
Daniel Jacob Stern (born August 28, 1957 in Bethesda, Maryland) is an American comedic actor, director and writer.
His acting credits include Breaking Away, Diner, the first two Home Alone films and both City Slickers films. He also served as the narrator of The Wonder Years. His directorial efforts include ten episodes of The Wonder Years and the film Rookie of the Year.
His younger brother, David, is a scriptwriter, and his son, Henry, is a politician.
