A whimsical and wonderfully silly online text-based fantasy roleplaying website created by two girls out of school.

Valetonia has the following Tropes:

There are a pile of characters; Characters and their tropes are currently being accumulated in alphabetical order.

  • Dark and Troubled Past: Home life, childhood, internal conflicts, abusive first love, isolation, drug addiction, self-harm... It wasn't pretty.
  • Fatal Flaw: Her insecurity. Manifests in envy and perfectionism, among other things...
  • The Perfectionist: When she feels that something she is going to do won't touch perfectionism, she probably won't attempt doing it at all. This has screwed her over in school for years.

    Adelheid Leavold

    Bryn Ostler
  • Braids of Action: Envisioned wearing a thick black braid. She's a spy and constantly on the move.
  • Tomboyish Name: Her actual name is Brinna, but she prefers going by Bryn.

    Esteri Quendalyn
  • Hidden Depths: Her passion, promiscuity and extroversion are often mistaken for shallowness. Esteri is compassionate, thoughtful, sensitive and nurturing. She also runs a network of spies.
  • I Am What I Am: She doesn't want to change her mannerisms for the court.
  • Older Than They Look: Although in her thirties, Esteri's magic preserves her appearance as a woman in her mid twenties.
  • Rebellious Princess: She was a rebellious princess this while young and immature. Her rebellion against the monarch is now a quiet underground movement.

  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": He despises his birth name Troubadour that his father, a historian, wanted to name him.
  • Hidden Depths: There's a lot more to him than being a flighty, self-absorbed womanizer. For one, he really is intelligent. And his apathy and demotivation come from a dark place. When he isn't clouded by that he is a charming, outgoing scientist-mage with a zest for life.
  • Innocently Insensitive: He's really a good guy, he just gets too wrapped up in his head to realize what is appropriate and what isn't.

    Ilari Quendalyn
  • Older Than They Look: Ilari is over fourty and has a mature face, but it is not blemished with lines or any signs of aging.

    Jillian Lark
  • Missing Mom: Her mother has a gambling and drug problem and frequently abandons Jillian and her father.

    Svana Leavold
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Svana was a hard-headed noblewoman before her abduction and doesn't want anybody's pity over her ordeal.
  • Hidden Depths: Although appearing selfish, she sacrificed her freedom to give Adelheid the chance of surviving, so she can't be all that bad.
  • Ice Queen: She had always been ambitious, cold and distant, giving off an Emotionless Girl vibe.
