A tanned and athletic girl with blazing red hair, who made it her goal to save as many people as possible like her idol, the original Buster Red. As Buster Red she can channel fire through her gauntlets and boots to fight.
  • The Berserker: Corrupted forms and Dark Hyper usually fall into this category for her, turning into a monster that causes destruction wherever she goes.

  • Hellfire: Pretty much what Dark Hyper Burnout represents.
  • Playing with Fire: Summons and mainly uses fire to fight in all her forms.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/buster_blue2_9.jpg
Buster Blue
A cool and arrogant beauty with long, blue hair and silver eyes, who’s the only other Buster enrolled at the same school as Ingrid. Initially she and Ingrid can't stand each other, though over time it develops into a crush on her teammate. As Buster Blue she wields a lance and summons water and ice to fight.
  • An Ice Person: Mainly uses water and ice when fighting. As Black Ice she switches to exclusively using ice.
  • The Corrupter: As Black Ice she quickly learns to corrupt humans into Heartless by turning them into ice statues and reshaping them.
  • Expy: One of her inspirations is Weiss Schnee. Both are refined beauties, who initially clash with their red-themed teammate. Several of her fighting techniques like snowflake glyphs and icicle projectiles are also taken from her.
  • Holiday Motif: As Black Ice she most closely resembles Christmas with her ice powers and the snow angel minions she creates.
  • In-Series Nickname: During her Black Ice-phase Valentina likes to call her "Bice".
  • Long Hair Is Feminine: Has long blue hair and is often described as a beauty.
  • Making a Splash: Creates and manipulates various forms of water to fight.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Ingrid’s red oni.
  • Reluctant Ruler: Ends up chosen as Head Maid Victoria's mistress against her will and tries to refuse before being given a (mental) makeover.
  • Sinister Scythe: As Black Ice she upgrades her main weapon of choice into a large scythe made out of ice.
  • Unwilling Roboticisation: In Chapter 14 she temporarily ends up being reforged into one of Vulcanne's robotic minions.
  • Walking Spoiler: It’s kinda hard talking about the Black Ice arc without mentioning that she's its main villain.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: The fight with Midnightmare reveals she's afraid of bugs.

    Makoto Maeda/Buster Green

  • Braids of Action: Wears them as Buster Violet.
  • Chuunibyou: While not as open about it as Eclair, the author has confirmed her as a closet chuuni. This can be mostly seen in her hobbies and attack names. Hyper Mode is when she lets out the chuuni as the Liberation Maiden and wields the weapons she created in her imagination.
  • Multi-Melee Master: In Hyper Mode she can summon and wield many different weapons she created in her imagination, while a couple are sword variations, they also include a lance, scythe, gauntlets, etc.
  • Playing Card Motifs: During the fight with Illumiere she's turned into the card servant Ace of Spades, giving her a spade-themed makeover.

  • Whip Sword: Later in the series her Buster Edge gets upgraded into one.

    Monica Ambrose/Buster Yellow

Monica Ambrose/Buster Yellow/Power Princess

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/buster_yellow.png
Buster Yellow
A boisterous and busty blonde coming from a rich family and being friends with almost everyone. Her favorite pastime is clothes shopping. As Buster Yellow she has impressive raw power with the unfortunate drawback of not being able to control it well. Therefore she mainly uses it to augment her strikes, not even necessarily those of her hammer, and for normal energy blasts.
  • Awesome, but Impractical: Her Buster Changer allows her to change her appearance into anything she wants. Due to high action focus and the direct way confrontations usually play out it unfortunately doesn't see much use.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Don't get on her bad side or you’ll get on the bad side of her hammer. Or worse, her fists.
  • Combat Sadomasochist: Aikyoshi’s “Heartless Art: Masochism Fist” temporarily turns her into a masochist who derives pleasure from being hit which in turn fuels her transformation into one of her minions.
  • The Ditz: The ditziest and often silliest member of the team. It's rare to see her without a smile on her face.
  • Genki Girl: Who but her? Her introduction features her excitedly pulling Raine from their school all the way over to the Buster Headquarters.
  • Girly Bruiser: The most traditionally girly member of the team… and also the first one to beat you up with a giant hammer.
  • Humongous-Headed Hammer: Fights with a giant hammer.
  • Long Hair Is Feminine: Has long blonde hair and is the most feminine member of the main characters.
  • Playing Card Motifs: During the fight with Illumiere she's turned into a heart-themed card soldier drone in a featureless full bodysuit.
  • Spoiled Sweet: She's incredibly rich, but also the kindest and most positive member of the cast.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: She has incredible raw potential as a Buster, but has issues controlling her massive powers.
  • Unwilling Roboticisation: In "Bad End: Sinnurse" she's turned into the robotic Nano-Nurse B-05.

  • Cool Helmet: Fully going with the tokusatsu-inspiration she wears a full head helmet as Fenraizer. Color and details adapt to whichever form she's using.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Her main character arc so far is about learning to rely on and trust others. She's gone from not wanting to be anywhere near the other girls to attending team meetings of her own accord.
  • Disease Bleach: Her hair turned a silver-y grey as consequence of the experiments done to her to turn her into a wielder of the Monster Driver as well as the effects it has on her body. Using Ragnarok makes it start to go white to indicate the strain that form has.
  • Henshin Hero: The Monster Driver allows her to transform between the various armored forms of the warrior Fenraizer.
  • In-Series Nickname: Monica likes to call her "Fenny". She may not like it, but at some point she just stops correcting anyone using it.
