The Transformers: The Movie uses quotes from A New Hope, Transformers (2007) quotes the 80's movie, Revenge of the Fallen quotes The Empire Strikes Back, Dark of the Moon quotes The Wrath of Khan, Age of Extinction quotes Jurassic Park, The Last Knight quotes Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Bumblebee quotes Bee Movie.
- In a variation, Rise of the Beasts quotes the first episode of Beast Wars. The upcoming Transformers One movie has its page all set and ready to go with quotes taken from Robots.
- Some characters have captions referencing the voice actors. - For the all-female combiner Victorion, the Torchbearers who form her and the issue of Combiner Hunters she debuted in, they're quoting Steven Universe quotes relating to the Gem's Fusion Dance for the former, and the theme song for the latter two (especially considering how the trio of female Cybertronians in the story - Arcee, Chromia and Windblade - roughly correspond to the Gems).

- The Tomboy character Hank from the 2015 Robots in Disguise wants to sell propane and propane accessories when she grows up.
- Autobot Spike's captions (save one) are all about Young Frankenstein, to go with the episode's Frankenstein references.
- Sentinel Prime's IDW comics section eventually all became quotes of Richard Nixon's Head from Futurama.
- Megatronia's page shows just how the wiki feels about the character by having the captions paraphrase My Immortal.
- One of Blurr's captions on his G1 continuity page reads "I'm faster than Tom Kennedy on Split Second (1972) and ''Whew!! I could beat the Gauntlet of Villains in less than 30 seconds!"
- All of Action Man's image captions are taken from "Ashes to Ashes"note ; Baron Karza, meanwhile, gets Dark Helmet captions on TFwiki and Darth Vader captions on the IDW wiki, and Rom gets Buzz Lightyear ones. Garrison Kreiger, meanwhile, gets Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
- Nearly all of the pictures on RID!Fracture's page contain quotes from Handsome Jack as captions.
- For his appearances in Robots in Disguise, Starscream's captions tend to quote DBZA Freeza.

- The Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) episode "Portals" has quotes from Portal 2. Appropriate, as they both involve the return of a homicidal robot from the previous installment.
- Micronus Prime's top image caption wonders, given the Pokemon-ish nature the Mini-Cons got during the trilogy, if said nature makes Micronus Arceus. Micronus is by nature, being a Prime, also the first Mini-Con.
- There's a planet named Garrus-9. Naturally, the captions mention calibrating.
- The Jointron Brothers page lets readers know exactly what they're in for by starting off with a Speedy Gonzales quote.
- Trickdiamond has the caption "Boop boop desu wa!", a robotic corruption of "Buu buu desu wa!" ("Wrong and wrong again!"), the catchphrase of a certain Dia Kurosawa. (That being said, Trickdiamond has a card suit Theme Naming with her fellow teammates, while for those not keeping tabs on the Love Live franchise, Dia Kurosawa has a Rock Theme Naming with her little sister Ruby.)
- All the image captions on the page of the Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) incarnation of Ped are quotes for Mandark, since he and Ped are both voiced by Eddie Deezen.
- The caption for the picture of Michael Dorn's page as well the Titans Return section of Fortress Maximus's page, centers Dorn being spoofed back on the South Park episode, Fun with Veal.
- Speaking of South Park, Fortress Maximus also had a caption from a lyric of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's student musical, Cannibal! The Musical.
- Hot Rod's page from The Last Knight references two fictional French characters in addition to having "French" styled quotes from The Transformers: The Movie. In addition, his main image caption quotes Hamilton, specifically Lafayette's lines from Aaron Burr, Sir.
- Both pages of Oilmaster and Optimus Primal's Beast Machines toys quotes lyrics from "Monkey vs. Robot" by James Kochalka Superstar.
- Every entry for every chapter of "The Dying of the Light" story arc from The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye has at least one image captioned by lyrics from the soundtrack to Hamilton note , as Hamilton really took off in 2016, the same year Dying of the Light was released.

- One of the image captions on Generation 1 Ultra Magnus's IDW page is the phrase "Clean it all, it must be cleaned", the mantra of the Bohrok from said franchise's second year.

- Rescue Bot Academy Whirl's image captions were originally Tiny Tina quotes (in a nod to her IDW namesake), before they were replaced with the more relevant (and age-appropriate) Harold the Helicopter.
- Owing to their reputation within the fandom, the image captions for the various Runabouts and Runamucks, along with the articles for the Battlechargers and their spotlight Marvel story, are filled with quotes from Beavis and Butt-Head. For reference sake, Runabout is (usually) Butt-Head and Runamuck is (usually) Beavis.
- The caption for the Shattered Glass version of Ark says the motto of MetsubouJinrai.net from Kamen Rider Zero-One, which is fitting considering both of those works involve the launch of a satellite named Ark.

- All of the captions for toys of Cobra Commander are quotes from Blue Laser Commander from Cheat Commandos, Homestar Runner's parody of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. For those keeping track at home, that's a Transformers fan wiki, using Homestar Runner jokes which make fun of G.I. Joe, to make jokes about an official character that is clearly meant to be an iconic G.I. Joe antagonist.
- The caption for the Earth Federation states that it "Does not possess Gundams".
- The caption for Jetfire's image on the Void Rivals issue #1 page and the Energon Universe section of Jetfire's page have captions reading "I have to go now. My planet needs me." and "Note: Jetfire died on the way back to his home planet." respectfully.
