Studio Gallop (ぎゃろっぷ) is an Anime studio that (mainly) specializes in toyetic and Merchandise-Driven anime. Established in 1978, the company didn't really start animating until the early-mid eighties. Starting off as a subcontractor for TMS Entertainment and Studio Pierrot.
Compare (and contrast) Studio DEEN, Sunrise, the aforementioned TMS and Toei Animation, four anime studios with a habit of producing franchises that make tons of money. See also Dong Woo Animation, their South Korean subsidiary.

Tropes associated with Studio Gallop:
- Art Shift: The five episodes of Dirty Pair they animated resulted in a softer, more cartoony look for its characters.
- Merchandise-Driven: Kodocha (Which conveniently has its full Japanese title translate to Child's Toy), Yu-Gi-Oh and Transformers, all self explanatory.
