Kage Tsuki 88 / Tropers

If you are that willing to visit my profile, a small introduction is in order. Name's KageTsuki88, and I have been trapped in the hell that is Tv Tropes for a few years, tho my account is relatively new. I am an aspiring fanfic writer tho that's tentative at the moment. In terms of tropes, I fit the following:

Asian and Nerdy: I'm of Korean descent, and while I dislike playing up stereotypes, the nerdy part should be obvious given I'm on this damn site lol.
Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: I'm trying to focus, but not there yet chief. This site isn't helping much if my edit history is of any indication.
Big Eater: Thanks US.
The Cynic: I tend to gravitate towards this sometimes, although I do have my moments of idealism.
Does Not Like Spam: For some reason beyond my understanding, I used to not like eggs, but I've been growing out of it. For a more straightforward example, tofu.
Foreign Culture Fetish: Broadly speaking, I have one for American, Japanese, Italian, Greek, Ancient Greco-Roman, and German culture, although American may or may not count given I am an immigrant turned citizen of the States.
I Have Many Names: I go through a cycle of usernames over the years and if a site gives me the option to change it, I can and will if I am in the mood. Chances are that depending on what site you go to, it's possible you and I have already interacted.
Multi Ethnic Name: I won't say it outright for privacy reasons, but I do have one ever since I moved to the States.
Must Have Caffeine: Once I became old enough, caffeine became a very big part of my life, for better or for worse.
Parental Favoritism: Grandchild example. According to my mom, a reason why my paternal grandparents like me is because I am the only one of my parental cousins to inherit grandad's family name and am a guy.
The Quiet One: I'm not comfortable talking, especially for long periods and I'm a solitary person at heart.
Real Men Eat Meat: Hell yeah I do, although I gravitate towards Korean meat dishes.
Self-Deprecation: I am very willing to poke fun of myself, perhaps too willing.
Sir Swears-a-Lot: Swearing often leaks into my speech, although my upbringing as a Korean curbs this somewhat.
Sweet Tooth: I'm a sucker for sweets if I am able to.
Trademark Favorite Food: Besides meat and sweets, I love spicy food, alcohol (but I am a responsible drinker), and most known Korean dishes under the sun.

Pet Peeve Tropes of mine:

Asians Eat Pets, Asian Speekee Engrish, Ching Chong, Interchangeable Asian Cultures, Mighty Whitey and Mellow Yellow: Shouldn't be shocker given I openly said that I'm Korean. I consider Asian Speekee Engrish and Ching Chong to be something of an N Word Privilege at best for reasons you might understand.
Badass Normal: Maybe it's because of my own experiences, but I hardly see this trope used in a way I find satisfactory and only used for wanking purposes.
Ball Index tropes, although I have a particular dislike for Idiot Ball, Jerkass Ball, and Villain Ball.
Betrayal Fic and Hate Fic: While Accusation Fic and Revenge Fic are admittedly a Guilty Pleasure of mine, these two…… aren't. Adaptational Deviation and its various related tropes are one thing, but these two change things that just don't make much sense in my eyes and are ridiculous at best.
Bully and Wimp Pairing: Only if it's being played at a romantic angle because of my own personal beliefs. If it's not, I'm at worst neutral.
Demoted to Satellite Love Interest
Double Standards such as Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male and Double Standard Rape: Female on Male, especially if they are Played for Laughs. Maybe it's because I am a guy, but they're not funny nor should it be. My dislike for Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male admittedly plays into my general dislike for "harsh" tsunderes.
Easily Forgiven: I'm a believer that forgiveness has to be earned, and even then there is no obligation. Call me a cynic, but I believe that there are very few exceptions to this belief.
Gratuitous Japanese: I blame bad fanfics and fan subs/translations for my dislike of this among other Gratuitous Foreign Languages.
Idiot Hero
Loving Bully, Romanticized Abuse, Stalking is Love: Nope. Reeks of bad implications in my eyes, especially if the two ultimately become a couple.
The Stations of the Canon: At least in the context of fanfics with a For Want Of A Nail plotline, I dislike seeing repeat of the canon storyline. As I grew more accustomed to reading such stories, I see it as a sign of absolute laziness. In Spite of a Nail is one thing, but I've seen fanfics that balance that out with more original stuff.
