    Teal Zircon
Voiced by: Amy Sedaris
  • Absurdly Sharp Claws: As a form of corruption scaring, she now has yellow clawed fingernails on her now darkened hands.
  • Ascended Extra: Becomes one in Little Homeworld Life.
  • Cosmic Motifs: Along with having a tie shaped like half of a star, her hair seems to be styled in a way that it resembles a comet, a trait it is also shared with two other Zircons.
  • Emotional Maturity Is Physical Maturity: She is an overcooked Zircon who is much shorter than the average Zircon, and she often acts like a little girl.
  • Establishing Character Moment: Teal Zircon lets out a Big "WHAT?!" upon hearing that Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond and she died to give birth to Steven, establishing her as a goofy Naïve Newcomer.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: As another form of corruption scaring, her eyes are now shaped like squares.
  • Fatal Flaw: Teal Zircon may not realize it a lot of the time, but she can be Innocently Insensitive towards others, most notably when she shows Rose Quartz's painting to the Rose trio and when she assumes Nephrite doesn't like centipedes.
  • Fun Personified: For someone who is a defective advertiser, she is very enjoyable and quite amusing. This is likely why Garnet picked her to star in the Little Homeworld commercial.
  • Immortal Immaturity: Despite being over several thousand years in age, she more or less acts like a little kid.
  • Innocently Insensitive: She often does and says things that will hurt the feelings of others, and she really doesn't understand that it is wrong until it's too late.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Greatly downplayed. Despite her small size, she is surprisingly fast and can easily catch her foes off guard if they aren't careful. However, she greatly struggles at fighting foes that are far stronger than her. She's a lawyer, not a soldier.
  • Master of Illusion: Averted, as Zircons are not normally able to create illusions. However, she does gain these powers when she equips a special device called a mirage band which grants the user the power to create a variety of hallucinations as well as subtle, but weak mind control. She claims she got the device from Bismuth.
  • Naïve Newcomer: Serves as this in "Little Homeschool".
  • Overly-Long Tongue: She still has a long tongue like she did when she was corrupted. Although, she only has one.
  • The Scrappy: In-Universe. While Teal Zircon is one of the more innocent characters, she is also one of the quirkiest. While she is genuinely trying to be polite and friendly, she can't help but accidentally blurt out the first things she thinks of and can accidentally trigger those around her. The most notable example is Jasper who implies that she is willing to shatter the zircon because of how annoying she is.
Jasper: Can you please get your little friend to shut it?
  • Womanchild: Oh so very much. Her immaturity is essentially her defining personality trait.
    Cherry Quartz
Voiced by: Kimberly Brooks
    Nephrite
Voiced by: Aparna Nancherla
  • Acid Attack: She is still able to spit acid.
  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: It is revealed that Nephrite still hasn't mentally recovered from her corruption to the point where learning the name of a centipede makes her have a panic attack. It is implied that she actually remembers being corrupted and how emotionally scarring it was.
  • Adaptational Hairstyle Change: In the revamp, she has a large spikey pony tail and pokes out of the back of her cap.
  • Animal Motifs: Centipedes. She has pilot stripes on her limbs that evoke multiple limbs and her jacket's tail resembles the rear and back legs of a centipede.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: Her new outfit looks like a mix between her homeworld captain uniform,a nd the casual clothing she wore in the opening for Future. But unlike either, her corruption scaring is no long in the form of spines on her upper arms but rather scutes and pincers that are located on her backside.
  • Masking the Deformity: Unlike most uncorrupted gems, she actually hides her corruption scars. She does this by covering the carapace on her back and the pincers on her rear with a sleeveless jacket that is a part of her form.
    Snowflake Obsidian
Voiced by: Ian Jones-Quartey (original) Roz Ryan (revamped)
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: Greatly downplayed. While she looks mostly the same, she now has a right eye with a black sclera and a white pupil with a pair of short ice crystals on her head that act like horns.
    Bixbite
Voiced by: Ian Jones-Quartey (original) Nola Klop (revamped)
  • Razor-Sharp Hand: Her claw is extremely sharp, and is able to slice through concrete like a hot knife through butter.
  • Shapeshifter Weapon: Apparently, she can change her limbs into a variety of cutting tools, but her crab claw seems to be her favorite.
  • Ship Tease: With Orange Spodumene out of all gems!
  • Talk Like a Pirate: She does this sometimes. And apparently, she is a big fan of pirates.
  • The Perfectionist: Due to being made as a craftswoman, she hates, anything that seems to be out of place or damaged.
    Larimar
Voiced by: Michelle Maryk
  • Black Eyes of Crazy: She has black sclera as a form of corruption scaring and has a very questionable mentality.
  • Brick Joke: Larimar vows to make Steven scream one day in "Guidance". Thirty chapters later in "The Future", she finally does with help from White Topaz.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: Her head is now shaped like that of her CYM design while retaining the jagged lips and closed eyes of her movie deisgn, and now has five fingers as opposed to just four.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: When she opens her eyes, it is shown that she actually has eerie cyan irises with white pupils. Fortunately, they only look creepy because of post corruption, and nothing else.
  • Improvised Lockpick: She is able to open up certain locks by using her clawed fingers.
    Orange Spodumene
Voiced by: Auli'i Cravalho
  • Cute Creature, Creepy Mouth: She is cute looking Monster Girl with a mouth filled with sharp Scary Teeth.
  • Cute Little Fangs: Fortunately, her fangs are most of the time very well hidden when she is calm and relaxed. One could even consider them to be cute looking.
  • Cyclops: She has a large eye hidden under her bangs with a coral-colored pupil.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: Her head is now shaped like that of her CYM counterpart while retaining the jagged lips and closed eyes, and now has five fingers as opposed to just four.: Greatly downplayed. While she looks mostly the same, she now has five fingers on each of her hands and five toes on her feet.
  • Elemental Absorption: Spodumene is able to absorb a large amount of water into her body, similar to that of a sponge.
  • Elemental Shapeshifting: She can seamlessly turn any part of her body into water, and phase through nearly any surface.
  • Extreme Omnivore: She is able to tear apart nearly anything from wooden planks to stone walls with just her teeth!
  • Horror Hunger: The way she eats is just freaky...
  • Make Me Wanna Shout: Just like her corrupted form, she can still emit a very loud high pitched scream. One that is so strong that can knock a person off their feet and even shatter glass. These screams are even strong enough the crack a gem's gemstone if she raises her voice to certain frequency.
  • Rubber Woman: It was always obvious that Spodumene never had bones just by looking at her. Here, she shows that she is able to contort her body in ways that would normally kill an average person. She is shown being able to squeeze herself into a pipe and emerge out of it as if nothing ever happened. She can even stretch out her limbs a decent amount to throw a few good blows at her target. However, her elastic abilities are nothing when compared to that of a Spinel's.
  • Slime Girl: She seems to be one considering her jelly-like body, and feminine build. However, her gelatinous appearance is heavily implied to be a form of corruption scarring since this transparent skin isn't seen in other Spodumenes.
  • Super Swimming Skills: She states she was created to collect valuable resources in aquatic environments. As such, she is an extremely fast swimmer.
    Biggs Jasper
Voiced by: Kimberly Brooks
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: Her body is now far better proportioned and similar to that of a Quartzes, her dark brown corruption patches are far more noticeable, and she has a few stars on her outfit to show her allegiance.
  • The Noseless: Defied. Unlike in canon, her nose this time is actually visible.
    Lace Amethyst
Voiced by: Michaela Dietz
    Crazy Lace Agate
Voiced by: Michaela Dietz (original) Jessica Mcdonald (revamped)
    Angel Aura Quartz
Voiced by: Kimberly Brooks
  • Irony: She was made to be a solider, but eventually mellowed out and became a hipster.
    Blue Chalcedony/Aragonite
Voiced by: Kimiko Glenn
  • Adaptation Name Change: It was confirmed in a post of the author planning on adapting the series that Blue Chalcedony would have her name changed to Blue Aragonite. They say the reason is that Chalcedonies are a type of Quartz and Aragonite would be a better fit for her.
  • Asteroid Miners: Aragonites are made to harvest resources on meteorites that are rich in them.
  • Fast Tunneling: She can use her drilled appendages to travel very quickly through the sediment.
  • Horned Humanoid: She has two spikes on her head and several smaller spikes all over her upper torso.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Just like Jasper, her weapon of choice is a helmet. But unlike hers which looks like a crystalline pompadour, hers looks more like that of one of her plates when she was the Drill Star. It even has a visor that blends into the gem-like design of the helmet.
  • Magnetism Manipulation: She can create magnetic fields with her hands that allow her to attract and repel any metallic objects. She says this trick allows her to easily grasp any nearby resources.
  • Prehensile Hair: She has four long braids of hair that she can manipulate as if they were tentacles. She often uses them as an extra pair of hands and legs.
  • This Is a Drill: She can transform her hands into drills that allow her to mine into the terrain and harvest valuable resources.
    Chrysocolla/Kieselgalmei
Voiced by: Phillipa Soo
  • Actor Allusion: She says that since she was healed, she's become interested in Earth's history. One name she mentions (and gets wrong), is Alexander Hamilton, who had a musical that her voice actor Phillipa Soo was featured in.
  • Adaptational Attractiveness: Unlike her questionable CYM concept art, her new design bares elements of not only that design but also her Starite concept design. Making her look like a pretty witch.
  • Adaptational Job Change: In the original, she says she was created to remove tree stumps, but in the revamp she now takes on the role of a potion maker.
  • Adaptation Name Change: It was confirmed in a post of the author planning on adapting the series that Chrysocolla would have her name changed to Kieselgalmei because the original " didn't just fit with her".
  • Alchemy Is Magic: She states she was created to make potions by gathering the local resources and combining them into concoctive brews. She often uses them for support and offense.
  • Creepy Good: While she is a bit unsettling and dark. She is genuinely a nice person who uses her knowledge of alchemy to help others.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: While she looks like a very malicious gem who has some very morbid interests, and a warped sense of humor. She is actually later revealed to be quite nice and pleasant.
  • Evil Slinks: Inverted. While she isn't exactly evil, she does slink a lot. Making her look both seductive, and unnerving.
  • Goth Girls Know Magic: Well, alchemy instead of magic. But she definitely is gothic with her eerie personality and wears a dark long dress with markings on her eyes that make it look like she hasn't slept in days.
    Watermelon Tourmaline
Voiced by: Anika Noni Rose
  • Acrofatic: Despite her obese stature, she is surprisingly quick.
  • Anime Hair: She now has hair in the form of a green spikey afro.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: She is a large chubby woman and is quite attractive looking.
  • Belly Flop Crushing: She is not only fast but also very heavy. She will often use this weight to advantage by performing a brutal belly flop on anyone beneath her.
  • Bouncer: According to her, one of the roles a Tourmaline were made to do would be to keep unwanted guest out of restricted areas.
  • Bouncing Battler: Thanks to her light but robust body, she is able to quite literally bounce off the walls and rapidly strike her foes.
  • Cool Shades: She now wears a light green visor over her eyes. One which is very similar in design to that worn by a standard Peridot.
  • Decomposite Character: "Eye in the Sky" reveals that the Tourmaline the Crystal Gems fought in "Beach Party" is a different one from the Tourmaline fusion at Little Homeworld. To avoid confusion, the singular one refers to herself as Watermelon Tourmaline.
  • Epic Flail: Her weapon of choice is this.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: As a form of corruption scaring, her pupils are diamond-shaped. But unlike the diamonds, which are circular with a square in the center. Hers however is entirely a rhombus in shape and design.
  • The Noseless: She doesn't seem to have one.
  • Spiky Hair: She now has hair, unlike her original counterpart. That being a spikey mint green afro.
  • Super-Breath: She still has this ability, and can use it to Blow You Away.
  • You Don't Look Like You: Her design is very different from that of Change Your Mind. She now has spikey hair and wears a tank top and pants that are all watermelon themed.
    Bi-Color Tourmaline
Voiced by: Anika Noni Rose
    Moonstone/Adularia
Voiced by: Aimee Carrero
  • Adaptation Name Change: It was confirmed in a post of the author planning on adapting the series that Moonstone would have her name changed to Adularia. They say the reason is that while they are a Moonstone, they changed the name so they wouldn't be confused with another Moonstone who would appear much earlier on.
  • The Beast Master: Greatly downplayed, but she is able to secrete a special sweet that when it comes into contact with any animal will cause it to grow a face similar to hers, allowing her to control them. Her friends are understandably disgusted by this power.
  • Creepy Good: Despite looking like a creepy maniac, she is actually quite friendly.
  • Expy: Her new design definitely seems to be inspired by Moon.
  • Invisibility: It's her main power, very useful for getting herself out of trouble and eavesdropping on others.
  • Lunacy: Many of her powers seem to be connected or related to the moon in some way.
  • Non-Ironic Clown: She somewhat resembles a sleep-themed jester, but isn't malicious in the slightest.
  • You Don't Look Like You: She is now far slimmer and less muscular than she was in her concept art.
    Heaven & Earth Beetles
Voiced by: Tara Platt (original) Kyla Rae Kowalewski (revamped)
  • Adaptation Name Change: They are called Cubic Zirconias in the original, but are changed to Shortites in the revamp. The author for the latter states this is because he believes these gems aren't the best candidates for being a Zirconia.
  • The Smart Guy: These two despite their small size and childish appearance, are actually super-geniuses as they are able to create various objects just by glimpsing at them, and are able to create surprisingly quick and effective decisions.
  • Shorter Means Smarter: Not only are they tiny, but they are geniuses too.
    Grossular Diopside/Impure Iolite
Voiced by: Tara Strong (original) Marieve Herington (revamped)
  • Adaptation Name Change: It was confirmed in a post of the author planning on adapting the series that Grossular Diopside would have her name changed to Impure Iolite because the Grossular Diopsides were orange and green in color while the mandrake was purple. There are some Iolites that are purple and striped, and even others that are blue with a yellow outline.
  • Alliterative Name: Impure Iolite. Well, for her revamped counterpart that is.
  • Animal Motifs: Moles. She has bucked teeth, has clawed fingers, and can dig very quickly underground.
  • Bizarre Alien Senses: She has the ability to sense bodies of water. This is particularly helpful for terraforming since she can point out where the groundwater is so that the Lapis Lazulis can use it to their aid.
  • Compressed Hair: She wears a striped cloth on her head that compresses most of her hair except for a single tuft that resembles a flower.
  • Dig Attack: She can pop out of the ground and can completely take her foes by surprise.
  • The Ditz: She is a surprisingly dim-witted gem. She is constantly taken advantage of by her own stupidity and she only realizes how bad it is when it is too late.
  • Fast Tunneling: She is surprisingly quick when she is burrowing underground.
  • Immortal Immaturity: Even though she is a few thousand years older than Amethyst, she acts almost as if she was younger than her.
  • The Pig-Pen: While gems come from the ground, she seems to be someone who sleeps in it. She is almost always covered in filth.
  • Tunnel King: She is an expert when it comes to tunneling and digging thanks to her clawed hands. She was in charge of making burrows that served as outlines for kindergartens.
  • Worm Sign: She will leave one when she is burrowing underground.
    Smithsonite
Voiced by: Emily King
  • Big Beautiful Woman: She is a very chubby gem and wears an adorable little raincoat.
  • Blessed with Suck: She is mostly indestructible, but can still feel pain.
  • The Chew Toy: And watching her suffer is definitely amusing.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: She looks far different than she did when she emerged in CYM. Not only does she have proper hair and clothing, but her gem is now completely rotated on the inside and now she no longer looks like she is wearing a party hat.
  • Furry Reminder: Her corrupted form resembles a tardigrade and she has extremely high durability. This is most likely a reference to how tardigrades are by far one of the most resilient and durable creatures in nature.
  • High Collar of Doom: It isn't very doomy, but she does have a very large collar. One that completely covers up her mouth.
  • Human Shield: She is almost always used as one, and that isn't even her original purpose!
  • Innocent Blue Eyes: Her eyes are blue in color, and she is very polite.
  • Intrepid Reporter: This is her intended purpose. Smithsonites are tasked with traveling across the universe to gather important information which can be used to inform other gems about what is going on in the universe. However, this one in particular almost always ended up bumping into some kind of trouble be it hostile wildlife, spiteful extraterrestrials, to even just the weather itself!
  • Sci-Fi Bob Haircut: Her translucent pale blue hair is actually stylized as a bobcut.
  • Slippery Soap: This is apparently the reason why Garnet couldn't catch her then and there. It's because she can secrete a special type of sweat that makes her skin become completely slippery to the touch.
  • Stone Wall: She is an extremely durable gem that is very hard to poof, but has very weak fighting skills.

    Lavenderine
Voiced by: Alyson Hannigan
  • Ambiguous Situation: No one is sure if she is a fusion as her large self or fission as her smaller duplicates.
  • Animal Motifs: Magpies. Her corrupted form resembles a giant avian, and she is a complete hoarder. Thus, one could consider her a thieving Magpie.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: She gets distracted surprisingly easily. She is almost always looking for something to add to her collection.
  • Canon Character All Along: She is actually a type of Mica. And she is surprisingly strong considering they are the weakest of gems.
  • Collector of the Strange: While she was primarily made to collect gemstones, she also collects a variety of other objects such as weapons, toys, instruments, garbage, and even skeletons! But her favorite things she likes to collect are gemstones.
  • Giant Woman: She is by far the largest single gem in Little Homeschool, towering at a whopping 11 feet in height.
  • Kleptomaniac Hero: She is on the same side as the heroes, but she enjoys taking their stuff.
  • Pocket Dimension: She stores her collection inside her own personal pocket dimension located within her gem. While all gems have these, her's in particular is very large.
  • Self-Duplication: Lavenderine has the unique ability to voluntarily shatter her gem. The shards will then be able to create perfect replicas of her, albeit much smaller.
  • Sticky Fingers: She will collect anything that piques her interest. Even if it is quite literally trash.

    Kyanite
Voiced by: Mitski
  • An Ice Person: She has ice powers that are often affected by her emotions. But, she can use these powers for both offense and defense.
  • Cannot Tell a Lie: As a side effect of being a living lie detector, she is unable to lie. And as such is forced to keep quiet when being asked about very sensitive information.
  • Canon Immigrant: She doesn't appear in the original work as the first kyanite introduced, but is said to make an appearance in the revamp.
  • Honest Advisor: Served as one for Holly Blue Agate, until she was blamed for allowing the Crystal Gems to escape.
  • Immune to Fire: Surprisingly, despite being an icy gem, she is actually fireproof.
  • In-Series Nickname: She is often referred to as Kya by her friends.
  • Living Lie Detector: Her main purpose. She was created to identify potential rebels or spies and put them to justice.
  • Nervous Wreck: She is a very anxious gem that is very paranoid and has low self-esteem.
  • Recurring Fanon Character: She is based on PinkSpaghetti's main gemsona.
  • Remember the New Guy?: She apparently tagged along with the Crystal Gems while they were escaping the Zoo but she wasn't shown due to being on the outside of the ship and falling to the ocean due to how exhausted she was.
  • Shrinking Violet: Despite living in Little Homeworld, she barely interacts with the residents due to how bashful she is. The only people she feels completely comfortable with are the main Crystal Gems.
  • Shy Blue-Haired Girl: She most certainly qualifies as one.
  • Tragic Ice Character: She is yet another tragic character with icy powers. She suffers from low self-esteem and was abused and manipulate by Holly during her time as being her assistant.

    Lapis Lazuli (Nice Lapis)/Zuli
Voiced by: Jennifer Paz
    Serpentine
Voiced by: Maddie Ziegler
  • Adaptational Job Change: In the original, she was one of Yellow Diamond's top scientists, but in the revamp she is simply hands on mechanic who can detect coming quakes.
  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: She is an Old Friend of Black Rutile in the original version, but in the revamp she never knew her personally.
  • Animal Eyes: As a form of scaring, she now has some freaky-looking Hellish Pupils.
  • Animal Motifs: Snakes, if it wasn't obvious.
  • Deadly Gaze: She can shoot green lasers from her eyes that turn those who get caught in them into statues.
  • Dreadlock Rasta: In the revamp, her hair is stylized in some long dreadlocks that almost look like snakes. She is also a bit of a rebel and has been known for doing many questionable things in the past.
  • Gorgeous Gorgon: She is very similar in appearance to that of a classic Gorgon, but she is also surprisingly attractive.
  • Old Friend: Another one of Black Rutile's, as revealed in "Enrollment" for the original series.
  • Race Lift: A rare example of a member of an Amazing Technicolor Population. In the original, she was described as being orange and yellow in color. In the revamp, however, she now takes on a color scheme that is chartreuse and dull green.
  • Snake Person: Out of all the ways to be scarred by corruption, she definitely got one of the most drastic. She now resembles a weird Humanoid Lizard.
  • Sssssnake Talk: She has a habit of talking like this. It is essentially a weird Verbal Tic.
  • Super-Senses: Much like an actual snake, Serpentine is able to detect vibrations within the ground. This allows her to know if someone is approaching and pinpoint where they are coming from.

    Tiger's Eye
Voiced by: Michaela Dietz (original) Alanna Ubach (revamped)
  • Animal Motifs: Tigers as the name would imply, and even more so than Jasper.
  • Cat Girl: She kind of resembles one given that has a lot of traits similar to the animal that she shares her name with.
  • Glass Eye: In the revamp, her gem is located where her right eye would be and can actually move like a normal eye.
  • Horned Humanoid: Just like the other Quartzs, she has horns on her head. But hers in particular resemble the ears of a tiger.
  • Running on All Fours: Unlike most Quartzes, she usually runs like a wildcat.
    Topiary Stevens
Voiced by: Zach Callison

    Albite/Obelisk
Voiced by: Willa Holland
  • Adapted Out: According to the author of the revamp, they had planned on making the obelisk gem a character that is completely different to this challenge seeker. However, her role is said to be given to another character.
  • Gladiator Revolt: A gladiator who eventually became a Crystal Gem.

    Beryl
Voiced by: Courtenay Taylor
  • Adapted Out: according to the author of the revamp, Beryls are a type of gem family. And as such, Beryl, despite how much the revamp author likes her, will not be in the new adaption. However, her kid-like role will be given to a similar character.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: To the Crystal Gems of her era and Homeworld aristocrats before that. In terms of personality and appearance that is...
