opinion on that please.

They also suggested the druid Getafix for the role of god of Druidic Sickle.

Getafix is a druid that uses a golden sickle for harvesting ingredients for his potions. He carries it around with him all the time. He has to use the sickle to cut the mistletoe for it to have any magical properties. If it is ever broken then he has to get a new one or he can't make the magic potion and he refuses to go the meeting of Druids without since all druids at the meeting carry Golden Sickles.

I am not nominating them yet I want a second opinion.

Asterix and Obelix are the two strongest Gaulish warriors that live in an unnamed little village that regularly defeats the armies of the Roman Empire that are trying are trying to conquer the Undefeatable Little Village so that they can say that they rule all of Gaul. They are nearly always together on adventures with the exception of Asterix first adventure.

If we're in the spirit of suggestion, I would like to know if anyone likes my proposals for Disenchantment or not

  • Elfo, God of Word-O-Names: in the world of Disenchantment, all elves have a name that describes their personality/job/ect, then an o at the end. Like Rulo who's king, Shocko who does shocked expressions ect...except for Kitty. One of the main characters is Elfo, a, well, elf. Trogs turn out to have a similar naming theme, which foreshadows they're part of the same species. Ironically Elfo is only half-elf. Where in Naming and Epithets would this go?
  • Queen Dagmar, Goddess of Poisoned Chalice Switcheroos (Hall of Toxicity)-Dagmar, ultimately the Big Bad and Evil Matriarch of the series, tried to poison her husband Zog with petrification with a poisoned chalice. However a young Bean trying to get grapes caused the chalices to be switched around. Zog believed the poison was meant for him however he had no idea she was Evil All Along until she was cured from petrification, believing instead some other enemy must've been behind it

@RadioRavenRide: Rachel (of the Animorphs) turns into a bear during battle.

Key art of the Mountain Path, with the Keepers' Stronghold in the distance
Map of the Sanctuary

  • Description: A magical island sealed off from the rest of the world, with many biomes.
  • Symbol: A Blob
  • Theme Music: Welcome to Monster Sanctuary
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: The Place, Retraux Metroidvania with plenty of Sequence Breaking, home to all sorts of monsters, Death Is a Slap on the Wrist, After-Combat Recovery, Water Is Air, many areas contain Optional Bosses and/or Superbosses.
  • Domains: Magic, wilderness, seclusion, sprite art, mythology, monsters
  • Sacred to: The Spectral Familiars
  • Visitors: Reimu Hakurei, The Searchers, Beatrix LeBeau, Cassette Beasts party members, Kuneko
  • Banned from entering: Dr. Eggman, Pokémon Hunter J, the Monster Hunters
  • For as long as there has been life in this world, there have been monsters, beings of powerful might and magic. They come in a variety of forms, such as animals, plants, living objects, and ethereal spirits. People who raise monsters from hatching are called, Keepers. 490 years ago, they went to war with kings who wanted to exploit nature at the expense of monsters. To end this war, the four Spectral Familiars created the Monster Sanctuary, an island magically sealed off from the rest of the world, where monsters and Keepers can live in peace.
    • Most people in the Monster Sanctuary live in the Keepers' Stronghold, a stone fortress that was created by the Spectral Lion. There are plenty of services for Keepers here, such as shops that sell goods for adventuring, and a blacksmith who upgrades monsters' equipment. Above it is the Infinity Tower, where Keepers and their monsters can test their skills in battle.
    • The Mountain Path is west of the Stronghold. It's full of weak monsters, making it the perfect place for young Keepers to start their journeys. However, the grasslands above and the caverns below are filled with secrets. It contains a series of stone tablets that tell the history of the Sanctuary in rhyming couplets. It's also home to Old Buran, a man who raises Blobs and trains new Keepers.
    • The Blue Caves are below the Stronghold, and filled with moss and mushrooms. It's full of high ledges, making it difficult to navigate without the aid of double-jump boots and flying monsters; fortunately, the former can be found here. In 490 ACnote , several Champion monsters — wild ones that are stronger than usual — mysteriously appeared here, and the latest generation of Spectral Keepers met each other when they set out to investigate why. The lower levels are filled with water. At the deepest point is a door that can only be opened with the five Sanctuary Tokens.
    • The Stronghold Dungeon is also below the Stronghold, east of the Blue Caves, and contains the Sanctuary's only prison. It was designed for monsters who like to live in dark, damp places such as sewers, so the water is green. It also hides an ancient library. Will, Keeper of the Spectral Toad, was interested in it... and so were the alchemists who tried to take over the Sanctuary.
    • The Ancient Woods, east of the Dungeon, is home to the Tree of Evolution, which stands on the spot where the Monster Sanctuary was created. Keepers can use special items, called catalysts, here to permanently change certain monsters into different (but not necessarily stronger) forms. It's also home to most of the goblin tribes, including their king. While goblins can be hatched and raised like any other monster, they're just as intelligent as humans, and can talk and form societies. It also has an extensive system of dark, underground caves filled with rare monsters.
    • Snowy Peaks, west of the Mountain Path, is perpetually frozen. Its inner caverns are full of giant crystals created by crystal snails, one of the oldest species of monsters. The icy lake is so cold that it's impossible to enter without warm underclothes made by a woman who lives at the summit. It's home to a ghost known only as the Frozen Oracle, who gives Keepers advice on how to protect the Monster Sanctuary, and makes them fight a Champion Akhlut (an orca with legs) as a test of their worth.
    • The Sun Palace is below the Snowy Peaks and west of the Blue Caves. It's a golden temple created by the Spectral Eagle that houses an artificial sun which protects the Sanctuary from natural disasters. Its caretaker says it represents the peace Keepers should strive towards. An alchemist tried to upset the balance by shifting the sun towards darkness, but the caretaker's Koi (not to be confused with mundane koi) sacrificed itself to return it to normal. After this, monsters in the Sanctuary became able to shift towards light or darkness, giving them alternate forms that are stronger and have different colours.
    • Horizon Beach is east of the Ancient Woods. It's home to a ranch where Keepers can leave their monsters, and is the Sanctuary's only link to the outside world; ships are occasionally let through the magical barrier. In the east are cliffs that only monsters with the best flight capabilities can reach. 300 years ago, it was home to Captain Carter, a pirate whose ship could pass through the barrier at all times. In the present, his descendant challenged three of the Spectral Keepers to find his family's treasure in the undersea caverns.
    • The Magma Chamber is beneath the Ancient Woods. The magma level was so high that most of it was inaccessible until Will read out a runestone inscription by the legendary hero Siegmund, which magically lowered it. It's home to Rhazes, and alchemist who has no interest in conquest and just wants to practice his craft, who sells potions in his workshop. The most experienced Keepers can test their mettle in duels against the 25 Legendary Keepers in their hidden room.
    • The Underworld can only be accessed from the door in the Blue Caves. It's a dark, dreary place with a sickly green sky inhabited by undead and occult monsters. It was abandoned a long time ago, so it's full of crumbling ruins, including a tower with pillars that must be moved in order to access certain rooms. The alchemists stole Leonard's Familiar here.
    • The Mystical Workshop is above the Stronghold Dungeon. It was built to maintain and repair Steam Golems shortly after they arrived in 278 AC, but they soon learned to replicate themselves. Now, it's inhabited by all sorts of mechanical monsters. While most of the Sanctuary has medieval technology, the Workshop is filled with gears and pipes. At the very top is a statue that reveals a connection between the alchemists and the occult.
    • The Abandoned Tower is above the Mystical Workshop. It requires the powers of all four Spectral Keepers to access, and for good reason: at the very top is the Sanctuary Genesis, where the alchemists planned to use the powers of the four familiars to recreate the Sanctuary in their image. Its purple, brick walls are crumbling, and it's inhabited by the strongest monsters.
    • Blob Burg is hidden west of the Magma Chamber. For a long time, Old Buran was the only person who knew about it, for it can only be accessed by activating three hidden blob statues. Blobs are a common sight throughout the sanctuary, but almost every species of them lives here. The water is green, and slime drips from the rocky walls.
    • The Forgotten World is below Horizon Beach, and was sealed away for over two thousand years, so it's inhabited by ancient monsters that can't be found anywhere else. The ground is covered in giant mushrooms and vines. Millions of years ago, the Twelve Celestials planted the World Tree here to bring forth life and magic. If it dies, so does all other life on the planet. Later, the Celestial Dragon tried to conquer the world, so the other Celestials, led by the Celestial Raven, fought back. The last time they clashed, three thousand years ago, the Dragon killed the Raven and cursed the Forgotten World with ice. Now, only four of the Celestials remain: the Spectral Familiars, who have only a fraction of their former power and had forgotten all about this.
  • The Spectral Familiars are very strict about who is allowed in the Monster Sanctuary. People who would exploit the monsters, such as Pokémon Hunter J and Dr. Eggman, were instantly banned. While the Monster Hunters try to preserve ecosystems in their own world, the Familiars firmly insisted that hunting is off-limits here. Neither visitors nor locals are allowed to take the Sanctuary's monsters into other parts of the Pantheon in case they wreak havoc. Surprisingly, the Monster Sanctuary quickly formed diplomatic ties with Paleo Pines, another sparsely-populated island where people live in harmony with the wildlife.
  • The Pantheon has plenty of humans who befriend fantastical monsters and command them in battle, and many of them were interested in the Monster Sanctuary. These visitors are warned that they should only let their Mons fight the wild monsters in self-defence and as a last resort, but they're free to challenge keepers to duels. In a Keeper Duel, each side has three monsters on the battlefield at a time. Most of the Pantheon's Pokémon Trainers were surprised by this because they'd never participated in triple battles, and they were even more surprised to learn that monsters can have multiple status effects at a time, which is impossible in the World of Pokémon. In fact, stacking multiple statuses is a common strategy among experienced Keepers.
  • Many gods from similarly secluded fantasy lands were drawn to the Monster Sanctuary. Reimu Hakurei protects the barrier around Gensokyo, a safe haven for all sorts of creatures from Japanese mythology, who are at risk of extinction due to humanity's waning belief in them. She's most interested in the Sanctuary's east Asian-style monsters, such as Tanukis, Sutsunes, and Fenghuang-like Radugas. Meanwhile, Genki (who had previously been trapped in a copy of Monster Rancher) was ecstatic to find out there was a whole Dominion full of Mons in the Pantheon now, and invited the rest of the Searchers to explore it with him.
  • Beatrix LeBeau is the only visitor who's ever ventured into Blob Burg. While exploring the Magma Chamber, a Lava Blob took a liking to her and guided her there through a secret crevasse. It took her to meet the King Blob, who sensed she had an affinity for slimy creatures. While Blobs don't produce plorts, unlike the Far, Far Range's slimes, Bea enjoys taking care of them from time to time.
  • The Cassette Beasts party members decided to explore the Monster Sanctuary because it reminded them of New Wirral, the world-between-worlds they all met on. They split up once they got there. When Eugene encountered a Goblin Archer in the Ancient Woods, he tried recording it on a whim because it suited his aesthetic. To his amazement, it worked, so he told the others once they regrouped at the Stronghold. Meanwhile, Felix bumped into Kuneko, who decided to explore the Sanctuary because she thinks fighting the wild monsters will help her master the four elements. Since she's a monster, the Familiars can't exactly object to this.

Before the changes will be made for the Dominions, I'm thinking if my old profile, New London, would take Glacial Apocalypse over Endless Winter given that in the beginning of Frostpunk (via one of the expansions), the world was sunny before the storms hit, thus hinting that it was an apocalyptic event. Also, New London should be in Fictional Settings, not Fantastical Settings.
