    Jorel's Brother
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/berinjela_6.png
Everybody calls me Jorel's brother, but my real name is...
Voiced by: Andrei Duarte

A nameless 8-year old boy, and the youngest child.

  • Absurd Phobia: He used to have Anatidaephobia; the fear of being stalked by ducks. Turns out this was actually happening, except they were just his grandma's pet ducks and resolved the situation peacefully.
  • Action Survivor: He survived many of his bizarre and dangerous adventures throughout the series. He has fought against aliens, monstrous people, plumetted down a really deadly road, and more.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Almost every family member has one for him, except for the pets who just call him Jorel's brother, and Jorel who's almost always silent. More notably, Granny Juju calls him "bem" (dear) and Granny Gigi calls him "garooooto..." (booooy...)
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: He can be annoying towards his older brothers Nico and Jorel at times, though they more often are the ones who annoy him instead.
  • Animal Motifs: Ocasionally associated with ponies. In the Season 4 finale, he suddenly becomes one himself.
  • Agent Mulder: In "A Lenda da Mulher de Algodão", he believed on the "Cotton Woman Legend" along with all kids in school. She turned out to be just Billy Doidão in disguise.
  • All-Loving Hero: He likes basically everyone besides the antagonists.
  • Author Avatar: His appearance is based off of Juliano Enrico, which also has a more popular brother, and lived through similar events as those portrayed in the series. That said, he's also a representation of all the writers when they were kids, and Juliano himself confirmed multiple times the character's name is not the same as his.
  • Badass Pacifist: He defeats most of his enemies without violence, except when it's necessary (and it isn't someone else who does the fighting for him). For example, defeating the time-traveling dictator Clown Cosquinha by getting him stuck in his past again.
  • Bad Liar: He frequently makes up absurd lies to try to use them as excuses. When they're portrayed on-screen, they are animated in a sketchy art style.
  • Barbie Doll Anatomy: Downplayed; he has nipples and a bellybutton, but has been shown completely naked, and lacked any visible genitals.
  • Braces of Orthodontic Overkill: He's forced to wear prominent braces between "Shostners Shopping" and "Consequência ou Consequência?"
  • Book Dumb: He's occasionally stated to have terrible grades, but shows wit in other situations.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: The short to Nico's big and Jorel's thin.
  • Birds of a Feather: He and Lara met when both were toddlers and have always stayed together though their entire lives.
  • Catchphrase: Interestingly, most of his involve repeating another character's name.
    • Everybody calls me Jorel's brother, but my true name is...
    • Steve Magaaaal!
    • Ana... *sigh* Catariiiinaaa!!!
    • Laralaralaralaralaralara...
    • What, what, what?
  • Catchphrase Interruptus: Whenever he says "Everyone calls me Jorel's brother, but my real name is...", he is always interrupted no matter what, usually by Lara, and almost always by someone calling "Jorel's brother!"
  • Character Title: The show is named after him.
  • Cheerful Child: He acts like a happy, outgoing little kid.
  • Does Not Like Spam: He hates oatmeal.
  • Despair Event Horizon: Goes through one in "Elefante de Porcelana" after finding out his best friend Lara will leave the country, and he now will be alone.
  • Everybody Calls Him "Barkeep": Only known as "Jorel's brother". Has also been called "Nico's brother" and "Edson's son" on a few occasions.
  • Friend to All Living Things: He is usually friendly with everyone and everything, including his enemies/people who annoy him (when they aren't doing anything), such as Shostners, Samantha and Billy Doidão. In "Gincana Mortal", he is willing to go comfort his biggest rival, William Shostners, who is upset he doesn't have a brother.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: Due to being overshadowed by his brother Jorel, he wants to gain recognition.
  • Idiot Hero: He isn't very smart.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: The feminine boy to Lara's masculine girl.
  • Hidden Depths: Like his Granny Juju, he is significantly good at rapping.
  • Keet: A hyperactive and energetic little boy.
  • Kids Hate Vegetables: One episode, he's forced to eat broccoli by his mom which he dislikes and as a result he gets grounded without toys.
  • Loser Protagonist: Unpopular, dumb, weak, and nobody outside of the family knows and barely cares about his name, not even his friends, pets, teacher or principal.
  • Lovable Coward
  • Motor Mouth: When he tells a story, he speaks really fast.
  • Naked People Are Funny: He was seen fully naked once, and it was Played for Laughs.
  • Nice Guy
  • Not Allowed to Grow Up: He's turned eight years old three times in the series, a fact which his father notices and points out.
  • No Name Given: He is only called Jorel's brother by everyone outside of his family, even by the teacher and principal (who also call other students by their nicknames).
  • The Protagonist: Obviously, as the cartoon is named after him.
  • Protagonist Title: In this case, it's his nickname, but still named after him anyway.
  • Rubber Man: In the very first episode, he shakes his arms like noodles.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: The only girls he shows any feelings to are Ana Catarina and Lara, probably because he knows all the other girls are more interested on his brother Jorel and don't care much about him.
  • Sphere Eyes
  • Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: He is shorter than his love interest Ana Catarina.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: He dressed as a girl in an episode to participate in an all-female rollerderby team. When he was found out, he initially received a lot of flak from people, but quickly, much more others appeared to support him.

    Jorel
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/berinjela.png
Hehehehe...
Voiced by: Juliano Enrico (laughing), Jor-El Teixeira (speaking)

An extremely popular and handsome 13-year old boy. The middle child in the family.

  • Aerith and Bob: He and his mother Danuza have uncommon names, unlike most around them.
  • The Ace: He's good at basically everything.
  • Aloof Big Brother: In the first season, he was often a jerk towards his little brother, constantly bragging about how better he is.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: The thin to Nico's big and his younger brother's small. He is only thin in Season 1 though, being more muscular as of Season 2.
  • Characterization Marches On: In the beggining, he was much of a selfish jerk to his brother (even if mostly as a joke), but becomes much kinder to him later on.
  • Chick Magnet: Almost all the girls in the show (except for Ana Catarina and Lara) swoon over him.
  • Collector of the Strange: His trophies include things like "Winner at jumping over dog poop".
  • Cute Mute: He's a handsome teenage boy who has literally never spoken any more than one word on-screen.
  • Dull Surprise: Since he doesn't speak, whenever he gets surprised, all he does is make a concerned expression.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: The boys also idolize him, saying they want to be his businessmen or even be him, period. His Belezitos (a microscopic bacteria-like species that lived on his face, and were thought to be the reason of his beauty) are an entirely male species that also finds him handsome and dedicated their whole lives to admiring him.
  • Gag Nose: Inverted. He has a fairly large nose, but is considered the prettiest guy in town.
  • Leitmotif: An opera song.
  • Long-Haired Pretty Boy: One of his main traits is his long, smooth hair.
  • Middle Child Syndrome: Inverted. Jorel is the most outstanding and pampered of his brothers.
  • Nervous Wreck: An official book reveals he actually feels very pressured to be so perfect since everyone has so high expecations on him, and he never says anything to avoid being possibly disappointing.
  • Only One Name: His family surname is never revealed, with them being called "Jorel Family" instead, emphasizing how important he is.
  • Prehensile Hair: He's able to fight using his own hair.
  • Pretty Boy: Has long hair and is pretty much worshipped by everyone.
  • Proud Beauty: In some episodes, he's well-aware of how loved he is for his beauty and talent, and can be a real show-off as well.
  • Ridiculously Photogenic: Manages to look as perfect as always in any of his photos. Not even 4x4 pictures can manage to make him look weird.
  • Spell My Name With An S: While his real-life namesake was named "Jor-El", the character is named "Jorel" without the hyphen.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: He has the same dark skin and long, pretty hair his mom has. He clearly got his beauty from her.
  • Suddenly Voiced: He has exactly two lines in the whole series, from two episodes each, with no setup or the characters making it a big deal; read below for more detail.
  • The Voiceless: Instead of talking, he just laughs. His only speaking roles were in a tape of when he was a baby, with him saying his own name, and then saying "to be continued" in the Season 3 finale.
  • Younger Than They Look: He is only twelve years old (later thirteen), but in the first season, he was so tall he looked more like he was the same age as Nico.

    Nico
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/berinjela_1.png
Voiced by: Hugo Picchi Neto

A 17-year old boy who plays the drum in the band "Cuecas in Chamas". The oldest child in the family.

  • Beautiful All Along: He looks ugly mostly only because of his hair and the way he's dressed.
  • Berserk Button: Don't call him Mamilito.
  • Big Brother Bully: He often teases Jorel's brother. Though he actually likes him and got upset when Jorel's brother said he wishes he wasn't their brother.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: The big to Jorel's brother's short and Jorel's thin.
  • Cuteness Proximity: In "O Terrível Ataque dos Piolhos Mutantes", he's about to kill the mutant lice, but stops after noticing how cute they are.
  • Chick Magnet: He used to be one during his childhood, until he fell off a bike. After that, Jorel took over his role.
  • Childish Older Sibling: In spite of being seventeen years old, he's very immature and irresponsible, often more than Jorel's brother himself.
  • The Ditz: He's the dumbest in the family, even less smart than Granny Juju.
  • Dumbass Teenage Son: He's the oldest of the brothers and the most stupid of them.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Mamilito (little nipple).
  • Eyes Out of Sight: He had these since he was a preteen and even when he was a baby, but oddly, not when he was a kid. Only once he is seen with bare eyes, revealing they are very pretty, though his eye is seen popping out of the hair in a couple other times.
  • Gasshole: He frequently burps.
  • Held Back in School: Implied. He attends the same elementary school as his brothers, despite all the other students being kids or pre-teens.
  • I Was Quite a Looker: Was pretty as a 8-year old, but gained an uglier appearance after growing up.
  • Momma's Boy: He's the closest to Danuza out of the three brothers, while Jorel's brother is closer to Edson and Jorel is closer to neither of them.
  • The Un-Favourite: In the first episode, Edson appears to not think very highly of him since he stopped being the Child Prodigy of the family, saying he has to hide his face under some "stinky bangs".
  • Tuckerization: The only family member whose name is taken directly from his real-life counterpart, Federico Nicolai (except the character's full name is just Nicolau instead). Jorel would count as well had the hyphen being kept.

    Mr. Edson
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/edson.png
Winning isn't everything. Sometimes, seeing your enemy lose is cool as well!
Voiced by: César Marchetti
Formerly a revolutionary actor who rebelled against the clowns dictatorship in the old days, Edson is now an eccentric dad who likes to tell stories of his youth to his young son and protests against the repression. After finding out his entire life is a scripted animation, he is now in a quest to uncover the truth and defeat his greatest enemies: the Magic Coconut and the clowns.
  • A Degree in Useless: While not really useless, we don't see Mr. Edson using his degree in Chemical Engineering that much.
  • Blue Is Heroic: He wears a striped blue shirt and, as of Season 4, is the main hero of the fourth wall arc (alongside Jorel's brother and Lara), as opposed to the green of his biggest enemy, Magic Coconut.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Since Season 4, he does this the most often after finding out about the fourth wall.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Average for this series' default, but his well-intentioned advices are frquently outlandish.
  • The Cloudcuckoolander Was Right: Since the fourth season, he's one of the only characters who know the truth that their entire life is fake and they're being controlled.
  • Chubby Mama, Skinny Papa: Inverted. As of Season 2, Mr. Edson is overweight, while his wife Danuza remains fit.
  • Eccentric Artist: He's long time fond of avantgard cinema and stageplay.
  • Fourth-Wall Observer: Is the first character to find out he's living in a cartoon, later spreading the truth to others. Afterwards, he frequently breaks the fourth wall, noticing that his son can never reveal his name and sometimes asking to alter the theme song.
  • Foreshadowing: In Season 2, he throws a fit at the Magic Coconut for telling him what to do in a cinema ad. Since Season 4, he actively fights against the coconut, who turned out to be evil.
  • Formerly Fit: He was thin in Season 1, but gains a pot belly in Season 2.
  • Former Teen Rebel: Used to have a rock band with Perdigoto. In the early episode "Gangorras da Revolução" we learn that back in the clown dictatorship, he used to stage a musical play, "Ursinho em uma casca de noz", as protest. note
  • Happily Married: With Danuza.
  • Henpecked Husband: Early on, Danuza would often tell him what to do or say against his will. Averted since around mid-Season 2; they're now portrayed as a more loving couple, with Danuza being more tolerant of Edson's quirkiness and letting him be.
  • Large Ham: The show's creator Juliano Enrico himself noted that Mr. Edson is the biggest example of a character of the show gaining a different dimension than he had originally imagined thanks to his voice actor. César Marchetti gives Edson a very grandiose performance.
  • In Touch with His Feminine Side: He prefers to wear feminine clothes, claiming they're more comfortable for him.
  • Pungeon Master: He likes making dad jokes and puns, sometimes along with his younger son.
  • Good Parents: Him and Danuza are this to their three children. He's closest to Jorel's brother, while also loving his prodigy Jorel.
  • Go Mad from the Revelation: Ever since learning that he lives in a fictional world, he got obsessed with Breaking the Fourth Wall, pointing out and trying to subvert the show's tropes, and wanting to learn the truth.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: Sometimes seems to be paranoid about surveillance, thanks to his youth years under clown's government.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: He supports Jorel's brother dressing as a girl for the rollerderby tournament, claiming "it's much more comfortable".

    Mrs. Danuza
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/danuza.png
Voiced by: Tânia Gaidarji
The mother of Jorel and his two brothers. She's a fit gymnast and wrestler.
  • Action Mom: When her son misses the school bus, she chases it radically for him.
  • Aerith and Bob: She and Jorel have uncommon names, unlike most around them.
  • Hartman Hips: She has very thick hips, especially in her first season design.
  • Good Parents: Her and Edson are caring and supportive of all their three children.
  • Hero with a Unique Name: "Danuza" is a pretty uncommon name. It is based on Juliano's mother's name, Denize.
  • Hidden Depths: She's secretly a pro-wrestler.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: Very curved body, especially in her first design. Justified as she is a gymnast.
  • Lethal Chef: Her broccoli pie literally blew up.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Her and Edson, in a sense. Danuza is muscular, tough and assertive, with Edson being more calm and emotional. Edson also affirms he's more confortable dressing as a woman, while Danuza has never worn any feminine clothing on-screen other than her wedding dress.
  • No Name Given: In early concepts, she was simply known as "Hairdresser Mommy".
  • Straight Man: Downplayed. Edson isn't stupid, but Danuza is noticeable more calm and level-headed than her husband.
  • Super-Strength: Though it doesn't show up often, she's amazingly strong, being able to easily lift a chair or a whole couch with people sitting on it.
  • Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: She has a more conventionally attractive character design, in contrast with her husband who has some exaggerated proportions. Unsurprisingly, the one son that takes after her is by far the prettiest one.

    Granny Gigi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vovo_gigi.png
Your mom told you to not watch movies until late... But I'm the one who rules here!
Voiced by: Cecília Lemes
Danuza's mother. A grumpy woman who spend most of her days watching TV sitting in her armchair, especially Steve Magal movies.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: She has a pink skin.
  • Berserk Button:
    • She hates when anyone is in front of her TV, even when it's turned off.
    • Also, whenever someone goes near the several random doors scattered around the house. It's actually because some of them are actually portals to other dimensions; in the Season 4 finale, several alternate versions of Jorel's brother come out of them, and a few episodes earlier it's implied Rose came from a different dimension as well.
  • Catchphrase: "Garooooto..." (Boooy...), calling Jorel's brother.
  • Cheated Angle: Downplayed; in Season 1, she only appears on front angle when she's not speaking; most noticeable in "Caçadores da Figurinha Perdida", where she's seen going down escalators on two identical scenes, except she's speaking on one and not on the other, and only appears on a frontal angle in the latter. In this case, it's not because she looks weird, but because the animators didn't need to animate her mouth chart on front angle this way. Averted after Season 2.
  • Cigar Chomper: Her lollipop is meant to represent a cigar, since she can't actually appear smoking one. She's also shown to be very badass.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Quick to make a witty side remark, especially in response to Edson.
  • Eye Glasses: She had these before her Season 2 redesign. Averted now, as her glasses are transparent.
  • Never Mess with Granny: She is a martial arts expert, and trained several fighters when she was younger.
  • Older Than They Look: She was young during the Ancient Egypt times.
  • Only Sane Man: Of the human family members, she's likely the wisest.
  • Oral Fixation: A lollipop. It was originally a cigarette, until CN executives demanded it to be replaced.
  • Perpetual Frowner: A grumpy old woman.
  • Scratchy-Voiced Senior: She has a very raspy voice, which would be justified had her cigarette been kept.
  • Screw Politeness, I'm a Senior!
  • Sibling Rivalry: With her sister Ivone.
  • Shoe Slap: She hits Edson (and Perdigoto in an episode) with her flip-flop when he annoys her.
  • Time Abyss: She somehow lived for millions of years. Even more bizarrely, she has two adult children despite being absurdly old to even have kids.
  • Vocal Evolution: Since Season 2, her voice gets higher-pitched at times.

    Granny Juju
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/juju.png
Eat avocado, dear!
Voiced by: Melissa Garcia
Edson's mother. An adorable old lady who has an obsession with avocados and always feeds her grandkids with them so they can stay healthy.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: She has a green skin, probably referencing avocados.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: When she's called to a reality show, instead of focusing on the questions she keeps thinking about random things like "babosa" (aloe vera). This can be a Stealth Pun as "baboseira" in Portuguese refers to a stupid thing.
  • Animal Motifs: Ducks, even having three of them as pets.
  • Baby Talk: Jorel's brother meets her when she was a baby, and she says "avocado" in a babyish way.
  • Beware the Nice Ones/Beware the Silly Ones:
    • Don't mess with her garden.
    • Also, don't say anything bad about fruits or vegetables near her, especially avocados.
  • Big Fun: She's rather chubby, and also the nicest person in the world.
  • Brainy Brunette: Inverted. A few flashbacks show she used to have brown hair during her youth, and she isn't very clever.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Very random and naive.
Granny Juju: (singing) "I have to water the cactus. So the flower will be born. On the cactus. If i don't water the cactus, the flower won't grow. On the cactus."
  • Dumb Is Good: While she is laughably naive, she's the nicest in the family.
  • Fat Idiot: She's not an idiot, but sort of silly and naive, in contrast to Granny Juju who is lean and intelligent.
  • Feminine Women Can Cook: She's the most feminine woman in the family, and also the one who cooks the best.
  • Foil: To Granny Gigi, which is much smarter than her.
  • Hidden Depths: She's a great rapper, and even won a rap battle in "MC Juju".
  • Innocently Insensitive: Sometimes she does this without noticing, such as in "Curtição Sem Limites" when Mr. Edson shaves all his hair and, not recognizing him, she asks "is that ugly man staying for lunch?"
  • Nice Girl: The nicest character in the show.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Smiling is her default expression.
  • The Pollyanna: It's rare to see her not happy.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Avocado.

Extended

    Great-Aunt Ivone
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ivone.png
Voiced by: Tânia Gaidarji
Granny Gigi's snobbish sister.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: She is officially introduced in Season 4, but had appeared before in a Season 3 episode, which didn't mention who she was.
  • Recurring Extra: She appears as a background character in many Season 4 episodes.
  • Sibling Rivalry: Her and Gigi are not on very good terms.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Her face is similar to Granny Gigi, especially for the glasses and lips.

    Uncle Valtinho
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/valtinho.png
"You need to value your friendships!"
Voiced by: Caito Mainier
Danuza's brother who sells questionable toys for kids.
  • Acrofatic: In his first appearance, he does some impressive jumps for his weight.
  • Long-Lost Uncle Aesop: In "Elefante de Porcelana", he comes back just to tell Jorel's brother to value his friends.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He first introduces the robot Maquinito to Jorel's brother. Later on, it's revealed said robot will take over the world in the future.

Voiced by: Robson Nunes
A pianist little boy who's constantly pressured by his parents. The youngest of Pepeu and Ludmilla's kids.
  • Goth: After he's allowed to be himself, he starts dressing as a goth. However, he's back to his regular appearance in the Carnaval special.
  • "I Want" Song: He plays a song on the piano literally named "I Want", to convince his family to let him be free.
  • Nervous Wreck: He has massive expectations put on him to be better than his cousin Jorel, which made him grow up as a stressed out mess.
  • Nerd Glasses: He wears large blue glasses.
  • No-Neck Chump: His head merges with his body.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: He basically looks like a younger version of his dad except with more hair.

    Marcelinho
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/marcelinho.png
Voiced by: Hugo Picchi Neto
A teenage boy who's a clown apprentice. He's the oldest of Pepeu and Ludmilla's three kids.
  • Eyes Out of Sight: His pink hair covers his eyes entirely.
  • The Quiet One: He has very few lines.
  • Mirror Character: He's similar to Nico in several ways; both are the oldest of their three brothers, cover their eyes completely, and even have the same voice actor.

    Rovena
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rovena.png
Voiced by: Julia Cartier
A very strong teenage girl, who's the middle child of Pepeu and Ludmilla.

Pets

    Tosh
Voiced by: Hugo Picchi Neto
The talking family dog.
  • Amplified Animal Aptitude: Exaggerated. He's very wise and intelligent being able to speak fluent Portuguese.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Usually speaks with a stoic voice and is often sarcastic.
  • Exact Words: In "Dono de Casa", he tells Jorel's brother he has two news; Jorel's brother asks for him to tell the good news first. Tosh claims that he only said there were two news, and not that one of them was a good one.
  • Killed Off for Real: He passes away in the penultimate episode of Season 4.
  • Only Sane Man: Despite being just a dog, he is often wiser and more intelligent than the human family members.
  • Talking Animal: He can speak, but only talks with Jorel's Brother.
  • Team Pet: Jorel's brother's pet, though he isn't as noteworthy as the ducks.

    Zazá
Voiced by: Melissa Garcia
Granny Gigi's pet chihuahua.
  • Big Eater: She will eat anything she can.
  • The Ditz: Justified as she is just a dog after all, but unlike Tosh, she is extremely dumb.
  • Stomach of Holding: In the first season, she was able to eat and puke out just about anything, such as a helmet or even Jorel's brother himself. Averted as of season two, as now she only eats things that a small dog would logically be able to, such as a piece of paper or lollipops.
  • Women Are Wiser: Inverted. The male dog Tosh is highly intelligent at human-levels and able to speaks, while female dog Zazá is a complete idiot who can't think of anything other than eating or watching TV.
    Gesonel, Danúbio and Fabrício
Granny Juju's pet ducks, who are actually aliens from the planet "What", which is inhabited entirely by talking birds (mostly ducks). They can shoot powerful lasers out of their eyes.

Tropes applying to all of them

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshotter_topplayirmaodojorel_episdio2x13_dublado_1017.jpg
From left to right: Fabrício, Gesonel and Danúbio.

  • Absurd Phobia: They used to be afraid of humans, just like Jorel's brother was afraid of being stalked by ducks.
  • Action Pet: The three are pet ducks who also secretly fight evil.
  • Big Damn Heroes: In "Sucesso Interplanetário", the three show up to rescue Jorel's brother from the planet he had been trapped in.
  • Fantastic Racism: Most of their species outright despises humans and don't approve of ducks blending with them. The three don't hate humans though, as their owner Granny Juju is very nice to them.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: The three look like realistic ducks, in contrast to the show's usually more cartoonish art style.
  • Power Trio
  • Talking Animal: They're ducks who can speak Portuguese completely normally. Justified as they're not Earth ducks.
  • Team Pet: The most iconic pets of the family; the second theme song even includes a brief part where Jorel's brother is flying epically on the sky with the three.
  • Who's on First?: Their home planet is literally named "What", which makes it confusing when they say the planet's name, because it sounds like a question.

Gesonel

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gesonel.png
Voiced by: Hugo Picchi Neto

The leader of the trio. He's a secret agent, master of disguises and detective.

  • Absurd Phobia: He's afraid of being stalked by opera-singing kids.
  • Ass in a Lion Skin: He sometimes disguises as other animals.
  • Big Good: The leader of all the ducks and main rival of their biggest enemy, Klong.
  • Deus ex Machina: In some occasions, he randomly shows up from a disguise to help the characters.
  • Hidden Depths: Despite being a duck, he's very good at hand-to-hand combat, knocking Klong out with his bare hands.
  • Leitmotif: Whenever he takes off his disguises, his theme tune plays: "Gesonel, master of disguises!"
  • Master of Disguise: Gesonel can disguise as anything and anyone, even being able to imitate their voices. It isn't until he pulls of the disguise's zipper that it's revealed it's Gesonel disguised.
  • Muscles Are Meaningless: He's surprisingly strong using only his wings.
  • Pre Ass Kicking One Liner: "Protect yourselves!", right before defeating the antagonist(s).
  • Speech Impediment: He has a lisp and a somewhat nasal voice.

Danúbio
