TEMPUS Headquarters

    Regis Altare
  • While playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess he does some un-hero-like things, such as abducting and flinging a chicken, or tossing a boulder at some children.
  • Altare asking for help.
  • Altare collabs with Alban from Nijisanji EN in Terraria, and in the midst of their shenanigans they re-enact fast food drive-thru memes.
  • Altare plays Home Sweet Home with a twist where every time he screams, he's going to spin the wheel of punishment. The punishments are saying "Ara ara", doing a voice Tweet, giving compliments to his guildmates via DM, doing 10 squats and 10 push-ups, ending the stream etc. When he hits "end stream", he's dismayed because he really wanted to play the game, and to comply with this, he ends the stream which is around 21 minutes. Though a few minutes later, he did continue streaming the game but decided to forgo the wheel instead.
  • During his first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077:
    • He enters his car and the radio plays the song "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" which was used to tear-jerking effect in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Altare, who had already finished binge-watching the anime beforehand, feels sad and starts humming the song as he drives around. Then, he starts bawling and runs over a couple of civilians.
    • He gets into a sex scene and he desperately throws up Vesper's icon to as a Censor Bar to avoid getting demonetized. He also breaks his usual cool and starts screaming in desperation to drown out the characters' moans of pleasure. A little rewinding later, he tries to skip the cutscene, only to realize to his horror that it's unskippable.
  • The unarchived karaoke stream on 12/15/2022. The performer for that night ended up actually being Snailtare, a snail model that one of the fans rigged for Altare. Some song highlights were:
    • "Versace on the Floor" by Bruno Mars, where Snailtare reveals his shell is removable and sings as a slug, as well as replacing the word "Versace" with "snails".
    • "Take Me To Church" by Hozier, which Snailtare didn't actually know how to sing outside the chorus. Instead, he talk-sings the opening and mispronounces "church" as "snurch".
  • Final Fantasy XIV
    • Upon approaching the Amaro launch to go find Alisaie in Amh Araeng, Altare finds a massive line, which he cuts, causing several people to break out of queue to beat him up, despite his pleas that he has a FastPass. Came time to find Alphinaud in Kholusia, he waits patiently in line.
    • He has a Running Gag where, if several people do the "Show Left/Right"note  emote, he takes off his gear and does a dance in his smallclothes.
    • Altare gets to the Beehive and decides to dance on stage "for the guild". He's immediately humiliated when the chat starts sending in superchats like they're in a strip club (including Pako-sensei, Tsukumo Sana's artist) and he runs out screaming that he's no longer seiso.
    • After rescuing Y'shtola out of the lifestream (again), the crowd that follows him are all stripped down to their smallclothes, referencing how the former is Naked on Arrival. In a subversion from his Running Gag, he makes a run for it to assert his "seiso idol" virtues.
    • With Hakka, he boasts of the power he has in the guild, and states that he can swap guild uniforms to maid outfits, for instance. Hakka notes that it will greatly increase guild funds, which causes Altare to truly consider this decision, and even bring up "virgin killer sweaters". Hakka riffs on that with "Altare killer sweaters", and Altare temporarily de-mods him in retaliation, laughing all the way.
  • Altare's stream of Rock Simulator turns the intentionally dull regular gameplay into something much more interesting by making it about Snailtare giving it his all in climbing the rocks as fast as possible.
  • In Altare's 3D debut, he was accosted by goblins. When two goblins gang up on him, he hams it up as the Demon King and floats in the air with weapons around him...only for the power to fade and the weapons replaced with brooms and bats.
  • For April Fools 2024, Altare pulls pranks on Hakka, Shinri, and Ruze.
    • He puts a spike pitfall in Hakka's house and migrated some chickens to the roof.
    • Shinri is led to a scavenger hunt that leads to a trapped chest. When Shinri finds the chest two weeks later, most of the floor in front of it was already gone, exposing the trap.
    • A redstone nuisance system is added beneath Ruze's Criminal's Cut. He also added a TNT trap as well, but Ruze did not fall for it.

    Magni Dezmond
  • Dez hit the ground running shortly after debuting on Twitter, posting a "Potion Seller" meme as well as admitting to making fanart of Sonic the Hedgehog and BIONICLE.
  • Fans attached a variant of "It's Morbing Time!"note  to Dez to the point where both YAGOO and Calli got in on the fun, much to Dez's confusion and/or horror, especially since he, the normal human, got saddled with the Morbius meme and not their resident may-as-well-be-a-vampire, Vesper Noir.
  • Dez's cloak is made up of four gigantic hands, all of which are fully prehensile. While he does use them for potion brewing and handling delicate equipment, he also uses them for more Mundane Utility stuff in his loading screen art, like fanning himself, filing his toenails, shaking his drink, and shredding a mean guitar riff, at the same time.
  • What's the tag Dez assigned for his livestreams?
Dez: "It's #MagginTime." (looks to the camera with a look that says "I'm dead on the inside because of you people.")
  • After a stream spent idly chatting and drawing a Sonic OC, he inevitably sparks the Sonic fanarts. Some of them get a little too spicy for his liking, and he has to ask them to dial it down.
Dez: OK MAGNATION these Sonic OCs starting to look a little uuuuuh... lets ease on the brakes just a TAD
Calli: you did this to yourself
  • Dez kicked a hornet's nest of reactions when he drew a picture of himself making fellow Holostars member Axel into a Nina-fied chimera, drawing many reactions from not just Hololive but other vTubers, including VShojo and Nijisanji. This picture would also be used as the thumbnail for his first Spore stream, just to rub it on his general audience.
    • Bae can't believe he pulled out the Nina reference. Magni tells her he could use more lab rats, prompting her to beat it.
    • Calli has a "No. Just… No" Reaction.
    • Magni tells Ollie he'll turn all of them into furries, as payback for noticing the Cutie Mark on a Pony fanart looked like a slap mark. Ollie tells him she was that close to blocking him on Twitter.
    • Axel himself reacts to the picture with "ayo..." Magni tells him to behave or he'll transform him into something worse.
    • Zentreya laughs at first that she got the reference before she lets out a Big "NO!". Magni tells her he wanted a gecko for his experiments, but he does need a new battery for his equipment. Zentreya doesn't mind, but tells him to wait for the weekend.
    • Vestia Zeta asks why he did this. Magni replies For Science!.
    • Ironmouse hates everything about it.
    • Regis Altare lets out a Rapid-Fire "No!".
    • Reimu Endou just says "Oh my god." Magni replies "No, only MAGNI now!"
  • His first stream of Thief Simulator has him hype up the audience with a hammy rallying speech during the intro loading screen... only for his voice to break when he switches to the stream proper.
Dez: Uh oh... I think I just shot my voice. [Coughs] I think I magged a little too hard there.
  • In Magni's first Spore stream, he frames the gameplay as remaking Axel into a new organism.
    • The stream proper starts with him picking the hardest difficulty and then getting punished for his hubris throughout the playthrough. While he's panicking his exclamations are just non-stop Accidental Innuendo.
    • After all the action he summarizes the stream in a succinct Tweet:
"Our goal: Evolve Axel to the point that he can read. Current status: Failed."
      Axel: ayo wtf
Noir: You... You were debating whether he needed eyes...
  • His first stream of Sonic Adventure 2 is off to a hysterical start when he makes an impression of a Dragon Ball Z recap narration during the loading screen, with a hilariously on-point imitation of Cell and Frieza's voices in Dragon Ball Z Abridged. Near the end of the stream, Magni randomly asks the chat if they've seen a .gif image of Sonic and Shadow kissing.
  • His Fight Crab collab with Axel, being a game with an inherently silly premise, is packed to the gills with comedy:
    • Magni's loading screen was set to the game's opening "Knight Crab" instead of "Fiery Greatsword," his usual BGM. It's an intense rock piece with lyrics ripped straight out of an anime for a game far too ridiculous for anyone to assume it's for its soundtrack, so chat immediately starts assuming it's a new song by Axel or Magni while guessing who's on the mic. Then it cuts to the title screen and everyone learns that yes, the opening song they just heard was the title theme for a game about crabs beating each other to death.
    • After winning stage 1-5, Magni accidentally grabs a booster engine from the enemy defeated that round. It immediately powers on, sending him into the stratosphere while screaming for Axel at the top of his lungs. Meanwhile, Axel himself has to fight the stage boss alone, and is utterly confused once the booster runs out of fuel and Magni plummets back to the ground.
    • During stage 2, Magni keeps slipping off the table to his doom to Axel's disappointment.
  • Magni expressed on Twitter about his dreams of hosting a Beyblade tournament, and catching Altare and everyone off-guard.
Magni: My dream is to have a Holo Production beyblade tournament. Bracketed matches involving all branches. With shout casters and visuals like a hardcore esports event.
    Altare: we'll make it happen
Magni: I'm gonna trick out my beyblade with razor blades
  • Altare trolls Magni by taking away Magni's longest stream record for more than an entire hour. Magni's not amused.
  • Magni tries his darnest to avoid the un-seiso dialogue options in Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, but sometimes the game won't let him have his way. In one instance, he interacts with a hippie, given the option to get a woman into bed, stay healthy, or just change the subject. He picks the obviously cleaner option, only for the game to go sexual anyway, to his dismay.
Magni: How are you gonna do this to me!? I picked the seiso option!
  • During his Undertale playthrough:
    • In the Bad Opinion corner, he interprets Alphys's take on Mew Mew Kissy Cutie Season 2 to be about Aldnoah.Zero Season 2.
    • After polishing RG 02's armor and forcing him to strip it off, he notices RG 01 getting flustered. He uses "clean armor" a few more times to "pat RG 02's chest like a muscular bongo" to taunt RG 01.
    • When he gets to Mettaton's news report set, he realizes Mettaton is as much of a Large Ham as he is with his intros, and begins narrating Mettaton with similar gusto. He even sings along in Mettaton's musical number!
    • When Muffet ensnares him, he realizes she's the one behind the Bake Sale and the overpriced Spider Food and is all ready to fight her because "nobody scams Magni!"
    • While learning of how Burgerpants got his name, Vesper chimes in calling him a "zatsudan (chat stream) specialist". Magni notices and then gives Burgerpants a much lower voice to mimic Vesper's.
    • When he convinces Mettaton to turn around and expose his switch, the chat bursts in a flurry of "GET ROTATED". When Mettaton EX is unveiled, Magni excitedly exclaims how much this new Mettaton is like him!
    • On Mettaton's essay question he hesitated a bit and only gets out a "i love his big" before running out of time. Chat begins theorizing what he would have typed as a flustered Magni stammers out "big head!" On the second attempt he can only come up with "i oen the youp me and you mettaton yea!"
    • Magni reaches the 10,000 ratings threshold to spare Mettaton. Chat notices that it's just like a VTuber reaching a milestone and opening up superchats, and starts reacting to Mettaton ending his show like he's "graduating".
  • While playing Sonic Frontiers, Magni wins a lot of tokens from the fishing minigame and decides to spend all of them on defense buffs to turn Sonic into a tank. He rushes off to find the nearest enemy to test his new stats on, only to still lose all his rings in one hit despite the buff. Magni is in utter disbelief while Vesper, who joined the stream earlier, absolutely loses it.
Vesper: (in between laughter) What is Defense?! Like what is it?! You just wasted all of your tokens! (intense laughter)
  • Magni's December 20th, 2022 Minecraft stream eventually devolves into a Cult initiation ritual with a muppet-like figure named Magmo Dezmo. It gets so out of hand that Amelia, who was silently watching him, had to voice her discomfort... only to post an emoji of a monkey holding a hammer. Magni wisely knocks it off after that.note
  • During his Super Magbot stream,
    • Magni begins to roast one of the new members, Gavis Bettel, and makes some false claims that he speaks 3 languages such as Latin, the language that the Na'vi speak in Avatar and Morse Code, and doesn't understand English.
    • Then, he complains that because there are 2 new purple guys (Bettel and Hakka) in Tempus, he wants them to be on the stand for his next Judge Magni skit because the color of his Discord name changes from purple to something else. He even wonders why there's no green member yet. If he ever collabs with them, he would force them to be on a chroma filter that would turn them green. He also finds it hilarious that if Bettel is green, he would look like the Once-Ler from The Lorax (2012).
  • During an art stream, Magni goes into an aside about Tumblr Sexymen — specifically the audience calling Bettel a Tumblr Sexyman — and decides to set things straight, speaking from experience: Tumblr Sexymen are not conventionally sexy, and the title is supposed to be ironic. Bettel isn't a Tumblr Sexyman, he's just a regular sexy man!
  • For Valentine's Day 2023, he shows off the fruits of his chocolate-making stream, including a goofy-looking chocolate Magmite. The next image is the same plate, but with the chocolate Magmite shattered and jam spilt everywhere.
  • Magni held a drawing stream where he creates drawings based on a singular line sent in by other holomems, with the very loose direction of "you draw whatever, I finish it". Shien and Axel (who technically drew four lines!) send in what equates to a Gag Penis, and Magni is not amused. He does manage to generate something completely un-phallic out of them, at least.
  • Magni's June 19th, 2023 stream ends with a redirect to Scarle Yonagumi's stream, who had currently been talking about "secret sluggy snacks."explanation (NSFW) Scarle loses it, and it proceeds to get much worse from there as chat decides to give the Magmites the most embarrassing crash course yet. But even that's not enough, as Hakka and Flayon also show up to the stream to give a piece of their mind — though Hakka at least gets a dose of karma when he's tricked into Googling "Bad Dragon" in Spanish.

    Axel Syrios
  • An innocent Twitter comment Axel made to Nodoka gave host to a whole squadron of Romantic Wingmen coming in to build him up as a kind and heroic Memetic Badass who has personally helped them out. Axel, humble and benevolent that he is, took it in stride:
Axel: Damn I unknowingly saved and lent my Lamborghini and Ferrari to like the whole nation wtf hahah
    • And of course, the rest of the boys jumped in to boost him up:
Vesper: Hey Axel thank you for rescuing me from those sinister masked men that were trying to kidnap me, without you watching my back I'd probably be in an interrogation chamber somewhere. You're the best, bud.
Magni: Hey Axel, thanks for carrying me on your back through 12 miles of dense forest after I broke my leg and killing that brown bear barehanded to feed us. Your physical stamina is impressive.
Altare: yo dude, i just wanted to say thanks again for lending me the money to start the guild! you're a great guy and we really needed that $10 million, you're a true homie 🧡
  • During his playthrough of Doki Doki Literature Club! (part 2, part 3):
    • Throughout the entire series, chat is left sweating bullets as Axel predicts every major twist in the story with uncanny degrees of accuracy.
    • From Sayori complaining of the protagonist becoming a NEET if he doesn't get into a club, he decides that the protagonist is high-school Axel, who was pretty popular back in the day.
    • He catches on to the character archetypes that the cast fits into and waits for the Bromantic Foil to be introduced to complete the typical eroge cast.
    • He starts drawing parallels between the Literature Club and his TEMPUS guildmates, starting with Yuri and Vesper, then Monika and Altare. He draws parallels between Natsuki's love for manga and Magni's history with Sonic, before finally deciding that he is Sayori, being the silly friendly one of the group.
    • Going off the Altare parallels, he calls out Monika as someone two-faced and predicts that she'll start intervening if he gets too close to the others. Her pose where she starts straight at the viewer (compared to the three-quarter angles of the other girls) also slightly unnerves him, as if he's talking to an AI.
    • Before the first poem-sharing session, Natsuki makes the protagonist promise to return a manga volume the next day. The chat explodes in "TOMORROW" much to Axel's confusion.
    • Axel triggers a CG event with Sayori and is definitely enjoying the view. He goes on to describe the fantasy of a girl that he crushes on coming over to do up his necktie... and then Monika interrupts the moment, much to his chagrin.
    • Axel goes off the "Monika is an AI" line of thought and blends it with Curiobot, Magni's character from the D&D stream a couple days ago. He also extrapolates it to turn Monika's theoretical "boyfriend" into John Magginton, Magni's personal Butt-Monkey side character.
    • Monika's second poem is "Save Me", and after sharing the poem she goes on to break the fourth wall with an Ominous Save Prompt (which amounts to nothing). A paranoid Axel goes on to save the moment in six different slots.
    • When he analyzes Yuri's second poem and deduces it to be about self-harm, he laments that he should have played this game in high school and used this poem as an easy way to amaze his teacher. Chat reminds him that his idea amounts to plagiarism.
    • Axel takes an aside to talk about his house getting a small ant problem, which Magni warned him not to talk about, since any mention of "Antnation" will cause the chat to fill with ant emojis. No points for guessing what chat does.
    • When Monika says that he and Sayori are a dynamic duo, Axel excitedly says that he has the same kind of dynamics with the rest of Tempus - "father and son" with Vesper, "shiny and spicy" with Altare, and "dick and balls" with Magni.
    • When he ends up going to prepare cupcakes for the festival with Natsuki, the building romantic tension gets him increasingly smitten with her (he calls this "succumbing to Takeshi"), even though he wanted to devote to Sayori. Chat calls "high school Axel" out for being a "playboy". When Sayori walks in on their Almost Kiss moment, a very flustered Axel tries to frame it as if it's Not What It Looks Like, and then blames the game for railroading him to these decisions.
    • As he chooses to reciprocate Sayori's feelings after her Anguished Declaration of Love, he goes to predict Natsuki would get jealous and somehow die from his confession, but he'd rather take that option as opposed to Sayori killing herself from the "best friends" option. Why? He's "a loyal man." Bear in mind he was moments from jumping ship to Natsuki one scene ago, and when he passionately tried to convince Sayori of his devotion he accidentally capped off his speech with "Trust me, Natsuki."
    • As the protagonist gets to the clubroom and is greeted by Monika, Axel, still seething from a grudge against her, threatens to cut off her ponytail and replace it with a dog turd. But he can't help but cap it off with a "Nice thighs, though."
    • With Sayori's suicide, Axel is sent into extended Stunned Silence. After he recovers, chat teases him with "hang in there!" jokes. He then gives a good look at the close-up of her face and muses that "even if she's dead, she still looks cute." This line of thought causes chat to collectively double-take.
Superchat: yeah get that corpussy king
Axel: [chuckling] Oh my god, this fucking superchat... How can you say that, oh my god... I'm not into corpses!
    • The second act starts up with Sayori's character file missing, and chat begins filling with "Who's Sayori?" while Axel does his best to hold on to his memory of her.
    • When the protagonist, once again, notes that the Literature Club "is full of incredibly cute girls!" Axel makes a point that his high-school self was kinda like that, and cringes so hard that he saves this moment in all 54 save-slots and then ends the stream at this point.
    • When Axel reaches the "Just Monika" scene, an audience member posing as Monika herself joins the membership, and then Superchats Axel. Things get awkward and personal when Monika starts talking about Nodoka, and the stream briefly dies. When things get back online, Axel nervously explains that he's trying to distract Monika so that Nodoka doesn't "get involved."
    • After deleting Monika and seeing Sayori restored, Axel goes on to make twenty copies of the Sayori character file so that he'll not lose her again.
  • Axel might as well be the luckiest man alive when his 2022 birthday stream received the attention of Nodoka and A-chan at once. Then came Ollie, who straight up malds at Axel because it's obvious she can't top Axel's elation after the call-in with Nodoka and A-chan. Axel digs himself deeper when he comments how her gift (a pigtail prop to put behind Axel's avatar) could probably make her more ojou-like, apparently forgetting that it's exactly what her Mafia Princess outfit went for.
Axel: Ollie, when are you gonna get drill hairs? Then you'll be the perfect ojou-sama if you could get, like, your hair as like drills.
Ollie: Bitch, that was my new outfit.
  • The privated Christmas Cake stream. Axel tried baking a Christmas cake from a recipe by his mom (that he was also having trouble reading the kanji for) and it goes as well as expected. The chat spent most of the time trying to help him make the batter and icing correctly, and Axel accidentally exposing parts of his body repeatedly. The cake turns out as expected.
  • Axel tries out Ring Fit Adventure at the start of 2023 and claims that it's too easy before putting the difficulty to extreme. Suffice to say, Axel quickly realizes that he's out of shape, and even berates his viewers for not suffering along with him.
Axel: [Upon seeing the replies refusing to work out with him] What the fuck, you lazy fucks! It's New Year! Get yo' ass outta bed!
  • After the announcement of four new members of Tempus, Axel is excited to assert himself as a senpai despite Altare's insistence that such a dynamic would not be used for the new members. Though it backfired when several of the members such as Bettel and Flayon roasted him.
  • Ladies and gentlemen, the Kermie saga.
  • In celebration of TEMPUS's first six months since the group debut, Axel did a cooking stream that nearly got privated because of his antics that necessitated the intervention and censorship from not one, but two managers (one of which donned a gorilla suit). Patties being shaped into penises, anyone?
  • Axel plays Kuukiyomi, with the usual chaos that ensues.
    • One scenario involves a student needing to stand and bow for his teacher. Axel instead decides to go for intimidation:
    The game: Now bow!
Axel: And I stand there, MENACINGLY! Now Sensei must be shittin' himself.
Frontman: So my grandma passed away a few days ago...
Axel: (keeps making the crowd cheer) YEEEAAHH! MINE TOO! TWO YEARS AGO! YEAAHH!
    • Axel repeatedly ditching his girlfriend to go watch mecha shows (and in one case even leaving her on the spot for a girl with a Gundam head on).
  • After Bae's Genital Jousting stream, Axel would go on to play the same game. Unlike Bae, "Dick 'n Balls connoisseur" Axel embraces the game's Vulgar Humor as much as his manager would let him.
Stream description: As the legend said, "Ore wa ochinchin daisuki nandayo"
    • "For those of you guys who do not know how a dick works, they are not used to knock apples off trees."
    • He reacts vehemently to the way the game depicts "eating" and "brushing teeth".
    • Share the Male Pain is in full force this stream:
      • Axel barely makes it 10 minutes into the game before pricking John's tip on a cactus.
      • He gets a paper cut on John's tip.
      • He accidentally bisects someone else at the skating rink... and John later suffers the same fate. Everyone flinched!
      • Axel gets John on a treadmill going at max speed, flinging him into the mirror behind. Repeatedly.
    • Kuga Leo of Neo-Porte comes into chat and also can't believe his eyes, to chat's collective amusement. Hakka and Flayon also come in later on and are equally amused!
Leo: YOUR ASSHOLE IS LIKE A MAGNET WTF AM I WATCHING
      ...
Hakka: OH GOD CLOSE YOUR FUCKING EYES! HAKKITOS CLOSE THEM!
Flayon: why is it not circumcised
    • The first thing he tries when he sees a fellow peen is to try and stick it in their butt. He's disappointed that he can't do that. He does notice the out-of-control dildo is two-sided, though, and while Wreaking Havok he tries to get another peen to "join him".
    • He gets stuck on the turnstile and tries to circumvent it... only to notice that John's balls are too big.
    • He addresses the swan in the bathroom as "Bettel." The name sticks whenever the game revisits it.
    • He spends a really, really long time rejecting matches on the dating app, before relenting at chat's behest.
    • Game objective "Don't embarrass your date." Axel decides to do the direct opposite and screw around with the scenery. A brawl later breaks out, and Axel is excited to join in... but immediately changes his mind when a knife is being pointed at him.
    • After the game establishes Sam as John's supportive best friend, Axel starts shipping the two, especially for the gym chapter. Not helping matters is him accidentally getting John in a compromising position with Sam.
    • He discovers a syringe of steroids at the gym and wants to try injecting them. In the subsequent chapter he's still insistent on finding steroids, going as far as to dumpster-dive near the bars in search of used syringes.
    • For all the innuendo the game throws his way, he draws the line at the buttplug weight machines.
    • Towards the end of the stream, Axel thinks the protagonist and his best friend are going to end up together, ignoring that Sam is a married man, and the lesson of the story is "Bros before hoes".
    • The post-credits scene, where John sincerely apologizes to Harmony, is undermined by Axel forgetting her name.

    Noir Vesper
  • To start, Vesper holds a Dad joke tournament.
    • He shows his ineptitude with Twitter by realizing that he can't pin a Tweet made by someone else. So he's taught that he can quote retweet the winner... and in the process learns that he got ratio'd by Magni. He swears to one day ratio Magni in turn.
    • The one that really gets him (and wins the tournament) is a Yahoo search engine joke. He then proceeds to yodel "YAGOOOOOO!" like the old jingle and cringes at himself afterwards.
    • After choosing the dadliest of jokes, he quote-retweets it and pins it on his channel... and promptly learns that he just ratio'd the person who made the joke.
  • Vesper hosts a ancient meme compilation, and talks about memes from the 2000's era. His final meme is The Game, which he unveils with no explanation while watching and laughing at chat's collective anguish.
  • During a chatting session, Vesper mentions various series that he would like to have a watch-along. Someone suggested the dub of Ghost Stories, which immediately got him laughing.
Vesper: Ghost stories dub? There's no way I cou- no. Even as a watch-along where I'm not streaming it, there's no way. There's no way. There's no way I could watch the Ghost Stories dub, no. (Laughing) That-that.. that's... you're trying to get me bonked, buddy.
    Chat: Graduation speedrun, let go!
  • To celebrate his monetization, Vesper does a hot sauce tasting stream, something that his manager warned him against. He's fine for about the first five (even when he coats a cold chicken nugget in a tablespoon rather than a teaspoon of the stuff) but then starts to regret his choice for the more intense ones and has to taste-test smaller amounts of the last few sauces. He ends off barely surviving one at 2 million Scoville Heat Units, and in the post-relay collab he's muted for most of the video while desperately trying to recover.
    • In the lead-up to this stream, Magni pre-emptively mourns for the loss of their librarian.
      • Vesper's response via Twitter once he's finished the stream.
        "I lived, bitch."
    • As Vesper proceeds through the list he notices how each hot sauce name gets increasingly grandiose and threatening. He suggests that if he comes around to creating his own hot sauce, he'll name it "Tetrapot Melon Tea".
    • The ninth hot sauce, "Psycho Dingo" (666,000 Scoville Heat Units), is so strong that Vesper would rather spin Magni's Mystery Wheel and drink a random potion from it.
Vesper (calmly): I am in excruciating pain.
      (Vesper downs some milk)
Vesper: Ze milk! It does nothing!
    • The final hot sauce ("The Last Dab"), clocking in at 2 million Scoville Heat Units, is so painful that when he gets to tasting it, he hallucinates seeing Calli standing before a bright doorway, and chat begs him not to follow.
    • During the post-relay collab Altare reveals that Axel actually dropped in Vesper's chat and wished he actually touched his eyes. Vesper breaks his silence to swear to force Axel to chug a bottle of the strongest hot sauce on their first off collab.
    • About 6 hours after the hot sauce stream, Vesper's guts show him the consequences of his actions.
      Vesper: No, not like this
Calli: i pray for your swift recovery
Magni: Bet you're maggin real hard now, Vespy
      Vesper: Dios mio
    • His stream title:
(The next one after that) I am weak like kitten
  • During the 2022-09-23 chatting stream, Vesper, when asked about the cursed Psychiatry Help collab with Kronii, reveals that he was truly not prepared for the magnitude of the cursed content. To be fair, even Kronii asked him beforehand how badly he wanted things to go, and he told her to cut loose and make him as uncomfortable as possible. For his own sanity, he jokingly tells chat that he'll stop collab-ing with the girls so can stay at least ten years in holostars.
  • While playing Solasta: Crown of the Magister, Vesper dies at the final combat of the tutorial level.
    • Upon arriving at Caer Lem, a cutscene plays and when the scene switches to a tower, he notices that the tower is now sideways (thanks to the Cataclysm in-universe) and instantly claims that the tower got rotated.
  • While playing Needy Streamer Overload:
    • When the 10K subscriber milestone celebration comes up, Vesper reveals that he's never done one of his own. His manager did prompt him to do one, but he just... didn't.
    • He mistakes P-Chan to be just Ame's manager, and it takes him until almost the end of the game to realize that P-Chan is supposed to be her boyfriend too.
    • He gets the (Un)happy End World ending, and as KAngel shows that she's bought a new home with her streaming income, Vesper comments "I'm in her walls!"
  • During his VA-11 HALL-A playthrough:
    • Right off the bat he deals with Donovan who says some really chauvinistic things. Vesper is irritated and starts rubbing Donovan's bald scalp.
    • Calling back to his intervieew ith Bettel, he intends to get Donovan "schwasted" until he passes out in front of the toilet and people have to pee over him, going "double rainbow arc all the way what does it even mean."
    • Jill and Vesper have such similar snarky energy that he frequently claims "she's just like me fr fr!"
    • For any customer that he gets irritated with, he gets them as drunk as possible, going "full send" on karmotrine at any opportunity. He even proposes his personal drink "The Vesper" which is just pure karmotrine!
  • In his Papers, Please playthrough:
    • When he starts running low on funds he alternates between giving up food and heat to stay in the black. The chat begins roleplaying as Vesper's needy children, complaining of being cold or hungry depending on what he's given up.
    • Vesper's in-game son gets sick a lot to the point where it starts to irritate him.
      • Vesper considers leaving the son for dead at times and even considers the lower upkeep costs if he does so. Chat, while roleplaying as the son, repeatedly begs Vesper to spare them, bursting into "HE LOVES US!" whenever he begrudingly still buys the medicine.
Vesper: He's sick a lot! Maybe nature needs to run its course, right? I've never seen my mother-in-law get sick! She's fit as a fiddle! ... (reading chat) "Just make a new son 4head!" Exactly!
        ...
Vesper: If the son dies, does our food cost go down by 5? Do we save on food? Fuck the funeral cost, just throw him into a ditch!
      • When Vesper makes good bank when his marksmanship pays off, he can definitely afford medicine for the sick son... but before he does that, he asks chat what their favourite anime is, indirectly threatening to let the son die from illness should they answer poorly.
Vesper: Sword Art Online? You're dead.
Vesper: Detroit Metal City! Fine, you get to live another day.
      • Right before the son's birthday, he falls ill yet again. Vesper deliberates between getting them medicinenote  or the birthday crayons, but decides to get both only if the chat fills with "HE LOVES US!" After he's satisfied and gets the crayons, he warns chat not to eat the crayons or they'll never receive another gift. When he begins the next day the chat immediately starts joking about the crayons' tastes.
    • After he gets an entrant who's the impostor from the Ministry of Information, he picks up the bribe, slowly stashes it away in a corner, and then hands the fake papers to them, announcing that he saw nothing.
    • When Dimitri visits the booth, Vesper is too busy fiddling with the booth functions to pay attention for the first few lines of dialogue.
    • An entrant comes in without a passport, and while the game gives Vesper the means to deny her, he's more keen on detaining her. When she refuses to leave, Vesper is finally allowed to detain her, and he cheers excitedly when the guard knocks her out and drags her away.
    • Jorji's numerous bad entry attempts lead to Vesper cultivating a grudge against him. For the one day he has all his papers in order, Vesper begrudgingly lets him in, but only so he gets paid.
    • When Calensk comes in and pays him with a pittance lower than what was agreed, he argues that his family got sick, and this is what's left after needing to buy medicine. Chat argues that's no excuse and urges Vesper to detain Calensk on the spot.
    • Vesper is too focused on the job to realize that he's turned away an EZIC agent, and is confused about the messenger's warning. At the end of that day, an EZIC agent leaves a huge stack of cash for him, and Vesper immediately starts supporting EZIC. A few days later, all his money is confiscated, and he can only stare in silence as he reads the consequences of his actions.
    • The next day, M. Vonel comes in and informs him of the EZIC activity, and then asks that his badge and paper be returned. Vesper jokingly asks the Ministry Agent for a bribe before complying.
    • As part of Messov Anegovych's sidequest, he hands out business cards to engineers and approves them for entry. He soon realizes that all the engineers are scripted to have perfect papers, and auto-approves them the moment he sees an engineer.
Vesper: In this house we auto-approve all engineers.
    • When an entrant tosses a bomb onto Vesper's desk, Calensk comes in, starts trash-talking the terrorist, and guides a panicking Vesper to disarm the bomb. After all that is done, he says he'll sell the materials and give him a cut. Vesper still hasn't forgotten the last time Calensk short-sold him and tries to bargain a better deal, only deciding to proceed when he notices time is passing.
    • After the EZIC agent bails him out of trouble with the Ministry of Income, the game informs him "The Ministry of Income has cleared all wrongdoing," but also "his savings will not be returned." Vesper can't help but laugh at this turn of events, and he humors chat by forsaking food for the day — because they're going to eat the neighbors who ratted them out.
    • When Vesper gains access to the gun locker, chat is filled with two reactions — one is excitement at seeing his marksmanship, the other dreading him abusing the gun. True to form, Vesper starts daring the denied entrants to burst past the gate and book it for the streets so that he as an excuse to fire.
Vesper: I do not care about making money today, I just want to shoot someone. [starts laughing] I should not say that...
    • The entrant that insults the crayon drawing is named Jerno, and his appearance causes Vesper to immediately nickname him Jerma, saying "only Jerma would be this rude." He detains the entrant and has a good laugh over him eating his words and saying the drawing should be in a museum.
    • When the final day arrives, it seems that Vesper would need to play the day perfectly in order to get enough money for his whole family to escape to Obristan. Cue Jorji who shares his windfall with him. Vesper, who's harbored a game-long grudge against him, is awed at Jorji's generosity and swallows his pride to accept the gift.
  • Vesper recounts a story where someone was stealing food out of his lunch bag. So to catch them, he doesn't bring food one day — he just puts a large bottle of lube in his lunch bag. He got reported for bringing an inappropriate item, but this is how he discovered the thief, since only the food thief would be snooping through his lunch bag to discover the lube.
  • Vesper's 2.0 debut:
    • His 2.0 Debut starts on a very bizarre note, being an animated clipshow of strange shenanigans and memes, complete with an old Japanese sponsorship reel. Then when transitions to the actual stream, he's not in his new look, or even his original look, but it's Morf LeRosh!
    • After seeing Vesper's new model, some Vesties lament the loss of the infamous pointy "Dorito chin" and say that he looks like Henry Cavill.
    • After revealing his new model, Vesper tests the new emotes by asking chat to throw insults at him when he gets angry. When someone in chat says, "Trigun is mid!" and "Spears are overrated!", Vesper tells the Vesties that they're all banned and he's going to end the stream, with chat crying, "HE BANS US!". When he tries the sad emote, another Vestie reminds him of the Monopoly collab but that makes him angry only for him to slide back into being sad again.
    • Vesper asks the chat to say something that would horrify him. The chat immediately floods him with the word "moist", and Vesper quickly regrets asking that.

TEMPUS Vanguard

    Gavis Bettel
  • Bettel hits the ground running in this interaction with Axel:
Bettel: You know, I'm something of a jester myself.
Axel: Show me a trick yo
Bettel: trick? you're the dog, not me.
    Axel: I will fuckin-
  • Bettel's debut kicks off with amazing bravado for a performer, but the performance goes quickly off the rails, starting with a Rummage Fail while rolling out the slides multiple times, panicking when pulling up an Embarrassing Slide, and berating his stagehand Jerry during intermissions when things go horribly awry. He also competently plays the part of a stressed-out actor when the confidence slips.
  • When he pulls up his guild card and talks about his lopsided stats, he tries to roll with the punches, but eventually cracks when getting to his "maxed luck", thinking that his assistant is taking the piss. He quickly excuses himself "to the bathroom", pulls up his intermission card, and screams at his offscreen stagehand Jerry.
  • After the debut relay, Bettel announces A BIG SURPRISE, only to reveal that amidst the covers that his coworkers have done, he's got nothing comparable for himself, so he tries to improvise a song. His music falls flat, and Phantom ditches him, so the last thing he does is his usual hat trick, ending the relay with a literal bang as he pulls up another Cartoon Bomb.
  • For having a max Luck stat, what was supposed to be his first scheduled stream ended up getting pushed back a couple of days due to his internet not playing nice, and his fans decrying "LET HIM COOK".
    • The day he finally gets to do his Cooking Simulator stream, he opens up with low quality audio and laggy glitching, including his stream getting the buffering ring, before revealing that it was a video he made just to screw with his viewers.
    • The reason for his technical difficulties? He was using Wi-Fi, not wired internet. The entire internet debacle could have been avoided!
  • While playing online crane games on Toreba, Bettel sets his sights on a stuffed horse. He spends a good long time trying to get it, and even after getting assisted by staff three times, he still has trouble getting the prize. Bettel does eventually get the horse, but only because it fell in by itself.
  • Bettel makes a hard-shell taco on his membership opening stream, his alleged first taco "in 27 years". He buys some taco shells, only to realize that they are tiny. Bettel and the chat absolutely lose it.
Bettel: But why is it so small?!
    • Cut to Bettel breaking the taco shell shortly after by complete accident. Thankfully, he has more shells.
Bettel: Are these st- (taco shell cracks)
  • During one of Bettel's Sims 4 streams, Bella (who married Sim-Shinri) is expecting a child, all while he accidentally lets Sim-Hakka drown and die in the pool. While the Reaper shows up to collect Hakka, Bella gives birth to her child, causing insanely absurd Mood Whiplash between the tragedy and childbirth.
  • Bettel impersonates Shinri and does a zatsudan stream for April Fools' Day. During this stream, "Shinri" curses, sips his coffee in an obnoxiously loud manner and also does some decidedly un-Shinri-like things.
    • "Shinri" also breaks character numerous times during this stream, usually through a laughing fit which he passes off as him either sneezing or crying. One notable moment was when "Shinri" broke character out of sheer disbelief regarding some of the coffee he is drinking and remains as such for about thirty seconds.
      Various viewers: MY IMMERSION
  • After this zatsudan stream, Bettel, still impersonating Shinri, plays The Mortuary Assistant. The intro for the stream is "Shinri" "singing" DADDY ! DADDY ! DO !. The stream starts off with Bettel beckoning "Shinri" to come into the room to stream, who then takes over for the rest of the game.
    • "Shinri" gets jumpscared a number of times throughout the game. As with the last stream, he attempts to pass them off as sneezes.
  • Bettel plays Trombone Champ. Complete with kazoo and slide whistle "accompaniment". Hilarity ensues.
  • After getting sick and losing his voice, Bettel decides to make his stream into a silent film.
  • Bettel plays Family Feud with his actual twin brother, Bettel 2. Hilarity ensues.
  • While playing Minecraft, Bettel laments about not knowing how to make circles in the game and misspells "fuck" as "fyuck". Chalking it up as what Goofy says when he stubs his toe, Bettel proceeds to laugh uncontrollably at his own joke.
<GavisBeetle> how do you make circle in square game?
<GavisBeetle> it dont make any god dang sense!
    <GavisBeetle> FYUCK
Bettel: Fuck! Fyuck! That's what Goofy says when he stubs his toe...! (extremely intense laughter)
    <CrimzonRuze> A-HYUCK.
<CrimzonRuze> You just do a big circle, ya'know?
<CrimzonRuze> Bettelion help, he's becoming Goofpilled.
  • Bettel plays chess with his brother, Bettel 2. In one of the games, Bettel 2 makes a wrong move and quickly realizes when Bettel starts lording it over him. With his fate essentially sealed, Bettel 2 resorts to dirty tactics to exact revenge against his brother... by spraying him with tap water.
    Bettel 2: Queen takes Bishop.
    Bettel: Hmph. You stupid fool.
    Bettel 2: Oh shit!
Bettel: That's exactly what I was waiting for. Queen takes-
Bettel 2: SURPRISE ATTACK! (sprays Bettel with water)
    Bettel: OH- WHAT THE FUCK?!
(Bettel in Stunned Silence, Bettel 2 Corpsing in the background)
    Bettel: WHAT THE FUCK?!
Bettel 2: Quick! While he's not looking! (under his breath) Oh God...
Bettel: He just turned on the sink... and went to the faucet sprayer... and sprayed me in the face! There's water everywhere!
    (Bettel 2 still Corpsing)
Bettel: Surprise attack?! I have never been so blindsided in my entire life.
  • In Bettel's first stream since arriving in Japan for the Expo event, he spends his flight playing Dark Souls III while a passenger right behind him was watching him play. It was joked that the passenger got an exclusive gaming stream.

    Machina X Flayon
  • Flay starts off his online presence by reciting the Yoshikage Kira copypasta... except it's been modified to instead brag about how much of a freak of nature he is.
I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who is simply built different.
  • Then there's his response to Hakka's first tweet and the exchange that follows...
Hakka: Can you microwave an evil spirit?
    Flay: LET'S MICROWAVE OURSELVES TOGETHER
    Shinri: MACHI, NO!!!!!
    Flay: MACHI, YES
    Hakka: MACHI, MAYBE
  • Before introducing himself to the viewers, he had to address Magni exclusively calling him by his full name and not some nickname. He angrily calls him out on the issue, to be exact, and resumes his introduction as if it never happened.
  • When going over his likes, he asks viewers to ignore the last item listed (Plot-Heavy VN's) and panics. Meanwhile, R-TRUS points a reticle at Flayon, so he runs off and shouts for Bettel.
    R-TRUS display: stop talking :)
  • In his self-titled lore video, there's a scene of him reading what he says is a guidebook. It's shown to be a romance/shoujo novel.
  • During his third Hatoful Boyfriend playthrough, Altare greets him in chat and wishes him to get taller. While Flayon appreciates the compliments, Kobo barges into the chat and demands Altare what he's doing here. The two blue-haired siblings begin to bicker at each over Flay, who tries to stop them from fighting.
  • Flay gets tricked by a viewer into calling Kureiji Ollie flat-chested in Indonesian in an Apex Legends stream with him, Ollie and Arurandeisu; said viewer claimed it was a compliment.
  • During Flayon's first stream of The Jackbox Party Pack 7, his last Quiplash 3 game gives him the prompt "You know someone stole RTRUS CUTE'snote  credit card when there's a charge for ___." The voting period reveals he simply put in the URL for an actual JAV website as his answer without thinking twice, barely stifling an Evil Laugh while the audience realizes what he's done.
  • While setting up for his 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim stream, he forgot to exit out of the Nintendo eShop before booting up the game, revealing he was on the eShop page for Trouble Days, a quite risque (but not explicit without a patch) visual novel. Flayon goes into a frenzy trying to exit out, frazzled that he potentially ruined his reputation. If you paid attention to the store page, the game is on his wishlist!
  • Eventually Flay managed to get the permissions to actually play TroubleDays, and fans were eating good from the comedy. Several Hololive streamers and even pako dropped in to see this stream, much to Flay's piling embarrassment.
  • Flayon would somehow get the permissions to stream HuniePop. He starts with it unpatched, but when he learns that there's no moaning in this version, furious typing ensues as he quickly works out how to patch it.
    • Flayon's preferences are made apparent when he focuses on romancing Audrey. He's especially fond of her Alpha Bitch personality, but rather than go "I can fix her!" his outlook is "I can't fix her but I sure can support her!"
"No, not fix! You can support her! Fixing implies that she needs to be fixed! You support her so she can support herself! If you fix her then she's going to rely on you too much."
    • Any time any girl poses a sensitive question, Flayon would get stunned for a moment as he struggles between answering honestly or trying to intuit the answer they prefer. He's also tempted to go into a tangent several times but has to stop himself because the subject matter would get him in trouble.
    • After bedding Audrey (with a very clumsy attempt to censor things) he finally ends the stream.
"Do you promise you'll look at me the same? And if anything happens, you'll always remember me? No? I appreciate the honesty."
  • During his second HuniePop stream, Altare trolls him a few times by sneaking into voice chat, then preceding his call-ins with a knocking and door opening sound, like a father walking in on his son watching porn. When Flayon fails a date with Jessie, Altare comes back in and plays the "performance anxiety" joke for all it's worth.
Altare: Oh, Flayon, I just want to let you know that dinner is ready— WHOA WHOA WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?! FLAYON!! I know that you're a growing boy but... sorry I walked in on you, but... keep it to yourself! Geez!
  • When collabing with another idol for the first time, Flayon will usually invite the collab partner to a tour of the R-TRUS cockpit. Depending on the collab partner, hijinks may ensue.
  • Flayon's second chatting stream while in Japan for the Expo recounts how at least 27 Machiroons came to his meet-and-greet in jirai kei outfits.
  • When Flayon does a handcam stream for the first time, he uses it to test some konbini snacks while in Japan. Among them is one that he picked up as it has a cute cat on it. The Machiroons were quick to notice that it's actually a cat treat judging by the brand alone. His reaction once he samples it is priceless.
  • Flayon plays Akiba's Trip, a game in which you must defeat vampires by stripping them. The stream is full of chaotic moments, even if it's milder than the more risque games he has played.
    • After announcing the stream on Twitter, one of the replies wonders out loud how he manages to get streaming permissions for this and other similarly risque games. His only reply is "persuasion."
    • Flayon calls out some of the chat worried about the VOD by posting a wikihow on how to be less perverted.
    • When the main character is incarcerated with bound hands, two figures from the agency want to recruit him. The moment an option to ask Midō, one of the agents, for her measurements pops up, the Machiroons goaded him to select that option, and he caves in. Later, he was given the option to ask Sejima, the other agent, for his measurements, eventually leading to a Non-Standard Game Over.
    • As a Running Gag, mentioning the act of stripping others with no further context given.

    Banzoin Hakka
  • Hakka starts his debut... in Spanish! And then he's interrupted by a phone call from a furious YAGOO who then busts into his room and slaps him for his insolence.
  • Hakka goes into an aside in his debut to teach his viewers how to say the names of various yokai in Spanish, and how to exorcise them. His exorcisms, however, use nonstandard languages to hype himself up, so there's a lot of unintelligible chanting before he straight-up slaps the yokai. The last of the "yokai" is a Magmite, and amidst the audience begging the Magmite to flee (and Altare encouraing him to kill it) he graphically splatters the little guy.
  • Hakka calls into Hakos Baelz's birthday stream; this encounter is surprisingly wholesome, until Bae attempts to flaunt her Spanish-speaking "abilities" and forgets the word for "hello". Hakka is in disbelief.
    • Hakka subsequently sings Happy Birthday for her in Spanish, to which Bae asks some questions. She ends up cringing at Hakka's responses, which were painfully obvious.
Bae: Wait! Wait! Is the feliz the same as the feliz in "Feliz Navidad"?
      Hakka: Yeah! It's "happy"!
      Bae: What? "Feliz" means happy?
      Hakka: Feliz means happy!
Bae: (gasps) Wait, what does Navidad mean?
      Hakka: Christmas.
Bae: (in between laughter) Oh shi-
  • During Hakka's birthday stream where he plays Lotería (Mexican bingo) with the Tempus boys:
    • Hakka is dismayed that the boys didn't memorize the rules because they didn't fully watch the 5-minute tutorial that he sent to them.
    • Hakka accidentally kills his webcam with a party popper. Then, he puts an intermission card that says, "BRB. Did you know a flock of crows is called a murder?"
  • When Hakka made a cooking stream with his mom, the “is your mom single?” jokes were inevitable. What caught chat utterly off guard was when, for the first time, a Holomom stated she was and flirted back, leading chat to panic (along with Hakka’s manager).
Commenter: Honestly, the sheer balls on this woman to look the gigahydra monstrosity that is chat in the eye and say "come at me sweetie, let's see if you can handle a real woman!"
  • Hakka revisits his debut stream during his 1 year anniversary, with a Self-Imposed Challenge: each time he cringes, his brother will fire a gel blaster at him.
  • One Tengu Talk has Hakka kick back to show off feet assets, and exposed bird-style feet and talons to the stream. Plenty of Hakkitos were taken aback by the new asset, so eventually he blurs them out, then uses the mosaic censor that ended up making it more suspicious, with one Hakkito comparing it to a dead animal.

    Josuiji Shinri
  • Shinri's debut opens with him narrating a story about a koi tenaciously swimming in search for the Dragon's Gate. His deep, soothing voice led to chat being filled with pregnant emojis.
Vesper: I cant hear this banger story over all these stupid pregnant people
  • When talking about games he enjoys, one genre Shinri mentioned was "comfy games", i.e. games "where you can just hang out and turn your brain off and have a comfy time". The examples he gave? Slime Rancher, Powerwash Simulator, and The Mortuary Assistant.
Shinri: [noticing chat's Mass "Oh, Crap!"] What do you mean, "Mortuary Assistant isn't a comfy game"?
  • In his playthrough of Night Delivery, Shinri is startled by a squeaky vent in an alleyway that leads to the apartment complex and repeatedly side eyes it for the rest of the game. Even when his first playthrough gets glitched and he's rushing through the second one to get caught up, he still takes a few seconds each time he returns to the truck to stop and side eye the vent.
  • During his playthrough of Visage, little ghost girl Lucy tries to jumpscare him by opening a dresser door while he's walking through a room. Unfortunately for her, he's too focused on the LORE, so he immediately closes the door on her and goes "Not now, Lucy".
  • While playing through FAITH: The Unholy Trinity:
    • In the fight against Amy in the first game, a pentagram appears on the floor and she starts darting across the place. After a few failed attempts at dodging her, he tucks himself into the corner of the room, reasoning that, with the way she seems to bounce off the walls, she won't hit a corner, much like a DVD logo. Unfortunately, he didn't account for her second attack where she will home in on him if he gets caught in her spiral of runes. MORTIS.
    • When John gets trapped in the abortion clinic basement, he notices the "Loss" meme drawn on the curtain and gets a little annoyed at the Mood Whiplash it creates. Later on, when the cop finds John in the basement, he tries to show "Loss" to him only to then realize that it won't be recognized in the 80's.
    • While maneuvering John who's still strapped the the gurney, he goes "wiggle wiggle". When Jeffrey starts pursuing him, he panics and goes "wiggle wiggle" even faster.
    • He comes across the Tier 1 Acolyte pamphlet under the daycare, and initially misreads it as a "tier 1 membership". Chat starts joking that Gary's a VTuber, and he reads all these pamphlets like an eager salesman.
    • During the fight against the True Final Boss, he accidentally lights John on fire with one of the torches in the arena. He gets a "Eureka!" Moment and realizes this is what is needed to damage the boss... but not right now. MORTIS.
  • His 2/16/23 zatsudan stream. He was supposed to get caught up on superchats, but he gets sidelined talking about the ghosts from that week's games. What makes it funny is that he tries to think of pragmatic ways of dealing with ghost attacks, but all of his descriptions come out sounding like Meet Cute scenarios where he's actually hitting on them.
  • Shinri's third playthrough of What The Golf? has him cracking up at the increasingly ridiculous levels, as well as the references.
  • Following on from Bettel impersonating him, Shinri decides to hold a The Sims 4 stream... while impersonating Bettel! During the stream, "Bettel" uses terms he would never use (i.e. "Bettellios" and "Supas"), has an obsession with Brisk and drinks it in an obnoxious manner and even does some decidedly un-Bettel-esque things. A stream where "Bettel" never swears, anyone?
    • He even creates his own "Hour-In Review" transitions! Every time he plays these transitions, "Bettel" complains about how loud they are and accidentally "leaks" the transition at the start of the stream.
  • After Flayon streamed Trouble Days it inspired several other talents to stream the game themselves — four other streams were started or scheduled within the next day. Shinri's shocked by this discovery.
Shinri: FLAYOOOOOOOOOOOOON!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!!!???
  • A few months ago, Bettel lost his pet bee by accidentally swatting it, provoking it into stinging himnote . Shinri promises him to find him another one, and eventually does good on his promise... by stuffing Bettel's house full of Bee Nests that he picked out with his Silk Touch-enchanted Pickaxe. Bettel eventually catches wind of what he did, and requests he burn his house down to set the bees free if something happens to him.
  • Shinri may have steely nerves, but the "Hakka Jumpscare" often catches him off-guard.
  • Shinri plays through Slay the Princess in one sitting, and he's often mesmerized by the Princess's appearance, even in some of the routes where she's become hostile. To quote a superchat, "Shinri, it's called Slay the Princess, not Lay the Princess."
    • On the Razor route, he gets really entertained by the Voice of the Cheated, suggesting that it's basically Bettel. He wants Bettel to play the game, find his way onto this route, and see how Bettel will react to the thoughts of the Cheated.
  • Shinri takes Vanguard and ARMIS to a tour of the studio. Highlights include:
    • Hakka twerked everywhere.
    • They wanted to test out how soundproof the soundproof booths are. Jurard and Flayon were used as guinea pigs due to how loud they are.
