Group logo

  • Anti-Hero Team: In comparison to TEMPUS's goal of fighting Corruption for the betterment of Elysium as a whole, ARMIS seems to hunt Corruption Beasts and criminals for more selfish reasons such as fun and especially profit. Promotional material around their debut and their Image Song also give them a dangerous and unscrupulous image.
  • April Fools' Plot: On April 1, 2024, the four did an announcement stream while using each other's modelsnote , trying hard to pretend to be one another while constantly forgetting how each other normally acts.
  • Bounty Hunter: ARMIS' official unit bio specifically describes the four members as being mercenaries and monster hunters, who operate in the Badlands of Southern Elysium. This is in contrast to Guild TEMPUS, who are an Adventure Guild based in the Utopia of West Elysium.
  • Breaking Old Trends: To date, they are the first gen where their lore has them antagonizing their senpais, in this case TEMPUS. While previous gens tended to be respectful and affectionate towards all previous senpais, ARMIS started out as hostile and competitive towards TEMPUS.
  • Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: Like the other members of holostars, they have colors associated with themselves. Jurard has vermillion, Goldbullet is viridian, Octavio is indigo, and Ruze is crimson.
  • The Ham Squad: Their gen probably has the most chaotic energy out of all of Holostars EN. All four of them are capable of bombastic ham, but it's most prominently seen with Jurard and Ruze.
  • Hunter of Monsters: Their guild objective is to hunt down all of the Corruption Beasts that roam the Badlands.
  • Image Song: "BLOODHOUNDS" is their official unit song.
  • Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: Despite Jurard trying to pass them off as evil badass bounty hunters, they are decidedly this in practice. Goldbullet is too nice to play along, Octavio tries to be scary but comes across as cute, and Ruze flip-flops from being a jerk to really just being a sweetheart. Jurard himself ended up becoming the most bullied member of ARMIS with his horrible luck.
  • Laughing Mad: While it's mostly seen in Jurard and Ruze, all four of them are capable of unleashing unhinged, maniacal laughs.
  • Only One Name: Interestingly, this applies to three out of the four boys, who have no second name listed, with Jurard being the only exception.
  • Role-Playing Game 'Verse: Like their TEMPUS counterparts, ARMIS also boast an RPG-esque stats system. They even have their own version of the TEMPUS Guild Card, known as the License to Hunt, which displays their core stats in a similar manner.
  • The Rival: ARMIS is a rival guild to TEMPUS, with the ARMIS boys often taunting TEMPUS and flaunting their guild's superiority.
    • Jurard's stream background even has the portraits of TEMPUS' members being framed like targets to eliminate, with Altare's face on a Dartboard of Hate and the others' being crossed out as if killed.
    • Amusingly, when Jurard calls in on Altare's birthday, Jurard insists that he is Altare's rival and nemesis only to be flabbergasted when Altare is unable to remember who he is.
  • Similar Squad: Lore-wise, ARMIS is framed as a more villainous or at the very least antiheroic counterpart to the overall benevolent TEMPUS, whom they made a point of standing out from with their more ruthless and money-driven MO. Members of ARMIS tend to mirror many members of TEMPUS as foils.
    • Jurard is the counterpart to Altare, with both being the gun-toting leaders of their teams. They however contrast one another with Jurard being a loud, aggressive, and greedy red-themed hunter to Altare's mellower, calmer, blue-themed isekai hero. He has also been compared directly to Bettel due to both of them being boyfailures.
    • Goldbullet is mainly a counterpart to Shinri, with both being tall, muscular ranged weapon users with deep voices and laid-back personalities. The contrast comes from Goldbullet being a sniper, while Shinri is a ronin archer. Goldbullet's eagle motif and design also reflects Hakka's raven motif.
    • Octavio is mainly a counterpart to Flayon, with both being The Baby of the Bunch among their generations with similar sounding voices (enough that other talents have had trouble differentiating them in voice chat), relying on a combat ability that is noticeably different to the more traditional weapons of their peers (Flayon with R-TRUS and Octavio with his puppeteer powers), and having sinister undertones to their personalities. He also has an entertainment-based occupation (music conductor/puppet show host) akin to Bettel (a jester).
    • Ruze is a counterpart to Axel, being The Big Guy who values brute strength above all else, runs his mouth without thinking, and has a penchant for bad language. The contrast is that Ruze is loud and bombastic, while Axel is more gentler and down-to-earth.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Much like TEMPUS, they bicker and banter just as much as they get along.

    Jurard T. Rexford

Jurard T. Rexford [JP:ジュラルド・ティー・レクスフォード]

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/f_l7tbxb0aa4owi.jpg
"Ciao domo! Oreno namae wa Jurard T Rexford Desu! Soshite orewa Holostars en no IKEMEN OUJI— JURARD SAMA DA"

Debut date: November 17th, 2023
Birthday: February 7th
Age: 21 (at debut)
Height: 181 cm
Languages Spoken: English (fluent), Filipino (native), Japanese ("slightly")
Fanbase Name: Sorawrity
Illustrator: HABAN
Channel: Youtube
Social Media: Twitter
Role: Leader
Alias: Banchounote
The Devilishly Handsome Bounty Hunter and Leader of the ARMIS unit. A half-man half-dinosaur, Jurard's love for money led him to get a career hunting Corruption Beasts being enticed by the bounty prize money.
  • Abusive Parents: Played Forlaughs. Several onstream instances have led him to become 'pregnant', most notably Juned the son that Ollie impregnated him with. He is subsequently hilariously abusive and neglectful to the kids he birthed.
  • Animal Motifs: Dinosaurs. He has sharp teeth, and is capable of manifesting scales and a dinosaur tail.
  • Ascended Fanboy: He's a fan of Usada Pekora, and now he works at the same company as her.
  • Better to Die than Be Killed: An interview with Hakka brought up the hypothetical life and death situations that the ARMIS crew can find themselves in, including getting stranded considering how completely desolate and harsh the deserts of the Badlands are. Jurard mentions that he would use his guns to call for help, but would save one last bullet for himself because he'd rather go out on his own terms before being killed by whatever monstrosity is approaching.
  • Brainless Beauty: Despite his bravado and manly charm, Jurard is depicted as not being particularly bright. While his Charisma stat is off the charts on his Hunt card, his Intelligence is at bare minimum by comparison, and he's described as "dumb and dangerous" on his own wanted poster.
  • Butt-Monkey: It didn't take long for Jurard to take the title of 'most bullyable member of ARMIS', to scream and panic at the drop of a hat and propensity to have comical and embarrassing things happen to him during games. He would go on to receive endless "boyfailure" allegations, no matter how often he tries to disprove them.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: He's the only ARMIS member who claims to be "evil" and is incredulous at his fellow teammates for being either too nice, too cute, or too goofy. Humorously, his awful luck and incompetence doesn't make Jurard himself very successful at villainy either.
  • Child Hater: Lists babies/kids on his list of dislikes on his debut stream (especially when they're crying). After he is impregnated by Ollie and gives birth to their child, Juned, he is shown to be an Abusive Parent who is neglectful and uncaring towards his child.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Hailed as one of the craziest most unhinged Holo talents to date, where even Ollie gave up on trying to out-crazy him.
  • Eye Color Change: His eyes are able to change from deep red to bright yellow.
  • Fiery Redhead: His red hair signals his bombastic, larger-than-life personality. He's Hot-Blooded, hammy, and has No Indoor Voice.
  • Guns Akimbo: His weapon of choice is a pair of large, ornate Magnums.
  • Gratuitous Japanese: Admits himself that he barely knows any Japanese, but doesn't hesitate to drop cliche Japanese lines into every other sentence. His self-introduction is also read in Japanese.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Half-human, half-dino.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: He openly claims to be an asshole, but past the banter and cursing he likes to put on, he can be quite nice and sincere underneath.
  • Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy: He admits the reason he wields two pistols is because he’s a terrible aim, so having two guns would increase his chances of hitting.
  • In-Series Nickname: His chat and some of the other boys call him "Banchou"note . This makes him the second talent in HoloPro to use this title, with the other being Hajime from ReGLOSS.
  • Lactose over Liquor: As it turns out, the glass of milk among the tankards of booze in the tavern teaser art before ARMIS' debut actually belonged to him. Jurard would later go to voice onstream his dislike for alcohol and getting drunk, having a preference for so many other non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Large Ham: He's loud, bombastic, and boisterous, with No Indoor Voice and constantly yells/screams. Other boys give volume warnings if ever raiding him, and he has to actually make an effort to tone it down to normal volumes.
  • Laughing Mad: More so than any of the other ARMIS boys, with Jurard's streams full of his maniacal cackling.
  • The Leader: He is the leader of the ARMIS bounty hunter unit. Whether or not everyone else respects his authority is a different matter.
  • Little Bit Beastly: He has a long reptilian tail, scale-like patterns on the sides of his face, and a mouth full of fangs.
  • Magic Pants: Averted. He doesn't like shifting back and forth between his human and half-dino forms because summoning the tail rips his pants.
  • Man of a Thousand Voices: He has a very impressive vocal range, rivaling Flayon, and can shift between higher, cutesy voices and deep growls all on the fly.
  • Mayfly–December Romance: Played for Laughs. Jurard infamously has a Tier 6 Membership called "Badlands Arizztocracy", with one of the perks being able to date Jurard for one week, where during this week said partner will have their name attached to Jurard's body to accompany him everywhere. After said week passes, Jurard's significant other will mysteriously die of 'natural causes', right before Jurard claims he was about to marry them. Jurard will then proceed to bury his dead ex outside his Minecraft house along with all of his other late exes.
  • Mister Seahorse: He was the one to become pregnant and give birth to his and Ollie's son, Juned. The details on how this was possible are never elaborated on.
  • Money Fetish: His official bio describes him as a very materialistic person, who values wealth and believes he can solve any problem by throwing enough money at it. Sure enough, money is listed at the top of his likes, and he outright admits that he became a bounty hunter in the first place because he thought he could get rich doing it.
  • No Inside Voice: He will switch from cool and collected, to yelling and screaming at the flip of a switch. He also has a very loud maniacal laugh.
  • Overly Long Name: He reveals that "Jurard T Rexford" isn't actually his full name, with that being the shortened version. His full name is "Jurard Tyrellias Rexfordicus Jr. Sr. EsquireJunedino II de silvaAmadeus Batumbakal Dela Cruz Del MonteFalco Dalisay Cardio Menudo Montemayor :) Manaloto II".note
  • Paper Tiger: While his lore video shows him to be more genuinely intimidating than say, Bettel, his hunting license listing his Danger rank at 1 star implies his bark is worse than his bite.
  • Perpetual Smiler: His model almost never uses his frown expression, even when he’s sad or angry. While he does appear to have one, it only is usually only used for thumbnails and rarely appears onstream.
  • Punny Name: His name is a pun on "Jurassic" and "T. Rex", fitting for someone with dinosaur traits.
  • Scary Teeth: He has shark-like sharp teeth, fitting to his half-dino heritage.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: He lets out a high-pitched scream whenever he panics.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis:
    • With his senpai Kureiji Ollie. Their collabs and interactions are full of insults and bullying one another. They also have the bizarre (even by vtuber standards) relationship of Jurard being the mother of their child after Ollie got him pregnant, while Ollie refuses to pay them child support.
    • With Ironmouse, of all people. Following Jurard's fumbled attempts at flirting with Ironmouse shortly after his debut, she began bullying him whenever they are in the same vicinity as one another, from Twitter to Jurard's own YouTube streams (often commenting on how she wishes for his failure in games), with Jurard responding in kind by getting mad and bantering back.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Jurard drops F bombs left, right, and center, especially when he gets emotional.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: He is known to arrogantly brag about how awesome and skilled he is, regardless of whether or not he can actually back the claims up.
  • Sole Survivor: Played Forlaughs. He reveals that his dinosaur family was wiped out by a meteor millions of years ago and he was the only one that survived.
  • Spear Counterpart:
    • To Kureiji Ollie. Many have pointed out the similarities between them, including the two themselves. Both of them are red-heads who are known to be unhinged and crazy with No Indoor Voice. Jurard outright says the two of them are practically family due to all their similarities.
    • Jurard has directly compared his design to Kiryu Coco, citing that they are essentially the same species as a dragon and dinosaur.
  • Unknown Rival: To Altare, with Jurard being the TEMPUS Leader's self-proclaimed nemesis. Altare on the other hand views him with amusement at best, while forgetting who he even is at worst.
  • Voice Changeling: He's a very versatile voice actor who is quite skilled at mimicking other people's voices, including other vtubers.
  • Warrior Prince: He states he is royalty, as shown by his crown. That doesn’t stop him from being a monster hunter chasing money and glory, though.
  • Young and in Charge: Much like Altare, he's the leader of the group despite being the youngest (with a known age, at least).

    Goldbullet

Goldbullet [JP: ゴルドブレット]

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/f_mb307a8aayvgg.jpg
“Will you give me the spice I crave?”

Debut date: November 17th, 2023
Birthday: June 30th
Age: 26 (at debut)
Height: 190 cm
Languages Spoken: English
Fanbase Name: Bubbies
Illustrator: Kadeart
Channel: Youtube
Social Media: Twitter
Role: Sniper
Aliases: Gibby, GB
The Friendly Sniper of the ARMIS unit, known for being chill and laidback, while also loves cooking.
  • Animal Motifs: Eagles. His clothing bears numerous feathers and other avian features, the ends of his cape are shaped like large bird wings, and an eagle emoji is his official oshi mark. Additionally, his role as ARMIS' sniper may be a stealth pun on "eagle-eyed".
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Don't be fooled by his affable, easygoing nature - Gold is still very much a ruthless hired gun when he wants to be, and the max Danger rank on his hunting card isn't for show.
  • BFG: Claims that his beloved Lorraine is "the biggest gun on the planet". While this may be Goldbullet exaggerating it, his rifle does seem impressively huge, especially considering the stature of its wielder.
  • Chef of Iron: He loves to cook and lists it as one of his favorite hobbies while still being an excellent sniper with a max Danger rank. He eventually did a cooking stream to commemorate his monetization.
  • Cute Little Fangs: He has a pair of these, which is an unusual design choice given his eagle motif.
  • Fire-Breathing Diner: Per his bio, Goldbullet is absolutely obsessed with spicy food, such that he will abandon his mission and pay to go on a journey to satisfy his craving for the burning sensation. He's also implied to be Unaffected by Spice, given how unfazed he was when consuming a dish in the past that was supposedly extremely spicy, much to his dismay.
  • Friendly Sniper: He's a pretty laidback and affable guy for being a bounty hunter.
  • Gentle Giant: Stands at 190 cm tallnote  while also being a friendly guy who likes cooking, collecting plushies, and cat videos. That being said, he is still a mercenary, and you do not want to be on the business end of his rifle.
  • His Name Really Is "Barkeep": He refutes his Evil Counterpart Silverbullet's claims that "Goldbullet" is a codename (and that his actual name is Gaston Baxter).
  • In-Series Nickname: Several of the other boys call him "Gibby". Some variation of that name or a combination of multiple variations of that name end up as the username he picks for many of the games he plays (e.g. "GibbayGB" in Minecraft, "Gibbeh" in Party Animals etc.).
  • I Call It "Vera": According to this tweet, his sniper rifle is named Lorraine.
  • Irony: Despite craving spicy food, he's also naturally extremely resilient to them, much to his dismay.
  • Mix-and-Match Critter: His mascot, the Bubbies, are Planimals who could grow flowers on their heads. They sport eagle heads on top of Super-Deformed gorilla bodies.
  • No Kill like Overkill: Made a fruit fly explode by shooting it with his sniper rifle during his debut.
  • Only One Name: Justified, since it's more than likely that "Goldbullet" is an alias or callsign rather than his actual name.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: For such a gentle soul, Goldbullet can be surprisingly foul-mouthed.
  • Stealth Expert: Comes with the territory of being a sniper. His Stealth stat is maxed out on his Hunt license, which is quite impressive given his huge stature, in contrast to how his significantly less subtle colleagues are depicted. It doesn't make him any less deadly, if his stellar Danger stat (tied with Ruze's) is any indication.
  • Token Good Teammate: While he has his moments, he's by far the most affable and nice of his guild.
  • Unaffected by Spice: From his hot sauce stream, it shows that it takes a lot spice to get a reaction out of him. Not that he minds though, compared to past hot sauce challengers Vesper, Magni, and Bettel.

    Octavio

Octavio [JP:オクタビオ]

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_1295.jpeg
"It's showtime!"

Debut date: November 18th, 2023
Birthday: April 8th
Age: 23
Height: 174 cm
Languages Spoken: English (fluent), Japanese, Filipino (native)
Fanbase Name: Octoposse (collectively), Poppets (individually)
Illustrator: Kazari Tayu
Channel: Youtube Twitch
Social Media: Twitter
Role: Puppeteer
Alias: Tavi, Tavioli (by Flayon)
A puppeteer who can control Corruption Beasts. He aims to put on the greatest puppet show in Elysium.
  • Artificial Human: Not himself, but he reveals in a karaoke stream that he has a number of puppet doppelgangers that he uses for shows that are capable of becoming sentient. He's not above killing them if they start trying to escape, though.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: He's the shortest and youngest looking of his gen (even though he's older than Jurard), making his genmates and fans dote on him like a little brother.
  • Bad Boss: Downplayed, as he mostly just likes teasing or annoying his Poppets and ordering them around. However, he is definitively this towards his lookalike puppet 5012khgia, who he kills and imprisons more than once for trying to rebel against him.
  • Camera Fiend: He lists photography as a hobby of his, and has an asset of him carrying a camera.
  • Competition Freak: He's gained a reputation among his fans for being very competitive over random matters, best exemplified by his conducting a four-hour long NPC vertical stream and declaring himself "The King of NPC Streams" for doing a far longer one than Jurard, Bettel and Ruze (whose streams topped out at 1 and a half hours at best).
  • Covert Pervert: He's not as big of a VOD-killer as some of his fellow Stars, but he enjoys making off-color jokes or using his extensive knowledge to throw out cursed trivia.
  • Elegant Classical Musician: His design has this as it's main theme, with him even carrying a conductor's baton in some art. His actual music taste is more pop, though.
  • Fanboy:
    • As he proudly shows off during his debut, he's a big fan of Taylor Swift.
    • He's also a longtime fan of various J-RPG series such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, and talks about them often. He even covered the song "No Promises to Keep" as a personal love letter to Final Fantasy VII.
  • Horse of a Different Color: Discussed. Instead of a car, he states that he uses a "wheeled Corruption Beast" to get around town. Given that he's a puppeteer, this wouldn't be out of place.
  • In-Series Nickname: His chat often calls him "Tavi" for short. A smaller subsection also like referring to him as "Maestro".
  • Mad Scientist: He's very knowledgeable about anatomy and his profile describes him as being devoted to the study of Corruption and Corruption Beasts. However, he's heavily implied to use his expertise for the sake of conducting strange experiments and creating bizarre "puppets" out of human and Corruption Beast parts.
  • Mind-Control Music: Sort of. He is a musical conductor, only he uses his baton to conduct people and Corruption Beasts. If his debut is any indication, his control over lifeforms is activated with his singing voice.
  • Meaningful Name: His name Octavio is based on an "octave", which means a series of eight musical notes in a scale. This is in reference to him being a singer.
  • The Noseless: Subverted. He does have a nose, but the shading on his face makes his nose harder to see when he's looking straight into the camera. It's much more visible when he turns his head to the side.
  • Only One Name: He isn't given a surname. Justified, since as he (very casually) revealed on his seventh "OcTalks with Octavio" stream, it's actually a codename.
  • Oscar Bait: His Bait-and-Switch Valentine's Day 2024 karaoke, which initially appears to be a scenario about the viewer meeting with Octavio at the church altar for their wedding ceremony and reminiscing on their romance, only to take a dark turn into a story of lovers torn apart by terminal illness and the reveal he is actually attending the viewer's funeral.
  • People Puppets: His main ability is that he's able to use the strings on his shoulders and his conductor's baton to control Corruption Beasts (however, he's also able to control ordinary beings if he so chooses). He also likes asking his viewers to give him control of them via his strings.
  • Singer-Songwriter: While he proclaims himself to not to be as prolific at music as Hakka is, he writes and sings his own songs and has an original opening theme tune for his streams. He's also known to randomly burst into song while playing on stream.
  • Shout-Out: His tagline is "It's show time" and he admits during his Spy Party collab with Jurard that it's based on the popular Filipino variety show It's Showtime. He and Jurard recreate the show's greeting, "What's up, madlang pipol!"Translation while cringing.
  • Signing Off Catchphrase: His ending stream transition has him say "Just kidding, let me control you!" and giggling mischievously before getting hit in the face with a plushie. He also always bids his viewers to see each other again "until infinity".
  • Squishy Wizard: He boasts some pretty frightening supernatural power in regards to his puppet strings, but his Endurance stat is still 1 star.
  • Yandere: He makes his fans sign a contract which allows him to claim ownership of their lives and souls. Also, his answer to Hakka's question about what he considers an "ideal date" during the Temprizz gameshow is strapping someone to a Wheel of Torture.
  • You Are Number 6: He initially introduces himself with a "My name is Five Zero-" before stopping himself and stating his actual name. It turns out that the the numbers refer to 5012khgia, who is a puppet doppelganger of his.

    Crimzon Ruze

Crimzon Ruze [JP:クリムズン・ルーズ]

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_1294.jpeg
"You’re pretty strong, but I’m even stronger!"

Debut date: November 18th, 2023
Birthday: September 30th
Age: ???
Height: 184 cm
Languages Spoken: English
Fanbase Name: Ruzaders
Illustrator: P-POCO
Channel: Youtube
Social Media: Twitter
Role: Beast Hunter
Elysium's greatest Monster Hunter and YOUR Least Favorite Idol.
  • Ambiguously Human: According to his official bio, he's rumored to possibly be a demon due to his immense strength, something further implied by his pointy ears, sharp teeth and Vague Age.
  • Blatant Lies: Insistently claims that he is a regular human despite his appearance says otherwise (especially his Obsidian persona).
  • Bling of War: Downplayed, in that Ruze believes in the philosophy that combat is pointless without style, so he wears bangles and nail polish just to give that little extra flair.
Ruze: If you don't look good kicking ass, why are you kicking ass?
  • Blood Knight: He loves fighting, and usually spends group collabs trying to do as much damage to enemies as possible while laughing maniacally. In his debut, one of the things the Ruzaders are said to expect from him is "catching these hands".
  • Brutish Character, Brutish Weapon: Wields an absolutely massive battle axe as his main weapon and used to be a rogue hunting Corruption Beasts illegally.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Ruze has multiple Split Personalities and each of them is represented by a different color: Crimzon is red, Azure is blue, Turquoise is...turquoise, Verdant is green, Vermillion is orange, Citrine is yellow, Quinacridone is magenta, Obsidian is black, and Radiant's color is hinted to be white.
  • Cool Mask: He wears a skeletal-looking mask, which he claims "only eats up half of his depth perception." His lore video reveals that it was taken from the remains of one of his old friends after they were transformed into a Corruption Beast and had to be killed.
  • Cross-Popping Veins: Uses an emoji of a cross vein as his oshi mark.
  • Cuteness Proximity: The Ruzaders are cute little gem-eating monsters that were investing Elysium and had a bounty on their heads. Ruze claimed the bounty but didn’t actually turn it in for the prize money. He claims it wasn’t because he thought they were cute, but because he could throw the Ruzaders at enemies and their axe tails would do damage. Either way, this decision led to the Ruzaders investing ARMIS' tavern instead.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Momentarily shows up along with Jurard and Goldbullet during Octavio's debut intro, even though he would debut after.
  • Eat Dirt, Cheap: The Ruzaders are said to eat gemstones, and their gem preference influences their color.
  • Fanboy: Of Homestuck, surprisingly. He jokingly listed it as his favorite Isekai during his debut and was about to launch into a giant discussion over the plot before getting cut off. His bingo card (to see if people could be friends with him) had ‘Likes Homestuck’ where the Free Space spot usually goes, and he made his stream fugi during the Vanguard x ARMIS collab a Homestuck talkspritenote .
  • The Gadfly: One of his likes as seen in his debut is being, in his own words, "a thorn in the ass", and one of his goals is to be called a bastard by every member of Holostars.
  • Handsome Lech: One of his personas, Azure is revealed to be one, with his attempts at flirting frequently veering into the bizarre or outright disgusting.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • Ruze has a surprisingly wide vocal range, shown during his Dead Cells stream where he jumps from his usual growly voice to a higher, soft spoken one and back.
    • Despite his tough, brash demeanor, he's often the Only Sane Man during whole-gen collabs and often takes it upon himself to rein in the others (such as when he muted them during their Monster Hunter: Rise collab).
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: Ruze insists he is a mean, tough, hateful jerk, but people quickly noticed his gap moe of how sweet he can be underneath the rough exterior, even though he'd never admit it himself.
  • Hot-Blooded: Like Jurard, he's boisterous and enjoys fighting.
  • I Call It "Vera": Ruze's battle axe is named Zephyr.
  • The Lancer: Is the second-in-command after Jurard, with Jurard himself stating Ruze would inherit leadership in his absence.
  • Large Ham: One of the most bombastic, hammiest Holostars to date, although he does tone it back a lot.
  • Man of a Thousand Voices: While he doesn't bill himself as a voice actor like Jurard, Ruze also showcases an impressive range which he uses to play the various Split Personalities within his body.
  • Many Spirits Inside of One: A vertical stream done in January 2024 revealed that, for unknown reasons, Ruze's body contains multiple versions of himself, each nicknamed after a color: there's Crimzon, Azure, Turquoise, Verdant, Citrine, Vermillion, Quinacridone, Obsidian and Radiant.
  • The Nicknamer: He tends to refer to others as "Nerd", be that his genmates or his own chat.
  • No Inside Voice: Not at the level of Jurard, but he's close.
  • Only One Name: "Crimzon" is actually a title; Ruze does not have a surname.
  • Only Sane Man: Surprisingly, despite his outlandish, hammy nature, he's often the voice of reason among ARMIS collabs. He’s usually the one to keep them on track with stream etiquette like doing introductions and mic checks, and generally remains the most focused during gameplay.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Ruze may be a bounty hunter and weapon specialist, but he's not afraid to get into arts and crafts, as shown during a Valentine's Day stream. He even sees a pair of scissors as a weapon of sorts.
  • Red Baron: Pun aside, he's become known throughout Southern Elysium as Crimzon Ruze or "Ruze the Red".
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Rare two-in-one variant. As Crimzon Ruze, he's wild and bombastic, but as Azure Ruze, he's a lot more mellow. The coat is colored accordingly.
  • Self-Deprecation: Proudly advertises himself as "your least favorite idol" any chance he gets.
  • Split Personality: He has numerous personalities within him which are all differentiated and referred to by different colors, with Crimzon being the main persona or host. His other personas revealed include: Azure, Turquoise, Verdant, Vermillion, Citrine, Quinacridone, Obsidian, and Radiant.
  • Too Many Belts: 42, to be exact.
  • Tragic Keepsake: His mask and coat used to belong to a member of his old gang, who succumbed to Records Corruption and was cut down by Ruze.
  • Tsundere: Ruze specifically denies being one of these, calling himself a "tsunhater" (meaning that underneath his rough exterior is even more hatred). That being said, he has had several moments of sincerity that put these claims in doubt.
  • Vague Age: He's the only member of Holostars EN to not list an age on his profile card.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Jurard. Ruze outright admits that while he loves Jurard, he also loves beating the hell out of him. This is best demonstrated by his appearance in a stream of Minecraft, Jurard was doing where he randomly showed up just to kill Jurard with an axe, but then left him a cake as a gift afterwards.
  • Xtreme Kool Letterz: It's "Crimzon" with a Z, not an S.
