Main Characters
Danny Fenton
The title character of Danny Phantom who meets Katie on the same day she moves to Amity Park, and soon starts dating her.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: He's more patient and understanding with Katie here than in "The Many Dates of Danny Fenton" as he's willing to help her control her transformations.
- Affectionate Nickname: Katie calls him "Sweetie" and "Pookie-Bear".
- Amicable Exes: He and Katie ultimately decide to become Just Friends after breaking up.
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: He’ll even begrudgingly save jerks like the A-Listers.
- Embarrassing Nickname: Katie takes to calling him "Pookie-Bear", something he's not very comfortable with but lets her use to keep her happy.
- Everyone Has Standards:
- While Danny finds Katie beautiful, her clinginess and smothering make him increasingly uncomfortable to the point he loses interest in her.
- He hates Dash with every fiber of his being and can’t really think of a reason to save him, but doesn’t believe Dash deserves to be ripped apart by monster Katie. Danny still saves Dash, very reluctantly though. Later, he doesn’t deny Katie's point about Dash being a waste of space.
- Extreme Doormat: He unwittingly becomes one around Katie, first due to being overwhelmed by her strong personality and obsessive nature. Later, it's out of a desire not to trigger her monster form.
- Fatal Attractor: Attracts Katie, who turns into a hulking monster when angry.
- Fatal Flaw: His nervousness around girls. As Jazz puts it, because of his natural weakness around pretty girls, he was easily subdued by Katie’s stronger personality due to how clingy she is. This also made him see Katie as invincible and become terrified of her after discovering her powers despite being able to fight her beforehand. He gets over this later.
- Henpecked Husband: A boyfriend version. He is usually dominated by Katie's strong personality, and becomes overwhelmed by her obsessive love for him to the point of fearing her, even dreading the thought of ending up married to her one day.
- Lightning Bruiser: He’s strong enough to lift a school bus full of children with one hand, tough enough to survive a dragon ghost’s fire breath, and fast enough to outpace a space shuttle.
- Likes Clark Kent, Hates Superman: He is attracted to Katie's human form but is unaware that she and the monster he is fighting are one and the same.
- Lust Object: He becomes one towards Katie, though she does care for him for more sincere reasons.
- Nerds Are Sexy: Katie certainly thinks so.
- Nice Guy: Despite growing wary of Katie, he is still a decent person, and even offers to remain friends with Katie and help her control her powers at the end of the fic.
- No Guy Wants to Be Chased: He was originally flattered by Katie's infatuation with him, but has second thoughts when she gets clingy.
- Save the Jerk: He only rescues Dash from Katie because he doesn’t want her to feel bad for going too far.

Katie Kaboom
A former Animaniacs character who moves to Amity Park after her father loses his job at the movie studio. She was upset about the move, but soon meets Danny and falls madly in love with him.
- Abhorrent Admirer: She veers into this territory in her relationship with Danny. At first, Danny is flattered and very accepting of Katie being interested in him. As time goes on, her interest in him becomes more clingy and smothering, making him slowly stop being flattered and wanting to get as far away from her as possible.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: She's less temperamental and clingy toward Danny here than she was in "The Many Dates of Danny Fenton".
- Adaptational Wimp: Like Flower princess11's other fanfics, Katie lacks the immense shapeshifting abilities during her transformations that her canon counterpart had and simply turns into her big green monster form. She’s also this compared to other Flower princess11 fics, since in Many Dates, she was so strong that Danny couldn’t hurt her even with his Ghostly Wail. Here, he is able to punch her across an area and, after he overcomes his fear, curb-stomps both her and Tiffany at the same time.
- All Women Are Lustful: She falls really hard for Danny and it doesn't take long for her to smother him in hugs and kisses. She seems to get worse the longer they are together.
- All Love Is Unrequited: She falls in love with Danny very quickly, and while he likes her at first, it becomes a big turnoff for him as she grows more and more clingy.
- Amicable Exes: She and Danny ultimately decide to be Just Friends after breaking up.
- Arbitrary Skepticism: Despite living in Acmeville, she doesn't believe in ghosts until she sees one with her own eyes.

- Berserk Button: She gets mad over any trivial issue. To her credit, her encounter with Dash shows that she DOES try to mind her temper when she's out in town... but she nearly loses it after he pesters her and Danny.

- Bratty Teenage Daughter: Just like in canon, she isn't very easy for her parents to work with.

- Chivalrous Pervert: A Rare Female Example. She's very flirtatious and loves smothering her boyfriend Danny with kisses, but she's a genuinely decent person who's devoted to her boyfriend and prefers to wait until marriage to engage in sex.

- Cloud Cuckoolander: She is this by default, due to being from Acmeville.
- Comical Overreacting: Just like in canon, she loses her temper over any trivial issue a teenager can face and becomes a literal monster.
- Cute But Psycho: Danny sees her as this.
- Dogged Nice Girl: She is this towards Danny.
- Dude Magnet: She is considered to be a very cute and beautiful girl that Danny, Tucker, and even Dash find attractive.
- Everyone Has Standards:
- She may be a Stalker with a Crush towards him, but Katie takes offense at Danny thinking that she wanted to have sex with him, saying that she intends to save herself for her husband.
- She values a guy's personality over their looks as she's completely repulsed by Dash for being a dimwitted, oafish bully.
- She dislikes her cousin Tiffany but gets along well with the latter's husband, Mitch Meakly.
- Katie isn’t the nicest person around but she completely despises the A-Listers for being obnoxious snobs that bully others.

Tucker is at least willing to give her a chance, but Sam refuses to even do that much (though more due to her own feelings for Danny).

However, Katie is a Nice Girl despite her flaws and genuinely loves her boyfriend but is oblivious to how clingy she acts towards him, while Star is a snobby Beta Bitch who treats her boyfriend more like servant and is willing to ditch him for someone else.
- To Sam. Both are attractive girls with short tempers that have a strained relationship with their parents and are very clingy towards Danny. However, Sam is Danny’s childhood friend who is in complete denial about her feelings for him while Katie is new to Amity Park and is very open about her desire for Danny.
- Friendless Background: It’s been implied she didn’t have any friends at her old school because she was unpopular despite her good looks.

Katie's long-suffering parents, who deal with the brunt of her powers and outburst.

- Pushover Parents: They try to be good parents to their daughter, but her violent outbursts (and her monster form) always terrify them.
Tinker Kaboom
Katie's little brother, who doesn't share her powers.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: Katie sees him as this.
- Hereditary Curse: Averted. Unlike his sister, he does not turn into a monster since he's a boy and the curse only affects females in his family.
Tiffany Kaboom-Meakly
Katie's paternal cousin, who also has powers. She and Katie do not get along.
- All Women Are Lustful: She is just as amorous towards her husband as Katie is towards Danny.
- Comical Overreacting: She's an even worse case than Katie. She can get angry even if her tea is too hot.

Katie's ancestor and the direct cause of the family getting cursed.
- Asshole Victim: The family curse was to punish him after he left his original bride at the alter and ran off with another woman.
- Jerkass: Implied, since he did leave his fiancée at the alter for another woman.
- Posthumous Character: He is long dead by the time the story takes places.
- Runaway Groom: He ran off on his to-be wife on their wedding day.
- Strong Family Resemblance: He is stated to look a lot like John Kaboom, except with a beard and old-fashioned clothes of his era.
Patricia Kent/Patsy Kaboom
The first victim of the curse, Kevin Kent's granddaughter and Katie's ancestor.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: It's stated that her temper was just as bad as Katie's.
- Hereditary Curse: She was the first victim of the curse and ended up passing it onto her descendants.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Danny notes that she looked a lot like Katie when she was younger.
- Unwanted Spouse: It's heavily implied that she was this to her husband Nathaniel.
Villains
Vlad Masters/Plasmius
Danny's arch-enemy.
- Actually Pretty Funny: He finds it hilarious that Danny’s girlfriend Katie is the monster that’s been troubling him recently.
- Evil Is Petty: When he realizes that Danny wants to break up with Katie, Vlad does whatever he can to make her even more interested in Danny just to spite his enemy.
- Laser-Guided Karma: He kidnapped Katie and attempted to use her as a weapon. However, she ends up destroying his house and he gets tormented by the Warners as punishment for his actions.
- Locked Out of the Loop: He didn’t know that Katie was the monster he captured until Danny told him.
- Shipper with an Agenda: He sends gifts and love letters to Katie under Danny's name, in an effort to make him more miserable.
Pinky and The Brain
A duo of lab mice from Acme Labs who plot to take over the world.
- Affably Evil: Brain can be pretty polite and genuinely believes he can make the world a better place by conquering it.
- Berserk Button: Brain dismisses animal rights activists as idiots who embarrass themselves and the animals they think they're helping.
- Character Catchphrase: Pinky likes to say “Zort!”.
- Cloud Cuckoolander: Pinky is this in spades.
- Cloud Cuckoolanders Minder: Brain serves as this to Pinky since he doesn’t have the firmest grip on reality.
- Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Brain gets annoyed with Sam pitying the experiments performed on him.
- Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: Pinky divulges information about their secret lair to Danny, much to the Brain's chagrin
- Enemy Mine: They help Team Phantom find Katie when Vlad kidnaps her.
- Meaningful Name: Brain is as smart as his name implies.
- Minion with an F in Evil: Pinky helps Brain carry out his plans for world domination but doesn’t always do a good job of it, much to Brain’s annoyance.
- Not So Above It All: Brain scolds Pinky for taking the time to look at his show on a streaming service getting updated... before looking at it himself.
- Pet the Dog: They help Team Phantom find Katie to save her from Vlad.
- Sarcasm-Blind: Brain admits that sarcasm is practically a foreign language to Pinky.
- Shallow Cannot Comprehend True Love: They can’t understand what Katie likes about Danny.
- Smart Jerk and Nice Moron: Brain is the brilliant but egotistical Smart Jerk to the kindhearted but simpleminded Pinky’s Nice Moron.
- Too Dumb to Live: Pinky and the Brain keep asking Katie what she sees in Danny in spite of knowing how furious it makes her. Danny even comments on how that was a stupid thing to do for a guy named Brain.
- Villain Respect: Inverted. Danny admits Brain's plan to use him to overshadow the world leaders and control the planet from the shadows is a smart idea. Danny later compliments Brain on his intelligence for tracking down Katie after Vlad kidnaps her.
- Warts and All: Brain knows Pinky is a babbling idiot but still sees him as a good friend.
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: Brain wants to take over the world to improve it.
Casper High
Mr. Lancer
Danny's grumpy homeroom teacher.
- Adults Are Useless: Just like canon.
Dash Baxter
A popular football player who bullies Danny. He has an unrequited crush on Katie.
- Abhorrent Admirer: He has a crush on Katie, who can't stand him ever since they first met. She's immediately repulsed not just by his bullying but how rude, dumb, and obnoxious he can be.
- Asshole Victim: Danny hates Dash so he doesn't save him from Katie for his sake, but because he doesn't want her to feel bad for going too far.
- Attempted Homewrecker: He hits on Katie while she’s on a date with Danny but she just tells him to get lost since she can’t stand how much of a Jerkass he is.
- Attention Whore: He's always seeking to be the center of attention in some way. He also can’t stand anyone, especially Danny, getting more attention from attractive girls than him.
- Big Jerk on Campus: He's a star quarterback and the most popular guy at Casper High who likes picking on anyone he sees as weaker or less popular than him, especially Team Phantom.
- Blatant Lies: When he gets in trouble with security at the bowling alley for harassing Danny and Katie, he tries to lie his way out by saying he was trying to save Katie from a loser like Danny. The security guard doesn’t buy a word of it since he saw Dash push Danny and Katie already confirmed that Dash was harassing them so the Jerk Jock gets thrown out.
- Boisterous Weakling: He talks a big game but turns into a sniveling coward when confronted by actual threats like ghosts or a monster Katie.
- Book Dumb: He does not do well in school and needs nerds like Mikey to do his schoolwork for him so he can pass and stay on the football team.
- Bring My Brown Pants: Dash wets himself during Monster Katie's second attack on him, much to her disgust.
- Bullying a Dragon: He makes the mistake of antagonizing Katie.
- Card-Carrying Jerkass: He’s aware that he’s a bullying asshole and is proud of it.
- Casanova Wannabe: Doesn't have a chance with Katie even if she wasn't dating Danny, since she hates his guts with a passion.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: He’s a petty creep who can't stand any girl picking Danny over him, especially one as beautiful as Katie.
- Dirty Coward: Acts tough but shows how pathetic he truly is when dealing with Katie's monster form, including fainting and peeing himself.
- Dumb Blonde: Has blonde hair and is the dumbest guy in school.
- Dumb Jock: He's a football star who Katie and Team Phantom agree is a total moron.
- Dumb Muscle: He’s very muscular and the dumbest guy at Casper High.
- Entitled to Have You: As far as he's concerned, girls, especially pretty ones like Katie, are supposed to choose HIM over Danny and not the other way around just because he's a popular jock.
- Future Loser: Danny admits to Katie that Dash bullies people to make himself forget the fact that his life will go downhill after high school and he’s enjoying his glory days while they last. Katie finds it pathetic that Dash doesn’t even want to try to make something of himself.
- Hate Sink: Katie and Team Phantom have nothing but disdain for this insufferable prick.
- Hated by All: The A-Listers only hang out with him because of his popularity and Tucker lampshades how difficult it’ll be to find out who the monster that attacked Dash will be since the Jerk Jock has a LOT of enemies.

- Hopeless Suitor: Doesn’t have a chance with Katie even if Danny were out of the picture since she’s repulsed by his stupidity and Jerk Jock attitude.
- In Love with Looks: He's only interested in Katie for her beauty.
- Inferiority Superiority Complex: Team Phantom and Katie know he bullies others as some pathetic attempt to make himself feel big and important because he believes his life is going to go downhill after high school, so he uses that as an excuse to do whatever he wants until then.

- Insufferable Imbecile: His idiocy greatly annoys everyone around him, especially Katie and Team Phantom.
