Dzwiedz24 is a Polish Let's Player and former video game reviewer. His channel features a playthrough of most missions from Destiny 2 and the first two DLC, some Overwatch (both in complete match and highlights form), incomplete playthrough of Darksiders and assorted single videos about older, often indie games. If he's not cursing a blue streak, he's referencing pretty much anything and going on random tangents.

In August 2018, Dzwiedz24 has moved to Twitch, with some gameplay clips (and stream intros) posted on his Facebook page. Some videos have been posted on the Youtube channel since, in addition to the older Let's Plays.

Regular Twitch Streams:

Featured tropes:

  • Added Alliterative Appeal: the two accidental cluster bomb videos from Black Ops 4 have four-word titles where all words start with the same letter, P in the first one and S in the second one.
  • Alphabet News Network: The video watermark and layout of the news ticker are heavily based on the largest news TV station in Poland that also has "24" at the end of its name. The title for Overwatch video series, "Wake Up And Suck", parodies the station's morning show, "Wake Up And Know".
  • Aluminium Christmas Trees: The shoddy bootleg game dubs Dźwiedź talks about in the John Seed boss fight livestream were a real thing, both for PC and the first PlayStation.
  • Amazing Freaking Grace: A half-minute promotional video for Far Cry 5 let's play, showcasing Dźwiedź's absolute lack of vocal talent.
  • Angrish: During the playthrough of the Uprising mission in "Wake Up and Suck: Death in Venice", Dźwiedź veers into this, managing to use even more expletives than usual.
  • Art Evolution: The opening animation, news ticker and video frames popping up in the outro screen changed slightly over time.
  • Atomic F-Bomb: The sign that something just went disastrously wrong. Missed jumps, badly thrown explosives, collapsing floor and the like. Less common is the Polish version, with Trilling Rs.
    • A non-typical one gets deployed in the "Wake Up and Suck: Eagran Uisce Beatha" in response to Dźwiedź's team's McCree POTG that involved wiping the entire enemy team with High Noon.
  • Backhanded Apology + Apologetic Attacker: "Oh, I'm so sorry... except I'm not." is almost another Catchphrase.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Usually in the Destiny 2 PVP videos. Also a variation in "What is this (thing/group)" in the PVE videos.
  • Bilingual Bonus: While the videos are subtitled, the occasionally appearing crawl is not translated.
    • Some phrases in Polish are directly translated English idioms, that are obvious in the Recursive Translation of subtitles. Some gags also hinge on translating English synonyms incorrectly on purpose, like Dźwiedź making seal noises and clapping in response to Joseph Seed's "A seal has been opened" in the John Seed boss fight livestream, or using bilingual homonyms, like the title of Far Cry 5 let's play series explained below.
    • Pay attention to the subtitles and credits in Dźwiedziu's Bizarre Adventure. The subtitles of the opening scene are a close approximation of what is being said, while the credits are a Credits Gag.
  • Blood Knight: Very much so. From the Far Cry 5 livestream:
Dutch: Those fuckers are willing to die for that psychopath that's leadin'em.
Dźwiedź (in English): Oh brother... I will oblige.
  • Bowdlerise: Subverted in the first Destiny 2 video, "Darth Bucket Makes A Grand Entrance", with the sudden exclamation of "DUCK'S FOOT!" as if that was an expletive. The Centurion that shows up in that moment is wielding a multi-barreled volley gun, similar to the historical "duck's foot gun".
  • Brick Joke: The corruption charges against the mayor of Złomowice Śląskie. The accusations get the highlight spot on the news ticker in "Return to Castle Junkenstein", the acquittal is a throwaway item on the scroll in "Death in Venice".
  • Buffy Speak: "he just... thingered out somewhere!"
  • Call-Back: in the first Curse of Osiris video, upon inspecting the killed Descendant Vex Goblins, Dzwiedz exclaims "They're sombrero-wearing Vexicans!", a reference to eighth Destiny 2 video, "Saving Captain Robotpants".
    • Another, cross-series one happens in the final episode of Fifty Shades of Bray, referencing the Gothsyderz episode "Clit Earthworm".
  • Casual Kink: In one of the Shadow Warrior 2 livestreams, Dzwiedz casually says "Tea and BDSM? I'll have to try that." followed by "I have a pretty cool pair of handcuffs, by the way." and Eyebrow Waggle.
  • Catchphrase:
    • "Someone? Anyone? Bueller?"
    • " a boor, like a beast, like an animal." when a game requires doing something in a tedious (and usually low-tech) way.
    • "Let's push the wheelbarrows!"
    • "I ran out of ideas." after suicidal or near-suicidal plays, often involving explosives.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Not full blown, but has his moments, particularly the Delayed Reaction to a kill in Black Ops 4 video "God of Hellfire".
  • Cloudcuckoolanguage: But of course. "Cookies" and "candy" for things like first aid kits, ammo packs and the like, "glowies" for important items that tend to be highlighted ("glowies" being itself a shout-out to Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal).
  • Couch Gag: "Crucikibble: Ritmo de la Noche Edition" has the title blur and the eagle spin too far and then fall over.
    • The Faith Seed livestream intro uses Faith-related graphics and "Help Me Faith" instead of the usual country music.
    • The Doktor Dźwiedźrespekt show starts with a Vanity Plate in one Central/Eastern European language (mostly Slavic with the exception of Romanian) of the "Molvanian National Radio Committee" and an opening with Doktor Dźwiedźrespekt doing something (giving a thumbs up, parodying the famous James Bond opening sequence, aiming a revolver at the camera).
    • The first "Dźwiedziu's Bizarre Adventure" stream has the title in Japanese in the intro, all following ones have it in English. Also, the initial scene changes from stream to stream.
  • Crawl: Sometimes, mostly during cutscenes, a news ticker appears in the lower third, referencing situations and quotes from either the current or the previous videos.
  • Cue O'Clock: the clock on the news ticker says bizarre things like "HIGH NOON", "OUTATIME" (for Destiny 2) and "TOO LATE" (for the Backlog games). When Darksiders gets spun into its own series, the clock says "6:66". In the Far Cry 5 videos, the clock says "MT13:38", a reference to the Gospel of Matthew.
  • Dramatic Thunder: used in the Title Drop for the third Darksiders video.
  • Drives Like Crazy: mentioned twice in the Far Cry 5 videos:
"Fuck me. You know what? I'm wondering, how the fuck did I get a driver's license?"
"You'll get your truck, but don't expect me to watch the paint."
  • Early Installment Weirdness: the opening animation in a few initial videos is set to a happy jazz tune. In later ones, it's replaced with heavy metal one.
  • El Spanish "-o": In the Battle Royale video, "Pugubugu Island", commenting on the nearby gunfight:
"I'm having mi pantos fullos here..."
  • Facepalm: Instead of a highlight animation for the second game in "Wake Up and Suck: Death in Venice", a clip of Dźwiedź dressed in a doctor's coat, body armor and a military beret facepalming in front of an Uprising event artwork is used.
  • Fast-Forward Gag: In "Noggin Juice", it takes five tries to beat a particular sequence. All but the first and the last one are fast-forwarded, with added screen distortion and fast-forward sound effects replacing the soundtrack... until the sequence comes back to normal speed and look to show the moment of the player character dying, followed with an exasperated comment and restart screen.
    • Averted in "White Men Can't Jump": four of the attempts are included in a separate outtakes video, but the main let's play just has a screen saying "Ten Attempts Later...".
  • Funny Foreigner: Dr Dźwiedźrespekt, "the best most known, the best most respekted video player in all of Molvania" persona from the Radical Heights livestreams.
  • Fun with Acronyms: The "UFC" Overwatch video. "UFC" stands for "Unusually Fancy Clobberin'" (itself something of a Woolseyism, see the Trivia page).
    • Also, the weekly clip show video, "KITy" (translated as "BS", short for "Brief Shots").
  • Gratuitous English: Tends to say things like "Hang on", "Hold up" and "Wait, what?" in the middle of speaking Polish.
  • Gratuitous German: The mock German "Raketen/Granaten to die face'en" line is pretty much a Catchphrase.
    • In the beginning of "The Old Stomping Grounds", Dźwiedź mangles German grammar, asking "Donnerwetter, was ist Ich? Eine verscheisste Flugzeugabwehrkanone?!" ("Goddammit, what is I? A fucking anti-air cannon?!")
    • "As said by Mr Mannlicher, langsam langsam aber sicher."
  • Gratuitous Russian: Happens occasionally, usually with the exclamation "Вон!" ("Von!" that translates to "Get out!" or "Get lost!") and "Это я, Вася" ("Eto ya, Vasya", which means "It's me, Vasya").
  • Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: PVP highlight videos from Destiny 2 are named "Crucikibble: [something] Edition", with the exception of "Amateur Hour" and "Christmas Night Fever".
  • Incredibly Lame Pun: "Acrobatics with bats, or, in English, acro-bat-ics."
  • Infomercial: in the Darksiders videos, browsing Vulgrim's shop is accompanied with a yellow frame with a bizarre offer: "Canned Whoopass, 250 kg! Order now and get a free tuba pummeling for your friend!", with the store's phone listed as +666 666-666-666 and a link to the game's website. Ostensibly sold by "Vulgrim Teleshopping"
    • The same gag is repeated in the Far Cry 5 let's play, with slight changes: "Montana Eco Whoopass, 100 kg with two balls!", the "two balls" being a callback to the first livestream. This time, sold by "Jingo Teleshopping", with the number being +1-800 F00K-PEG.
  • Inherently Funny Words: "śmieszki heheszki kiszkiloszki", translated as "fun and games", but also referencing the Web Animation series Kiszkiloszki.
  • Insistent Terminology: "irons" for iron sights.
  • Intentional Engrish for Funny: How Dr Dźwiedźrespekt speaks. It's partially based on the persona of Zladko "Zlad!" Vladcik, with a bizarre accent that stumbles all over Central and Eastern Europe, regular mispronunciations, weird grammar and occasional Polish words.
  • Ironic Echo: The news ticker header in the end of the last Destiny 2 video parodies the one from the beginning of the first one.
    • "I'm a man of my word, you want it, you got it." in the Jacob Seed boss fight video.
  • Lame Excuse: Dr Dźwiedźrespekt's "I left my mustache in my other jacket."
  • Large Ham: In the first and last Curse of Osiris video: "A Horrible Curse!", with a ridiculous accent and No Indoor Voice. Also, the "What is best in life" quote sung in "Crucikibble: Beer Edition".
  • Never Bring a Knife to a Gun Fight: Referenced several times in regard to the Red Legion in the Destiny 2 videos, starting with the Orphaned Punchline in "Darth Bucket Makes A Grand Entrance".
    • This comes back in the Black Ops 4 Battle Royale streams after the developers added a knife as an One-Hit Kill melee weapon.
  • The Nicknamer: In the Destiny 2 videos, Zavala is consistently referred to as "Papa Smurf", Cayde-6 as "Captain Robotpants", Ghost as "Ghostdude", the Fallen are "Gypsies" and the Vex - "Vexicans".
    • In the Overwatch videos, Hanzo is called "Honza" (or "Cesky Honza", as "Honza" itself is an affectionate form of the Czech name Jan), McCree is "Little Mac", Ana is "Granny Annie" and Orisa is "Horsie".
    • In the Darksiders Backlog, the protagonist is referred to as "Little Red Riding Hood", and the angel Uriel as "Alwaysette".
    • In the Far Cry 5 videos, the main antagonists get mushroom-based nicknames that double as references to Polish politics.
    • Nicknaming the Enemy: the cultists in Far Cry 5 get called "peggots".
  • Oddly Named Sequel 2: Electric Boogaloo: "Can You Dig It Too: Funeral Boogaloo" and "Turkish Rambo 2: The Sultan of Nuketown".
  • Phony Newscast: The weekly clip show KITy, styled after the News Broadcast "Fakty".
  • Playing Drunk: Inverted, of all things, in "Wake Up And Suck: Drunkenstein's Revenge" and "Crucikibble: Ritmo De La Noche Edition". The only indication is full No Indoor Voice mode.
    • "Wake Up and Suck: Eagran Uisce Beatha" raises the stakes by being in English.
  • Punctuated Pounding: in the Darksiders third episode, Dźwiedź painfully does it to four zombies.
  • Pun-Based Title: The plate in the lower left corner in the Far Cry 5 livestream says "Daleki Kraj" (Far Country, with "Kraj" being a homonym for "cry"). Also, Darksiders videos "Highway to Hel" (Hel being a popular seaside resort in Poland) and the Polish title of "Detour Through Griffinville" (Gryfice is a real town in northern Poland, the name of which can be translated as Griffinville, and the video focuses on riding a griffin-like Angelic Beast after leaving the highway from the previous video) and "Dungeons and Dumbasses" (a pig-based pun: "Lochy" means both "dungeons" and "sows", and "Knury" means "hogs").
  • Rapid-Fire "No!": In response to things falling apart in "Wake Up And Suck: Eagran Uisce Beatha".
    • And again, at the final stage of preparations before the boss fight in "The Chernobyl Worm".
  • Reference Overdosed: Mostly because Dźwiedź Speaks in Shout-Outs half the time.
  • Rhymes on a Dime: In "Gogol Bordello", "Invaders Must Die", "Barkley Shut Up And Jam" and "Crucikibble: Ritmo De La Noche Edition".
  • Rule of Three: Subverted and lampshaded in "Crucikibble: Christmas Night Fever".
" Nah, it's not funny anymore. I'm not gonna say "A swurd" like a complete retard for the third time!"
  • Running Gag: Every time a character breathes into War's face in Darksiders (and that's often), Dźwiedź reacts with absolute disgust and mentions of poor oral hygiene.
    • The Incomplete Forest in Curse of Osiris is called a different adjective every time, but never the correct one in the subtitles and video descriptions.
  • Sean Connery Is About to Shoot You: subverted in the Doktor Dźwiedźrespekt video "Songs To Chase Chickens To" (see "Throw It In" in the Trivia tab), played straight in the intro to "Dźwiedziu's Bizarre Adventure".
  • Self-Deprecation: "Wake Up and Suck". Lampshaded in the "Eagran Uisce Beatha":
"Welcome to Wake Up and Suck... Because that's what we do here."
  • Shout-Out: Happens so often that it needs a separate page.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: and how.
"Stop flapping your fucking coat, you fucking fuck!"
  • Sophisticated as Hell: Dźwiedź swears like a sailor, occasionally makes videos while drunk, sometimes drops into Antiquated Linguistics and knows a lot of obscure things.
  • Spoonerism: "Our defense is sicking duck" in "Wake Up and Suck: Chinese New Year", "slack and hash" (hack and slash) in "The Hungry Games: Duckcrow", "Bart Clinton" (Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye) in "Far Country: Going Shopping" and "balling trips" (tripping balls) in the Faith Seed boss fight livestream.
  • Standard Snippet: Destiny 2 PVP highlight videos use classical music for the intro, outro and splash screens.
    • The Vanity Plate for "Molvanian National Radio Committee" uses "Zadok the Priest".
    • The intro to Rocket League highlights video also uses "Zadok the Priest", more precisely the fragment that served as the inspiration for the iconic UEFA Champions League theme.
  • Stealth Pun: The biblical reference hidden in the Far Cry 5 news ticker clock.
  • Suddenly SHOUTING!: "And this means we're FUCKED!" in "Darth Bucket Makes A Grand Entrance".
    • Also, "How do you like THEM APPLES, MOTHERFUCKER?!" in one of the clips from The Universim presented in one issue of The BS.
  • Surprisingly Good English: "Wake Up and Suck: Eagran Uisce Beatha" is in English, and it was streamed drunk (see above).
  • Take That!: Against Internet kooks, often called "#Abyss" by Polish netizens.
"Oh, Abyssal Armor! I wonder if it protects from chemtrails, vaccines and the knowledge that Earth is round!"
    • Against the practice of buying kids ATVs as First Communion gifts in "Far Country: Going Shopping":
"AAAAAH! And they buy this shit as First Communion gifts! Fuck me, you can KILL YOURSELF with this hunkajunk!"
    • Another is the screen displayed before the Far Cry 5 videos: "Thank the fucking RIAA for those ads."
    • PewDiePie and notorious Overwatch pro xQc get one in "Wake Up And Suck: Eagran Uisce Beatha":
"I'm piss drunk (...) and since I didn't hit any, well, racist or homophobic rant 'til now I'm still classier than PewDiePie and xQc combined. That's an achievement... In basic human decency."
    • Variations of "Ubisoft, you never cease to disappoint", originally started in the Watch Dogs 2 streams.
  • Tempting Fate: "I'll be bloody hammered!" (the original Polish phrase means "Oh squeeze me!") during the fight with Straga in the Darksiders Backlog. Guess what happens to War at the end of that fight.
    • Discussed in the Faith Seed boss fight Far Cry 5 livestream.
"Maybe you shouldn't have said you found me? Finding me has harmful consequences."
  • Terms of Endangerment: "Buddy", or more rarely "Sonny".
  • Third-Person Person: when referring to himself as "Uncle Dzwiedz" or "Uncle Dzwieslaw".
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!: Used for this exact purpose in "Wake Up and Suck: Eagran Uisce Beatha":
"You done? My turn, you rocket-powered bitch!"
  • Threat Backfire: this exchange from the "Glorious Revolution" Far Cry 5 video.
Peggie: You'll see what the future holds!
Dźwiedź: The future holds a shovel!
  • Time for Plan B: announced loudly as "PLAN B!" whenever things start going south.
  • Trouble Entendre: "Exchanging pleasantries". Also, "party" meaning a shootout.
  • Unfortunate Name: Methodios in "Horrible Curse" gets mocked with the reference to the saints Cyril and Methodius, an incredibly lame "methods" pun and "famous Russian rapper Mefodiy Men".
  • Verbal Tic: Says "Alright" a lot.
  • We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties: The yellow "breaking news" section of the news ticker during the Fast-Forward Gag in "Noggin Juice" states "Do Not Adjust Your Set, Shit Got Fucked Up".
  • Xtreme Kool Letterz: The Darksiders series of Let's Plays is translated as "Gothsyderz". This is something of a Woolseyism, as the original title is a derisive term for goths in Polish.
  • You No Take Candle: Dr Dźwiedźrespekt speaks this way.
  • Your Mom: After the Destiny 2 protagonist gets introduced to Ghaul's off-hand slap.
"Sonny... You know who you can hit like that? YOUR MOTHER."

How well does it match the trope?
