  • Accidental Murder: When Eclipsa tries to block out the noise coming from Jack Fenton's music on the second night, it redirects the soundwaves right to where Masane and Helen Parr are standing, causing the location they were standing on to blow up.
  • A God Am I: David 8 believes that he can become a new God by spreading his creations, the Vorealiens, across the galaxy.
  • An Arm and a Leg: In the final chapter after Perfect Cell shoves an arm into Shirou's chest, Shirou rips that arm right off Cell. But because of Cell's regenerative abilities, it doesn't amount to anything.
  • Animorphism: On the first night Jack Fenton gets bitten by a Basky Bug and transforms into a MONKE.
  • Apocalypse How: As Perfect Cell explains to Celestia, he plans on going planet to planet, maybe having some fun before blowing them up, potentially leading to a X4 or X5 event.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: When introducing Shirou Ogami, he's described as the protector of Anima City, a detective, and a Rick Astley enthusiast based on what he wears.
  • Assurance Backfire: When Jack Fenton accidentally causes his team's chopper to go into freefall, he tries to reassure them by saying they only have a 70% chance of dying horribly in the crash, with the remaining percentage dictating they'll probably come out with half of their skeletal structures changed. Evangelyne doesn't find that to be very reassuring.
  • Attack the Tail: During Chi-Chi's fight with Lucia on the first day, she stomps on Lucia's tail, causing the demon's eyes to widen comically.

  • Back-to-Back Badasses: Hinata and Nicole end up doing this while fighting off a horde of Vorealiens on the third day.
  • Badass Boast: Played for comedy during the scene of Peg Pete attempting to seduce Perfect Cell, telling her not to ruin his catchphrase, stating he's the "Perfect Being that Kicks Perfect Ass, not 'has'."
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: On the second day as Oak is watching Rita cook some meat, he wishes he could get a piece of her ass, which he gets by Rita suddenly flying into him ass first with enough force to push him into a wall, crushing his skull.
    • On the third day Tila uses a mini-wish to get some canine cock, but when she gets it, she only gets the cock. It's also MASSIVE, and it traps her and Chi-Chi down.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Several of the contestants are saved by another contestant just before they were about to become a victim of the Vorealiens in the Bloodbath.
    • On the fourth day Tila saves Rinko from becoming a victim of a Ravager, but unfortunately gets killed in the process.
  • Big "NO!": Just before the Queen Vorealien devours Toriel, she lets out a panicked "Oh, God...NO!"
  • Big "SHUT UP!": After Izumi looks at what happened to Kiryu and Omni-Man after David 8's experiment failed, she says she's going to break out and show David 8 something, but he harshly tells her to "SHUT" before she can get her threat out.
  • Big "WHAT?!": David 8's reaction to Celestia's Solar Beam heading straight for his ship.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: After the King Vorealien smashes Laverne’s legs with its tail, she tells it to Get It Over With, bemoaning that she's been a bit player throughout this and began thinking the author ran out of uses of her.

  • Canon Discontinuity: Eclipsa's introduction is immediately followed up with "(THAT AWFUL SERIES FINALE NEVER HAPPENED)".
  • Clothing Damage: During the Bloodbath a Spitter's loogie hits Peg's shirt, causing it to burn. This pisses her off since according to her it cost her a whole hecking lot.

  • Collateral Damage: On the second day Erica was too close to Stolas' self-destruct spell and gets her head blown off.

  • Comfort Food: Eclipsa scarfs down some chocolate bars after the massacre she had witnessed in chapter 2.
  • Death by Genre Savviness: Scott Lang immediately knows how bad things will go if his team sets one foot on the planet with the Xenomorph lookalikes and warns his team about them. Naturally it's his team that's the quickest to get wiped out first.
  • Death Seeker: Following the disastrous date at Ozzie's, Stolas is in a depressive funk, even asking to become the first casualty of his team in the introductions. He eventually uses a self-destruct spell so he can go back home.

  • Dragon Ascendant: When David 8 leaves Xena to spread his creations across the multiverse, that's when Perfect Cell decides to betray David by blowing up the planet, making him the bigger and final threat Celestia has to face, with David's defeat being an afterthought more than anything.
  • Dragon with an Agenda: While Perfect Cell teams up with David 8, they have completely opposite goals: David is obsessed with creation and believes that spreading his creations will make him a new God, Cell believes he's the end of all things and wants to destroy all the planets one by one.
  • Dreadful Musician: The second night begins with Jack Fenton singing Don't Stop Believing to drive away the Vorealiens, with his singing sounding like this. While it is successful, it has the side-effect of many of the other contestants being unfortunate enough to hear it as well.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Her: Nami is the only casualty of the Bloodbath and the first of many to get eaten by a Vorealien.

  • Earth-Shattering Kaboom: To show that Perfect Cell doesn’t like it when someone tries to control him and show what he plans on doing to the galaxy at large, he destroys the planet Xena in the final chapter, killing every Vorealien except for the ones onboard David 8's ship.
  • Eaten Alive: Many of the contestants here die this way from falling victim to the Vorealiens.

  • I Need a Freaking Drink: Chapter 2 ends with Laverne wishing she had more gin on her to forget about the Tarkatan Vorealien she almost got killed by.
  • Interplay of Sex and Violence: The Vorealiens, who digest their victims in a sexual manner One notable case is when two Vorealiens eat Kanga in a way akin to a spit-roasting sex position.
  • Interrupted Intimacy: Chrysalis begins the introductions in a sour mood since she was transported right as she was about to enjoy making love with Celestia.
  • Instant Turn-Off: Twice in chapter 3, both times Jack Fenton being the cause of it. The first time is when a horny Evangeline finds Jack dry-humping an image of his wife made out of sand, shriveling up her libido. The second time is when The Lone Survivor can't have sex with Shirou due to the music Jack's playing ruining the mood.
  • Killed Offscreen: David 8 managed to capture Kiryu and Omni-Man offscreen and attempted to use them as templates for his Vorealiens, only for it to go wrong and kill them.
    • Peg Pete drowns in between the second night and third day while trying to avoid Jack's music by hiding in an aquatic cave.
    • The Predalien, at some point in chapter 5, captured Jack Fenton and attempted to use him as a template, only to reject him and stomp on his hollowed-out body.
    • The skeletons in the last chapter managed to kill The Lone Survivor, indicated by the bits and pieces of their armor on the skeletons.

  • Mood Whiplash: The first scene after David 8 wipes out a chunk of the contestants with his Vorealiens is a comedic scene of Perfect Cell trying to reject a horny Peg Petes advances.
  • My Significance Sense Is Tingling: After Stolas uses his self-destruct spell, Stella gets a sudden urge to laugh her ass off. She's not sure what came over her, but she assumes it was something important.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Cell does this twice in the last chapter: By destroying Xena it gets rid of a massive potential threat in the planet swarming with Vorealiens. And when Cell uses his Solar Kamehameha on Celestia, it knocks her into a nearby sun, which she uses its energy to power up and deliver a massive Solar Beam that wipes him, along with David 8 and his ship holding the remaining Vorealiens off the face of the universe.
  • No Body Left Behind: Nothing remains of Perfect Cell and everything onboard David 8’s ship with they're hit by Celestia's Solar Beam.
  • "No More Holding Back" Speech: Just before Celestia and Cell fight, Celestia tries to warn Cell against fighting her, going into a speech about how much she’s holding back. Cell at first opts to listen, thinking this could be fun. But when he remembers what happened the last time he underestimated an opponent, he tries to kill her then it there, only for her power to negate the attack.
Celestia: "You don't want this. You don't want me to unleash all of my pent-up frustration. To show you WHY I prefer to be called 'Princess' rather than 'Queen'."
    Perfect Cell: "Because of marketing?"
Celestia: "That's...partly the reason. But all my life...I've reminded myself that I live in a world of glass. That world is fragile. Easily destroyed. Every burst of passion I have, especially the negative ones, could destroy all that I know and love. The burden I've been given, that which involves power of the source of life itself...be thankful you don't have it."
Perfect Cell: "Wait a minute...this is all sounding familiar. Cool story, but..." shoots a Death Beam directly into her face, only for Celestia to get back up, her mane now glowing white-hot.
Celestia: "What we have here is the rarest opportunity...to see how powerful I really am."

  • Preasskicking One Liner: When Celestia is surrounded by a massive swarm of Vorealiens and talking them down is out of the question, Celestia says this as she prepares to fight them.
Celestia: "It brings me shame that your creator only made you so that you could destroy. In another life...you all could have found yourselves without having to listen to his blasphemy. But for now...I know what I must do. You have flown too close to the sun!"
  • Pre-Mortem One-Liner: When Shirou gets ambushed by a Ravager while fighting Perfect Cell, Cell decides to kill them with several Destructo-Discs, spouting this joke before throwing them:
Perfect Cell: "Bon appetite. Have some pizzas to go along with it."
  • Rape Is A Special Kindof Evil: As Chrysalis explains to Celestia at the end of chapter 3, the "love" she tastes from rape is the equivalent of dumping it in sewage. And getting love by sleeping with someone while pretending to be someone else results in 'love-whiplash', where the minute the victim finds out about the deceit, it results in the shame and self-loathing to severely damage the digestive systems.
  • Sequel Hook: After sending Celestia back to Equestria, Baskerra catches a glimpse of Mokushiroku heading to Hell. And as she gets onto a rocket, she considers trying zombies for next month's Arena.
  • Sex in a Shared Room: On the third night Rinko, Tila, Eclipsa, and Yasuko watch Chrysalis and Celestia having sex in a cave.

  • Shout-Out: Perfect Cell's Badass Boast of being the Perfect Being that Kicks Perfect Ass.
  • Skewed Priorities: All of Team 4 make it their goal to have sex with anyone they find attractive, even potentially the Vorealiens themselves. Oak is the only one of the team who questions if this is a good idea, thinking it's a little dangerous. Not that it stops him from wanting to sleep with Rita later on.
    • In the Bloodbath Jack Fenton considers bringing his family to the planet to go sailing, even as he’s fighting off the Vorealien horde and Erica and Terry, affected by the aphrodisiac, attempt to make love on the battlefield with Vanilla, with the vorealiens still surrounding them. Omni-Man flying past them pushes Erica and Terry away from Vanilla before they can go through with it.
    • In the final chapter, Cell accuses Celestia of being more concerned over why he destroyed the planet rather than how quickly he can do so.

  • Taken for Granite: Stolas turns a Spitter into a statue with his Deadly Gaze when it attempts to attack him.
  • Take That!: In A Fan's Team Introduction, the narration states that Rita isn't grasping that she’s talking to an actual horse, and then brings up that Loud House Movie that involved a dragon that we don’t talk about. And then Eclipsa's introduction is followed up with making it clear that the finale to Star vs. the Forces of Evil never happened.
    • When Perfect Cell is stuck listening to Jack Fenton's music, he finds it worse than what Limp Bizkit did to music in the 90s.
    • Just before Perfect Cell kills Rita, he makes a jab at Nickelodeon's infamous treatment of most of its properties by comparing himself to a Nick exec deciding what to do with a non-SpongeBob property. Ironically, The Loud House is one of the few Nick shows that got the complete opposite treatment.
    • The glitch The Lone Survivor suffers from in the last chapter, ERROR: 76.
  • Taking You with Me: In chapter 2, rather than be eaten by the Vorealiens, Bryan unpins two grenades, and he and Elrond leap into the Vorealien horde just as they go off, taking a chunk of them out.

  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: While Jack's idea of driving away the Vorealiens does work, it also results in the deaths of several contestants in their attempts to get away from the music.
  • Villain Forgot to Level Grind: How Baskerra credits Celestia's victory over Perfect Cell.
  • Villainous Rescue: David 8, not interested in mindless violence, teleports the remaining survivors out of the room with the Tarkatan Vorealien they were trapped in, particularly just as it was about to lunge at Laverne.
    • Perfect Cell saves Celestia from the Predalien that was about to kill her, believing her to be the warm-up he was waiting for.
  • Wham Episode: Chapter 2 reveals that David 8 is the one behind the creation of the Vorealiens, who then captures a good chunk of the contestants for his experiments, leading to over a quarter of them getting killed off.
  • Wingding Eyes: When Yasuko lands after being smacked into the air by Rita, her pupils begin spiraling to show the effects of her concussion.
  • The Worf Effect: David 8 managed to somehow capture Omni-Man and bring him to his lair for his experiments. Though the pile he left behind shows he did not go down easily.
  • You Are Already Dead: When Celestia makes a sword out of solar energy to fight the Tarkatan Vorealien, she makes several slashes in the air that seemingly miss the creature. But when the creature jumps at Celestia, he comes apart into cauterized pieces.
  • You Do NOT Want To Know: The author refuses to describe the Vorealiens tearing apart Poseidon Rex due to how gruesome it is.

Your Winner: Princess Celestia (A Fan's pick)
