Crystal Gems

    Sugilite
Voiced by: Nicki Minaj
  • Suddenly Voiced: She talks more than in canon. Justified since the fic doesn't have to pay for Nikki Minaj to voice her, unlike the show.
    Sunstone/Strawberry Quartz
Voiced by: Shoniqua Shondai
  • You Don't Look Like You: Her design is very different from her canon one, and how has more features that are similar to those of her components.
    Steg
Voiced by: Ted Leo
    Turquoise (Unmarked Spoilers
Voiced by: Billie Eilish
    Devilline
  • Ax-Crazy: Even more so than Sugilite, she loves causing chaos and will become berserk at the slightest thing that could cause her to be ticked.
  • Berserk Button: Do not mention Ice or Heliodor around her, and never remind her that she is a fusion. This will cause her to snap and go berserk.
  • Canon Immigrant: Her status in the original is the same as her components, completely absent.
  • Extra Eyes: While she does have four eyes in total, she often keeps the upper pair closed to give the illusion they are a normal pair of eyebrows. She does this to look as normal as possible and will only open these extra eyes when she is angry or frustrated.
  • Fusion Dance: Of Ice and Heliodor.
  • The Gadfly: She loves toying and messing with everyone around her simply for kicks and giggles. And she does so to both friend and foe, making her very unpredictable.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: She gets angered very easily
  • The Prankster: By combining Ice's shy and anxious personality with Heliodor's happy-go-lucky but cynical nature. Devilline as result is mischievous and devious, and deliberately does things to cause trouble and chaos.
  • Psychopathic Womanchild: Despite being far taller than Garnet, she is far less mature and far more aggressive. She throws violent tantrums and loves playing mean pranks on others just for the fun of it.
  • Recurring Fanon Character: Since her components are based on two of Gemcrust's main gemsonas, it only makes sense that their fusion would be based on the fusion he designed as well.

Homeworld Gems

    Kunzite (Unmarked Spoilers
Voiced by: Faye Mata
  • Extendable Arms: Singular in this case. One of the few parts of her body that retains Spinel's elasticity is her arm tail.
  • Extra Digits: The gloved hand on her tail arm has two extra thumbs.
  • Extra Eyes: She has four eyes in total. With the bottom ones belonging to Spinel, and the top belonging to Pink Pearl.
  • Eye Scream: She still retains Volleyball's cracked eye and now the cracks have spread all the way to her lower eyes. Fortunately, they aren't damaged.
  • Fusion Dance: Of Spinel and Pink Pearl.
  • Performance Artist: She is described as being a classy and graceful show host.
  • Pink Means Feminine: She has a very feminine appearance and has a pink color scheme just like her components.
  • Prehensile Tail: Kind of. While not a tail, she does have a long arm similar to Spinel located on her lower back that acts like a tail.
  • Recurring Fanon Character: She is based on the hypothetical fusion of Spinel and Pink Pearl made by Namy Gaga.
  • White Gloves: Or rather a fuchsia glove. She retains a gloved hand similar to Spinel's on her arm tail.
  • You Remind Me of X: She has often been compared to being very similar to Pink Diamond in terms of both aesthetics and personality. And this is ironic considering the fact that she is composed of two gems that were mistreated by her.
    Giga Pearl
Voiced by: Deedee Magno-Hall
  • Chained Heat: Because the Pearls have no experience with fusion whatsoever, their fusion moves about as if they were stacked on top of each other.
  • Fusion Dance: Of all five members of the Black Pearl Brigade.

Lucent Gems

    Lepidolite/Chrysanthemum Stone
Voiced by: Catherine Tate
  • Adaptation Dye-Job: Her hair is pink and star-shaped in the original, but in the revamped, it becomes a long, white, undercut pompadour.
  • Adaptational Hairstyle Change: As stated above, it is a white Pompadour with a sweeping bang instead of being star-shaped and pink in color.
  • Adaptation Name Change: It was confirmed in a post of the author planning on adapting the series that Lepidolite would have her name changed to Chrysanthemum Stone. They say the reason is that Chrysanthemum Stone is a better alternative because it is a stone that is both black and white in color, and would be considered a better alternative for their fusion.
  • A God Am I: "BEHOLD FOOLISH SPAWN OF ROSE QUARTZ!" "THE GODLIKE SUPERIORITY OF THE MIGHTY CHRYSANTHEMUM STONE!"
  • Clipped-Wing Angel: While she does have the combined strengths of both her fusee's, she then quickly realizes their personalities severely clash against each other.
  • Extra Eyes: She has four eyes in total.
  • Flip Personality: Because Black Rutile and White Topaz have such vastly different personalities. Their fusion will occasionally start to argue with themselves.
  • Flower Motifs: Chrysanthemums, particularly the ones of the white variety. She has light patches on her dark skin that resemble these flowers, While the symbolism of the flowers is mostly ironic for her, they are often associated with spirituality fitting with her larger-than-life personality, and loyalty as she can be interpreted as the loyalty that Topaz has for Rutile.
    • Additionally as an ironic twist, Chrysanthemums are often associated with death instead of life since they are used as decorations for graveyards, and are used to say goodbye to those who have expired. This can be funnily interpreted as the main reason why she would come into existence in the first place, to give her foes a nasty thrashing.
  • Fusion Dance: As stated above, she is the combined form of Black Rutile and White Topaz.
  • Greyscale Of Evi: More so in the revamp than in the original but her color scheme is mostly monochromatic.
  • Half the Woman She Used to Be: Lepidolite is cut in half by Stevonnie in "Enemy of my Enemy", forcing her to defuse.
  • Incoming Ham: She almost always makes a dramatic entrance when forming.
  • Large Ham: Only natural as a fusion of a Card-Carrying Villain and a Perky Female Minion.
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: She has four arms in total. Two muscular arms emerge from her shoulders and two are located on the sides of her midsection.
  • One-Winged Angel: However, despite their differences, Chrysanthemum almost always is able to stay together and try to get the job done.
  • Raven Hair, Ivory Skin: Inverted. She has raven skin and ivory hair!
  • Talking to Themself: Happens when Black Rutile and White Topaz argue.
  • Wolverine Claws: By combing Black Rutile's bowie knife and White Topaz's brass knuckles, she is able to form a pair of tekko-kagis. And she can wield them in each of her hands.
    Bluebird Azurite
Voiced by: Larissa Gallagher
  • Adaptational Badass: She shows her true potential as the series progresses. She can ignite her ice sword on fire and can fire methane bubbles that explode when popped.
  • Adaptational Weapon Swap: She has an ice cutlass in the original, but in the revamp she instead has a methane ice swordstick.
  • Ascended Extra: Like her components, she now plays a bigger role in the series.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: She really hates the Crystal Gems as much as she hates Steven.
  • Cold Flames: Bluebird has the ability to not only create icy blades, but these blades are made of methane ice, which not only freezes on contact, but it also can set the targets ablaze.
  • Flash Step: While implied in her debut, we later see that Bluebird can actually extremely quick bursts of speed that make her go so fast that it gives the illusion she is teleporting.
  • Hartman Hips: While not noticeable at first glance, her design has hips that are wider and curvier, giving her a more short-stack appeal.
  • The Noseless: Defied. Unlike her canon counterpart, she actually has a nose similar to the one that Ruby has.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Despite being one of the smallest cross-fusions in the series, she is very strong. This is shown by how she is able to lift up two gems that are much larger than her into the air with little to no effort.
  • The Prankster: While she was already one in canon, here, it is cranked Up To Eleven. She tricks Lapis into squirting herself with the soda can she was given, she gives Peridot a pair of stasis gloves that make her unable to stop the trash can she is rolling down the hill in, and sneaks up on Bismuth and dumps her own lava on her before she could do anything.
  • Sailor Fuku: Her new design has her wearing a new outfit that seems to be based on a stylized Japanese school uniform.
  • Sword Cane: Unlike her canon counterpart, Bluebird now has access to Aquamarine's wand and can combine it with Eyeball's chisel to create a blue and red Classy Cane. Additionally, instead of the sword resembling a falchion, it now resembles an executioner's sword but with a pentagonal tip instead of a flat one.
  • Technicolor Fire: She has Eyeball's ability to create flames, but this time instead of being orange in color, the flames are blue, indicating how her fire powers have now become much stronger.
  • Wreathed in Flames: Not only can she create very hot blue flames, but she can also engulf herself in them causing her to become even faster, and deal much more lethal damage.
  • You Don't Look Like You: Downplayed. She looks mostly the same as her counterpart, although she is now slightly larger with more robust and curvy proportions.
    Pietersite/Eagle's Eye
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: Her hair is brown in the original but maroon in the revamped. Additionally, her bob cut is now far more exaggerated.
  • Adaptation Name Change: It was confirmed in a post of the author planning on adapting the series that Pietersite would have her name changed to Eagle's Eye. They say that while the name Pietersite could be seen as a reference to how many people like themselves believed the fusion of Aquamarine and Ruby would be one, they changed to Eagle's Eye because not only does it pay homage to Bluebird's avian theme, but it also could be a pun on the fact that one of her gems is in place of where her right pupil would be. Additionally, Eagle's Eye is just another name for Pietersite.
  • Alliterative Name: Eagle's Eye. Well, for her revamped counterpart that is.
  • Animal Motifs: Given her dark color scheme, avian-like wings, and vicious personality. She is essentially a bird of prey. She is even named after one in the revamped version, more specifically an eagle.
  • Ax-Crazy: Considering she was willing to murder her former friends without a second thought, it's safe to say she is both violent and insane.
  • Badass Long Coat: She wears one that is dark red and dark blue in color.
  • Cape Wings: She can actually turn her wings into a jagged cape when she isn't using them to fly.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: She loves bragging about how wicked she can be, and simply hates The Power of Love or The Power of Friendship.
  • Duality Motif: Times three in her case. Her associated colors are Black, Blue, and Red.
  • Evil Redhead: Inherits this from her Ruby side.
  • Fire, Ice, Lightning: She can ignite herself on fire, lob projectiles that freeze her targets, and can shoot waves of lightning with her falchion.
  • Final Boss: Of Alternate Future.
  • Flash Step: Just like Bluebird, she can make quick bursts of speed that allow her to catch her opponents by surprise. She demonstrates this ability during her fight against the Banded Onyx.
  • Fusion Dance: Of Black Rutile and Bluebird Azurite (and by extension Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby).
  • Half the Woman She Used to Be: This is how she is defeated in the original version of the story.
  • It's All About Me: All of her components were very vain and selfish. But her? She takes it to a completely different level.
  • Meaningful Name: She has surprisingly keen vision and has a limited amount of control over the weather.
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: She has four arms that emerge from her shoulders.
  • One-Winged Angel: Once Rutile and Bluebird realize that Jasper and Topaz are fusing, they decide to do it themselves so they can even the odds.
  • Power Gives You Wings: While Bluebird has normal water wings, Eagle's are made of frozen water.
  • The Power of Hate: She is the embodiment of the grudge that Black Rutile, Aquamarine, and Eyeball Ruby have against Steven and all who stand by his side.
  • Primary-Color Champion: Heavily inverted. Despite being primarily blue and red in color. She is by far one of the most malicious characters in the entire franchise.
  • Psychopathic Womanchild: She shows slight shades of this, but considering her components have the mentality of a teenager and two pesky kids, it shouldn't be a surprise that she isn't very mature.
  • Race Lift: She had black skin with brown and red patches in the original. In the revamp, she has dark indigo skin with cyan and scarlet patches. The author of the revamp states this change was made to make her look less like a Fashion-Victim Villain.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: Befitting her status of the final threat the heroes face, Eagle's Eye is red, black, and blue, and very much evil all over.
  • Sci-Fi Bob Haircut: Her hair is styled like a bob cut that combines Bluebird's exaggerated bowl cut with Rutile's frizzly sweeping bang.
  • Sinister Scimitar: She can summon a very threatening scimitar made of black methane ice.
  • Super-Senses: Despite one of her gems being located where her other pupil would be, she has surprisingly good vision.
  • Storm of Blades: Just like Bluebird, she is also capable of creating duplicates of her swords at her targets which explode in fiery ice clusters upon impact.
  • Sword Beam: She can create beams of electricity by slashing the air, and causing a wave of lightning to zoom toward her target.
  • Use Their Own Weapon Against Them: In the original, she was defeated by being stabbed in the face and ripped in half with her own swords. Ouch...
  • Weather Manipulation: Downplayed. While she doesn't have complete control over it like a Lapis Lazuli would with water, she can manipulate it just enough to screw with those around her. This includes blowing them away with a strong gust of wind, to zapping them with a blast of lightning.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Considering who she is composed of, it isn't that surprising that Eagle's Eye would be distraught by the fact Banded Onyx would be willing to defend a group of people that have essentially humiliated them in every possible way.
    Painite/Eclogite
Voiced by: Maggie Robertson
  • Adaptational Name Change: The author of the revamp states that this fusion will be known as Eclogite instead of Painite simply because the colors of that gem would fit better for the group's fusion.
  • All Your Powers Combined: She has all of the powers and abilities of her components.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: If you thought Flourite was the weirdest looking fusion, then you would be wrong as this one takes the cake as she is made of seven gems. Her build isn't very humanoid in appearance, in fact, she looks more like a giant house centipede.
  • Breath Weapon: She is able to shoot bolts of green lightning from her mouth.
  • Chained Heat: Similar to Giga Pearl, her components have a hard time actually cooperating as the only thing they can agree on doing is violence.
  • Clipped-Wing Angel: Becomes this once she realizes her conflicting loyalties.
  • Evil Isbigger: She is significantly larger in size when compared to Giga Pearl.
  • Extra Eyes: It is implied she has these under her visor.
  • Final Boss: Of The Black Pearl Brigade
  • Fusion Dance: Is the gestalt of Cinnabar and her allies
  • Godzilla Threshold: She is formed when Pearls were somehow able to survive and the group decides to use this fusion to kill them as quickly as possible.
  • Logical Weakness: Giga Pearl realizes that because her component's personalities are so diverse that it requires great amounts of concentration. And when it is disrupted, they start arguing with themselves.
  • Mercy Lead: While she could have killed them, then and there, she decides to allow the Pearls a small moment for them to combine together.
  • Merging Mistake: To the point that she looks almost like a natural version of The Human Centipede.
  • Mighty Roar: She lets out a very feral snarl that lets anyone know that they are screwed.
  • Mind Hive: As a consequence of being having a large number of components, her personality isn't really that defined, and the Lucent Gems maintain their individuality within this collective.
  • Multiarmed And Dangerous: She has seven of them. Seven!
  • Multi-Melee Master: She can use all of her component's weapons simultaneously.
  • Near-Villain Victory: Despite Giga Pearl's best efforts, she quickly realized that her opponent was easily overpowering them and would have shattered them on the spot had she not brought up her conflicting loyalties to Black Rutile.
  • Nested Mouth: Disturbingly enough, she actually has a pharyngeal jaw, one that is in the back of her throat and filled with sharp teeth.
  • One-Winged Angel: This is the final form of Cinnabar and all the gems that stood by her side.
  • Our Giants Are Bigger: She is by far the largest fusion in the entire franchise.
  • Race Lift: She is red and brown in the original, but is greyish-green and dull red in the revamp.
  • Scary Teeth: Her mouth is filled with very sharp fangs.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: The only thing that can unit them is their mutual hatred over the Pearls and their desperation for victory. Other then that, they often tend to argue and bicker a lot even though they are on the same side.
  • Villain Ball: Despite how powerful she is, Cinnabar quickly realizes that because their personalities are so vastly different that this fusion apparently has the fortitude of a toddler.
  • Walking Armory: In addition to having all the weapons of her components, she still has access to Pyrite's personal cache.

Cross Aligned

    Mega Pearl
Voiced by: Deedee Magno-Hall
  • Adaptational Badass: While she was already an astounding fighter, we only saw a glimpse of it in canon. Here, we her in full force as she effectively takes on the hoards of Robonoids.
    Malachite (Unmarked Spoilers
Voiced by: Esmé Bianco
  • Aliens of London: She has a British accent, for some reason.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: While Malachite is still a bit of a jerk, at least this time she has her own unique personality and her components aren't constantly arguing with each other. Well, kind of.
  • Cool Helmet: Now that she is far more stable, she can now summon her own weapon: a weaponized diving helemt.
  • Flip Personality: She is depicted with this, with the tone of her voice switching depending on whether Lapis or Jasper is taking control.
  • Gentle Touch vs. Firm Hand: A non-parental version with the newer, slightly more stable version of Malachite. Lapis's hands hold Steven tight while Jasper uses hers to punch away the rockslide.
  • Horned Humanoid: She now has Jasper's horns.
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: She still has more than two arms. However, thanks to Jasper's improved relationship with Steven, she is now far more stable. She now has proper legs and two muscular arms emerging from the sides of her hips.
  • Multiarmed Multitasking: She uses her slim arms to pick up Steven, and her muscular arms to stop the rockslide.
  • Walking Spoiler: Knowing that she returns and is far different than her original self. One can obviously understand how this is a spoiler.
    Orange Moonstone/Banded Onyx (Unmarked Spoilers
Voiced by: Jessica Nigri
  • 11th-Hour Superpower: Jasper and White Topaz fuse into her in order to gain a better advantage against Black Rutile and Bluebird Azurite.
  • Adaptational Name Change: It was confirmed in a post of the author planning on adapting the series that Orange Moonstone would have her name changed to Banded Onyx. They say the reason is that Banded Onyx is a better alternative for their fusion because it has a color scheme of orange, white, and green.
  • Extra Eyes: She has four eyes in total.
  • Fusion Dance: As mentioned earlier, she is the fusion of Jasper and White Topaz.
  • Giant Woman: Is one of the largest double fusions in the series, being significantly taller than both Malachite and Chrysanthemum Stone.
  • Horned Humanoid: Just like Malachite, she too has Jasper's horns. Only this time, they are green instead of teal.
  • Megaton Punch: She is able to deliver a single powerful blow that will cause anyone that is hit by it to be launched into the sky.
  • Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: While she doesn't have extra arms like most of the fusions, she clearly doesn't need them as she pummels her opponents so quickly that often appears as if she does indeed have extra limbs.
  • Red Boxing Gloves: By merging Jasper's crash helmet with White Topaz's brass knuckles, she can create a crystalline boxing glove. However, it is orange and white in color instead of red.
  • Secondary Color Nemesis: Inverted. While both of her components were originally antagonists, and she does have an orange and green color scheme, she is actually fighting for the Earth and standing up to the gems who always tried to take advantage of them.
  • Walking Spoiler: A fusion between two gems who are on opposing sides definitely goes into spoiler territory.
    Diopside
Voiced by: Amy Sedaris and Jennifer Paz
  • Fusion Dance: An accidental one of Teal Zircon and Nice Lapis/Zuli.
  • Something We Forgot: "A Fusion Too Far" ends this way. After helping Lapis make amends with Jasper, Steven wonders how Teal Zircon and Zuli are doing. Meanwhile...
Diopside: Uh, still need a little help here. Is there any way to turn this off?
  • Voice of the Legion: Despite being a mildly stable fusion, she lacks her own voice.
    Rutilated Quartz (Unmarked Spoilers
Voiced by: Jack Black
