A group of multiversal heroes that each find their way to OMT!Tails’s dimension in some form or another. Despite their many differences, they all have one goal in common; to use the abilities they’ve been granted to keep their homes and other surrounding dimensions safe from harm.

The team was first formed as a result of the entire multiversal conundrum in One More Hero, and further expanded as a result of adventures in More than One Universe and Into the Sonic-verse. As it currently stands, the Blur Gang stands at eighteen members, with Skye and Melody Prower being two honorary members to the team.

    General
  • Alternate Self:
    • Though compared to Spider-Verse, there are only six alternate versions of Sonic himself in the team, and only two of these are from official Sonic media (semi-official in Crossover Realm Sonic’s case). The other odd ones out are OMT!Mina, who’s a mongoose, EX!Alice and Black Knight Amy, who are each counterparts of Amy Rose, D-Mighty, who’s Mighty’s alternate counterpart, Trip, who is a sungazer lizard, and Nitro, Antho, Brian and Devy, who are Original Characters in the batch.
    • OMT!Tails and Nine are this to each other, having each experienced a Dark and Troubled Past and gearing up to fend for themselves. Their motives for doing so were drastically different prior to One More Hero.
    • OMT!Tails also has another one in the form of Anti-Miles.
    • Hog and Wacky are both this to the other Sonics, due to being bootleg characters.
  • Running Gag: Like in Spider-Verse itself, every new ally to the Blur Gang gets a "let's do this one last time" backstory summary (aside from Trip), some occasionally mentioning that it might not even BE the last time.
  • Screen Name: The crew have these as social media tags on the SEGANet, similarly to what TailsTube did. Each of their individual names are listed in their respective character sheets.
  • Super-Toughness: The gang are all tough for various reasons, whether it be inheriting the canon Sonic’s resilience, operating with special tech, or working on Toon Physics.
  • Two Girls to a Team: Like the original Spider-Gang, the only girls in the group when it was first formed are OMT!Mina and EX!Alice. Later on, Black Knight Amy and Wacky join them, subverting this trope.
  • Two Guys and a Girl: When working as a trio, OMT!Tails and Nitro serve as the two guys in the team, whilst OMT!Mina is the sole girl on hand.

    OMT!Tails

Miles "Tails" Prower (Dimension MP-2021)

Origin: Sonic.EXE: One More Saga by Mr. Pixel Productions

Replaces: Miles Morales and MCU Spider-Man

Click here to see Tails pre-transition

The iconic sidekick that Sonic always has by his side, and the main protagonist of Into, Across and Beyond!.

In this story, following OMT’s destruction and OMT!Sonic’s Heroic Sacrifice, OMT!Tails is forced to take up his idol’s mantle, and as different heroes from other dimensions cross his path, he learns exactly what being the hero of Mobius truly means... for better or worse.

  • Adaptational Angst Downgrade: OMT!Knuckles, OMT!Amy and OMT!Sally, his major guardians, all are fully aware of and actively support OMT!Tails’s mission to become the hero his home needs, whereas Miles had to keep his parents in the dark about every part of him being Spider-Man.
  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Him being forced to take up the mantle of Sonic is also topped by his Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory maintaining the memories of every death he suffered in his game of origin, as well as him having to lose OMT!Sally to Richard’s tyrannical rampage, which deeply upsets him until the lattermost is fully cured.
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: In many depictions of Tails (official AND fanmade), his second tail is a result of a genetic defect at birth. However, in IAB!, Crimtake reveals in Many More Heroes that energy he collected for Eggman Nega many years before One More Hero breached containment and found its way into OMT!Tails, granting him this second tail.
Crimtake: I worked for Eggman Nega. I ran a test on this interdimensional energiser that brought trans mutated energy here from another dimension. These experiments were going on for well before you became a hero, though that energy breached containment and got into you, giving you your second tail. My energy made you "Tails".
  • Adaptational Gender Identity: Whilst Tails is still a boy in the games, OMT!Tails, in this project, is a transgender boy, having originally been a girl before transitioning into his current status.
  • Adaptational Relationship Overhaul: Instead of being his parents, OMT!Knuckles and OMT!Amy both serve as guardians for OMT!Tails, and in turn also feeling like a big brother and sister respectively to the kid. Considering what he was forced to go through, he really needed it.
  • Badass Adorable: This being a version of Tails, the adorable side is undeniable, which is backed by him being the hero of his Mobius.
  • Battle Couple: As the heroes of their respective dimensions, OMT!Tails and OMT!Mina are this, allying up whenever the going gets tough.
  • Clark Kenting: Tails's nanomachine suit, which he doesn't often use for disguising himself, actually manages to trick the Hues of Metal robots, despite them not usually being fooled by disguises. Metallix, however, seems to be the only one who realises something is up, but is promptly outwitted when the trick is almost blown, the exact same way Mk. I/Carl made him vanish.
  • Cool Big Bro: Aside from being one to OMT!Cream, who he had adopted as a little sister, OMT!Tails also serves as such for Skye from Cosmic Discoveries onwards, helping the young boy grow past his initial shy nature and become brave in his own right. Needless to say, LM!Sonic got the worst of it when he decided to put their lives in danger, both indirectly (in OMT!Cream's case, allowing Murder by Inaction from Crimtake) and directly (when he attempted to lay harm to Skye himself).
  • Didn't Think This Through: Played for Laughs in Many More Heroes; after LM!Sonic is ratted out, OMT!Tails puts out a call for all multiversal heroes in the area to get after him, momentarily forgetting to state WHICH Sonic it is, which confuses several of the present Sonics. He does specify right afterwards, though.
  • The Hero's Idol: OMT!Tails is said to idolise Benjamin Miku quite a bit, to the point that he mimics the beatboxing from "Fresh" at the point CR!Sonic tells him to keep calm, and even manages to get Benjamin's autograph in the aftermath of More than One Universe.
  • It's All My Fault: After EX!Alice sustained her head injury, Tails was quick to blame himself for not being there earlier to save her from Surge. Come More than One Universe, however, and this escalated further, with him distancing himself from his loved ones after Sally’s death until he was found again. His meeting with his Mobiverse counterpart helps fix this.
"So much pain I couldn't prevent, but s-should have been able to... First losing Sonic, then Alice suffering memory loss, Uma being used as a weapon against me, and n-now S-Sally... ... I should've been a b-better hero for all of them... I guess... if S-Sonic was still here, t-then I wouldn't have g-gone through the hell I d-did..."
  • Killing Intent: OMT!Tails eventually develops this against Richard during their last encounter, though CU!Sonic personally intervenes to ensure Tails doesn’t cross the Moral Event Horizon.invoked
  • Magnetic Hero: In Many More Heroes, him defying Lost Memory Sonic and calling out his plan to let OMT!Cream perish to Crimtake inspires several heroes, including the majority of the Quill Society, to come to his aid in defiance of LM!Sonic and the supposed “canon”.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Between him, Nine and Anti-Miles, OMT!Tails is arguably the nicest of the bunch, having never wilfully taken harm on an innocent or resorted to unsavoury methods compared to his other counterparts. He’s also the only one of the three who does not have disdain for his version of Sonic.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: OMT!Tails and Sonic Prime both end up on the receiving end of this from Lost Memory Sonic, who believes them both to be ticking time bombs that could shatter the multiverse.
  • Plagued by Nightmares: Up until My Last Trauma, Tails was victim to this thanks to the trauma OMT had inflicted on him, which wasn't helped by his Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory forcing him to remember every death inflicted on him by the beast.
  • Screen Name: OneMoreSkyPatrol.

    CR!Sonic (Unmarked Into spoilers)

Sonic Maurice Hedgehog (Dimension CR-2017)

Origin: Crossover Realm by BECDoesDA

Replaces: Peter B. Parker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/crsonic.png

"Heh, what can I say? We're a little team! Me as the teacher who can still do it, you as the student who can also do it, just not as good, and Mina as a partner who can do it too! I'm proud of us!"
—CR!Sonic to OMT!Tails

An alternate version of Sonic from his own universe and the first multiversal counterpart OMT!Tails meets. Circumstances end up forcing him to be part of OMT!Tails’s journey to train to be his Sonic’s successor... and perhaps also save the world and clean up his own loose ends in the process.

  • Acrofatic: Due to binge-eating chilli dogs during his angst period, he has a slight bulge in his tummy. However, aside from a slightly-strained back, he’s still got the same skills you’d expect from Sonic the Hedgehog. He’s back to his regular shape by More than One Universe, though.
  • Action Dad: CR!Sonic develops into one after having Sonia and Manik with CR!Sally.
  • Age Lift: CR!Sonic is around 20 when One More Hero begins, and is 26 by More than One Universe. This mainly makes him old enough to have children without it being awkward.
  • Anti-Mentor: CR!Sonic only decided to teach OMT!Tails the bare minimum of what other stuff needed to be done as a hero and leaves the rest for him to learn. He gave up teaching the kid after Nega’s intervention, and Tails turns out to be even more successful when he’s not learning from Sonic. This was the whole point, however, as he needed OMT!Tails to learn that no-one can flat-out teach him to be the hero of his universe, and that it needs him to “take that first step” when he’s ready.
  • Art Evolution: For his appearance in One More Hero, CR!Sonic adopts a sprite style made by Cylent Nite, which puts him on par with his Sonic Adventure 2 appearance. In all stories after that, though, he adopts the Mod.Gen sprite style with a crown and a cape to signify his Character Development and new heritage.
  • Broken Pedestal: CR!Sonic and OMT!Mina end up on the receiving end of this from OMT!Tails in Many More Heroes after having been conditioned by LM!Sonic to let OMT!Cream die at Crimtake's hands. It severs their bonds for a short bit, though CR!Sonic recovers his connection with OMT!Tails through a platonic Anguished Declaration of Love and makes up for his mistake by helping keep the evil blue blur well away from the portal to where he and SS!Amy went. They fully fix things up when they find each other again in Cosmic Discoveries.
  • Character Development:
    • Initially, CR!Sonic was quite bitter towards OMT!Tails and just wanted to get home as soon as he could. He does soften up on OMT!Tails when he gets back to the OMT universe on his own, and starts to show more confidence in the kid.
    • Even though he still loved Sally following their breakup, he was scared of taking the chance to reconcile with her and his Tails, feeling he’d just mess it up again. And this was why he wanted to be the one to shut down Nega’s interdimensional energiser, believing no-one would miss him. However, taking the time to talk with OMT!Sally and getting encouragement from OMT!Tails helped him see that he had to “take that first step” to fix things up with CR!Sally. And when he gets back for real, he has indeed reconciled with Sally and the two are back to being a couple.
  • Composite Character: While CR!Sonic is still his usual self in this AU, he also develops traits from his RisziArts self, even down to having young Sonia and Manik as his kids later in life.
  • Deconstructed Character Archetype: CR!Sonic, in One More Hero, is this for the Kid Hero All Grown-Up. A key part of a hero of a Sonic universe is that, no matter how many times they’re knocked down, they find a way to keep on moving, and as a version of Sonic in the aftermath of the Crossover Realm continuity, one would assume CR!Sonic, as an adult, has mastered this. However, he’s hit hard by two emotional tragedies one after another; Uncle Chuck actually passes away from old age, and he breaks up with CR!Sally from the fear of becoming a king and having children. He’s unable to get back up from those blows and goes into a jaded mindset, a burnt-out work ethic and a chilli dog-fueled potbelly. Add that to his other concerns, and as a result, CR!Sonic is miserable, lost his passion for protecting his Mobius, and is disillusioned.
  • Doting Parent: Most definitely here! Despite being afraid of having children until the end of One More Hero, all points following that story show that CR!Sonic quickly changed his tune upon actually becoming a parent, even still being able to protect his home. He shows OMT!Tails and OMT!Mina several pictures of Manik and Sonia Acorn, gave his Chip’s bracelet to Manik, and genuinely has faith Sonia can stretch out into her own one day. His Sonia and CU!Sonic’s Sonia both bond really well in this way, too.
  • Happily Married: CR!Sonic and CR!Sally ultimately become this at the end of One More Hero.
  • Not Allowed to Grow Up: CR!Sonic has been the only major character to subvert this, as he’s a father with a loving family by the time More than One Universe starts. This becomes double subverted when that story begins, with him staying at the age he’s at from then on to maintain the SEGA multiverse’s rule of Never Grew Up.
  • Papa Wolf: Though initially dismissive of OMT!Tails, he gets more attached to the kid as the series goes on, which awakens his protective and paternal side again. He’s also this for his kids, Sonia and Manik, usually opting to do multiversal travel on his own to not endanger them in their youth.
  • Rebuilt Pedestal: OMT!Tails is quick to get enamoured with CR!Sonic again following his return, though his trust in the blue blur is completely solidified after he manages to teach him to run on water using his feet AND his tails as propulsion.
"Sonic, I take back all the rough things I said about you before! You are amazing!"
  • Screen Name: Royal-and-Quick.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: CR!Sonic ended up becoming a variant of one after Eggman Nega’s disruption, citing dimensions outside his own as “hell” when discussing it with Exegod. He thankfully gets better from it.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: As CR!Sonic rightfully points out in the fourth chapter of One More Hero, trying to do crazy stunts on a full stomach (his case in point being chilli dogs) is not the smartest of ideas, as he ended up throwing up lots when he tried it prior.
  • Took a Level in Cheerfulness: In More than One Universe onwards, he’s definitely a LOT more chipper and genuinely happy than he was back in One More Hero, in part due to having a family to look after and watch over.

    OMT!Mina

Mina Mongoose (Dimension NS-2021)

Origin: An alternate universe based on Sonic.EXE: One More Saga

Replaces: Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/omtmina.png

An alternate Mina Mongoose who took up the mantle as hero of her world after the deaths of her Sonic and Tails.

  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: While Gwen has a stable relationship with her father and even reconciled with him after revealing her identity, OMT!Mina had never been able to reconcile with her Ash, her ex-boyfriend showing nothing but contempt for her at the end of her backstory.
  • Badass Adorable: Like OMT!Tails, she’s quite cute and really kicks ass with her abilities.
  • Battle Couple: As the heroes of their respective dimensions, OMT!Mina and OMT!Tails are this, allying up whenever the going gets tough.
  • Bittersweet Ending: For her backstory. Though she ultimately destroyed her version of OMT, the demon ultimately got the last laugh thanks to Sonic and Tails being dead in her world.
  • Broken Pedestal: OMT!Mina and CR!Sonic end up on the receiving end of this from OMT!Tails in Many More Heroes after having been conditioned by LM!Sonic to let OMT!Cream die at Crimtake's hands. It severs their bonds for a short bit, though OMT!Mina doesn't actively try to stop him, instead making it clear before their brief parting that her love for him was well and truly genuine, and makes up for her mistake by helping keep the evil blue blur well away from the portal to where OMT!Tails and SS!Amy went. They fully fix things up when they find each other again in Cosmic Discoveries.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Though she herself had gotten some jealousy from OMT!Tails on account of her spending a lot of time with Pana Der Hejhog, she develops this herself while he's interacting with Nicole, dragging him back out of the Transport Hub room when it's getting into a Ship Tease.
  • Love Interests: OMT!Mina has this with OMT!Tails, and the two officially start dating in More than One Universe.
  • Mistaken for Murderer: It turned out that Ash got really bitter about her for the deaths of Sonic and Tails, despite her not having a part in it. And when she confronted him about it after neutralising Snively, it didn't stop him from attempting to finish her before EV!Sonic intervened.
  • The Mourning After: After the deaths of her Sonic and Tails, she withdrawed from wanting to make friends, which largely kept her from opening up to others prior to meeting the Blur Gang.
  • Screen Name: ThreeMoreMusicMakers.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: This is downplayed in that she is perfectly capable of doing so. She just doesn't want to go back after her Dark and Troubled Past, hence making Dimension MP-2021 her permanent home in the end.

    Mini Sonic

Sonic the Hedgehog (Dimension JA-1991)

Origin: Sonic the Hedgehog (J2ME port)

Replaces: Spider-Man Noir

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mini_sonic.png

A smaller version of Sonic himself originating from a stripped-down version of the very first game.

  • Adaptational Context Change: In regards to the Rubik's Cube, since Mini Sonic does hail from a world of colour compared to Noir, his confusion about it is instead attributed to the shades of colour not being from his world.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Mini Sonic's introduction has him saving OMT!Tails, CR!Sonic and OMT!Mina from the ruthless attacks of Zeena, finishing by sending her careening back to the Death Egg crash site.
  • Heroic Mime: Whilst he was this in his game of origin, this is subverted in the stories in that he has an active voice throughout his appearances.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: He may be smaller than Sonic was, but don’t let that fool you. He’s just as strong as the real deal and can really screw up a villain if they’re not careful.
  • Screen Name: J2MEBlueBlur.
  • Side Bet: Mini Sonic, in Many More Heroes, engages in one with Mr. Needlemouse on the off-chance that OMT!Tails didn't make it back in one piece. Due to Tails being alive and well despite having to find his own way back home, Mini Sonic won the bet and received 100 rings from NM.

    Mr. Needlemouse

Mr. Needlemouse (Dimension NM-1973)

Origin: An Original Character made by MCStudioProductions

Replaces: Spider-Ham

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_613e326004b87ce68ba063e24ef4d6f2_2287bb0b_1280.jpg

Half-hedgehog, half-rabbit and all-cartoon, this wacky cartoon version of Sonic based on Looney Tunes is amongst those that wind up in the OMT universe in One More Hero.

  • Beware the Silly Ones: Mr. Needlemouse is one of the least serious iterations of Sonic out there. Underestimate him at your own peril, though, as he's got just as much skill in him as other iterations of Sonic. When push comes to shove, he drops his jokes for a little bit and rescues Alice from Surge, and gives the tenrec a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown.
  • Decomposite Character: Mr. Needlemouse gets this with Wacky, the latter of which inherits Spider-Ham's more sympathetic traits while the former stays Plucky Comic Relief plain and simple.
  • Denser and Wackier: By a long shot compared to many other characters in the Blur Gang. He never suffered any losses (aside from one of his chilli dogs), he was simply designed as a cartoon, and his nemesis, Dr. Beeman, is really Laughably Evil and always fails to outwit the rabbit-hog.
  • Foil: Mr. Needlemouse's nature makes him one to many official Sonic cartoon iterations with the same Toon Physics; whilst those counterparts may've had times when they weren't their best selves and acted like they could handle any situation easily, a heart of gold was still there for all of them, and their main motive is to keep their worlds safe from the tyranny of their villains. Mr. Needlemouse, on the other hand, is mostly a Jerk with a Heart of Jerk about his toon properties and the idea that Status Quo Is God, especially around any villains. The cartoon Sonics have each had low points in their lives as well, like when AOSTH!Sonic was forced into a Sadistic Choice by his Robotnik between sparing his Tails and keeping various Mobians out of slavery. In contrast, Mr. NM hasn't had any such grievances, and such doesn't give a hoot when that Sonic mentions this AND gives him a "The Reason You Suck" Speech for it.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Whilst Mr. NM is undeniably a prick to many of those around him, he still cares about his fellow Blur Gang allies, to the point where he comes to help rescue EX!Alice from Surge in One More Hero.
  • Just Here for the Free Snacks: This is Mr. NM's main motive for working alongside the Quill Society part-time; though he dubs himself as useless despite his Toon Physics making him a brutal force out in the field, he still enjoys being kept fed.
  • Lost Food Grievance: Mr. Needlemouse once lost one of his chilli dogs. He never forgave himself for that loss, which makes up his “canon event”.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: He’s often about to lighten the mood whenever it’s needed.
  • Mythology Gag: His shoes resembling those of Mickey Mouse notwithstanding, his design is generally based on that of the prototype rabbit character from Sonic the Hedgehog’s early stages.
  • Reality Warper: Just like Spider-Ham, Mr. Needlemouse’s Toon Physics are retained in more realistic universes like that of OMT!Tails, which would’ve made him lethally deadly for the villains had it not been for the limits going as far as Rule of Funny. In this case, his finishing Anvil on Head should’ve crushed Surge’s head, though it simply knocked half of her body into the ground almost harmlessly. Of course, the attacks cause more humiliation than actual damage.
  • Screen Name: NEEDLEMOUSE.
  • Side Bet: Mr. Needlemouse, in Many More Heroes, engages in one with Mini Sonic on the off-chance that OMT!Tails didn't make it back in one piece. Due to Tails being alive and well despite having to find his own way back home, NM lost the bet and had to give 100 rings to Mini Sonic.
  • Toon Physics: This being an alternate version of Sonic solely based around cartoons, this is a given.

    EX!Alice and E4-R6:3

Alice [REDACTED] and "Sonic 3 - Round 6: Zone 3"

Origin: Sonic EX (AetherAsterisk's Sonic.exe take; Alice only)

Replaces: Peni Parker and SP//dr

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/exalice.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/e4_0.png

An active survivor of the twisted crystalline demon, Xenophanes, alongside a trusty mech she was able to acquire some time following the monster’s defeat.

  • Action Survivor: Until Caffrin’s Heel–Face Turn, Alice could not truly survive either her or Xenophanes, but she had been doing a really good job resisting the terror they brought out, becoming more and more unpredictable with each loop.
  • Adaptational Sympathy: In the official version of Xeno’s story, Alice is fully devoted to serving under the god and everything he stands for. In Sonic EX, however, she becomes a full-on survivor actively trying to defy Xenophanes and Caffrin’s combined reign of terror.
  • Best Friend: Compared to Spider-Verse, E4-R6:3 lacks much sentience and isn’t seen as a friend by Alice, mainly due to her still trying to cope with the loss of Caffrin. The Blur Gang become her true best friends by the end of One More Hero.
  • Genki Girl: This is initially subverted, since her initial time is solely Truer to the Text and has her mostly reserved in her appearances. After being saved from Surge, however, she’s a lot more open and embraces her new kid-like nature, being actively optimistic and adorable in her ways.
  • In Spite of a Nail: Despite never meeting any actual Sonic, Tails or Amy Rose in person prior to winding up in OMT!Tails’s world, Surge still sees her as the same as all of them without properly checking. This ends up having near-fatal consequences (at least for E4-R6:3) when the two are left alone with each other.
    • Her run-in with Xenophanes also counts towards the “canon event” criteria.
  • Older Than They Look: Whilst she is in her mid-30s canonically, her vessel is themed around Classic Amy who’s around 8, in turn making Alice the oldest member of the crew mentally. She’s aged down to 16 by One More Hero’s end, however, as a byproduct of her being in a vessel for so long.
  • Powered Armour: The Big Arms mech Alice re-engineered into E4-R6:3 even has its own AI, coming with the skills featured in its battle from Sonic Generations.
  • Screen Name: ExEvilMinion2011.
  • Took a Level in Cheerfulness: After the brain injury that caused her former memories to be lost, she develops this a lot, relegating into a sweet kid-like personality to move past her long-lived trauma.

More than One Universe Additions

    D-Sides Mighty

Mighty the Armadillo (Dimension DS-2022)

Origin: Friday Night Funkin' D-Sides by DastardlyDeacon

Replaces: Hobie Brown / Spider-Punk

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d_sides_mighty.png

An alternate version of Mighty the Armadillo from a universe that is inconsistent with its canon tendencies.

  • Foil: D-Mighty is this to Turbo. While Turbo is a Wrong Genre Savvy alien who is orange, got his position in sticking to The Stations of the Canon, and stays on Lost Memory Sonic’s side after The Reveal about “canon events”, D-Mighty is a purple armadillo, is from a universe that has absolutely no regard for canon and undermines the theory, and is not even on Lost Memory Sonic’s side in the case.
  • Irony: Hobie was an anarchist who was defined by his lack of consistency. D-Mighty, on the other hand, lacks a political alignment and remains consistent in his own personality; it’s how his homeworld rewrites everyone’s stories that’s the inconsistent thing.
  • Paradox Person: In a sense, which Lost Memory Sonic seems to actively dislike. D-Mighty’s world sometimes subverts the canon of its counterparts - in his case, the plot-critical death of Maria Robotnik is fully averted without anything equivalent happening elsewhere (granted, she’s a villain in that universe). Because of this, the mere existence of the D-Sides universe firmly contradicts Lost Memory Sonic and everything he thinks he knows about the Sonic multiverse.
  • Screen Name: Screw Le CANON!!!.

    Black Knight Amy

Amy Rose (Dimension BK-2009)

Origin: An Alternate Universe based on Sonic and the Black Knight by sstorminghearts / emistations

Replaces: Pavitr Prabhakr / Spider-Man India

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_f8f92713dc5205d70e73a5b2462b669b_e90dd523_1280.jpg
Art by sstorminghearts / emistations

A version of Amy Rose who had been dragged into the events of Camelot’s chaos by accident, and thus set out on her own quest to save the land from chaos.

  • Alternate History: Her story is basically Sonic and the Black Knight, but if she was dragged into the events instead of Sonic.
  • Easily Forgiven: Amy doesn’t hold anything against Merlina for what her spell caused, which is part of her remaining good throughout the entire story.
  • Morning Routine: Amy explains in Into the Sonic-verse that she has one of her own like Pavitr does. She skips workouts and proclaims she has no need to sort out her hair (though explains right after that she uses strawberry shampoo and a dash of coconut oil), and then follows it up with daily tarot card reading, helping deal with Eggman's troublemaking, and even taking care of the Chaos in her Station Square.
  • Pet-Peeve Trope: Amy really doesn't like the Department of Redundancy Department trope, disliking when people say more absurd sayings for things such as "PIN number" or "chai tea".
    • In Into the Sonic-verse, it's stated that OMT!Tails and Sleet fell afoul of this.
      OMT!Tails: Chai tea, huh?
BK!Amy: Tails! "Chai" means "tea"! It's like you're saying "tea tea"! Would I ask you for a "coffee coffee" with a side of "cream cream"? O-Oh! Sorry, heh. Got a little carried away there.
    • And then later in Many More Heroes, Crimtake, who's trying hard to become a No-Nonsense Nemesis at that point, also accidentally falls afoul of this.
Crimtake: I'm on a journey of, er... self-improvement! Yeah, that's it.
BK!Amy: And you came to Shamar of all places to do so? Are you trying to invoke one of those Western culture clichés, or something?
Crimtake: Wait, nonono! That isn't what I meant!
BK!Amy: So, what next? You're gonna ask me about saffron? Or cardamom? Or "naan bread", the exact same way of saying "bread bread" or trying to say "chai tea"?
Crimtake: Ooh, I love chai tea!
      BK!Amy: NOT YOU TOO!!!
  • Sadistic Choice: Amy is forced into one at one point; helping save a train Sonic was dealing with, Merlina or a young girl. Thankfully, OMT!Tails was on hand to help.
  • Shipper on Deck: Though it’s ambiguous whether or not she’s dating the Sonic of her universe, she is quick to see romantic feelings in fellow Blur Gang and Quill Society teammates, and does her best to support them should those feelings blossom.

A version of Sonic who’s a single father to a young daughter born from his and Amy’s genes, the two protect their universe in their own ways.

  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Considering CU!Sonic was forced to lose his Amy through currently-unknown means, he has to take on the burden of both protecting his world and keeping his daughter safe from harm.
  • Age Lift: Sonic is older in this AU to justify him having children without it being awkward.
    • CU!Sonia is also 6 years older than Mayday was, and thus even more up for solo combat.
  • Badass Adorable: For a six-year-old, CU!Sonia had proved to be quite capable of facing down crooks on her own, as demonstrated when she managed to somehow snag a whole criminal gang’s weapons AND their bomb without even moving. Granted, she didn’t know how to get rid of the bomb safely afterwards, but still, A for effort on her part.
  • Badass and Child Duo: A parent version of the blue blur and his little daughter also capable of kicking butt? What more could you ask for?
  • Missing Mom: The Amy Rose who would be the wife of CU!Sonic and mother of CU!Sonia is dead in this AU through unknown means, hence why the former is a single father.
  • Screen Name: CIIU Hedgehog.

    Nine (Unmarked Prime spoilers)

Nine (Dimension PR-2023; New Yolk City)

Origin: Sonic Prime

Replaces: Margo Kess / Spider-Byte

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nine_71.png

The Shatterverse counterpart of Tails from New Yolk City, normally going his own way and not being in it for either side.

  • Best Friend: Nine comes to develop this relationship with OMT!Tails and OMT!Mina, who both understand his struggles and respect him as his own person, therefore avoiding the Fatal Flaw Prime!Sonic had, which caused their friendship to collapse for a while.
  • Must Make Amends: Nine remaining in the Shatterverse after OMT!Tails and OMT!Mina returned to the OMT universe gave him time to patch things up with anyone he hurt leading up to More than One Universe, when he makes his return.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Nine ultimately comes to regret his actions which almost led to the undoing of the entire Shatterverse, and it takes OMT!Tails’s voyage there to help him make up for his mistakes.
  • Screen Name: 9x9=Badass.
  • Seen It All: In Tails of Trials, Nine mentions that Sonic.EXE's practice of his back to a victim before the reveal is starting to get stale, and tells him to cut right to the chase, which he does. It's downplayed, however, in that he didn't quite expect THIS Sonic.EXE to be the original entity.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Nine, compared to his Deadpan Snarker Anti-Hero (later Anti-Villain) status in Prime, is a lot more sympathetic here, and KNOWS nothing can excuse what he did in the series, despite having helped fix everything.

    Nitro

Christopher "Nitro" Smith (Dimension EV-2019)

Origin: An Original Character by Pico Digital Studios

Replaces: Insomniac Spider-Man

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nitro_2.png

A young teen following in the footsteps of his Sonic and helping keep his Mobius safe alongside the blue blur.

  • Alternate Self: Nitro himself has multiple of these, each inheriting their own Alternate Universe, as a result of him trying to avert his father being Doomed by Canon. For specific examples, there's:
  • Author Avatar: Though not a character directly representing his creator in terms of personality or appearance, Nitro is still seen as a flagship representation of Pico himself, mainly used front and centre in social media alongside to represent credit to any projects Pico has contributed to.
  • Being God Is Hard: After the Errorverse's reset, Nitro had been working to create a future where his father would be alive with him, but ultimately found it impossible, save for one case where he never experienced the signature attack on his home.
  • Berserk Button: Speaking of the above, Nitro really dislikes it when people have the gall to mock his attempts at bringing his dad back OR his father in question, which earns LM Nitro's ire.
  • In Spite of a Nail: Though he tries to Screw Destiny as actively as possible, there are a few canon cases he (almost) always ends up in:
  • Irony: Insomniac Spider-Man came from a video game and is self-aware about it. Nitro, on the other hand, came from a variation of our world and co-exists with the Sonic cast in said world, further accenting his own self-awareness.
  • Likes Older Women: Nitro is confirmed in his character post to be in this orientation, hence why he's shown to be comfortable with Milly flirting with him in his non-speaking cameo during "Quill Society HQ Tour". The EXE blood he inherited (and thus the EXE eye he's showing for that moment) could contribute to it.
  • Love Interests: He's said to be dating his Amy Rose, Amelia Walten AND his counterpart of Mina Mongoose.
  • Multiform Balance: Nitro is capable of shifting between his Mobian form and his original human form whenever he wishes to, which he had been confirmed to learn sometime after Toxinfect’s downfall.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: When the Errorverse underwent a Cosmic Retcon and changed to a "rewritten timeline", Nitro was one of the small few whose memories were intact from the start. He later helps restore some characters' memories, including those of the other three top members of Team Sonic.
  • Screen Name: Nitrogen-Fuel.

    Antho

Anthony Miller the Hedgehog (Dimension MV-2023)

Origin: Mobiverse by SFG1235

Replaces: Miles Morales (in his universe)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/antho.png

"I can’t be the next Sonic, even if some otherworldly hedgehog says otherwise. But this is my world and my rules. And I’m doing my own thing, whether you like it or not."
—Antho in his backstory recap

A hero of his own Mobius after the death of his Sonic. Antho even has his own team to help him on his way.

  • Alternate Universe: In terms of Spider-Verse sub-stories, Antho fits more along the lines of how Into the Spider-Verse played out, with Sonic passing on the role of shutting down his universe’s super-collider to Antho before he got killed by Mogul.
  • Amicable Exes: Antho used to date Honey the Cat in his universe. They’re still on good terms regardless.
  • Angst: After losing Sonic to Mammoth Mogul, his Mobius went into despair, and he always blamed himself for not saving him to the point of him becoming severely depressed and shunning himself away from others. Despite this, Antho did manage to save his world by defeating Mammoth Mogul and restoring Mobius to the way it is. However, he still has his fears and scars that one day, Mogul will return and turn Mobius for the worse again.
  • Autism: Antho is confirmed to be autistic and has shown to have traits of it. While he felt ashamed of it when he was a kid, it’s how he met Professor Albert Nuckowl, who would not only become his personal assistant, but also showed that autism can make a person very unique.
  • Best Friend: Like with Sonic and Tails, Antho’s best friend is Evan, a blue ice-air fox. His other best friends are Burnard the Echidna, Rebecca the Hedgehog, Ultra the Fobbit Warrior, and many more.
  • Big Brother Mentor: Antho is shown to be a big brother figure towards Ultra, a fox-rabbit hybrid known as a Fobbit. While the two started off as friends, Ultra looked up to Antho, admiring his heroic actions and friendly personality. Soon enough, the two were as close as brother and sister to the point where Antho would do anything in his path to protect Ultra, even if he wasn't there for her. While they may be apart from different islands or worlds, the two still care about each other, and whenever they’re together, they become a remarkable sibling duo.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Antho became this for his Mobius when he managed to defeat Mammoth Mogul and bring him to justice, essentially marking his spot as the new hero of Mobius.
  • Commonality Connection: Antho gets this with OMT!Tails, due to both having lost their versions of Sonic and taking up their hero’s mantle a bit afterwards.
  • Love Interests: While Antho may be some ladies man, he does admit to having some romantic tension with the MV counterpart of Lanolin the Sheep.
  • The Casanova: Antho has been shown as quite the ladies man, as he somehow gets the attention of multiple ladies. It’s unknown why or how, but Antho doesn't mind.
  • Offscreen Breakup: It’s unknown how Antho and Honey broke up, to be exact.
  • Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: When introduced into the story itself, Antho lets out “Let’s-a go!”, akin to Mario.
  • Screen Name: Totally Not Antho.

Post-MtOU Additions

    Hog the Tenrec

Hog the Tenrec (Dimension GI-2023)

Origin: His own story by Jack Gore; intended as an opponent in Vs Sonic.exe

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_3b6a4c94c973f6492347d81223b0ac27_a1777b15_1280.png
Art by Stikfig01

A bootleg version of the blue blur developed by GIGA, whose world parallels that of the blue blur and was built off of it.

  • Ambiguous Situation: Whilst he is ultimately killed in his story of origin with Scorched, it’s implied that Hog was perhaps pulled from before the Switch n’ Play’s systems got fried, which sealed Scorched’s fate judging by his absence from the story. It’s not really explained when.
  • Commonality Connection: As bootlegs, Hog and Wacky get this with one another and work together well as a result. They even get a good laugh out of the punny names of their arch-nemeses.
  • In Spite of a Nail: Because of the way the GIGA Switch n’ Play worked, there was just no way Hog and Sonic could properly co-exist, due to the latter’s code being overwritten when the Sonic 3 & Knuckles cartridge was inserted. And when they DID meet, Sonic, as Scorched, was nothing but vengeful, and caused the destruction of Hog’s entire world in his rampage. Into, Across and Beyond!, at the very least, gives Hog the chance of making friends with heroes of the original dimensions that aren’t hostile through the Blur Gang.
    • Due to Scorched classing as an "EXE", Hog's encounter with him classes as a "canon event".
  • Screen Name: "hog" when he first started out, then later “HogSweep”.
  • Trauma Button: Hearing CR!Sonic’s name for the first time sparked the traumatic memories back into Hog, considering it had barely been a day since he lost everything to Scorched. As he learned more about other Sonics, though, this gradually subsided.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: Considering what happened in his story of origin, Hog is permanently stuck outside the universe he once inhabited, which died with his friends, his arch-nemesis and Scorched.

    Wacky the Erizo

Wacky the Erizo (Dimension MY-2023)

Origin: Myths of Yamaha by danicorelove

Another bootleg Sonic made by Junio Collymore and her pure love for the Sonic franchise, who evolved on her own after the project was unfinished.

  • Beware the Silly Ones: Sonath learns this the very hard way when he angers Wacky by boasting about his twisted plans for her world.
  • Demonic Possession: Wacky once became victim of this at the hands of Bizarro, though whilst her eyes remained shut, Bizarro was unable to take control of her body.
  • Noticing the Fourth Wall: Wacky was consistently aware of our world beyond her game, in part thanks to a giant TV screen in her world's sky. Whilst she did try interacting with those who opened the gate to her world, it only served to scare them away unintentionally.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: During More than One Universe, whilst Wacky maintains her goofy personality and her refusal to take most things seriously, she is genuinely horrified by the prospect of Sonath planning to ensure History Repeats by using her world as a proxy to continue his reign of terror. This pisses her off enough to not only strangle Sonath briefly, but also give him a VERY painful Neck Snap that leaves him badly crippled.
    "Shut... the... fucking hell... UP!!!"
  • Sad Clown: Wacky, in IAB!, is stated to have traits of this and, in a Decomposite Character sense, inherits some of Spider-Ham's more sympathetic traits, including consoling OMT!Tails for losing those close to him.
"Tails, I... The... The hardest thing about being a hero is... you can't always save everybody."
  • Tomboyish Ponytail: In Into, Across and Beyond!, Wacky sports one in her sprite design, not only to signify her further willingness to do right, but to also keep her long hair from getting too dirty out on the battlefield.

Devy the Rabbit and Smol Devy

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_213d8fa08154b4fbe9d6eb199aeff3df_1bbf923c_250.jpg

A male rabbit around the age of Brian and Antho, and his little counterpart from another dimension.

  • Author Avatar: Devy serves as one of four for his creator, the others being one based on Sonic, a white person with a sceptical face, and a Roblox avatar with a crashed page face.
  • Badass Normal: Even without the major powers other Blur Gang members have, these two still have their own abilities to keep up with the crew, partially thanks to Smol Devy being gifted with levitation at youth.
  • Elmuh Fudd Syndwome: As part of his infancy, Smol Devy's quote on the character post gives off this impression, which helps further accent his cuteness.
  • Expressive Mask: Devy sports one that can easily change expressions at will like his face, as if it was his face in the first place.
  • The Heart: OMT!Tails is ultimately comfortable in confiding in Devy to vent out his struggles, and Devy in turn is shown to be happy to comfort him and give him treats to help lighten his mood. Smol Devy also counts, serving as a ray of sunshine for those around him.
  • Shrinking Violet: Smol Devy is mentioned to be particularly shy around strangers.

    Trip (Unmarked Superstars spoilers)

Trip the Sungazer Lizard (Dimension MULTI-2023)

Origin: Sonic Superstars

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/trip_1.png

A young lizard who lived in the North Star Islands and initially worked for her Eggman, eventually defecting to the side of Team Sonic.

  • Ambiguously Bi: She’s stated to have a crush on her Amy, alongside her Tails and Mighty, though she’s yet to find a spot for her heart to reside.
  • It's Personal with the Dragon: It’s confirmed that Trip was in the middle of her final encounter with Fang before she was pulled into the action in Into the Sonic-verse.
  • Shrinking Violet: Like her game of origin, she can be quite shy around strangers, sometimes putting her helmet on her head to hide her face. She’s comfortable around friends she’s made, though, like her Team Sonic and the Blur Gang.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: Double subverted. Thanks to the multiversal travel she joins the team in, she is able to return back to the world she inhabited, where she’s welcomed back with open arms from Team Sonic. The double subversion comes when Dr. Finitevus eradicates the entire Superstars universe, locking her, Team Sonic, the surviving critters and Superstars Robotnik out of the world for good.

Art and characters by RisziArts

CR!Sonic’s young children who are more than happy to follow in their father’s footsteps.

  • Age Lift: Like CU!Sonia, the brother and sister are both 6 years old come More than One Universe onwards, in turn making them older than Mayday.
  • Babies Make Everything Better: Despite CR!Sonic’s reluctance to have kids in One More Hero, it turns out that having Sonia and Manik was the best thing that ever happened for him, as he’s clearly in a much better mental state as of More than One Universe.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Sonia and Manik are two of the youngest members of the cast, and are both brought along on some adventures due to their speed making it impossible for their parents to find them a baby-sitter or give them daycare. That, or CR!Sonic wants them to get an early head-start for the future now that the age-halting had reached his universe.
  • Badass Adorable: What else would you expect from the daughter and son of CR!Sonic and CR!Sally? Safe to say, they had been taught well in their 6 years of life.
  • Like Father, Like Son: Just like their dad, Sonia and Manik both really like chilli dogs. Sonia also inherits her father's impulsiveness and drive to do the right thing, even if it gets her in trouble.

    April

April the Hedgehog (Dimension EV-2019; formerly SYX-2018)

Created by: Xanster (now owned by Pico)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_72911316b9d9a38589dc9a201e7565bb_b073d5f2_400.jpg

One of Nitro's younger companions, a young girl with mysterious innate powers and a rough past.

  • Dark and Troubled Past: Not much is elaborated on with it, but it is confirmed that she was used for her powers as a weapon, and she forgot what it felt like to smile until Nitro (Sytox pre-ownership transfer) showed up.
  • Expy: Though not a one-to-one expy, she inherits a lot of the stuff Milla Basset inherited, like having a big sibling figure to be around, being used by a villain against said figure, and later getting a cathartic victory from overpowering her original tormentor.
  • Love Triangle: Before she became owned by Pico, April was in one with Sytox, who was crushing on his Metal Sonic counterpart.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: Like Nitro before her, she retained her memories, alongside her Character Development, after the Errorverse got rewritten.
  • Shrinking Violet: She's stated to be nervous about meeting new people, considering her upbringing, though is comfortable around her True Companions.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: April is mentioned to really enjoy burgers as her go-to food of choice.
  • When She Smiles: She hasn't smiled a lot, but when she does, she makes it look really adorable. Her character post includes a picture of it being showcased.

    The Prower Kids

Melody and Skye Prower (Dimension ZONE-YL-2058)

Origin: Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) - 50 Years Later

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/prower_kids.png

The son and daughter of Tails and Mina from a universe set in a distant future, and stuck away from their homeworld.

  • Character Development: Thanks to his time spent with OMT!Tails, Skye is able to be less shy around others and become quite the optimistic kid.
  • Cool Big Sis: Though she does get frustrated at times about Skye's shy nature, Melody is more than willing to stand up for her little brother should anyone point out his flaws. It gets to the point where she helps OMT!Tails give LM!Sonic a good beating for trying to harm Skye.
  • Happily Adopted: At the end of Cosmic Discoveries, the two are taken under the wing of Blitz!Tails and Blitz!Milla, and are happy they still have the equivalent of parents after what happened.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: Thanks to the incident with 50YL!Tails's device, Melody and Skye were forced out of their dimension as it collapsed in on itself, and didn't believe it was truly gone until they discovered the Awful Truth for themselves.
