Character Sheets for Claire and all of her cats in Web Video/Kittisaurus.

    open/close all folders

    The Butler/Claire Luvcat
  • All Women Love Shoes: One video has Claire show off her shoe collection, including the incredibly gaudy high heels she no longer wears. Given most of the cats' reactions to the extremely high purple ones (save for TT and Chuchu), it's little wonder she switched to flat shoes.
  • Did Not Think This Through: Claire tries to trap Nana using the classic box and treats trick so she can cut her claws. Not only does this not do anything to get Nana to trust her but Nana turns out to be fast enough to give Claire the slip when she's caught. In addition to that, Lulu (predictably) goes for the bait and is the first cat to get caught.
  • Don't Try This at Home: She makes spam and mayo noodles. The result is so awful she gives a very firm warning for people not to recreate it for themselves in both the video and the comments.
  • Epic Fail: Says she took horse riding lessons, immediately falls off the bronco ride.
  • The Faceless: Initially Claire didn't show her face on camera but, as of 2021, this has changed. Claire has shown her face more and more, at least outside her home.
  • Feminine Women Can Cook: Aside from the cats and gaming videos, she often posts cooking videos. Some of the food is for her cats (such as the chicken and pumpkin cake) and sometimes it is for herself. Food for herself however has somewhat mixed results.
  • Fiery Redhead: Inverted. Despite having fiery red hair she's very calm and not very social.
  • Friend to All Living Things: She looks after ten cats, regularly volunteers at animal shelters, and once took in a baby magpie who'd fallen and was too young to fly away, keeping him safe until his mother came to collect him.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: You have to be one to make the largest room in your new home a cat play paradise, and even state it's primarily for the cats. (In addition to giving them a climbing space in dining room to play on.)
  • Gamer Chick: She is seen playing Super Mario Odyssey in one episode, and often live-streams herself playing Zelda and Animal Crossing.
  • Mama Bear: To her cats.
    • Due to Toto and Dodo being rushed in and out of hospital, she was particularly anxious about their neutering and Dodo needing a tooth out made her feel worse. Once the procedure was over and they were well enough to go home, Claire admitted she worried too much.
    • In “Extreme Alien Escape Challenge”, she used two mallets to beat up the aliens to protect her cats from the invasion.
  • Nice Girl: Not only does she take care of ten cats (one she took in after abandonment, three who were saved from euthanasia), she volunteers at animal shelters and, when she cannot do much for the animals in question (due to surgery being involved, she provides snacks and drinks for those who can.
  • The Perfectionist: When Claire made specialised 'wines' for her cats, she became incredibly flustered over DD being less than impressed by the results, despite all the other cats eagerly gulping the stuff down.
  • Polyglot: She can speak Korean (her native tongue), Japanese, and is practicing English.
  • The Reveal: As of summer 2021, Claire has shown her face on Camera. Most of the time she's wearing a mask but near the beginning of Hey There, Doggy you get a full face reveal.
  • Running Gag: Claire's laugh is compared to window wiping in many videos, usually with a wiping animation or someone wiping the glass. When Claire decides to give her windows a good wash, the subtitles state she could always do so with her laugh.
  • Woman of a Thousand Voices: On Claire's Kittisaurus Villains show, she does voice-over for her cats in English AND Korean, giving each cat who "talks" their own distinct voice. Lulu speaks with a high-pitched voice, Coco speaks with a deep and thick accent, Dodo is raspy and energetic, and so on.
  • The Workaholic: Claire states that, without her cats to remind her to take care of herself, she would put her work and getting results ahead of her own wellbeing. Not to mention she has a job, regularly volunteers at animal shelters, runs multiple YouTube channels, handles merchandise, makes cat orientated products, and makes regular trips to Japan for both business reasons, and to help find an effective treatment for feline kidney disease.

    DD

Norwegian Forest Cat
  • Acrofatic: The biggest of the cats, but it doesn't stop him from performing some really impressive jumps and moves.
  • Adorable Fluffy Tail: DD's tail resembles a feather duster. See here.
  • Betty and Veronica: The gentle Betty to Momo's proud Veronica and Lala's Archie.
    • He's become the Archie to Lala's assertive, tough Veronica, and Nana's maternal Betty.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: DD might be one of the nicest cats, but he's not a total pushover. He will nibble on Lulu's ears whenever the latter grooms him too hard.
  • Big Brother Instinct: As the oldest of the cats, he acts like a parental figure or big brother towards the other cats and tends to them quite a lot. Lala is particularly fond of him because of this.
  • Butt-Monkey: Not as bad as Momo, but he's often this as he's constantly on the end of receiving punches from TT.
  • Cats Are Lazy: Shows this attitude a lot, and sometimes he is irritated by Claire's attempts to play with him.
  • Cats Hate Water: Zigzagged. DD generally takes bath sessions pretty well most of the time, but there are times where he meows and resists quite a lot.
  • Cats Prefer Boxes: All cats have shades of this, but DD stands out the most from all of them. There is even a video dedicated to his love of boxes.
  • Cutting the Knot: Claire has the cats cross increasingly narrow bridges to reach snacks. DD's approach to the challenge is to simply walk up to each stool and reach up to take the snacks without using the bridges. Claire even remarks it's a "high IQ move" from him.
  • Cool Shades: Tends to sport some from time to time.
  • Fat Idiot: Subverted. He has a habit of constantly getting stuck in places because of his size, but is otherwise quite smart. Believe it or not, he acually figured out how to open cabinets with his paws.
  • Friend to All Children: He's friendly to Jong-Hyun and is seen tending to Lulu, Lala and Chuchu when they were kittens. He later does the same for Toto and Dodo.
  • Fluffy Dry Cat: Most notable after he takes a shower.
  • Genius Bruiser: One of the biggest cats and is capable of doing several Acrofatic feats. He also has shown remarkable intelligence, as he can open cupboards and the way he sits on the couch looks like how a human does it.
  • Gentle Giant: He's good with kids too.
  • Hulk Speak: While his actual meows are very soft, when Claire voices him his voice is deeper and he speaks between a mixture of Hulk Speak and Pokemon.
Claire: DD will you let me cut your claws? Hm? DD will you let me cut your claws?
DD: *Visibly looking for a way to escape. Calmly turns around and hides in his DD house.* "DD hiding."
  • Lady and Knight: DD is the White Knight as he protects Dark Lady TT from a newly assertive Chuchu who keeps challenging her.
  • Loving a Shadow: Claire thinks that DD likes TT. They already together since kittenhood and DD always groom her especially when she still sick. As adult cat, both of them no longer closer each other as TT prefer to be alone and always punch DD whenever he try to get close at her.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: With TT. DD is a cream colored male cat who known to be a very gentle, big and fluffy cat, with a soft and tiny meowing voice. While TT is a tough female cat who always punch any cat who dare to be close with her, her meowing voice also quite deep and she also love playing on the cat wheel.
  • Mega Neko: He has crushed boxes with his fatness.
  • Nice Guy: One of the nicest and less aggressive cats alongside Chuchu. Being a Friend to All Children and a Gentle Giant helps. It really shows when he never attacks TT back even if she punches him very often.
  • Parental Substitute: For Toto and Dodo, DD has ended up as something of a father figure to them ever since bonding with Nana.
  • Vocal Dissonance: Is the largest of the cats and given a deep voice over by Claire. His meow is a quiet squeak.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: He has shown a notable and particular liking for bread, to the point of reaching gluttony sometimes.
DD: "DD is so cute. Please feed DD bread."
  • Wouldn't Hit a Girl: Claire mentioned during a livestream that DD won't hit or pounce on the female cats. All the male cats, however, are fair game regardless of the size difference. (Unless Chuchu is trying to pick a fight with TT over the top spot in the hierarchy- then he'll step in to stop her.

    Lulu
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d3324157_1ad1_4b4f_b67a_ec0a5d33a4c2.png
Scottish Fold Munchkin Mix
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Lulu and TT might be described as ultimate rivals, but she's the one he turns to when it comes into grooming him, and he enjoys grooming her in return. And when they really do get along. Aww...
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: He's a young energetic kitten who loves to play with everything.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Although he is no longer the youngest with Claire adopting Nana, Dodo and Toto, the latter two the youngest of the 10 cats, he certainly acts like one, being naive and full of energy.
  • Blatant Lies: How Lulu attempts to explain how TT's bag vanished in order to protect Dodo (who stole it). He claims the snacks vanished into thin air. Unsurprisingly, neither TT nor Coco buy it.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: There are several times he'll lick the camera and also the mic.
  • Breakout Character: Out of all the cats, he's definitely the most memorable and popular one due to his humorous personality, and always being targeted as Memetic Mutation by anyone.
  • Big Brother Mentor: To Toto and Dodo, to the point where they're even using the "Lulu hole."
  • Big Eater: BIG TIME. There are countless times where he's seen stealing food from the other cats, and he is almost always first in line when Claire brings out the treats.
  • Cats Hate Water: He might love food and toys, but baths are not his favorite pastime. He does the most physical resisting out of the bunch when he has to take a shower.
  • Character Development: Lulu was initially jealous when Nana and her kids arrived as he was no longer the baby anymore. However, once he realized the kittens look up to him like a big brother and Nana wants to be his friend, he warms up to them and becomes their mentor and playmate. He seems to be mellowing out in the process and developing a little more patience when it comes to food. (Or that could just be in comparison to Toto and Dodo, the latter who is now confirmed to be worse when food is served.)
  • Character Tic: Lulu always stand up with two legs when he beg food to Claire.
  • Commonality Connection: Has a special bond with Lala as they are the two youngest cats who are the most mischievous out of the bunch. And there's the fact they are also the biggest eaters amongst the cats. They even had a criminal record of stealing treats together!
    • Has a similar bond with Dodo for pretty much the same reasons, despite Dodo and Lala not getting along too well.
  • Cutting the Knot: He tends to be more violent than the other cats with walls made by Claire.
    • In Cats vs Toilet Paper Wall, every other cat jumps over the wall whereas he just pushes his way through it.
    • In Cats vs Toilet Paper Maze, while the other cats either solve the maze or jump over the last wall, Lulu again simply pushes through each wall.
    • He subverts this in Extreme Cup Challenge by pushing over a big chunk of a paper cup wall, then jumping over the remaining height of the wall anyway.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Downplayed. He's the darkest cat of the bunch but far from evil as he's very sociable and sweet, though that hasn't stopped him from stealing treats every now and then.
  • Determinator: When it comes to anything treat related, Lulu will stop at nothing to get it. Tellingly, this is the main reason why he and his team manage to win the Find the Hidden Cat Treat Challenge #2 despite almost running out of time, since Lulu was persistent enough to grab the most difficult set of treats.
  • Everyone Has Standards: There are some foods even Lulu won't eat. The list includes lemon, chestnuts and popcorn. He's also horrified when he spies Dodo eating trash off the floor.
Oh my God! He ate paper.
  • Gender-Blender Name: He's male but has a name commonly associated with females. It's also why he gets mistaken for female a lot.
  • Genki Guy: Very energetic and cheerful, and loves to play with everything.
  • Genre Savvy: Shows this in one his bath videos. Claire tries to lure him into the bathroom with a large basket of snacks. It doesn't take long for Lulu to smell a rat and run for it. (That being said, he can't resist the food basket for long.)
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Lulu is the top troublemaker cat and likes to steal other cats' foods, but he is also very sweet, energetic and sociable, and cares about Chuchu very much with how often he grooms her.
  • Leeroy Jenkins: Lulu can be extremely prone to rushing into situations more aggressively than his fellow felines. In the Cats vs Invisible Wall | Kittisaurus video, the other cats were befuddled by the plastic wrap, or had slipped through the holes left by previous attempts. Lulu's response by contrast was to jump and ram his head through the upper plastic wrap, tearing it down in the process.
  • Motor Mouth: Owing to his Big Eater nature. He's also this when he's voiced by Claire.
  • The Napoleon: The shortest of the cats, but also the most energetic and passionate, especially regarding food and grooming other cats.
  • Not Me This Time: Claire initially believes it was Lulu who ate part of her silicone steamer plate due to him trying to chew it when she holds it up to him. In the comments she later reveals Dodo (perhaps unsurprisingly) was the guilty culprit.
  • No-Sell: Is the only cat who doesn't go crazy over catnip. He will choose food or toys over it every time. (He does, however, go crazy over silver vine, an alternative to catnip)
  • Odd Couple: With Chuchu, whose personality is the exact opposite of him.
  • Pintsize Powerhouse: In one Villains video, he tries to stop Claire from exercising by pulling the large, foam cylinder away from her with his teeth. The object is significantly larger than he is. Claire even remarks how strong he is as he's doing it.
  • Playing Sick: Lulu starts limping after moving so Claire takes him to the vet to see if anything is wrong. As soon as he arrives at the vet, his pain seems to magically go away and he even shows affection to Dr Kim. While he had put some strain on his legs, he'd exaggerated the pain for extra sympathy and treats.
    • Another video reveals he's had to run around on three legs due to the pain in his front left paw. After treatment, he starts trying to use this to procure extra treats from Claire. He even pops his head around the door and hobbles in on three legs, only for Claire to scold him for trying to fool her. He then walks out in a huff, on four legs.
  • The Rival: To TT, whom Claire describes as his ultimate rivals ever.
  • Sitcom Archnemesis: The purple hairbrush. He will chew on it and refuse to let go if he sees it. He even growls when Claire tries to remove it from his mouth. In “Cats vs. 200 Brushes”, he choose to go after the purple one over the various ones Claire bought.
  • Skewed Priorities: When Dodo tells him DD has vanished during a heist, Lulu laments he cannot do anything because he has a tummy ache. When Dodo mentions the snacks he and DD were trying to steal have gone as well, Lulu declares an emergency and gets up to find DD and the missing snacks.
  • Smarter Than They Look: Lulu may be one of the most comedic cats, but he's shown he can be quite savvy when it comes to food. Clare tries to trick the cats with a video of snacks being poured into a bowl, but Lulu doesn't fall for it, even when Claire pretends to scoop food into the "dish."
  • Trademark Favourite Food: Eggs. Lulu goes nuts when Claire prepares them. In one Villains episode, he even eats an egg raw.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: To TT and Momo, who he often fights with but get along pretty well otherwise.
  • Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Has been on the receiving end of a couple of Dodo's punches, but he never retaliates. When Toto spends an entire video pestering him to play, Lulu simply moves out of the way and hopes he will give up soon. He doesn't even bother that much when Toto tries to nurse from him.

    TT
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/10c39488_abc9_4539_9c34_74478167a5e6_0.jpg
British Shorthair
  • Action Girl: The best fighter among the cats.
  • Bad Boss: In Kittisaurus Villains, she ropes DD into delivering catnip for her under the threat of taking his fangs should he fail. When he loses the catnip, she makes good on that promise.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Shows much less in the present, but as one of the eldest cats, she does show this trait towards the younger cats. In her younger days, she would often groom Lala, and is the one who Lulu turns to for grooming.
  • Cats Are Mean: She attacks the other cats if they get too near to her.
  • Cats Hate Water: Let's just say baths aren't her favorite pastime... She meows and panics a lot during baths, and is second only to Lala in this regard.
  • Cool Big Sister: To Lulu, she has a soft spot for the little guy, strangely.
    • Later to Toto and Dodo. She's seen teaching them how to be better fighters. This backfires on her when Dodo gives her one of his trademark punches.
  • Even Bad Women Love Their Mamas: She's mean to all the other cats, but she adores Claire.
  • Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: The Grumpy, to Nana's Gleeful.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Bites Claire when she cheers Lala on the cat wheel because she wants the same attention.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Has the tendency to get easily irritated when other cats invade her personal space, leading her into punching them.
  • Ice Queen: Very cold and standoffish, preferring to be away from the other cats.
    • Defrosting Ice Queen: Thanks to Nana and Toto, TT has become less standoffish in more recent videos. She lets Lulu hang out with her more, and has even let Momo groom her.
  • Implied Love Interest: Claire thinks that DD loves her.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: As cold as she might be, TT does have her nicer moments with the other cats, like when she supports Lulu in his fight with Momo. Helped by how she is one of the most loyal cats to Claire.
  • Lady and Knight: The Dark Lady protected by White Knight DD from the newly assertive Chuchu, who keeps challenging her for the top spot in the hierarchy.
  • Mama Bear: Has her moments. She clearly looks out for Toto when he tries to use the cat wheel, and she checked on both Nana and Chuchu after they returned home from their respective surgeries to make sure they were okay.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: With DD. DD is a big, fluffy, cream-colored male cat, known to be very gentle with a soft and tiny meow; while TT is a tough female cat who punches any cat who dares come too close, her meowing voice is rather deep and raspy, and she loves playing on the cat wheel.
  • Not So Above It All: Her calm and reserved personality doesn't stop her from showing silly moments of her own, as shown here.
  • Odd Friendship: TT and Nana have been growing very close, to the point where TT actually grooms her and even lets Nana steal her food. More recently however she's reverted back to her old habits and has punched Nana a couple of times for invading her personal space.
  • The Stoic: Nothing really fazes her that much, and she maintains a calm behavior even when all of the other cats are making quite a commotion.
    • Not So Stoic: ... When she has to take a shower or go to the vet? Not so much. Cue a lot of meowing and hissing from her.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Due to her illness which resulted in her constantly going to the vet, TT never liked Dr. Kim Jae-Young, a patient and Nice Guy veterinarian from Taeneung Cat Hospital. TT is always sulking, hissing and growling even before he starts checking on her condition.
  • Situational Sociability: Is generally very withdrawn from the other cats, but gets along very well with Claire. She also shows a surprising amount of energy when she plays with a toy fish.
  • Suddenly Voiced: As of June 2021, TT has a voice-over like the male cats. It's a very soft whisper.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: While she is quite standoffish to the other cats, she shows her sweeter side whenever Claire is around.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: TT is an Action Girl, one of the best fighters, and loves to run on the cat wheel. But when Claire takes her shopping for a new cat harness, she struts around in a pale purple one with pretty bows on it with a pleased look on her face.
  • Tsundere: She is a colder Type A to the other cats, especially DD— she punches every other cat who tries to get to her personal space, but does care about and tolerate them.
  • Used to Be More Social: TT used to be more social and outgoing in her younger days, and even outright showed motherly attitude towards the other cats, but she becomes more standoffish and withdrawn as she grew up.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With DD and Lulu. TT punches DD the most out of the cats and is one of Lulu's biggest rivals, but she still tolerates them as she grew up with DD together and likes him more than the other male cats, and grooms Lulu time to time.
  • Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Gets punched in the face by Dodo, and simply walks away rather than punching back. (In a later video she gives him a warning bite, so it might be she won't hurt a child while Nana is around.)

    Chuchu
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/99dcb6a7_b585_40e4_9d4c_3bb6eec26a1f.png
Scottish Fold
  • The Baby of the Bunch: One of the youngest cats, and even though she's actually older than Lala and Lulu, she oftentimes acts like the youngest because of her introverted personality.
  • Betty and Veronica: The gentle and easygoing Betty to Lala's more outgoing and fierce Veronica and Lulu's Archie.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: While she's generally quiet and easygoing, if a bit skittish, one episode shows her fighting and hissing at Lulu when he gets too rough while grooming her.
  • Cats Are Magic: She's the fortune teller in Welcome to Kitty Tarot Shop.
  • Cats Hate Water: Notably averted. Chuchu tolerates baths very well compared to the other cats barring Coco and Nana, and doesn't flinch or meow a lot in bath videos.
  • Character Development: Early on, she was very shy and quiet, and often spent her time alone. As time has gone by, however, while she's still reserved compared to the other cats, she's shown that she's becoming more confident and brave.
    • Her growing confidence and bravery is most notable when comparing moving videos. The first two times she's terrified and even has to be put in her tent during the second move. By the time the third move comes around, not only is she much calmer but she ends up comforting Dodo, who now seems to be coming the most scared of the cats.
  • Character Tic: She will stand up with two legs when she is surprised or confused.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: She sometimes displays stranger up-in-the-air behavior that the other cats do not show.
  • Cool Big Sis: Shows this towards Toto and Dodo; watching them when they use the cat wheel as a swing, following them around and even offering to sit and play with them. During the 2021 move, she comforts Dodo by sitting in the cat carrier with him and kneading him to calm him down.
  • Cute Kitten: Definitely!
    • Deliberately Cute Kitten: One video shows her rolling around on the floor to get Claire to go to the kitchen and give her treats. And if that's not enough, she acts cute again while insisting Claire give her the treats by hand instead of eating them out of her bowl.
  • Dark Horse Victory: Wins the ball pool challenge, mostly because Dodo and Lulu were distracted, and Lala hesitated when faced with trays of water.
  • Fragile Flower: Is scared of EVERYTHING.
  • Genki Girl: Very downplayed, but she showing shades of this as she becomes more open to other cats.
  • The Heroine: Plays the Alice role in Chuchu in Wonderland, where she goes down the rabbit hole in the hopes of finding something that will help a sick TT.
  • Hidden Depths: Despite her calm behavior, she is not immune to dorky moments. In Cats vs Fish, her response to the moving fish is to imitate it.
  • Hikikomori: She stays in her tent most of the time.
  • Implied Love Interest: To Lulu since they always together and he always groom her. They interaction is closed to Official Couple.
  • Minored In Ass Kicking: She is generally very passive and dislikes fighting with other cats, but she can fight when the situation calls it. Also see Pint-Sized Powerhouse.
  • Nice Girl: Is the most reserved out of the cats and has a very easygoing and gentle personality, especially when compared to the more standoffish Lala and TT. She almost always patiently waits for her treats while the other cats fought for it.
  • Not So Above It All: Chuchu looks calm and docile on camera but in one video Claire reveals she likes to chew on cables.
  • Picky Eater: She used to be this her narrow nostrils inhibiting her sense of taste and smell. Once they're widened, she switches around and shows signs of becoming a Big Eater (albeit not as bad as Lulu, Lala or Dodo).
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Beat Lulu in a tug-of-war.
  • Pokémon Speak: In 2021 Kittisaurus heist videos, she says 'chu' when voiced by Claire.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: She's actually the blue to everyone's red, as she's by far the most passive cat— but it's the most apparent with Lulu and Lala.
  • Shrinking Violet: Is scared of socialization and doesn't leave her tent much.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Chuchu is normally a very quiet cat but when Claire takes her to the vet for surgery on her nose, she meows loud enough to rival Lulu.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Post nasal surgery Chuchu has become a lot braver, more active and increasingly sociable.
    • She's seen chasing after DD and hunting raindrops at the window.
    • Having a better sense of smell means she's also started to show some Big Eater tendencies. She now meows and begs for food, and then steals from Toto.
    • She's started to challenge TT for the top spot in the hierarchy to the point DD has to step in to stop her. Claire even states she's moved up to third place in the hierarchy from seventh. That puts her above Lala.
  • Trademark Favourite Food: Chuchu loves the small, crunchy fish treats Claire occasionally gets. The first time she tries some, she actually sneaks more nibbles out of them than Lulu. The second time she's so eager for them she stands on her hind legs to beg.

    Coco
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/71221b9c_d55d_4df9_9a4e_74a825a874fb.jpg
Forest Cat
  • Absent-Minded Professor: It took him the longest to complete the water challenge because he stopped right before the last tray to apparently make some calculations. Then he remembers he's doing the challenge and completes it.
  • Berserk Button: Do not say magic and science are the same thing. It's one of the few times Coco gets genuinely angry in Kittisaurus Villains
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: In his Mad Scientist portrayal, he offers DD food when it's actually his latest formula and could have horrible side effects on DD.
  • Blatant Lies: In Kittisaurus Villains, he's caught on camera energetically playing with a catnip doll. He hurriedly explains that he was doing a hands on experiment.
  • Cats Are Superior: He thinks he's above humans.
  • Cats Hate Water: Averted. He is one of the most bath-tolerating cats along with Chuchu and Nana.
  • Cutting the Knot: In Cats vs Invisible Maze, he charges through and tears a massive hole in the last wall of the maze.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Momo.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: One of his most distinguishable characteristics, and fits very well to his princely image.
  • Light Is Not Good: He may look adorable and angelic, but he's an evil scientist who wants to rule the galaxy.
  • Mad Scientist: Who aims to rule the galaxy.
  • Mean Character, Nice Actor: He is often portrayed as an evil Mad Scientist, although in actuality he's a very gentle cat who gets along with and almost never fights with other cats.
  • Nice Guy: One of the calmer and nicer cats if not a bit of a loner, and gets along with other cats very well, particularly Momo.
  • Not So Above It All: Isn't averse of showing weird moments, as shown from his dorky attitude.
  • Picky Eater: Claire has noted he's fussier about food than most of the other cats and is even seen rejecting chicken if it is not right. When Claire asked the vet about this, he remarked it is because Coco is a sensitive cat who can easily be put off by certain smells and textures.
  • Pretty Boy: Often treated like this in many videos, with Claire describing him as 'handsome'.
  • Princely Young Man: Another of his general portrayals, as he's often called a prince.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: In Kittisaurus Villains, Coco isn't wrong when he says humans do things that are harmful to themselves but exercise probably isn't one of them.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The quiet Sensitive Guy to Momo's proud Manly Man.
  • Situational Sociability: While he is generally pretty withdrawn and camera-shy, he can be pretty outgoing and energetic when it comes to treats, or when Claire buys new toys— he's almost always the first in line to observe them.
  • The Smart Guy: He heads the news programs and is even a doctor. He wrote a book called "Nature Cat" detailing cat biology.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: His portrayals and rather withdrawn behavior give off a rather cold vibe, but he's also a very gentle cat and can get energetic and curious regarding treats and toys.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Coco says this word for word in The End of Kittisaurus Villains when Lulu and Dodo decide the best response to Doomsday is to steal as many snacks as possible while they still can.
  • The Quiet One: One of the most reserved and calmest of the cats. He barely meows and does it the least out of all ten cats, and barely panics during baths.
  • Tranquil Fury: When Lala hits him in My Fluffy Alarm Clocks, he simply stares at her and warns her to stop... for her own good.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: He wasn't always evil.
  • Used to Be More Social: Used to be very mischievous and cheerful as a kitten. Nowadays, he's very calm and reserved.
  • Verbal Tic: If Claire is doing a voiceover for him, it usually is prefaced with "Hmm...".
  • White Hair, Black Heart: Has white fur, but is also a Mad Scientist.

    Momo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1ea96140_77de_4372_8305_f942b2cdb823.jpg
Persian Exotic Shorthair
  • All Love Is Unrequited: He loves Lala, but every time he tries to groom or come close to her, she punches him.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: Has a very proud personality and is amongst the more outgoing and energetic cats.
    • Bruiser with a Soft Centre: As shown when he comforts Nana after she's been to the vet. She's still groggy from the anaesthetic so Momo follows her around until she lays down in the cardboard house. He then grooms her and shows his belly, assuring her that everything will be alright.
  • Berserk Button: Respect your elders! Or Momo will deliver a massive punch to the face, as Dodo and Lulu discovered after hissing at General.
  • Betty and Veronica: The proud, boisterous Veronica to DD's brotherly, humble Betty and Lala's Archie.
  • Butt-Monkey: Amongst all the cats, he's the one who ends up being the butt of jokes the most often, his unrequited love of Lala being the biggest factor of this.
  • Catchphrase: "Stamina!"
  • Cats Hate Water: Downplayed. He gets pretty annoyed during bath sessions but doesn't physically resist as much as Lulu or meow as much as Lala or TT.
  • Cool Car: Rides the robot vacuum like a boss.
  • Dirty Old Man: Sometimes his obsession with 'pat-pat' from Claire gives this impression.
  • Grumpy Old Man: Despite his actual age being about the middle of the bunch he has the character personality of an older man. Probably due to his cheeks and tiny nose giving him jowls.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Coco.
  • Hypocritical Humour: In Super Cat, Momo tells Lulu he must resist the allure of catnip in order to get his cat powers back... then starts rolling around in it himself.
  • Not So Above It All: Despite his refined attitude as a chairman, he's easily one of the more mischievous cats.
  • Odd Friendship: With Coco, whose personality is almost the opposite of him.
  • Perpetual Frowner: His jowls give him this impression of his expressions most of the time.
  • Playing Sick: Momo starts breathing heavily while Claire is giving him exercise so she takes him to the vet. The breathing is bad enough for Dr Kim to be concerned so he has Momo examined for any signs of problems on his lungs or heart. The tests reveal Momo is actually in very good condition, leading Claire and Dr Kim to conclude that he'd faked the heavy breathing.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: His dynamic with Lala, with him being the savvy man who heads Momo Corp, and Lala being the most energetic of the female cats.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The boisterous and confident Manly Man to Coco's quiet and reserved Sensitive Guy.
  • The Smart Guy: He heads Momo Corp.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Lulu. The two fight pretty often, but most of the time Momo doesn't mind being groomed by Lulu and enjoys his company as they're often seen together.
  • Would Hit a Girl: Considering Lala always hits him first, it's justified.

Munchkin Forest Cat Mix
  • Action Girl: One of the likeliest to punch other cats. At one point, she even punches TT of all cats!
  • Adorable Fluffy Tail: Claire nicknames her "Fluffy tail" because she has a very furred, fluffy tail.
  • Betty and Veronica: The extroverted, energetic and sometimes mean Veronica to Chuchu's gentle and introverted Betty and Lulu's Archie. In her relationship with DD and Momo, she herself is the Archie to both cats.
    • She's also become the Veronica to Nana's sweet and maternal Betty to DD's Archie.
  • Big Brother Worship: Towards DD, whom she is very close with. The fact that he grooms her a lot as a kitten really helps.
  • Big Eater: Not as extreme as Lulu or Dodo, but she is definitely the third behind them.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Towards Nana, given the latter isn't exactly known for fighting back when punched. She has given both Momo and Lulu punches for hitting Nana in the face.
  • Cats Are Mean: Sometimes exhibits this, as Lala isn't afraid of attacking the other cats when the situation calls it.
  • Cats Hate Water: The biggest offender out of the cats; she panics and meows the most during bath videos, beating even TT in this regard.
  • Cone of Shame: Wears one in Cats vs Glass Dome, which really hinders her attempts at the challenge to the point where Claire decides to just give her the food.
  • Genki Girl: The most cheerful and outgoing of the female cats, especially when compared to the calmer and more reserved Chuchu and TT.
  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Lala is a beautiful long haired white munchkin cat, who always portrayed as the diva of the group. Aside that, she is a Big Eater just like Lulu, always become his partner-in-crime during feeding time for steal the other cats food and love to play on cat wheel.
  • Green-Eyed Monster:
    • When Butler is comfortably petting Chuchu, she jumps in suddenly, looking for similar comfort.
    • The other one has her getting jealous of Momo being in love with the robot cat Mimi, and her response is to destroy her.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: A trait she shares with Coco. It's notably more circular than his.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Is definitely amongst the more mischievous of the cats and isn't afraid of punching them, but is very affectionate towards those she adores (DD and Lulu are the best examples), and is very loyal to Claire and will respond quickly when her name gets called.
  • Light Is Not Good: She has a criminal record for stealing cat treats with Lulu.
  • Little Miss Badass: With her short stature, diva-like personality and lack of fear in fighting back against other cats, she gives off these vibes.
  • The Napoleon: One of the shortest (and the second youngest) cats along with Lulu, but is just as fierce and mischievous as him.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: One of the smallest cats, but it doesn't stop her from being very energetic and strong.
  • Pokémon Speak: 'Mya'
  • Sitcom Archnemesis: Used to have this dynamic with Dodo when he was younger, as the two would often punch each other in retaliation for either other punches or stolen food. More recently, they seem to have put their differences aside and in one video, appear to bond over some ice Claire dropped on the floor.
  • Smarter Than You Look: Lala might not look like it, but she has shown surprising moments of awareness like how she secured her treats from Lulu and quickly reacted to Claire calling her name.
  • Tsundere: Type A to Momo. She punches him a lot whenever he tries to get closer to her, but when he gets close to a robot cat Mimi, Lala gets jealous and destroyed her.
    • She's also a Type A in a big sister sense towards Dodo. Normally she will punch and hiss at him whenever he annoys her or gets in her way. Yet whenever he becomes deeply distressed (stuck atop the kitchen cabinets, being given a practice bath), she immediately goes to see what's wrong and becomes concerned for his wellbeing.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Has struck Dodo a couple of times. To be fair, the first time was because he struck her first and the second was because he stole her food.
  • Yandere: Her reaction when Momo gets close to and found love with a robot cat called Mimi is to destroy her.

     Nana
  • Actual Pacifist: Is the only cat who has yet to punch anyone. Nana will usually walk away if she's punched, and prefers to befriend those around her. According to Claire, it means she's at the very bottom of the hierarchy, even her sons outrank her.
  • All Animals Are Dogs: Much like a dog, she knows how to shake and high-five.
  • All-Loving Heroine: The most friendly and loving cat out of the group, willing to show affection to all the cats and Claire. She's even managed to befriend TT.
  • Berserk Button: Being ill and having to take medication. When the cats caught a terrible virus, Nana became so irritable she actually hissed at Claire.
  • Betty and Veronica: The affectionate, friendly Betty to Lala's rambunctous and somewhat mean Veronica with DD as the Archie.
  • Big Eater: Justified, given she's a rescue cat but it seems Lulu isn't the only one Dodo picks up his raiding habits from.
  • Cats Hate Water: Averted as she is one of the more bath tolerating cats alongside Coco and Chuchu.
  • The Defroster: To TT. Once she starts integrating with the other cats, Nana becomes determined to befriend her, usually by laying down in front of her, bringing her toys and checking on her. Eventually, TT openly welcomes her friendship and the two are often seen curled up together.
  • Distaff Counterpart: To Momo. Both are orange cats who love bum pats. In one livestream, Nana even attempts to show affection to Lala by flopping down in front of her.
  • Extreme Doormat: Nana is the least likely to punch or fight back when provoked and will simply walk away when challenged. More often than not another cat will step in and fight on her behalf. In the past this was Dodo, but more recently Lala has stepped in to stand up for her.
  • Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: The Gleeful to TT's Grumpy.
  • I Got Bigger: While her change isn't quite as dramatic as that of her sons, Nana has significantly filled out since Claire took her in. When she first arrived, she was thin with a somewhat scraggy coat, dirty and had chin acne. Now she's got a fuller figure and a much glossier coat so looks much healhtier and happier.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: Is by far the biggest love bug of the cats, most likely due to her spending time as a stray and time in an animal shelter. She has expressed affection to all of the other cats, Claire and even one of the hospital cats.
  • Mama Bear: For her kittens, Toto and Dodo. When Claire has to take them to the vet on a regular basis, Nana fears for their safety and wellbeing to the point of both resenting and avoiding her.
    • She's also shown this trait for the other cats despite them being older than her. TT crying during a bath causes Nana to wait anxiously outside the bathroom, clearly worried about her close friend. She'll also occasionally show a maternal attitude toward Lulu, such as sitting him to prevent her kittens from milking him.
  • Nice Girl: Is a very friendly and sociable cat, having shown affection towards all the male cats and even seems to have become friends with TT, of all cats.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: The virus hits Nana hard enough to make her grouchy enough to hiss at and even avoid Claire.
    • She actually starts avoiding Claire in later videos in spite of her cheerfulness and eagerness to get petted towards her way earlier. Claire reveals the implied reason is because she had to force-feed Nana nutrients once and it was shown to not be such a great experience for her to the point she avoids being touched by Claire and avoiding being seen by the camera.
  • Potty Failure: Had an accident in the kitchen after she followed DD there and then accidently got shut in. Fortunately, due to being one of the smarter cats, and the thinnest, she was able to escape the second time by squeezing through the baby gate.
  • Rescue Introduction: Claire rescued her and her kittens, initially taking them in temporarily, but eventually gave them names and seems to be aiming to keep them.
  • Shrinking Violet: Nana has become increasingly withdrawn and timid in more recent videos, to the point where she barely appears at all. When she does appear, Claire has to try and coax her by offering the bell and treats.
  • Single Woman Seeks Good Man: She seems to be very interested in DD, as he's taken on a paternal role for her kittens and is generally very friendly and affectionate with her. This could also apply to Momo, as the chairman showed the most concern and affection to her after her spaying, which resulted in them being closer.
  • Sixth Ranger: Technically eighth ranger, but unlike the other cats, who were with Claire as kittens, Nana and her kittens are a new addition to the group.
  • Smarter Than You Look: Nana is actually incredibly intelligent. She quickly learned her name after being fully adopted and has also learned to shake, high-five and ring bells. However, it means she's extra sneaky when it comes to Claire's food and whenever Claire's distracted, she will snatch any food she can reach, even scooping rice off a plate with her paw and looking innocent afterwards.
  • Training the Pet: Claire trains her to shake and high-five in order to regain her trust after Nana grew resentful of her for taking her sons to the vet every day. She went one step further and trained her to ring a bell- only to later regret it when Nana realized ringing the bell was all she needed to do to get Claire's attention.

     Toto and Dodo
  • All Animals Are Dogs: Much like his mother, Toto acts like a dog in that he plays fetch.
    • Also like their mother, Toto and Dodo know how to shake, and even do it simultaneously.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Toto spends an entire video bothering Lulu.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: The reason Dodo keeps losing tournament challenges. He's distracted by something, allowing his opponent (Chuchu the first time, Lala the second) to walk right past him.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Literally, as they're kittens.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Toto is one of the quieter and calmer cats. However, he can be outright brutal to anything he perceives as a threat. Claire once brought home a noisy toy dog ad he was the only cat who showed any reaction. She later found it on the floor with the batteries removed, and Toto sat not so far away, looking pleased with himself.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Dodo has a long list of dopey antics to his name and is definitely not the brightest bulb in the box- but he's on par with Lala and TT when it comes to punching other cats. Nana is the only one he hasn't hit.
  • Big Brother Worship: They both absolutely adore Lulu and love to snuggle up and play with him. In some cases they will even fight over who gets to sit next to him. Unfortunately, now they are bigger than him, Lulu is starting to find this annoying.
    • Toto is also very fond of TT. He attempts to run on the cat wheel with her (but falls off due to being too small), crosses the narrowest bridge because TT did it, and has tried to get her to play with him a few times. Unfortunately, TT isn't interested and walks away from him.
  • Big Brother Bully: Toto towards Dodo, given the former has grown to the point he rivals DD for largest cat. He once terrorized Dodo to the point Claire had to rescue him.
  • Big Eater: Dodo has shown this trait since early kittenhood, as shown when he practically inhales the shredded chicken Claire made for him and Toto. And that's before all the times he's stolen food from both Claire and other cats. Not even a punch from Lala is enough to keep him from food.
  • Bruiser with a Soft Centre: Dodo is boisterous and not afraid to punch cats who annoy him or get in his way (not even TT is safe in that regard). However he is very close with his mother and loves attention from Claire. Claire even refers to him as a momma's boy.
  • Butt-Monkey: Dodo does pretty poorly in the extreme treat cup challenge getting the treats out of the large and small containers even with Lulu and Lala showing how each one is done. When it comes to the smallest challenge, he's so frustrated he just decides to knock over as many cups as possible to get the treats.
  • Catchphrase: "All food is mine" seems to be coming one for Dodo.
  • Cats Hate Water: Dodo becomes so distressed around water that Claire has only gotten as far as giving him practice baths where he only gets a little wet. His meows are so sad and upset that even Lala comes to support him.
  • Character Tic: Dodo will steal food by getting as much in his mouth as possible and then running off with it, even if the food comes from his own dish. More recently he's graduated to stealing an entire packet of cat food and Lulu's milk bottle.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Dodo shows some odd behavior at times; wriggling across the carpet as a kitten, doing barrel rolls to catch a laser and being rather oblivious to the world around him at times. When Claire does the "popular cat IQ test" (holding a cat up to a wall to see if they place their feet on it), Dodo nearly face plants into the wall.
  • Comically Missing the Point: When TT tries to punch or bite him to get him to leave her alone, Toto interprets this as her wanting to play. Similarly when Claire sorts through her pajamas, Toto believes they are new toys to play with to the point when Claire tries to take them off him, he turns it into a Tug-of-War.
  • Cute, but Cacophonic: Dodo has a very loud and long meow, and he meows a lot (usually when he wants food). In I Want To Talk About Toto and Dodo, Claire asks her viewers to count the number of times he meows on their way home from the vet.
  • The Defroster: Much like his mother, Toto is this for TT.
  • Everyone Has Standards: There are foods even Dodo won't eat. These include lemons, pickled radish and, most famously, mushrooms. The face he makes when confronted with that last one is what inspired Claire to make cat emojis.
  • Extreme Omnivore: As Claire begins planting cat grass in large pots, Dodo decides he likes the taste of soil and eats it. (Despite reacting with absolute disgust towards it earlier in the video.) In another video, it's revealed he ate part of Claire's silicone steamer plate and eats paper in another.
  • Extremely Protective Child: At the end of one of Claire's livestreams, Dodo sees TT punch Nana and is not happy about it. He punches her twice in the face while delivering one hell of a Death Glare. In the end it is TT who backs down so Dodo took on the toughest cat and won for his mother's sake.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Dodo is definitely the foolish one as he has to be rescued by Claire from the top of the kitchen cabinets and throws up after eating silicone. Toto is the responsible one (or as responsible as a kitten can get), protecting his home from the robot vacuum, giant toy bugs and the large zombie hand.
  • Growing Up Sucks: Neither of them is happy when Nana decides they're too old to be nursed and pushes them away. Toto takes it particularly hard as he starts trying to feed from Lulu.
  • Identical Stranger: One Kittisaurus Villains video has Toto fight the Robot Vacuum but the cats believe it is Dodo until they either get a closer look or Dodo admits he was hiding from the vacuum the entire time. (This is perhaps a reference to the fact a lot of fans initially struggled to tell the brothers apart.)
  • Identical Twin ID Tag: Toto has a rounder face and figure, a smaller orange pattern on his face, and a symmetric pattern that covers most of his forehead. Dodo on the other hand has a triangular face and leaner body, a larger orange pattern on his face, and the orange pattern parts midway on his forehead.
    • More recently Dodo is shown sporting a sailor kerchief around his neck, making it easier to tell him apart from his brother.
  • I Got Bigger: They've started hitting a growth spurt under Claire's care, becoming more than twice as big as when they were just kittens.
    • Toto is now big enough to rival DD. He's even too big to wear harnesses meant for TT, and she's not exactly small.
  • In-Series Nickname: Claire refers to Toto as the Brave Toto due to him attacking things that frighten him or other cats (such as the robot vacuum). She frequently calls Dodo the Mad Catter due to his antics making Lulu look calm by comparison.
  • Like Mother Like Son: Dodo can ring bells to secure treats from Claire, just like his mother once did.
  • Lovable Coward: Dodo gets scared enough to make Chuchu look brave by comparison. It's most noticeable during the move where she has to comfort him throughout the process, and when Claire gives him a practice bath.
    • Toto is somewhat becoming this because he avoids human strangers at every instances and is even to the point of not allowing Claire to really touch him, although he doesn't react badly.
  • Mega Neko: Toto rivals DD when it comes to size. Once Claire put a cat harness intended for TT on him, and it was so tight, he couldn't walk in it.
  • No Indoor Voice: Claire gives Dodo a fairly loud and somewhat shrill voice. It fits their mischievous natures.
  • The Quiet One: Toto is definitely one of the quieter cats. Claire has recently expressed surprise when he meows for food. (But given he has Dodo for a brother.)
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: While they are both energetic and have large appetites, Toto tends to be the calm, polite Blue to Dodo's aggressive punch-happy Red. Inverted when toys are involved, at which point Dodo is either calm or scared, while Toto becomes the aggressive one.
    • Dodo in particular is the Red to Lulu's Blue when it comes to food. That's right, the very cat has made the most infamous eater look peaceful by comparison.
  • Rescue Introduction: Along with their mother.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: Toto is quiet, camera-shy, and one of the least food-motivated cats, whilst Dodo is loud, out-going, and even worse than Lulu and Lala when it comes to food.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: After just one encounter with the nail clippers Dodo hates them to the point of climbing a cat tower all for the sake of hissing at them.
    • Dodo used to have this dynamic with Lala, with them frequently punching each other and fighting over food. More recent videos show them getting on better, and even bonding over some ice Claire dropped.
  • Training the Pet: Claire has had to train Dodo to take food nicely from her due to the fact he's bitten her fingers several times (both accidently and deliberately).
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: They frequently fight and punch one another, to the point where Nana once had to step in and stop them. Yet when at the vet, Claire admitted she put them in the same cat carrier because they cried when she put them in separate ones.
  • Waistcoat of Style: Claire makes Toto wear one due to him having a nasty scratch on his back. He doesn't seem to mind it and many fans remark it suits his calm personality.
  • Would Hit a Girl: Dodo has punched Chuchu, Lala, and even TT. (And somehow got away with it in TT's case.)
