     Jeff the Killer vs. Jason Dean 

Jeff the Killer

Portrayed by: VinnyO
"I open up a window and I bring hell."

  • Ax-Crazy: Throughout the battle from the way he flaunts his knife, to his creepy smile, to bragging about the gruesome murders he's committed, all indications point toward Jeff being batshit insane.
  • Badass Decay: invoked JD claims that he went from a badass Bully Hunter to "the after picture on an ad about meth".
  • Boring Insult: Starts his first verse by calling JD a bore and that the only reason he didn't fall asleep is because he doesn't have eyelids. You can also see him yawning at the start of JD's second verse.
  • Bully Hunter: Both Jeff and JD make references to Jeff getting back at bullies.
  • Catchphrase: GO TO SLEEP.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He may be brutal when it comes to killing bullies, but even he thinks Jason trying to blow up a school just to get back at Veronica for rejecting him was going too far.
  • Facial Horror: JD is pretty disgusted by it.
  • Hypocrite: One of his disses against JD is about how edgy JD is. The very same sentence has Jeff saying he could use JD's corpse as a weapon, and it is followed by him Metal Screaming "Go to sleep, bitch!".
  • In the Hood: Appears for the battle in a white hoodie.
  • Light Is Not Good: He's wearing a white hoodie in contrast to JD's black longcoat.
  • "Not So Different" Remark:
"You're no different from the bullies I singlehandedly bodied!"

Jason Dean

"I'm the kinda guy that the ladies love."

  • Abusive Dad: Jeff mocks him by mentioning his dad murdering his mom.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Downplayed. He insists he's "the type of guy that the ladies love", but Jeff is quick to point out that Veronica stopped wanting him when she saw just how bad he really was.
  • Ax-Crazy: He does a better job at hiding it compared to his opponent but he and his equally homicidal opponent bring up gladly J.D.'s plans to blow up his high school. He even flashes some disturbing smirks through his verses.
  • Badass Longcoat: Of course. Jeff is unimpressed, though.
  • Chick Magnet: Claims that the ladies love him, in contrast to Jeff being hated by them.
  • Dark Is Evil: His iconic black trenchcoat.
  • Destructive Romance: Jeff gets in a couple of digs where he labels JD's relationship with Veronica as this.
  • Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: Jeff taunts him about his trauma over his mother's death.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Starts off his first verse with a polite "Greetings and salutations!" before immediately dropping a petty pot shot at Jeff's looks.
  • Fashion-Victim Villain: invoked Jeff tells him that if he wants to destroy the world's evil, he should start with his own haircut.
  • Goth: Jeff calls him this.
  • Gun Nut: Contrasting with Jeff's preference of knives.
  • Missing Mom: As Jeff states, she was blown up by JD's father.
  • My Name Is Inigo Montoya: Starts his first verse by stating his name.
  • Not Good with Rejection: Jeff mocks how J.D. planned to blow up his high school just because Veronica broke up with him.

     Zuko vs. Jack Frost (Bonus Episode)

"No one's coming close to my character development."

  • Always Someone Better: Jack mocks him for always being overshadowed by his sister Azula.
  • Boring Insult: Compares Jack's rapping to the sandman putting people to sleep.
  • Character Development: He boasts about having one of the best and most memorable character changes on TV.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Jack references the time Zuko sided with Azula against Iroh.
  • Fanon Discontinuity: invoked Similarly to Po, Jack takes a shot at the Avatar movie that many fans pretend doesn't exist, while boasting that his movie is more remembered.

     Bob Ross vs. Bob the Builder 

Bob Ross

"I've spread the Joy of Painting to the whole generation."

  • Good Angel, Bad Angel: This happens with him midway through the battle. His good angel tries to tell him to keep calm but the bad angel urges him to go batshit insane and that's what happens.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: The April Fools joke is how both Bobs uncharacteristically swear left and right in their second verses.

Bob the Builder

"Been redesigning bridges and houses since '99!"

  • Adaptational Jerkass: The original Bob is a classic Nice Guy. This one still has the cheery attitude but (like in any rap battle) would insult others without a blink no matter how low the joke is. This gets taken higher when (as an April Fools joke) Bob starts swearing and acting actually rude.
  • Boring Insult: He describes Ross's show as "drawn-out" and "like watching paint drying".
  • Flat Character: Ross says that he has the personality of a blank canvas.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: The April Fools joke is how both Bobs uncharacteristically swear left and right in their second verses.

     Peter Griffin vs. Homer Simpson

"This fight reminds me of those times when I beat a chicken."

  • Hypocritical Humor: Calls out Homer's abuse of his children, yet Peter does the same thing to Meg in his series, which is reflected in the rap battle with Peter skipping Meg when bragging about his children being better than Homer's.
  • Parental Favoritism: Stewie is the only one of his kids whom he's outright proud of. He tries to brag about Chris as well, but it ends up coming out as Damning With Faint Praise, and he outright skips over Meg.

Homer Simpson

"And sure I'm plain cuz I've been 'round the globe."

  • Abusive Parents: Peter calls him "the poster boy for child abuse" while showing a literal poster of Homer choking Bart like he often do in his series.
  • Catchphrase: "D'oh!"

     Kirby vs. The Very Hungry Caterpillar 

Kirby

"Hi, I'm Kirby; journeyed from the planet Popstar!"

  • Big Eater: This is the common trait between him and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, though Kirby says a caterpillar lacks the ability to swallow planets like him.
  • Eating the Enemy: He considers doing this to the caterpillar, but later concedes that he has no worthy powers to benefit from.
  • My Name Is Inigo Montoya: Starts the battle by enthusiastically introducing himself.
  • You Are Fat: VHC makes fun of his round shape.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

"Smooth like butter and I'm flyest in the room!"

  • Adaptational Intelligence: The original story gave no indication that he was any more intelligent than a normal caterpillar. Here, he's smart enough to speak English and rap.
  • Big Eater: He has it right there in his name!
  • Cool Teacher: Sees himself this way, having been teaching kids for decades.
  • Specs of Awesome: He has them in some shots to make him look like a teacher.
  • Watch It Stoned: invoked Invoked by Kirby when he likens reading TVHC to being on a drug trip.
    "Only letters you're teaching are LSD!"

     The Spy vs. Robbie Rotten (Bonus Episode) 

The Spy

"It's the class with the most class."

  • Master of Disguise: Alluded to: he opens the battle disguised as the opposite team with a background from a different map.
  • Your Mom: The Spy makes multiple jokes about sleeping with Robbie's mom.

     Sonic vs. The Flash 

Sonic the Hedgehog

"Bring me in and the mic is gone!"

  • Just Friends: Flash makes fun of Sonic always friendzoning Amy Rose.
  • Rule 34: Flash says that Sonic spawned a lot of content from this rule.
  • Super Drowning Skills: Flash references this while Sonic is shown having trouble staying afloat.
  • Your Mom: He mocks Flash for not being able to save his mom in time.

     Norman Bates vs. Jack Torrance

  • Creepy Crossdresser: His "Mother" personality takes over during the second verse and he starts wearing her clothes as well, all while holding a knife and looking blood-splattered.
  • Deliberately Monochrome: To allude to his first movie being in black-and-white, Norman and his background are in monochrome as well.
  • Momma's Boy: Jack mocks how dependent Norman is on his mother. Even in the battle, Norman asks for help from his "mother" before starting his second verse.

Jack Torrance

"There won't be secrets behind closed doors when Here's Johnny!"

  • The Alcoholic: His alcoholism is a major part of his story in his source material, so Norman disses him for keep drinking as if it will solve his many problems.
  • Disowned Adaptation: invoked Norman mentions Stephen King's dislike of the changes made to the story in the film adaptation, and accuses King of "filling [Kubrick's] floors with bad blood" over it.

     Ted vs. Paddington (Bonus Episode)

"I stay dope, harvesting farms like it's no trouble!"

  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Like in his films, Ted drops swear words rudely left and right in his verses.

     Doctor Strange vs. Doctor Who 

Doctor Strange

Portrayed by: Mr. Tibbs
"I'm tearing off like a paradox, you can't square against the most prepared in this pair of docs!"

  • Anti-Hero: The Doctor questions why does Strange come off as less heroic than the (anti-)villainous Doctor Doom. In the battle itself, Strange claims he can save Galifrey from extinction, but he won't.
  • Fake American: British Benedict Cumberbatch casting as Doctor Strange is mocked in-universe by The Doctor, who in particular mocks the bad accent.
  • Time Master: Brags about how as the wielder of the Time Stone, he can bend time anyway he likes.

The Doctor

  • Doom Magnet: Strange says he keeps picking up new companions who ended up dying, making him as much a threat to his friends as to what actually dooms them.
    Doctor Strange:: You killed Rose the moment you picked her!
  • Plot Armor: Strange says The Doctor having this is how he could save all the planets he saved.

     Loki vs. Count Olaf

"Watch the God of Tricks Ragna-rock a diss!"

  • Composite Character: Most of the lines references his Marvel Cinematic Universe version, although references to the comics and original mythology version are here and there.
  • Copycat Mockery: He begins his second verse by shapeshifting into Count Olaf to mock his more questionable behavior. He gets bonus points for seamlessly attaching it to the end of Olaf's first verse and catching viewers off-guard as a result.
    "Count Olaf:" Is it just me, or is it melting in here? Somebody toss me water
    After all, I’m still parched- [turns back into Loki] -From thirsting over my foster daughter
  • Crown of Horns: Wears his horned crown from his comics, something Olaf takes several shots at, such as saying it make Loki looks like a goat.
  • Extreme Omnisexual: Count Olaf mocks how Loki would have sex with anyone to the point of siring animals of various species, bringing up the horse story from Norse mythology in particular.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: His ultimated desire is to be loved by his father and brother, but Olaf says that he is never going to get it.
  • Mind-Control Device: Loki boasts he can use his sceptre to mind-control millions and Olaf himself, although Olaf argues that makes Loki lesser than Olaf who can keep his staff under control without it.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: Count Olaf says Loki is nothing when compared to his brother Thor, "the GOAT of gods".
  • Parental Abandonment: Olaf mocks how he is left to melt by Laufey as a baby and have to be adopted by Odin.
  • Pride: He is quite prideful of his ability, and takes offense to the idea of Olaf being any where near him. Olaf notes that Loki's pride is so big, it can't be swallowed.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Can shapeshift into other person and demonstrates it by turning into Klaus and Count Olaf himself during the battle.
    Loki: I'm shapeshifting; you're out of shape, shifty!

Count Olaf

"When fighting fire with an arsonist, you better keep your ass guarded!"

  • Assist Character:
    • Subverted; Lemony Snicket appears as a narrator just before Olaf's second verse, but does nothing to help him, instead mocking him for not knowing when to quit.
    • Downplayed when the final verse has Olaf backing himself up in-character as two of his more noteworthy alter-egos (Captain Sham and Stefano) and an unflattering impression of Loki.
  • Composite Character: A mixture of the book, movie and TV versions of the character.
  • Copycat Mockery: He dresses up as Loki while doing a mocking impression of him.
    Olaf-as-Loki: After Thor's image fleeted, I needed a kiwi
    To save my series of unfortunate screenings
    And I thought I could be loved by my father and Thor, but no!
    Olaf as himself: For you, that's not how the story goes!
  • Determinator: Lemony Snicket says Olaf is too blindsided to know when to quit.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: When Loki claimed he thirsted over his foster daughter, he immediately tried to correct him.
  • Gag Nose: Loki comments that his nose is big enough to bridge the nine realms.
  • I'm a Doctor, Not a Placeholder: In his guise as Stefano, he mocks Loki's personal issues using this:
    I study snake biology, not mental health
    But with that family drama, you should get help
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Like his opponent, he's known for his disguise. However, his disguises are much more mundane than Loki's shapeshifting and it's pretty clear that his Captain Sham, Stefano, and Loki disguises are just him in different clothes.
  • Pyromaniac: Brags about being an arsonist, an unmentioned contrast between him and the Frost Giant Loki. He certainly doesn't seem to mind things burning around him as the battle is coming to a close.
  • Thin Chin of Sin: His chin is a bit pronounced, which definitely doesn't make him look appealing. Loki mocks it by saying it could pluck someone's eyes out.

Lemony Snicket

  • Greek Chorus: Appears between Loki and Olaf's second verse to comment how Count Olaf has just been burned, but he's not going to give up.
  • Lemony Narrator: But of course; he shows up to provide narration to bridge Loki and Olaf's final verses, during which he explains the definition of a word he just used while drily mocking Olaf for not knowing when to quit.

     Barney Stinson vs. Sheldon Cooper

"I came here to pick up chicks, not pick fights with chickens."

  • Actor Allusion: In-universe, Sheldon says that if it weren't for people taking pity on him, he'd have as much success with women as Neil Patrick Harris note .
  • The Casanova: Opens his first verse by asking where are the women he could have picked up.
  • Casanova Wannabe: Sheldon claims that his boasts about his game are "most illogical" and that in reality, the only reason women ever sleep with him is out of pity.
  • Commitment Issues: Sheldon claims that the rap battle must be Barney's first commitment considering his lifestyle of dumping women.
  • Disappeared Dad: Sheldon connects Barney's Commitment Issues to Barney's dad abandoning him.

Sheldon Cooper

"I'll have you know I'm a theoretical physicist, but I bet that this idiot doesn't get what the difference is."

  • Borrowed Catchphrase: He borrows Barney's "Suit up!" catchphrase, and turns it around on him to make a pun about Barney getting sued for his history of sexual harassment.
  • Insufferable Genius: Sheldon's first lines is saying that Barney is definitely too stupid to get what Sheldon's job (theoretical physicist) actually is.
  • Nerds Are Virgins: One of Barney's insult is claiming that Sheldon is a virgin.

     Jaws vs. The Loch Ness Monster

"I chomp on a speedboat dropped in the east coast!"

  • The Dreaded: Nessie mentions that he gets beaches blocked off, and Bruce brings up the time he left fishermen screaming and crying.
  • Genre Popularizer: invoked Bruce boasts that his movies started the Summer Blockbuster genre.
  • Hypocrite: He says that Nessie's CGI is bad, but Nessie reminds him that his movie's editing crew and use of animatronics made it flop.
  • Jumping the Shark: Said word for word by Nessie.
  • Nightmare Retardant: invoked Nessie compares Bruce to Baby Shark in terms of scariness and later adds on that the Special Effects Failure is partially why the movie is not scary.

     Yuri vs. Toko Fukawa

"Let me read you a poem I wanted to write."

  • Ascended Extra: Her first appearance in Monika vs. Harley Quinn featured her for a few seconds. Here, she gets her own battle.
  • Assist Character: For Monika in the aforementioned battle against Harley Quinn.
  • The Cameo: In Natsuki vs. Raven.
  • Flat Character: Toko/Jack sees her as too one-note to be worth anyone's attention.
    Genocide Jack: What a basic bitch; I'm shocked you got beat
    Like, what character is left in your files to delete?!
  • Masturbation Means Sexual Frustration: Jack mocks Yuri for having to pleasure herself because she can't get a date.
  • Psycho Knife Nut: She's wielding a bloodied knife in her second verse.
  • Self-Harm: Jack finishes the battle by taking a dig at Yuri's tendency to cut.
  • Shrinking Violet: Jack accuses her of instantly regretting every sentence she stutters out.

Toko Fukawa/Genocide Jack

"When it comes to my racier tastes, I'm not shy!"

  • Advertised Extra: Toko may be the one named in the episode's title, but she only gets four lines in before Genocide Jack takes control for the duration of the battle.
  • Gonk: Yuri calls her an ugly troll.
  • Hated by All: Yuri claims that nobody in Toko's life cares about her and if she killed herself, she won't be missed.
  • Kill Tally: Yuri makes note of Jack carving tally marks into her thighs for everyone she kills.
  • Oblivious to Hints: Yuri mocks Toko for being madly in love with Byakuya despite him openly hating her so much that he tried to frame her for murder just for the hell of it.
  • The Pig-Pen: Yuri claims that Toko never showers.
  • Shear Menace: Jack wields her signature scissors, even making a rock-paper-scissors pun about them.
  • Virgin-Shaming: Jack likes to emphasize Yuri's nonexistent love life, even joking that since she can't get a boyfriend, her being named Yuri makes total sense.
  • Toilet Humor: Jack makes note of the suspicious yellow stain on one of Yuri's poems, joking that she leaves bigger messes in the bathroom than Leon Kuwata.
  • With Friends Like These...: Yuri says that Toko's friendship with Komaru is as dead as Jack's victims.

     Tim Burton vs. Quentin Tarantino

"The devilish nightmares I craft, are a straight godsend of class!"

  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: When Tarantino points to the camera at one point, Burton turns to look as well in confusion.
  • Executive Meddling: invoked Tarantino says that while he's a free filmmaker, Burton is a slave to Disney executives.
  • Monochrome Casting: While Tarantino boasts about diversity in his casting, he accuses Burton of having a bias towards white actors.
  • Serial Spouse: One of Tarantino's disses implies he is this. (In real life, Burton only had one divorce, but he did have two ex-partners.)
    Tarantino: Exploding people's hearts like your brides did with divorces!
  • Teeny Weenie: Tarantino claims that Frankweenie was as short as his penis.
  • Throat-Slitting Gesture: invoked Does one at his final line while talking about Uma Thurman's On-Set Injury during the filming of Kill Bill.

Quentin Tarantino

"Cause I spit so sick, call me Tentin Quarantino!"

  • Bloody Hilarious: Blood splatters all over the background during his verses, and Burton references his constant use of blood in movies.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: He tells Burton that he ruined a million childhoods while pointing towards the audience.
  • Disappeared Dad: Burton brings up how Quentin never got to know his dad Tony Tarantino because the latter left him to pursue his dream of being an actor.
    Burton: Dad wanted to be an actor, left you for the dreams that he chased. Never got to see him like he jumped inside the briefcase.
  • Fetish: His infamous foot fetish is brought up by Burton.
  • Flipping the Bird: He pulls a double one in his title card.
  • N-Word Privileges: Tim jokes that Tarantino hops in timelines to bounty hunt for the n-word pass.
  • Prima Donna Director: Burton seems to think so when he calls him out for indirectly causing Uma Thurman's injury on set.
  • Self-Plagiarism: Burton accuses him of continually repeating the same basic storylines in all his movies.
  • Your Mom: "Heard your mom ran a cat shop, makes sense she'd raise a pussy!"

  • Always Someone Better: He asserts that he's always been on top and Twitch will never be near him.
  • Follow the Leader: invoked TikTok brings up how YouTube ripped off the shorts format from him.
  • Padding: invoked Twitch accuses his videos' intros of being filled with this, due to the YouTube algorithm favouring videos with longer runtimes.
  • Russian Reversal: He brags that he's the site Google searches for.

  • Early-Bird Cameo: He can be seen in the background during YouTube's first verse at one point.

  • Approval of God: invoked He boasts about getting a positive reaction to Siren Head from Junji Ito, who he's a big fan of, while Corpse's song "DAYWALKER!" got criticism from Anthony Fantano.
  • Death of the Author: invoked Corpse points out that because Trevor is vague about works, his fans take it upon themselves to write the canon themselves.
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!: "I married the game then killed it, bitch! Now I'm the Corpse Husband!"

Siren Head

"Be careful what you wish for when you're paired with this creature!"

  • Enemy Mine: Both he and Long Horse assist Trevor in the battle, despite being archenemies.
  • Voice Changeling: Siren Head raps using two different voices before copying Corpse Husband's own voice.

Long Horse

"Disaster's near and I've come to warn you before it's too late now."

  • Assist Character: He starts the battle with one line before his creator takes over.
  • Enemy Mine: Both he and Siren Head assist Trevor in the battle, despite being archenemies.

     King Dice vs. Oogie Boogie 

King Dice

"I'm Mr. King Dice! Don't you even try now!"

  • Badass in a Nice Suit: He boasts about having a better look than his opponent since he's wearing a tux.
  • Eat the Camera: His transition during his boss fight that consists of this is referenced.
  • Off with His Head!: At the end of the battle, Oogie punches his head off.
  • Slasher Smile: Has one while threatening Oogie to not do anything otherwise he'll find out why they call King's house The Die House.
  • You Are Fat: He compares Boogie to a KKK member who went on too many lunch breaks.

Oogie Boogie

"I got the hooks and the jives to keep the Boogie alive!"

  • Badass Boast: "This high roller's gonna smoke you like the devil's lettuce!"
  • Evil Sounds Deep: His voice is deeper than King Dice.
  • Eviler than Thou: He's unimpressed with King Dice and calls him a failure of a mobster.
  • Fat Bastard: A big fellow and a bigger villain.
  • Plot-Irrelevant Villain: King brings up how his irrelevance to the plot of his movie, saying he only had 52 seconds of screentime.

     Squid Game vs. MrBeast

  • Clickbait Gag: One of his disses is worded like the title of a typical MrBeast video:

  • The Gambling Addict: Gi-Hun's gambling habits are referenced, with Jimmy sarcastically hoping that Gi-Hun doesn't bet all his money on winning the rap battle.
  • The One Thing I Don't Hate About You: For as fairly critical he is of Beast as a whole, Gi-Hun doesn't deny the ton of good work Beast has done with his donations and videos, but rather that he's more interested in the fame and money that comes from it.
  • Survivor's Guilt: MrBeast points out how winning the games and the money also left Gi-hun having to live with his opponents' death.
  • Taking the Kids: Jimmy mocks Gi-Hun's attempt to get custody of his daughter from his ex-wife, which fails even with all the money he won.

  • Assist Character: Karl shows up to help Jimmy complete a line.
  • Clickbait Gag: He and Karl mock Gi-Hun's losses with a line that's worded like the title of a MrBeast video.
    MrBeast: I just replaced all of Gi-Hun's surviving friends with LEGOs!
    Karl: Um, Jimmy, there aren't any LEGOs
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Gi-Hun claims that all his friends only pretend to like him because of his money.
  • The Generic Guy: The Front Man claims this, saying that none of Beast's viewers actually watches his content for him, but rather for the challenges.
  • Manchild: Gi-Hun calls him one.
  • Perpetual Smiler: He keeps smiling for a large chunk of the battle, up until the Front Man steps in.
  • Rich Jerk: Gi-Hun and the Front Man certainly think he is an asshole. The former outright compare him to Jeff Bezos and the VIPs, while the latter states that Beast would ditch all of his morals to get richer. Mr Beast himself repeatedly takes potshots about Gi-Hun's tragedies.

  • Adaptational Jerkass: In canon, In-ho was clearly remorseful about being forced to kill his brother. Here, he brags about it.

  • Enemy Mine: Comes in to assist Gi-Hun in spite of being one of the game heads.

  • Greed: His motivation is to gain money, even if it's through illegal means. The Professor says Jordan's greed is what causes his personal life to detoriate.
  • The Hedonist: Brags about being able to throw parties with naked ladies. In turn, the Professor criticizes him for this, pointing out how harmful his drug addiction ends up being.
