    Player

The player confronting Razor during the epilogue, who has nothing to do with them. note

Car: Java Nissan 350Z (pre-2.0), Java BMW M3 GTR (race version) (post-2.0), players choice

"FAK!"note

The main protagonist of the game.

They arrived in Cockport hoping to be involved in the local street racing scene with their Java'd BMW M3 GTR.

After some races, they challenged the notorious Blacklist #15, Razor to a pink slip race (actually Kuru in-game), only to lose the race and the car thanks to a trolling music that caused the vehicle to break down. Arrested by Sergeant Crock, who send them to a gulag, they were released a few days later due to lack of evidence since Kuru took the car away, after which they are aided by Eden, who helps the player rise through the Blacklist and get their payback on Kuru for selling their car.

  • Badass Driver: Despite all the mockery they received, they still plowed over all their opponents even when losing their Java car, and eventually became The Most Wanted (and subscribed) Pepega racer.
  • Blank Slate: New to the city, and tries to make a name for themselves, pepega-style.
  • Cool Car: Subverted! Sure, it's still a BMW M3 GTR which the car itself is arguably the coolest car in the original Need for Speed franchise, but here... this version of the M3 GTR is ported out straight from the Java version of the game, with low-poly, 8-bit graphics, pale livery and the color patterns reversed. Eden even lampshades it when you meet him the first time!
Eden: Ewww, dude. What is this car?! Did you get this one from a Java game?
    • Prior to the V2 update, the car was originally a blue low-poly Java Nissan 350Z from its mobile counterpart of Need for Speed: Underground. It's lampshaded to the point when Crock in his OnlyFans page describes it as a "Weird blue car with less than 10 polygons"
  • Leitmotif: MC MENTAL's "At His Best" play out loud whenever you're in the M3 GTR during cutscenes.
  • My Car Hates Me: Played for Laughs. The M3 GTR at the beginning starts sluggishly during a race with Razor. Then offscreen, it breaks down.
    Player: FAK!
  • Rank Up: The player must climb up the ranks of the blacklist to get revenge on Kuru, who is #1.
  • A Taste of Power: The player starts the game owning the Java car, before getting jebaited and therefore losing it to Kuru, being forced to start off with one of three starter cars.
  • Villain Protagonist: Even in this "Pepega-themed" world with a Fountain of Memes galore, street racing is still illegal, so the player qualifies as this.

    Eden

Car: Nissan 350Z (Z33, 2003)

"Well, well, well, look who's made it through the prologue... Congratulations!"

The player's most trustworthy and faithful companion.

Earlier, Eden challenges the player to a friendly race only to question the player's odd car of choice, but also to see how competitive and skilled they are. After realizing how talented the player was, he starts to support and root for them from now on. He now provides tutorials and a Blacklist update when the player is ready to challenge them.

  • Ascended Fanboy: Eden begins to fully support the player after racing him.
  • Exposition Fairy: Takes over both Mia and Rog as the player's guide, providing them gameplay tips, when they're ready to face the Blacklist once they accumulated enough race wins, pursuit milestones and subscribers. Also he likes to give them some trivia and hints about the whereabout regarding the Java car and how the game came to be.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: The friendly race helped secure both their trustworthiness and friendship.
  • Last-Second Word Swap: After his race with the player:
    Eden: Hey. Nice cock—uh... car.
  • Nice Guy: Although he questioned about your car at first, Eden by no doubt is one friendly and amiable dude who is polite and helpful. The end of his first voice call tells you to enjoy the mod and have fun!
  • Resurrect the Wreck: According to his text message he sent to you, following the Java car buyout from Rachel, he plans to restore it to its former glory, though it's gonna take much more time to do so. Though he might need some help from others. At the end, he'll send a message saying the Java car is ready for pickup.
  • The Voice: His face is never shown in the Pepega-modded game, but his voice is heard.

The "Blacklist"

    BlackPanthaa

Theo Thomas/BlackPanthaa

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_blackpanthaa.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 20,000
  • Races to Win: 3
  • Milestones to Complete: 3
  • Blacklist Prize: 60,000

Car: Vauxhall Corsa D/VXR

Strength: Absolutely nothing

"Hold up! You think... You could beat me?! Look at you, you're puny. Small. Small peepee, tiny brain. Mate, you got something coming for you. I swear, swear on me mum. I'm gonna get ya This is gonna be it! Game over. End-o, you're life-o."

#15 on the Blacklist.

BlackPanthaa enjoys spending YouTube money into his Corsa. His car doesn't matter since his driving skills are shit.

  • The Alleged Car: His modern black Vauxhall Corsa VXR is not what you really think it seems to be.
  • Brought Down to Normal: Eden stated that he used to drive a Lancer Evolution before it broke down, forcing him to rock a Corsa. And it gets worse since he can't really drive that well.
  • Brought to You by the Letter "S": Sorta. The logo of Nobeds (which is a white "N" logo inside a square) is slapped on the car's trunk.
  • Butt-Monkey: Oh, poor Theo! He thinks he's some dude who is cool and tough, but he isn't. Even his intro fails big time as he Drives Like Crazy, only to be obviously spotted by a nearby cop and immediately get arrested.
  • I Shall Taunt You: His blacklist intro depicts him ridiculing at you. His quote as stated above is what he actually says.
  • Leitmotif: His theme is "Tilted" by Lupe Fiasco, played during his intro.
  • Master of None: Played for Laughs. Theo just plain sucks at driving, even his bio states that he's good at "absolutely nothing". And it does show when you battle him, as his pacing is positively pedestrian!
  • Rice Burner: His Vauxhall Corsa has a big... wang.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: What Theo thinks highly of himself... some dude who thinks he's better than he really is, despite the fact he's dead last in the Blacklist and is totally crap in everything.
  • Suspicious Spending: As a blacklist member, he spent his YouTube funds for his car after his Evo got totaled.
  • Warm-Up Boss: Although the car looks tuned up, even performance wise, BlackPanthaa drives pathetically slow and similar to Sonny (who is also #15), he's raced on two simple tracks.
    Neville

Chris Gauthier/Neville

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_neville.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 50,000
  • Races to Win: 3
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: 72,000

Car: Renault Clio V6

Strength: Being the monkey

"I've got soda and water..."

#14 on the Blacklist.

Hailing from Palmont City, Neville is some dude with some potential, however his weight is affecting with the performance of his car. Neville is known to being a Blocker, and being close to him is never to be underestimated with.

  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: In the original game, Neville races alongside you since he's your crewmate. Here in the Pepega Edition, Neville is now your rival, where you race against him.
  • Adaptational Wimp: Here in this Pepega version, his fat weight now affects his driving skills.
  • Butt-Monkey: Even more than his original Carbon counterpart! And it's highly lampshaded as his Extremity Extremist! But also it would play this trope straight, like his tendency of him being bossed around like someone's butler, his weight being affected behind the wheel or hell, you boot off his sorry fat-ass back to Palmont.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: During a cutscene where Mia is suppose to introduce you to your safehouse, one scene briefly shows Neville offering drinks to Sal. That is before Neville himself shows up as the #14 on the Blacklist.
  • Leitmotif: His theme is the memetic "Gentle Breeze" from Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2, then it transitions to his Carbon intro playing normally afterwards, with his theme "Steamworks" by The Presets, which remained intact.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Played for Laughs, as Neville is given a full name, which is actually the name of his portrayer, Chris Gauthier.
  • Photo Montage: The first half of his blacklist intro shows nothing but random photos of Neville, Squidward Fad-style. Even going to such absurdity of showing real life photos of Chris Gauthier, his portrayer.
  • Pimped-Out Car: His Tier 2 tuner, the Renault Clio V6 (with body and vinyl customization) remains intact from Carbon.
  • Stout Strength: Averted this time. Sure Neville is fat, but his heavy weight now affects his performance in his races.

    Sonic

Sonic the Hedgehog/Sonic

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_sonic.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 100,000
  • Races to Win: 3
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: 72,000

Car: Speed Star

Strength: Running

"Whaddup, Sonic Squad? Today, we're gonna do some Sonic Racing. Ready? Lemme show ya how it's done."

#13 on the Blacklist.

This is the legendary blue hedgehog named Sonic. On foot, he'd probably destroy anyone one on the blacklist. Here, he likes his experience to be more challenging and more on fairplay as he dons his signature Speed Star instead.

Defeating Sonic will allow the player to unlock Camden Beach.

  • Badass Pacifist: Sonic brings in his Speed Star so that he can fairly battle alongside his fellow Blacklist members. You will soon make him regret it.
  • Cool Car: His car he originally used in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is none other than his personal sports car for racing competition; his own Speed Star. It's so special, that it makes it harder on himself.
  • Leitmotif: His theme is "Kickstart my Heart" by Mötley Crüe, a perfect song about speed and adrenaline, befitting for a speedy blue hedgehog like Sonic.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: His Super Speed is smaller than a typical average car but it packs a punch and zooms in very fast.
  • Super-Speed: Well, duh! Why else is his name Sonic?! But just like his original counterpart, Sonic's high-speed running is considered to be his Extremity Extremist. And his Speed Star would certainly qualify, too.
  • Token Non-Human: Well, in the Most Wanted Pepega list, Sonic is the only one of the 15 members who isn't human. Unless you also count Shinyodd in 2.0.

    May

James May/May

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_james_may.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 180,000
  • Races to Win: 4
  • Milestones to Complete: 3
  • Blacklist Prize: 96,000

Car: Alpine A110

Strength: Being slow

"Good news, because the Dacia Sandero is also in the UK, taking the nation by storm!"

#12 on the Blacklist.

One of the three ex-hosts of Top Gear (UK) was widely known to many as "Captain Slow". After being dropped out from Amazon following The Grand Tour, May decides to enter Cockport where he builds himself some reputation in the city. Despite his reaction time being slow because of his age, his years of experience compensates for it.

    Jimmer

Jimmy Broadbent/Jimmer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_jimmy_broadbent.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 300,000
  • Races to Win: 5
  • Milestones to Complete: 3
  • Blacklist Prize: 120,000

Car: Mazda MX-5 (NA)

Strength: Sim racing

"Hi guys, it's Jimmy here. And welcome back to me making jokes about penises."

#11 on the Blacklist.

Jimmy Broadbent isn't actually a real life motorsports racer. Instead of driving for real, this dude does Let's Play on weird simulation racing games inside a tiny shed. Following the death of his YouTube channel, he decided to climb up the ladder of the Blacklist. His sim racing experience surprisingly pays off as he rises quickly in the ranks.

  • Leitmotif: His theme is the Amphobius version of "Deja Vu" by Dave Rodgers, which is usually his opening intro during the start of his livestreams.
  • Rice Burner: His Miata comes with a giant wing that's taller than the roof itself.

    CLARKSOOOON!

Jeremy Clarkson/CLARKSOOOON!

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_jeremy_clarkson.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 500,000
  • Races to Win: 5
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: 144,000

Car: Reliant Robin

Strength: Commentating

"HAMMOND YOU IDIOT, YOU REVERSED INTO THE SPORTS LORRY!!!"

#10 on the Blacklist.

One of the three ex-hosts of Top Gear (UK) who got dropped out by Amazon decides to earn respect elsewhere. He may be an old guy, but Jeeza himself is never to be trifled with. Legends say that Jeremy has once crossed the English Channel in a Toyota Hilux.

  • The Alleged Car: The three-wheeler is rather an infamously odd choice for good ol' Jeeza to drive.
  • Epic Fail: His blacklist intro is essentially Clarkson literally rolling a Robin on a live BBC news report. Though it's possibly removed due to avoiding copyright infringement with BBC alone.
  • Mythology Gag: Jeremy's choice of car here in the game may be from his crazy experiences during his Top Gear heyday, where he rolls over his Reliant Robin, typically as his Running Gag or when he uses his car... to hit a lamppost.
  • Weak, but Skilled: His maybe driving a crappy three-wheeler, but his skills behind is something you don't underestimate with. In fact, his Reliant has max stats in handling. No wonder Jezza is rolling his car so hard.

    Dom/LPN05

Dominic Toretto/Dom

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_dom.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 790,000
  • Races to Win: 5
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: ???

Car: Dodge Charger R/T (1970)

Strength: Protecting his family

"..."'

#9 on the Blacklist, prior to the 2.0 update.

Dom is a man who deeply cares about family. He was a dangerous street racer and heist leader at first and has since evolves into a world-class secret agent working for Mr. Nobody. Whenever he can, he can actually bend the laws of physics to his will. Legends say that he once rode a rocket on an endless airport runway.

Defeating Dom will allow the player to unlock Cockport.

Lukas Bracht/LPN05

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_lpn05.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 790,000
  • Races to Win: 5
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: 192,000

Car: Audi S3 (8P)

Strength: Stumbling upon his own words

"Maybe some of you know that I had a S3 8P, and I was rebuilding the car as I wanted to race the car but as you know I don't have the car anymore the car has been impounded."Disclaimer

#9 on the Blacklist, after the 2.0 update.

Lucas fled from his home country in Germany for tampering with illegal parts, so he decided to travel all the way to Cockport to test out his rides. Rumors say he drives as fast as he speaks, and ensures one's ride is up to its top condition if one doesn't want to end up getting smoked by him.

Defeating LPN05 will allow the player to unlock Cockport.

  • Gratuitous German: Since LPN05 is a native German, expect that he speaks nothing but German.
  • Leitmotif: His theme is "Without Me" by Eminem, briefly after he got his car back, complete with subtitles saying "GUESS WHO'S BACK".
  • Run for the Border: He escapes prosecution for tampering illegal parts by fleeing Germany and Going Native inside Cockport, where he finds street racing paradise.
  • What a Piece of Junk: Subverted, as his Audi S3 is cool enough has some good tech, like an air suspension in his blacklist intro. In-game, his car now has a nice vinyl pattern with his ZER05 logo imprinted on his doors.

    Hammond

Richard Hammond/Hammond

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_richard_hammond.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 1,180,000
  • Races to Win: 5
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: 240,000

Car: Rimac Concept One

Strength: Crashing Hypercars

"OLIVER!!!"

#8 on the Blacklist.

Here is Richard Hammond, the most handsome of the Top Gear (UK) trio. While his driving skills are phenomenally par with this two mates Jeremy and James, he is highly notorious for his car accidents, from his first car, the Toyota Corolla, to even an insanely-fast top-fuel dragster. But nonetheless, he still comes back though, much to Jeremy and James's annoyance.

  • Butt-Monkey: Nothing goes well for the Hamster; ranging from trying to get his "Oliver" Opel Kadett to float back to the surface but failing, to him crashing his Rimac. And the burnt marks of his Rimac remained intact when he shows up to race!
  • Captain Crash: His strength is absolutely about putting hypercars worth millions of dollars to waste. By deliberately crashing it.
  • Epic Fail: He brings out slick Rimac as he does his trial run through the narrow roads of Croatia. Then cue the infamous Rimac crash.
    Hammond: Crap!
  • Improbably Cool Car: Hammond's Rimac is possibly something 1 in every billion on the planet could every get in Real Life.
  • Leitmotif: His theme is "Decadence" by Disturbed, the same Leitmotif as Vic's from the original game.
  • Made of Iron:
    • In-universe, where he gets into high-speed car crashes and accidents that would likely kill someone in Real Life... but not for Hammond! He comes back up fro some reason...
    • His Rimac eventually survived too.
  • Mythology Gag: The choice of car for Richard, the Rimac Concept One refers to the one he drove in "Past, present or future" the very first episode of Season 2 of The Grand Tour... and infamously crashing it, which nearly took his life.

    Takai/SlapTrain

TakaiDesu/Takai

Target:

  • Blacklist Prize: ???

Car: Mercedes-Benz CLK 500

Strength: Streaming

"Hey, you! You gonna fight me right now? You need to win me but you're never going to."

#7 on the Blacklist, prior to the 2.0 update.

None should mess with Takai's adorable looks, as she is a lady with a bittersweet personality who is not afraid to go crazy and drive recklessly. And it shows.

Peter Jeakins/SlapTrain

Target:
  • Subscribers: 1,800,000
  • Races to Win: 7

  • Blacklist Prize: 288,000

Car: Infiniti G35

Strength: Powersliding

"What's going on? Hey, welcome back today, guys to the channel. I'm here on the test track, been a long time. Thank you guys so much for watching, and don't forget to SLAP that like button."

#7 on the Blacklist, after the 2.0 update.

Slap is a popular drifting specialist around. His "sim racing" setup is probably worth beyond just an entire house, where he wants to show off his skills more around the streets of Cockport, which shouldn't be left a slip to beat him.

    Riolu

Burim/Riolu

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_riolu.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 2,300,000
  • Races to Win: 7
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: 336,000

Car: TrackMania car (2020)

Strength: Photo tickets

(epic cinematic intro)

#6 on the Blacklist.

A noteworthy speedrunner and eSports gamer from Germany who is capable of matching Kuru's levels with his skills. After he conquered TrackMania Turbo with world records on every single track, he decided to play Need for Speed: Most Wanted for more replay value.

  • The Ace: He is a "very dangerous" competitor in the making as what his blacklist intro says: He's a Multiple WR Holder, a TM genius... and an individual gifted with a Sexy Voice.
  • Action-Hogging Opening: How his blacklist intro is done... with a cheesy cinematic intro, with an epic music, lots of screaming titles.
  • Cool Car: The Trackmania car itself is cool enough, with his name and flag imposed on.
  • Mythology Gag: Putting Riolu on the Blacklist and his bio stating about speedrunning for world records would ironically refer to the infamous TrackMania cheating scandal, where people think that he was cheating his records.
  • Speedrun: What Riolu specializes when it comes to TrackMania world records.

    Aniki/Shinyodd

Billy/Aniki

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_aniki.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 3,050,000
  • Races to Win: 7
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: ???

Car: Chevrolet Corvette (C6)

Strength: Ramming

"My fellow brothers. I, Billy Herrington stand here today. Humbled by the mad sacrifice before us. Where free man are no less needed. Now we will begin for love."

#5 on the Blacklist, prior to the 2.0 update.

Be prepared for the dungeon master, Billy "Aniki" Herrington. He can pound anyone into the pavement of whoop someone's ass if no one is careful in taking him on. A fast car and lots of cash is a must to challenge him.

  • Macho Camp: Aniki is a muscular man who is widely known for being a porn star. In-Universe, he trained in the gym harder than before that he can pulverize and obliterate you too hell and back.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Not his car, but his Corvette, painted in pink, with himself printed on the bonnet and lots of "COCK" texts around.

Matthew Irwin/Shinyodd

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_shinyodd.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 3,050,000
  • Races to Win: 7
  • Milestones to Complete: 4
  • Blacklist Prize: 576,000

Car: Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo RS (R30)

Strength: Getting banned from E-rated games

"It was stated that Shinyodd was banned due to a new logo being added to our prohibited list, this was not the case. Shinyodd was banned for applying a pornographic livery."

#5 on the Blacklist, after the 2.0 update.

Notorious for Getting Crap Past the Radar, Shinyodd is a troublemaker known for making game devs cum a lot and should be happy that Need for Speed: Most Wanted isn't an E-rated game. This rogue racer is looking for trouble and a challenge against him is something he's looking for.

  • Fighting Irish: Downplayed. Technically, Northern Irish, but this time he's taking his ridiculous ride to show you of on the streets.
  • Persona Non Grata: It's revealed that Shinyodd was banned from Forza Horizon 4 for applying a pornographical livery on his Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31).
Shinyodd: I got banned from porn... apparently.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Not his car, but his R30 Skyline, painted in pink.
  • What a Piece of Junk: His old R30 Skyline looks near-bone stock by how it looks, but still... it's a car that can hold its own, especially having near-maxed stats on acceleration and handling.

    Takumi

Takumi Fujiwara/Takumi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_takumi.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 4,050,000
  • Races to Win: 7
  • Milestones to Complete: 5
  • Blacklist Prize: 636,000

Car: Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) note

Strength: Kansei Dorifto's

"..."

#4 on the Blacklist.

Takumi Fujiwara is a student from Mt. Akina and a delivery boy for tofu. When he decides to move to Cockport for work, he was absorbed into the city's street racing scene and has been winning races ever since.

  • Artistic License – Cars:
    • Takumi's car stated to be a Sprinter Trueno, but it instead uses the Corolla GT-S reused from Carbon.
    • The Fujiwara Tofu Shop sticker is way larger than its original counterpart, but who cares!
  • Badass Normal: Just like the manga, he is just your Ordinary High-School Student driving an old Trueno, he is not your typical driver. Unless he's got something around Cockport.
  • Going Native: Left Japan to find new work in Cockport.
  • Leitmotif: His theme is "Silhouette" by KANA-BOON, which is essentially the 16th opening theme song for Naruto Shippuden. Though it's possibly removed due to avoiding copyright infringement with Avex.
  • Weak, but Skilled: A Trueno looks purely outdated, but his skills pretty much dominates and outclass anyone. Eden even said Takumi has years of experience running down mountains in his ol' 86.
  • What a Piece of Junk: Like the original manga, his 86 is something you shouldn't be fooled with by the looks as it fitted with performance parts like a Nitro Boost and turbochargers that can trump any race.

    Ryan Cooper

My man/Ryan Cooper

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_ryan_cooper.jpg
Target:
  • Subscribers: 5,550,000
  • Races to Win: 8
  • Milestones to Complete: 5
  • Blacklist Prize: 720,000

Car: Nissan 240SX (S13)

Strength: Totalling in Nevada

"..."

#3 on the Blacklist.

Ryan Cooper is a professional driver who showed everyone how he became the Showdown King back in his heyday in 2007. Now, Ryan is seeking for a new competition. Legends say that he was once an illegal street racer and he isn't afraid to ding his car to victory.

  • Captain Crash: He doesn't mind totaling his car if it's by any means necessary to win. And hell, his forte being totaling his car at the Nevada desert is what emphasized this trope.
  • From Camouflage to Criminal: Following his success in sanctioned races, Ryan goes back to his former self and partakes into the illegal street racing scene.
  • The Faceless: Like in the game he is from, he's always wearing his Cool Helmet, a la The Stig.
  • Living Legend: He's already a legend by the time of the events of Pepega's Most Wanted.
  • The Speechless: As usual, Ryan doesn't say even a single word. One example has Ryan sending you a voice message, which is nothing but Dramatic Ellipsis (complete with the message just saying "..."), even sending another one before he challenges you.
  • What a Piece of Junk: His 240SX is something you don't want to mock with. Despite the mismatched wheels and body panels painted in different colors, the car is surprisingly competitive with nearly max stats in the acceleration and handling department. It's top speed it pretty much not its strongest due to having a stock level engine and level 1 turbo...

    Sharl Lechair

Charles Leclerc/Sharl Lechair

Target:
  • Subscribers: 7,550,000
  • Races to Win: 8
  • Milestones to Complete: 5
  • Blacklist Prize: 900,000

Car: Ferrari SF90

Strength: Spinning out

"Who is Kuru?!"'

#2 on the Blacklist.

After being relieved of his driving duties for Scuderia Ferrari due to his underperformance from the #notthegp series in Azerbaijan, he seeks for redemption in Cockport, bringing his Formula One car with him.

  • Always Second Best: Leclerc is this in terms that 1) He's Number Two, literally and 2) Despite being extremely skilled, he always behind Kuru in the ranks, both in the blacklist and the #notthegp.
Leclerc: Mate, even Kuru is beating me!
  • Butt-Monkey: Leclerc can't catch a break, as after being fired by Ferrari, his blacklist intro adds more insult to injury (or rather injury to insult) where he has him getting harassed and rammed by Kuru during the #notthegp race, to the point Leclerc is shouting Kuru's name numerous times.
  • Improbably Cool Car: Taking a Formula One car on the public roads of Cockport?! Why not?
  • Leitmotif: His theme is the Eurobeat remix of "A Cruel Angel's Thesis", originally by Yoko Takahashi. It's basically the iconic opening song of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • His specialty in spinning out refers to the S🅱️innala meme where Scuderia Ferrari had a frequency of spinning out in the worst circumstances possible. This was originally associated mostly with Sebastian Vettel who was Leclerc's teammate at that time he joined the team in 2019.
    • His blacklist intro which shows his F1 2019 Azerbaijan Twitch stream being Always Second Best behind Kuru and him constantly failing may refer to his disastrous experience at the 2019 Azerbaijan Grand Prix where he crashed out during Q2 at the right-side barrier at the notorious "Castle Section".
  • Spectacular Spinning: His specialty because... ahem. S🅱️innala.
  • Strong, but Unskilled: His Ferrari is capable enough to be number one, but falls short after a costly collision, and combined with his poor performance back when he was a Scuderia driver.

    Kuru

Florian/Kuru

Target:
  • Subscribers: 10,000,000
  • Races to Win: 9

  • Blacklist Prize: N/A

Car: Mr. Bean's Mini Cooper (at the start of the game), Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk5) (as a Blacklist member)

Strength: Speedrunning

"Y'think you can beat the fastest driver on the Blacklist? I'd love to see you try."'

The main antagonist and the #1 on the Blacklist, once the main story gets underway.

Kuru is no doubt the defeated King of Most Wanted. He'd do anything he can to push himself to the edge of being and maintaining the number one spot, including selling and scamming someone on mobile games. He can never be trusted on anything he says. After beating both Ryan Cooper and Charles Leclerc, also a friendly race with Eden, Kuru confronts the player and challenges them in a pink slip race.

Unbeknownst to the player, Kuru was the mastermind behind bamboozling the player’s Java car, which breaks down halfway through the race. Kuru automatically wins the race and their car, which he uses to sell it off to some chick in Bayview for cash and build his own monster car. All while skyrocket through the top of the Blacklist, whilst the player is arrested by Crock.

Upon the player reaching #2 on the Blacklist, they challenge Kuru once more to get their revenge for what happened with the Java car.

  • Big Bad: He is Most Wanted - Pepega Editions'. main antagonist.
  • Boring, but Practical: His car of choice is none other than the Mk5 Golf GTI due to despite being just your ordinary hot hatch, it's considered to be a popular Disc-One Nuke endgame car when maxed out in the original game. Alas, "the Golf is better".
  • Epic Fail: The Stinger of his blacklist intro has him drive into a water tower pursuit breaker, only for the tower to fall down to his car.
    Kuru: FAK!
  • Final Boss: He is the last member of the Blacklist you face in the "Cancer" mode.
  • Hot Paint Job Kuru's Mr. Bean-style Mini Cooper comes with an elaborate flame vinyl design.
  • Karma Houdini: Subverted, as Kuru doesn't receive any comeuppance for taking the player's Java car and selling it off to Rachel Teller. Fortunately, Eden and his friends manage to retrieve and restore it back to its former glory. But still, after all his evil deeds, he escapes scot-free.
  • Leitmotif: His theme is "Shapeshifter" by Styles of Beyond and Celldweller, the Leitmotif similarly used by Razor, who is also Number 1 on the Blacklist. And it fits him well since
  • Manipulative Bastard: According to a text message by Eden, It's revealed that Kuru sold your Java GTR (whom Eden managed to track) to Rachel Teller in Bayview, who was originally expecting her 350Z. Boy, Rachel is pissed and sure she fell victim of Kuru's mischievous scams. Luckily, Eden manages to buy it off Rachel and ship it back to Cockport.
  • Marathon Boss: Just like Razor in the original game, since his Rival Challenge includes all non-solo race types you've encountered through the game (Circuit, Sprint, Speedtrap and Drag), it features five different events in total, instead of two or three.
  • Mythology Gag: His car at the start of the game is the classic old Mini Cooper with an armchair atop the roof. This may refer to the famous "driving-on-the-roof" scene of "Do-It-Yourself, Mr. Bean".
  • Obviously Evil: To the point both Eden and the game tells you multiple times that "He can't be trusted".
  • Rice Burner: Dear god, even for his hot hatch that is a powerful endgame vehicle comes with a ridiculously big and high spoiler.
  • Suddenly Shouting: His final message to you upon challenging him, Danny Shaw-style.
Kuru: Let's get this over with, right now. I SAID RIGHT NOW!
  • Torment by Annoyance: Plays a much more downplayed manner than Razor in the original, he does send threatening voice calls to the player, but not too frequently.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: His fate remains unknown once you defeat him.

Cockport Police Department (Pepega)

    Sergeant Crock

Sergeant Crock

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_crock_0.jpg
EVERYONE!!!

Car: Chevrolet Corvette C6.R (2005) (during cutscenes), Chevrolet Corvette Federal Cruiser (in-game)

"Oh man! Did you pick the wrong street to run on? This... this is a nice cock!"

Sergeant Crock is the Police Sergeant and on of the most "skilled" driver in the Cockport Police Department.

Earlier in the prologue, Crock pulls the player over for bringing a non-street legal car in the city. About to have their car impounded, a radio advert for Kuru's Instant Gaming for cheap game keys prevented them from occuring, forcing Crock to spare the player at the mean time.

Later on, after losing the race and their car against Kuru, they're left merciless in the hands of Crock. He finally arrests the player, and sends them to the gulag but is forced to release them due to lack of evidence.

He makes one final appearance in the end where he calls every available unit in the city to chase down the player, who just acquired back their Java car. Unfortunate for the player to ultimately escape Cockport via Broken Bridge, Crock issues the player as the God-level bad boy on the National Most Pepega List.

  • Adaptational Name Change: His original name Cross was "pepefied" for the Pepega Edition... alas, he's now as Sergeant Crock.
  • Demoted to Extra: He only shows up during cutscenes, with disregard of voice messages, as opposed to the vanilla game.
  • Felony Misdemeanor: Guess what happens next after Crock arrests the player for street racing? He then sends the player straight to be a confined in a gulag!
  • Gag Penis: These lines:
    "This... this a nice cock!"
"We're gonna take your cock, tear it apart, and see if it's street legal."
  • Hero Antagonist: Because street racing is obviously illegal, and Crock is trying to put a stop to it.
  • Offscreen Teleportation: Whenever Mia leaves before the end of each cutscene, Crock shows up at the last second, about to say his iconic line in Carbon:
Crock: Sit down! How you've been?
  • Suddenly Shouting: To over exaggerated levels! As soon as he shouts "EVERYONE!!!", it's so goddamn loud that it can be heard all over the world (with Astronomic Zoom!). Even Kuru and Samson from miles are surprised by his loud shout!
  • You Will Be Spared: An special offer from Kuru temporarily forces Crock to release the player from having their car impounded. Guess he couldn't say no to a special offer.

    Crock's partner
"I'd like to take a little pee—"
The unnamed police officer who works alongside Sergeant Crock.

Other characters

    Mia Townsend
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_mia.jpg

Car: Mazda RX-8 (SE3P, 2004)

"Bolt-on or not, that ride is FUCKED!"

The player's "faithful companion". Except not.

She "helps" the player on their quest to getting revenge on Kuru after their early release from gulag due to lack of evidence and provides them their first starter car, a safehouse, and pursuit gameplay tips.

  • Adaptational Jerkass: Downplayed, as a bit more mean-spirited in this version. She shows up in prison, only to just Troll the player, and just zooms off where she abandons the player. The End. Roll the credits!
    • Another example would be her ridiculing your ride calling your Java car as "FUCKED".
  • Adaptational Sexuality: Implied by Eden in his voice call, stating that Mia chick has an OnlyFans account.
  • Break the Cutie: Played for Laughs.Twice. with the player, such as the player closing the door infront of her when she's suppose to introduce to you to the safehouse, or when Mia calls you to take the Broken Bridge at the end of the game, only to hang up the call immediately.
  • Demoted to Extra: Mia here is dumbed down to just FMV cutscenes only, usually trolling the player. She doesn't even send voice messages to the player, which is justified that Eden is the one who handles all of them.
  • Dummied Out: Mia used to be one of the Blacklist members back in previous versions of the pre-release, albeit using her currently aged actor instead of the original render.
  • A Friend in Need: Contacts Eden to help the player get back on their feet following their release.
  • Leitmotif: "Oh Yeah" by Yello plays when she's introduced, just for fanservice purposes.
  • The Reveal: Not just the Undercover Cop Reveal at the near-end, but turns out Mia is part of Kuru's Need for Speed Marathon 2020, as implied by the logo imprinted on her top.

    Razor

Clarence Callahan/Razor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nfsmwpepega_razor.jpg

Car: Ford Mustang GT (Gen. 5, 2005)

"My 60-footer cock smokes anything here. Including this pump ass kit car."

Razor is a ruthless and relentless racer who prowls around Cockport City.

Originally, Razor is just a regular racer who just often shows up during cutscenes and despite having his slick Ford Mustang, he is not seen outside of cutscenes.

  • Cool Car: Razor's iconic black 5th gen. Ford Mustang fitted with his unique flames decal and his initials logo stamped on it still remains intact.
  • Demonic Head Shake: Played for Laughs here, as Razor in the background humorously shakes his head whilst blurting out gibberish. All while Mia is talking to you.
  • Demoted to Extra: Razor is only seen during cutscenes. After all, he ain't Blacklist material this time.
  • The Unfought: This time, he just shows off during cutscenes just to challenge you to a race or just to see him ridicule you. But actually in-game it's Kuru who is doing all the racing and not him.
