Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

Rules

Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:

When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
  - You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
  - For new and reworked deities, 3 means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
  - For new and reworked deities, 4 is a 3 day waiting period.
  - 5 is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
  - Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
  - For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 is a 3 day waiting period.
  - 4 is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
- Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
  - On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

Instructions and Tips

Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

Preparing to write:
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
  - In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
  - As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
  - A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
  - Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
  - On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
  - A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
  - Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
  - A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
  - Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

Divine Ranking System

Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

Templates

Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
And some more trivia/facts.
And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.

I would say it was similar to Infinity War, but I don't want to glorify Thanos' actions like everyone else has. That's why I described his victory in the pantheon as "even more horrifyingly". Plus, at least I know that Kirby can just save everyone. If he can beat villains who are more frightful than any Fallout monster, he can undo Galeem's perfect world.

Also, Muun, I did a few upgrades to the Kira Kira Cures profile.

Ascended some time after the incident known as the P-1 Climax. Considering his original plan to leave himself as the sole inhabit of his world to be rid of everyone that annoyed him, many share animosity with Sho and keep their distance.
The only known way for him to be able to form bonds is through battle. Some have said he's not as hostile to those he's made these bonds and there is some degree of respect formed.
There was a second personality within Sho, which calling himself Minazuki. He was the more calculating and likely more dangerous of the two personalities, given that he had a Persona. However, Sho hasn't been able to call him up since inheriting Minazuki's Persona as his own.
- When his bond with Minazuki is brought up, expect a katana to be brought up to someone's neck and Sho laughing at them that he's happy to be alone beside himself.
Dislikes the idea of allying with some of the gods who claim to share his interests. Sho is smart enough to realize that most will decide to dispose of him once he isn't needed, just like Hi-No-Kagutsuchi. Only Lucifer's offer has held any weight for him. He's long since abandoned his old ways that would've garnered the favor of the GUAD.
- Likewise hates Nyarlathotep since he's a troll, manipulator and the face that Nyarlathotep is the embodiment of the worst of everyone he hates.
Bringing up that he's Not So Different from Labrys doesn't do well for his mood.
Likes mocking Hajime Hinata for where his desire to be special got him. Perhaps enjoys mocking Hajime a bit more than others because of how similar he sounds to Yu.
Was in possession of borrowed power which allowed him to mind-control others. It's since been lost, however.
- Some have said that it hasn't made a difference given his joy of toying with his enemies rather than simply killing them. Sho has laughed this off.
Accusing him of not having the gall to kill will leave the accuser with a survival knife thrown at their feet. While it's meant to send one message, those who don't get or believe it are happily challenged to a fight to the death.
Not helped by the Morality Civil War, Sho's entrance into the Pantheon was met with much division. Of the opinions, the most notable are that some call him a Karma Houdini stating that his actions nearly caused his world to be destroyed and his unfortunate life is no excuse, while others state he hasn't crossed the line of taking a life and can be redeemed.
Unamused with his ascension in particular was Adachi, not wanting to put up with the schemes of a kid throwing a tantrum that might drag him into it. Sho isn't happy the reunion either and has threatened to kill Adachi if he screws with what he wants.
- This in turn got him involved against Ryotaro Dojima when he attacked the ex-cop in his presence. As he got double-teamed by the two, it confused Sho as he's sure he would've remembered Yu's uncle being a Persona-user.
- Upon hearing that the TV World is not only in the Pantheon, but other Persona-users have since been awakened because of it (and that Yu's little cousin is also a Persona-user), he's been hoping to challenge them. However, he's disappointed when he heard that only those who came from the Persona worlds can summon them in the Pantheon proper. That said, since some of those "clients" are already fighters in their own right, he's looking to test them before seeing if he can lure them (at a later date, but not all at once) to someplace where they can summon their Personas so he can see what they're capable of.
Sho has been voted into a competition to make the worst pun. He was eager to beat Chuggaaconroy and Ted Wiesenm but became disgruntled that his competitors also included Teddie.
Hates Ghetsis for reminding him of his own piece of crap father. Likely because of empathy and a desire to fight whatever N can throw at Sho, N might be one of the few people that Sho gets along with.
While Sho hates his own dad, he admits that he also wanted revenge for him as he was all that he had.
Sho's meeting with Sho Minamimoto quickly ended with them on hostile terms. Sho Minazuki has said that "I'll Sho-w him that his number is comin' up!"
Sho isn't sure what to think of Goro Akechi. Like him, he's had a real bastard of a father. Unlike him, Akechi didn't have the privilege of having a lot of money left behind to his name like Sho did, and Shuji was long dead by the time Sho awoke from his coma while Akechi had the chance to take his vengeance on Shido. That said, the fact that the second coming of the Detective Prince (Sho think Naoto's the better one) worked with Shido with plans to pull the rug beneath him in the last moment reminds him too much of the fact that Adachi planned to do the same to him.

Violetta knew this can mean having a residence away from Agatha. Still, the perks (a right to establishing her own relations with the Pantheon's deities, among other things) seemed worth it and so she applied. Nobody even knew she was there until the signed form was seen. Impressed with her skills, the Court of the Gods granted her a position in the Pantheon, though she doesn't quite get why Offscreen Reality Warp was why she got chosen.
- The reason why is because of a minimum of three cases; 1) is when she swapped out a hostage for a dummy without the hostage-holder noticing until after the deed was done. 2) is when she swapped a foe's stolen blade with a flower mid-swing. And 3) is when someone could sense but not see her and outed her.
She's geared with a headband-mounted red electric light she calls her Hunting Light (an infrared light that enables some measure of night vision), a grapnel gun, several hidden knives and smoke grenades, as well as who knows how many other tools in her pocketed corset such as the aforementioned hidden items, poisons, potions, and gas bombs.
She's made rivals out of every other ninja and thief in the Pantheon due to her skills as a Smoke Knight. On top of this list surprisingly is the Marked Ninja after he noted that her skills eclipsed even his, even with the Mark of Serenity. The ability for one or one's actions to escape notice even when in plain sight is not someone to be underestimated.
- As someone who's done some impossible thefts herself, Carmen Sandiego respects her skill.
- When it comes to the thieves, she's proven an effective counter whenever they cross paths against whoever she's with (if she's against the theft at all, that is). It can get frustrating when someone knows for certain that got something only to pull up a dud Violetta swapped once they assume they're in a safe distance.
Despite being very much a tomboy given her career, the promise of a pretty dress to fight for is a sufficient motivator (though only Agatha and her allies can utilize this).

Something I realized recently: Piranha Plant is continuing the Smash Bros. series' tradition of introducing joke characters. The original game had Jigglypuff, Melee gave us Pichu, Sm4sh introduced the Wii Fit Trainer(s), and now Ultimate has the Piranha Plant. The only game in the series that doesn't introduce a joke character (unless I'm mistaken) is Brawl.

Anyway, I'm gonna be posting a template for my hypothetical Pantheon fighting game's button commands soon.

Anyway, here is an early draft of the Sleeper. I’m not done with it as I have to add relations of it with Oryx, the Vex, the House of Nature, Sephiroth and possibly even more. Who here are victims of comets, meteors, etc?

The Ancestor: "Blight had struck the harvest again that year, and the Miller was desperate. He came to me, hat clutched tightly in filthy fingers, stinking of sweat and manure. Seated comfortably in my observatory, surrounded by telescopes and other delicate apparatus, I recognized his misfortune as an opportunity, and I agreed to lend him my... expertise."
- "Slabs etched with certain celestial designs were erected around the perimeter of the Farmstead. The Miller, lamentably eager for some early sign of improvement, fixed his watery eyes intently upon the wilted fields and listless mill. My gaze, however, was cast skyward and I marveled at the limitless profanity of the stars, wondering what harvest might come.."
  - "The poor Miller - Thrice a victim. The seasons took his livelihood. I took his land. And, uncountable years later, the comet has taken his humanity. My only regret is that I did not live to see that shoddy mill smashed to pieces by the miraculous bounty I reaped from beyond the void."
It was a normal day in the Pantheon, humming birds, good-aligned deities meeting their friends (and evil ones too), and even the Guardians for every House having breaks. Suddently, as in a swift bright flash, something tore apart from the heavens, and slammed within the Pantheon grounds. Those who saw the trajectory of the crashing object found it within the temple of The Farmer, who grabbed as many belongings as he can. When the Pantheon’s cleanup arrived to fix the Farmer’s temple, odd growths starting appearing within the temple, from different rock structures, to seemingly obtuse crystalline formations. There were also sightings of a rather blue-ish cyan color appearing from the crash, indicating that something sinister has arrived.
- On that very same day, another impact was felt, this time on the House of Time and Space. When the crash was reported by Doc Brown, who saw a massive tear within space, the Pantheonic Time Police immediately observed Brown’s observations and wanted to see the confirmed crash. They noticed a large gaping tear in one of the empty spaces of space. Weirded out by the sight, they would later call the Observers of Time to identify what exactly happened, only to met with more fear that someone or something may have pierced it way from the very fabric of Time And Space.
- Later, as the cleanup crew were about to finish, strange events started appearing around the Pantheon, many deities have started noticing massive presences of cyan blue color around the Farmer’s temple. This would later spread to other unusual places, among those being the House of Time and Space where the effects have tripled to even massive phenomena. Determined to stop this unknown string of events, The Hunter participated, alongside a group formed by Guts, Doctor Strange and Mercy. They would enter the Farmer’s temple where the crystallization has reached its peak. To their horror, this thing also brought with it infected inhabitants of a Farmstead it managed to induce its corruption with, forcing them to fight their way through the center.
- As if things didn’t go bad enough, when they reached the center of the impact, they saw a shaped Fracture, spawning as many Crystalline Aberrations as it can. With combined teamwork from the four, they managed to bring it almost down, until said Fracture transformed into an unimaginable monstrous form, transporting it alongside the team into the House of Time and Space. There, the monster’s effects have increased and with its devastating powers against the party, it nearly wiped them out, until divine intervention by Future Trunks and Chronormu saved the entire party and drove the abomination into the far reaches of the entire House. Such experience left the party, and even the two guardians dazed at its presence, but nonetheless they escaped. Now, the thing wonders in a corner of the House, sealed away from the common Pantheonic grounds and with it its own dimension.
This unholy cosmic being is a magnificent reminder of the Ancestor’s relentless search of the unknown. As he countlessly searched for knowledge within his world, he also sought knowledge from the cosmos, seeing it as having infinite possibilities on what can be unleashed, formed, and brought into for studying. At the same time however, a Miller, desperate for a cure to his own harvest contacted him, asking should there anything be of use to aid in his losing Farmstead. The Ancestor, cunning and also desperate for.... something else, saw his Farmstead to be a perfect tool... a tool for trials unknown.
- There, he constructed slabs of sketches, in each side of the Farmstead’s perimeter, watching as he would use the Miller’s own land, and his own life for a harvest that he may claim in his unconquerable thirst for knowledge. He suceeded and a comet landed within the lands, turning whatever it encountered into something maddening to the human mind. Whatever became of the Farmstead and its inhabitants are no longer in his possession, but as for the Comet that landed in the vicinity? Well, this... thing is what spawned from it.
As soon as it landed within the Farmer’s reach, it soon became clear that the same old man was responsible for ascending it within the Pantheon grounds. Yet the Farmer’s temple had no celestial slabs around it, nor any signs of the Ancestor’s attempts of creating it into a celestial array. Nevertheless, upon its ascension, he spoke with great belief that his attempts at ascending it are now with great success.
The Ancestor: "Behold! The unquenchable fire of the stars!"
Ever since it ascended with majestic fury, the Pantheonic Time Police and alongside the Overseers of Time see this abomination as one of its greatest threats to ever reach within the House. This is because the reality warping capabilities of this monster allows it to warp different versions of itself and its controlled husks within different continuities into its reach. All the while, the corruption has seeped from the Farmstead also spreads into a slow descent of crystal and rock in the Pantheon. To make sure it doesn’t get out of hand, Future Trunk’s idea of separating the being away from the common lands of the Pantheon by sending it to the farthest corner of the House, alongside its “dominion”, were agreed upon its containment especially since it can seperate its influence towards the more vulnerable deities. However, that doesn’t stop the Sleeper from sending armies of husks within any temple’s doorstep, intending to spread its corruption into the furthest lands.
- Unfortunately, if the Ancestor’s words are true, then the Sleeper’s intention of fighting the Heart of Darkness in an attempt to control the world into a crystalline planet sounds "horrifying" enough since anyone within the crossfire, Humanity as a whole, would not survive against the war. When asked by Nozdormu about the fate of the Pantheon with its arrival, the Bronze Dragonflight responded that its eventual containment will break and that those without the strongest of willpower will succumb to its Miasma, all while preparing to duel against its Eldritch counterpart. Not even the Overseers expected a result of such brevity.
With its presence around the House, many deities are unnerved by corruptions, especially since these are linked to what the Sleeper does to any living thing it interacts with, not to mention its ability to contact other realities and spawn them in the current reality the Sleeper exists in, meaning it can theoretically have an "infinite" army in its disposal. The Dahaka, one of the biggest threats to anyone who disturbs the flow of time, even find this monstrosity to be a bigger threat, so much that they consider its existence to be “unexpected, even by beyond other continuities.”
- Among others, Dio Brando and Randall Ross attempted to use their manipulations of time to defeat it. It did not end well for the two with two surprising outcomes. Dio was forced to fight a copy of himself but with husk-like features, which the Sleeper summoned from another reality, while on Ross’ side, the Timenado’s effects wore it off as it summoned more of its husk zombies. Both forcefully retreated but not until the Sleeper backed away from Randall’s temple. It turns out his temple, which is the full might of the Timenado, can stop time indefintely which means a heavy loss should the Sleeper attempt to attack him in his home. This intrigued him, as he realize that if he releases the full strength of the Timenado, it can cripple the Sleeper’s ability to control other realities. The good-aligned deities are wondering if they can try to use it to its advantages.
So why does this thing have no evil-aligned deities on its side? Well this is because it wants to conquer the entire world and reshape it to a world barren with crystal and rock. And to accomplish that, it must destroy its very enemy, the Heart of Darkness. This made it a threat to even the evil-aligned, world-destroying deities as they now know that should it mature, it will fight all the other horrors and replace them with its own brand of horrors, except all of it being cosmic in nature.
The Lich saw potential with the sentient Comet, seeing it as a reminder of how he managed to come to Ooo as the comet that made the dinosaurs extinct. When it attempted to coerce it into his side, the Sleeper saw its trickery and decided to directly attack it using its tentacles and its eye. While the effect did not work with the Lich, the latter did not attack the comet back, seeing it as an immature time to engage it. He wishes to engage the Sleeper once it has matured and has the capability to continue its war against the other evils of the world.
- Finn on the other hand was dead scared upon realizing that another comet, one which was destructive as the Lich, was present in Pantheon proper. However, his fear would be short lived as he soon conquered his fear over the Lich and would do the same thing to the Sleeper. This is also the fact due to Finn being more or less the incarnation of the Blue Cosmic Comet, representing hope, with the very opposite of the Lich’s Green Cosmic Comet, representing death.. As soon as Finn met the Sleeper face-to-face, he even recognized the color of the comet being associated with madness, indicating that Finn knows all to well the nature of comets.
Finn: "It is true! The colors, its literally madness incarnate! The Colors of Madness!"
Apparently, several deities have attempted to "talk" to it in the hopes of understanding what it wants. Unsucessfully, only two deities have tried and almost costed their sanity: Louise Banks, and Nyarko.
- Louise attempted to directly go through the Farmstead in the hopes of communicating with it the same way she did with the Heptapods. Unfortunately, what she recieved was a flurry of Eye Beams courtesy of its attack, "The Sleeper Awakens", forcing her to retreat before losing her sanity. Few days after the attempt, the Heptapods later relayed to Louise that an unknown silence has been attempting to commune with the aliens. There are rumors that the Sleeper might have extracted information on Louise and the Heptapods, further antagonizing them both.
- Nyarko was an even more different story. While Nyarko’s nature as an Eldritch being helped it resist the Sleeper’s attacks, her attempts on communicating with it was fruitless. However, after that attempt, she would later preach in front of the other Nyarlathotep that those “eldritch beings” are from space and are aliens, which surprisingly gave the cosmic comet a stare upon hearing that (though this could be due to Nyarko’s observations being true that the Sleeper is alien in nature).
Nyarko: "See, I told you OTHER Nyarlothotep, we aren’t some mystical beings, we are aliens all this time."
While the Sleeper is truly powerful in its own right, many have pointed out that its powers only manifest only through the corruption is has spreaded, meaning that any area without the Farmstead’s Miasma will not be affected under its influence. However, that doesn’t mean that the corruption can be stopped, but instead can be halted before its inevitable release. Many gods are attempting to find other people who can help battle it should it ever come under contact once more.
The Ancestor: "It will live again in another time, another place.."

You know, after seeing that World of Light trailer, I had this plot bunny.

This threat appears in Gensokyo and claims nearly every single one of its inhabitants despite their experience in Danmaku battle. The only survivors would be Reimu (I think her Floating power can protect her from all those beams), Yukari (probably, given her border powers), and anyone she manages to rescue before closing off her portals lest the lights follow her and render her efforts in vain. And perhaps a few others.

Then again, I'm a novice in regards to Touhou lore, so I could be wrong.

So a new character was added to Overwatch name Ashe with Connection to Mc Cree. But what i found funny is that LOL has a character name Ashe as well and the two are both female with white hair. Wonder if Jesse would mistake the two.
