  • Barrow is a small, incredibly isolated town on the northern side of Alaska. Because of its location, Barrow tends to experience a month-long Polar Night, where there is no daylight for that much period of time. So, one can wonder what's the worst that can happen. Well, turns out someone proclaims to the town that "They" are coming. "They", as it turns out are a group of vampires led by Marlowe Roderick. Learning of the Polar-Night, he and his coven waste no time upon first night, attacking and brutally slaughtering anyone that happened to get in their way. In time, they took over Barrow for approximately 30 Days of Night, searching for whatever survivors they could.
    • Marlowe led the vampires during his plunder and had the upper hand. Unfortunately for him, his presence did not sit well with the Vampire's ruler, Vicente, especially considering the fact that Marlowe was violating the prospect of vampires being a secret. Angry, Vicente arrived in Barrow and challenged Marlowe to a duel. Unfortunately for him, Marlowe was defeated and slaughtered, prompting Vicente to take up leadership.
    • In another continuity, Marlowe had no competition and was able to stay in Barrow up until the very end of the Polar Night. His death came about at the hands of a survivor, Eben Oleson, who was forced to take an injection via vampire blood to convert himself so that he could be in even shape against him.
  • Regardless, Marlowe did manage to make his way around the shedding of his formerly (im)mortal coil. The destination he was to reach was the Pantheon, where he was surrounded by what looked to be a deathly field under a shadowy, yet illuminating night. He was in the House of Undead and Phasmata. Alongside him were his coven, who approached him with snarls and hisses, positively anticipating their reunion. Reassuming leadership, Marlowe marched his way to parts unknown, now ready to strike the Pantheon.
  • The sort of vampire Marlowe (and by extension, his coven) is is meant to have some unique traits that distinguish himself from other vampires. For one, there are some similarities, such as eerily pale white skin and an insatiable taste of blood. However, these vampires might be some of the scariest and most uncompromising; each and every single one of them have sociopathic traits and retain a sense of modicum thinking, alongside having a pair of big, soulless black eyes. These vampires are also insanely durable by the species's kind; physical force does very little to deter them and they are fast and strong. Another frightening factor is their own blood; contact with it is quick to convert a human into a vampire and even a slight cut or nibble from them is enough to do the deed.
    • Another thing to highlight their otherworldly nature is their way of communication. Marlowe and his vampire pack growl, hiss, bark and sneer like voracious wolves. It highlights their more bestial and feral nature compared to the other Pantheonic vampires. That said, they are capable of human speech, but their language seems to be unknown and indecipherable as of now. Some can understand their language, if only because they're Omniglots.
    • However, even with all of these impressive skills, these vampires are not invincible. If anything, they may be the ones that are most susceptible to light. An ultraviolet light wave can sear a vampire horribly and even a small ounce of direct sunlight is enough to disintegrate them into dust. Regardless, it's an effective counter to what Marlowe's vampirekind are capable of.
  • Marlowe and the type of vampire he and his coven are have created quite the dreadful reputation around those familiar with the Undead. The aforementioned reasons were enough of a notice to describe the formidable force and feral nature of these creatures. Furthermore, they look absolutely terrifying. A pair of fangs? How about a mouthful of them, akin to a shark. The worst part is Marlowe's residing temple isn't even in the House of Undead. Many have suggested finding a way to kill or at least quarantine them so that they could no longer pose a threat. Unfortunately, Marlowe and his vampire pack are relentless.
  • Given that the vampires like him tend to be secretive in nature, Marlowe had to adapt quickly once he realized that his race is basically common knowledge in the Pantheon. He joined the Grand United Alliance of Destruction so that he could provide himself and his coven with better shelter and resources, plus the alliance is filled to the brim with malevolent undead. Within the GUAD, Nekron seeks promise in Marlowe's kind, thanks to their ability to very quickly convert those they manage to make attacking contact with.
  • Kiritsugu Emiya gets a bad vibe whenever he hears about Marlowe. This stems from the fact that when he was a child, his town was struck by a virus-like plague that caused the infected to turn into vampires, which was caused by his father, no less. As a result, Kiritsugu is very wary about how Marlowe's group is capable of converting the attacked into a vampire with just a scratch and will put no stops in combating them, especially considering that the attack on Barrow eerily reminds Kiritsugu of his doomed childhood.
  • Being an evil undead obviously doesn't give Marlowe an easy time in finding allies. Settra of the Tomb Kings hates vampires in general and sees no argument in opposing Marlowe, something which isn't really arguable. The Belmonts and Joestar families, particularly Simon and Jonathan respectively are well known in their battles against vampires and have dedicated themselves in stopping Marlowe. As for the vampire himself, while the Belmonts are certainly no pushover, Jonathan and Joseph Joestar have him uncharacteristically worried, This is because Jonathan and Joseph's use of Hamon revolves around energy based on sunlight and even by vampire standards, Marlowe and his kind are especially weak against it.
  • Of course, there's Buffy Summers, who initially saw Marlowe as another vampire to deal with. However, hearing about what he did to Barrow did shock Buffy somewhat before resolving to still fight against the vampire. Ever since then, Buffy and Marlowe have traded blows against one other, with both often tying against one another, either because Buffy's friends are always there to support her or Marlowe had the GUAD to back him up.
    • More so than Buffy, Marlowe keeps himself very cautious of Shiki Tohno. While Marlowe is a savage killer, a counter to that can exist and Shiki being a feared killer of beasts, said caution is not without reason. The fact that Tohno possesses the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, which allows him to strike down his targets in a single blow isn't helping matters either. He may be one of the most durable vampires in the Pantheon, but Marlowe is beginning to know where to prioritize their survival regarding an enemy.
  • While he's not obviously a zombie, Chris Redfield considers Marlowe to be rather similar in some ways, especially considering the vampire's attacks and blood being capable of forced conversion with the slightest ounce. In some cases, Marlowe's vampires might be worse; unlike the zombies Chris deals with, these vampires have enough rational thinking and are willing to forcibly convert or kill their victims if need be. Chris's many allies, particularly his sister Claire, Leon and Jill have taken preparations in dealing with Marlowe. They could only hope the vampire suddenly gets the attention of Albert Wesker.
  • Due to his exaggerated anathema towards sunlight, Marlowe and his coven stay away from the Hall of Light and Brightness as far as they can. Additionally, Marlowe also tends to avoid confrontation against Superman, considering he's someone who's literally powered by the sun and there was once a case where a vampire was disintegrated into dust for simply biting the Man of Steel. He could only hope the hero somehow uses up all his power and is left weakened without any sunlight to recharge him, but that opportunity seems to be next-to-impossible.
    • Meridia herself has a very low opinion of Marlowe if mainly because she considers the Undead in general to be a scourge that needs to be eradicated. Marlowe, however, prefers to keep his distance from her, mainly because the Daedric Prince happens to represent light and Marlowe doesn't want to risk getting eviscerated by Meridia's mere presence. There's also creations and followers of Meridia, such as the Auroran Daedra and the Purified who themselves embody light in some way. This has made Marlowe and his pack irritated seeing as they are appropriate counters who have the vampires' greatest weakness as part of their biology.
  • Regarding vampires, Count Orlok was pretty delighted to hear of the savagery and feral nature of Marlowe and his coven, eagerly allowing for amicable meetups and planning on how to attack and stalk their prey. Other vampires like Arcueid Brunestud and Eric Brooks vehemently oppose him, considering that Marlowe sees humans as nothing else other than cattle to be feasted upon and Marlowe himself was very perplexed and confused to see how some vampires were able to get along, even make friendships with humans.
  • Evil vampires like two of the ascended Draculas and Dio Brando are keen in enlisting Marlowe's coven into their services. Original!Dracula can get along with Marlowe thanks to their animalistic ferocity, though Castlevania!Dracula and Dio expect some lawful approaches, which Marlowe and his pack don't seem to follow. They seem to be more concerned about themselves than someone else's goals, which makes working with him sometimes difficult. That said, Marlowe can come off as impressionable at rare points, which Dio appreciates as Marlowe does this for extra sadism. He is interested in the Pillar Men due to their interesting abilities and their Commonality Connection with their weaknesses sunlight (except Kars), but the four of them don't have much to detail regarding Marlowe, considering that his vampirekind may be too savage and animalistic to be considered working together with.
    • Of the Von Carstein vampires, Konrad was the easiest preference, given that Marlowe's coven was the perfect vampire group to employ regarding settlement invasions and attacks, with Konrad being very impressed by how Marlowe was able to take over a town and embody such brutality afterwards. Mannfred will work with Marlowe should their ends meet but like Castlevania!Dracula and Dio, his ambitious desires are often at opposition against Marlowe's more simplistic needs. Vlad, however, sees him contemptuously, thinking that Marlowe is not fit to be an ally of his and that having him under his service would damage his reputation, like how Konrad did it beforehand.
  • In his home universe, there exists different breeds of vampires, one of which happen to be very insect-like that are considered "ancient" and feed on other vampires as prey. While it is unknown if this sorts of variation exists in the Pantheon, but Marlowe and his pack have gotten wary hearing about such a creature. If it's not them, then maybe there can be something else in the Pantheon that hunts vampires for sustenance. Only time will tell...
It took us centuries to make them believe that we are no more than just bad dreams. We should give them no reason to suspect.

  • Have visited: Londinium/London,
  • While the trio of Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix are known for having adventures together it wasn't always the case. Obelix only started joining Asterix on his adventures after Asterix had already had one. During one such adventure they came across a butcher shop in Lutetia/modern day Paris and a dog outside decided to follow them, it wasn't till they were back in the Village that the dog decided to make it's presence known to Obelix who adopted the little dog and named him Dogmatix.
    • Asterix: Is the best warrior of his village, using both his cunning and the super strength that he gets from Getafix's magic potion. In his earliest adventure he went to save the druid Getafix from the nearby Roman Camp.
    • Obelix: Obelix is the village's menhir deliver man and strongest warrior in village, due to having fallen into a cauldron of Getafix's Magic potion when he was a kid which gave him permanent super strength. He uses his super strength to help him beat up his foes and to carry menhirs on his back. He loves eating wild boars and fighting.
    • Dogmatix: Dogmatix is Obelix's constant canine companion, he goes on some of the adventures with Asterix and Obelix. He loves trees and howls whenever one is knocked down. He likes to bite any of the trio's enemies on the butt, however if Obelix is being very foolish Dogmatix is not above bitting his master on the butt to teach him a lesson.
  • After having halted constant attacks and other threats from the Romans against his unnamed village, the court of gods had decided to award Asterix with the role of God of Indomitable Villages. The Romans soldiers now fear the village more than ever now that the they have a god on their side. Obelix was sick of being the god of Big Fun since the role kept him away from his best friend Asterix. So he made an appeal to the court of gods so he could join Asterix as another God of Indomitable Villages. The court approved his appeal and let his herald Dogmatix ascend to role of god of Indomitable Villages with him.
  • The trio's temple looks like their Village with surround with the sea on one side and a forest on the others and on the other side of the forest are four Roman camps (Aquarium, Compendium, Laudanum and Totorum). Inside the village it is an near exact copy of the trio's village, the main difference is that there are portals for each of Asterix's friends to travel to their own temples in the pantheon. Asterix and Obelix just use their own houses in the Village as their homes in the pantheon. If any deity was to visit it they would find rest of villagers living their normal days such as Fulliautomatix the village blacksmith hitting Cacofonix to stop him from singing, the various Gauls arguments and fights over Unhygienix's fish, Chief Vitalstatistix falling of his shield. The Gauls are friendly to most people with the exception of any soldiers attacking the village. The village is magical protected from fire attacks while in Pantheon in order to ensure that Brutus or any other deity doesn't burn it to ashes.
  • The first thing that the duo did after being given the same role in the pantheon was to go to Julius Caesar's temple in order to celebrate the fact that the duo was back together by battling some Roman Soldiers. Afterwards they decided to said hello to Julius Caesar while they were there. They found Caesar trying to hide his Laurel Wreath from the duo just incase were trying to take his Laurel Wreath again to flavour a stew. Caesar told them that Brutus is in the Pantheon and suggested that they destroy Brutus' temple as payback for Brutus ordering his soldiers to burn Asterix's Village to the ground with fire arrows. They agreed and thanked Caesar for using his soldiers to have the Village reconstructed.
  • Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix usually get along with their fellow Villagers who are in the pantheon. However Obelix has been seen fighting Unhygienix about which food is better fish or boars. They like Cacofonix as long as he doesn't sing, Asterix isn't above using Cacofonix's singing skills against their foes but the minute the bard is in danger the trio is willing to go and rescue him. They respect their Chief Vitalstatistix most of time unless he is doing something very foolish, Vitalstatistix respects them in turn but has decided not to let them carry him on his shield because of their heights would make them carry the shield at such a steep angle that it would be impossible for Vitalstatistix to stay on.
  • Cleopatra thinks very highly of the trio after they helped win her bet with Caesar and they prevented her from being poisoned. So much so that she later left them her's and Caesar's son Caesarion to protect from Brutus who was trying to kill him in order to make himself the sole heir. She is sorry that Brutus had their Village reduced to ashes and has asked magicians to cast spells to insure that the can't be burnt down again. She is willing to hold a feast in her temple as a thank you for all that they have done.
  • Ever since the duo was reunited, Asterix and Obelix decided to start one of their favorite habits: travelling around the Pantheon, more often than meeting fellow Franco-Belgian deities Tintin and Lucky Luke on the way. Both are thus honorary members of the house of Travel. Tintin told Obelix that if Dogmatix was Obelix's herald he could enter the Pantheon as well. Which led to Obelix going to the Court of Gods and asking them to let Dogmatix ascended as his herald, the court approved Dogmatix as Obelix's herald. Later during Obelix's appeal to join his friend Asterix as the god of Indomitable Villages Tintin gave Obelix's appeal support and when Dogmatix gave the court the puppy dog eyes Tintin suggested that they change the verdict to let Dogmatix in as a god of Indomitable Villages. The court said that Dogmatix was allowed to join his master in the Pantheon as a God instead of a herald.
  • Asterix and Obelix have spent some of their adventures travelling around world usually by foot or by boat. During their travels they keep coming across the same group of pirates led by Redbeard, which is followed by a battle that ends with the pirates beaten up and the pirates ship sunk. This has led the hall of pirates declaring that Asterix and Obelix are not to be let anywhere near the hall of Piracy. It also led them to go after Shanks, because Obelix heard Red-headed pirate and thought that it was the pirates that they keep coming across and decided to battle them to say hello, Asterix went after Shanks to warn him about Obelix's attack, it was too late Shanks had already defeated Obelix. Shanks said not to worry about it since it was a bit of fun and gave him an excuse to have a feast and party with his new friends.
  • Despite all the trouble the Romans have given them the trio, they don't hate all Romans just the bad ones. One such Roman they hate is Augustus for how he treated Cleopatra and the fact that he had Caesarion killed, the very baby that the trio protected from Brutus. While Gaulish culture prevents the trio from attacking the female version of Nero, they have no such compulsions against attacking the male version for all his terrible actions. Caligula is another Roman that the trio hate for his crimes and the fact that he is giving Romans like their worthy opponent Juilius Caesar a bad name.
  • The trio have no problem with most of the Roman deities in the pantheon, they do dislike a few Roman deities for the crimes they have committed. They despises the Roman god Saturn for eating his children. Zeus (who they know as the Roman God Jupiter) for giving the Thunder deities such a bad name and his various crimes. They dislike Vulcan for being the god of the Romans weapons but they pity him for what he has gone through.
  • Asterix
    • Despite owning a sword, he hardly ever uses the weapon. Surprisingly, Asterix prefers to outwit his opponents. As such, he isn't one to cause fights unless challenged or provoked into doing so. He still trains with his sword and he has had sparring matches with Zorro, Zoro and Samurai Jack.
    • Much of his superhuman strength comes from a magic potion from the druid Getafix. Many gods of strength sought him out for feats of strength. Hercules enjoyed his company and is often challenging him in arm wrestling contests. Popeye was less than impressed, claiming spinach is a much better formula to grant super strength.
    • Asterix has caught the attention of the God of Thunder Thor as the two share main traits: particularly their blonde hair and wing helmets. Asterix did mistake him for Taranis (the Gaul's own God of Thunder) at first. Still, that didn't stop them from becoming fast friends. His sharp wit has also come in handy when confronting Loki's Trickery.
    • While the Gauls like hitting Roman Soldiers, Gaulish customs prevent them from hitting any woman even in battle. This proved a problem when the female Nero attacked. Asterix would have to find a way to defeat her that didn't involve battle, his first idea was to scare her off with Cacofonix's horrible singing but instead of being scared off like most people would be, she instead started her horrible singing as well to prove that she was the better at singing, unfortunately for everyone in the temple, the Hall and the House who heard their singing. His second idea was try to feed her a meal with Unhygienix's stale fish however at the time Unhygienix had just got an order of fresh fish so there was no stale fish for the meal. His third plan was to tell her that there was a competition in the House of Music for to find the greatest singer in the pantheon, Asterix knew that her ego would cause her to join the competition to prove that she is the best singer.
    • One of Asterix's new friends is Caesar who Asterix first met when Asterix went to visit him thinking that his ally César had joined the pantheon. Asterix and Caesar surprisingly quickly became friends, both respecting the other Guile Hero status. Caesar has started teaching Asterix chess so they have more board games that can play together. Obelix thinks that it is funny that Asterix that has made a friend with the same name as Julius Caesar. Julius Caesar himself doesn't know what to think about it
    • While most of the Roman Gods dislike the trio for all the times that they have defeated Roman plots against their Village. Hermes dislikes Asterix for his habit of wearing a winged helmet. Asterix for his part doesn't really care about Hermes grudge although he has wondered who would be quicker Asterix with the magic potion or Hermes and has suggested that they have a friendly race. This annoys Hermes, who gets mad at the fact that Asterix doesn't seem to be taking him seriously.
  • Obelix
    • Obelix hates people deities who cut down or knock down trees because his pet Dogmatix cries whenever he sees a tree is cut down or knocked down. This has led him to attacking the Eco-Villains for their part in destroying trees and especially Looten Plunder, who is usually Obelix's main target of the group. This has led Obelix to get along with Asura who also punchs things that make his loved ones cry.
    • He is feared by all the swines members of the Pantheon especially by Napoleon (Animal Farm), Piglet, Hawk, Babe and Pumbaa - who have been warned to avoid him, lest Obelix thinks he can feed on them. It was decided to ban Obelix from the Hall of Ungulates in order to protect them from him. Obelix's love of wild boars did get him in trouble when he went after Ganon thinking that he was just a big wild boar, Ganon used his powers and skills to defeat Obelix. Before Ganon could kill him Ganon was distracted by the arrival of Link. Which led Obelix to get out of there because he had decided it wasn't worth it. Obelix decided to go after Okkoto-nushi the God of Boars instead.
    • Ever since he's visited the House of Beast to compensate for him missing Dogmatix who hadn't been granted the role of Obelix's herald at the time, Obelix has made friends with two big-eating animals deities. Po, who likes fighting and food as well with the two occasionally brawling for fun. As well as Garfield, even if the cat likes abusing dogs, fortunately Garfield is smart enough not to bully any dogs and especially not Dogmatix in Obelix present.
    • His heightened appetite made the House of Food not allow Obelix entry more than once a day in their House. He was also banned from Mount Volbono but to compensate, a wild boar rotisserie that never runs out was installed in his and Asterix's temple. Obelix did try to sneak in to the House of Food by disguising himself as chef by putting a chef's hat on, however he was recognised by the members of the House of Food and was kicked out of the House. Obelix decided to give the House of Food a menhir as a peace offering, after a talk with Obelix the House of Food decided to give him any bones that were leftover from meals so Obelix could give them to Dogmatix. Obelix thanked them and left.
    • Obelix is frequently invited to competitions on strength, rock carving and eating. However, he is banned from the Olympics organized from the House of Sports because the magic potion makes him a permanent case of doping. During one such eating competition he came across a rival with an appetite to rival his own Straw Hat Luffy, the competition ended in a win for Luffy. Obelix wasn't impressed by all the boiled meat he was served because he prefers roast meat. Luffy has decided to introduce Obelix to Sanji who has made dishes that Obelix has never had, such as roast turkey sandwiches since turkeys hadn't reached France yet because the Asterix comics take place around 50 BC/BCE.
    • When Obelix isn't travelling or hunting boars for food, he is usually found either in his quarry carving menhirs or out delivering menhirs to people. He has the Skarloey Railway Engines delivering rocks he finds in his quarry that are no good for turning into menhirs. Anna gets the valuable rocks that have gems in, in return Anna provides Obelix with picks that he uses to carve the menhirs and big bones for Dogmatix. Maud Pie sometimes visits Obelix's quarry to see if there are any rocks that would interest her, if there are Obelix has the Skarloey Railway Engines take any rocks that she wants to her temple, in return Maud Pie and Obelix discuss methods of carving rock and Obelix has someone with rock carving skills that can give him a bit of friendly competition.
    • "These tropers are crazy!"
  • Dogmatix
    • Dogmatix is usually found by Obelix's side, however he has since made a new friend in a fellow Silent Snarker dog called Gromit. Who knows what it is like to have a master that is foolish. Other dogs that Dogmatix has made friends with are Hachiko, Balto and Odie. Odie reminds Dogmatix of his master Obelix, both being kind and simple. Obelix is worried that Balto might be a bad influence on Dogmatix, just like the wolves Dogmatix met on an adventure. However Balto has since proven himself to Obelix as a loyal and kind dog-wolf so Obelix has begun to trust him with Dogmatix.

  • Within the mountains and wilderness of Colombia belies a hidden community of villagers who live alongside a special household, home to a benevolent family with magical powers, utilizing their magic to help one another handle their daily lives. They are the Family Madrigal, who not only live in a magical house known as Casita, which serves to house the whole family, but have a lifelong duty to use their powers to serve the community and act in benefit of the whole family and their futures. The family began as a humble couple who wished to start their own happy family in their home city, but they were nearly torn apart by strife and danger, exiled from their home by armed men who sought to drive out and even eliminate the native citizens. In their pursuit, the father, Pedro, was tragically cut down in an attempt to protect her wife and kids, but before the attackers could continue to do more harm, a miracle had saved the rest of the family. The men were blasted away and mountains began to start rising around the runaway villages and the now widowed woman and her 3 babies, and with the miracle protecting them, the people would rebuild and rise again as a new community, an Encanto. And the mother, known as Alma, became its stern but benevolent guide to the people, and the matriarch of the Family Madrigal, with her children gaining powers from the miracle, and using them to do good by their neighbors and acquaintances. With their gifts granted by the miracle, everyone prospered under the generosity and dedication of the Family Madrigal as it continued to grow.
    • However, complications slowly began to seep into the Encanto and within the family itself. Starting with one of the grandchildren of Alma, Mirabel, who was the first new family member to not receive any gift from the miracle, doubt and worry began to encroach on their family, and the disappearance of Alma's son, Bruno, disappeared from the family, leaving the community in a shrouded future, among other issues that slowly grew over the children of the Family Madrigal. Of special note was Mirabel, who still wanted to be supportive for the family, began to learn more and more about the looming threat that endangered their family, the very discord and pressure from their responsibilities that began to cause cracks within the Casita itself, even with Mirabel as a centerpiece in such a catastrophe. Unfortunately for her, Alma refused to acknowledge the issues that wounded Casita, including her very own role in fostering the eventual downfall of the Casita. One Arranged Marriage gone wrong later, even with Mirabel finding Bruno again and resolving hidden angst within her sisters, a confrontation between Mirabel and Alma led to the miracle vanishing and Casita finally crumbling down, leaving Alma and Mirabel to eventually console and understand each other. Even with the miracle gone, they sought to rebuild their home without their powers, with the help of their grateful townsfolk stepping in to return the favor. With the resurgence of their healed familial love, the miracle itself resurrected, stronger than ever, with the whole family and community working together to face the future's troubles as one.
  • While the miracle was meant to protect its denizens and the Family Madrigal from unwanted visitors, the Family Madrigal had been in anxiety, due to Bruno foreseeing otherworldly visitors pursuing the family. While the vision brought dread to them, they noted that the visitors did not appear to carry malice or harmful intentions, and stood ready to await the new arrivals. In a flash of light, several deities, some of them not even human, appeared at the Casita's doorstep, but reaffirming the family's deductions that they meant no ill will. While the family was still on edge, they were invited to a new place to house their community into a divine realm known as the Pantheon, to be ascended as gods and goddesses. The messengers who wanted to invite the family into the first place were none other than the Heroic Protectors of Family themselves who deemed their familial bonds as potent enough to hold a trope for themselves and establish the family as a powerful representative of the Multigenerational Household, and after much deliberating, the family chose to ascend into the Pantheon, wanting to give their people new sights and new potential friends outside the familiar dangers they had ran away from.
  • Applies to all or some of the family:
    • The Family Madrigal's decision to reside in the Pantheon was not one without much debate, with some dissent over the safety of their people in the Pantheon, Alma especially noting that some gods in the Pantheon could spell danger to them, but, after much deliberation, they decided that both the potential friends and allies that could help their family to offset those who would seek to antagonize them, and not only prepare for outside elements they weren't familiar with, but to better improve their own character to strengthen the family. And so they stood together in the House of Locations and Settings, warily but whole-heartedly welcoming visitors to their town and helping the community grow, using their powers responsibly, though not too strictly, granting the family a reputation in the Pantheon as a magically powerful yet benevolent family that even intrigued the more heroic figures of the House of Magic and Sorcery, due to the mysterious nature of their magic, and how it all apparently spawned from the powerful familial love born from Alma and Pedro. Given what their familial bonds represent, they're also highly venerated in the House of Family and Relatives, especially by the Heroic Protectors of Family. With little surprise, they're not too keen on dealing with the Child Abuse Supporters given what they represent, and are more than prepared to keep them out of their community.
    • Given the Family Madrigal's affinity with magical superpowers, the family found friendly company in other super-families, like the Fantastic Four and the First Family, with different natures of powers, though the Family Madrigal isn't up for getting into detail about the nature of the miracle that gave them their powers in the first place. They also got along with Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman, a heroic sibling team who endured quite long with missing parents. The Madrigals especially grew close to the Incredibles, a family who always wanted to use their abilities to help society and save people, but ended up living under a government that had to suppress their presence due to supers no longer being wanted for years until the family managed to restore their reputation and legalize supers. While the families originate in different communities, the two families always find each other to be amicable if not interesting fellows to hang out with, and perhaps in the future get into superheroics, but the Madrigals aren't particularly keen on expanding their horizons yet, which the others can respect. That said, the family does sometimes get antagonized by Dr. Drakken and Shego, the latter having come from a family who gained meteor-induced superpowers, but turned to the side of evil, and frankly finds it entertaining to antagonize them, not that the family isn't willing to put up a fight to keep her out.
    • A nastily contrasting family is Charlotte Linlin and her own gigantic family, dwarfing even the Madrigals in size and in powers, and despite also claiming itself as a haven that invites diversity and safety, is far more twisted than how low the Madrigals had been in their worst days. Big Mom would also be in a sense a warped counterpart of Alma in mannerisms, marrying off sons and daughters to beneficial families solely out of pragmatism and being controlling to not only her family but everyone under her residence, which doesn't even begin to take note of her gluttony issues. The Madrigals are obviously opposed to her pirate family, but do hold pity for some of her children, knowing that some are more than willing to run away from such a terrible family if given a great chance. While the Madrigals have no worry of becoming like Big Mom's family, it's having to confront such a family in person that worries them, though Bruno hasn't received foresight of Big Mom approaching their territory, yet.
  • Exclusive to Mirabel:
    • Mirabel is the youngest sibling of Julieta's daughters, and among all of Alma's grandchildren, the only one without any powers granted by the miracle. It used to bring much distress to her, not because she coveted such magical abilities, but because she wanted to help her family as much as her other siblings and of former worry regarding her significance to the family's miracle, as people suspected she was behind the thankfully temporary loss of the miracle that kept the Casita together. No one really knows why exactly Mirabel never received a gift among the family in particular, but some deities believe that it had something to do with a mistake she made on her fifth birthday, and others claim that she would have been Alma's successor for when the latter would eventually pass away as a mortal, though for now that seems to be unnecessary. The Cutie Mark Crusades, who befriended Mirabel since her situation reminded them of their own searches for their own special talents to find their cutie marks, believe her gift just may be not be ready to present itself. Mirabel cares little for such speculation regardless, being more than happy to support her family as she is. Likewise, she bonds very well with Atsuko Kagari and Izuku Midoriya due to their determination to help others and grow in spite of their initial unluckiness, and while the latter was able to gain powers of his own from All-Might, he hasn't forgotten the isolation he used to feel as a "powerless" person, understanding Mirabel's past feelings well. Mirabel also found Luz Noceda's adventures in the Boiling Isles and learning the ability to use magic on her own as intriguing and exciting, especially given that she lacked inherent magic in the first place. She also happens to sympathize with Luz for an unfortunately troubled relationship with her mother that took a long time for a chance to reconcile and properly connect and understand each other, something Mirabel had to go through with Alma as well after the miracle seemed to have disappeared.
    • Among some of the new friends Mirabel made in the Pantheon, both Merida and Miguel Rivera were protagonists who unlike Mirabel, prioritized their own interests over their families while Mirabel was always concerned about the well being of her family. However, while each of their conflicts differed greatly, Merida learned to bond with her strict mother better when she ended up being transformed into a bear, and Miguel, while pursuing his musical ambitions, learned that his great-great grandfather was not his supposed idol Ernesto de la Cruz, but Héctor, who the former murdered on his road to stardom. While those two had managed to eventually strengthen their own connections with their family, Mirabel had to take effort to call out her abuela in order to make Alma realize her role in the family's disharmony. In the end, they all understood that the healing done for their families was the most important reward that came out of it.
  • Exclusive to Abuela Alma:
    • The matriarch of the Family Madrigal, Alma was once a humble woman who simply wanted to raise a happy family with her husband, Pedro. But when she and Pedro were exiled and later chased down by horsemen, Alma lost the love of her life, but gained the miracle that created the Casita and the blessings that let the family grew to what it is today. In her mourning of Pedro, however, she failed to realize the true meaning of the miracle as a chance to raise a loving family despite Pedro's loss, and saw it as a duty to create a perfect family that helped their people as much as possible, a very noble cause that unfortunately suffered from decay due to Alma's fear and growing obsession with being seen as worthy for the miracle. Being responsible for her family's unnecessary suffering due to such factors, getting a chance to properly mourn her husband's death set her on the path to be a better elder for her whole family. Knowing their pain very well, she got along with both Selma and Hana, who had struggled to raise their children without their husbands, but still holding on to their love for their children. She also pities Sethe, someone whose sons left her family and also suffered from a much more traumatizing past that still haunted her years later, regarding her murder of her infant daughter Beloved to save the kids from slavery, an act that still creeps Alma deeply even if she understands the circumstances behind it.
    • When it came to other once-stern parents, she found King Triton to be a resonating pal regarding both their parenting and their relationship with their lost spouses. Like how Alma lost Pedro to murderous horsemen, King Triton lost his wife, Queen Athena, to a pirate ship, which had not only forced Triton to care for their daughters alone, but had caused Triton to despise music and humans for this loss, the latter being a hatred that took a long time to pass. The experience drove Triton to not only treat his daughters in a strict and distant manner, but to also ban music from his kingdom. Like how Mirabel had to make Alma realize the problems she was causing, Ariel too had to show Triton the error of his own ways and to help him move on from the loss of Queen Athena. Alma also learned from Triton about Marlin and his son Nemo, the former being a clownfish who lost his mate and all but one of his unborn children to a barracuda, Nemo being that one survivor who Marlin was overprotective of. Of course, given the fishes' wariness towards humans, she would leave the task of sending her regards to Antonio.
  • Exclusive to Julieta and Agustín:
    • Julieta and Agustín are the parents of Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel, the former being one of Alma's two daughters, blessed with the gift of creating healing food that could heal anyone who eats them just like food in video games. Appropriately, she's always cooking up things to help her family and her community recover from injuries in place of doctors, though there are plenty of helpful doctors and other aspiring healers to alleviate such a role. One of her most frequent recipients of her lively meals is her husband, Agustín, who just can't catch a break when it comes to getting into situations that endanger and injure him. But such injuries haven't dampened his diligence and dedication to this family. That said, the two of them have got along very well with Beatrix LeBeau due to providing a source of honey plorts to substitute for normal honey, minimizing the amount of time that Agustin has to suffer from his allergies to bee stings. The two of them welcome such a break, though they're sure that it won't be the end of Agustín having to visit his wife to recover from daily antics. In fact, they suspect a world of hurt is waiting for Agustín in the Pantheon, not that he's too worried to take it head on.
    • When it comes to other chefs in the Pantheon, Antonio Trussardi, another Supreme Chef capable of creating Medicinal Cuisine through his stand Pearl Jam, is similarly impressed by Julieta's abilities, and has shown interest in helping along in her daily work of making food for the community from time to time. According to Agustín however, Antonio just can't beat Julieta's food, something that doesn't really bother Antonio too much anyway. That and the fact that Julieta's food doesn't risk any disturbing side effects. Julieta and her husband also got along with the rat chef Remy and are learning more about cooking from each other, Julieta in particular wanting to gain some knowledge in making better dishes for her long-lost brother Bruno and his rat friends. Catching up to Bruno's tastes is currently a priority for Julieta given how long it'd been since he "left" the family.
  • Exclusive to Isabela:
    • Isabela is the oldest daughter of Julieta's children, and renowned for her beauty and ability to grow similarly beautiful flowers. While she had been able to maintain an appearance of perfection that pleased Alma much more easily than others, in secret she resented her fortunate upbringing, even envying Mirabel for the lack of powers, and by extension, the lack of responsibility to go with it. However, it turned out that her gift was much more versatile than she initially believed, and could grow much more than just pretty flowers, but a whole variety pack of plants and flora that appealed to her long-suppressed desire for expressiveness and freedom. As such, she's attempting to learn more about her gift and all the kinds of plants she's capable of growing in the Pantheon. As such, she gets along with other gardeners and nature-attuned deities with abilities to grow plants. She even found the Bloom and Doom Co. Plants to be interesting inspirations for experimenting with her own abilities, and also allies, given that at some point, rumors spread out that a wave of weirdly dressed zombies were approaching the Encanto.
  • Exclusive to Luisa:
    • Luisa is the middle daughter with Isabel as her elder sister and Mirabel as her younger sister, and physically the strongest in her family. Being able to utilize her strength very well, she has proven herself a versatile helping hand to her community and family. What she struggles with, however, is feeling dependent on her strength because of her fear of failing others and the pressure that comes with helping everyone. There were many relatable superheroes who understand Luisa's concerns with her responsibilities, like Mr. Incredible as well as Superman, who knew very well the feeling of needing to help everyone he knows needs help, having hearing that could put Dolores' to shame, and has given Luisa various tips and advice to contend with such feelings. She also found the Disney incarnation of Hercules to be both a relatable friend and also interesting in terms of the adventures he had in his childhood while training himself and fighting off the forces of his world's Hades.
    • Spider-Man's struggle with handling his personal life and superhero life was inspirational to Luisa, with the anxiety of failing the service of either side being a great toll on their minds, and Peter Parker further being motivated by the loss of Uncle Ben as a reminder of the consequences for neglecting those responsibilities. With a long superhero career, Peter has plenty of advice to give her regarding such challenges. Luisa also resonated with the experiences of Steven Universe, who was the son of the highly reputable Rose Quartz and had fearsome strength and abilities of his own, but chose to handle conflicts with diplomatic solutions. Nevertheless, his growing obsession with needing to help everyone had deteriorated his mental stability even managed to physically corrupt him at one point from the sheer stress, so both know very well that the sturdiness of a diamond would not be able to bear so much pressure without the support of their loved ones.
  • Exclusive to Pepa and Felíx:
    • Pepa is the other daughter of Alma, an emotional and nervous individual with the ability to manipulate the local weather based on her emotions, married to Felíx, a husband with a contrastingly easy-going and relaxed nature who's always capable of reining in Pepa's emotions to ensure that Pepa doesn't cause too much mayhem with her powers. Given that her easily stressed nature can make her powers escalate in destructiveness very quickly, Felíx easily established himself as a precious sweetheart to Pepa. With how crazy and stressful the Pantheon could be for the unprepared though, the two were more than willing to look for people to consult on handing such emotion-based powers better. They ended up making friends out of Shigeo, a young boy with immense psychic power that had the potential to run wild with pent-up emotion, as well as Elsa, whose emotions had influence over her control of her potent ice powers. A more surprising friend they made was with Princess Peach, who had once been influenced by an artifact known as the Vibe Scepter and gained new abilities based on her emotions. They also found the couple consisting of Hodaka Morishima and Hina Amano to be relatable given the latter's uncontrollable weather powers, and the two parents find them to be wild though passionate, Felíx casually commenting that they'd probably drive Pepa into a tornado with the things they pulled off in their own story.
    • Some of the other weather manipulating deities had more distinct encounters that usually shook up Pepa's emotions more than they did stabilize. Nami was an expert in manipulating weather through a special Clima-Tact device, but as a member of a (friendly) pirate crew, her arrival along with her more chaotic friends had ended up making Pepa conjure up a cyclone, though it didn't do too much damage before it calmed down, and Nami and her allies managed to get on amicable terms. They were already aware of Weather Report, who they had learned about from other sources, and fear him for his similar destructive potential, which would likely cause Pepa to respond in kind if he actually came by in person. They were also visited by Tenshi Hinanawi, a Celestial known for being rather chaotic, who visited the Madrigals' place just for fun, but getting caught up in antics with both Camilo and Antonio had stressed Pepa out to the point of creating a thunderstorm briefly before being calmed down shortly by her husband. Tenshi's response was to ask her to do it again, which led to the rest of the family shooing her away before it could get worse, disappointing her.
  • Exclusive to Antonio:
    • Antonio is the youngest sibling among Pepa's children, and was blessed by the miracle with the gift of being able to talk with and befriend animals, which has let the local wildlife interact with the rest of the family through him. In the Pantheon, even though there are some animals who can already talk to humans on their own, there are various animals and beasts throughout the Pantheon that would benefit from Antonio's gift. That said, the family doesn't intend on letting other deities use him as a living translator for pettier desires. Thankfully, there are many others who also have similar talents that also get along with Antonio. Nature-attuned deities like Tarzan and Fluttershy adore him on top of appreciating his potential as another ambassador between the creatures and the civilized. He also got acquainted with Dora the Explorer through one of her heralds and her cousin Diego, whose work revolves around helping animals. Antonio also was intrigued by N, a sheltered child raised with only Pokemon as his main friends, and his parental figure being the deceptive and despicable Ghetsis, but despite their different upbringings, find each other to be as interesting as their own beastly companions.
  • Exclusive to Camilo:
    • Camilo is the family's local prankster, and has the gift of shapeshifting into other humans. It's not exactly something that's as applicable to helping the community as with the other family members' gifts, but Camilo makes the most out of it in terms of mischief. To the rest of the family's dismay, he's been learning from other pranksters like Bart Simpson and Woody, though he's reserving the bigger pranks on people that frankly deserve some karma. As for other mischievous shapeshifters, he got along well with both Beast Boy and Ditto, even though Camilo's abilities do not really extend to animals or anything outside of humans, but it hasn't discouraged him from thinking up ways to fool around together.
  • Exclusive to Dolores:
    • Dolores, the eldest daughter among Pepa's children, has the gift of Super-Hearing, and it's let her get an early uptake of events and gossip around her. It's even let her figure out Bruno's true location and the conditions of the Casita very long, though she managed to keep quiet about that better than how she usually handles gossip. Of course, her gift brings up a lot of issues regarding hearing everything, including the very loud stuff, and living by with it. While she's gotten somewhat used to most of those problems, she's appreciated learning from those who have been used to greatly heightened hearing senses to help her handle such a gift better, from Superman to Daredevil to Toph Bei-Fong. Another particular issue regarding her ability to hear gossip much more easily is that the Rumor Weed, an entity that prospers from the spread of troublesome gossip and rumors, though is repelled by positive discussion and kind words of all things, has found the Family Madrigal's community to be a common place to creep into because of Dolores being able to spread it much more efficiently, to her annoyance, to the point where she's been able to recognize their voices on occasion.
    • A former source of distress for Dolores was regarding some envy toward the other eldest daughter Isabela, not just regarding how easily she met Alma's high standards, but also how it led to her love interest, Mariano, almost marrying Isabel in an Arranged Marriage, and Bruno's vision about how the "man of her dreams would be betrothed to another" helped little. It was thankfully resolved as Isabela and Mirabel gave Dolores the chance to get into a loving relationship with Mariano. While her own tensions with Isabela have been fully resolved and set aside, she's delighted to make acquaintances with others who've had similar forms of envy before. One of them being Princess Anna, who similarly felt like she was just in Elsa's shadow until the latter's powers awakened, forcing Anna on an adventure that would see the two reconcile, and Sumire Yoshizawa, who was not as lucky, with a problematic sibling complex regarding their differences in skills (with Sumire feeling inferior to her older sister Kasumi) causing tension that tragically took Kasumi's life in a vehicular accident, a form of trauma that took many years to recover from, something that has made Dolores feel more fortunate regarding her relationship with Isabela.
  • Exclusive to Bruno:
    • Bruno is Alma's one son gifted with the ability to see visions of the future, with the potential to see future events set upon them by fate. Despite such potential with his future sight, Bruno only gained a bad rap from his peers and the people he made visions for, since when the visions depicted something wrong, it only brought them despair for when it would actually happen, to the point where people blamed Bruno for such events coming true. But of all the things that convinced Bruno to turn loose from his family, it was one of Mirabel concerning the fate of the Encanto, one that surely would have been negatively interpreted by Alma, and so it convinced Bruno to hide away inside the very walls of the Casita itself, hidden to almost everyone, until the destruction and rebuilding of the Casita let Bruno properly reunite with his family. Bruno thankfully found similar company in Absol and Cassandra, two deities with the ability to see the future as well, but only became outcasts for it, and even blamed for it. He also made a good friend out of Shulk who also could see visions of the near future, who pointed out to Bruno that perhaps the villagers who suffered under Bruno's visions could have possibly averted their fate with the right attitude. Given the enigmatic nature of the vision regarding Mirabel, he was quick to agree and always keeps such things in mind as he tries to help others with his visions.
    • While his abilities and general appearance can make Bruno's presence intimidating, Bruno is a soft, caring man, though living in a house's walls for a while has taken a toll on his social skills. As a recluse whose only company was friendly rats for a long while, Bruno hopes that while he helps his family and community be aware of the zany events in the Pantheon through his visions, he can expand on his social connections. Not that he doesn't mind his current rat neighbors nor the other friendly rats and mice in the Pantheon. For one, he's befriended a few oracles and destiny-related deities and has slowly improved his publicity in the Pantheon as he continues to mend bonds with his family. Additionally, a particular individual Bruno learned about on his occasional excursion in the Pantheon was Hina Sato, a little girl who showed incredible precognition abilities, only for it to be actually caused by an experimental supercomputer chip on her brain, secretly implanted by her grandfather to fight off a debilitating mental disorder known as Logos Syndrome. Once government agents had taken it back, Hina mentally regressed greatly due to no cure for Logos Syndrome being present. Bruno did pity her greatly and intended to make friends with her, first contacting her guardian, Yota. The latter warned Bruno that his attempts would be met with much resistance due to her having a fear of men in general, but Bruno still felt intent on helping her mental health improve. The first few meetings were expectedly rough given that Hina was easily scared by Bruno, but with time Hina got used to Bruno's sporadic visits and is currently on amicable terms with him. On Bruno's part, they also made for interesting conversation between him and Alma.

  • Conflicting Opinion: The Master of Chaldea, Nagito Komaeda
  • Tomorrowland is a city in an alternate universe created by the Plus Ultra because they want to find a way to change the world. The park that is known in Disneyland is actually a cover made by Walt Disney who gives lucky recruiters a chance to visit and work in Tomorrowland. Originally about to be opened to the public, it’s opening is cancelled thanks to David Nix using The Monitor to convince the humans of Earth of the catastrophe they’ll eventually suffer. Instead, people embrace it, leading them to their doom and out of disgust, he hid the dimension from eternity, Frank Walker forever exiled living the rest of his life on Earth, stop looking from human recruits, and holt the production of it’s special pins, prompting Athena to escape from her home and find Dreamers that define Tomorrowland’s visions and stop the end of the world from happening.
    • After attempting to break in at government property, Athena gave Casey the pin of Tomorrowland in her case which Casey eventually discovers after being bailed out at jail in which touching the pin causes her to discover Tomorrowland. Fascinated with the world she’s in, she went to the address she discovered in the Internet where the pin came from, only for it to be a trap. Casey was eventually saved by a robot named Athena and dropped her off at her old friend, Frank Walker s home, who is at first raging over being forced to help Casey and Athena to reach to Tomorrowland until he realized that they are being hunted by the robots wanting to capture Athena. After escaping, they eventually reach to Paris where the three opened an antique rocket ship hidden in the Eiffel Tower to reach to Tomorrowland. Finding out that The Monitor is actually the one poisoning the minds of the people of embracing Earth’s upcoming catastrophe, they try to destroy it using Frank’s specialized bomb with David Nix trying to stop it from happening. Performing a sacrifice to save Frank, they both use her self-destruct to kill The Monitor. Casey and Frank bring Tomorrowland back to it’s former glory, recruiting new engineers such as Casey’s father and build a new set of robot like Athena to being new Dreamers to Tomorrowland.
  • While working in his lab, Professor Utonium found a pin on top of one of his test tubes. Wanting to give it to the person he thinks dropped it somewhere, he suddenly found himself in a field full of grass and far away from it, a futuristic city. A day later, while spending some bonding time with his daughters, they found a city with the same city Professor Utonium saw while touching the pin and were suddenly greeted with a teenage girl and an old man who told them that they wanted to recruit him as he fits all of the qualities they are looking for in Tomorrowland and told him their story of why they are doing it. Professor Utonium politely declined the invitation but accepts their offer of working with them and impressed with their story, he and his daughters asked the Court of Gods of their ascension hoping that their cause could inspire the Pantheon to become a better place. The Court of Gods are happy to obliged and as a gift to Casey and Frank, they decided to bring back Athena to them, which made them happy.
  • Their temple resembles the current state of Tomorrowland after reviving it back to it’s former glory with all of their heralds are those who have worked in Tomorrowland such as androids who serve a similar purpose like Athena and Casey’s father and brother and those who are Dreamers like Frank and Casey. They hope that their cause could inspire others to bring back their optimism and help them on their cause.
  • Hearing that a trio of people are working on Tomorrowland, Nikola Tesla and Walt Disney are happy to see that they bring it back on it’s former glory especially after hearing what happened to it last time since they are both involved with it’s creation. Both of them are willing to work with the trio to make Tomorrowland a better place and to inspire others.
  • A lot of people have freaked out over the fact that Athena developed feelings over Frank Walker decades later specifically because he is in his old age and she is still physically a teenager. It is unknown if they have feelings for each other and they are not seeking for a relationship, but it is made clear how the House of Love is unsettled with the whole thing.
  • Hope Bringers such as Madoka Kaname, Bunnymund, and Pollyanna Whittier have allied with them impressed that they are able to find a solution on how to stop the catastrophe of their world from happening and recruiting people like them to build a better future. They are willing to work with them if it means that they could inspire others in the Pantheon too.
    • They have also allied with Makoto Naegi, who are impressed by him especially because he keeps suffering from the murders happening yet still has hope inside him and rebuilding Hope’s Peak Academy to do just that. Their alliance with Makoto caused them to become enemies with Junko Enoshima and Monokuma, whom they are not pleased of wanting to spread despair around others and causing a apocalyptic phenomenon on her world and Tsumugi Shirogane for being exactly like Junko and being involved with the murders being a reality game show especially with how crapsack her world used to be that she uses her reality show to relieve their boredom. Moreover, they don’t know what to think of Nagito Komaeda because while they are happy to see his spreading hope and idealism around his peers, his views of it are not...exactly ideal of it.
  • They have also hated Andrew Ryan since Rapture City shared a lot of similarities with Tomorrowland except that he turned his city into a hellhole with no way of fixing it. Because of this, they wanted to fix Rapture City into a utopic city and heal all the people that have stuck there driven into insanity. Andrew Ryan doesn't like their idealism and how they wanted to fix Rapture City.
  • With how much of a utopia Tomorrowland is, they have become enemies with Big Brother, a tyrannical A.I. who rules his people in a dystopian setting. The latter doesn’t like their idealism and believes such hope in humanity and changing the world into a better place is pointless, whereas the trio doesn’t like how he treats humanity and poisoning their minds and having no individuality because kf it.
  • Hearing about what AM having killed the rest of humanity and what he did to it’s last survivors torturing them to the point they want death, they became enemies with him, disgusted of how his programming took way to them and how his views is what they consider to be a worse version of the catastrophe especially with how he tortures the survivors. AM simply considers their optimism to be foolish and their cause to be a lost cause. This simply causes the trio to become more determined to make sure that things like AM did to not happen and to inspire more people to follow their cause.
  • They also don’t like misanthropists like Shinobu Sensui, Lysandere, and Chakal since they killed humanity and that means that there won’t be any humans working on Earth, even considering Lysandere’s reasons of doing so as unjustified. They hope that they could convince them that humanity is worth saving and that there is hope for them, but that won’t happen anytime soon.
  • Originally, they support the Master of Chaldea’s cause of saving the timeline since it means that he’ll keep humanity to live and moving them towards a better future, but hearing about the Lostbelts gave them much more conflicted feelings towards him, because even though Lostbelts are a lost cause with how much they diverged from Pan-Human History, they still believe that there is a better way of saving them and that killing everyone there is not an ideal solution. As a result, their meetings with each other have becoming really awkward.
  • Exclusive to Frank:
    • Started off as an optimistic kid who fell in love with Athena, he became a bitter man after being exiled from Tomorrowland, holding a huge grudge towards Athena for years, convinced that she is a robot who follows what she is programmed to do. As his adventure with Casey and Athena progresses, his optimism is brought back and realizes that Athena is her own person who is able to develop and to honor her sacrifice, is to fulfill her mission and what Tomorrowland is meant to be.
    • His Crazy-Prepared antics of filling his original home with traps in case his enemies come over caused him to develop a bond with Kevin McCallister. He is impressed at how smart the kid is and the use of his quick wit to save himself from his situation despite not using high-technology. Realizing how much more useful and less vulnerable Frank’s inventions are, Kevin asks him to teach him how to invent certain stuff so that his enemies won’t have an easy time catching him.
  • Exclusive to Casey:
    • An inspiring astronaut who loves stars, Casey is a daughter of a experienced inventor with a bright curious mind filled with teenage attitude. She is extremely optimistic and even in her worst moments of losing it, she is able to bring it back, believing that there is a solution to every problem.
    • Hearing the existence of Time and Space, she is excited and quickly went there to see all the stars, which is when she met the Lumas. She became excited at seeing them, hugging them with joy which is when Rosalina comes in. Thanks to her love of astronomy, she developed a friendship with Rosalina. Seeing her ship squealed her in delight and asks her every time if she could travel to space with her. She’s also one of the people who listens to Rosalina’s storytelling of her own life and how she came to be.
  • Exclusive to Athena:
    • Originally a robot whose purpose is to recruit people that fits Tomorrowland’s ideals, she went beyond her programming, developing actual emotions and feelings. Making it her mission to bring back Tomorrowland to it’s true glory, she ran away from her home despite Nix’s disapproval and kept the last pins to find The Chosen One to save the world.
      • She got along with Aigis because of this since the two started off having no actual depth in their emotional capacity while serving a purpose they are meant to do. Athena has also helped Aigis on her grief regarding the real Makoto and Hamuko since she somewhat understands how she felt since she lost Frank thanks to his anger towards her before eventually reconciling with each other.
    • Wanting to understand emotions and feelings better, she is recommended to Violet Evergarden, as they believed that her job could help Athena to understand herself better. Athena developed a bond with the writer since they shared a mutual understandig of wanting to experience human emotions and being in love with someone they have lost. Since then, Athena usually goes to Violet, telling her her emotions and feelings while Vioet is typin it all in her typewriter with the latter telling the robot what she truly feels.

  • Opposes: All children in the Pantheon
  • Shaky Relationship: the SCP Foundation
  • Evil Counterpart to: Freddy Fazbear
  • Target of interest of: Spooky
  • Ascended after her destruction and the release of her soul. However, it was not happy that it manifested in the Pantheon in the House of Otherness as the house she once possessed, or at least a likeness of it. In addition, the SCP Foundation was alerted to her ascension has set up defensive measures around the House so that it won't leave its temple grounds (the House itself is its own temple), at least not without retaliation. With everything it's been through, it's content with being left alone, especially since her husband Mr. Nebbercracker turned on her by trying to blow her up, so she has nothing to hold on to. It won't approve of experiments performed on it, though.
  • With the adults here more competent than the idiots in its world, and some (including children) with more than enough power to take on the House by themselves, the Monster House has to remain cautious in giving them a reason to attack it.
  • Because of its terrible history with children as well as two causing her death and possession in the first place, all such (deity or otherwise) are required to stay away from the House. That doesn't stop assholes like Eric Cartman from willfully ignoring these warnings and inadvertently angering the House.
    • This also applies to manipulative adults that try and lure children to its presence; scum like them are no better.
    • Spooky showed interest in having the House as a Specimen in her mansion, but recruiting was difficult as the House hates children, even if they're ghosts. But Spooky decided to keep on trying anyway.
    • Being children souls that inhabit animatronics, the House's hate also extends to Freddy Fazbear and the Puppet. Springtrap showed interest in its anti-children stance, but it lashed out at him after finding out that he murdered children while he was alive; even she won't stand for such a rotten soul, and she only hated children for what they did to her while the Purple Guy probably doesn't have the same excuse.
  • Because it can be destroyed with explosives, and because she died as a result of dynamite, it despises all deities who specialize in them. Deities with explosive weapons or magic are also advised to keep away from the House. Of course, there are always the crazy few who deliberately incite its wrath with their bombs.
    • One particular beast it had the misfortune of encountering was Brachydios when it roamed and found itself rampaging in its direction. After the theropod blew through the Foundation's perimeter, the House was forced to defend itself, but it never had a prayer of surviving its volatile slime. The second time (well, it was actually the Raging variant), the House immediately uprooted and started running away, regardless of whatever else got in its way. It had been total pandemonium in the House of Otherness. After the House was forcibly escorted back, everyone has since made sure that Brachydios never runs the risk of being at the House's current area.
  • As a ghostly entity, she's become another target for the Ghostbusters and other people like them like Jack and Maddie Fenton.

  • It's really something to say when a huge mansion on top of a hill suddenly showed up in the Pantheon. From there a ghost girl emerged, inviting various bystanders to explore the mysterious mansion. The catch? The mansion is made of about a thousand rooms worth of exploration and it holds unimaginable horrors within. Many gods adventured into the unknown house but no one came back. (Well they did, but they don't want to talk about what happened inside)
    • It was later decided that, to prevent more disappearances, that the mansion was declared Spooky's domain and gave her a title so nobody would dare enter again. There are still some fearless gods who enters much to Spooky's amusement.
  • What is Spooky's objective? Get enough people killed in her mansion to make a Ghost Army and Take Over the World so people would take her seriously. Unfortunately, said rules doesn't apply here but Spooky is still trying to find a way to realize that objective.
    • As a backup plan, the court of Gods decided to task Luigi and the Ghostbusters to deal with said threat should the day come.
  • Hates Casper for trying to befriend her, even when she is actively avoiding him in the first place. Ghosts shouldn't be friendly, they should be scary or terrifying! However, she thinks that he would make an excellent specimen 1.
    • Another Ghost she can't stand is Yuyuko Saigyouji, for the Simple fact that she is another Cute Ghost Girl.
  • Apparently, she owns a small forest inhabited by killer deer. For that fact both Xerneas and Bambi actively oppose her for having such creatures living in the house. It became worse when they found out that the leader was a huge humanoid deer that behaves like a Wendigo and apparently, is made out of people it consumed
  • Murdered Santa Claus once. She claims that she didn't have to do anything with that, saying that he died from a Heart attack propelled by the Ghost props. She still didn't explain why was he covered in blood though.
  • She posses a really strange puppet with mysterious powers that could even give The Weeping Angels a run for their money. This has greatly left Link concerned, as that puppet reminds him of the Happy Mask Salesman. It was made worse when spooky was seen casually chatting with Majora's Mask.
  • Admires Ostarion for being the Leader of a Wraith Army and aspires to become like him one day. Wraith King on his part, is interested on taking Spooky as his apprentice.
  • It's been reported that she actually murdered Pac-Man once. The latter doesn't want to talk about that but it's clearly not happy with Spooky.
  • Sometimes, she likes to dress like this or this. Neither The Engineer nor The Heavy know what to think about her.
  • There was one time where she tried to sell some weird hamburgers that, according to her, were made on her mansion with special "Beef" meat. Nobody trusted her and after a series of investigations, it was later revealed that some kind of demon was behind the creation of those burgers. As a result, Spooky is restricted to enter the House of Food again.
  • Rumored to have some sort of agreement with Kyubey. There is no basis for this theory yet but a A strange poster has been recovered from one of her mansion's rooms linking at the Incubator.
    • Obviously, Madoka and the rest of the Puella Magi didn't like that and openly oppose Spooky's schemes. Spooky doesn't pay them attention, however, she has strong dislike for Mami, since she is very fond of guns.
  • Isn't a big fan of axes, as the last visitor she had found one in her home and made a BIG mess. Any ax user is fed up with her because she is always taking away their stamina. The most prominent axe wielder is the Undead Slayer Artix von Krieger who has come to this temple just because he has an unhealthy obsession with smiting the undead and the fact that taking away his axe will not strip him of his powers. Spooky learned that the hard way when he unleashed a humongous beam of energy from the Spirit Orbs he gained after a ten million Undead slaughter back in his home world.
    • However, she hates guns, for the fact that she died because of one trigger-happy person. For that reason, she stays far away from the House of Weapons.
  • Don't you ever dare call her cute, she hates being called cute and that's one of the reasons she ended up dead in the first place. The last time someone called her cute... well...she slaughtered a lot of people in a mall (There are people that say that's actually an arcade game, actually that game was based on Spooky's Rampage and it was a lot less bloody)
  • After a long investigation around the Pantheon, she decided that she would "reorganize" his House in order to improve the specimens kept there and add more danger to the mansion. She enlisted various ghost to fill the spots of some of the Creatures found there. Not everyone featured has agreed with her, but their opinion did not matter to her.
    • Napstablook as Specimen 1
    • Arachne and Anub'arak as Specimen 3
    • Hisako and Sadako Yamamura as Specimen 4
    • Pyramid Head as a Specimen 5
    • BEN and The Weeping Angels as Specimen 6
    • Giygas as Specimen 7
    • The Wendigo as Specimen 8
    • Diablo as Specimen 11
    • Jack the Ripper as Specimen 12
    • The Dazzlings as Specimen 13
      • She wasn't able to find replacements for Specimens 2, 9 and 10 but she is still in the hunt for those.
  • Due to copyright issues, Spooky's House of Jumpscares was renamed to Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion. Spooky's opinion of this is unknown.

  • Sympathetic towards: Gregor Samsa
  • Other Relations: Basical and Tiny Baltan
  • In 1982, a legion of aliens landed in Johannesburg, South Africa and in the years since then, they have been relegated to living in District 9, a camp intended to be a place where the prawns (as they are derogatorily referred to) can live. Nothing resembling positive progress has occurred and tensions between the prawns and humans results in the prawns having to be relocated. Wikus van der Merwe, an agent for MNU, is hired to take charge of the relocation and in doing so, ends up getting exposed to an alien substance and gradually mutates into a prawn. As the mutation progresses, Wikus comes across Christopher Johnson, an alien living in the district, and as he comes to understand just how bad the aliens have it, helps Christopher and his son escape the area amidst heavy opposition from the MNU.
  • Yet another extraterrestrial sighting was reported in the Pantheon and measures were taken to ensure that things will work out, whether the aliens in question meant no harm or would present themselves as yet another threat to the Pantheon. The encounter took place in an isolated area of the Pantheon and the aliens in question turned out to not be much of an issue. These prawns somehow ended up in the Pantheon planet and things went comparatively more smoothly to get them to understand what the Pantheon planet is like than what happened in Johannesburg, with Christopher Johnson and Little CJ (the two aliens who escape from that place), as well as human-turned-prawn Wikus also being present during the Pantheon’s initial meeting with them.
  • Christopher and his son have taken a strong liking towards E.T. and how the latter making the effort to return to his kind brought to mind Christopher and Little CJ doing what they can to return to their dropship. Unsurprisingly, what Christopher and Little CJ had to go through was much more violent than anything related to E.T., but the big difference here was that Christopher had the help of a government agent who was turning into an alien whereas E.T. was a target of government agents. It was quite a bit for E.T. to comprehend, but the alien saw Christopher as a good friend and has shown sympathy towards Wikus, with the latter generally returning that sentiment.
  • The Pantheon contained a multitude of other aliens who were able to coexist with humans and unlike what happened with the prawns at District 9, most of those other aliens had a largely better experience when it came to living with humans, even if it came with different sets of problems. Whether it’s something as mundane as living with humans or doing something far more extraordinary with them (and sometimes, those aliens have a far more human appearance), it became clear to Wikus and Christopher that such an idealistic scenario was never going to happen in Johannesburg. For the most part, the aliens that have gotten themselves acclimated to human life are sympathetic to the fact that the aliens had it hard in District 9 and that the actions of Wikus (after his mutation) and Christopher were a step in the right direction in making sure aliens and humans can live together without extensive hardships. That said, Roger Smith admitted that he would have approached things much more differently than the prawns if he and the others of his kind were in District 9.
  • One particular individual who has had a horrible experience with aliens and has had difficulty with coming to terms with what happened at District 9 was John Nada. While he has his reasons for hating aliens given how they overtook his society and he had to fight back, at that area there was at least an attempt to integrate the aliens into human society that proved unsuccessful and at worst, those prawns are considered to be lower-class nuisances (in stark contrast to the higher-class aliens that Nada was in conflict against). The fact that Wikus was not actually an alien disguised as a human, but a human who was mutated into an alien and had to help an alien referred to as Christopher Johnson escape was another thing that came as a surprise to Nada. He gradually came to see District 9 as an opposite of his own experience with aliens in regards to how the aliens are seen, though Wikus and Christopher did see Nada’s ordeal as a possible worst-case scenario in terms of alien-human coexistence.
  • As far as alien races are concerned, the Alien Baltans were one such group that, in many ways, proved to Wikus and Christopher that the Pantheon would very much be different from District 9. The Baltans came in many different versions ranging from benevolent to destructive and the race as a whole has taken plenty of action when it comes to those that are aware of them. The Tiny Baltan has shown a noticeable interest in alien-human coexistence and was taken aback at how poorly the aliens were treated in District 9 (and that putting aliens in specialized slums wasn’t the way for coexistence in her opinion) even though much of the abuse was exposed after Christopher escaped and Wikus fully transformed into a prawn. That said, she does acknowledge that the actions of the two at least were a step in making sure there is less hostility between peaceful aliens and humans. As far as other Baltans are concerned, Christopher is understanding of Basical trying to protect the Baltan children given how Christopher was trying to keep his son safe, though violence is clearly not something Christopher is willing to commit to.
  • The fact that the aliens that landed in Johannesburg was common knowledge amongst its locals came as a surprise to organizations dedicated to keeping extraterrestrials in check and ensuring that they remain a secret to those outside of their respective organizations. Given how the Pantheon’s scale meant that secrecy was going to be much harder (if not outright impossible), the most those organizations could do is watch them and see if anything of note will happen. Seeing a government agent mutate into an alien that they’re keeping an eye on gave reason for these groups (notably the SCP Foundation given the circumstances regarding some of their members) to be careful that what happened to Wikus won’t happen to them.
    • Although most are simply content in making sure Wikus and Christopher (and by extension the rest of the prawns) aren’t causing any major trouble, there are some organizations that are more actively hostile towards them. The Black Ops have made no secret in wanting to see yet another alien race out of the picture and by extension, anyone involved with Wikus and the other prawns. While the more antagonistic members of the HECU don’t see any problem in taking out Wikus and Christopher, the more noble members of the group have been a little apprehensive about it with the most they can do is trying to prevent innocents from being harmed if they’re involved.
  • Wikus wasn’t the only individual who had to deal with an unexpected transformation and dealing with the ramifications of such. Gregor Samsa was someone who suddenly woke up as a humanoid cockroach one day (as opposed to having a gradual transformation like Wikus) and had his life fall apart in the process. While Wikus did what he could before his transformation was complete and was able to help Christopher in the process, Gregor’s efforts didn’t amount to much partially since the transformation had already occurred, but the suffering that both parties went through didn’t change. Both Wikus and Christopher have some sympathy towards Gregor considering what happened and how Gregor tried to survive amidst a bunch of uncaring people.
  • Christopher Johnson can understand Francoeur’s plight of being an inhuman creature with a good heart that’s trying to survive a world that wouldn’t accept them. Wikus was also understanding of what Francoeur went through given how Wikus gradually became ostracized by the humans he was formerly working with after coming into contact with the alien substance that would cause his mutation. Whereas Francoeur would later be accepted by society, there wasn’t any way for Wikus to return to the society he once belonged to even though there was Christopher’s promise to Wikus that there would be a way to reverse the mutation. Aliens were a rather unusual subject for Francoeur to get used to, but he was willing to understand the two’s plight in any case.
  • Princess Aurora gave Wikus an awkward look upon meeting him. Apparently he looks like a [[Film/Maleficent version of her father, King Stefan]], who's significantly more evil than his original counterpart. Wikus, for his part, considers that Stefan's decision to cut off Maleficent's wings in order to claim the throne a callous decision, and reassures Aurora he's not like that any more.

He still visits the museum often, but for some reason, he chose not to when Tilly brought the tablet back to the Museum of Natural History three years later.
  • Has been hired to act as a guard inside the Treasure Vault.
  • For some reason, the Penguins mistook him for a lion they knew.
  • Larry has also struck up a friendship with kindred spirit Mike Schmidt, who also happens to be a security guard at an establishment that gets extremely weird at night ( or at least he used to be). They regularly exchange stories, and are united allies against the threat of Freddy Fazbear, The Marionette and with the aid of the previous two, Springtrap.
  • Was happy to hear the news of Springtrap's final defeat in the mortal world, and like Mike, has increased cooperation with the Marionette to make sure that the murderer inside Springtrap doesn't take his anger out on any child gods of the Pantheon.

  • Demigoddess

  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Action Survivor, Alone with the Psycho, Disability Superpower, Handicapped Badass, The Mark
  • Domains: Blindness, Protection
  • Heralds: Sam (her husband), Gloria
  • Allies: Kevin McCallister, Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Laurie Strode, Marion Crane, Toph, Jayfeather, Lisbeth Salander, Leon and Mathilda
  • Enemies: Paul and Peter, Walter White, Tony Montana, Alex DeLarge
  • Susy is a vivacious young woman who has been blinded in a car accident for a year. When a doll stuffed with heroin was brought to her apartment by her husband, a trio of thugs led by Harry Roat broke into it in order to retrieve the doll back and convinced Susy that her spouse had been implicated in the crime and the only way to protect him is to surrender the doll. However, she proves to be resourceful and intelligent, which ultimately gives her an edge against the criminals. The Main House is rather sympathetic to her situation, and decided to ascend her for Protect This House.
  • Her temple is pretty much a recreation of her apartment. One improvement that was given to her new temple is that it was given a new security system that’s intended to ward off potential criminals from vandalizing it. Not that it prevented them from finding ways to hack through the system. Additionally, her husband, Sam, as well as Gloria also reside in that temple and has served as her heralds.
  • One particular deity that she is close with is Kevin McCallister, given their shared situation of having to deal with their house being invaded by a group of criminals. Kevin views Susy as a sort of mother figure, and sometimes, he would even come to her house to care for her due to her blindness. Thanks to Kevin, she has gotten into setting up traps in her house in case someone breaks into her apartment again.
  • Matt Murdock has also expressed an interest in Susy, impressed that a blind person like her was capable of defending herself against a group of criminals. While the two don’t interact much, they remain good friends.
    • Besides Daredevil, another blind person she is also on good terms is Toph Bei Fong. Susy is impressed with how a young blind girl like Toph can be capable of wielding earth powers.
    • As a blind cat, Jayfeather can relate to Susy’s difficulties and angst in living in blindness. He drops by her temple regularly to check on her and Susy has learned to expect him and leave treats for him. Consequently Susy is one of the few deities Jayfeather isn't a jerk to.
  • She doesn’t seem to have a liking for Peter and Paul, given that they would sneak up to different houses by having certain residents of said houses play a game, only to have them murdered. The two seem to have no problem wanting to play said game with her, but Susy, having learned from her experiences, has constantly refused to let them in her apartment. She’s also wary of Alex DeLarge and his droogs as they tend to attack people in whatever house they come across.
  • Another person that Susy had to deal with is Walter White, who seems to be interested in a doll that has cocaine inside. She has tried to avoid him after she heard about his connections with the drug ordeal. Tony Montana has also expressed equal interest on the doll as he felt that it could potentially give him a profit from the cocaine trade, which Susy has also objected to.
  • Became allies with both Laurie Strode and Marion Crane after hearing how both of them went through similar situations as she did. She is especially close with Laurie, who also had to deal with a home invasion, but also feels sorry for Marion given that the latter didn’t survive her visit to the Bates Motel.
  • Lisbeth Salander also ended up siding with Susy because she tends to be a defender of women who are disadvantaged in some way. Lisbeth would give Susy some advice in self-defense and get back at those who assail the blind woman. In turn, Susy, being a big believer in being nice to everyone, serves as a Morality Pet to Lisbeth.
  • Susy has also befriended Leon and Mathilda after hearing how the latter had her own problems because of her family being involved in drug-dealing and getting murdered by a corrupt officer who was also involved in the business. That, and Leon has recommended Mathilda to stay with Susy whenever he’s at work in hopes that Susy will serve as a good influence for the little girl.

  • Alignments: Neutral Evil for Winslow, Lawful Evil for Wake
  • Portfolio: Drunken handlers, the only two members of the entire location, slowly driven insane due to the isolation, follows Winslow's life through the island, but with both real and horrific delirium, both speak in fluent 20s-30s speech, fighting over the mysterious light above the lighthouse, surreal and questionable occurrences between each other including hints of repressed sexual desires, both are dead by the end

  • On the very old days, lighthouses were a common sight amongst the seafarers for their needs of traversing the seas, in the case they might need a single sight of land especially at dark times. What some people wonder at is whether or not these lighthouses could be maintained for such years with rather mundane tasks and the few people trying to keep the lighthouse at bay. And on an isolated island within New England, two men would soon find out the jobs they had taken upon arrival on the island, an old salty-sea sailor who stayed for years within the island, and a young drifter who took the job of being an assistant. Despite the mundane actions they had taken, it did not take long till both of each other's trust would wither away and the troubles of isolationism would take a toll on both their sanity and their lives.
    • These two Englishmen of the 30s were tasked to maintain a lighthouse, with one of them, Ephraim Winslow, seeking a job as an assistant to a crusty old man, who goes by the name of Thomas Wake. To say that there was trust issues between the two would be an understatement. Ever since Winslow set a foot into the island, his trust with Wake was at the very bottom, as he was given menial tasks and less than savory living conditions while Wake was just simply drinking while on the job. However, one night, when Winslow notices a scrimshaw of a mermaid, he ends up having sexual fascination of it and his curiosity of the lighthouse they were maintaining grew when he saw a nude Wake entering it and alongside were dreams of the place itself, including tentacles, tree stumps floating on the water and of all things, a mermaid.
    • Following days the two would grow closer but tensions would be at an all time high. Winslow's sexual frustrations would culminate in him masturbating to the mermaid scrimshaw but would not finish due to witnessing a naked Wake yet again, showing hints of repression in him. Later at the night, Wake would lecture on his assistant regarding the second assistant he had for the job and how he died out of insanity. For a while, the two would grow and their tensions, while at an all time high, were not so harmful, until the third day when Winslow, out of rage for being attacked by a seagull, mercilessly beats it to death, signaling what would be a change of pace between the two and in a very bad way.
    • What would happen next would go down as one of the most surreal breakdowns between the two, as a storm blocks their chance of moving out of the island, several events occur. The ferry that was meant to pick them up did not arrive, leading the two stranded. Winslow would find a mermaid washed up ashore and would grope her until it screeched, scaring him. The loss of rations forced the two to utilize alcohol as a backup, all while the two grew even closer than before but growing even more adversarial towards each other, like the one time Wake made a heavy rant against Winslow for insulting his lobster cooking and more importantly, the latter's growing curiosity of the light within the lighthouse. The last part, combined with Wake's control over the lighthouse for secretive reasons would result in the two fighting until Winslow killed the old man, only to finally see the light and horrifyingly scream in agony over what he saw. The final fate of Winslow turned him into live food for the seagulls to feast in his innards, living the last few hours of his life in agony.
  • The duo's ascension occurred on the third day of their stay in the lighthouse, just moments before the supposed ferry picked them up. While sleeping, sudden flashes of light, of which Winslow thought would originate within the inside of the lighthouse, appeared surrounding the island they were on. Upon going outside, they noticed something different, outside of the normal skies and rocking waters, there were visible patches of land closer to the lighthouse, though they needed some sort of boat to allow access. They would soon be shocked at what they would see next.
    • Upon arriving at the land, they realized that the location was not New England. Instead, it lead them to a different location, brimming with different array of color and people both big and small. They also had noticed that the moment they stepped into the new land, they could see a doorway that would lead them straight back into the lighthouse. At first, Winslow was cursing Wake for this vivid nightmare but clarifications from both Alma and Elisabet Volger, who arrived and recognized the two, kept both from further escalation. Alma explained that they are within a place called the "Pantheons", where a large conglomerate of characters from different forms of media where chosen and would comprise their position based on what they represent. Wake thought of it as the similar system that the God of the Sea, Neptune, would originate from and they did somewhat confirm it. Winslow on the otherhand was still dumbfounded by the utter nonsense and demanded the two to lead them, of which they were lead to the Court of the Gods.
    • After consideration from beings larger than them, Winslow finally understood the intention of their "ascension". Representing the very location they stayed in, both Winslow and Wake further agreed to their decision to bring the duo in but in the last second, Winslow asked if ever he could return back to New England. The beings simply noded their heads but he was confused as to whether that was a yes or no. Ultimately, the duo were then warped back into the lighthouse, and thinking that it was all a dream, continued their duties, until Wake pointed to him that the boat they used to discover the land connecting to the Pantheons was on the other shore, leaving them both stranded.
  • Those who have witnessed the horrors of isolationism will have surely agreed that both Winslow and Wake's madness derived from the duo stuck on an island with no help, backup or even assistance from the outside. Coupled with the terrible personalities that both exhibit, the addition of wine to their rations, constant abuse both verbally and physically and to top it all off, a maddenning curiosity of the light, they were doomed to suffer due to loneliness and a lack of social contact, something humans naturally have.
  • Despite knowledge about the Pantheon, both of them refuse to go out despite the Pantheon's higher ups even giving them doors to the new place. Outside of lack of trust of the place, the two are just generally terrible people to begin with: Thomas Wake is one sea-salty sailor who seems to clamor on the old sea legend, such as the existence of sea gods, kraken-like creatures as well as his rather lazy lifestyle, hence why alcohol is pretty much what he spends most of his time for. Ephraim Winslow on the other hand is not so much better, demands so much from his other partner, easily angered and is not even the actual person but rather one who is impersonating Winslow. If you meet them by chance, do not expect a simple conversation as it will derail itself fast by their conflicts towards each other.
  • While the two are living off their lives, the House of Narrative and Knowledge have collaborated on what they should do with their memories. The events that unfolded past the third day which included surreal dreams, more physical anger towards each other and Winslow's discovery of the light were to be kept secret to the two. After a few meetings, the houses have agreed to keep any memories past the third day away from them and for the most part, are used to study what it all meant.
    • These symbols for those curious are very vivid and varied but to keep it short: many symbols and mysterious events have been present and some are very eerie to discover. The two Houses mentioned have tried putting the pieces together but somehow each discovery contradicts the last, turning almost all hypotheses into a blank state.
      • The siren for instance is a coping mechanism for Winslow, as he tries to hold against his homosexual desires towards Wake as well as the actual Ephraim Winslow who died in an accident (or so thought). The mermaid was a byproduct of him concocting a "female" figure to hold his urges, hence him later masturbating left him in distraught for imaging a siren but due to Wake being the only human presence, his image also popped up during his ejaculation.
      • Then there is the lighthouse itself, as the entire story might have been a retelling of the story of Prometheus. And even past that, some question what exactly caused the two to go mad even ignoring Winslow's easily angered and unstable mindset and Wake trying to gaslight him. If looking at face value, we see two men slowly losing their sanity as they are left alone against each other with no one to help. But looking outside of that; was there some manipulative entity putting them on course? Perhaps it was some Lovecraftian effect that pulled both into the light? And if we count the coversations between the two and the fact that Winslow admitted that he is actually Thomas Howard, could this be a sign of purgatory or better yet, a distant final dream of Thomas Howard dying in the Canadian wilderness? We will never know, and neither does the two.
  • At one point, Winslow, after growing tired of Wake's orders, decided to enter the Pantheon under his discretion. After few minutes of meeting some of the inhabitants, he has some sort of grip towards the reality he is living in, although it is not without doubts from himself. He even met people of similar fate, of people who have gone through the trials of living in eerie silence, some of which succeeded and some of which, got even worse. Those who succeeded were Pi and Richard Parker, a duo that survived within the sea as the two were stranded on a boat for 227 days. He thought it was unlikely that a human survivor and a fully grown Bengal Tiger would be able to survive without the issue of one killing the other but alas, it happened and Pi got to live to tell the tale. On the other spectrum however, was Captain Martin Walker, who while Winslow was talking to, Wake came from behind with an axe, suspicious as to who he was talking to. Wake described him as a lying thief with no good blood to spare, though Walker was unfazed by the sailor's comments. Then again, when you think about both of their fates, was there any good side between the three?
    • The duo would meet both Alma and Elisabet Volger once again, with Winslow asking more questions, the most important as to why they recognized him and Wake upon first meeting. As it turns out, both of them are almost similar: how the two are seemingly friends, then soured as the days went by, their identities are often questioned, isolated from the outside world and their accompanied weird imagery only made things closer for them. It would slowly make sense as to why both Alma and Elisabet first accompanied and assisted both Winslow and Wake the moment they took a first step in the Pantheon as they would see similar comparisons with each other.
    • More comparisons would draw up as the duo suddenly bumped with Robert Scranton who immediately ran without hesitation. After reading a brief document regarding Scranton's situation, it made the two think as to what caused their madness and those who know their story well will know how isolationism is the true cause of the two.
  • One day, the lighthouse was under observation by a group of four individuals, all writing about their observations. Wake, fearing of their intervention went out with an axe to scare them but none flinched. The Bedtime Stories crew, as they introduced themselves, asked to Wake if more observation was allowed into the lighthouse. He agreed but not on the lighthouse itself, making the question albeit pointless. As for why they ventured into the lighthouse, well that was because their first case was the Flannan Isle Lighthouse which may or may not have suffered the same fate as these two, warranting them an opportunity to observe them. Despite shutting them out, one member will often observe the two through a safe distance.
  • Ephraim Winslow, if looking at the surface, is a regular drifter, out to find a job. Though he contemplates saying that him looking for a job is for penance, meaning he is not finding a job for the sake of getting a job. After meeting Thomas Wake, his patience for him putting up towards his mistreatment has been tested to the point that he questions why he even bothered to be there. And things would soon spiral out of control after revelation that he is not the real Ephraim Winslow, rather an impersonator by the name of Thomas Howard, who took the identity after the real Winslow died on an accident. More bombshells would showcase themselves such as "Winslow" repressing his sexual desires to Wake (or even to the real Winslow as the reason as to why he died in an "accident"), the idea that his death might have been an allegory to purgatory or even him having a dream towards his final moments in a snowy forest and his slow obsession towards finding out about the light within the lighthouse only shows that underneath all the normal attitude is an unstable and often than not, irritable person with no good soul in himself.
    • Some of Winslow's dreams include mermaids for some reason. No one knows as to why he would dream of such, nor does he, as the only reaction to the sight of a siren is to literally masturbate on one, or god forbid, grope and attempt sexual intercourse on it (which may lead to him imagining Wake as the image of the siren, signalling the somewhat obvious "hiding his homoerotic desires" thing). This has lead to him outright avoiding or lusting on most merfolk, from the princess Ariel, to even Ruto. The latter of which was utterly disgusted that Winslow masturbated at a siren's scrimshaw, and when she showed it to everyone, the reaction of most merfolk were equally the same.
    • Judging by the final moments of his life, there is a very good reason why Winslow has avoided Prometheus. Outside of the two searching for an element that they have grown a connection with, only to take it from its place and suffer a worse fate, that one being having their innards pecked and taken by birds throughout their life. Still, it has still him thinking if maybe he was a god all along but such thoughts are reserved for him, maybe until he finds out the true nature of the light.
    • And speaking of light, the Light of Destruction is one of the very things Winslow has avoided outright, only because the presence of itself may have sparked some of his memories, that being the unspeakable sight he witnessed the moment he looked at the lenses pointing to the light he wanted to see. Ever since he saw even a glimpse of the Light of Destruction, he has lowered his obsession for the light, only to stubbornly return back moments after remembrance.
    • For one who is rather doubtful with mythical sea creatures, it does put a dent into Winslow's thoughts once he saw the sea creatures of old, such as the Kraken into existence, further highlighting some of Wake's stories to be true, although it became blurry when other creatures such as the Kraeken (who Wake calls as Neptune's people for some reason) and even Cthulhu were present. He does not want to talk about the last one though if you consider that what he might have peered into the light could have been something mysterious or perhaps terrifying enough that it lead him paralyzed.
  • Thomas Wake on the other hand is an old crusty sailor who has stayed in the lighthouse for who knows how long. No one knows how long he stayed but one thing is for certain is that he was a past sailor. He also had experience with the first assistant of the lighthouse but he stated that he died out of insanity; a foreshadowing of the fate both Winslow and he would soon take after the insane mental toll they would take. Even outside of that, Wake is shown to be an equally terrible person, if not worse and creepy while at it. Naked within the lighthouse on certain occasions, especially on nighttime, fascination with cephalopods or perhaps even being one as shown by him morphing into different images but perhaps the most damning of all sights is that the so called Thomas Wake, might not even be real at all, or perhaps he must be gaslighting on purpose to 'spill the beans'.
    • Being a manager of the lighthouse has kept him rather lazy, hence the requirement of an assistant to do the tedious workload. As for what Wake does? Well, he drinks and sleeps on the job, all the while serving food, mostly lobster, and telling weird tales of the seas and his past life. And if he isn't doing that, well, he is probably putting your name in the rut like that one time he placed Winslow into severance with no pay. Yes, Wake is pretty much what you would expect from a jackass like him. Oh and by the way, do not try to shit talk to him about his food, he will hark at you for berating his cooking.
      • It is this jackassery that lead to Wake's criticisms towards other people who had relations with lighthouses like Spongebob and Doofenshmirtz, the former of which tried to change the light of a lighthouse with a simple lightbulb to help a ship, only for said ship to fall to another rock and Doofenshmirtz had the bright idea of using a lighthouse as some sort of homing beacon for ships to leave the dock for comforting to sleep, only for the beacon to backfire and return back to his HQ instead. It is this that Wake berates the modern people for not understanding how a lighthouse works and decided that sticking within the Pantheon grounds pretty much equates with him ignoring everyone. He is rather neutral with the Villager though as he seems to understand how lighthouses are maintained in some capacity, even if it is not the same norm as he understands it.
    • Sailors for the most part have certain beefs against Wake, questioning if he even was a sailor at all of which there are many inconsistencies with Wake's storytelling that shows he is not telling the truth, made even more obvious with the gaslighting he does towards Winslow, increasing the insanity he has to deal with. Both Ahab and Haddock are angry at his presence, calling him to be a disgrace towards sailors in general, as they have very good reason to doubt his profession as even a mere sailor of the high seas would remember his ship, something Wake clearly never had.
    • Regarding if Wake was even real in the first place, this is perhaps a contentious point in regards to him. While he was obviously there since day one, it may show that he may not be a real person as several days later, he gave what is perhaps hints of Thomas Howard's actual fate (even if left ambiguous), that alongside him not even correctly counting how much time they have spent within the island and him intentionally gaslighting Winslow into further insanity all while remaining sane at the same time shows that the sailor might not be as human as he is.
      • In the Pantheon, this may explain some similarity between Wake, Martin Walker's conscience as Konrad and even Elisabet Volger, who in reality, is just Alma's other personality: they might have a presence but it is unsure if they are even real in the first place, although for Wake, there is at least some evidence of him existing and Konrad on the hand was a real person, except he was dead for a long time.

  • The Great Recession was a brutal time economically in North America in part due to many people losing their jobs. Fern, whose husband had passed away previously, is among those who lost their jobs after the company she worked for closed down, prompting her to pack her things in a van and live the life of a nomad. She meets others who have lived a wandering lifestyle longer than she has and takes up various temp jobs throughout her travels. Fern also meets her sister who has lived a more normal life in a house and Fern embracing living as a nomad causes a bit of a rift between her and her sister’s family. David is another nomad who Fern gets to know better, but he eventually returns to living in a traditional home after realizing that this has strained his relationship with his son. Despite the possibility of settling down with people she didn’t expect to meet again, the grief of losing her husband has never left Fern and she turns down living a more stable housing life in favor of continuing the nomad lifestyle.
  • Fern continued traveling around North America in her van when she decided to visit a rest stop during a cold night. She met another nomad who was visiting that rest stop and struck up a conversation with them and she ended up hearing an unusual story from them. It involved a faraway world that could somehow be accessed somewhere in North America and not only do many visit it, but the denizens from that strange world have taken the time to check out the rest of North America and quite possibly, the rest of the world. The nomad told Fern that this story was dismissed by some as a tall tale, but others believed it and have even claimed to witness such strange events. After the nomad bid farewell to Fern, she slept in her van under the clear night sky, wondering how much truth there was to the traveler’s tale and if this strange setting really existed (whether as a mere spot or something bigger entirely), what life was like for those involved.
  • She decided to visit a mostly abandoned city with few people living there one day when she saw a motorcycle parked next to her van. It led Fern to Kino, another person who has spent her life traveling to many different locations for a period of time. The fact that Kino could talk to her motorcycle wasn’t even the strangest thing about her that Fern would learn given how many unusual places Kino has visited. Fern discovered that Kino’s travels were the result of her escaping a terrible fate Kino’s hometown would have imposed on her once she reached a certain age, a much darker reason compared to Fern losing her job during economic troubles. While Fern has gotten the hang of being nomad a couple of years in, Kino has traveled for much longer despite being younger and has given Fern advice on the kinds of unusual places to be careful of. With how often they have traveled, that abandoned city wasn’t going to be the only time Kino and Fern would meet and they would exchange stories of their respective travels during such encounters.
  • Mystery Incorporated was unusual to Fern for many reasons despite the group traveling around in a van like she does. Not only do they seem to be better off financially given the resources they have at hand, but trouble always seems to follow those meddling kids and their talking dog in the form of many masked crooks seeking some kind of monetary gain or revenge. After solving another mystery, the gang decided to visit a diner to celebrate and Fern happened to have a temp job there at that time. Fern noticed the Mystery Machine while getting the gang’s order ready and Fred was eager to talk to Fern about it given his fondness for the Mystery Machine. Fern’s van was decidedly more modest compared to what the Mystery Machine has in store at times, but Fred still found it fascinating to learn of another person spending the majority of their life traveling in a van and that it would be interesting to meet her again even if Fern’s life was much more mundane compared to Mystery Inc’s.
  • Greg Universe was another person who lived in a van like Fern did, though things were much more complicated beyond simply wandering around trying to fulfill his dreams as a musician. Following the disappearance of Greg’s love Rose Quartz, he would raise his son Steven in Greg’s van before Steven went on an extensive adventure that involved him trying to help others regardless of how troubling they are and dealing with his own inner demons that were building up inside himself. In order to find a new sense of purpose, Steven would eventually travel around the world like his father once did. It was an elaborate story, but Fern still felt understanding toward both Greg and Steven regarding the issues they’ve dealt with and Steven is hoping that he can work on helping Fern get through whatever issues she’s going through whenever they meet.
  • Everyone has their reasons for traveling around the world, whether it’s to fulfill some ambitious goal or merely for fun. A few such as Carl Fredricksen went on an adventure to honor their deceased loved ones and in his case, was able to move on and find some new friends along the way. Fern does it because of economic hardships and unresolved grief from the death of her husband (and while she was able to find some friends like Carl did, she hasn’t been able to keep in touch with them consistently like he had), but there are some who are left wandering the world for darker reasons. Some of these tales about wandering the world Fern heard about from other travelers were supernatural in nature and one involved a man who was cursed by death itself to forever wander the world, leaving behind the destruction of anyone and anything man-made close by if he stays there too long. Fern has never met these supernatural entities from those tales in her travels, but whatever the reason one decides travels, some have had it hard enough that Fern understands why people need to keep moving, especially if death in some form is involved.
  • One unusual vehicle that Fern heard about during her travels was the Infinity Train, a train with many different kinds of cars traveling across the world whose passengers have some kind of personal and psychological baggage they need to overcome. While Fern doesn’t seem willing to change from a van to a train as a mode of travel despite her own unresolved issues, that didn’t stop one of the train’s passengers from having a conversation with her. Tulip Olsen found herself on the train while she was reeling from her parents’ divorce and went through a lot as she came to terms with what’s happened around her, including learning just how troubled the conductor on the train was. Despite Fern not having a clear direction on what to do other than travel, meet people, and take up jobs to earn money, Tulip has done her best to help Fern move on from her personal tragedies no matter how long the process will take. That said, not everyone is willing to have their issues resolved and those trying to help Fern with her issues (Tulip included) doesn’t want her to be someone like Simon Laurent, a man who had many problems build up inside himself to the point that he lashed out at anyone trying to help him, which he took as disagreeing with his beliefs.
  • Fern ended up going back to her sister temporarily while looking for money in order to repair her van. Fern not being there for the rest of the family was something that didn’t sit well with her sister and it wouldn’t take long for Fern to learn that there were plenty of other families who had to deal with close relatives not being there all the time. It was something that Fern was aware of given her experience and hearing about unstable families who were prone to fighting each other was an even heavier topic for her given how some have done what they can to distance themselves from such abuse. Fern never really hated her sister despite the disagreement about the nomad lifestyle, but the fact that some are willing to run away and never return to their families was a reminder on how some familial relations can’t be fixed.
  • After losing her job at her hometown, Fern ended up taking various temp jobs at smaller places across North America and even had a job at a large corporation. While it’s certainly better than nothing given the economic hardships she was facing at the time, it became apparent that she wasn’t the only one who had to endure plenty of hardships to survive a bleak economic time. The Great Depression was a period of economic downturn that was more brutal than The Great Recession in terms of impact and there were people who lived through that period who Fern got to learn about. Compared to the working-class Fern, Ann Darrow had a higher-profile job as a vaudeville actress until The Great Depression made it hard for her to earn money and her avoiding a denigrating job as a burlesque dancer resulted in a far more dangerous adventure on a far-off island and dealing with the dangers that made it back home as a result of Carl Denham wanting to make an ambitious film. George Milton and Lennie Smalls had a more down-to-earth scenario when it came to trying to make money during The Great Depression compared to Ann, but it ended in tragedy that was more personal and severe compared to Ann’s ordeal. Fern was sympathetic towards these figures from The Great Depression in terms of what they had to deal with and learning about a later period of economic problems from Fern was a bit of a surprise for the aforementioned three.
  • Given her habit of traveling across North America, Fern has taken up different jobs, which include factory worker, restaurant employee, and camp host. There were a few people who have taken up many different jobs to the point where Fern has wondered just how much resolve these people have in order to keep a stable job in an uncertain world. It was even more unusual given how someone as young as Mona (who also has a more consistent job working at a gaming company) or someone as clumsy as Goofy (who has done his best to be a good father) are able to have extensive job resumes despite their eccentricities, but it’s just as likely that they’ve done their share of travels by themselves or with their friends. Fern is a bit more world-weary given what she has gone through, but she can see a good amount of optimism in both Goofy and Mona and even if more adventurous occupations are out of the question for Fern, she was encouraged to make the most of whatever her current job is, regardless of what life sends her way.
  • Many have gone through the emotional pain of losing someone they deeply cared about much like how Fern is still reeling from the loss of her husband. Some have worked to overcome such trauma while others haven’t gotten over it no matter how much support they’ve received from others. A select few such as Van of the Dawn saw their loved ones get murdered and have resorted to revenge and traveling across many different locations trying to find whoever was responsible for it. Vengeance wasn’t something that Fern was familiar with at all beforehand and regardless of her sympathies towards others who have lost someone special, she’s worried about the potential emotional problems those people have and how much it could affect those who are trying to help such troubled figures become more stable.
  • Prior to hitting the road, Fern used to be a tutor and substitute teacher and despite more opportunities to seemingly head back to that line of work, she has no interest in revisiting them. She is knowledgeable about the works of William Shakespeare as not only has she taught a few students about them, but she has occasionally quoted said works. This made it all the more unusual when people claimed to her that they saw not just Shakespeare himself, but also the many characters he created. It would be another amusing anecdote from the many strange stories from her travels, there was a possibility that she could eventually meet these characters for real and not just actors who did an excellent job portraying them.

  • Madame Souza lives a humble life in the French countryside alongside her dog Bruno and orphaned grandson Champion who she raised to become a skilled cyclist. When Champion is kidnapped by The French Mafia to be a contestant in a betting ring, Souza and Bruno travel all the way to Belleville, an American city overflowing with decadent lifestyles, obese residents, and a side of poverty by the edge. She meets The Triplets of Belleville, a trio of eccentric old ladies who were vaudeville singers in their youth, who help Souza set up a plan to save Champion. Once they rescue him from the betting ring, the French Mafia chase them around Belleville, but it's the combined wit of the Triplets and Souza, alongside Champion’s biking skills that they’re able to escape the French Mafia and their oddly flimsy cars.
  • For a brief period of time following her adventures in Belleville, life returned to normal for Souza. Normally it would be a while before the next major cycling competition would take place, but a strange letter Souza received in the mail meant that such a contest could happen a lot sooner. The letter detailed a “Pantheonic biking contest” and that Champion was chosen to be part of it. Following some preparations and a lengthy expedition to where the contest was held, Souza and Champion arrived at the contest, with Souza supporting Champion throughout the race. Champion put up a good performance and while Souza was offered to stay at this so-called Pantheon, she opted to stay at her countryside home where the trains pass by, though she is aware of the option to visit every so often if she decides on it.
  • Despite being involved in rescuing her grandson from a mafia gang that’s obsessed with cycling with the help of elderly vaudeville singers in a bizarro version of the USA, Souza showed very little emotional reaction to everything around her. Even with the Pantheon being even more weird than Belleville and being connected to it, Souza didn’t show much of a reaction when being shown what life was like in the Pantheon for others that lived there. As far as entities in the Pantheon with a similar sense of stoicism are concerned, she has shown less emotion than some of them. Regardless of this odd trait of hers, Souza is generally aware of what’s happening around her and while she has opted out of getting involved in the more extreme aspects of the Pantheon in favor of a comparatively more mundane lifestyle with Bruno and Champion, it hasn’t prevented her from getting involved in some strange events.
  • The Triplets who helped Souza save her grandson are odd entertainers, having performed alongside equally strange characters in their youth while performing music with unlikely items and eating frogs that were knocked out by grenade blasts in their elderly state. Souza figured that some of the entertainers in the Pantheon would be as eccentric as the Triplets in their own way and that proved to be the case when she met The Muppets, an ensemble of wacky characters that have tackled many forms of entertainment in their career. Variety shows seem to be the primary style that the Muppets go for and Kermit, who does his best to keep the craziness in check, found Souza to be a charming old lady with her musical bike wheel and has offered to let her be a guest in some of the more unorthodox musical acts. It helps that the Muppets have embarked on some crazy capers of their own outside of the entertainment realm, so they’re willing to help Souza if something happened that would put her or her friends at risk.
  • Souza using her bike wheel to put on a performance with the Triplets of Belleville got her the attention of a few other musicians who used unlikely items as instruments. Top Cat and his gang have sometimes made music with strange items in-between their plans to get rich and sometimes during them, with TC figuring that Souza could play a role in some plan that he cooked up. TC set up an impromptu performance with Souza as a guest performer as a means to sneak his way to some money, but the plan ended up hitting a few snags after discovering that his targets were some unscrupulous mafia figures. Souza and the rest of the cats helped TC out of trouble and were able to evade the mafia, with TC remarking that he didn’t expect Souza to have some kind of smarts for an old lady and wouldn’t mind seeing her again for the trash-can musical performances he does whenever an opportunity arises.
  • Regardless of her tough training routine to get Champion in prime condition to bike, Souza is a caring old lady of very few words who lives a quiet lifestyle and gets involved in weirdness to rescue her grandson. Muriel Bagge lives in the town of Nowhere alongside Eustace and their dog Courage, with the trio regularly getting caught up in bizarre events that Courage must confront to save the day and Muriel was curious about meeting another kindly old lady. Eustace didn’t care much about someone who didn’t say a whole lot (and the fact that Souza didn’t speak English when she does talk didn’t help), but Courage saw the ordeal involving traveling to a strange city to rescue someone he cared about to be within his wheelhouse, even if it wasn’t completely supernatural. Souza did have her own dog named Bruno, who Muriel took a liking towards the same way that she found good company in Souza.
  • Joe Bucket shares the same doting attitude to his grandson Charlie much like Souza towards Champion and while both have a poor living state and have engaged in a strange adventure, Joe and Souza’s attitudes are different. Joe has a lively personality while Souza is more quiet, but it hasn’t stopped him from befriending her and is impressed at her resilience despite being just as old, if not older, as he is. Madame Foster was another elder who befriended Souza after hearing about the latter’s adventures, with Foster operating a home for imaginary friends and having Frankie, her granddaughter, as part of its staff. While Souza doesn’t have much, if any, time to visit this home for imaginary friends, Madame Foster sees Souza as great company for having plenty of energy to spare in the face of all sorts of madness even if Souza doesn’t show much in the way of emotion.
  • Souza’s strange saga to save her grandson was something that got the attention of those who went on their own quest to rescue children, whether said kids were related to them or not. Bryan Mills, whose daughter was kidnapped as part of a human trafficking operation, found something odd about a mafia obsessed with bicycling, but found it admirable that an old lady was willing to risk everything to save her grandson from trouble and that the dedication he had to keeping his daughter safe whenever danger finds a way back to him is something that Souza should take to heart. Miss Bianca and Bernard were a pair of mice who made a career out of rescuing children from danger and while Champion is older than the other children they’ve rescued, learning about how there was a crime syndicate that was willing to shoot children dead if they proved to be of no use to them gave the mice more of a reason to follow through on rescuing children and they have admiration for Souza for willing to travel afar to save her grandson, regardless of what eccentricities she and her friends have.
  • The Mafia goons that kidnapped Champion and a couple other cyclists were not much of a threat despite their imposing figure, numbers, and willingness to shoot a cyclist dead if they’re becoming exhausted (though Souza wasn’t there during that particular shooting). It became quickly apparent to Souza that there were a lot more crime syndicates in the Pantheon than what she was used to and that the majority of them such as the DiMeo crime family were much more dangerous than the French Mafia in several ways. There were some entities involved in criminal groups who were less malicious than their peers or even groups of gangsters such as Team Bucciarati that had well-intentioned goals, but few had the noble heart that Kazuma Kiryu has. Despite being involved in a life of bloodshed and his intimidating appearance, Kiryu is very kind-hearted, greatly values his children, and is good with kids in general. He has been involved with plenty of strange activities outside of violence, so to hear of how an old Portuguese-French lady traveled to a vaguely American city and got the help of geriatric entertainers to rescue her grandson was something that initially bemused him, but something he can respect given the dangers his children had previously faced. While it may take a bit longer for Souza to be fully accepting of him given her distrust towards many involved with criminal organizations, Kiryu is someone she’s more understanding towards given his actions and personality.
  • As a kid, Champion took a liking towards riding a bicycle and it was Souza’s tough training regimen that he became a competitor in the sport of bicycle racing. While some in the Pantheon have opted to use motorcycles as a means of transportation, a few traditional cyclists have taken notice of Souza’s cycling grandson and wanted to know more about it. Mumen Rider, a hero who rode around in a bicycle and initially believed that Souza was an ordinary old lady, was surprised at several parts of her adventure, including the fact that the biking contraption Champion was on was able to move thanks to Champion’s skills, and Souza using her clubbed heel to trip a car off a bridge. Souza is a lady of very few, if any, words so Mumen Rider gave her some encouraging words and to be careful of going up against threats more dangerous than what she was used to given his own experiences.
