Funny / Legend of Polka

  • "I Didn't Ask For That Info!", the first episode of the series, Cold Opens with Polka laying in the corner of the set reading a funny manga. Izutsu-san shows Polka another interesting manga she found, Magical☆Tokki, which turns out to be something Polka drew herself in 5th grade. She proceeds to spend almost the entire rest of the eight-minute episode either cringing at it or tearing apart its premise. The very next video in the series is Polka's attempt at a theoretical "Do It Yourself" Theme Tune for said manga.
  • "Today's Kids are INSANE" sees her answering mail-in questions from children and generally helping out with their worries. YAGOO (using a Gag Censor) makes a surprise appearance at the end of it, instantly taking apart the already rocky premise by bluntly stating he's 47 years old and declaring himself in the "41st grade", much to Polka's confusion and amusement. His "worry" is a bout of stiff shoulders, which causes Polka to slouch over in embarrassment and half-jokingly tell YAGOO to buy several massage chairs for the office.
  • Polka ends up playing Ping Pong League, Cover's first game, after Izutsu-san claims to have randomly stumbled upon it during her Steam library browsing.
    • Polka's first match against the easy difficulty AI has her wondering out loud why it's not returning her serves, thinking the game's broken, until Izutsu-san points out that the ball has to bounce once off Polka's side of the court for the serve to count, unlike in tennis. This sets the mood for most of the first half of the episode, which is a montage of Polka screaming a lot at the game.
    • The second half of the episode is an interview with YAGOO about the development of the game. He and his staff delved into Unity engine thinking that game development wouldn't be that hard, only for them to realize the game's doomed to fail some months into development - Polka just chuckles at how bluntly YAGOO stated that fact. He also mentions that Cover's motion tracking and character animation tech came about as a side feature of Ping Pong League, to which Polka asks:
Polka: Whoa. So hololive was birthed from ping pong, then?
  • "Wait, Did a holomember Actually Sneeze Like This?" takes the kushami tasukaru meme to its logical conclusion by quizzing Polka on which sneezes are who's.
    • Izutsu opens the episode with a cough-like sneeze, explaining that she might have hay fever. Polka eggs her on to do it again, to which Izutsu says she can't do stuff like that on command, only to sneeze even louder mere seconds later. Polka then tries to explain the "gap moe" aspect of sneezes, but Izutsu finds it too complicated.
    • During the quiz, Polka initially guesses that Person #1 is Sora, before backpedaling and saying that she'd find it unforgivable if the staff recorded Sora sneezing just for the program. After listening to it again, she guesses correctly that it's Matsuri, saying that her second "sneeze" was obviously intentionally played for Rule of Cute.
    • Person #2's sneeze is an indistinct "psh", with Polka comparing it to a soda can opening or a breeze. After listening to it again, both she and the script writer break out into laughter as Polka yells "How am I supposed to know!?". When Izutsu reveals that the answer is Watame, Polka refuses to believe that she actually sneezes like that and thinks it was something recorded off-stream. (For the record, Watame really does sneeze that softly.)
    • Person #3 is just Botan doing a really poor impression of a sneeze, which Polka figures out almost immediately. (For the record, this is how Botan sounds when she sneezes.)
    • Person #4 is a "HENNG" that sounds so obviously like Subaru that Polka and the script writer laugh again. Izutsu asks Polka if she's sure, which actually causes Polka to second-guess herself for a bit.
    • Izutsu makes Polka do some extra work for the prize the staff planned for winning the quiz (a trip to the beach) by having Polka sneeze, with Izutsu judging it. Polka produces a bombastic one by tickling her nose with tissues (like in her debut stream), making Izutsu laugh for quite a bit before saying Polka's won her prize.
  • In "Dragged to School at Night!", Izutsu tells Polka that she found out that hololive ERROR's Aogami High is based on a real-life abandoned high school, offering Polka a ride to the place to explore it. When they get there, Izutsu drops her off and leaves, since she's too scared to go in even with Polka. Polka was initially scared of the place due to its imposing entrance, but as she explored it, she was more fascinated and confused by it than anything, even jokingly chastizing any possible ghosts for leaving the place so dirty. This is in stark contrast to Izutsu's expectations, as we see from the occasional Gilligan Cut — Izutsu is seen playing around with a figure of Polka, roleplaying as her while pretending to be scared.
