Grand Crossover Worldbuilding is a collaborative fan worldbuilding project hosted on Discord.
The project currently contains around 150 series, from which concepts, characters, and events can be taken in order to build a new universe.
The Discord makes many of it's decisions via putting various series up for a vote, with winning ideas being added to the project's canon document. Because the Discord contains many ideas that aren't yet canon, please do not add any examples from pitches that are not in the canon doc.
A link to the discord server hosting the project can be found here, and the currently decided canon can be read here.

Super Crossover Worldbuilding contains examples of:
- Adaptation Amalgamation
- Adaptational Backstory Change:
- Rather than cosmic rays, the Fantastic Four are blasted by Kirbons, dark matter, exotic matter, cosmic strings, zero point energy, and dark energy.
- Dark energy is quintessence from Voltron, and one aspect of the Power Cosmic.
- Adaptation Origin Connection:
- The X-gene here is a mutated form of DC's Metagene, and the Quirks of My Hero Academia is just a rebranding of the X-Gene.
- The chemical which gives the heroes of The Boys their powers is an attempt to replicate the Super Soldier Serum which gave Captain America his powers.
- The TMA-2 Monolith from Film/2001ASpaceOdyssey is responsible for giving the Fantastic Four their powers.
- Reed Richards was inspired to build his ship and search for alien life after seeing Superman's ship crash land in Smallville, Kansas.
- The original 72 Gundams were based on the Jaegers and designed by Aeolia Schenberg.
- Green Lantern Rings are powered by the Genesic Aura.
- Jupiter's transformation into a Star was catalyzed by THE POWER, which also powers the Monoliths.
- Galactus was transformed into a cosmic being by Triple Zero.
- Obscure Superman villain Master Jailor is a disgruntled member of the SCP Foundation.
- All Myths Are True: Played with. There are numerous mythological characters present, but they are formed by the beliefs of humanity. As such, their activities don't technically mean the myths are true.
- Big Good: Primus serves as this to the universe as a whole.
- Child Prodigy: Reed Richards, who built a rocket capable of travelling to the moon at 12.
- Composite Character:
- The biblical Cain takes on the traits of several different versions, most prominently the one from Vampire: The Masquerade but also including his incarnations from Spawn and SCP Foundation.
- Dracula is a combination of the versions of him from Vampire: The Masquerade, Castlevania, The Tomb of Dracula and Hellsing. The Dracula from Hotel Transylvania is his son.
- Primus from Transformers is the being worshipped by the Church of the Broken God.
- The Arashikage clan is composited with the Mugen Tenshin clan, with Storm Shadow being composited with Hayate from said clan. Meanwhile, the Blind Master is composited with Stick, and the Soft Master is composited with Zeku. And Snake Eyes himself is composited with Zeku's student Guy.
- Ryoma Nagare is composited with Chozen.
- The Dinosaur Empire and the Silurians are one and the same.
- The Deep ones are the same species as the Gill-Men.
- Atomic Robo is composited with The original Human Torch.
- The High is composited with Blue Marvel.
- Crossover Cosmology: There are references to Biblical, Aboriginal Australian, Greek, Chinese, Mesopotamian, Norse, and Egyptian Mythology, in addition to original gods from various series.
- Fantasy Kitchen Sink
- Kaiju: There are several of them in this cross, including the king himself, Godzilla.
- Kirby Dots: These represent an in-universe particle known as a Kirbon, which is the force particle of the Power Cosmic. They also play a part in the function of the Omnitrix and played a part in creating the Fantastic Four.
- Let's You and Him Fight: Being a crossover, this comes with the territory. The most notable example so far is the occasion when Ultraman battled Godzilla to keep him still long enough for Godzilla to be hit by a healing ray.
- Lost World: Played With regarding the Savage Land. While it is an unnatural relic of the Mesozoic located in Antarctica, it's actually a rather recent creation of the Dinosaur Empire.
- The Masquerade: One is present at the start of the main timeline, enforced by several organizations for a variety of motivations. It gradually gets broken by various events which are too public to cover up, like Superman's debut.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Crosses over more than a hundred different fictional series.
- N.G.O. Superpower: Gjallarhorn, a non-aligned military group, is one of the three major superpowers of the Solar System Era, alongside Earth and Mars.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: Jack Ryder is basically this universe's version of John Oliver.
- Related in the Adaptation:
- Nathaniel Richards, Reed's father in 616, is the younger brother of Randall Dowling from Planetary.
- The Vers family are descendants of Solomon Epstein.
- Mami Tomoe is the niece of Musashi Tomoe.
- The Revolution Will Not Be Civilized: The Jupiter Empire is by far the most brutal and extreme of the various Outer Planets Alliance groups.
- Sentient Cosmic Force: The Getter Rays, of course.
- Super Team: Several are present, including the big names like the Justice League and The Avengers, as well as a new team of younger heroes including Mark Grayson, Ben Tennyson, and Taylor Hebert.
