- Alternative Character Interpretation: Amongst other things, according to the wiki:
- Cyclonus is Galvatron's neglected and abused boyfriend.
- Optimus Prime is suicidal. Also, Bayverse Optimus is a Blood Knight who collects faces.
- Tracks is gay.
- Treadshot is a cowboy.
- Drift is a weeaboo fan character (sadly, this wasn't that far off from canon when he was first introduced).
- Streetwise is a Shaft-esque beat cop.
- Ramjet likes toast.
- Stinger is the hot new sports car of the season.
- Heavy Barrel is Ned Flanders.
- They believe that Martin and Roland from the G1 episode B.O.T. are destined to become serial killers.
- Nemesis Prime hates Christmas due to a bizarre toy bio that describes him destroying Santa's workshop (yes, that's a real thing; the wiki is just as confused by it as you).
- Across multiple continuities, Barricade is obsessed with terrorizing LadiesMan217.
- Wildbreak is Knock Out and Breakdown's son.
- Broken Base: The revived "Ask Vector Prime". Some see it as great additions to the canon, others see it as a way for people to force their own headcanons into official status. Many arguments have broken out over this, and a similar feature for the Gobots has pointedly not been allowed to be catalogued.
- Demonic Spiders: Discussed. The monochrome variant of Donald Duck's Transformers toy is captioned "One of the most irritating Heartless enemies" with a link to the Kingdom Hearts Wiki's page for the Hot Rod mook from Kingdom Hearts IInote , itself an example of this trope as explained on that video game's YMMV page.
- Discredited Meme: The wiki's stance on JaAm has shifted over time. One of the more well-known Transformer memes for about two decades since the Turn of the Millennium, in 2020 the site re-evaluated it after a discussion on their Discord server and now considers it to be dated for its use of ableist humour, discouraging users from making references to it.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Shattered Glass Ravage, who's become the site's unofficial mascot.
- Fandom VIP: The Wiki is run by a few of them, including David Willis, Greg Sepelak and Trent Troop (the latter two are also the team behind the "Isle of Rangoon" web show).
- Fan-Preferred Couple: As some have noted, they seem to have a thing for Cyclonus/Galvatron and Starscream/Jetfire, though the former is mostly Played for Laughs.
- Genius Bonus: Some of the image captions and snark can fall under this, as the editors have a love of obscure references, particularly ones carefully themed to the subject being discussed.
- Heartwarming Moments:
- In general, the wiki has moments where the articles drop the snark and joyfully gush about how cool something is. The wiki is about a franchise that everybody editing on there passionately loves, after all.
- There are also pages for Real Life people who have worked on the series where it's made clear that the wiki admins, and fans in general, have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for. One big example is Peter Cullen, whose page has little to no snark and simply plays up how great of a guy he is.
- The featured article on the main page, which is usually changed at the beginning of each month, was changed in the middle of March in 2019 to the article on Beast Wars co-writer Larry DiTillio, in the light of his recent passing.
- The featured article for May 2020 was changed to Swindle from Transformers: Animated in the wake of the passing of Fred Willard.
- Much like the above, the featured article for January 2022 was changed to Derrick J. Wyatt, the character designer for Transformers: Animated, after his untimely passing in December.
- The Notes page for the entry on You (as in, any time a piece of Transformers media has directly involved the viewer) consists of three simple words: "You're pretty awesome."
- Their page on Steven Caple Jr., director of Rise of the Beasts, lists his filmmaking accomplishments as well as the fact that as of this writing, he is the youngest and first director of color to helm a live action Transformers film. All of this culminates in the page image caption: "We're so proud of him."
- The caption on the picture for Don Messick the voice actor of Ratchet, Gears and Scavenger in the original Generation One Cartoon."We can't bring ourselves to be snarky; he rocked"
- There's a sense of relief in the Notes section for former Tommy Kennedy actor Jacob Jansen about how it turned out he was doing fine and grew up to be just a normal guy, considering the unfortunate fates of many children who were professional actors.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- As the wiki itself pointed out on the page for Anthony Hopkins, his being cast in Transformers: The Last Knight was this in light of jokes they made about his most famous role for Rampage and Beast-era Megatron.
- In the intro for the page on the final issue of New Avengers/Transformers, the wiki joked about a crossover between Transformers and Terminator. Fast-forward 12 years, and, well... They fully lampshaded this of course."Remember when we pitched this concept as a JOKE?"
- For years, their page about trademarks stated that the addition of prefixes to names that are too common to trademark as standalone words (such as "Autobot Jazz") doesn't mean that you can add a prefix or suffix to a preexisting trademarked name to make it your own, otherwise for example Bandai would be able to sell stuff like the Power Rangers Transformers with their Optimus Prime Megazord and get away with it. Coincidentially, Hasbro bought out Power Rangers from Saban and Bandai in 2018, and as of now the statement has been changed to the Gundam Transformers with their Optimus Prime Gunpla to maintain the Bandai reference.
- Memetic Badass: Parodied and Played for Laughs with Animated Thundercracker and Joe Colton.
- John Barber, for un-snarling the Movie-verse's many Continuity Snarls.
- Buzzsaw, due to him kicking the asses of numerous people in the Marvel comics, including an infamous scene where he singlehandedly takes down Omega Supreme.
- Ron, a random homeless guy who plays an extra in the first Live-Action film.
- Frank Welker retains his reputation on the wiki, which refers to him not as a voice actor, but a voice god.
- Memetic Loser: Bay-verse Jolt, who was shoehorned into Revenge of the Fallen with minimal screen time, yet has quite a bit of merchandise, is played up as an impotent wannabe movie star in his page's image captions.
- Memetic Mutation:
- Bonecrusher hates everything. It got so widespread that it had to be banned.
- Know that Razorclaw's famous meme has been applied to every incarnation's entry. Lampshaded in the last one, but that's Transformers: Shattered Glass. Even a character who's a repaint of Razorclaw has for their caption, "Know that I am not Razorclaw!"
- Optimus Prime's desire for faces is referenced every third Prime or so. Even the page on Empurata gets in on it!
- Though just about all of the Furmanisms get used repeatedly, the most commonly found one is "Like a vast, predatory bird". Expect to find it waiting in any profile on a Transformer with a bird alternate mode, lurking like a patient bird of prey.
- TOAST!
- Prowl is a prick.
- Skywarp pushing people down stairs.
- "My Autobot counterpart Punch is nearby. Real nearby."
- "And every other toy was thrown away" is used whenever a highly-anticipated and really good updated toy for a character is demonstrated. Although this one became discredited, and is now in their list of captions not to use.
- Nightmare Fuel: The page for "Void". Just a simple white, blank page with a tiny picture of Unicron curled up in the center. Roll over the picture to get some totally funny alt text."I SLUMBER"
- Take That, Scrappy!: Tyrannocon Rex's opening caption."Hopefully she eats those two annoying kids (Zach and Gray, weirdly enough given they aren’t considered scrappies) from Jurassic World and NOT the kids from Camp Cretaceous."
- Unconventional Learning Experience: Given the Merchandise-Driven nature of Transformers, the wiki covers quite a bit about what goes into the making and sale of toys and how it affects the various media.
