Mauro Ramos (Rio de Janeiro, February 13, 1961) is a Brazilian voice actor, and one of the most iconic voices in Brazilian dubbing.
He started working as a VA in 1989, being cast by radio actress Cordélia Santos to voice director Mário Monjardim, and hasn't stopped since, earning a reputation as one of the most versatile voice actors in Brazil. He's known to play The Big Guy types, especially large, friendly characters and huge, large villains, and being one of the largest hams in the Portuguese language (clashing with Guilherme Briggs). He's also most often the voice for Gary Oldman, Kevin James, Forest Whitaker, Geoffrey Rush, John Goodman, and Martin Lawrence.
In 2016, he moved from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo, but he still does some voice work in Rio.

Tropes Associated with Mauro Ramos and his works:
- Beary Funny: He is often type-cast as bears.
- Big Fun: His good guys tend to be as friendly as they are heavy.
- The Big Guy: He's often typecast as tall, large and/or fisically strong characters.
- Fat Bastard: Not himself, of course, but when his characters aren't the friendly counterpart of this tropes, they're usually large, heavy villains. He's the current Brazilian voice for the quintessential example for Pete's sake.
- Ink-Suit Actor: You'd be forgiven for assuming that Al McWhiggin was modeled after him rather than Wayne Knight. Some would say he also bears a resemblance to, er, Shrek◊ and James Spader.
- Large Ham: Is he ever! His characters are known to be larger-than-life, physically and vocallically imposing.
- The Other Marty: He was originally cast to voice Shrek in the first film, and had even finished all his lines before the distributor decided to cast comedian Bussunda for the role, with his work as reference for him. After Bussunda's death, he became The Other Darrin from Shrek 3 on.
