Lars Barriga
- Voiced by: Matthew Moy
- Adaptational Badass: According to Lars in "Black and White", he learned musti-yuddha (a form of Indian boxing) from Connie's dad during the time skip. He finally gets to show off these moves in "The Warning".
- Forgot About His Powers: His Unstoppable Rage against Xenotime seems to have made him forget about using his own special powers. However, this is justified since it's implied he doesn't even realize he has them.
- Hero of Another Story: Only this time, we get a few chapters dedicated to those adventures.
- The Watson: Throughout "The Warning," Lars frequently asks questions about the events of the Light games, which Hessonite readily answers.
- Witch with a Capital "B": Delivers one to Xenotime/Heliotrope after she poofs all the Off-Colors in The Black Pearl Brigade's "Shining Diamond, Part 1".Lars: YOU WITCH!"
Fluorite
- Voiced by: Kathleen Fisher
- Beware the Nice Ones: While she is quite gentle most of the time, she can become quite ferocious if pushed over the edge.
- Scare 'Em Straight: Fluorite is implied to be the subject of a cautionary tale on Homeworld, told to prohibit cross-Gem fusion.
Rhodonite
- Voiced by: Enuka Okuma
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When meeting Morganite again for the first time in thousands of years, Rhodonite flies off the handle and nearly tosses Morganite out of her skyscraper before Steven, Lars, and Fluorite calm her down.
Padparadscha
- Voiced by: Erica Luttrell
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: She accidentally blows her cover by announcing yet again another late prediction.
Flint and Chert
- Voiced by: Kimberly Brooks and Michaela Dietz
- Badass Pacifist: Just because they don't like to fight, doesn't mean they can't fight.
- Cynic–Idealist Duo: Flint and Chert respectively.
- Heroic Sacrifice: In the past, when the Off Colors were about to be discovered, the two Quartzes decided to give themselves up so that their friends could be spared from the wrath of their punishers.
- Refitted for Sequel: Twice. They scrapped from the original Off Color lineup, were brought back into the series, and then proceed to join up with them.
- Sixth Ranger: They reunite with the Off Colors after they were successfully revived by Yellow.
- Those Two Guys: Due to being recently revived, and not really familiar with the current status quo. The two often remark on drastically their society has changed, and talk about the events that have transpired.
Blue Lace Agate
- Voiced by: Michaela Dietz (original) Christine Pedi (revamped)
- Honorary True Companion: Despite not being a member of the group, she is more than happy to help them when they need it.
- Took a Level in Kindness: According to herself, she was once a very mean-spirited Agate who loved bossing others around, but after learning the importance of friendship and love, she softened up and became a far nicer person. Although, she is still very stern and acts as a mother figure to some of the more childish gems.
