They say it's the journey that counts. This is not the case here. This house is all about where one travels to, willfully or otherwise, and any place one might stop on the way, by force or by choice. This house is the endpoint for every direction in the Pantheon, even the opposite directions.

  • Once there was a cold, ruthless Japanese HR manager who valued efficiency above all else. His life ended when a disgruntled employee he fired pushed him onto an oncoming train. Moments before his death, he heard the voice of a divine being, who he personally referred to as "Being X". Since he had no religious inclination whatsoever, Being X punished him by reincarnating him as a little girl in a magical war-torn reality. Now known as Tanya von Degurechaff, the little girl soldier with the mind of a ruthless modern-day office worker now leads a platoon of troops by applying much of her skillset from her previous life onto her new hellish one. As a result of a high latent magic ability, she has the Elenium Type-95, a device that enhances her current skills, but requires a prayer, much to her anger. More than anything, Tanya is determined to survive her new life at war and spite Being X whenever possible.
  • Tanya woke up in an unfamiliar place one day, unsure of what had happened beforehand. At first, she thought she and her squadron botched a mission and that they had to be put under medical care. As it turned out, Degurechaff and her teammates ended up wherever they were as a result of higher-up powers. It became clear that Tanya's sanity was taking a hit (though since she was talking to others and not in battle, she wasn't exactly showing her loss of sanity during that time) as she asked what that place was. The people she was talking to explained that the place was called a "Pantheon", where anyone can be designated as a "god" based on whatever aspect they have. Tanya was also told that the place can just be considered a world where life goes on with additional changes for others that find themselves there. Although Tanya didn't snap in front of whoever was talking to her, it became apparent that she didn't like what was happening to her.
    • After getting her "composure" back together, Tanya went to an empty church somewhere in the Pantheon and screamed in anger near the statue of a religious figure. She believed that it was Being X who sent her to the Pantheon as a means to get her to worship him. She continued to curse Being X out, declaring that no matter what happens, even in a place where everyone is a "god" in some weird way, she would never worship it in any way whatsoever. To that end, she's among the handful of Pantheonic denizens who don't want to be worshipped as a deity (let alone be acknowledged as such), but rather be simply seen as a regular person.
  • One of the main reasons why Tanya is furious about ending up in a world where “gods” are commonplace is the large number of actual deities who were considered “gods” back in their respective worlds. Of these specific deities, plenty of them are notable for being gratuitously cruel to the world they’re overseeing and want nothing more than to see the people below them suffer. This hatred also extends to those who fancy themselves as a “god” or worse yet, actively trying to seek godhood for their own selfish means. Even if those malevolent figures aren’t tied to Being X in any way, she still believes that it is involved with making those characters the way they are and has continued to do whatever she can to avoid being fully devoted to Being X or some other divine entity that is in the Pantheon.
    • Although Tanya isn’t one to believe in gods and that if they did exist, they have no good intentions, learning about the existence of deities who are genuinely benevolent was still something that didn’t sit well with her. She was barely able to restrain her contempt after coming across Palutena following another difficult battle, not helped by the fact that prior to the direct meeting, Tanya had a few minor supernatural mishaps that led her to believe that “Being X” was mocking her again. Palutena’s tendency to playfully mock others didn’t endear her to Tanya at all, but the former added that in seriousness, there are a lot of deities that are much worse than her out there, regardless of if Tanya doesn’t want to believe in “god”. Tanya has largely considered benevolent deities like Palutena to be major annoyances since that meeting, though her stronger hatred is reserved towards consistently mean-spirited deities.
      • As for the actual beings named “God”, Tanya ended up meeting a bearded man while on break. She didn’t realize that this man was called God until later much to her frustration, but she did have a conversation about him, doing her best to suppress her anger while in front of him. God did have a feeling that someone would not be happy with him, but he ultimately didn’t hold any serious grudge against Tanya. That said, it became clear that Tanya isn’t all that willing to meet up with him again even if he had no ill-will towards her compared to other evil divine entities.
  • While her main goal regarding Being X is to spite it as much as she can for her own survival, she learned about a few denizens in the Pantheon who went beyond mocking gods and outright killed them for varying reasons. Tanya has a mix of both approval and resentment for those particular characters for being able to slay a god that made the worlds they live in miserable, though she has some annoyance in how even though she is trying to be like Shulk in terms of defying whatever destiny is being forced onto her, something keeps happening that makes it worse for her and not better as is the case for Shulk.
    • Even if she is still focused on making sure she isn’t condemned to Hell, the idea of demons wasn’t something she had some awareness of until she ended up learning about Spawn. Like Tanya, Spawn had a previous life as a normal human, was resurrected as something else by a malevolent entity (though Al Simmons did this willingly unlike what happened with Tanya), and eventually made a point to defy their tormentors. She would learn about Malebolgia, the demon who made Spawn who he is, and came to see him as a demon equivalent of Being X in terms of making someone suffer. Speaking of killing high-level demons, Tanya would also learn of The Saint of Killers, a man who killed both the God and Satan of his world (with those higher powers happening to not be friendly in any sense). Tanya is willing to have a sort of friendship with Spawn given how similar their ordeal is in terms of dealing with a higher entity and while she does like what The Saint of Killers did, the latter believes that she still has a ways to go before she can properly deal with this so-called Being X.
  • Tanya wasn’t the only deity to be a reincarnated salaryman having a new life. Rimuru Tempest was also someone whose previous life was that of a salaryman before ending up in a fantasy world, but while Tanya is a highly respected military figure with some potent powers that is struggling to find an easy way out of her predicament, Rimuru has some different, but still very powerful abilities and is the highly respected ruler of a kingdom he founded. Tanya harbors some resentment towards Rimuru for having it much easier than she does in terms of nearly everything while he is rather concerned about her overall personality, given how much of a monster she is in battle and her being coldly cynical outside of it.
    • On the subject of those that had to deal with reincarnation, there isn’t a whole lot in the way of amicability between Tanya and Otonashi, as well as his friends. Whereas Tanya simply died in her previous life and reincarnated into a much more difficult one, Otonashi and his friends ended up in some kind of Limbo and had to come to terms with their past trauma in order to move on. While they are mostly understanding of the fact that Tanya has to deal with a violent war and a malicious deity opposing her along the way, the fact that Tanya never learned anything substantial to improving her character in her previous life (and if anything, applying her logic to her war-torn reality contributed to making things worse for her and everyone else involved) led to Otonashi and his friends keeping their distance from her as much as they can. Yuri Nakamura in particular saw Tanya as a much darker version of herself, especially regarding the possibility that Tanya is what could happen if Yuri never came to terms with her former life.
  • If there is one thing that can be said about her, it’s that Tanya only cares about herself and what might happen to her. While she is perfectly capable of acting like a decent person in front of others, it’s apparent that she’s only putting on that front to ensure her own survival. It wouldn’t come as much of a surprise that she wouldn’t be that friendly towards other narcissists in the Pantheon (even if she is one herself), though things are much more complicated regarding Don Draper. Being someone with a job similar to what Tanya had in her past life, Draper had a lot of corporate power and cared mainly for himself, but unlike the salaryman that reincarnated into Tanya, Draper did try to be a better person even if those efforts didn’t fully work out. Tanya couldn’t help but be reminded of her past life after learning about Draper and as for him, he has some wariness about her, even if Draper isn’t one to talk about religious beliefs and reincarnation.
  • Despite doing her best impression of someone that’s willing to talk to others, Tanya has very few genuine friends thanks to her narcissism and only caring about what’s going to happen to her. Gertrude was one of a handful of Pantheonic deities that Tanya was able to get along with, thanks to them being mentally unstable girls who ended up in a fantasy world that they don’t enjoy being in (though in Tanya’s case, she was reincarnated into said world rather than end up there like Gertrude did). Gertrude did make plenty of efforts to try and improve herself even if she has a lot of problems of her own (and she is someone who has made some effort to try and get Tanya to improve her behavior even if said attempts aren’t fully effective) and Tanya did find it darkly amusing how Gertrude’s journey ended with her as an office worker while Tanya was a salaryman before her reincarnation.
  • Having fought against another girl with military-based magitek weapons named Mary Sue before, Tanya suspected that there would be a few deities like her in the Pantheon and she ended up getting her answer in the forum of a unit known as Strike Witches. The group is a far cry from what Tanya assumed seeing as they’re a multinational team (with a couple of their members hailing from Germany) who take to the skies to fight off a technological alien threat. While Tanya is slightly relieved that none of the members are like Mary Sue in terms of character, she doesn’t think much of them given that they’re fighting a war that would ultimately put a strain on themselves. The German members of the team (Cultural Values Gertrud Barkhorn]] and Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke) were initially curious about another girl coming from a region similar to Germany using military magitek in a war, but Tanya being a heartless soldier and only caring about making sure things work out for her put a damper on a potential meeting between her and the Strike Witches.
  • Despite being a skilled soldier that fights for her country and has been shown to be a bit bloodthirsty in the battlefield at times, Tanya doesn’t think that highly of war, mainly because of how much strain it puts on various resources. While Senator Armstrong is very much an American patriot and nationalist, he took notice of some similarities between her mindset of war and his own. Knowing that the world Tanya ended up in is very much beset by war, Armstrong saw it as evidence of continuing to pursue his goal of a world driven by people seeking what they want. Tanya was also someone who never really believed in her nation’s cause, instead fightly for her own survival, something that Armstrong can understand to some level. He seems to believe that Tanya would make an effective ally for his cause, but thus far she hasn’t taken any interest in whatever it is that he wants. That said, Armstrong is someone who is willing to adapt to whatever may happen and if it involves fighting against Tanya (a battle where there’s a very good chance that she’ll lose if she gets involved against him), then he’s willing to do so if it means having to get her to fully agree with what his ideal world would be like.
  • All told, Tanya is very much a child soldier, albeit one with a mindset not that different from an adult given her previous life. Having confronted a child soldier herself at one point, she rightfully assumed that the Pantheon would have a handful of other child soldiers, though she, for the most part, didn’t really have to worry much about those soldier’s religious devotion. Setsuna F. Seiei, someone who was a child soldier in the past and has devoted himself to trying to eliminate wars, was someone who Tanya had some curiosity in given how the latter was manipulated by Ali Al-Saachez as a kid and later renounced his own belief in God. While Setsuna can understand why Tanya hates her current situation, he is rather disturbed about how she is more focused on herself when it comes to surviving a war. In turn, Tanya does believe that the plans carried out by Setsuna (and by extension the rest of the Gundam Meisters) to try and end wars will lead to more problems than it does towards a solution.
  • Even if the time period Tanya ended up in wasn’t very futuristic, the technology that was used during the wars at that time was more advanced than normal, with Tanya herself having access to a dangerous yet powerful weapon designed specifically for her to use. After ending up in the Pantheon, she rightfully assumed that whatever technology the place had would be even more advanced than what she had. Despite not being officially affiliated with Nazis, she ended up being observed by those types of deities, with the likes of HYDRA, Millennium, and Wilhelm Strasse taking an interest in what she uses and looking to come up with a significantly improved version of such to use for their army. Tanya also ended up meeting Rudol von Stroheim, who took notice of her ties to an empire similar to that of Germany and offered to make some weapons for her to use. While Tanya at least acknowledges him as more tolerable compared to Adelheid von Schugel (and has indeed come up with rather useful items in general), she has begrudgingly preferred to stick with what she has at the moment.

  • Aden and Sonja are childhood friends who find themselves whisked away to another world that shares the name of their home, Fenith Island, with Aden waking up to find Sonja nowhere in sight. Rather, her spirit has taken residence in his own body. Shortly after, the two take up residence in the "Three Sisters" inn run by a trio of sisters named Lily, Odette, and Violet, with the two making themselves at home and quickly getting along with the residents of the island (Sonja can communicate telepathically with other people, even while in Aden's body). Sometime later, a giant plant golem rises from a large, sudden rift in the ground – the result of a seed that Aden and Sonja had planted not long after accepting their circumstances – and descends upon the land. Finding the being cute, Sonja names it Ymir, who then permits the two to ride on him as he walks about the ocean.
    • Throughout their journey in the new world, Aden and Sonja crossed paths with a mysterious masked man who seeks to awaken the Legendary Golem and use it to battle the 4 elder dragons to become a god. Aden, Sonja, and Ymir eventually clash with the Legendary Golem and the Masked Man, with the latter revealed to be possessing Sonja's body. It is that point the duo learn the whole truth: they are actually from Fenith Island 200 years in the past, and were summoned to the future by themselves of all people. Earlier, when Aden, Sonja, the three sisters, and Pandora were trying to summon Wind Dragon Priestess from the past in order to seek her help, having heard that the bloodline died out 200 years ago, the ritual failed and she was displaced somewhere else throughout time. Sonja is the Wind Dragon Priestess, and the time she was displaced to was the day they first found themselves in the future Fenith Island. The Masked Man however took advantage of this and stole Sonja's body to use her power to control the spirits and awaken the Legendary Golem.
    • The Masked Man offers to return them back to their time once he becomes a god instead of losing their lives in a futile battle for a land they don't belong to, but the two refuse to abandon the people and island to their fate, fighting and defeating the Masked Man, allowing them to take Sonja's body back. After saving the world, the Arch-Dragon offers to send them back to their time, but the two turn it down, settling into their new home at Fenith Island before finally returning Sonja's soul to her body.
  • One day, Aden and Sonja received an invitation to the Pantheon due to the Court of the Gods taking interest in their tale and their decision to stay in the future. The two accepted the invitation and became Co-Gods of Staying in their New Home. Aden and Sonja also discovered that their full strength was also restored too after entering the Pantheon (when they separated and returned Sonja's soul to her body, only one of them was able to keep the skills they had gained throughout their journey), most likely because the Pantheon's rules are different from their world.
  • Understandably, the two aren't fond of body snatchers after what happened to Sonja. Because of this, they strongly oppose Orochimaru, Master Xehanort (even if they aren't causing anymore trouble right now), Zamasu, Captain Ginyu, and Dante. They're on high alert on these foes, and don't want anyone else to lose their body to anyone.
  • Being an Earthmate (one who has a special connection to the earth), Aden is known to be skilled farmer and is able to tame monsters. Because of this, Aden gets along very well with the Farmer for their profession in agriculture, and Aden also gets along with Pokémon and Pokémon Trainers due to having tamed Monsters in his world.
  • As a Dragon Priestess, Sonja can communicate with the Spirits via the Spirit Song. This makes her a valuable ally to the Avatar, since her song help fight off Dark Spirits and pacify them. Korra also knows the technique necessary to pacify the spirits, so she and Sonja become great allies.
  • Aden and Sonja tend to visit deities who can provide great service and aid to them just like on Fenith Island. Recette Lemongrass is a friendly and trustworthy merchant, and the two sympathize with her goal. SCP-2295 not only acts as their personal doctor, but Sonja is overcome by her Cuteness Proximity towards him.
  • Tidus was also sent to the future of his world, albeit only because he was living dream that was send to a different world. Regardless, their circumstances are very similar, and Aden and Sonja became fast friends with Tidus and the love of his life Yuna. They both also cheered and congratulated Yuna on reuniting with Tidus.
  • Since they are attuned to nature, the two naturally dislike those who destroy or disrespect the environment and the creatures that live in it. Hexxus and Lich are beings that bring death and destruction in their wake, so they are considered the most dangerous. Hunter J hunts down Pokémon to sell for profit, something that disgusts the two very much, and so they decided to work with Ash to prevent her taking anymore Pokémon.
  • Sonja tends to visit the House of Food, being quite fond of cooking (mainly due to doing all the cooking for Aden). Aden tends to visit the House of Craft due to being good at forging. When they separated back in their world, whoever didn't inherit the skills they gained on their journey tend to stay at the Three Sisters Inn because of their lack of skill in the other.
  • Being time travelers (albeit not by choice despite the fact they were ones who send themselves to the future), Aden and Sonja tend to pay visits to the House of Time and Temporality, interacting with the following deities:
    • The two became fast friends with the Pantheonic Time Police, especially with Future Trunks. Though Trunks admits he never would have thought anyone would stay in a timeline completely different from theirs (not counting him and Future Mai going to an alternate time after their world was destroyed), he is proud of the two for choosing to help the people of the future instead of leaving them to their fates. Aden and Sonja express sympathy for Trunks losing his home and family to Zamasu, though they do openly question his decision to go to the alternate time where Zamasu was stopped from putting his Zero Mortals Plan into effect, considering the people there aren't exactly the same ones he knows.
    • Aden and Hiro instantly became friends, both for having time traveled and for also using Cool Swords. Hiro shows himself to be an admirable and geeky fanboy, praising Aden for saving the people of the future Fenith Island, while Aden is a little modest about his accomplishments.
    • Kyle once traveled to the past to save Sarah, the mother of John Conner, only to end up becoming the father of the latter. Aden and Sonja, in other possible timelines, each married a resident of the future Fenith Island. While these versions of Aden and Sonja actually come from a timeline where they are married, the two still become good friends to Kyle and Sarah.
      • Doc would also fall in love with someone in the past, and he actually chooses to stay in his wife's time due to seeing to how much he feels at home there. Aden and Sonja respect the doctor for his expertise, and they're also fascinated by his creation, the DeLorean, for being an man-made time-travelling method.
    • The duo oppose Reverse-Flash after hearing how he tried to change the past for the worst. They're also especially disgusted when they hear that he's trying to ruin Barry's life and history out of simple, petty spite, so they agreed to work alongside Barry to put a stop to the supervillain if he tries to make another attempt to change the past.

  • Picture this scenario, a group of six kids decide to go to an amusement park for a fun day, culminating with them riding on a roller coaster. Everything seems fine… until, out of nowhere, the kids aren't in the amusement park. In fact, they aren't on Earth at all, instead finding themselves in a magical world and one in a constant state of strife and warfare. There, the kids are confronted by an enigmatic and elderly figure who only goes by "The Dungeon Master" and realizing the severity of their situation and the kids' unity with one another, he decides to bestow them with particular roles and a set of magical items that they could use to protect and aid themselves. From there, the six children embark on a long and arduous quest across an unfamiliar and mostly unfriendly world with the hope that they could one day return to Earth whilst also dealing with the matters of the many residents they would encounter as well as each others' well-being. Along the way, they also have to deal with an evil wizard named Venger, who wishes to conquer the world and hounds the kids in an attempt to claim their equipment as he feels that they would further his dark ambitions. Also, they would gain a companion in a unicorn named Uni, whose presence and actions sometimes help the kids as much as it does trouble, though he would still be seen as an essential and loved member.
  • The six-kid group has faced many threats and figures, ranging from wizards and demons to giant dragons, alongside the usual dungeons and puzzles that they've needed to solve in order to get past trials that determine their characters and abilities. The fact that the Dungeon Master tends to offer cryptic messages and bits of advice sometimes tends to add to this, and one of the latest ones was a code to what was presumed to be an undiscovered land. Per usual, the kids (and Uni) had to deal with a bunch of hazards and unfriendly creatures, they found themselves shrouded by a bright light that eventually blinded them. Next thing they knew, the group was in a wholly new place, namely a giant hall with pearl-toned pillars, and a shining marble floor, and standing in a corner what looked to be a gorgeous woman with a voluptuous figure draped in white. Although the figure walked whilst voicing without any intention to harm, the kids still kept themselves alarmed, that is until Dungeon Master appeared and, much to the group's surprise, expressed that he was called upon by the woman to invite the group as representatives. This caused further confusion for the group, which forced the Dungeon Master to explain that the woman was actually a goddess named Cosmos and that she had been looking into their tales for quite a while. Cosmos would affirm that she actually respects the kids and that their reward was a place in a divine realm which she calls the Pantheon. At first, the kids were a bit nervous but were eased when Cosmos told them that they'd meet new friends and would be taken care of, followed by Dungeon Master affirming that he's been in Cosmos for some time and that they could trust her for now. With that confirmed, the kids (and Uni) felt a bit more confident and we're willing to accept the offer as representatives for the Pantheon. That said, their anxiety remained, for this was a new world they had to deal with, regardless of whether Venger was here or not.
  • The group has very varied personalities and preferences, giving them a very dynamic outlook and reputation towards others. And yet even with their stark differences and disagreements, they would never deny the fact that they're friends to the very end and will do whatever they can to to support each other. Their personalities for in very well with the roles that Dungeon Master had bestowed on them; Hank the Ranger is a reliable and confident leader, Diana the Acrobat is a skilled warrior, Eric the Cavalier is a stout and affirming boy in spite of his pessimism, Presto the Mage is a geeky and reserved kid who is good in sorcery, Sheila the Thief is a shy and reclusive girl despite wanting company, and her younger brother, Bobby the Barbarian is a rambunctious and tenacious boy who is willing to pick a fight against anyone who threatens his friends and especially his older sister. Despite their general nervousness and often showing fear, their exploits have proven that the kids are braver than they give themselves credit for. Still, the Pantheon has a feeling of grandiosity that seems just as exciting as it is uncertain and tense. Regardless, the kids (and Uni) hope that this can better their opportunity to return home and are glad that they still have Dungeon Master to call upon for support as well as a bunch of new friends.
  • The group of six very quickly realized that they weren't the only ones who had the misfortune of being in another world and being largely unfamiliar with what they had to deal with. That said, they would make new friends, grow mature and more responsible, and prove themselves capable of handling themselves, even if they still feel that the world ruled by Venger proves unforgiving and harsh. Despite this similarity, they had more differences compared to the likes of the entourages led by Kazuma Satou, Subaru Natsuki, and Naofumi Iwatani, but this didn't stop them from connecting and keeping up in contact with each other, especially since Dungeon Master's appointed kids kept bumping into them a number of times and had to deal with their issues as well. The kids were a bit surprised by the scope and wackiness Kazuma, Subaru, and Naofumi tended to deal with, but those three were impressed to see that the septet worked really well together and their friendship with the kids would be worth it. On the other hand, the kids would rather not be associated with the Isekai label, even if they predate the term by a number of years as far as they've been told.
    • Another group of people who found themselves in a fantastical world was the Pevensies, a sibling quartet who not only found themselves in the land of Narnia but were destined to be their ruler as scheduled by its founder, Aslan, though this came after fighting and defeating the dreaded White Witch. Furthermore, the Pevensies were gifted with a magical item that defined their character and virtues, something that Dungeon Master's adventurers quickly caught up on. Of course, both parties became friends with one another, and Dungeon Master himself would see them as valuable allies, even if his own methods and cryptic messages were seen as lukewarm by the Pevensies and Aslan as they figured that even if he meant well about saving his world, Dungeon Master still risked the kids in a very perilous journey. Regardless, both groups are eager to hang out and learn more about each other, with Susan and Hank taking turns to improve their archery and leadership skills, Edmund and Eric feeling that they're quite similar and the latter being willing to teach some swordplay to the latter, Peter being open to the idea of looking after them should they ever stumble across each other as well as making sure to at least mentor Presto and Sheila in improving their confidence and self-worth, and Lucy being more than open to just befriend and help the kids in general as well as offering them any medical help whenever possible. Aslan personally respects the kids, but also makes a point to look after and protect them as the sextet does remind him of his appointed kings and queens of Narnia, but also because he's a residential deity of the Forgotten Realms as well, taking on the name of Nobanion.
  • The kids were familiar with Dungeons & Dragons to some degree, though being in that particular world doesn't necessarily make them fans as Eric would like to point out. Regardless, their exploits caught the attention of a group of kids from Hawkins, Indiana, who were huge fans of D&D and used labels from the game to identify a couple of stuff that was normally eldritch by the standards of the 1980s. The kids from Hawkins even assigned themselves to particular class roles, unlike the Dungeon Master's appointed, whom he took to assigning himself. Hank and his party were perplexed by the fact that Mike Wheeler's group was very much like a D&D campaign, only a bit freakier and crazy, as proven by the actions of a secret conspiracy that involved granting kids psychic powers, access to an alternate world, and a being that the kids describe as the "Mind Flayer". The two groups found a few things to share and relate to and admit that after everything they've been through, they just want to relax and be at peace. Dungeon Master came to see Mike's Party as a brave and capable team who were able to overcome their odds, and regardless of whether they needed the help of others, they were a worthy bunch of kids. On the teams' end, Mike, Will, Dustin, and Lucas were geeked at the idea of being friends with literal D&D characters while Max and Eleven were more than welcome to be in their company as well as help them out. As far as Hank is concerned, the more friends, the more their chances of being comfortable in the Pantheon.
  • Thanks to the actions of Venger and Tiamat, the kids are more than well aware of how it feels to deal with evil overlords and evil dragons. While those two certainly remain their most personal foes, they're not too happy with the fact that they have to deal with similar beings like Ganondorf, Sauron, Malekith, Grima, and Fatalis. In fact, those beings ended up scaring the kids more than they had expected thanks to the frightening scope of their actions, powers, and consequences, with Fatalis personally feeling the scariest to the kids. While someone like Ganon, Sauron, and Malekith were more indifferent to the kids and placed their focus on more powerful and personal foes, Fatalis made an active attempt to antagonize and attack everything to sees, pertaining to its misanthropic nature and desire to raze everything to the ground and those kids were no exception, with the dragon trying to kill them the moment it laid its eyes on the kids simply trying to travel through the House of Nature. Finally, the kids can at least try to negotiate with Tiamat as they've done that once before, but no such luck exists for the hateful Elder Dragon and as a result, they'll do anything they can to avoid encountering Fatalis. On the plus side, the sextet's experiences with those sorts of villains have led them to discover and befriend all sorts of heroes from another world, though they've made it clear that whoever they're fighting against is not for them to deal with, which did come off as understanding as not only are they kids, but they're also too caught up with saving other lives and lands just as much.
  • There are some claims that the kids would eventually return to Earth but said sources are said to be rather dubious. In one of the said claims, the kids were escaping from Venger and Tiamat and received help from Dungeon Master... who was riding a Renault KWID Outsider, of all things, and driving the kids back to their home world safely. Additionally, they would also figure out that Venger was actually Dungeon Master's son and would even be redeemed, but nothing has been said much on that matter either. Even so, the party was young adults when they participated in the High Sun Games so it seems they've been in another world for years. The Pantheon only ended up making things more complicated in they retained their teenage looks and demeanor, but at the very least, it's the closest they have to being back on Earth, even if it seems to be an amalgamation of sorts. Though they do think making their way back with the help of a car is pretty cool and funny, as unlikely as that ever would be.
  • Although he was a capable leader and would do what he must for his friends, Hank does feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of threats and troubles he's had to deal with. He's since become a little agitated and upset over the matter as his desire to return to Earth has become increasingly stressful and there's even a looming thought that he might see himself being more at home in the magical world he's stranded in, and furthermore, he thinks that he's barely got any moment to engage in different hobbies and activities other than to practice his archery skills and hope they're refined enough to protect himself and his friends. The Pantheon might have alleviated some of his stress, considering he technically could be on Earth, but the feeling isn't any different. Being a ranger meant that he had a responsibility to fill out, something that Aragorn took notice of, given his own tenure as a ranger before and during his time as a member of the Fellowship. The two bonded rather well and the now-King of Gondor believed that Hank is a great man and leader, regardless of what he thinks of himself. Similar sentiments have been shared by other warriors and knights such as King Arthur and Marth who feel that Hank deserves to see his goal fulfilled and are willing to help him.
    • On the subject of archery, Hank personally isn't too invested in participating in the Hall of Projectiles. Even if he desires to improve the proficiency of his weaponry and its magical capabilities, Hank states that this was a given weapon based on his class more than anything based on desire and the fact that the bow and arrow possess magical properties means that he may as well also visit the House of Magic and Sorcery to see if there are any more ways to use his weapon in different ways. Several ascended archers are admittedly impressed by the versatility provided by Hank's bow and a bit surprised that he hasn't really killed anyone with them, though Hank states that this is because he doesn't want to use his arrows for lethal purposes. His responsibility, desire to help, and willingness to better himself won the respect of Doctor Strange, a magical superhero who also found himself in situations where he traveled to other worlds. Strange is interested in looking into the properties of Hank's bow and is open to the idea of seeing if the young boy can expand upon the types of arrows he could use and recommending him to seek other archers like Hawkeye, Green Arrow, and Legolas if he wants to be mentored by someone in mastering his archery, something that Hank greatly appreciated.
  • Diana the Acrobat has a double meaning regarding her title; she is also a high school gymnasium champion, though whether Dungeon Master also knew about Diana's previous accomplishments on Earth is a mystery. That said, her talents don't change the fact that she started off rather lacking when it came to camaraderie and working together with others, so one of her goals during her quest in a dark magical world is to find a way to overturn this flaw and become a dependable and reliable party member who could be trusted. Even so, she is happy to see that the Pantheon has given her another opportunity to practice her former hobby, being a frequent visitor of the Houses of School and Sports to compete against fellow sports competitors to prove her skill and finesse. Alongside more mundane challenges that she enjoyed, she became friends with Makie Sasaki after playing against each other in a volleyball match and complimented each other's playing skills and the latter's willingness to place faith and support in others further won Diana over regarding their respect and friendship. Diana would appreciate individuals known for their acrobatics and athleticism like Faith Connors and Nightwing, hoping to one day be just as good as them and also befriended Kim Possible, albeit more so because of their circumstances of being too pressured into being involved in larger-than-life events. Kim was a bit taken aback by the severity of Diana's situation, but nevertheless still appreciated her sass and tenacity, even finding her javelin to be cool and radical. Both girls are eager to hang out with each other as well as Kim being willing to see if she can help Diana in a few situations if Kim can make the time.
  • Eric is often seen as the least popular member of the group mainly because of his insistence on complaining about their circumstances, cowering in fear whenever there's a massive threat ahead of him, and generally being the team's resident jerk. Regardless, he's more heroic and self-sacrificing than he appears to be; anytime his friends, but especially Bobby and Uni are in harm's way, Eric is usually the first to step in and protect them. It helps that he has a shield that helps him create a force field around him and the other kids to help protect themselves against their enemies and whatever hazards get in their way. Also, he's surprisingly pretty good at laying traps, though he hardly uses them, instead prioritizing defense and safety above anything else. His cynicism was what got him to bond with Edmund and they can understand how they quickly had to mature. Even if more mature warriors and cavaliers like Alm, Tyrion, and Prince Adam can get annoyed by his complaints, Eric can still prove himself to be impressive under the right circumstances. Conversely, his trapping skills caught the attention of the Monster Hunters who were open to inviting Eric to their company, hoping that his skills could be applied to their daily job of hunting monsters, though they also understood that Eric being a teen who simply is trying to survive and they'll simply just trying to see if they can help the boy and his friends out instead when it comes to dealing with particular beasts and monsters they'd have trouble with.
  • Presto being in the Mage class is incredibly evocative of the fact that he's a smart kid, but also rather unconfident and nervous about his situation and his self-worth. Though he wouldn't admit it openly, he's actually the one who has benefitted the most in being transported to another world, one where his talents and skills could be honed and applied to a lot of situations if he could master them, though he would still respect the party's decision of wanting to return home and finally give themselves a rest after all they've been through. His desire to improve his self-worth has won him respect and sympathy from the Hall of Courage and Virtue and he's happy to see that he could find a few people who could mentor him in his personal goal of improving his confidence. Of course, being a mage means he would run into a number of magicians, mages, and wizards like Merlin, Teclis, and Harry Potter, all of whom see Presto as a boy with a lot of potential, and Harry admits that Presto reminds him of Neville Longbottom, who also faced a big problem with self-esteem and talent before he would eventually better his talents and prove his worth in the future. On a personal note, Presto had a rather Odd Friendship with Akko Kagari as both of them can relate to having issues in properly using their spells, in Presto's case being that his spells are completely random and can equally either benefit or endanger him, though Akko recommends that he seek some advice and mentoring from her personal mentor and idol, Ursula Callistis, who was more than welcome to help the boy put in his practice, even if Ursula admits that the nature of his magic is something she would have difficulty dealing with.
  • Sheila's class role as a thief is rather misleading; she's not really interested in stealing things and her main strength instead comes from two things; her Cloak of Invisibility and her ability and inspire and nurture others into becoming better people, though the cloak would be a great equipment to have for any thief. Sheila instead uses her cloak to hide away from danger and trick attacks into hitting themselves, but there's also the misfortune of having said ability associated with her personality, namely that she is a shy and introverted girl who often worries about her younger brother and, ironically, is afraid of being alone. She still faces these doubts, even when told that she is braver and more capable than she gives credit for, but that doesn't change Sheila from still being unsure about herself and if she'll ever return home. Her shyness and her ability to turn invisible caught the attention of Violet Part, a teenage superheroine with similar issues regarding shyness and loneliness as well as being able to turn herself invisible as part of her natural powers. They quickly connected with each other and became good friends, thanks to Sheila being empathetic about Violet's issues and realizing they could help each other out in ways their other friends would have trouble doing so.
    • Despite her shyness and doubts, Sheila is actually a very good motivator for her party and provides them with a sense of optimism and moral support. Having a little brother to look after does play a role in maturity and responsibility after all and she admits to enjoying the company that's provided by the Hall of Siblings, even if she struggles to engage in talking to others most of the time. Her greater role in her team is similar to that of Steven Universe, a boy who had similar adventures in a magical world and served as a team moral compass, and both greatly got along, with Steven being more than eager to help Sheila out in bettering her social confidence as well as getting her party to finally make it back to their home. On the other hand, Sheila has an understanding of how upsetting loneliness can be and manages to sympathize with the Skull Kid after learning that he just wanted friends and would regret the trouble and disaster he caused in Termina when he was possessed by a mask known as Majora. Skull Kid has yet to reciprocate Sheila's perspective of him but does often wish that he had a similar group of friends as she does.
  • Bobby might be the youngest of the group, but he's also the one who is most proud of his class as a barbarian and is the most eager to engage in combat against others, a stark contrast to his older sister who is more reserved and shy as well as mainly being evasive in battle. Furthermore, Bobby has a club that can cause earthquakes, making him a strange case of being the physically strongest member despite clearly being the team's youngster. Of course, Bobby's enjoyment of a fight means he likes going to the House of Fighting and Combat just to see if he can test his might against a willing combatant, much to Sheila's annoyance, though he is advised not to cause too many quakes, which, in turn, frustrated Bobby as he feels that there are some fighters that might be too strong to fight without his special abilities. On the subject of barbarians, Bobby very much likes Conan and aspires to be like him someday, plus he also finds Sigmar to be the definition of a model ruler; badass like a barbarian yet still a cool and likable ruler. Being a kid, he still has an underdeveloped sense of maturity and, as a result, is easily capable of developing grudges, especially against those who harm Sheila and Uni. Thorgrim Grudgebearer managed to pick up on that trait and, for once, worries that someone so young shouldn't be so worked up on making grudges like him. This feeling was mutual for the party upon learning of the kind of dwarfs Thorgrim led, feeling that while they may have similar threats to deal with and Thorgrim means we'll in defending his kind and the Pantheon at large, his obsession with grudges and their insistence for retribution, no matter how small, make a possible alliance difficult.
  • Uni sticks out like a sore thumb, even as the residential Team Pet of the team. Not only is she the only one native to the magical realms, being a unicorn and all, but she's also just there for company. Regardless, she's just as much of a companion, being very close to Eric, Sheila, and Bobby and being willing to protect her friends, even if she can come across as annoying a lot of the time. Despite being seemingly ordinary for a unicorn, Uni has the ability to teleport… which is more of a double-edged sword than anything. She can get her friends out to safety for it, or she'll end up being in an entirely different place, as on one such occasion, she was trying to escape a threat, only to teleport and sporadically find herself in Equestria, namely in the royal halls where Princess Celestia and her sister, Princess Luna, who were just as confused as to what sort of unicorn foal they were dealing with. It took a while before the alicorn princesses got to understand Uni and her predicament and would even enlist the aid of the Mane Six once they too learned about Uni. In a case of a random teleporting incident working well for the unicorn foal, Uni was able to get Celestia, Luna, and the Mane Six to their realm and get them to meet with Dungeon Master's party, who were in the middle of dealing with an invading Deviljho. It took a lot of effort to get everyone away from the Brute Wyvern, but given they survived such a terrifying beast, they were incredibly thankful to Uni for being of help and the alicorns would come to respect and hang out with the kids, even offering them a place to stay in Equestria as a way to let them rest and get comfy after traveling and surviving threats in the wilds for so long. Since then, the kids (and Uni) are grateful for the alicorns and the latter are more than welcome to see if they can provide any more opportunities to help.

  • The Go-Getters Club were a group of twelve (originally 11) sixth grade elementary school misfits who were on a field trip when they get caught in a meteor impact and knocked out, waking up to find themselves in an underwater theme park where they are forced to play the Game of Fate by a mechanical mascot named Pielope. After Reycho wins the game and gets everyone out of there, they find the surface no longer what it used to be with abandoned buildings and strange monsters, leading the club to vow to get Tokyo to find out what happened. Joined by an amnesiac girl they named Yuki, the Go-Getters Club would discover the existence of MAIK, an Artificial Intelligence that has subjugated humanity and stripped them of their emotions, all the while encountering dangers from the monsters that roam the land, a cult that worships MAIK, and a vindictive Pielope. After almost reaching Tokyo, the Go-Getters Club would discover that Reycho and Pochi were actually robots created by MAIK for the purpose of spying on them, with Reycho also being remote-controlled robot operated by Pochi. Although their relationship with is briefly strained, the Go-Getters still go to Pochi's when he's captured by MAIK's robots, after which they meet MAIK, who reveals that he intends to turn the kids into humanity's "shepherds" or else he will kill them all. Instead, the Go-Getters track him down with the Otherworlder (the player themselves), rescue Vanilla (who has been in a comatose state after getting hit by a truck and has spent the rest of the journey as an astral body), Reycho (who gets rebuild and reprogrammed to be an attack robot, only to gain self-awareness thanks to the Go-Getters), and Yuki (who is revealed to be a sub-personality of MAIK representing its desire to befriend humanity), and finally erase MAIK's personality, freeing humanity from its thrall.
  • The Go-Getters Club, after finally freeing humanity from the clutches of MAIK and saving their friends, get a surprised from a god from the Pantheon inviting them to become Gods of Returning to the Place that Started their Journey. The Court of the Gods took interest in their tale after hearing of how it started and ended at the same place. While some of the members are reluctant and wary after everything they've gone through, the club eventually agreed to it after hearing they'll still be able to go about their daily lives in their world in addition to making new discoveries. Reycho, Vanilla, and Yuki were probably the most excited to go, while Pochi is shocked to find out the Otherworlder that helped them all is residing within the Pantheon and becomes eager to meet them face to face. The rest of the club agree to join them due to trusting their judgement and wanting to expand their boundaries, marveling at the sights.
  • Exclusive to multiple members of the club:
    • Jennu can be seen attending the House of Theatre and Spectacle due to her love of the Hosekizuka Acting Trope. Kansai goes to the House of Sports due to his love of baseball. Mowchan goes to the House of Food to sample their wares. Nyoro is usually studying at the House of Science. Pochi tends to go the House of Gaming to try out new games. Tattsun, as Electro Ranger Black, can be seen going to the Grand United Alliance of Good to show his qualities as a Tokusatsu-based hero.
    • When a lot of deities heard about Pochi and Nyoro's interest in one another, there was plenty of gossip among them. This relationship attracted the positive attention of Kosmo and Nova, another human and robot pairing who fell in love with each other, even for all their faults. Then there is also WALL•E and EVE, two robots that fell in love with one another, who also felt fond of Pochi and Nyoro getting together. Zenyatta saw their relationship as proof that robots can live alongside humans. There were plenty of deities who liked seeing the memory of Pochi being kissed on the cheek by Nyoro, though Mowchan wasn't quite happy with this since he was also attracted to Nyoro, curling up into an iron ball while being comforted by the other members of the Go-Getters Club.
    • Fellow gamers 9-Volt And 18-Volt became quick friends with Pochi, introducing Pochi to many games developed by Nintendo. One time they accidentally pick up his game console thinking it was their own, and although Recyho has become self-aware, the console still controls him remotely, leading to some hilarious moments. The two gamers would feel bad after realizing what the "console" actually and actually apologized to Pochi and Reycho for their actions, with the two quickly sweeping it under the rug, though Pochi still makes sure to disconnect the controller to Reycho to avoid repeating this incident.
    • The Club understandably don't like Junko Enoshima due to how she ruined her school as well as the world for fun, noting that her overall goal is the exact opposite of MAIK's. Junko on the other hand is pragmatic enough to not target the kids directly, considering how they managed save humanity's emotions in their world, and emotions are what cause her to feel pleasure from despair. Because of this, Junko prefers to stay in the background and manipulate events to get them to face beings capable of erasing emotion, like Nerose Satanael.
      • Speaking of Nerose, the Go-Getters Club strongly oppose his methods to make a better world, stating that being happy at the cost of free will is barely any better than getting rid of emotions entirely. As they state, all emotions have a purpose are necessary to be human, so only having one specific emotion over everything else means they aren't truly human. Unfortunately for them, Nerose is far more powerful than MAIK, so they will need some help and well-thought out plan, and it's only because Nerose sees the children as naive that he isn't targetting them.
    • The House of Emotion, especially the emotions that dwell within Riley's psyche, show great respect for the Club after they helped restore humanity's emotions. They were also greatly surprised to find out that a souless machine like Reycho managed to become self-aware, which led them to praising the Club's strong friendship together in making that possible. Mesprit, the Legendary Pokémon representing emotion, also praises the Go-Getters Club for their heroic deeds in saving their world's emotions, and her fellow Guardians Uxie and Azelf were also impressed by Reycho's loyalty to the club to the point of becoming self-aware.
    • The Straw Hat Pirates were a team of True Companions whose love for their ship caused the Going Merry to develop a spirit of loyalty towards them, though it soon meet their destruction. Reycho ends up being a foil to the Going Merry in several ways, in that Reycho was destroyed and rebuild first before becoming self-aware, and he actually gets to live instead of dying. The Straw Hats praised the Club for their strength and friendship allowing them to stay together and even save each other in the worst of times.
    • The one sore spot that the members of the Go-Getters Club share (except for Reycho) is being reminded of the time they kicked Pochi out for being The Mole despite him helping them throughout their adventure. The Club is notably ashamed of themselves, even though Pochi has forgiven them and instead feels sorry for lying to them in the first place. Notably, a lot of villains want to use this to their advantage to taunt the Club for being a terrible friend to Pochi, even when the latter puts a stop to it.
    • The Iron Giant quickly became friends with Reycho, Pochi, and Yuki after learning of their origins as robots created by MAIK yet rejecting their plans for humanity and becoming friends and allies to them instead. The three in turn were stunned by the giant robot at first but became quick friends with him after seeing how gentle and peaceful he is. Reycho in turn saw the Giant as a kindred due to how they Grew Beyond Their Programming and became self-aware due to their friendship with humans.
  • Exclusive to Reycho:
    • Reycho, ever since he became self-aware, has met and befriended other robots that Grew Beyond Their Programming and/or became more human as a result. Robo, Android 16, and the Vision were robots created to hurt humans or specific targets, but grew to become friends with humanity instead. Bastion grew fond of Reycho due to growing independent of MAIK's will and becoming his own person. Android 16 notes that even though he still feels compelled to kill Goku, his desire to protect life outweighs his programming and leads him to cooperate with Goku instead, leading him to admit that Reycho may be superior to him in that regard since he started out as a blank slate.
  • Exclusive to Vanilla:
    • Vanilla found a kindred spirit in Raj due to the fact they both like to eat marshmallows, to the point it's their Trademark Favorite Food. Raj has invited Vanilla and her friends to Camp Kidney to roast marshmallows from time to time. Vanilla has shown eagerness to do so.
    • Vanilla is not fond of Gozer, mainly for taking the form of a marshmallow mascot in order to destroy Earth. She likes them even less after learning of how they created minions based on the marshmallow mascot, most of whom are willing to kill and cook themselves, something that disturbs even her. Gozer in turn only sees her as a lesser being with an interesting power.
  • Exclusive to Pochi:
    • Pochi is an X-Type, someone who can make contact the Otherworlder (in his case, he can actually speak to and hear the Otherworlder), allowing him to gather information from other timelines. He uses this ability to learn of a timeline where he and his friends were killed, allowing him to make a different choice to get his friends out of danger. The Otherworlder was also able to help Pochi pinpoint Vanilla's location when her life is in danger, leading the Go-Getters Club back to the place where there adventure started. This allowed Pochi to meet with other deities with similar powers to be aware of alternate timelines.
      • Sans, who is aware of other timelines and the existence of an Anomaly who can SAVE and LOAD to alter the flow of time, has been depressed and lazy due to the fact that the timeline resets everytime and renders his efforts All for Nothing. Because of this, the most he can resort is try to be as an unfair to the Anomaly as possible to get them to Rage Quit. Pochi is genuinely sympathetic towards Sans' plight, but still notes that he's able to at least enjoy the time he's got thanks to Frisk's efforts from a more benevolent Anomaly.
      • Clockwork has been nothing but congragulations to give to Pochi for being able to create a secure timeline, noting how much Pochi reminds him of Danny when he saw the potentially Bad Future he could take and instead choose a better path. Pochi in turn is honored by Clockwork's praise and hopes Danny will finally be able to avoid his Bad Future compeltely.
      • Mr. Resetti once upon a time would have yelled at cheaters who would Save Scum, but in case of those who do it for benevolent purposes, he just simply gives them a warning to be careful. Now, Mr. Resetti seems to actually support the reset button, believing it could help fix some screw-ups someone made in life. Pochi's case was a good example of this as it allowed him to avoid leading his friends to their deaths.
      • The Doctor is rather cordial with Pochi, noting his Leaning on the Fourth Wall abilities help him to prevent dangerous futures. Pochi is rather perplexed by the Time Lord's eccentrics but is honored to meet someone like him all the same. The Doctor has offered the Go-Getters Club trips through time and space on the TARDIS.
    • Meanwhile, other more malicious deities with world-ending plans may fear he could spill their secrets if the otherworlder learned of the plot and was able to communicate it to Pochi. Dark Danny has dealt with something similar, getting annoyed by interferences from Clockwork, and intends to find a way to destroy Pochi in a timeline where his power cannot benefit him. Boris the Animal sees Pochi as the biggest threat to his plans after learning of his powers as an X-Type, seeking to destroy his connection to the Otherworlder to prevent any interference.
    • Pochi is genuinely sympathetic towards Flowey after hearing of his past, especially after he managed to temporarily regain his soul and emotions and has to give that up to free monsters from the Underground. He hopes that the Otherworlder will be able to give him information that could permeantly restore Flowey to his original self as Asriel. Flowey in turn is cynical of Pochi's approach, considering that he has a similar power but hasn't found any solution at all.
    • Pochi has met other deities who interacted with Insert Name Here, namely Monika, White Face, and Niko. He got along very well with Niko and became good friends with them, since the two were kind-hearted people who can communicate with Insert Name Here, though Pochi hearing about Niko's Crisis of Faith leads him to sympathize with the child. Meeting White Face and experiencing his power his power firsthand filled Pochi with so much dread that Pochi tries to keep himself and his friends away from him as much as possible. When Pochi heard about Monika and what she's done to her fellow Literature Club members for the sake of meeting the player, he's understandably disturbed, but does feel some sympathy for her due to how she reacted to being in a game. While she's no longer causing trouble, Pochi still remains conflicted about her.
  • Exclusive to Nyoro:
    • Nyoro tends to visit the House of Science due to her love for the subject. There she gets along with scientists that take up residence in the house, especially the likes Professor Utonium (who reminds her of her father), Dexter, Jimmy Neutron, Lewis Anthnio (all boy geniuses in the making who can create complicated gadgets), and Senku Ishigami (a young scientist who also woke up in a different world and had to survive in it, albeit without complicated machines). Because of her expertise in science and mathematics, as well as her determination (her catchphrase is "I'll never give up!", and the one thing that'll rile her up is someone saying give up), Nyoro is considered an honorary member of the House of Science, and thus is welcomed anytime.
  • Exclusive to Mowchan:
    • Mowchan has taken a part-time job in the House of Food, working alongside other chefs such as Gordon Ramsey, Toriko, Komatsu Sanji, and Ignis. Sanji has heard of Mowchan's crush on Nyoro and has encouraged him not to give up on winning her heart, even if Pochi has her affections instead. Komatsu quickly became friends with Mowchan, offering to teach how to make gourmet meals and listen to the "food's spirit" to better prepare them.
  • Exclusive to Chuko:
    • Chuko came to see Stella as a kindred spirit and Cool Big Sis, mainly because of their fiery tempers and their relationship with their crushes. The two girls tend to hang out with each other, discussing their lives and their relationships, with Chuko showing surprise about Stella's growth as a person and wondering if she'll change like that growing up.
  • Exclusive to Tattsun:
    • Tattsun having always been a fan of Sentai shows, got to become one in life as a result of awakening his Buddy Skill. Because of this, Tattsun was overjoyed to meet the Power Rangers, Kamen Riders, and Super Sentais. He can usually be found in the Toku Base of the GUAG, speaking with other Sentai heroes and practicing his moves with them.
  • Exclusive to Kansai:
    • Kansai has befriended fellow baseball batters like The Scout/Jeremy and Junpei of S.E.E.S. The latter two have invited Kansai to some diners and practice baseball. However, Kansai would soon cross paths with Dokuro Mitsuki, actually showing fear when she attacks perverts (real or imangined) with gruesome violence. Hearing that she does this constantly to a boy she likes while resurrecting him every time actually unsettles him, noting that Chuko, abrasive as she may be, would never resort to such things.
  • Exclusive to Pai:
    • Being the granddaughter of a Shinto Priest, Pai is able to ghosts or other spirits cannot see. This allowed her to meet and befriend ghosts from the House of Ghosts, namely Casper, Reimi, and Yuyuko. Of course, Pai has also come across more terrifying ghosts such as Hisako, Sadako, and Kayako, all of whom have tried to kill her for their own reasons. Half-Ghosts like Danny Phantom and Erma Williams have earned Pai's confusion and curiosity, especially in the latter's case since she has a ghost mother and human father.
    • Becomes close friends with Erica Fontaine after the two saw many of their similarities. The two kind-hearted girls take the time to discuss their interests and hang out together in the Pantheon. Erica also picks up Pai's crush on Aniki and shows herself to be quite supportive, even if her attempts to help are clumsy.
  • Exclusive to Aniki:
    • Aniki got along very well with Beat due to their loyalty towards their younger sisters, which also led him to befriend Neku since they also suffered from a past traumatic event involving a close person in their lives dying by a car, leading them to close themselves off before their friends can open them up again. This has helped Aniki to start opening his horizons slowly over time, especially when Pai starts encouraging him. A lot of deities have compared Aniki and Pai's relationship with Neku and Shiki's (with the exception that it's only implied the latter pair's case) and actually think the two look good together.
  • Exclusive to Jennu:
    • Jennu tends to go to the House of Theatre and Spectacle due to her love of the Hosekizuka Troupe (her world's equivalent of Takarazuka Revue. She is very passionate of the Troupe to the point she gushes if someone else knows about it and will pick fights with anyone who insults it.
    • Shows great sympathy for Ken due to the fact he held resentment for someone he blamed for a loved one's death, only to move on and find peace with that person. Jennu was saddened after hearing of how Ken's mother was killed by accident and the killer was willing to accept being killed by Ken, only to end up saving Ken at the cost of his life, leading Ken to honor his memory instead. Ken admits he finds himself envious of Jennu, since she was able to save Niyan despite her resentment and actually find peace with her sister's death, admitting he wish he could save Shinjiro and find peace with it.
  • Exclusive to Yuki:
    • Became good friends with Iris.EXE and Roll, the two girls being allies of humanity and kind-hearted robots who quickly accepted Yuki as a friend. Iris in particular found Yuki to be a kindred spirit, both being a Literal Split Personality of an A.I. that went against their purpose, both wanting to be friends with specific people and showing their compassion for others. Yuki was saddened to hear that Iris sacrificed herself to save people's lives, but Iris was content with the decision if it meant preventing more destruction, and instead encourages Yuki to be happy she gets to live and be with her friends.

  • Conflicting Opinions: Yubaba, Yukari Yakumo
  • Fears: Dovahkiin
  • Chihiro is a young girl who once went through a tunnel, crossing over into the spirit realm where humans generally do not tread upon. There, she saw her parents turning into pigs due to eating the spirits' food. In order to survive and get her parents back to normal, she had to get a job in a bathhouse under a mean old witch and was almost stripped of her name, becoming Sen. With the help of Haku, a river spirit, and some other spirits sympathetic to her plight, Chihiro achieved her goals, became a better person in the process, and went back to the material world with her parents.
  • Seeing Chihiro's adventures and travails, as well as the classic status of her tale, the Main House determined that she was the best replacement for the position left vacant by Alice when she took up another trope. After approving her ascension, Chihiro was flown in by Haku.
  • Another deity who was strongly considered for Chihiro's position was Coraline. Coraline ultimately was given Curiosity Is a Crapshoot, which she's completely fine with as she doesn't feel strongly about having one over the other. She and Chihiro have become good friends due to their similar adventures giving them a lot to talk about. They even make a good Tomboy and Girly Girl duo (Chihiro isn't that girly but Coraline is clearly more tomboy than her) and a Town Girls trio with Alice.
    • Chihiro stands alongside Coraline in opposing the Beldam. Chihiro can't forgive how the spider monster imprisoned Coraline's parents to force her to stay with her forever, besides the fact that she gives a bad name to nice spiders like her friend Kamaji.
  • Haku himself isn't officially in the Pantheon but he could go in and out as he pleased even before Chihiro ascended due to already having a divine nature in the first place. Since her ascension, he's been made into her Herald.
  • Chihiro is strongly associated with Eastern dragons due to crossing paths with two of them and helping them when they were in need. This was pivotal in her journey since it helped prove her worth to the spirits and got her rewarded in ways that would prove very helpful in the long run. Also, Haku is actually one of these dragons. Because of this, she has a great affinity with the inhabitants of the Hall of Draconic Beings, who're grateful to her for helping some of their numbers. It's also secured her an alliance with Daenerys Targaryen due to her family being traditionally connected to dragons. Ironically the dragons that Chihiro helped are river spirits, which means they're associated with water instead of fire.
    • Chihiro also fears the dragons' common enemies Acnologia, not only because of his indiscriminate hatred of all dragons, but also because she can't stand to think of what might happen to her beloved Haku if they meet each other. She originally feared the Dovahkiin for the same reason, until he assured her he had no interest in slaying peaceful dragons. She still finds him kind of scary though.
    • She was surprised that there were few actual Eastern dragons in the Pantheon; instead of the benevolent spirits from her home, most dragons in the Pantheon are more along the lines of savage beasts. She found Mushu mostly a disappointment because of his unpleasant personality.
  • The entrance to her temple does indeed resemble the tunnel that brought her to the spirit world. Don't worry though; it won't cause visitors to cross over. Meanwhile the actual temple was built to look like the bathhouse she worked in, including the employees' accommodations where she sleeps in, but much smaller (it's only one story) since Chihiro doesn't require a lot of space.
  • Chihiro had the pleasant surprise of meeting with No Face, who ascended before her. She is happy that he is living a happy life in the Pantheon but the fact he is living in the House of Emotion worries her and she tries to keep him away from the House of Hatred at all costs. But as much as Chihiro keeps him away, that doesn't stop some of its inhabitants from seeking No Face out, such as Yuuki Terumi and the rest of the Trollkaiger, who love the idea of No Face going berserk because of being corrupted by bad emotions. Even though Chihiro's adventures gave her a lot of patience when faced with harrowing circumstances, Terumi is one of the few people to really try it with his trolling.
    • She also tries to keep No Face away from the House of Commerce lest the feeling of greed permeating the place corrupt him, exactly like what happened in the spirits' bathhouse when No Face gave gold to the workers.
  • Chihiro really dislikes Perfectio a lot, viewing him as an Evil Counterpart of No Face, sucking the despair from others and hopes her friend doesn't become like that.
  • Chihiro has some experience dealing with evil witches because of her employer Yubaba. However, Yubaba could be somewhat reasonable and wasn't all that bad. The same can't be said about the likes of Baba Yaga, who's very interested in making a meal out of Chihiro.
  • Is pretty good friends with all the other Ghibli deities, immediately liking Totoro for being a friendly spirit and relating to Satsuki and Mei's own adventures with him. She was at first worried when she heard that Kiki was a witch... worries that were forgotten the moment Kiki turned out to be a young girl trying to make her way through the world just like her.
  • Due to their adventures beginning through a random tunnel/hole/well/whatever, Chihiro relates to Dorothy Gale, Barbarella, Kagome Higurashi, Miaka Yuuki and Miyuki-chan but can't help but feel a little weirded out when she's around the latter. Sora is also included because of his adventures across many unknown worlds (which started in Alice's world, very appropriately). And since he sounds like Haku and has countless friends, Chihiro trusted him immediately. Gertrude also became an ally to her after hearing of her plight, becoming a in name only big sister of sorts to Chihiro, offering to deal with anyone trying to give her a hard time. While Chihiro really doesn't like the idea of her getting violent, she sometimes calls on her whenever some deities try to corrupt No Face, namely Trollkaiger.
  • Chihiro gets along with the Yōkai in the Pantheon because of her experience with similar beings and the fact that they aren't as weird as them (perhaps because a good number adopts human forms and mannerisms) helps.
    • Though she is wary of Yukari Yakumo, who she has been told that she's kind of trollish and wonders if it was her that dragged her into that hotel (and the Pantheon) for shit-and-giggles.
  • Chihiro's parents turning into pigs due to overeating on spirit food was what forced Chihiro to slave away in a spirit bathhouse in the first place. This has lead to Chihiro thinking the House of Food too good to be true and she usually avoids it unless she really needs to eat. (Usually Kiki delivers food to her, so that's rarely a problem.)

    George of the Jungle
George of the Jungle, God of High Speed Collisions With Idle Objects
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/George_of_the_Jungle.jpg
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Him plastered into a tree
  • Theme Song: George of the Jungle Theme Song
  • Alignment: Stupid Good
  • Portfolio: Affectionate Parody of Tarzan, Three Types Of Hero (Nature, Idiot and Orphan), Vine Swinging, Phrase Catcher for "Watch Out for That Tree!", Lantern Jaw of Justice, Hulk Speak, Malaproper, Charles Atlas Superpower, Literal-Minded
  • Domains: Jungle, Swinging, Collision, Idiocy
  • High Priest: Ugh
  • Heralds: Ape (his best friend) and Ursula (his wife).
  • Allies: Tarzan, Mowgli, Daisuke Yamamoto/Kamen Rider Amazon, Sora, Donald Duck, Goofy, Rainbow Dash, King Kong, Caesar, Donkey Kong, Hareta
  • Enemies: Dick Dastardly, Hexxus, Flint Marko\Sandman, Imhotep
  • Opposes: Pirates
  • Annoyed by Him: The House of Plants
  • It was a peaceful day in the House of Nature when suddenly a familiar yell rang out. It was supposed to sound like Tarzan's, except it wasn't quite, and the wild man himself was on the ground conversing (in private) with Sora and his friends about something. When the yell was abruptly stopped by a collision, which happened to be right above their location, Tarzan finished that his follower, George of the Jungle was going to be ascended. Donald Duck comments that he must have lost his way, and the four decide to help him to the Court of the Gods for his proper ascension process.
    • In the end, his new title means he must move out of the House of Nature and to the House of Travel. George bid goodbye to Tarzan with a goofy smile before taking off. He still visits from time to time, though.
  • Doesn't know why exactly Dick Dastardly rubs him the wrong way. Maybe it's because he looks like one of his old nemeses "Tiger" Titherage, who looks like Terry-Thomas, who was also the inspiration for Dastardly.
  • The House of Plants doesn't appreciate his shenanigans when he's around, as his constant collisions into trees are harming them (the trees, as some can feel their pain). There was even one time he swung so fast that when he inevitably slammed into a tree, he knocked off an impression of himself from the other side. Oh, and the tree fell down, too.
  • Not being a High Priest anymore enabled George to forge companionships of his own, though they did bring him back to his old place in the Pantheon; the Hall of Nature Preservers under Nature, where he forged kinships with Mowgli and Daisuke Yamamoto/Kamen Rider Amazon. As a matter of fact, he (one rendition, at least) and the latter have similar origins wherein they both got stranded in the jungle after a plane crash during their infancy. He does find some of Amazon's…retaliatory methods extremely disturbing though, and turns away and covers his ears the moment he sees it coming.
  • To his surprise, he once heard someone else crash into a tree, before looking up to see Hareta in nothing more than a pair of baggy shorts land on him. While startled at first, he has quickly grew fond of him and has a great deal of respect for his nature loving ways, trying to teach him how to swing from vine to vine more efficiently. Not that these training sessions tend to go anywhere, but it's the thought that counts.
