Funny / hololive - Among Us

Go To

Among Us is a chaotic game which encourages you to lie to, murder or accuse your friends in order to succeed. It's easy for a game to dissolve into panicked screams, shouting matches and desperate pleas.

Naturally, the Hololive crew took to it like a duck to water.

  • The Holostars gathered together to play Among Us, which resulted in what can only be described as controlled chaos as they all tried to figure out what the objectives were with their limited grasp of English. Once they were able to come to grips with the game's tasks, it's been regarded as one of the most entertaining collaborative streams that hololive has ever had. See here for a compilation with points of view from various players.
    • What really adds to the hilarity of this first collab, is that the boys spend most of it dramatically role-playing as if they are actually going out into space, carrying out missions and betraying each other. This includes things like, Shien dramatically narrating the start of the stream to set the stage for the scenario they've come up with (while people snicker in the background and then complain when he drags it out too long), Arurandeisu talking like an anime villain when he's an impostor, and everyone getting into an argument over the "betrayal" from the first round to justify muting during subsequent rounds where Astel declares that "even though we're talking your voices don't register in my soul!" This is also part of the motivation behind their actions when Oga dies in the first round as detailed below.
    • Izuru aggressively shouting "SEE YA!" as they mute themselves for the first time leaves everyone in stitches, breaking their tense formality and allowing chaos to unfold.
    • Since they were still learning the ropes of the game, everyone was completely unmuted throughout their first round, leading to chaotic chatter across the group. Oga dies first, and rather than immediately report the body, everyone gathers around the site of the murder, shocked at Oga's death, and then the meeting starts.
    • Shien scores a kill... in the presence of at least four Crewmates. He gets unceremoniously voted out after a poor attempt to defend himself.
Shien: I was doing my task, though?
Izuru: Is killing people your task?
    • Miyabi kills Shien on the second round. On the third, Miyabi innocently decides to travel with Shien, who is now fearing for his life.
Miyabi: Okay, this time, I'll be following Shien.
Shien: Am I going to get killed again? Am I going to get killed again?!
    • Roberu and Arurandeisu perform a double-kill on Miyabi and Shien in Electrical. A clueless Rikka comes in, and gets boxed in by the two of them. Izuru reports the bodies, and Roberu and Arurandeisu try to throw each other (with Rikka) under the bus. After Arurandeisu gets ejected, Roberu pulls through without killing anyone after the Crew neglects the second oxygen console during a sabotage. And by "neglects it" we mean that Rikka was right there in the room with it and decides to let someone else do it while he continues with the downloading files task he was doing in the same room. Oga eventually goes to try to do it, but he panic clicks out of the interface and runs out of time before he can finish imputing the code.
    • Temma gives Suisei a run for her money as he gleefully murders Miyabi while humming the Star-Spangled Banner and commented on how delicious his blood was. Shien gets accused and voted out for this kill.
Shien: *as he's sinking into lava* YOU IDIOTS!
    • For the final round, they agree to disable Confirm Ejects, and unmute and scream if they get killed. Roberu starts the reactor, and shortly after he finishes, Arurandeisu comes in and kills him. Coincidentally, Oga was killed in Electrical at roughly the same time. Both their unmuted screams of anguish echoed across the stream. And to add onto it, the other Holostars members only notice Oga's death, despite both his and Roberu's names being crossed out in the meeting interface. Roberu's body gets reported later thanks to a bug, but everyone thinks Roberu was killed later and either no one heard him or he forgot to scream. Roberu calls them out for this at the end of the round, but the others claim they thought Oga screamed twice.
    • When Oga was killed during that round, Izuru insists that he didn't mean to kill Oga when he did (there were witnesses near by). He claims that he hit the kill button accidentally when he was actually trying to sabotage. When he admits this at the end of the round, Oga seems offended by it.
Oga: So my death was an accident?!
    • Arurandeisu kills Miyabi and self-reports. After a bit of arguing, Shien gets voted out.
Shien: *singing, while spinning out the airlock* Round and round, time turns on~
  • After their initial collab on Among Us, the holostars cast started regularly hosting games with their audience. Some players come in with the name "YAGOO", prompting opportunities for Biting-the-Hand Humor.
  • Botan, Mio, Noel, Pekora, Fubuki, Nene, Okayu, and Towa play Among Us, which no doubt brought hilarity. Highlights of their second, third and last rounds, featuring each moment from multiple perspectives.
    • After explaining Emergency Meetings in their practice run, the girls immediately booted Pekora out while she tried to single out Noel.
    • Okayu getting killed in nearly every game the girls had, something not helped by her showing off her smooth talking skills in debates.
    • Pekora is painfully aware that someone's going to be extremely wary of her pin the blame on her at some point or another, and does her best to ensure she has a secure alibi each time.
    • Okayu and Nene were in the perfect position to perform a clean double kill against Mio and Pekora, that is, if Nene hadn't been completely oblivious to the situation from looking at her sabotage map. Cue Okayu killing Mio and then desperately begging Nene to follow up. Pekora eventually reported the body, the blame was pinned on Nene and she was voted out for it.
    • In the third round, Nene kills Fubuki in Admin. Later on, during an Oxygen sabotage, Mio and Towa completely miss the body — only Pekora and Botan notice it, with Botan being faster to make the report.
    • Since Botan was killed and had to literally play dead (no one on the Discord chat are allowed to talk if they were killed to avoid unsportsmanship), she decides to type Polka's "I am 300k subs Vtuber" meme out of boredom while the girls argue among themselves.
    • Despite her good track record with Werewolf-style games, organizing the collab, and leading everyone through her tutorial, Towa ends up being the only one with a 0% win record, particularly as a Imposter due to a combination of being kill-thirsty and having the repeated misfortune of people walking in on her kills.
      • Towa also developed a small rivalry with Pekora during the session. In one game, she gets killed by Pekora; during the next round where she is Impostor, Towa gets her revenge by targeting Pekora. For the final round where both were Impostors, Pekora tries for a double kill in Electrical, unaware that Towa had killed Mio moments earlier and had her kill still on cooldown, and when she decides to self-report to try and pin the blame on Okayu, she instead settles for throwing Towa under the bus when that plan fails.
      • Mio walks in on one of Towa's kills in Electrical, and unwittingly gets implicated when Noel discovers her standing near the body, leaving Towa to fend for herself.
      • In one round, Towa kills Okayu just outside Oxygen, only to get caught by Nene and Botan traveling in the opposite direction she was walking. The best part about this was that neither of them had seen it coming — Towa had reason to believe that Nene and Botan, having fixed the oxygen sabotage with Okayu earlier, wouldn't loop back around through weapons; meanwhile, Botan was simply following Nene to ascertain her innocence, while Nene was fleeing Botan out of fear of dying and just happened to walk by Towa and Okayu's body.
      • To get revenge on Botan after being caught red-handed trying to sabotage in a previous round, Towa kills Botan in the final round in Admin. However, she passes by Okayu on the way out, who spots and reports the body. Pekora is secretly livid about Towa's aggression, but Okayu decides to let it slide to gather more solid evidence.
    • After Okayu's body was found in the final round, Noel and Pekora were practically arguing over the motivations of an Impostor, and Nene can't help but hyperventilate over whose side to be on. From Okayu's point of view, she enjoyed watching Pekora squirm while Noel and Pekora argued with each other. Eventually, Nene sides with Noel at the very last second, votes off Pekora, and gets the win for the Crewmates.
  • The 5th Gen and EN collab had plenty of entertaining chaos all of its own.
    • Gura's general glee from being Imposter, with her scat-singing pretty much the whole time and indulging in one-liners. Evil Feels Good indeed.
    • Botan, after noticing that Calli had been killed, says "Excuse me, but did the reaper just RIP?" as a reference to Calli's debut track. Polka would also recite the name of the song whenever she had the opportunity to kill Calli.
    • In the second round, Polka eliminates Ina in Admin, only for Nene to notice it in her peripheral vision, so she starts an Emergency Meeting to report this. Polka and Nene attempt to prove their points to Amelia, the other remaining player, as best they can without Kiara's help; Amelia barely even understands Japanese, which makes the whole process utterly frantic. Polka in particular starts screaming things such "baritsu" and "Nene trash". She even tries to play on the fact they are both blondes... only to realize that all 3 of them are blondes. Amelia in the end sides with Nene (entirely on something she had seen earlier, since she still had no idea what anyone was saying) giving the crewmates the win.
    • In the third round, the Impostors manage to score four kills note  before any of the bodies are found. Calliope misses Nene's corpse in Admin, while Polka takes a moment before the corpse registers. The crew is about to pass on the vote due to lack of evidence when at the last second, Polka shouts "BOTAN SUS! She's acting way cuter than usual!". Calli and Amelia accept this and vote Botan off... and the kicker is that Polka guessed right. As she's thrown out of the airlock, Botan makes a high-pitched cutesy scream just to lampshade this. Note that Botan hadn't even said anything before Polka accused her.
    • Amelia starts trusting Gura, thinking that she's safe... mere seconds before Gura kills her.
Amelia: Gura- Gura's safe... *gets killed* AHH! SHE'S NOT SAFE!
Gura: Whoops! You walked right into that one, chief!
    • During the fourth round, Amelia draws first blood by killing Lamy in Medbay — or, as the fans would put it, she ground pounds Lamy — and runs off with her gremlin-like giggling.
    • Gura starts casting doubt on Polka for failing to report a nearby dead body. Polka starts shouting in panic, but the vote passes and she's ejected screaming. What sells the moment is Kiara's Bond One-Liner:
      Kiara: 300k VTuber bye bye.
    • The same round boils down to Gura, Kiara, Nene and Amelia as the remaining survivors. Kiara puts suspicion on Nene, to which Nene retorts "you two have been suspicious!" When Kiara asks Nene to elaborate, Nene clarifies "Kiara and Nene." She gets voted out, cursing her slip of the tongue.
Nene: SHIT! SHIIIIT! Damn it, SHIT!
    • Despite being a reaper and promising to kill lots of people, Calliope never gets Impostor during the whole collab. To make things more ironic, she's frequently been the first to die. On the last round, Calli forgets to mute herself as she complains about being Crewmate again, and swears up a storm when Nene reveals this to her. Ironically, she doesn't die for this final round.
    • During the last round, Ina kills Nene in Navigation and leaves out the main hallway... but passes by Gura, who wastes no time putting the blame in Ina. Ina's attempt to defend herself while she was an Impostor quickly falls apart, and she decides trying to drown everyone else in a Hurricane of Puns is a better idea. Naturally, it didn't work either. Made even funnier when it's revealed by Ina on her Twitter that her poor defense was because she was thinking of good puns to use as a comeback.
      Ina: I'm inacent!
      Polka: lol
      Ina: No pasta!
      Polka: Pastaaaa!
      Ina: Let's tako bout this...
      Kiara: Inaugh!
      Polka: Inapostor!
    • Gura remains unfortunate even when working with actual people. During the last round, she was getting bored and calls out to herself and her chat "SOMEBODY KILL SOMEONE!" She realizes her mistake quickly, but can't amend it fast enough before Amelia kills her in a hallway less than ten seconds later.
Gura: [Several seconds of silence] I beg your pardon?
    • In between rounds, Polka starts encouraging them to start the match during their banter using her limited knowledge of English, leading to this exchange.
Polka: (In English) Start! Start! Let's go, let's go, let's go! Kiara, Kiara!
Kiara (First in English, then Japanese) Polka? What is it?
Polka: (In Japanese) How do you say Let's go (English) in English?
    • Several exchanges through the in-game messaging system tended to be just the girls messing around during moments of deliberation, such as Polka trying to get Calli's attention once they were both dead, Nene proposing to Ina (shortly before Ina kills her in a later round), and during a deliberation when someone asked "where," Gura responded with the chorus of My Heart Will Go On.
  • The 2nd holostars Among Us collab made for another round of showing off their chaotic hilarity. Some highlights of the first, second, third, fourth and final rounds.
    • Izuru continues to shout his goodbyes as aggressively as possible when muting.
    • Miyabi forgets about the holostars custom rule of unmuting and screaming after getting killed and hastily does it when the lack of screaming is mentioned in the discussion. This leads to Temma raising the possibility that Kira self-reported at which point the argument is quickly shot down and Temma gets voted out for it.
    • The final kill in the first round was a beautiful trainwreck in motion: Roberu goes for a double kill in Reactor except Shien is out of position from faking a task in the corner which allows Kira to witness the whole thing and run off in safety. In the debate afterwards, Astel dramatically reveals that he was on cameras the whole time and knows who the Impostor is: Oga. This unsurprisingly costs the Crewmates the game. This is compounded by the fact that Kira not only witnessed who the real killer was, but had correctly guessed who both impostors were, did try to speak up to tell everyone, but the others drowned him out. Meanwhile, Izuru, who is listening in, but can't talk to the others because he got killed earlier, initially starts praising Astel when he reveals he saw the whole thing, but immediately starts calling him an idiot when he gets it wrong.
    • After the disaster of the first round, Tenma cheerfully suggests whoever becomes impostor next round should kill Astel first. Cue Tenma and Izuru becoming the impostors only for the round to be cut short because Astel disconnected. When they restart, Astel and Shien become the next impostors instead.
    • As the second round starts, Roberu reminds his chat that there actually is a cafeteria on the Skeld and thus no need for "cafeteria in my soul". He struggles a little with the card swipe, but right after he finishes, he gets killed by Shien. After Izuru reports it, while everyone is talking, a frustrated Roberu starts rapidly moving his avatar all over the screen.
Roberu: Yeah! I did it! I can do anything if I believe! I beli— *gets killed by Shien* ...UWAAAAAAAGH!
    • Arurandeisu manages to spot Astel leaving a crime scene, but completely mistakes his name and color for Miyabi's which gets the latter voted out.
    • In the third round, Izuru is the first to die (complete with a shrill shriek), but no one bothers to go looking for the body, with Roberu even failing to notice it while focused on doing the nearby task (to be fair his body was half hidden by the scenery). When Tenma dies and his body is reported, Astel even feels the need to point out that he and Rikka specifically, his fellow Chibistars members, didn't bother looking, to Izuru's annoyance.
    • Miyabi, one of the impostors that round, after spending a while dillydallying finally kills Rikka, but unfortunately does it in front of Astel, even with the assistance of the cover of darkness. Astel instantly reports it and makes absolutely certain everyone knows who did it as quickly as he can.
      Astel: IsawitIsawitIsawitIsawit, MiyabiMiyabiMiyabiMiyabi!!!
    • Oga gets a little over enthusiastic at the beginning of the fourth round, killing Shien mere minutes after everyone has left the starting area. This naturally gets him caught immediately. As a bonus, Shien's scream startles Arurandeisu bad enough to make him jump.
    • When Miyabi kills Astel and Kira, they both have the funniest death screams of the bunch. Astel sounds like a peacock call instead of a scream, while Kira's is very low effort but cute.
      Kira: Nyaaaaa~!
    • Roberu experiences a glitch this round where the screen is first completely black, and then very dark, but he insists that the others should just continue with the round without him instead of starting over. Meanwhile, he sits there and complains to his chat.
    • Arurandeisu gets falsely suspected of killing Astel and gets voted out. Before his character is ejected, he says everyone who voted for him should commit seppuku, which the others point out is exactly the same thing Oga said when he got voted out.
    • In the final round, the unmute and scream when killed rule is discarded and those who are killed are allowed to speak to each other in a separate voice chat. The impostors for this round are Oga and Kira, and unfortunately Oga is still not over his screw up from the previous round and spends most of the round wandering around dithering on whether he should kill someone or wait for another opportunity. Kira has no such reservations and ends up carrying most of the round. At least until he gets caught and eliminated, at which point Oga snaps under the pressure and tries to go for a stack kill. It doesn't work.
    • Miyabi decides to stalk Astel around for a while fully intending to creep him out while talking about stealing the cherry on his head. Naturally it works, but of course it also makes him suspicious (though he doesn't get voted out for it).
Astel: STOP FOLLOWING ME! Oi! I'm being chased by a stalker! Chief! Help me, Chief! note  A Stalker is chasing me!
  • The Among Us collaboration on 27 October 2020 with Suisei, Aqua, Lamy, Botan, Pekora, Towa, Marine, Miko, Subaru, and Noel gave itself a few new laughs as well. Highlights for the first three rounds here and the latter half of the stream here. Highlights for the final round here.
    • Right off the bat, Towa and Pekora are the Impostors for the first round. Old habits die hard, though, and Towa kills Miko within the first minute of the round. The Crew immediately suspects and votes off Towa.
    • Towa tells Miko that she likes her in ghost chat except Miko is less than amused after getting killed.
      Towa: mikosenpai suki
Miko: FAQ. NO. koroshita. miko kill NO!
      *At the next meeting*:
      Miko: ME work now!gannbaru!
Towa: you are task no work. dont task plz
Miko: NO task me fight now
    • After Pekora kills Noel, Subaru comes under suspicion for it, which she frantically denies. She then calls out Aqua for reflexively voting her.
    • Marine keeping her distance from Suisei considering she knows her reputation. Meanwhile, Subaru suspects her precisely because of this, only to be killed by Pekora.
    • Betrayal ensues when Botan's sole vote ejects Lamy. Suisei's paranoia causes her to place suspicion on Botan, and Marine jumps in to vote Botan out. Thinking they got the remaining Impostor, the Crew panics when they realize the game's not over yet. Marine's interference makes her the last victim for Pekora to win the game.
    • Not even 10 minutes in, the second round crashed mid-game. Noel eventually reveals that both her and Botan were Impostors in the game, and everyone reacted with an Oh, Crap!.
    • During the second game (ignoring the earlier crash), Pekora plans about her next victim, but is wary of Suisei. While rounding a corner near Navigation, she slips into a vent, and frets a little about being spotted by Noel. Unbeknownst to her, Suisei has caught her venting on camera. Pekora slinks into Cafeteria, only to find Suisei already at the button, ready to call the Emergency Meeting.
    • Suisei lets her guard down around Aqua and gets killed by her. The girls are startled by Suisei's first-ever death during the collab. While the girls are debating, Suisei decides to make funny faces and switch outfits to pass the time.
    • While both Suisei and Pekora were dead, they start yelling at each other in the text chat in broken English.
Suisei: are you jinrou [impostor (literal translation: werewolf)]?
      Pekora: no!
      Suisei: [laughs] usoyamero [stop lying]
      Pekora: i am humon
      Suisei: humon
      Pekora: no!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      Suisei: i am humon too
      Pekora: suityan liaer!!!! lielielielielielielie!!!
      Suisei: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omae ga lie!!!!!
    • In the third game, Miko makes a colossal blunder by accidentally entering a vent in full view of many people. After getting over the initial shock, Miko slams her desk in frustration, tries to claim that her legs just got stuck and finally resorts to promising she won't kill the others in order to be spared. That doesn't work, and she gets voted off.
    • Subaru takes note of Lamy's suspicious behavior, and Suisei leverages this to pressure her until the rest of the Crew decides to vote her out.
    • At the start of the fourth round, Noel circles around half the map and calls for an Emergency Meeting purely out of fear from Towa following her, something that Marine affirms is genuine from Noel's tone of voice. They spend the next two minutes going over Noel and Towa's perspectives of the "chase".
    • Towards the end of the stream they start playing with three Impostors to spice things up. The first set of Impostors is Aqua, Pekora, and Subaru — the same girls who starred in the Nissin Curry Rice collaboration. This didn't go unnoticed.
    • Suisei complains that she never gets the chance to be the Impostor in a game, up until she finally receives the Impostor role in the last game. Meanwhile, Pekora groans in frustration over being Impostor yet again for the final round.
    • Subaru freaks out over the thought of getting killed in the midst of her task. Eventually, she finds Aqua who's signalling her to follow, but gets suspicious midway when she realizes that nobody is around wherever they're going. Meanwhile, Aqua, who's trying to find someone else to kill, settles with killing Subaru, and is briefly jumped by fellow Impostor Suisei who was just passing through.
    • Just as Miko was starting to feel safe around Suisei, she gets killed while traveling down a corridor, leaving her in Stunned Silence. It got so bad, she was traumatized and posted a fan clip on Twitter. While this is happening, Marine and Lamy come across her body, but Marine fails to report it due to a Game-Breaking Bug that causes her to perceive dead Crewmates as perfectly alive ones who happen to walk through walls. This gets Marine wrongly ejected.
    • Suisei ending the game in an imposter victory by stabbing Noel and surprising the other players yelling "GAME OVER!".
  • The 4 November 2020 Among Us session with Towa, Pekora, Polka, Subaru, Miko, Aqua, Haachama, Ayame, Kanata, and Rushia kicked things far, far off into the chaotic zone:
    • With the Crewmates near a Task Win, Haachama boldly performs a stack kill in front of literally everyone still alive and somehow deflects attention away from her. However, some suspicions fell towards Towa which caused her to respond by making the only, and winning, vote.
    • The first kill of the next round is Haachama performing another stack kill, this time in front Towa and Aqua. Once again, she tries blaming Towa, but it ends up much less successful.
    • The third round had three Impostors which is normally Harder Than Hard, but with Miko, Rushia, and Towa at the helm...
      • The three of them head to Office since Towa wants to check on everyone's vitals, but she utterly fails to notice Ayame's corpse right by the computer. During that time, Kanata walks in on them and fumbles the controls in reporting the body with Miko taking an equally long time in killing her to prevent the report. The next meeting is once again Decided by One Vote with Polka correctly voting Miko out and the emergency meeting after that has everyone vote Rushia out.
      • As opposed to her usual speedrun kills, Towa spent more time helping out like a Crewmate than actually sabotaging things in TMT fashion. With the others dead and a Task Win looming near, she tries killing Pekora and blaming Aqua for it, but didn't account for Subaru walking in right at that moment or the fact that she turned the Confirm Ejects setting on for rounds with three Impostors. She starts off the next round complaining about having to be an Imposter again and celebrates being a Crewmate in the final round.
    • In the fourth game, Aqua pulls off a stack kill, but catches Ayame's suspicions in the discussion. Aqua calls for an emergency meeting to deflect further, but makes the mistake of blaming Miko in the end which gets her killed in a very simple 2:1 vote.
    • The final round sees Ayame kill Aqua near a door in such a way that Aqua's body is visible with the door closed, but can't actually be reported until it's opened. Fellow Impostor Haachama is the first to notice the body, followed by Pekora, and the third Impostor, Rushia, also passes them while they're working on the door, but apparently didn't notice the body. Had either Haachama or Rushia killed Pekora, it would've ended the game right then and there with a 3:3 Impostor/Crew ratio, but with Haachama already under suspicion for her poor job explaining where she found Kanata's body earlier she gets voted out.
      • Both Aqua and Towa, Ayame's other victim to this point, expect to see the Defeat screen come up as soon as the vote ends and are surprised to learn that Haachama was an Impostor as well, not entirely without justification as Haachama had done nothing as an Impostor to that point.
      • Rushia spent much of the round checking the screens in Security, and when she saw that Ayame had killed Polka, she went to report the body hoping to secure the other players' trust. Better still, Ayame doubled back to her kill and reported it just before Rushia could, seemingly allowing the two of them to alibi each other out and secure the win by framing one of the other three. With Pekora and Miko having been trapped together, it should've been easy to frame Subaru who has been running away from just about everyone out of paranoia, but she manages to convince them that she'd been with them recently enough and that Rushia is the most suspicious. Ayame is forced to vote for Rushia to remain beneath suspicion, and the Crewmates secure a Task Victory before she can get two kills due to the long cooldown.
  • We have Suisei, Calliope, Luna, Roboco, Amelia, Nene, Iofi, Risu, AkiRose, and Gura, and it goes as you expect (highlights for the first two rounds here, for rounds 3 and 4 here, and the final three here):
    • The Crewmate gameplay was hilariously bad: several of them frequently neglect their tasks, they had to overcome a language barrier unassisted during meetings, and they frequently go along with the first "sus" or vent accusation before defaulting to just skipping the vote. A total of eight people were voted out across the seven rounds, and six of them turned out to be innocent. Impostors won six of the seven rounds played.
    • In contrast to her "apex predator" gameplay in her previous collab, Gura is saddled with the misfortune of not being dealt Impostor once and dying or getting voted off in every single round. Not helping matters was repeated accusations from Amelia across the collab.
    • Calliope and Gura, who wanted to be Imposter to roleplay as Reaper and Apex Predator, did not get a single Impostor game. Meanwhile, Amelia wanted to be crewmate so she could roleplay as detective but was Imposter four times in seven games. Amelia's "good" luck with Imposter led to incredulous reactions at the end of her fourth Imposter game with Iofi jokingly asking if she cheated to get so many Impostor games.
    • In the first round (Amelia and Iofi Impostors):
      • Luna discovers Roboco's body and futilely tries to defend herself against a self-report accusation. When that fails, she resigns herself to her fate, saying "I'll be back" as she is ejected. Calli's impressed with how cool it sounds.
      • Suisei starts suspecting Amelia, but when she tries to verify her pathing, Iofi contradicts her, saying that they never met. Amelia takes the opportunity to accuse Suisei of venting, and the rest of the group goes with it. As she's ejected, she swears "Fucking Jesus!"
      • Calli, Ame, and Nene are the remaining three players in the final Meeting. Calli and Ame accuse each other, leaving Nene as the tiebreaker again. Nene votes with her heart rather than her head, but Ame misclicks and votes for Nene, creating a three-way tie and averting an ejection.
      • As Ame kills Nene for the Impostor victory, Calliope finishes the last of her tasks. She misinterprets the Impostor victory screen and thought that she helped the Crew win in a nick of time. It took her a full minute and some prompting from the others to realize that the Crew had lost.
    • In the second round:
      • Amelia gets frustrated over being Impostor two times in a row. Meanwhile, Risu's having the time of her life.
      • Suisei finds Calliope's body and reacts with "Oh my God".
      • Suisei reports Luna's body, and almost got herself suspected again. However, when Gura reports her position, the rest of the group turns their suspicions to her since she's close to the body. Gura starts defending herself in English, and Suisei panics over being unable to understand her, begging someone to help translate.
    • In the third round (Luna and Aki Impostors):
      • Suisei gets killed by Luna in admin, and her immediate response is "Fucking... Oh my God! Oh my God... Fuck you. Fuck you YAGOO".
      • Aki's main defense against suspicion: Playing up her "good girl" image with phrases like "I'm pure". This is even funnier when you take into account Aki being a Covert Pervert.
      • Calliope discovers Suisei's body, but is placed under suspicion for not helping to resolve the sabotage. She starts desperately shouting back, and while flustered mistypes "WATSO YOU ARE SUDS". When it's apparent that her defense isn't working, she decides to Face Death with Dignity and dare everyone to vote her. Ironically, the majority decision was the skip the vote — even Nene, the one trying to accuse her, voted to skip.
      • With the final meeting, Calli not helping resolve the sabotage gets brought up again to place suspicion on her. It's Risu's sole vote that gets her voted off for the Impostors' victory.
    • In the fourth round (Roboco and Iofi Impostors):
      • Iofi kills Luna in Electrical and hides away in the vent... but Aki just happens to walk in at the perfect moment. Aki scrambles for the Emergency Button, failing to notice Luna's body in the corner, only to be stopped by a crisis. Iofi initially shrieks in frustration, but collects herself after noticing Aki hasn't reported the body. Risu enters Electrical after Aki to report the body and start accusing Aki. When Aki begins accusing Iofi, Iofi tries defending herself... by saying that she's had three tasks in Electrical, right where Risu was. She gets voted out immediately.
      • Iofi initiates an oxygen sabotage, and Roboco isn't aware of what happens if the timer runs out. She scrambles to try and fix it, and is astonished to find that she's victorious for not doing so.
    • In the fifth round (Amelia and Suisei Impostors):
      • Suisei almost gave herself away after finally getting Impostor role. During her round as Impostor, she singles out Luna out of revenge, but almost gets caught venting if it weren't for a timely Emergency Meeting.
      • Nene wanders into Admin where Iofi was killed, but hesistates on reporting until she can actually see where it is. Roboco was in the room, too, and she picks up on Nene's hesitance to accuse her of self-reporting.
      • Meanwhile, during the first Meeting, Gura accuses Amelia, only for Amelia to start shouting back in chat.
watson: I was with u blind shark!
shark: I DID NOT SEE YOU
        watson: LOOK BETTER
      • Gura correctly deduces that Amelia and Suisei are Impostors, and opts to go for Suisei first since she walked by Aki's corpse and didn't report it. Suisei's only defense is "I don't speak English! I'm sorry!" but manages to stall out the conversation enough to avoid getting voted off.
      • Gura excitedly shouts "We're going to win!" just seconds before a door locks on her, trapping her with Suisei and Amelia. She screams and panics, frantically and futilely pressing herself against the door, while Suisei savors the moment before making her revenge kill to secure the Impostor victory.
    • In the sixth round (Amelia and Aki Impostors):
      • Amelia screams in anguish after being given Impostor for the 4th time this collab.
      • After Gura is among the first few to die yet again, she screams into the void.
      • Nene has the misfortune of happening to be near the body for the first few Meetings. This lets Suisei place suspicion on her. All Nene can do is profusely apologize to Gura.
      • Iofi almost managed to secure the crewmates a win where all she had to do was finish the asteroids task... only for her to cancel mid-task because she instinctively went to attend to a reactor crisis note . Before she can get back to the task, Impostors Win.
    • For the final round (Roboco and Risu Impostors):
      • Calli is completely exasperated that for seven consecutive rounds (12 including the last collab) she was not given the Impostor role at all.
      • Gura spent so much time as a ghost that when one of the last rounds begins, she reflexively tries to walk through a wall, only to remember living crewmates can't do that.
      • Gura and Risu discover Nene's body in Oxygen. After a momentary pause, Gura leaves but doubles back a few seconds later, and Risu has to go and report the body herself. Gura leverages this to accuse Risu for her hesitation. Gura lays out a convincing argument, only for Amelia to interject with "Gura sus" on the basis that Gura also took a long time to react to the body. Gura's reasoning gets undermined by her odd movements and she gets voted off for her trouble. When the Impostors win, Gura opens the commentary while dripping with passive-aggressiveness.
Gura: So, how do we feel now, huh? Not listening to Gura, huh?
        Amelia: I'm sorry, Gura!
Gura: That's alright! That's fine! Gura will remember this.
  • The fourth JP collab involves OKFAMS with Nene, Watame, Roboco and Marine. Highlights here and here.
    • Roboco gets Impostor almost every round! The viewers began likening her to the Terminator.
    • During the first round (Roboco and Korone Impostors):
      • Roboco performs a stack kill on Okayu in front of the lights panel. Nene picks up on this, realizes the difficulty in seeing the perpetrator in the midst of a stack kill, and highlights this to the Crew. The Crew decides to vote her off to her bewilderment.
      • During an Oxygen sabotage, Korone is panicking over being too conservative to get a kill. She decides to snag Subaru at the spur of the moment. From Subaru's perspective, she was just deciding that she deems Korone innocent, mere seconds before her death.
    • During the second round (Roboco and Nene Impostors):
      • Nene gleefully celebrates getting Impostor. Her joy is short-lived, though, as Okayu catches her in the act of Killing Fubuki.
      • Roboco draws first blood on her former teammate Korone. Korone screams and starts begging Nene to report the body, only to realize that Nene's also an Impostor.
      • Ayame catches Roboco leaving Security where she just killed Watame. She lays out her information in a matter-of-fact manner, calmly requests for Roboco's ejection, and adds that she doesn't mind getting voted out if she was wrong. Subaru and Mio are surprised at her efficiency.
    • During the third round, Fubuki kills Korone and Subaru in Cafeteria. Both times, they were trapped in the room with her, and both victims were essentially running laps around the room screaming for their life before Fubuki catches up to them.
    • During the fourth round, Watame is giddy over finally getting Impostor. She kills off Subaru first with a "Pardon me, but RIP". When Ayame helps guide the crew to vote her off, Watame reminds them that she can't respawn this time.
    • During the fifth round (Subaru and Ayame Impostors):
      • Ayame kills Watame in Navigation, however Watame's positioning causes her corpse to be obscured by the chair. Roboco enters for her task, but fails to notice that her Report button's lit up. It takes Fubuki to finally notice. Roboco is put under suspicion, and in her defense she's actually innocent this round.
      • Subaru kills Marine but also accidentaly pushes the Report button at the same time. Cue a flustered attempt to explain herself. Korone later correctly suspects her for her unusual movements, and Okayu casually suggests sacrificing her given their remaining player count.
      • Subaru's posthumous sabotaging inadvertently cost her and Ayame the win. Sabotaging the doors right when Mio was about to head to the cafeteria forced her to go to the intersection where Ayame killed Nene. Okayu and Korone being together when the meeting was called immediately casted suspicion on the last imposter, with Ayame being ejected without much of an alibi.
  • November 18th, 2020 sees Suisei, Noel, Botan, Ayame, Rushia, Polka, and Matsuri in a game of 7, where nearly everyone has some degree of detective experience. Highlights here
    • Rushia dies in almost every round. And when she dies as Impostor, it's because she's suspected for someone else's kill. Each time, her signature violent outburst of rage is a sight to behold (and not very good for the ears).
    • Whenever Rushia dies, she plays her audio as if she's talking from the dead.
    • Suisei finally gets the chance to be an Impostor in the first round, and she goes after Rushia. Noel gets compromised, and Suisei singles her out.
    • Suisei manages to kill Ayame just as Polka walks in and gets voted out.
    • In the second round, Polka gets killed by Botan right off the bat. Ayame correctly deduces that Botan did it since she knew that Polka died by the card-swiping task when Ayame hadn't mentioned it yet, but the logic is undermined since Ayame completely forgot that Botan was with her in discovering the body. Rushia, the other Impostor, ends up being voted out for passing by Ayame in the hallway moments before the body discovery.
    • In the third round, Suisei gets killed by Botan, and Matsuri's body gets reported which leads to Polka freaking out at the sudden deaths. With the conversation stalled and the Impostors only needing one more kill to win, Ayame correctly votes for Noel near the last second, but is tied by Polka who votes to skip.
      • The result ends up pointless since the Impostors won via O2 sabotage. Or to be more precise, Rushia running all the way from Admin to Medbay out of fear of Botan killing her despite kills being on cooldown from the meeting.
      • Suisei rages from beyond the grave when she tries to clue the Crewmates that Botan is the Impostor, but the game ends with Impostor win.
      • Perhaps the funniest part is how Suisei dies in the first place: she and Botan are in Admin, and Suisei notes that if Botan wanted to kill her, now would be an excellent time. No prizes for guessing what Botan does not two seconds later.
    • In the fourth round, Ayame whiffs at the last step of the Simon Says Minigame twice before giving up due to the Oxygen sabotage while Botan patiently waits the entire time for her to finish.
    • Matsuri gets her revenge against Suisei for the infamous Project Winter moment. Suisei loses her shit.
    • In the fifth round, Polka kills Noel in the east end of Cafeteria which surprisingly doesn't get noticed with everyone going through the west and south sides instead. It's not until Rushia calls an O2 Emergency that Ayame discovers it along with the sight of Rushia walking past the body and not slowing down. Rushia once again gets voted out without being able to kill anyone.
    • Polka kills Botan in Storage and pretends to task in Admin with Suisei, but Suisei quickly discovers the body and, despite the tablet task blocking the middle of her screen, notices that Polka came from Storage rather than the Cafeteria. What follows is Polka stubbornly insisting that she did in fact come from the Cafeteria which failed to be convincing.
    • Ayame misclicked and voted for Suisei which led to a lot of sudden yelling and apologizing over it.
  • The 6th JP collab in early December sees Fubuki, Marine, Korone, Okayu, Botan, Mio, Miko, Kanata, and Shion getting together. Highlights here.
    • During the first round (Fubuki and Botan impostors):
      • Fubuki kills Korone at Shields, and tries to vent away to safety, but gets spotted by Kanata due to poor timing. What would have been an instant vote-out under most circumstances goes off the rails when Marine starts suspecting Kanata on the basis of not immediately reacting to a crisis. Fubuki gets off scot-free as everyone agrees to skip voting.
      • Fubuki moves very aggressively and kills Mio in the middle of a crowd as they finish a Reactor Sabotage. Again, getting spotted in plain sight would have been grounds for an immediate ejection, but Botan capitalizes on Marine's earlier suspicion to get Kanata voted out. Fubuki's luck would eventually run out after Shion spots her walking away from killing Marine.
    • During the third round, Miko gets killed by Fubuki, and her screams of anguish are typical of her.
      Miko: WHY?! YOU'RE HORRIBLE! FAQ!!!
    • During the fourth round (Marine and Mio impostors):
      • As they skip the vote, Korone sings "kill~ kill~" but forgets to mute her mic. She gets alerted to it, and starts worrying over whether this makes her suspicious. Funnily enough, it doesn't, since everyone assumes it's the norm for her.
      • Mio takes the lives of Miko and Fubuki while they're in the middle of their tasks. From their perspectives, they're mimicking the sounds of their tasks only to get rudely interrupted.
      • Korone's needlessly creepy behaviour culminates at the very end of the round, where she gives Okayu a heart attack for no real reason.
Okayu: (having just voted out Marine) If that was the wrong answer, then Koro-san is the best mastermind I've ever seen.
        Korone: Yeah, totally.
        Okayu: EH!?
        [CREW VICTORY]
    • During the fifth round (Marine and Miko impostors):
      • Marine, who's been a thorough Nervous Wreck since she's had no prior Impostor experience, freaks out over getting Impostor the second time in a row. But this also makes her eventual victory that round much sweeter.
      • Miko gets outed for killing Shion. As her avatar gets pushed into the lava pit, her parting words are a Call-Back to her infamous struggles with Minecraft lava.
Miko: NOT THE LAVA! NOOOO! I'M BURNING!!
Mio: There goes all her items.
    • As per norm in almost every game, there's bound to be someone who dies in nearly every round. In this case, Shion is the one who kicks it in every round.
  • 16th December, 2020 has various members of Hololive and Nijisanji hold a collab.
    • Rushia gets very scared of Himawari Honma moving towards her, thinking this was Himawari cornering her for a kill and starts moving back and forward in panic. Himawari, from her perspective, gets equally suspicious of Rushia moving back and forth and runs away to trigger an emergency meeting to report Rushia for her bizarre behaviour.
    • Rushia talks to Mito Tsukino for the first time during this game and the conversation gets a bit awkward, with Rushia bringing up a previous incident where someone tried to dox Mito via posters at the school she attended in real life. Rushia regrets bringing up the topic and tries to apologise to Mito using her "Ikeman" voice. She forgets to unmute herself and it seems like she is being ignored as a result. "Rushifer" continues to flirt with Mito a bit, while Noel calls Rushia out for trying to get Mito's Line ID.
  • December 25th sees the collaboration with Botan, Lamy, Miko, Korone, Okayu, Marine, Roboco, and Noel. This time, though, there's alcohol involved. Hilarity Ensues as everyone (except Botan, who's not drinking anything alcoholic) involved gets more drunk over time and start making wild decisions. Highlights here and here.
    • As per norm, someone is bound to die a lot. In this case, Miko and Korone. Miko gets compromised and vented several times while Korone keeps getting killed. Miko in particular gets erroneously thrown out so often she ends up crying and pleading the others to not vote her off at the first opportunity... only for that round to be the one where she ends up missing an incredibly obvious body and making herself the actual main suspect.
      • For this collab Miko was using her new 3D model, and her anguished expression finely depicts her suffering.
    • Korone spends most of the stream barely conscious, often rambling about stories unrelated to the game (notably spending three whole rounds trying to summarize an episode of Sazae-san), and at one point falls asleep while doing a task. See here for a comparison of her behavior as she gets increasingly drunk.
    • As Noel gets increasingly tipsy, each time she gets killed she rages and bawls about it even harder.
    • In the first round, Lamy starts correctly suspecting Miko for killing Korone. When her suspicions eventually get a unanimous vote to eject Miko, Miko's last words involve crying out for her mother, as a Call-Back to her "best moms" collab from a few days ago.
    • Botan and Lamy become an Impostor together twice in a row. In their second Impostor round together, Botan kills Korone, then walks up to a corner to camp and eat her food.
    • In the fourth round, Lamy kills Marine, thinking that she has the perfect opportunity. Due to lag, the game didn't show her that Miko was in the room until about a second after. Miko reports the body, and Botan confirms Lamy's guilt based solely on Lamy's tone.
    • From the sixth round onwards, they all agree to crank up the movement speed. Things get truly bizarre when everyone's zipping around, sometimes going Too Fast to Stop to reach a task or body.
      • After Korone gets correctly voted out, she forgets to mute as she sobs over her ejection, and Marine shouts at her to mute and get on with the game.
      • The final vote in the game starts with Miko being suspected because she was standing still in admin. Miko begs to not be thrown off, stating that she was just laughing at her hamster pet that was caught in a weird position. Just as it looks like Miko would be ejected again, Lamy changes her mind at the last minute and casts her vote for Noel, right after Noel stated that she trusts Lamy.
    • In the ninth round...
      • Okayu turns off her stream display to hide the room code, and forgets to put it back up. For several minutes.
Miko: DING DONG. THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM THE WORLD OF THE DEAD. OKAYU'S SCREEN IS DOWN. DING DONG.
      • Okayu later vents into a room with three people. She gets away with it.
      • They eventually agree to form groups to do their tasks with minimal risk of a stack kill. Korone gets asked to pick her partner, and she chooses Marine over Okayu.
        Okayu: Why not me?
Korone: You're stabbed in the head, I don't want that.
    • At one point, they were about to start a game, only for Noel to get dropped. Which causes the girls to start a new game.
    • At the very end, when everybody is giving their final thoughts...
Korone: I think I'm getting scared of Okayu.
      Okayu: Eh, why!?
Korone: I just can't know if I can trust you or not anymore...
Okayu: Do you hate me now?
      Korone: ... I love you!
      Okayu: Then everything's fine!
Miko: Sheesh, you two, Christmas is over already!
      [...]
Lamy: I just want to say one thing. I'll accept any collab even if alcohol isn't involved, you know.
  • In February 2021, Sora organized a collaboration with herself, AZKi, Matsuri along with Asano Ruri, Kashiko Mari, Shinryaku Alice, Tenjin Kotone, Fuji Aoi, Hoshino Mea and Yaezawa Natori. Said collaboration started with everyone declaring themselves to be Tokino Sora, including AZKi. Once the actual Sora managed to get everyone to calm down, she said that she called only "seiso" people and asked everyone to introduce themselves. Once it got to Matsuri, who declared herself "in-charge of seiso in Hololive", everyone who isn't Sora reacted predictably.
Sora: For some reason, everyone has doubts.
  • Both generations of HoloID collab with Roberu, Aruran, Oga, and Shien for more multi-lingual shenanigans.
    • Oga's inefficiency as an Imposter surfaces yet again, murdering Aruran right in front of Reine. This leads to this argument from Oga:
Oga: Oga is still 3 years old - are you really okay with letting a 3-year-old boy fly into space!?
    • When Moona recovers from disconnecting, Ollie greets her with the "Dinner, Bath, or Sex" Offer. Iofi calls out Ollie for flirting with her wife, and Roberu even agrees that Ollie's going too far. Despite claiming Moona as her wife, Iofi just can't ignore the ability to murder her in electrical, sending the whole lobby into hysterics when they learn who killed Moona.
    • They also play with a house rule involving dead Crewmates having to scream on death. Iofi just lets out a lewd "ah~!" and the reactions of the other players range from awkwardly ignoring it to scolding her for making such suggestive sounds. Special note goes to Ollie who loses it and repeats the noise even lewder twice, and Moona who immediately recognizes that it's Iofi.
    • During the tag rounds, everyone starts messing around with their player names, with Roberu re-entering the lobby as 'winningson'. This leads to several name changes from Yamada, 'Shieso' (a pun on seiso with Shien's name) and Yagoo.
    • In one round, Aruran presses the emergency meeting button just to ask Roberu a question: "Are you winning son?"
  • A collab on 14 March 2021 has the standard fare of each member putting themselves in the focus of their perspective thumbnail. Except for Kanata, who edits her face to resemble My Love Story!!, and Fubuki, who edits a :^) emoticon onto hers. Highlights here, here and here.
    • The first round, Marine nearly gets ejected because she was mentally autopiloting and accidentally stopped to do the wires during an O2 emergency, which Noel becomes suspicious of. Lamy, the remaining imposter, attempts to piggy-back on this to vote Marine out, only to completely flub her own alibi, which earns her enough suspicion from the others that the voting is dragged out, with nobody casting any votes as Lamy tries to salvage the situation. This allows Marine to single-handedly vote her out at the last second out of spite, winning the crewmates the round.
    • Korone gets assigned a Card Swipe task, but because she was playing the game in English, she struggles a little with the instructions. When the game informs her that she's going too slow, she misses the "too" and interprets the instruction to go even slower. She ends up stuck on Card Swipe for an incredibly long time, getting interrupted by two Emergency Meetings. After the second meeting concludes (where she's still giggly from laughing over the argument then), she clears the Card Swipe in a single go, and breaks into laughter over how much time she's wasted.
    • During one of the later games, Lamy manages to turn an uphill game around and win as Imposter. While indeed awesome and made possible thanks to a set of crafty plays on her part, the blame game that allowed her to win is hysterical:
      • The remaining crew are in a decontamination chamber when Lamy gets Botan via stack kill. When the body is immediately reported, Fubuki wrongly assumes it's Marine. Marine fights tooth and nail to justify her innocence and to pin the blame on Fubuki instead, reaching a compromise where she'll willingly let herself get voted out next. Meanwhile, Korone can't help but laugh hysterically during the argument.
      • When this doesn't end the game, the emergency button is slammed, and Marine managed to get out of being voted out by forming a pact with Korone where if either of them dies, the other is voted out. Naturally, Lamy stalks the both of them and kills Korone before self-reporting. Marine can't escape this time, and is voted out.
      • The outcome gets even more awkward when, in the dead players' chat, Marine realizes that she shouted so angrily at Fubuki for naught and, with only 2 crewmates left, they've let Lamy get into the perfect position to secure The Impostors' victory.
    • The 6th round begins with Kanata and Botan performing a double kill on Coco and Lamy, their respective waifus. The two of them are briefly stunned when they realize how perfectly synced it was. The Crewmates win anyway, and Coco declares that she's had a perfect victory, being on the winning side every time. Then the others say they're still doing one more round, and Marine declares that Coco won't get to claim perfect victory.
    • Lamy ends up being the first to die again, stack killed by Korone (Miko gets the brunt of the suspicion though Coco is also considered suspicious), followed by Coco returning the favor from the previous round by killing Kanata as part of a double kill with Korone killing Marine. Kanata just laughs at this and later declares it to have been double kill payback.
      • After Coco gets voted out for this anyway, Kanata and Marine start yelling at her through ghost chat, but she's still muted. Kanata asks if she's burping.
      • Korone tries to appeal to the "Miko-Koro bond of trust" in the next trial. Miko bluntly replies "What's that?" Korone is voted out, and Coco's perfect record is ruined.
  • The April 9th 2021 Collab; highlights here, here, here and here:
    • Rushia uses a bunch of strange names as her handle throughout the collab, which gets the others to mistake her for a random at first.
    • Korone and Mio are the first two to die in the second round. Korone asks Mio who she thinks the Impostors are, and Mio says she remembers being killed by Rushia, only for Korone to respond that she's already forgotten her own killer.
      • That same round, Fubuki does such a good job covering her tracks that she manages to kill three people before any of their bodies are discovered, and fellow Impostor Rushia, who has successfully gotten Subaru to be her alibi by spending nearly the entire time with her alone without ever going for the kill, is the one to report the body. With the Crewmate/Impostor ratio at 3-2 heading into a vote, Rushia is confident that they're about to win...and the entire round gets nullified by a server error. Cue more rage, followed by everyone being amazed at how well the Impostors played and admitting that none of the six crewmates that had remained after Korone and Mio's deaths had suspected Rushia.
      • Meanwhile, Rushia is in amazement at Fubuki's skills in particular and admits that she thought Fubuki had killed all five of the dead Crewmates and had no memory of bailing Fubuki out when she thought Mio was going to catch her for killing Korone, eventually concluding that she'd accidentally hit the kill button when she'd meant to hit sabotage.
    • The next round, Luna is the first to die, with Botan reporting the body. Korone immediately accuses Mio, which leads to her being considered suspicious as well when she doesn't even know where Botan found the body. Once that information is revealed, they then point the finger at Miko, and before discussion ends Rushia also accuses Subaru. The actual Impostors are Fubuki and Polka.
    • In one of the first discussions of Round Four, Korone doesn't speak up at all, leading to Okayu being surprised to see her alive once play begins again and immediately trusting her. Korone, on the other hand, expects Okayu to be suspicious of her for exactly that reason and is "keeping an eye on her".
      • With Okayu and Korone still moving together, Rushia kills Botan in the cockpit right as the two of them approach and is begging Korone to kill Okayu before she can discover the body. Okayu turns around before reaching it, though, and is moving close enough that even with the lights out, she should have seen Rushia. Korone reports the body, immediately feels like she made a mistake in doing so, but somehow the entire discussion hinges on whether Korone killed and immediately self-reported in the short time they'd been apart and the OkaKoro ascertaining that if either of them were the Impostor, they'd have long since had a chance to kill the other; Rushia's presence is never even brought up.
      • Rushia is left with Okayu and Subaru as the sole surviving crewmates. All she needs to do is kill one of them to win. Problem: The Toppat Airship map is so large that, combined with her unfamiliarity, means she just can't find them. Meanwhile, Subaru runs from Okayu screaming for quite some time before she realizes that Okayu had enough chances to kill her during this "chase" that she's probably innocent. By process of elimination, she realizes Rushia is the imposter. Therefore, all they need to do is hit the button and vote off Rushia, right? Well, the map being so large works both ways in this case, as Korone and Rushia are enacting constant sabotages to try and pull Subaru and Okayu away from the emergency button. That, and Okayu has already used up her button presses, so when she makes it in she can't hit the button. Thus, viewers are treated to a long 2-3 minutes of Rushia running blindly through an empty map before stumbling upon Subaru and finally killing her for an Imposter victory.
    • Miko and Subaru realize they're in trouble when they end up as Imposter together, given their history of clumsiness. Sure enough, an attempt by Miko to perform a double kill goes horribly when Subaru while attempting to kill Botan mistakenly presses "Sabotage" instead of "Kill" giving enough room for Botan to report the kill. In the ensuing blame game, Botan realizes something's up when Miko tries to cooperate with Subaru even though Botan had posited both of them to be suspicious, since this is usually the part where people start throwing each other under the bus. Putting two and two together, she correctly intuits that both of them are imposters, and their attempts to persuade otherwise end up making them both more suspicious. After ejecting Miko, Polka calls for another meeting ready to eject Subaru when the game starts to crash for other members (Korone, Botan, Rushia and finally Subaru) giving the Crewmates a victory.
    • The very next round, Fubuki and Botan successfully pull off a double kill on Miko and Mio. The former's reaction to being made into an example of how to double kill is quite amusing.
      • Before those bodies can when be found, Botan kills Okayu during a lighting sabotage, expecting it to be another double kill as Fubuki was nearby and almost right on top of Luna, but Fubuki misses it and Polka finds the body. Fubuki is able to argue that Polka self-reported, and while no one is voted out, Subaru is in a state of panic because she had no alibi and felt she would've been in trouble if anyone had accused her, while Korone is so confused by Fubuki and Polka's debate that she's unwilling to eliminate anyone as a suspect, including herself.
      • Fubuki then calls a meeting and gets Polka ejected. Subaru is even more distraught, because while she was afraid that she'd be considered suspicious if she remained silent any longer, she'd also sad that she wasn't considered suspicious. Meanwhile, Botan is wondering if she made a mistake being the only one to vote Polka out, and sure enough, she's briefly drawn Korone's suspicion. It's all for naught, however, as Botan murders her with fellow Impostor Fubuki as a witness, who quickly finds Luna to secure the team's victory.
  • On April 19, the boys come together to play on the new Airship Map, but with an added twist - the proximity mod, which allows crewmates to chat and hear each other, depending on how close they are. This led to a lot of screaming at one another out of fear and suspicion.
    • Shien and Roberu at one point each receive the task to clean the ruby. While cleaning it, they both comment seperately that the sound made sounds awfully similar to Izuru laughing.
    • Temma's treachery towards the Hanakishi bond surfaces yet again.
    • Astel being Astel, with antics including making some very interesting death screams, sending threats in the chat system and his very aggressive heckling of Miyabi while as a ghost.
    • Izuru starts in the same area as Roberu and immediately flees from him, yelling at Roberu to stay away. Offended, Roberu retorts that he'll never collab with Izuru again (hilariously enough, they did actually plan one a week later).
    • During the final round, they decide to go back to one of the older maps for old times' sake. Upon arrival, Shien excitedly points out the most important part of the map:
Shien: Robesan, look! It's the cafeteria!
  • The June 21st collab; highlights here and here:
    • Kanata had a recording session that ran longer than expected so she wasn't present for the early part of the stream. In her stead, Fubuki steps in as Fake Kanata-kun who sounds like she's dying the whole time.
    • In one round, Kanata and Coco are the first to be killed and, from the first meeting on, proceed to go full TeeTee as they rant about getting offed by Marine and Korone. Noel even describes it as such.
    • Miko has a chance to be "it" in a round of tag. For her last kill, she homes on Botan, but the lioness manages to stay ahead of her, resulting in a very long chase that finally ends when Botan turns too early and runs into a table.
    • What should have been the last round ends abruptly when Coco and Fubuki manage to vent in full view of the others at the same time and for the same reason note . Neither of them bother to fight the accusations and only ask for a minute to think of an excuse. Not wanting to end on that note, everyone agrees to play another round.
  • The September 5th collab uses proximity chat mod to allow for more interesting interactions note :
    • Miko and Botan corner Lamy and kill her. Before they can make a clean getaway though, IRyS comes in just in time to witness Miko venting, which she gets voted out for.
    • Suisei announces that she is an imposter, even though she's actually a crewmate, and warns everyone against clumping together to get them to disperse. When she gets to be alone with Miko, she very loudly states that she will kill Miko, steps around why she won't just yet and dances atop a vent just to mess with her.
    • The ShishiLamy duo score an imposter round together, and to call it a massacre would be generous. Botan slaughters her way through crewmates left and right while managing to pin the blame on literally everyone else until they only need one kill, which Lamy scores by camping the emergency button (which has been disabled due to the ongoing emergency). Meanwhile, Miko and Aki were attempting to haunt Botan after getting double-killed, as in literally going next to her and making ghost noises using the proximity chat. It worked about as well as you'd expect.
      • Also in the same round as the deadly double-kill, an unaware and relieved Suisei approaches Botan, only to get killed abruptly right as she walks into the kill range. Miko, who's haunting Botan all this while, dramatically mourns Suisei's death.
        Suisei: Ah, I'm glad you're here—[Killed Mid-Sentence]
        Ghost-Miko: AAAAAAH! SUI-CHAAAAAAN!!
    • In the middle of a discussion, Kiara suddenly bursts out laughing because of a message Miko sent to Ollie in the discord group. She correctly intuits that the original phrase was "I want to do it with Ollie" in Japanese ("it" being "playing Among Us"), but DeepL picked up on the potential for innuendo and made the resulting translation more explicit (with Fubuki noting that the "F-word" came up), which sends everyone into a fit of laughter.
    • Suisei attempts to freak out Ollie by moving erratically... only to get murdered by her. Botan caught her red-handed, so Ollie quickly gave up on defending herself and started hamming it up instead, impressively creepy Evil Laugh and all.
Kiara: Do you have anything to say, Ollie?
Ollie: Well, you see... SUI-SENPAI'S BLOOD WAS DELICIOUS.
    • In another ShishiLamy round, Korone manages to catch Botan killing Suisei when Botan was heading away from the other oxygen switch. When Botan asks for proof, Korone's only reply was to watch the VOD later for proof. Cue everyone kicking Botan out and the crew getting the victory.
  • The big October 23 collab featuring all of hololive English using the proximity chat mod, with only Sana not streaming (but still participating):
    • Gura briefly cuts away from her pre-stream screen to show a crowd of twerking crewmates colored to resemble the United States flag, while a kazoo rendition of the US national anthem plays.
    • Before the first round even starts, Kiara asks everyone to introduce themselves and explain why they aren't sus. They take so long with their introductions that the lobby closes due to inactivity.
      • Amelia's reason is "because [she's] not wearing pants."
      • Calli goes off on a rambling tangent where she quotes a Bob Marley song.
      • Fauna claims she is "just a potted plant" and cannot kill. To support this she's standing in a corner in the lobby. The rest just come up with ways a potted plant can kill.
      • Gura stammers over why she isn't sus, before coming up with she "doesn't believe in sus"
      • Mumei says she's "an apex predator of the sky and could kill you if I wanted to," which everyone else immediately jumps on as "sus".
      • Sana depicts her Crewmate's flamingo hat as her Power Limiter, and just threatens to remove it to crush everyone else if she's wronged.
    • Regularly, various players get startled by the others just minding their own business. It's not unusual to see them get pinned in a dead end because a player they're suspecting just so happens to be standing on the other side of the only exit.
    • The first round goes lightning fast, with Gura catching IRyS redhanded murdering Mumei with the other Impostor, Bae, also in the room. Bae herself gets caught redhanded later in the round to secure the Crewmates' victory.
    • After the first round, IRyS says she was so brazen specifically because Bae was there and expected that the two of them would work together to frame Gura, only for Bae to throw her under the bus. She was so annoyed at Bae's betrayal that she kept stalking and bantering with the Rat as a ghost, and actually celebrated when she lost because that also meant Bae didn't win.
    • Early into Round 2, Kronii runs into Ina (an Impostor) while uploading data and requests that the latter not kill her, to which Ina seemingly acquiesces... only to kill Kronii while Calli (the other Impostor) and Amelia's ghost pass by.
      Ina: Helloooo~
Kronii: Hey, don't kill me, okay?
Ina: Okay. [Kills Kronii seconds later]
Kronii (as a ghost): I just said...
    • After two entire collabs and a round in this one totalling 14 rounds total, Calli finally gets to play Imposter and have a chance to reap. The only problem is, she doesn't actually know how the Imposter mechanics work. She had no idea how to go about faking tasks or activating sabotages, so after killing Ame early and then wording her alibis as suspiciously as possible without intending to, she then spends the rest of the round under so much scrutiny that she doesn't even attempt another kill before being voted out based on things she didn't even do. And the last kicker is, she doesn't get to be Imposter again for the rest of this collab either.
    • Later that round, Kiara points the finger at Calli on suspicion of having vented. Calli's defense is laughably bad, claiming that she "tried to vent and she couldn't", and while she isn't immediately caught, the accusation panics her enough that she reports the next dead body to turn up, only to be suspected of self-reporting (which she wasn't) due to literally everyone else being in the same place just seconds before she reported it and getting thrown out.
Calli: Mumei, you can vouch for me! I went down to the bottom and tried to go through the vent but I couldn't!
      Mumei: Howdy pardner.
      [Beat]
[The rest of the girls realize Calli's poor choice of words and start laughing.]
      ...
      [Calli reports the body.]
Calli: And that one was me, boys!
[Everyone else immediately voices their suspicion of Calli.]
Calli: I meant I reported the body!!
Amelia: Calli, you're just digging a hole for yourself.
      • Furthermore, she honestly hadn't used the vents—Kiara failed to check the room that Calli was actually in, then doubled back after Calli had gone back through the room Kiara had just been in and left through a different exit.
    • Throughout the second round, Ina manages to throw suspicion off of herself despite being an Impostor. Thus, Gura is shocked when Ina executes her, enough so that Gura frowns as she realizes she was utterly deceived.
    • Mumei correctly considers Ina the most suspicious individual remaining, but forgets that with only four people still alive, the game would already be over if both Impostors were still alive and completely undermines her argument by pointing the finger at Kiara as well, then compounds it by saying that it was suspicious that Bae hadn't spoken up much during the discussion, thereby having pointed the finger at everyone. Unsurprisingly even to her, she was voted out.
    • Mumei can really let out some powerful grunts of anger, and some even compare it to Amelia's own "gremlin sounds". She uses it to good effect while dead, since the Impostors can hear dead players (with an echo effect added) in this mod. Most notable when IRyS kills her in the final round, in which a muffled yell devolves into a feral growl of IRyS' name.
    • After Mumei gets voted off, she spawns in the same room as Calli, and they have a little exchange in their cowboy accents.
      Mumei: Howdy pardner.
      Calli: Howdy.
      Mumei: Who got your goat?
      Calli: Um... everyone.
Mumei: Oh, right, we voted you off! [starts laughing]
    • Right from the start of the third round, Gura is on to Ina, having seen her leaving the area where the first body was found just before discovering it, but Ina successfully manages to divert suspicion right back on to Gura. This in turn leads to a series of panicked reactions when running into Gura, with the voice cuts being made funnier by the proximity chat; even Mumei, one of the Impostors, falls for the jump scare! Gura was so amused by it that it ended up as her highlight of the game, asking clippers to compile the reactions into a single video.
    • Fauna, having been killed midway through Round 3 by Mumei, tries to lead IRyS to her corpse, only for IRyS to accidentally not report the body because she had her map up at the time and never saw it, much to Fauna's dismay.
    • During the third round, Watson spends most of her time trolling Calli, who's already nervous because of the suspicions of Gura being an Impostor. Then Calli runs into Gura, sending the Reaper into a hysterical fit of panic until IRyS, Mumei, Kronii and Bae pass by; the bloodcurling screams of which can also be heard from Amelia, Kronii and Gura's perspectives as echoes due to the proximity chat mod.
Gura: ... Am I that scary?
    • Gura gets the "clean toilet" task, and Toilet Humor is abound. She ends up getting the task enough times that it becomes her favorite task and she uses it as a recurring alibi. Kronii even uses Gura's proximity to the toilet as a basis to determine her innocence!
Kronii: So you never stopped by the washroom? That's pretty sus.
      Gura: How is that sus?!
Kronii: Cuz every time, every time you were innocent, you would do something in the washroom. [Everyone laughs]
Ina: She wasn't in the washroom, hm?

Gura: I said, "Haha, I did the sucky toilet! Okay guys, bye bye!"
Kronii: Oh, she's mentioning toilet again! See, Gura's in the clear! [Council laughs]
    • Amelia basically trolls Calli throughout the session.
      Amelia: Hi Calli!
Calli: Watson... you're not going to kill me, right?
Amelia: I don't know. [leaves on floating bridge]
Calli: Watson's just fucking with me! [Amelia chuckles]
    • After Kronii clears Gura, Gura finally tries to tell the story that she was never able to tell. Ame accuses Gura of the story having changed, and Gura immediately sasses her.
Gura: Nice job, detective, you can't read your own handwriting, it didn't change.
Amelia: But you changed the story! You hadn't accused Ina when you first told the story, you just said she was more suspicious and now you're saying you saw her cut her head off—
Gura: What, is my mic cutting out?!
    • When Gura manages a much more concrete argument for her guilt later in the third round, Ina just embraces that she's met her match.
Calli: Well that's, uh, very convincing. What do you say in your defense?
Amelia: Ina, do you have any defense?
      [Beat...]
      Gura: No, she doesn't—
      Ina: LONG LIVE THE TAKO.
      [Abrupt laughter, noticeably from Calli.]
    • After Ina gets voted out, Kiara wraps up her tasks as a ghost and is about to chat with ghost Ina... until Gura and Ame, still alive, suddenly burst into the room while arguing over Amelia's accusations. The two can only laugh as the alive crewmates duke it out, while Calli watches them silently bicker through the security cameras.
    • Bae takes a moment to go for an "idol meeting", so while the rest are waiting for her to return, the lobby descends into silly chaos.
    • Early in the final round, Mumei and Ina spawn together. Mumei asks "Wouldn't it be weird if you got Impostor three times in a row?", Ina replies "What are the chances, huh?"... and just walks away, as she was trying to keep a low profile because she was the Impostor for the third round in a row.
    • The final round has IRyS kill all of Council, but then Kiara catches her venting while she's still on cooldown from killing Mumei. Ina is right there, too, and kills Kiara before she can do anything with her new knowledge, to IRyS's gratitude... right as Gura reports Mumei's corpse, leading to IRyS's inadvertently outing herself and Ina as the Impostors as their "proximity chat" became exposed to everyone. This leads to Ina getting ejected, leaving IRyS to try and take out the three remaining Crewmates, who are actively looking to start another Emergency Meeting so they can oust her. While she manages to kill Amelia even after being exposed, IRyS eventually falls to Gura being faster on the emergency button. IRyS takes the loss fairly well, musing that she has wings and therefore getting thrown out wouldn't matter anyway, leaving Gura and Calli to merely reprimand her. They do send her off with a nice song.
Gura: [IRyS gets ejected] There she goes...
      Calli: There she goes again.
      Gura: High five, sheriff!
IRyS: I'm not going anywhere! I'm not going anywhere... (sighs in defeat as her Crewmate Impostor is ejected)
    • The fact that IRyS killed all the Council members in the final round has not escaped their notice, especially Kronii.
Kronii: [As a ghost] And if Bae's killed right at this moment, then—
Bae: [Killed by IRyS in the showers] AHH?! [slams desk in a fit of rage] KUSOOOOOOOO!!!
Kronii: Yup, yup! You see this?! You see this?! There's something about... she has something against the Council.
(Later, during the meeting where IRyS accidentally rats herself and Ina out...)
Sana: Did IRyS destroy the entire Council?
Kronii: IRyS is banned from Bunkeronii. I'm taking back the fox.
    • Hilariously, until she noticed the pattern of IRyS's kills, Kronii was very nonchalant about her death.
Kronii: [In the middle of completing a task.] It's a really good spot to kill someone right about now. Oh boy, is anyone passi— [Killed by IRyS] Oh. [Finishes up her task as a ghost and phases through the wall into another room.] Well, at least I can go here easily now.
    • After Bae gets killed, Kronii is bummed to notice her cosmetic pet hamster is still on the map, left all alone.
Kronii: That's sad. What's its name?
      Bae: Pet.
Kronii: ... you've been hanging out with Mumei too much.
    • Omegaα also noted the annihilation of the Council and Tweeted their own suggestion.
Omegaα: No hope for the Council.
Put IRyS on trial for the next Council meeting.
  • The Hololive JP 2021 Halloween collab:
    • Very early on, the girls are introducing each other when Noel accidentally kills Miko while she was checking her key bindings. Miko laments that she hadn't even introduced herself yet and scolds the knight as the latter apologises.
    • Marine buddies up with Fubuki, Noel and Lamy, calling their group a light music club and that they're all friends who trust each other. This doesn't last long as the latter two perform a double-kill in the hallway, causing the radio hosting pair to cry at the betrayal. As Noel's kill count rises, her victims all band together to haunt her, alternating between being jealous of her breasts and goading her to kill. Eventually, she succumbs to the pressure, kills Okayu in the open and confesses to Aqua and Shion that the ghosts made her do it. The vote against Noel is essentially treated as a Mercy Kill.
    • Marine and Noel both do the cannister task, and are talking about nipples, when the latter dies. Marine shares this with the rest of the group, and Miko gets fixated on the word as the discussion goes on.
    • Aqua and Okayu go around all lovey-dovey and tell Nene, as they cross paths, that they're going to elope. These plans come to naught as Okayu gets distracted by Suisei's singing.
    • Suisei scares Lamy by not loudly wanting to be an impostor and just quietly following her.
    • Suisei has been wanting to be an impostor for the whole run and, when she finally does, immediately loses herself to her bloodlust and kills Okayu in the open. She barely musters up a defense and even votes for herself. By the end of it, she sounds drained from the game making her a crewmate instead of being an imposter.
  • On December 29, 2021, the members of HoloX join a few of their senpais for a game of Among Us.
    • The comedy starts even before the game does:
Matsuri: So today we're going to play with the new faces. The newcomers in Hololive, the 6th generation, HoloX. And so I brought the senpais who are supposedly really strong at Among Us with me. So let's play the Space Werewolf game, Among Us!
Noel: Wait! Someone here is... Why is she-
Miko: Hello! Yes, I'm very strong.
    • Other highlights include La+ repeatedly getting locked inside rooms because she's unable to work the card swipe, and Miko and Iroha recreating the balcony scene.
  • February 13, 2022 saw Miko, Matsuri, Fubuki, Korone, Lamy, Polka, Chloe, and Koyori get together for a game of Among Us which doubles as a drinking stream. Lamy, likely because she's built up a tolerance, is by all accounts the most sober person there.
  • May 7, 2022 saw yet another big collab with Haachama, Korone, Pekora, Noel, Marine, Towa, Nene, Lui and Iroha.
  • The June 22, 2022 collab between Miko, Suisei, AZKi, Fubuki, Marine, Noel, Lamy, Lui and Koyori:
    • The first round immediately sets the tone when Fubuki kills Marine and Noel right as they finish introducing themselves, with Fubuki and Suisei unabashedly announcing themselves as the round's Impostors. Bonus points for Noel getting killed by Fubuki after the former smugly stepped on Marine's dead body.
    • Round 2 has the Crewmates adopt the voice of little girls while the Impostors are saddled with the voice of old men. With this in context, Lamy gets into an argument with Marine and start calling each other old women while doing their best little girl impression.
    • Round 2's Impostors are Suisei and AZKi, and the former kills Fubuki right as the round starts and successfully diverts attention away from her and onto Koyori, though Koyori is lucky there aren't enough votes to cast her out.
  • In celebration of the Hololive Cosmicube, HoloEN and ID (Kiara, Calli, Gura, Ame, Mumei, Moona, Ollie, Anya, Reine, Zeta, and Kobo) play some games together.
  • EN and ID get together again, this time featuring Kiara, all of Council, Moona, Ollie, Anya, and Zeta.
  • The EN Christmas collab with 9 players, one which is FUWAMOCO. This also took place when the JP members spend their Christmas betting on horse races.
    • After Ame gets killed first in the first two games, Kiara begs for the girls not to kill her first. Ironically, Kiara would vote her out in a later round causing the real imposters to win the game.
      • Bijou thought Ame getting immunity meant she would be safe if she followed her. She almost got voted out.
    • FUWAMOCO got voted out twice, both times as imposters since they can't agree on their lies and the third time as a civilian because Ame jokingly voted on them but the other girls followed her lead, which led to the real imposters winning that round.
      • After one of these ejections, Bijou, their victim, told them in the ghost chat that "biboo will remember this." Mococo typed "forget it biboo bau bau" in response, but the censor made the message sound very salty instead.
        FUWAMOCO: forget it bi*****au bau
        Mori: ??????????????????
Biboo: what did u say to me
        watson: ?????????
FUWAMOCO: WHAT DID I SAY WRONG
    • The girls deciding that the Hide and Seek games should be a "little" faster.
