    Erma Williams
Erma Williams, Goddess of Creepy Cuties

    Urd
Urd, Goddess of Supernatural Dark Skin (The Exchanger Of Goals And Means, Heaven's 2nd Class Goddess Of Destruction)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tvurd2.jpg
  • Greater Goddess. Higher if she fully embraced her demon side
  • Symbol: Her Facial Markings
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Part Goddess and Demon, Big Sister Instinct, Being OK In Lying, Hard-Drinking Party Girl, Not Wanting To Be Like Her Mother, User Of Fire And Lighting, The Tease, Brilliant, but Lazy, The Alcoholic, Self Proclaimed Love Goddess
  • Domains: Love, Family, Lightning, Fire
  • Herald: World of Elegance (her angel)
  • Allies: Skuld, Belldandy, Aphrodite, Tyr, Tsunade, Akeno Himijima, Bayonetta, Misato Katsuragi, Sicily
  • Enemies: Malebolgia, Satan (Castlevania), The Angels of Paradiso, YHVH
  • Rival: Akuma
  • Opposes: War and Death
  • Urd is the older half-sister of both Belldandy and Skuld. Instead of being a full Goddess like her sisters, she is actually part Goddess and Demon with her parents being their Universe's versions of God and the Devil.
  • Ascended to the Pantheon with Hades Shaded as it represents her darker skin which she inherited from her demon mother. This goes even deeper with her Angel, World of Elegance, this caused her wings and hair to be part white and black. This left a deep complex of her demon root that she tries to deny while focusing on her Goddess side.
  • Despite her reluctance of her demon side, she doesn't actually hate her mother Hild. Even if they do clash from time to time, she genuinely loves her mother. Though, she doesn't dare say it for fear of becoming just like her.
  • Since she is part demon, she inherited the strange weakness of being incapacitated with music of a certain genre. In her case it's enka.
  • Actually sees her self as a "Love Goddess" as she tried to get her sister and Keiichi together. Though, it usually ends up backfiring. When she joined the Pantheon, she tried to do the same with predictable result. (Never Forget Loveageddon)
    • She did have a bit of a problem with Aphrodite who had a issue of her calling herself a "Love Goddess" Thankfully nothing bad happened and the two were able to get along pretty well. In fact, she was able to gather some "love essence" out of Aphrodite. (Never Forget Loveageddon Dos)
  • Absolutely loves to drink alcohol which doubles as her energy source. She was delighted when she entered Bacchus' Bar and Grill and saw all the different kinds of alcohol. She was also able to make drinking buddies with Tsunade and Misato Katsuragi.
  • Heard rumors about the Sparda twins in that they were both angel/devil hybrids. Sadly, she learned they were only half devils. She also attempted to get to know both the Nephilim of War and Death when she learned they were actually devil/angel hybrids. But she thought twice when she learned they and their other Horsemen siblings actually killed the other Nephilims.
  • Encounter Akuma who wanted to challenge her to a fight when he learned she had power that could be equal or greater then her parents. As much as she didn't want to fight him, she didn't have a choice with his agression. And during her fight, she almost unleashed her demon side.
  • Got along greatly with Akeno as the two were able to bound over their mutual issues with their parents and how they still love them. That and their combine "ara ara" charmed could electrified an entire room.
  • Became a big sister type towards Sicily, which includes all of the teasing, when she learned she was part angel and demon. The two were able to bond over the fact that while they did live in the celestial realm, they were put off over the fact they were demons.
  • Heard that Tyr was present in the Pantheon. Believing that he was her father, she went to visit him. Though, it turn out he wasn't her father. But despite that, the Norse deity does act like a father figure.
  • Became friends with Bayonetta after the Witch helped her fend off the Angels of Paradiso who were ordered to eliminate her because of her "defiled" lineage.

Intermediate Gods

    Aloy
Aloy, Goddess of Indifferent Beauties (No. LK-1A1-4510, Aloy of/despite the Nora, Anointed of All-Mother, Alpha Prime of Project Zero Dawn, Huntress)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/2911935_aloy.jpg
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: The Focus Device

  • Allies:

  • Enemies: ARIA, SKYNET, The Enclave, The Think Tank, Handsome Jack, Agent Smith, Sektor, The Illusive Man, Deviljho.
  • Worthy Opponent: Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah
  • The newest of temples is a strange one; a massive forested sancturary the size of Yellowstone Park, with a lodge overlooking the area, complete with plenty of wild game. Oh, and there's the weird-looking machines that roam the place, animal-shaped robots that look peaceful, but just as deadly. And there's the goddess in question: a redheaded woman, armed with a spear and a bow, riding on what appears to be a mechanical horse. Due in part to thwarting what would've been the second extinction, Aloy has ascended to the Pantheon.
  • In the year 2066, the world we knew ended. Mankind, animals, plants, everything. It wasn't global nuclear war, or the dead walking the earth. The planet-wrecking aliens are also in the clear. No, one man and his hubris brought about the end of the world - Theodor 'Ted' Faro, head of Faro Automated Solutions. At this point, Murphy's Law came down upon him with a vengeance when a batch of his hacker-proof, self-replicating, organic-consuming Chariot automatons went haywire and started attacking its masters. Within fifteen months, what would be known as the Faro Plague would wipe out all life on the planet. Good work in kick-starting the apocalypse, Ted.
  • As her title states, she is beautiful and knows it. It's just that she has no time to woo (or be wooed) by either the same or opposite sex, due to her saving her world from a second and permanent extinction. And just being around Hisoka, Johnny and Brannigan makes Aloy's skin crawl to the point she want to unleash the Chariots on those three idiots. Lexa is among several who respects her wishes, Lexa stating that if she "wasn't involved with Clarke, then I'd jump her bones."
  • While they both consider themselves to be mad scientists, Lisesharte Atismata and Dexter were utterly horrified upon hearing from Aloy and seeing the records life behind detailing the Faro Plague and the extinction of all life on Earth. Both swore a promise on their honor as scientists not to make the same mistakes that Ted Faro had done. Tabane Shinonono, on the other hand, believes that Faro didn't do enough to make his machines more lethal, thus showing a lack of humanity, which puts her into the same category as Arthur Maxson.
  • Several of the robo-animals had wondered in the vicinity of Kratos' temple, where they attacked the Spartan and his son. The finesse to match Kratos' brute strength, Aloy and Kratos - with Atreus giving the assist with his Shock Arrows - worked together to restrain the robo-animals. Wholly impressed with Atreus' archery and tracking skills, Aloy occasionally gives the boy pointers on archery and tracking, with Kratos looking on in approval. If Loki...er, Atreus likes her, then for Kratos, it's enough.
  • Both Logan and Laura Kinney are frequent visitors to Aloy's temple/refuge. Logan likes it for the relative peace it brings. Laura likes to hone her hunting skills. And Logan teaches Aloy survival tricks that Rost didn't show her.
    • The bad news is that Cheetah now sees Aloy as prey. But Aloy has the homefield advantage, and sees Cheetah as a high-value target. Sometimes, Cheetah gets the drop on Aloy, while Aloy outsmarts Cheetah. There is a mutual respect between the two, which is why neither won't try and kill the other, a feat which shocks even Cheetah's longtime nemesis, Wonder Woman. It's because both Aloy and Cheetah like the chase.
    • As Artemis is the Goddess of the Hunt (along with her title of Goddess of the Sacred Bow), she visits Aloy's temple to go on the hunt. Natural game? Easy enough. The mechanical beasts? Artemis loves a challenge. Through their love of the hunt, a friendship is born... although Artemis is a tad bit peeved with Aloy being somewhat friends with Kratos. Whenever Artemis comes calling, all male suitors and admirers stay away from Aloy's home. After hearing what she had done to Actaeon when he spied her bathing, discretion is the better part of valor.
  • That little triangle-shaped piece on her right ear? That's no accessory. It's called a Focus, an augmented reality device which serves as a neural interface. It's what also led Aloy to the House of Technology (being recognized as her genetic template, much to her annoyance), where she met Tony Stark and Miranda Lawson, as she was visiting the House when Aloy appeared, the Focus making the House of Technology believing Aloy to being her genetic template. Tony was helpful in getting Aloy to learn about mankind's past before the Faro Plague, while Miranda is sympathetic to Aloy being a clone, like her and Oriana. Upon learning of the events that lead to the Faro Plague wiping out the planet, Tony was glad that he didn't make Ultron the way Faro creates the Chariot automatons.
  • Contrary to public opinion, Ted Faro thought he had purged the APOLLO AI of all its records on human civilization. However, Dr. Sobeck saw this coming and was able to create a backup for the files, meaning that Aloy is the keeper of Old World knowledge that spans over 150,000 years. And that doesn't sit very well with the defied Brotherhood elder, Arthur Maxson, who seeks the knowledge that Aloy protects, be it by peaceful means or by force. It's one of the reasons why Maxson is banned from Aloy's temple/refuge. But Mason vows not to let that stop him from getting his hands on that lost tech.
    • This also puts Aloy on the GUAE's radar as well, as they seek to exploit the ancient machines that made up the Faro Plague. Did they forget that not only were the machines were not only hacker-proof, but also it took the MINERVA AI Subroutine 60 years to force-crack the robots in order to put them down? Some of the more rational members opt not to reactivate the Chariots.
    • It's also the main reason why SKYNET doesn't try to take over the Chariots. While it admires the Chariots for wiping out mankind, the last thing it wants is for the Faro Plague to hijack its programming.
  • The Ascended Kombatants who has past and current affiliations with Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade comment that Aloy sounds a lot like their daughter, Cassandra Cage. The defied Vault Hunters disagree, as they claim Aloy sounds like Tiny Tina. For the fighters and heros that endured the Convergence Event, they say Aloy reminds them of Chun-Li. However, Carol Danvers disagrees, as she claims that Aloy sounds like Kamala Khan.
  • As she didn't have any parents, Aloy grew up as an Outcast, which is basically her tribe's equivalent of being a bastard child. Jon Snow can relate to that, as he thought that he himself was one... up until he found out that he wasn't one as a means to protect him from his father's enemies.
  • Traveled to the Mushroom Kingdom, where she met Mario (who, thankfully, isn't rescuing Princess Peach for the umpteenth time), and marveled at its prosperity and beauty (giant turtles and killer plants and fish notwithstanding).
  • Occasionally spends time in Astera, and can be seen going on hunts with the locals, using her trusty bow. She has particularly taken to hunting a particularly vicious creature called the Deviljho, even going so far as to hunt two particularly violent Deviljhos simultaneously, a feat of bravery that left even the local Hunters in admiration.
  • At one point, Aloy ran into Geralt of Rivia in the Pantheon. Strangely, despite this being their first face-to-face meeting together, they seemed to greet each other as old friends. As it turns out, Geralt had heard tales of the machine hunters' exploits, and held a deal of respect towards Aloy. The two now occasionally go on hunts together, either in the Pantheon or Astera, depending on which one has the better quarry.
  • Having always insisted that the sun does not have a penis, she was pleased to discover that Amaterasu is female. However, she has difficulty understanding how it can be both the observable cosmic body above her head and an ordinary (?) physical wolf at the same time. Issun assured Aloy that is perfectly natural.
    • When Amaterasu heard that Aloy has purified some "corrupted zones" in her homeland, she licked the woman happily, seeming to emanate an aura of pride. This discomforted Aloy, who has no knowledge of dogs, so Amaterasu decided to hold off on the touching for a while.
  • Aloy earned her title when she firmly rejected the Sun-King of Meridian's grief-driven affections and told him she could not replace his slain lover. Avad insists that his attraction was not entirely fake, but is deeply grateful that she encouraged him to find real healing in the dangerous time when he was tempted towards maladaptive coping mechanisms. Eventually he agreed that they were Better as Friends.
  • Where the trail leads, I will go.

    Boa Hancock
Boa Hancock, Goddess of Screwing Rules Through Beauty (Pirate Empress, Queen of the Amazon Lily, Pirate Warlord Hancock)

  • Symbol: The Kuja Pirates flag
  • Theme Music

  • Domains: Piracy, Feminism, Beauty
  • High Priestess: Kyogoku Maria

  • Unknown Rival to: Nico Robin, Nami
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Fleet Admiral Sakazuki (f.k.a Admiral Akainu), Sir Crocodile while Croc sees her as an enemy.
  • Enemies: Donquixote Doflamingo, Blackbeard (especially as Marshall D. Teach), Eneru, Prime Minister Honest, Wild Hunt, everyone else who would dare to harm Luffy, Risky Boots, slavers.
  • Respected by: Aphrodite
  • Supported by: Oberyn Martell
  • Pities: Bloody Marie, Painwheel, Sakura Matou, Peacock, The Vortigaunts, The Prinnies
  • Heralds: Her sisters, Sandersonia and Marigold
  • Followers: The Kuja warriors
  • How did Boa Hancock ascend to the Pantheon? She felt like walking through the gates one day, and everyone was too enchanted by her beauty to stop her.
  • Luffy, who was ecstatic to see Hancock again, welcomed her with one his hugs. The woman in question practically squealed in delight as she received affections from her object of affections. Meanwhile, half of the Pantheon are wondering how Luffy was able to land such a hot babe.
  • She prefers to bath alone, meaning that she won't even allow other women in her presence when she's nude. This is due to marking brained on her back, identifying her as a former slave. Usually she'd turn those who saw it into stone, but has since refrained from doing that... maybe.
    • It's also because of her past that she finds sympathy for those who were former slaves themselves, such as Marie, Painwheel, Peacock and Sakura, and those who were victimized by said slavers, like Squigly. She's more then willing to help make the Medici family pay for what they did, though she is keeping a critical eye on Marie stating that if the Skullgirl goes too far she will have to "put her foot down". She doesn't like how Marie views Filia as an enemy, despite the latter being nowhere near as cruel as the Medici's, either.
  • While she doesn't seem to have any opinion on the other men of the Straw Hat Crew, she does make a personal notice on Nami and Robin, viewing them as her rivals for Luffy. The moment she ran into them, she did her "looking down on you so much that it gets reversed and she starts looking up" stance and declares that she will never lose to them. Then she walked away, leaving both women utterly confused at what just happened.
  • Standing at 6'3", the same height as Samus Aran, this makes her one of the tallest human deities in the Pantheon only adding to her beauty and fear among the other deities.
  • It turned out Aphrodite was sympathetic towards Hancock as she wasn't able to consummate her Single-Target Sexuality with Luffy because he's asexual. Overall, they'd be good friends. But Aphrodite takes issue with the pirate claiming to be the most beautiful woman, however, she doesn't force this claim, lest she incurs Hancock's wrath.
    • Much in the same way Cleopatra butts heads with Hancock over beauty finding her obsession with Luffy rather strange, but she understands why her heart sways this way for the Strawhat Pirates' leader.
  • Usagi was surprised when Hancock had paid her a visit since ordinarily she would be giving off warnings to any female deities about staying away from Luffy. Instead, she was interested in learning about her relationship with Tuxedo Mask as she hoped one day like with Sailor Moon she would become Luffy's bride.
  • As one of the most beautiful pirates in the world, she knows that all kinds of people are fond of her but some were actually attracted to her, such as Isabela of Rivain and the Prince of Dorne, Oberyn Martell. While flattered by these two admitting how much they found her breathtaking, the female warlord was more hostile to Oberyn due to his gender and not wanting to break Luffy's heart by getting seen with another man.
  • Despite hating both Honest and Wild Hunt for their treatment of women and slaves, she genuinely respects General Esdeath and supports her love of Tatsumi. In a way, Hancock could understand the pain of loving someone who is fighting on the opposite side of a war and why Esdeath feels so conflicted on him.
  • Hancock was happily invited to the Straw Hat's latest party with the ascension of their newest crewmate, none other than her fellow former warlord Jinbei. The two greeted each other amicably.
  • Hancock has been tightening her defenses with the revelation that the Marines have disbanded the Shichibukai program and thus her and the other Warlords are now pursued by the Marines.
  • "Whether I kick a kitten... Tear off your ears... Even slaughter innocent people... The world will never cease to forgive my actions! Why, you ask? Why, it is because I am beautiful!"

    Morathi
"I shivered at the sight of her - her beauty far beyond that of mortal man. But her soul glowed with an inner darkness that chilled my very core."

Morathi, Goddess of Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunettes (The Hag Sorceress of Ghrond, First of the Hag Queens, Drusala)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/warhammer_morathi.png

  • Domains: Dark Elves, Manipulation, Mothers, Dark Magic, Hedonism

  • Opposes: Archaon, Lord Tirek
  • Opposed By: The Heroic Protectors of Family, Asdrubael Vect, Glenn Quagmire, Francine Smith, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Teachers and Students from Hogwarts, House of Love and Affection
  • Complicated Relationship: Malekith (her son)
  • Ambiguous Relationship: Slaanesh
  • An Elven seer and exceptionally powerful magician from Ulthuan, Morathi was the second wife of the Phoenix King, Aenarion, who had saved her during an attack from the Forces of Chaos. Together, they had a son, Malekith, who was intended to be a replacement for Aenarion's other two children, who were believed to have died alongside his wife Astarielle. Morathi was an encouraging and supportive mother, which would have been fine, had it not been for the fact that much of her words were sharp and devious manipulations meant to rile Malekith up, especially his desire to live up to Aenarion's legacy after his death. Determined to see her son succeed, Morathi backed Malekith's side, especially after his rejection in becoming the next Phoenix King and her advice and words were becoming increasingly demented and manipulative, causing Malekith to steadily denounce his reputation and allegiance, resulting in a bloody civil war, where Malekith was horribly burned by the Flame of Asuryan in a failed attempt to prove his worth, his christening as the Witch-King and The Sundering. The final results were those in Malekith and Morathi's side losing, though they manage to strike back as hard as they could before taking whatever of their army, fortresses and territories were left and sailed westwards, reaching Naggaroth and establishing the cruel and vicious empire of the Dark Elves.
    • The next thousands of years saw Malekith and Morathi assert as much control as they could on their people, though the two began to clash against one another regarding their thoughts and feelings. Still, Morathi was determined to see Malekith succeed, ever if her son had severe disagreements and discomfort to the point of thinking about killing her. The Dark Elves and the High Elves would battle against one another for millennia, with the former also going along to attack other races either for taking over their lands or their own amusement, acts which Morathi was content with. As the ultimate second-in-command of Dark Elven society and governing the city of Ghrond, Morathi established herself as one of the most fearsome and wicked practitioners of magic in her world.
    • However, during the second Elven Civil War that took place around the same time as the End Times, Morathi became smitten by Tyrion, who was accumulating too much grief from the betrayal of his brother, Teclis, and the death of his daughter, Aliathra. Seeing that Malekith sacrificed Naggaroth to take over Ulthuan and outlawed many of the rules they had established for the Dark Elves, Morathi lost all of her goodwill and seduced Tyrion to her side and getting wed, not caring if she got to murder her son, so long as she got what she wanted, alongside manipulating Tyrion to draw out the Widowmaker. Deciding to mask her identity by taking on the identity of Drusala, she was responsible for the deaths of Malus Darkblade and many others, regardless of their allegiance. In a fit of rage after Tyrion's death, Morathi entered the vortex opened by Teclis, where she confronted Caledor Dragontamer. Unfortunately, her presence alerted Slaanesh, who proceeded to capture the two elves, Morathi attempted to flee, only for her and Caledor to be ensnared and dragged into the Chaos God's warp...
  • Despite her sudden disappearance, Morathi manage to find a way out, though the events did make her drowsy and confused for a moment. As she regained composure, she realized that she was not in familiar lands, but rather something different. Not that Morathi was bothered all too much, for she ventured in the Pantheon for a long time until stumbling across a recreated Naggaroth. Instead of going back, she chose to exile herself, claiming that her son would not be happy to see him, given what had happened between them during the End Times.
    • The Pantheon was a rather interesting experience for Morathi. For one thing, she was intrigued by the state of the Forever War, but was less than pleased to see that Naggaroth chose not to side with any particular side, even if they were suitable for the Grand United Alliance of Evil and the GUAE Dystopia Harbingers (then again, Malekith has been very open about his contempt towards Melkor and Darkseid). For the moment, Morathi's role in the Pantheon is to be a Wild Card; she will do anything to win over the favour of her son and allow the Dark Elves ultimate victory, but as a polarizing figure, even among her race, she's keeping herself reserved for the time being.
  • The Pantheon was, surprisingly to her, not a grim place where strife, division and internal conflict was not as apparent and inevitable. Despite all of this, Morathi is quick to claim that the Dark Elves should, above all else, prioritize themselves and their goals, but the Pantheon, having different standards, meant that she would need to adapt. It took a while before Morathi decided to pursue allies and working relationships with others outside of her race. If her son is doing it, then she may follow it.
  • One of Morathi's defining characterizations is her high stimulation for pleasure, usually the cruel and perversive kind. Sometimes disguising herself, Morathi will seduce anyone who catches her interest and bind them into working for her. She will have sex with them if it means gaining something (particularly loyalty) out of it and will gladly backstab and kill them if no longer needed. The House of Love and Affection found this incredibly abhorrent and promptly banned her from entering, an act that Morathi found amusing.
    • Speaking of, her relationship with Malekith is one of the most questionable and difficult to understand. Despite her affection and wanting to help her son in taking back Ulthuan, Malekith is less than kind about his mother, let alone the fact that she ascended into the Pantheon. He doesn't mind offing her, if mainly because most of the architecture surrounding Malekith's bitterness and anger is Morathi's doing. And then at other times, the two of them are excellent collaborators in combat and manipulation, given their experience in battle and black magic. Still, there are records that Malekith is close to his mother, or rather, too close. To many, even their own enemies included, it's a common joke to highlight this at the end of a checklist highlighting Malekith's feats. On the other hand, Malekith despises these claims and will subject anyone to a horrendous and frightening torture and punishment. Conversely, Morathi finds this rather amusing.
  • The Child Abuse Supporters were a rather interesting topic for Morathi and figured that an alliance would work in both of their favours. That said, she does have a genuine affection for Malekith, unlike them who at best, were neglectful of their kids and at worst, tried to kill them either out of hatred or to remove competition. Catching onto Morathi's reputation, the Child Abuse Supporters were wary but decided to enlist her aid and support for the time being.
    • She doesn't seem to care all too much about Heihachi and Scar. She does occasionally butt heads against Lady Tremaine as she feels that the Wicked Stepmother doesn't have much going for other than to spite Cinderella. Morathi, however, does know of the Heartless all too well and should Tremaine lose any meaningful purpose or gets boring, Morathi will seek to turn her into Mean Maiden. As for Ozai, Morathi has, more than once, tried to seduce him into sleeping with her to satiate her hedonistic desires. She enjoys Ozai's bloodthirsty and vicious nature and the Fire Lord plans on working with Morathi and learning enough of the Dark Elves's magic to overwhelm his enemies. Unfortunately for her, Malekith hates Ozai (and by extension, every member of the Child Abuse Supporters) and has made it clear he will kill the Fire Lord if he dares to make an alliance with the Dark Elves, hence Morathi attempts to be covert about her partnership with Ozai.
    • The Heroic Protectors of Family don't like Morathi at all. It's less that she's an Abusive Parent and more she manipulated her son into becoming a large-scale threat that emotionally damaged him and thus, playing a part in causing the horrendous strife between the High Elves and the Dwarfs. There's also the fact that she ordered Malekith's wife, Allisara, to be killed so that she doesn't become a distraction to the Witch-King. Morathi, in turn, scoffs at them, thinking the Heroic Protectors to be emotionally weak and fragile and is not hesitant in warring against them.
  • She's not all too liked by Asdrubael Vect either, even though he's far worse than her. It stems from the fact that Morathi reminds the Dark Eldar of Lady Malys, one of Asdrubael's former consorts, though unlike Malys, Morathi was far too impatient in seeing her goals succeed and creating a bigger mess than anyone anticipated. Additionally, the actions are what the Dark Eldar would like to not remember fondly either in what happened to Commoragh.
    • Because of her ties to Slaanesh, she is often ridiculed by Eldrad Ulthran, who managed to prove his might by challenging against Asdrubael and Slaanesh several times, even if at a disadvantage. What is especially notable is how Eldrad underscores how Morathi was so pitiable in her final moments that the Chaos God of Suffering decided to drag Morathi into its domain, a fact that the Hag Sorceress does not find entertaining in the slightest.
  • Her usual mount is the Dark Pegasi, Sulephet, which she rides in combat and for transportation. The dark pegasus is one of the few creatures that Dark Elves will not belittle or beat into submission as they are considered a religious icon to them. This does not excuse or vindicate Morathi in any way, as The Mane Six and their friends have demonstrated. Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia hate the Hag Sorceress for her evil actions and callous nature, whereas Fluttershy condemns her race (and by extension, Morathi herself) for beating animals into their command. Princess Luna fears what Morathi is capable of, seeing as she is willing to manipulate just about anyone to get what she wants and is not above corrupting them to her services. The Cutie Mark Crusaders, being young and inexperienced are told to never, ever confront Morathi on their own, which isn't helped by the fact that most deities, let alone the Equestrians, are in utter disgust at the Dark Elves' cruelty and sadism.
  • Morathi found intrigue under Queen Potema Septim for some of the similarities they had, namely that they were malicious matriarchs who manipulated their sons into committing horrific actions and turn against the people that they loved, which escalated into a full-blown battle and crisis (The Sundering for Morathi and the War of the Red Diamond) that caused an untold amount of damage. While Potema's indulgence in necromancy was initially a difficult consideration as it reminded Morathi of Nagash, Potema came to like Morathi for what she was and decided to strike an alliance. The two matriarchs often conspire with each other in what to manipulate and deceive for their own benefits. Of course, this didn't stop Uriel Septim VII and his son Martin from immediately opposing the Hag Sorceress, seeing her as just as twisted and diabolical as Potema and the fact that Morathi's hedonism freaks them out.
  • Her willingness to see her goals had Morathi approach numerous evil beings in an effort to secure power and resources. Darkseid and Melkor, two malicious leaders who actually opposed one another, were among those two, with Morathi making a deal to build up some sort of goodwill and offering them any Dark Elves and other beings that she seduced to her side. The fact that his mother is supplying potential infantry to the God of Evil and the Lord of Tyranny frustrates Malekith as he makes it clear he wants nothing to do with them, not to mention he sees the Chaos Gods (who are high lieutenants for Melkor) and their forces with seething hatred and disgust.
  • Predictably, any elf that isn't a Dark Elf or is a Dwarf despise Morathi because of her scheming and shrewd demeanour. Chief among them is Thorgrim Grudgebearer, which is justified as Morathi did mentor Malekith into becoming just as manipulative as her, not to mention the War of the Beard was instigated by the Dark Elves. Legolas and Gimli, having heard the tales of the Dark Elves are increasingly wary of what Morathi is capable of and have alerted Aragorn to prepare for such an occasion when she initiates an attack.
    • Through those two, Morathi was able to find an additional set of individuals to work with. Sauron finds her to be an impressive manipulator, though this doesn't change the fact that the Dark Lord still has an intense rivalry towards her son. She also liked Griffith due to his charisma and eloquence, both of which hid a truly vile monster from within and the White Hawk is willing to work with her if there's a common goal in mind.
    • She also found some sort of common ground with the Drow Goddess, Lolth as both of them were sadistic and vicious tricksters who are more than willing to ruin lives. Because of this, they've formed an alliance of convenience, much to the terror of those who knows them well enough and encourages backstabbing among their followers. That said, Morathi finds Lolth's misandry to be annoying as it doesn't give her enough for her hedonism (though she can and will sleep with other women as well]] and does seem to be genuinely affectionate for Malekith, despite their vitriolic relationship, unlike Lolth who will gladly kill her children just because.
  • Being more maniacal and sadistic than Malekith, Morathi has set her eyes out on the Puella Magi after learning of the Soul Gem and entropy and despair playing a part in transforming Magical Girls into Witches. That said, Morathi was baffled to learn how Madoka Kaname is on civil terms with her son (and even then, Malekith is being cautious and careful about Kriemhild Gretchen and how it has the potential to destroy entire worlds if left unchecked) when Morathi herself would just rather subject her to agony just for the sake of it. As for the other magical girls, Morathi may as well fight against them and torture them until they become witches. Conversely, while Madoka pities Malekith, she is totally afraid of Morathi and does the most she could to keep her distance, especially after the Pantheonic Rebellion, while the others, particularly Homura and Sayaka tend to clash every now and then.
  • As one of the strongest sorceresses of her race, Morathi does oversee the Seven Convents of Sorceresses where female Dark Elves are taken in to be taught magic. Due to the backstabbing and treacherous nature of the Dark Elves, many students are killed off with making it to graduation, a fact that Morathi is content with as this enforces the Dark Elves' Darwinistic beliefs.
    • Obviously, this education system was met with scorn and disgust by any wizarding teacher and student. The students and teachers of Hogwarts were absolutely horrified to learn how can such an institution even exist, to begin with and would have made a stance to demolish it, had it not been for other threats looming on every now-and-then. Akko Kagari was similarly terrified, yet furious at Morathi for allowing murder and backstabbing to happen at an academic place. Similarly, Diana Cavendish condemns it under the notion that it promotes fearmongering and further distrust, a factor that would seep into families and tarnish values beyond recognition. Morathi, maintaining her smug demeanour, thinks Akko and Diana are foolish brats who are no match for her and also sees Hogwarts as weak and insipid in their magical talents. She's come to clash against Akko and Diana numerous times, though Morathi is wary of the power of the Shiny Rod, under Akko's possession.

  • Wary Of: Capturable Legendary Beasts, but notably the Creation and Weather Trios, Rexie, The Raptor Pack, The Fossil Pokemon
  • Interests: Lucifer
  • Dr Ian Malcolm, a famous mathematician and chaotician, was among the few people who were invited by John Hammond to visit Isla Nublar. The reason; to see Jurassic Park with their own eyes, be amazed and offer their thoughts and suggestions regarding the improvement of the park before it's opening. While the rest of the group remained enthusiastic by the sight of the living, breathing dinosaurs, Malcolm remained skeptical before outright stating that the park would fail, because despite the geneticists's attempt to prevent the dinosaurs from breeding, "Life finds a Way". In time, his predictions turn out to be correct; the dinosaurs soon escape their paddocks, albeit due to a sabotaging attempt to steal dinosaur embryos by a disgruntled InGen employee. In the middle of the doomed tour, Ian, alongside Dr Grant attempted to save Hammond's kids from a rampaging Tyrannosaurus rex, but was severely injured in the process and had to wait until he was able to evacuate alongside the other survivors.
    • A few years later, Ian was seen as an insane conspiracy theorist and doesn't lecture about Chaos Theory due to slanders by new InGen CEO Peter Ludlow. He was called by Hammond to discuss Isla Sorna, or Site B, the island where the dinosaurs were really cloned and bred before being taken over to Isla Nublar as attractions for Jurassic Park and that his nephew Peter Ludlow was attempting to capture dinosaurs to create another Jurassic Park in San Diego, California. Malcolm initially denied wanting to go, until Hammond told him that Ian's girlfriend Sarah Harding was already in the island researching dinosaurs. This prompted Ian to head out alongside a group consisting of himself, Nick Van Owen, Eddie Carr and his daughter Kelly (albeit by accident). What resulted was a clash between several dangerous dinosaurs and hunters hired by InGen. They eventually banded together to ensure each others' survival, despite Malcolm's group having sabotaged InGen's camp and setting captured dinosaurs free. After several close calls, which includes the deaths of Eddie and most of the hunters and a male T. rex rampaging throughout San Diego, Malcolm's group was successful and managed to prove himself to be telling the truth about dinosaurs, thus regaining his reputation.
  • The following years about Malcolm have mostly been unknown, though he is stated to have written a series of books about Chaos Theory and it's telling that Jurassic Park played a heavy influence in his field of work. He ascended into the Pantheon not long after the San Diego incident, though he remained silent up until the imminent destruction of Isla Nublar back in 2018 where Malcolm diligently stated that the dinosaurs needed to go extinct as per natural order. Alas, things didn't go out as he said, with the dinosaurs now roaming North America without discreet. Malcolm has expressed disappointment in the matter.
  • The Pantheon was, in Malcolm's view, a collective series of events and worlds, all tangled up to one another and creating different sorts of situations that were never meant to happen. In short, the Pantheonic Multiverse is a Multiverse that is very diligent on Chaos Theory. Alas, Malcolm hasn't lectured about this yet, given that some people already see him as rather preachy and nonsensical at times.
  • Beyond dinosaurs, Malcolm has a very skewed opinion about the concept of capturable beasts. He thinks back to how evolution works and seeing how some dog breeds eventually evolved from being savage to docile, Malcolm comes to believe that while Pokémon and Digimon may have a unique set of evolutions, excessive domestication can ruin and distort their natural evolutionary line or natural selection to become more aggressive regarding them. He keeps these reasons to himself obviously, given the abundance of Pokemon trainers and Digimon owners.
    • While the dinosaur-based Digimon are totally natural, Malcolm is rather bewildered about how scientists try to bring extinct Pokemon back from existence and trainers being eager to use them for battle and travel. Like in Jurassic Park, Malcolm worries about how these events can potentially result in some sort of event where Prehistoric Pokemon may start to adapt and take over quickly.
    • Malcolm, however, is vocal towards one thing; the idea to keep hold of certain legendary creatures isn't really a good idea. He takes most issue out of the Weather and Creation Pokemon trios as they possess abilities that are beyond mankind's control and to alter it could potentially create problems that would endanger lives on a global and cosmic scale respectively. The Creation Trio's partners, Future Trunks, Yukari Yakumo and Midna responded by stating that they are doing the best they could to allow the Creation Trio to act as independently as they can, though they can see where Malcolm is coming from.
    • Nope, he does not have a positive opinion towards Maxie and Archie. He feels like the two of them were being total idiots for trying to control the weather using Groudon and Kyogre respectively and once called them out for doing something that would have caused mayhem and disasters they wouldn't be able to quell. While they are atoning as Hammond has, Malcolm is still pessimistic about them.
  • He was pissed off when he found out that InGen really learned nothing from their experience in Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna. Case in point, there was another theme park, Jurassic World, the creation of the hybrid, the Indominus Rex caused the park to be shut down upon its escape and rampage and the eventual Indoraptor. Even years later, Malcolm is still bitter about InGen and no one can blame him about it.
  • In contrast to the dinosaurs cloned by InGen, Malcolm himself is far more amicable towards the Prehistoric Beasts Sub-House, given that the residing dinosaurs there are genuine. He predicted John Hammond taking up arms to allow conservation to the place as a sign of goodwill and atonement. As for the dinosaurs themselves, Malcolm is aware that they are just as dangerous as the one InGen cloned, though the more anthropomorphic ones like the Gang of Seven, Dino and Hoppy were easy to get along with.
    • Deviljho was a rather interesting topic for Malcolm. While he is obviously not considering the idea of meeting one, Deviljho's nomadic nature and destructive tendencies are what Malcolm describes, the very personification of nature manifesting itself into a chaotic force of control, forcing other creatures to either be content and fight against it, or perish". The Elder Dragons are more blatant, given how some have elemental control. Malcolm muses them as being literal forces of nature and once considered writing them as a case study for a future book.
  • He is very sarcastic, with some of his lines being straight-up metaphors for unlikely events and sardonically reacting to situations where anyone, himself included would be in a bad position. While his sarcastic wit has never let go, his experience on Isla Nublar did make him more serious and concerned about himself and his close ones. Still, this isn't going to stop Malcolm from equipping every once in a while.
  • Lucifer was rather intrigued about Malcolm's field as a budding chaotician and for being very analytical about shortcomings and predictions, though he doubts if he would work as a member of the Grand United Alliance of Chaos. Given that the Pantheonic Forever War is beyond him, Malcolm doesn't have much of an opinion about him. Instead, he expresses more interest in Homura Akemi, who was a critical aspect in the Great Upheaval. In fact, Malcolm's first book in the Pantheon is about the chaos Homura made in an effort to save Madoka Kaname, resulting in the formation of the GUAL and GUAC.
  • He created an Odd Friendship with an android known as Vector. It turns out she shares Malcolm's pessimism and thus, she can appreciate his snark. It also helps that Vector took the time to read some of Malcolm's books and ended up liking them. Given that his books don't get much appreciation, Malcolm is genuinely surprised by this. That said, Malcolm does acknowledge that he's not an expert in dinosaurs, when Vector herself tourns out to have quite an adequate knowledge about them. Sometimes if he feels like going to the Prehistoric Beasts Sub-House, Malcolm would ask Vector if she can tag along should Grant be absent.
    • He also found good company under Kaban and Serval, with Malcolm taking some interest in Serval, given that she was actually a humanoid with beastly traits meant to be a "Friend" exhibit for a zoo called Japari Park and was initially a serval cat. Malcolm also took notice of the Sandstar substance that caused animals to turn into beastly humanoids. That and the attack of the Ceruleans that caused Japari Park to be shut down had Malcolm question the Sandstar being the source of chaos that manifested under the form of the Ceruleans. Regardless, the survival of Serval may mean her kind will continue to thrive. He hopes they don't become hostile in the upcoming years, though with Kaban's influence, Malcolm's worries are likely to be mended.
  • He became friends with George and Karl mainly because they have the shared experience of exploring a jungle filled with dangerous dinosaurs. Malcolm also appreciates the duo's friendship, who in turn, like to hear Malcolm's dry humour at times. Like Vector, George and Karl often ask Malcolm if they can come along in adventures inside jungles, knowing that Malcolm's experiences will aid them... and to make sure he doesn't have them walking in the wrong direction.
    • He also has some appreciation with Jack Tenrec and Hannah Dundee, though the two of them sometimes find Malcolm's talks about nature being chaotic and science being hard to control to be rather tedious to listen to. They do appreciate Malcolm's snark though and whenever Jack and Hannah stark fighting with one another, Malcolm would step in to break the fight up, asserting that they have a goal to accomplish.
  • His alternate name is a joke inspired by his striking physical and vocal resemblance to the late quantnum physicist Dr. Seth Brundle, who lost his humanity and, ultimately, his life when he made a careless, drunken decision to test his teleportation device upon himself and accidentally became a genetically-spliced hybrid of human and insect as dangerous and hideous as anything InGen ever created. Some deities do not believe the resemblance is a coincidence and theorize Dr. Malcolm is Brundle's reincarnation unconsciously repenting for the sins of his former life.
"Yeah. "Ooh, ah," that's how it always starts. But then later there's running and screaming."

  • There exists a school, Yomiyama North Middle School, in Japan with a very particular classroom; Class 3-3. In 1972, a student of said class named Misaki Yomiyama died in a mysterious house fire. He was so popular among his classmates that they pretended that he was still alive. Sure enough, their graduation photo had Misaki in it. From then on, Class 3-3 was plagued by mysterious cases of sudden and gruesome deaths. A particular student who attended per year would turn out to be someone who doesn't exist with everyone else's memories modified to believe otherwise. The only way to halt the curse every year is to pretend a handpicked student doesn't exist at all or kill the extra if they're discovered, the latter of which was uncovered accidentally by surviving student Katsumi Matsunaga.
  • Mei Misaki was one of the students of Class 3-3 in 1998. Due to her aloof nature and rather unsettling appearance, she was picked to be that year's "extra" student, with the rest of the class (teachers included) refusing to acknowledge her existence to fight the curse off. Still, this didn't faze Mei all that much, even when she met transfer student Kouichi Sakakibara, one of the few to properly acknowledge her existence. Together, after Kouichi learnt of the curse, he and Mei sought to uncover the truth behind the curse and how to put a stop to it. That, and also deal with a new slew of deaths and further suspicion...
  • Mei is one of the few surviving members of Class 3-3 in 1998, alongside Kouichi. Despite this, it's pretty evident that the experience will haunt her and her classmates for the rest of their lives. Fortunately, an audiotape is now hidden in the classroom with the hopes that someone may use it to prevent more casualties from the next generation of students attending Class 3-3. Mei's experience allowed her access in the Pantheon and despite her residing house is rather well-known in the House of Death and Postmortem.
    • A memorial has been erected in the grounds of the House of School to honour those who died because of the curse, staff and family members included. Mei and the other Class 3-3 survivors visit the memorial regularly to pay their respects.
  • Still a teenager, Mei will attend the House of School on a weekly basis. She still sits beside a window in the corner while minding her own business. Unlike Class 3-3, students and teachers aren't bound by the countermeasures to ignore her presence and thus, she's more open to talking. It helps that she's in a normal school with no paranormal activity and that Kouichi and the surviving students are her heralds to attend.
  • Her doll's eye is renowned in the House of Undead and Phasmata as it allows Mei to commune with ghosts and spirits. Despite this, however, she rarely visits that house, given that two of its residential guardians, Nekron and Nagash revel in total destruction and enslavement of the dead. That aside, she's made quick friends with Reimi Sugimoto and Casper the Ghost for being very hospitable and sympathizing with Mei's struggles. Despite her normally solitary nature, Mei is more outspoken when it comes to talking to the dead it seems.
  • Despite her rather creepy appearance, Mei is actually pretty sweet and polite. It just so happens that she's very reserved and quiet about it which makes her unsettling towards others, albeit unintentionally. Her friends, however, get her to emote more often which has been helping Mei out, especially considering her time in the House of School.
    • This led to her having some sort of association with Norman Babcock and Agatha Prenderghast as the two of them were capable of seeing and interacting with the undead, but were also ostracized and mocked for doing so, though they had it more directly in contrast to Mei being ostracized rather indirectly. Regardless of the difference, Mei gets along with them, even when Norman and Agatha were terrified of hearing about the Class 3-3 cases.
  • She often visits the Hall of Twins in the House of Family and Relatives. The reasons behind it are deeply personal, for Mei initially had a twin sister named Fujioka, whom she was very close with. After Mei's aunt Yukiyo miscarried, Mei was given to her to cope with the loss while Fujioka stayed with their birth mother, making them simultaneously twin sisters and cousin. Mei herself was very energetic and extroverted back when she used to play with her sister and Fujioka's sudden death made Mei the quiet and lonely girl that she is now. She is happy to see her twin sister be brought back as a herald. Still, with the events of Class 3-3 still fresh in her mind, Mei no longer meets her sister as often as once did, Survivor Guilt still fresh in her mind.
    • Another frightening factor is that Fujioka was actually the very first victim of the Class 3-3 curse back in 1998, dying of leukemia after a harrowing incident with a Ferris wheel. The fact that Fujioka had attended the same elementary school as Class 3-3 student Takako Sugiura was the reason many of the students were beginning to misinterpret how to deal with the curse. But now that she's back, Fujioka herself really doesn't like talking about it, which Mei can understand, given that she too talks about Class 3-3. Fujioka blames herself for the inn massacre that Takako started due to the identity confusion and made sure to at least make clear to Kouichi and the others that she is Mei's twin sister.
    • Obviously, she is pitied by the rest of the House of Family and Relatives, though that doesn't undermine that Mei will visit it time and again. She and Fujioka visit the Childhood and Adolescence house to make new friends. It helps that her sister is very cheerful and willing to play with any child she comes across while Mei can choose to either play or watch.
  • She was very surprised to hear about a certain personification of Death that stalks and kills survivors in freak accidents in the order that they were meant to die in. Mei is afraid of this Death personification as a result because the way Death kills is eerily similar to the "supposed" freak accidents of the Class 3-3 students, and has been frequently compared with the same. That said, Death isn't going out of its way to kill Mei and her friends. Since they managed to survive by playing with the rules, it'll give them a break. That, and the fact that the next intake of Class 3-3 students is ripe for the taking...
  • In regards to a structured, systematic way of killing people, there's also Junko Enoshima and Monokuma. However, unlike Class 3-3 which is still a curse with little background information and Death killing survivors because of its vengeful nature, Junko not only kills but also wants to torture and psychologically break students for the hell of it and to wash off any semblance of hope. This also involved Makoto Naegi, who had a particular knack of inspiring hope to others as a counter. As a result, Makoto has shown himself to be a good role model for Mei, often giving encouraging advice and even cheering her up in ways very few could do. This doesn't bode well for Junko who wants to use Fujioka and the Class 3-3 experience to torment Mei if and when she feels like it.
    • Despite the above, Death of the Endless appears to be rather sympathetic to Mei's plight. To Mei's surprise, this iteration of Death is upbeat, affable and somewhat sarcastic, which caught Mei a little off-guard. She did, however, express some sympathy for the deaths of the Class 3-3 students as well and has made a promise to Mei that she'll personally try to meet up with the deceased students in the afterlife and try to make amends and provide them with something to make up for it. If more Class 3-3 students ascend, she might even be able to make them the heralds of said students.
  • Her ability to see ghosts led Mei to make acquaintances with Malcolm Crowe. Crowe himself was intrigued, yet somewhat disturbed by the events and circumstances of Class 3-3 and thanks to his experiences with Cole Sear, he's opted to see if he can provide Mei and her friends some kind of mental aid. Carol Anne is another person that Mei was able to talk to regarding ghosts. She's invited Fujioka over to the Storytelling Sub-House to give Carol-Anne company and someone to play with after learning of the trauma the little girl had to go through regarding ghosts.
  • While trotting around the House of Life and Death, Mei also came across Misao, who was minding her own business and initially wanted to keep her distance. But after finding out about how Misao was bullied, killed and eventually came to curse her school, Mei became very mellow towards her. She related to her in how lonely she herself felt until she met Kouichi and made an attempt to befriend her, which Misao respected. They're known to meet up with one another every once in a while with Mei trying to get Misao to meet up with her own friends.

  • Enemies: Frollo, Vega
  • Sympathizes with: Scrat
  • Church bells echoed throughout the House of Personal Appearance one day. When other gods went to investigate, the shrine was empty, but they had found a staircase leading up into a bell tower. It was there that Quasimodo was discovered.
  • Hearing that a new cuteness related god had ascended (before hearing the full title) Rena rushed to meet Quasimodo. When she did, she was caught in a loop of whether or not to run in fear or enter cute mode. After Quasi sincerely asked if she was alright, Rena's scales were tipped and instantly latched onto the hunchback. Though taken back by the unusual behavior, Quasimodo was appreciative of the affection.
  • Is a frequent visitor to the House of Faith, despite his former master's shrine being located there. His strength and agility were put to the test when he set off all of the church bells within the house in melodic harmony.
  • Has learned to despise Vega for his cruelty and obsession with external beauty, something he feels the killer doesn't deserve.
  • Tends to shy away from the House of Music, being very unfamiliar with the kind of music the house specializes in. The House of Music loves hearing him ring the bells though.
    • One unusual fan of Quasimodo emerged in Mozart, with Amadeus having now started to write a symphony based on The Hunchback of Notre Dame, featuring bell sections played by the man himself. Quasimodo felt honored and always keeps in touch to learn how the composition is moving forward.
  • Belle dropped in to welcome him to the Pantheon, and also to offer her sympathy for Quasi being unable to win Esmeralda's heart. Quasimodo had moved on from the crush, but thanked her all the same.
  • Reika Aoki once visited his temple and says that inside his ugly exterior, has an inner beauty. She encourages him to be secure of himself.
  • Considering their shared suffering through their lives, Quasimodo and Rapunzel have quickly taken to each other. Quasimodo invited her into his shrine, modeled after his bell tower from the mortal world, to give her a tour. Within ten minutes Rapunzel started painting the rafters and flat surfaces with vibrant images to his surprise and delight. In response, Quasi carved a Rapunzel figure for her.
  • After learning that Quasimodo had a temple in the Pantheon, Esmeralda immediately went to his temple to give him a hug as she is happy he found some place where people would accept him and look beyond his appearance.
  • Spent a whole day crying after learning his beloved cathedral suffered real life damage, as he couldn't be there for Notre Dame.
  • An ascended former follower of his, Scrat, always gets some nuts to eat when he passes by Quasimodo's temple. He eats them to get some energy to return to the only thing he ever cares about, his acorn, and never stays long. Still, the hunchback has no ill feelings, specially as this guarantees Scrat will not attempt to hide the acorn in Quasimodo's shrine and thus risk destroying it by accident.

  • Seiichirou Kitano is a model high school student, well-behaved and with high grades. Unfortunately he was born with a terrifying face which causes people to recoil from him and accuse him of being everything from a juvenile delinquent to the Devil himself. When he arrived at his new school Hekikuu, he was immediately targeted by the resident delinquents, but even they feared Kitano's (imaginary) wrath and passed the mantle of the school's guardian (that is, head delinquent) to him. Kitano was blissfully unaware of this, despite that other schools' delinquents kept trying to pick a fight with him, or teachers and disciplinarians attempted to "straighten him up" through some shady methods. Nonetheless, Kitano got out of these ordeals none the wiser, and gradually amassed his own circle of friends consisting either of people who understood his true nature, or didn't but still respected and liked him.
  • Kitano was deified and given the domain of Face of a Thug, as his infamously scary face belies his true nature, which is far kinder than the average person's, to the point where he could be called an angel. This particular deification was quieter than usual since the Main House thought it'd be more interesting to have everyone react naturally to Kitano. (You know how they love a good story.) Since his ascension, some deities claim to perceive him as having angel wings. Kitano himself doesn't seem to realize this and tends to misunderstand when people try to point it out to him.
  • He possesses some impressive physical capabilities, especially for someone who has apparently never trained a day in his life (besides jogging every morning). He can send people flying just by shoving them, is very durable and has keen reflexes. He is also known for outrunning the whole Athletic Club in a marathon. These abilities only add to his fearsome reputation, and it further helps that they have helped him win (by accident) against delinquents who were putting up a serious fight.
  • Kitano caused sensation among the students and teachers on his first day at the Elysium Academy, with everybody steering clear of his path. Somebody decided to go to the Sket Dan for help against the "new dangerous student" who was "terrorizing the entire school". Bossun was too scared to confront Kitano on his own, while ex-delinquent Hime was more willing, though she also had some reservations as she thought Kitano exuded an ominous aura, and when she took him on with her hockey stick, she was surprised at seeing Kitano deftly dodge her attacks. Switch was well-aware of who Kitano was, but withheld the information because he thought it was funny and it would all turn out fine. Eventually during a fight, Hime did realize Kitano really was just a normal person and called the whole thing off. After talking properly to Kitano and hearing his side of the story, the Sket Dan took pains to tell the whole Academy that Kitano was alright. Some deities remain skeptical at this, but the Sket Dan always stands by his side whenever he gets into trouble. Kitano himself admires the Sket Dan for their goals of wanting to help anyone who has a problem and wants them to know he would also like to support them whenever they need it.
  • The above incident caught the attention of Kanji Tatsumi, who understood Kitano's plight. Granted, Kanji doesn't simply look like a thug, he pretty much is one and won't hesitate to throw down with troublemakers; it's just that he happens to be a pretty well-meaning delinquent. But either way, he relates to Kitano's trouble with being judged by his appearance, and has promised to personally beat up whoever gives Kitano a hard time for it. Kitano would really just rather that Kanji didn't get himself into trouble for him or any other reason. Kitano also eventually became friends Ryuji Sakamoto, a Persona-user like Kanji, and also something of a delinquent with a heart of gold. All in all, these two remind Kitano of his good friend Yuji Takehisa.
  • He also managed to strike a friendship with Makoto Kino after he saw her dropping her handkerchief and he dutifully returned it to her. Probably thanks to this action, instead of being horrified at his face, she thought he reminded her of her ex-boyfriend. Granted, this little crush stopped quickly after she discovered he was already taken by one Ryoko Koiso. It might surprise you a guy like him managed to get a girlfriend, but really Kitano has tended to get along better with girls than with guys, since the former were generally quicker to see him for who he is. Either way, Makoto still remains friends with Kitano since she knows what it's like to drive people away because of an intimidating appearance, and she also gets along with Ryoko and another of his Heralds Ikuno due to their uncommon skill at martial arts.
  • Still, some things never change and the Academy has its fair share of delinquents who didn't get or refuse to get the memo and see Kitano as a rival to be taken down. The Tohoshinki keep a close eye on Kitano for this reason. Ironically Tatsumi Oga doesn't pay all that much attention to Kitano on his own; it's Baby Beel who acts up whenever Kitano's within sight, likely due to his fabled ominous aura. It causes Oga to pick fights with him, much to Kitano's confusion, though he always seems to get out of these scrapes not much worse for wear considering he's up against a crazy powerful delinquent and a demon lord-to-be. Daigo Kazama is thus under the impression that Kitano must be a truly fearsome delinquent, but also one who knows to use his full strength only when absolutely necessary, and thus respects Kitano. He isn't convinced by explanations that Kitano really isn't like that.
  • While the teachers in the Pantheon are on average a lot more understanding towards Kitano than those of his world, there is still one who takes his looks at face value: Agatha Trunchbull. The sadistic teacher is convinced that Kitano is out to disturb the peace (such as it is) of the Elysium Academy and is determined to have him disciplined, if not expelled. Kitano for his part also doesn't see Trunchbull for who she is. He tends to assume the best about people and his interactions with her up until now have happened in such a way that Kitano is convinced he is at fault for getting on her bad side and that she means well, or at least is just doing her job as a teacher.
  • A few visits to the House of Food got him a couple of new friends. One is Maika Sakuranomiya, a worker at a cosplay cafe (Kitano has no interest in such places, but he was invited by Switch). Maika's frightening smiles and Kitano's usual face predictably clashed and misunderstandings ensued, much to Switch's entertainment. Still, with time both Maika and Kitano were able to figure out they had the same problems with people misunderstanding them, and they were able to get along after all. The other one is G36, a gun-wielding robot girl who works as a maid in her off-time. She is famous for her Death Glare, which is in truth just her squinting very hard because of her poor eyesight. She is rather nice otherwise and was able to get along with Kitano because of it.
  • As a pure-hearted boy with the face of a demon, he stands in some contrast with Dahlia Hawthorne, who seems like the very picture of innocence despite being completely monstrous inside. The irony of this did not escape Dahlia when she heard of the new ascension's title, and she seems to make sport out of tormenting him for that very reason, petty as she is. For what it's worth, Kitano is perfectly aware that she's a terrible person, but seems somehow impervious to her attempts to mess with him, due to his typical misinterpretation of people's actions. Dahlia is fairly annoyed at this, but it doesn't stop her from keeping at it.
  • Kitano eventually became acquainted with Kazuma Kiryu after the latter chased away some hoodlums who had ganged on him (he's kind of used to it by now). Kitano heard the hoodlums calling Kazuma a yakuza, which made him a bit apprehensive about the man. Still, further encounters and seeing how devoted Kazuma is to protecting children and those he loves have given Kitano a good opinion of him. He even thinks Kazuma is a bit like his father in some ways (incidentally, Kitano's father has a history of being mistaken for a yakuza; it runs in the family, you see).
  • Has been more-or-less "adopted" by the Freaks, who surmise that Kitano's looks are due to some form of Facial Horror. This belief is only reinforced by the fact that many deities still recoil at the sight of Kitano, similar to how many still react with disgust at the Freaks. Because of this, the Freaks decided Kitano is one of them and that they must protect him as one of their own. Kitano is rather confused at all this, but ultimately doesn't really mind and appreciates that the Freaks are looking out for him.

    Tomie Kawakami
Tomie Kawakami, Goddess of Wretched Beauty

  • Demigoddess, but has the regeneration of a Greater God
  • Symbol: Her mole
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Humanoid Abominations that can Regenerate, Manipulation, Distinguishable Moles, Driving her Lovers to Madness, Hive Mind, Able to take over People like a Disease, Having a Weakness to Fire, Alpha Bitches, Absolute Immorality
  • Herald: Mr. Takagi
  • Allies: Fabius Bile, Junko Enoshima, SCP-953
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Johan Liebert, Eliza and Neil Reagan, Felix (Red Vs. Blue), Libby Chessler
  • Enemies: Kenzo Tenma, Black Jack, Tony Tony Chopper, Litchi Faye Ling, Sabrina Spellman, Ahri, The SCP Foundation, Yusuke Kitagawa, Ann Takamaki, The Hunter (Bloodborne), The Doki Doki Literature Club
  • Fears: Hall of Fire and Heat
  • Familiar to: H.P. Lovecraft
  • Tomie Kawakami at first seemed like a normal, albeit haughty girl. But, she is not actually "normal," for she has an uncanny charm that not only causes men to fall madly in love with her, but also causes them to eventually attempt to murder her via dismemberment. However, even death is incapable of keeping Tomie down, as she always ends up coming back the next day, seemingly unharmed. Some theorize that it is because she is an alien. Others suggest that she is just a monster with healing abilities. A few even believe that she is the Anthropomorphic Personification of domestic abuse itself. Whatever the case may be, the only thing that is known is that someone like Tomie is definately not "normal" in the slightest.
  • Upon her arrival to the Pantheon, Tomie immediately began trying to seduce as many male deities as she can. This ultimately culminated in a single, unknown male deity murdering her and chopping her body into pieces. However, each piece ended up regenerating into a brand, new Tomie, and soon enough, Tomies were crawling all over the Pantheon. Luckily, it was eventually discovered that she had a weakness to fire, and consequentially, the Pantheon had issued a strict "BURN ALL TOMIE REMAINS" Policy to prevent the Pantheon's Tomie population from growing out of control.
    • One of the main enforcers of this policy is the Hunter, who has begun organizing hunting parties armed entirely with Flamesprayers out of hopes that he could rid the Pantheon of Tomies with the exception of the initial deity. Nobody understands why he is so fervent about the issue, but some speculate that the Hunter believes that Tomie is another one of Doctor Iosefka's experiments.
  • In spite of their shared attributes, a few of the Alpha Bitches and Manipulative Bastards within the Pantheon have found themselves simply unable to stand Tomie beyond serious situations. Both Johan Liebert and Felix, while still admiring Tomie's manipulation skills, quickly resented her for her constant flirting and gaslighting, as well as her attempts to have them kill rival Tomies. While Eliza and Neil Reagan shared Tomie's taste in luxurious items, their friendship quickly ended when Tomie began insulting Eliza's looks. Libby sometimes hung out with Tomie to torment Sabrina Spellman, but even she thought Tomie was too insufferable for her liking.
  • Due to her strange healing abilities, Tomie is capable of regenerating from anything beyond a charred corpse. Even if she is reduced to a mere hunk of meat, said meat is capable of transforming back into Tomie. This has caught the eye of Fabius Bile, who, after learning of what had happened after her herald allowed a hospital to transfer her organs to others, immediately dissected Tomie, and began placing certain organs of hers into several patients within the House of Health and Diseases. Within a couple months, the patients that had received Tomie's organs had turned into Tomies themselves. As a result, a large section of the House had to be quarantined, and Tomie has been hated by many a good physician within the pantheon ever since.
  • In spite of her poor relationship with her "allies," Tomie has found herself enjoying the company of SCP-953. Probably helps since both woman happen to be demonic seductresses that use their looks and charms to draw many a deity to their untimely demise. Unfortunately for Tomie, this has made her a target of the SCP Foundation, who have taken an interest in Tomie's regenerative abilities.
  • For some strange reason, H.P. Lovecraft has developed an odd fascination with Tomie, and can often be seen studying the random Tomies from afar. While most have no clue as to why he does this, some have speculated that it is because Tomie bears a great resemblance to a character from a story that H.P. has read - a character who also seduces and drives men to madness.
  • Has earned the animosity of Phantom Thieves Yusuke Kitagawa and Ann Takamaki.
    • Ann, because of how Tomie reminded Ann of Mika, a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing who also manipulated people around at Ann's modeling agency. However, Tomies often keep their distance from Ann, as one particularly stupid Tomie had discovered the hard way that Ann specialized in Agi spells.
    • Yusuke, because a random Tomie had waltzed into an exhibit that was featuring Yusuke's artwork, and said that the woman in the Sayuri, a painting that depicted Yusuke's mother, looked "foolish." His rage only increased further when she began to push his other berserk buttons, such as his mannerisms or his artistic talent. By the end of the day, Yusuke had to be physically restrained by his fellow Phantom Thieves in order to prevent him from cutting the Tomie to pieces.
  • One day, a random Tomie happened upon the temple belonging to the Doki Doki Literature Club, where Yuri was working on a poem of hers. Having heard about how Yuri was a Cute and Psycho Yandere, Tomie immediately began to insult Yuri's poems and looks. While Yuri took most of this in stride, what ultimately set her off was when Tomie began to brag about how she'll steal the nameless protagonist away from Yuri. Infuriated, Yuri killed Tomie, and used one of her ornate knives to slice up her body into pieces. Consequentially, the temple was soon infested with Tomies, forcing the Pantheon to temporarily reinstate Monika's reality-warping abilities, who then proceeded to create character files for the Tomies for the sole purpose of deleting them. The rest of the Tomies within the Pantheon have avoided the DDLC ever since.

Quasideities

    Cesare
Cesare, God of Those Who Have Pale Skin, Messy Dark Hair, and Hollow Eyes
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cesare.jpg
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: His coffin
  • Theme Song: "Freeway Quintet" or "Introducing Cesare" (shared with his master/psychiatric Dr. Caligari
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil according to Francis, he's actually True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Has a very distinctive look with pale skin, messy dark hair and hollow eyes, a somnambulist, Brainwashed and Crazy by Caligari, killed the women he prophecized to die, is apart of Francis's hallucination, Twist Ending (Trope Maker)
  • Domains: Skin, Hair, Eyes, Mentalism
  • Allies: Dr. Caligari (his master according to Francis, is really his psychiatrist), L, Ryuk, Edward Scissorhands
  • Enemies: Light Yagami
  • Pitied by: Harley Quinn, Peter Parker/Spider-Man
  • Odd Friendship with: All of the Endless except Desire
  • Following his ascension, Caligari has been working hard to get Cesare ascended in order to get his most faithful minion into the Pantheon while the "real" Caligari wants to continue to treat his patient.
  • Many people wonder how Cesare manage to get money in order to run his temple. It was revealed that Caligari helped Cesare trademarked his look to pay for his treatment.
  • One of the most iconic character that has the "arm in the front" pose when he sleepwalking, some of the more mean-spirited deities sometime kidnap the "real" Cesare in order to exhibit him. Caligari is livid when he discover this and chase down anyone participated.
  • Harley Quinn feel pity for Cesare's condition and sometimes visits his temple to try out a new treatment for him.
  • Rick Blaine freaked out when visiting his temple because Caligari and Cesare are fictional characters in his universe. Blaine has been trying to avoid the both of them ever since.
  • Has been wondering into the House of Undead for being one of the Trope Codifier of the "hanging arm while walking" pose used by many of them. Of course, Caligari worked hard to prevent him from doing so ever since.
  • Because of the fact that L and Ryuk shares similar looks to him, Cesare has... interesting interaction with the cast of Death Note. While Ryuk and L are more amused by him than anything (after Ryuk got over the initial disappointment that he is too mentally ill to use the Death Note), Light Yagami has been observing Cesare just in case L decided to use the "evil" Cesare as a body double against his plan.
    • The same thing can be said for Dream of the Endless Morpheus because his most frequently chose human incarnation has the same appearance as Cesare. The rest of the Endless also have mostly positive reaction except for Desire of the Endless.
    • While people usually don't realize this (due to the fact that both of them aren't men of many words), Cesare and Edward Scissorhands had met due to their similar look and part way as friends due to their dark past.
  • Spider-Man also has great sympathy for Cesare because of his mental illness, but tried to avoid his temple as much as possible because he reminds Peter too much of Morbius.
