Four Riders

    Kamen Rider 1

Naofumi Iwatani — Kamen Rider 1

The first Kamen Rider, he discovered Shocker by accident and stole vital cyborg technology from them to become a warrior who could stand against them.
  • Adaptational Angst Downgrade: Done on two levels. First he never suffers the injustice his canon counterpart did, so he's much more cheerful. Second, unlike Takeshi Hongo, he's never lamented becoming a cyborg (largely because it was his own choice).
  • Adaptational Origin Connection: Takeshi had been kidnapped by Shocker because they believed he was suitable for their new cyborg program. Naofumi stumbled onto Shocker's operations, then stole vital cyborg technology to fight them once he learned they were an evil orgnization.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The first ten episodes had his Rider form be known as just "Kamen Rider". It wasn't until Ren entered the story that titles for individual Kamen Riders were established.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "1! To defend humanity's freedom!"
  • The Leader: Of the Four Riders, and even for the Kamen Riders as a whole.
  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His Rider Shield is indestructible, but uses so much Rider Power to be such that he can't use his Full Charge form at the same time.
  • Mythology Gag: Later in the first story he gets a form called Full Charge that is taken from Kamen Rider 1.
  • Official Couple: He's been dating Raphtalia Midorikawa since before the story even starts. Later they get a Relationship Upgrade to Happily Married.
  • Power Fist: His Rider Shield can double as this, creating the Rider Shield Punch.
  • Transformation Trinket: Naturally he uses the Typhoon, a transformation belt.
  • What You Are in the Dark: When he first learned about Shocker's evil, he could have just run and hid, or tried to tell the authorities. Instead he decided to be proactive, stealing Shocker's own technology to use it against them.

    Kamen Rider 2

Ren Amaki — Kamen Rider 2

Kidnapped by Shocker in an effort to create a "Rider Killer" to destroy Naofumi, Ren is instead rescued during an operation against them and chooses to fight alongside Naofumi as the second Kamen Rider.
  • Adaptational Expansion: Hayato Ichimonji only said that Takeshi saved him from Shocker, and while we've no reason to doubt his words given both his and Takeshi's dispostions, we never see the event in question. Ren, on the other hand, is shown being saved by his girlfriend Eclair from a Shocker base the chapter before he debuts as Kamen Rider 2.
  • Bash Brothers: He quickly becomes a close friend and ally of Naofumi's to the point where he joins Naofumi in taking down Shocker across the world.
  • Cool Sword: His Rider Sword, a powerful blade that can slice through the toughest Shocker cyborgs.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "2! To use our powers for the cause of righteousness!"
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Shocker intended for Ren to be a "Rider Killer" that could stop Kamen Rider. Instead he becomes a Kamen Rider himself, creating a partnership with Naofumi that would thrash numerous Shocker schemes and open the way for more Kamen Riders down the line.
  • Official Couple: It's established early on that he has a relationship with Eclair.
  • Transformation Trinket: He's got his own Typhoon.

    Kamen Rider 3

Motoyasu Kitamura — Kamen Rider 3

A member of the Tachibana Racing Club, Motoyasu's hometown was destroyed by Shocker. While at first he fights alongside the Riders as a normal human, he eventually becomes a Kamen Rider himself to continue fighting in Japan while Naofumi and Ren fight Shocker overseas.
  • Adaptational Heroism: Not only is he genuinly heroic, but he no longer has a toxic relationship holding him back (to clarify, his girlfriend is still Malty, but she's undergone Adaptational Heroism herself).
  • Cool Car: His TriCyclone, a modified Mazda Eunos Roadster. It comes with wind intake for transforming while driving, mounted machine guns with ammo that can cut through solid steel, and it can even be remotely driven.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "3! To bring hope to the innocent!"
  • Low-Tech Spears: Unlike the rest of the Four Riders, Motoyasu's Rider Spear doesn't do much more than initiate a powerful Rider Thrust attack. Though at one point he did use it a makeshift pole vault for a unique Rider Kick.
  • Official Couple: With Malty. Put down the pitchforks, she's actually a good guy in this story.
  • Sole Survivor: He and Malty were the only survivors of a small town destroyed by Shocker. While he starts off seeking revenge, by the time he chooses to become a Kamen Rider himself he's determined to fight for justice, to insure Shocker can't destroy any more lives.
  • Transformation Trinket: He uses a Typhoon just like the other Four Riders.

    Kamen Rider 4

Itsuki Kawasumi — Kamen Rider 4

An FBI agent tasked with aiding the Kamen Riders, Itsuki is a powerful psychic who eventually chooses to modify his body into a cyborg to fight as a Kamen Rider alongside Motoyasu.
  • Adaptational Badass: Zigzagged. Itsuki from The Rising of the Shield Hero was a Level E esper with the ability to increase his own accuracy. Here, he is a much stronger psychic, with abilities like precognition (which he channels through tarot cards), extrasensory perception, telekinesis, and telepathy. He can also pilot the Sky Cyclone, his personal aircraft that comes equipped with various weapons like machine guns.
  • Adaptational Job Change: In canon, he was the Hero of the Bow. Here, he was an FBI agent who later chose to become a Kamen Rider to aid the other Kamen Riders.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Itsuki from The Rising of the Shield Hero was a narcissistic Attention Whore who pretended to be a Humble Hero purely for the fame that came with it, and of the Three Heroes, he was the only one who was outright abusive towards his party members. While he does eventually become humble for real, it took a very long time for him to do so because of his ego and self-righteous Knight Templar attitudes. Here, Itsuki is a completely nice guy from the get-go and becomes one of Naofumi's strongest allies, with his Psychic Powers helping the Kamen Riders more than once.
  • Adaptational Superpower Change: While his powerset is more or less similar to his canon counterpart's, he doesn't get the Cursed Bow of Pride (which allows him to outright brainwash people) or the Vassal Musical Instrument (which allows him to wield Magic Music). Instead, he gets the Rider Bow, which fires energy arrows.
  • Adaptational Weapon Swap: While he still uses bows and arrows like his canon counterpart, the changed setting means he doesn't get the canon Cursed Weapon series or the Vassal Musical Instrument. Instead, he gets the Rider Bow as part of his upgrade as Kamen Rider 4. He also throws tarot cards at his enemies when in a pinch.
  • Cool Plane: Rather than a ground vehicle, 4 pilots the Sky Cyclone, a modified Douglas A-1 Skyraider.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "4! To insure evil never gets its way!"
  • Psychic Powers: While still a psychic like his canon counterpart, he has a wider range of abilities like precognition, extrasensory perception, telekinesis, and telepathy. Canon Itsuki was an extremely weak esper who could only psychically increase his shooting accuracy.
  • Seers: Itsuki has full-fledged precognitive abilities, and he mostly uses tarot cards to channel his visions. This saved his life from Shocker's attempts to hinder, brainwash, or outright kill him a few times.
  • The Straight and Arrow Path: His Rider Bow can fire unlimited energy arrows, and can split in two for a weapon-based Rider Chop.
  • Transformation Trinket: His Typhoon belt, just like the other Four Riders.

Rider Duo

    Kamen Rider V3

Akira Fudo — Kamen Rider V3

A young man whose family is killed by Destron, he earns the respect of the Four Riders when he saves them from Great Leader's trap at the cost of his life. In exchange, they modify him to become a Kamen Rider like them and fight against Destron.
  • Adaptational Angst Downgrade: Zigzagged. While he does lose his family and most of his body to Destron's evil, it's still way better than everything that happened to him during DEVILMAN crybaby.
  • Adaptational Expansion: He showcases all of his 26 Secrets during the first part of the story, even finishing off both Doktor G/Crab Laser and Baron Tusk/Blood Mammoth using his V3 Flame Pillar Kick.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Raphtalia designed his 26 Secrets to be able to handle anything Destron might be able to throw at him.
  • Decomposite Character: In canon Amon had fused with Akira to become a Devilman. Here while Devilmen are possible, it's not feasible with cyborgs since devils can't assimilate technology, meaning Akira's body would have been torn apart. And devils are forbidden from causing any sort of injury to innocent humans.
  • Explaining Your Powers to the Enemy: A variation. He only does this the first time he showcases one of the attacks from his 26 Secrets, and even then only after he's used them to annihilate his foe.
  • Full-Conversion Cyborg: He notes that very little of his original body is left, just what is needed to maintain a human life (such as being able to eat or have kids). Even his brain is largely computer-based in order to keep his enhanced strength in check.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "I bear the legacy of heroes! Kamen Rider V3!"
  • Flight: He can indefinitely borrow Amon's wings to take to the sky. Once he trains in this power it allows him to easily handle the Wing Corps.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: The end of DEVILMAN Crybaby saw Akira/Amon lose his life against Ryo/Satan. Here he manages to completely dismantle Destron and save the world.
  • Transformation Trinket: His Double Typhoon, which holds more power due to drawing from two additional Riders.
  • What You Are in the Dark: After the Four Riders made it clear that they wouldn't turn Akira into a Kamen Rider so he could take his revenge, he still took the opportunity to save them from Great Leader's trap. That convinced them to turn him into their successor in Japan while they tackled Destron worldwide.

    Kamen Rider Arms

Ryo Asuka — Kamen Rider Arms

A former Destron scientist and adopted son of Great Leader, Ryo is betrayed by Marshal Armor and defects from Destron. After losing his arm, he has his body modified to fight as a Kamen Rider, eventually joining forces with Akira.
  • Adaptational Expansion: Like V3, Arms gets to showcase all of his known Cassette Arms from Kamen Rider media.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Joji Yuki's Rider form is known as Riderman, but Ryo takes a more traditional Rider name as Kamen Rider Arms.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Like Joji Yuki, Ryo loses his right arm to sulfuric acid courtesy of Marshal Armor.
  • The Atoner: He spent his life thinking Great Leader would lead the world to a Golden Age. When he learns the true evil of his adoptive father, he pulls a Heel–Face Turn and sides with Akira to fight Destron.
  • Decomposite Character: While Satan is noted to exist in this universe, it's not Ryo. In fact, Ryo is very much human in this story.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Akira is understandably skeptical of Ryo at first, but once Ryo proves himself the two become close as brothers.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "I am Kamen Rider Arms, here to atone for my wretched past!"
  • Revenge: While he aids Akira in destroying Destron for both justice and atonement, he does have a personal vendetta against Marshal Armor, and for good reason.
  • Transformation Trinket: His Rider Helmet, which forms the rest of his armor once he dons it.

Battlefront Riders

    Kamen Rider X

Yuzuru Otonashi — Kamen Rider X

Reincarnated after having died in a subway crash, Yuzuru is now the son of a prominent scientist. When his father is attacked and killed by GOD, he chooses to become a Kamen Rider implanted with advanced cyborg technology.
  • Adaptational Angst Downgrade: He goes through the exact same problems that Keisuke Jin does, yet not once does he let it cause him grief. This allows his father Keitaro to remain in the story as Mission Control.
  • Adaptational Badass: Implied. Keisuke had to go through an Emergency Transformation due to the sudden attack by GOD, meaning his cyborg body was largely cobbled together. By comparison, the Kamen Rider Battlefront made sure Yuzuru's cybernetics were more sophisticated and better assembled.
  • All Your Powers Combined: He possesses a device called the Synchro Drive, which is linked to the biometrics of most of the Kamen Rider Battlefront (the only exceptions being the members that are actually Kamen Riders) and let's him make use of their special skills. It gets even stronger once he obtains the Mercury engine.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "I am the X-factor that will wreck evil's plans! Kamen Rider X!"
  • Morph Weapon: His Ridol Whip can change into a staff with the press of a button.
  • Official Couple: The story picks up from the cliffhanger at the end of Angel Beats!, with Yuzuru and Kanade finding each other and quickly forming a relationship, having remembered their time in the afterlife high school.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Ridol, which comes with the Redizer and Perfector to maintain his cybernetics.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: He's only destroying the inhuman GOD monsters because they're terrorizing humans without remorse. As he explains to one young kid, even robots can have feelings and consider their creators to be their parents.

    Kamen Rider Angel

Kanade Tachibana — Kamen Rider Angel

Having learned that in her last life the reason she died in spite of a heart transplant is due to GOD shutting down the power to her hospital, Kanade chooses to become a Kamen Rider and fight alongside her boyfriend Yuzuru.
  • Crossover Relatives: She's Tobei's daughter in this story.
  • Flight: In this series she's the first Kamen Rider (of several) who are able to fly thanks to her Grand Wing.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "I am the true messenger of the Heavens! Kamen Rider Angel!"
  • Make Some Noise: She can stun enemies using her Howling ability.
  • Morph Weapon: Her Hand Sonic, which has five different forms.
  • Pretender Diss: As her intro states, she considers GOD to be nothing like true Heavenly beings.
  • Official Couple: She becomes Yuzuru's girlfriend at the beginning of the story.
  • Original Character: More like Original Rider, as Kamen Rider Angel is the first Kamen Rider made specifically for the series.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Angel Player, a belt with a wing motif.

    Kamen Rider Life

Hideki Hinata — Kamen Rider Life

In his previous life, Hideki's baseball career was cut short due to drug usage followed by a traffic accident that claimed his life. He's eager to redeem himself and stop GOD, the ones who supplied the drugs, by becoming a Kamen Rider to fight against them.

    Kamen Rider SSS

Yuri Nakamura — Kamen Rider SSS

Yuri had always know GOD was her enemy, she just didn't learn the context until her second life. Now knowing the reason behind her younger siblings' murder in her past life, she becomes a Kamen Rider to finally take the fight to the enemy she was always destined to battle.
  • All There in the Manual: The author notes for the chapter where SSS is introduced confirms it's meant to be pronounced like "assess".
  • Butterfly of Transformation: A moth, actually, but the two species are similar, and SSS is a moth-themed Henshin Hero.
  • Flight: Like Angel she has wings that are fully capable of granting her flight.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "I stand on the front lines of battle! Kamen Rider SSS!"
  • Morph Weapon: Her wings can change into both an Energy Weapon (the Moth Laser) and Battle Boomerang (the Mothrang).
  • Mythology Gag: The SSS stands for Shinda Sekai Sensen (Afterlife Battlefront), the name Yuri eventually settled on for her "freedom fighters" back in the afterlife.
  • Original Character: Kamen Rider SSS is an original Rider concept made for the series.
  • Seldom-Seen Species: While moths are a common motif among villains due to their association with darkness, it's rare to see a hero (even an insect-themed one like Kamen Rider) have such a motif. And yet SSS is indeed moth-themed.
  • Transformation Trinket: She uses a Cool Mask called the Metamorpher to transform.

    Kamen Rider Eyez

Ayato Naoi — Kamen Rider Eyez

Finally having a life to call his own, Ayato has no intention of letting GOD ruin it by destroying his country. So he takes his hypnotic powers to the next level by becoming a Kamen Rider alongside his fellow Battlefront members.

Rider Pack

    Kamen Rider Amazon

Ken Kaneki — Kamen Rider Amazon

Raised in the Amazon jungle from infancy, Ken becomes the guardian of the mighty GiGi Armlet and is sent to Japan to fight against Geddon. To become strong enough to face them, his mentor uses a special surgery to make him half-ghoul, allowing him to make full use of the GiGi Armlet's power as a Kamen Rider.

    Kamen Rider Omega

Touka Kirishima — Kamen Rider Omega

Born a ghoul, Touka is used as the source of Ken's half-ghoul nature, becoming half-human in the process. She eventually becomes Ken's mate, sharing his power to become a Kamen Rider as well.
  • Canon Immigrant: Kamen Rider Omega isn't even from the mainstream Kamen Rider series, instead being from the spin-off Kamen Rider Amazons.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "I have become Amazon's mate! I am Kamen Rider Omega!"
  • Mundane Luxury: Turning half-human due to the mystical surgery used to empower both her and Ken lets her eat normal food. She actually cries Tears of Joy just from being able to eat toast.
  • Official Couple: She quickly finds herself falling in love with Ken, and it's not long before the two become mated.
  • Transformation Trinket: Hers is the Amazon Driver, a more traditional belt buckle.

    Kamen Rider Alpha

Nishiki Nishio — Kamen Rider Alpha

A ghoul who underwent a surgery similar to Ken's, Nishiki underwent training in the Amazon and used that time to gain the power of a Kamen Rider. He traveled to Japan to help Ken and Touka during the rise of the Garanda Empire.
  • Arch-Enemy: Briefly with Mushroom Beastman.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: He and Sigma show up half-way through the story, just as Amazon and Omega are finishing off Geddon. They don't join forces until the Garanda Empire makes its own appearance.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Heated by the jungle's power! Kamen Rider Alpha!"
  • Hot-Blooded: To the point where he briefly clashed with the 00 Riders over fighting Jishaku.
  • Transformation Trinket: He has an Amazon Driver, but designed more as an armlet.

    Kamen Rider Sigma

Hideyoshi Nagachika — Kamen Rider Sigma

Nishiki's partner who underwent the surgery that left both of them half-ghoul and half-human. He joins Nishiki in traveling to Japan as a Kamen Rider to help in the fight against the Garanda Empire.

00 Riders

    Kamen Rider Stronger

Joe Shimamura — Kamen Rider Stronger

Cyborg 009, created by the Black Ghost organization, Joe learns it was only a small part of the larger Black Satan society. To fight them, he allows his body to be strengthened with powerful electrical abilities, becoming a new Kamen Rider in the process.

    Kamen Rider Tackle

Francoise Arnoul — Kamen Rider Tackle

Cyborg 003, Francoise decides she's had enough of not being able to fight like the rest of the 00 Cyborgs, and allows her body to be empowered with incredible magnetic energy to fight alongside Joe as a Kamen Rider.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Instead of going by Denpa Ningen(Electric Wave Humanoid), she chooses to take on the mantle of Kamen Rider.
  • Dance Battler: Fitting since she used to perform ballet.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "My graceful dance strikes down evil! Kamen Rider Tackle!"
  • Magnetism Manipulation: Her new power as opposed to the electric waves her canon counterpart could wield.
  • Official Couple: She and Joe are confirmed to be a couple in this story.
  • Super-Senses: Her eyes and ears act like enhanced radar, and with her modifications they can no longer be overwhelmed.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Getting tired of Joe nearly dying on her multiple times, she demands to be allowed to become a Kamen Rider like him. The previous Riders agree, improving her cybernetics well beyond what Black Ghost originally intended.
  • Transformation Trinket: She's given one called the Magnoid, which is designed to look like Canon!Tackle's belt buckle.

    Kamen Rider Stream

Jet Link — Kamen Rider Stream

Cyborg 002, Jet intended to aid in the fight against Black Satan. But by the time his body could be strengthened with powerful gravity abilities, Black Satan was already defeated. Luckily, he was able to join the fight against the Delza Army as a Kamen Rider they hadn't expected.
  • Artificial Limbs: Like in canon, his legs have been heavily modified with rockets that allow him to fly.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Riding the highway of the skies! Kamen Rider Stream!"
  • Flight: Naturally he has this, since his cybernetic legs are fitted with rocket boosters.
  • Gravity Master: He can manipulate gravity to make his enemies heavier or keep himself in the air for longer.
  • Late to the Action: He was intending to help deal with Black Satan, but by the time he showed up the battle against them was largely over, with only Dead Lion and Great Leader keeping things running.
  • Spanner in the Works: His appearance came outside of the Delza Army's predictions, making it easier to deal with them.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Graviton, a belt buckle designed similarly to his teammates.

    Kamen Rider Arsenal

Albert Heinrich — Kamen Rider Arsenal

Cyborg 004, Albert's body was already largely machine, making it easy to modify his body with a plethora of weapons capable of destroying the Delza Army as well as a powerful atomic reactor to power them. He becomes a Kamen Rider to aid in his friends and battle this dangerous enemy.
  • Atomic Superpower: He's powered by an atomic reactor and can supercharge his attacks by overclocking.
  • Full-Conversion Cyborg: Like in canon only Albert's nervous system is organic, the rest of his body being machine-based.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "I am the one-man artillery corps! Kamen Rider Arsenal!"
  • Tank Goodness: He drives the Atomic Panzer, a modified Panzer tank that is much smaller and doesn't have a turret, since his Rider suit already has one.
  • Transformation Trinket: His is called the Atomizer.
  • Walking Arsenal: Very little of his organic body is left, allowing him to be heavily modified with a number of weapons.

Skyriders

    Kamen Rider Sky

Ganta Igarashi — Kamen Rider Sky

During a vacation with his family, he learns that someone has killed his classmates earlier that morning. Hearing that someone wanted him framed for the incident to be sent to Deadman Wonderland, and with the evil Neo Shocker having killed his family, Ganta chooses to become a Kamen Rider to fight and discover the truth of who ruined his life.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Goes by Kamen Rider Sky instead of being called Skyrider.
  • Clear My Name: Surprisingly averted. Despite the Frame-Up attempt to get him into Deadman Wonderland following the murder of his classmates, the fact that he was on vacation at the time gives him a solid ailibi, so there's no need for him to clear his name.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Sailing over the silver-lined clouds! Kamen Rider Sky!"
  • Finger Gun: He has a blood-based shot fired from his fingers called the Ganbare Gun, which he can use even when not transformed. It later upgrades to the more powerful Ganbare Gatling.
  • Flight: Natch, since in canon Skyrider was the first Kamen Rider who could fly.
  • Transformation Trinket: His Tornado belt buckle.

    Kamen Rider Guard

Kiwako Makina — Kamen Rider Guard

A former prison guard at Deadman Wonderland, Kiwako quit her post when she learned of her superior's connection to Neo Shocker and warned Ganta about the attempt to frame him. She starts up the Private Eye in the Sky Agency to help Ganta take on cases that could lead to dealing with Neo Shocker's kaijin, and later obtains her own powers as Kamen Rider Guard.
  • Defector from Decadence: She used to be a prison guard at Deadman Wonderland, but decided to quit after learning the warden was connected to Neo Shocker.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: She's a strong fighter all on her own, but she becomes nearly unstoppable when she turns into Kamen Rider Guard.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Patrolling for crime and protecting the weak! I am Kamen Rider Guard!"
  • Shock and Awe: She can use her Shock Guard technique either defensively to ward off attacks or offensively to hit opponents with a powerful taser burst.
  • Super Cop: Her motif as Guard is that of a patrol officer, including having a modified Kawasaki for her Rider Machine (Kawasaki motorcycles are the standard for police patrol bikes).
  • Transformation Trinket: She uses a folding badge called the Patrol Badge to transform.

    Kamen Rider Blood

Shiro Tamago — Kamen Rider Blood

The Deadman responsible for the murder of Ganta's classmates, Shiro found herself regretting her actions more than she thought when Ganta destroyed the Neo Shocker kaijin using her as a power source. After being released from prison due to government intervention, she came to the Private Eye in the Sky Agency to make amends. Eventually, Tobei is able to obtain a device intended to empower Deadmen, and modifies it so that Shiro can fight evil as a Kamen Rider to make up for her past.
  • Anti-Climax: As the one responsible for the deaths of Ganta's classmates, you'd think she wouldn't show up until the very end of the story. She was the very first Deadman to get hit with backlash after Ganta killed his first kaijin, and joined the team just over ten chapters later.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: A mosquito-themed female Kamen Rider associated with blood? Thematically appropriate.
  • Blood Iron: Her finishing move is the Blood Iron Kick, which uses the iron in her own blood to disrupt a kaijin's cybernetic systems and causes them to explode.
  • Bloody Murder: Like all Deadmen she can use her blood as an offensive weapon, in her case as powerful tendrils that are strong enough to break apart stone.
  • Good Is Not Soft: She's a downplayed Psycho Supporter, and while she does now realize that killing anyone in Ganta's life to make less "obstacles" is wrong, she's still willing to kill anyone who threatens Ganta's life without reason. This actually ruins Hebinger's scheme to curse Ganta for something he didn't do, as the whole plan relied on Kamen Riders being too much of a Nice Guy to harm any creature that's clearly not evil.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Kamen Rider Blood! Feel my rage unchained!"
  • Named by the Adaptation: In-universe, she gives herself the last name Tamago based on the scientists at Deadman Wonderland calling her "The Wretched Egg".
  • Not Quite Flight: She can hover using her Oscillation ability, which has the added benefit of stunning kaijin.
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: In spite of her sudden change of heart, she still has a burning fury inside her that begs her to kill. So she directs it straight at Neo Shocker.
  • Seldom-Seen Species: Her Rider armor is modeled after a mosquito, an insect not normally associated with heroics.
  • Sensual Spandex: After Tobei complains about her Nude-Colored Clothing, she changes into a red biker jumpsuit that still shows off her curvy figure.
  • Ship Tease: She admits to having had feelings for Ganta for a while, at one point even going to Yandere levels, though she's since toned it down.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Deadman Switch, originally a device to empower Deadmen that was modified to allow a Rider-based transformation.

    Kamen Rider Ground

Yoh Takami — Kamen Rider Ground

A former prisoner of Deadman Wonderland, having been previously convicted of multiple thefts. He originally wanted to earn enough CP, the currency of the prison, to buy off his sister's sentence. But since she's a Deadman, that wasn't an option. When he learns of Kamen Rider Sky and how his destroying kaijin reverts Deadmen to the point they can no longer be held at the prison, Yoh instead buys off his own sentence, taking Shiro with him to seek out Ganta's help. After Ganta gains his power-up, the excess energy is used to turn Yoh, who had become a trusted confidant, into a new Kamen Rider with powers opposite to Sky.
  • Fast Tunneling: Just as Sky can effortlessly fly through the air, Ground can easily burrow into the earth with his Tunneling Jump.
  • Foil: Deliberately made one to Ganta, being a Kamen Rider of the earth instead of the air.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Lying below the sacred earth! Kamen Rider Ground!"
  • Kleptomaniac Hero: He's a nice guy but he was legitimately convicted of stealing, and still has enough skill to pick someone's pocket without them noticing.
  • Passing the Torch: When Ganta gains his permanent Mid-Season Upgrade, Yoh's new form as Kamen Rider Ground looks like Sky's original appearance, showing he's inherited a portion of that power.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Rumbler, a rebranded Tornado.

    Kamen Rider G

Soma Yukihira — Kamen Rider G

A wandering expert chef who was trained by Akira Fudo, Soma has actually been a Kamen Rider for some time prior to joining up with the Skyriders, having been fighting against Neo Shocker almost since the beginning and having been responsible for taking out a number of their bases. He comes to Japan not only to help Ganta and his team, but to work as a chef at Tobei's new Cozy Cavern Diner.
  • Ascended Extra: The form of Kamen Rider G was part of a one-shot special whose only connection to Kamen Rider continuity is a brief cameo from Kamen Rider Decade. Here G is part of the main Rider Corps.
  • Boring, but Practical: Unlike many other Riders he doesn't use fancy gimmicks or abilities, relying purely on his enhanced strength to handle bad guys.
  • Chef of Iron: Not only is he a Supreme Chef, but he's a powerful Kamen Rider that fights for justice.
  • Chick Magnet: Both Alice and Ikumi admit to liking him, and Erina Nakiri is almost mentioned by way of the two girls noting her own feelings for Soma.
  • Experienced Protagonist: He's already been fighting Neo Shocker for months prior to his debut, having been a Kamen Rider at least as long as Ganta.
  • Extremity Extremist: Subverted. He mostly fights with his legs to keep his hands safe for cooking, but does use high-powered punches for special moves when his opponent is on the ropes.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Kamen Rider G! Here to serve up justice! Bon appetite!"
  • Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: As far as his cooking's concerned. To any human who tries his Impossibly Delicious Food, they quite literally get their socks knocked off (and the rest of their clothes). But Kamen Riders have differently wired brains in order to handle their immense power, so while they still find his cooking delicious, it doesn't quite have the same impact.
  • O.C. Stand-in: For GanGan G, Soma being more light-hearted than the other Riders while also being more competent than the bumbling would-be hero.
  • Spanner in the Works: He keeps the team's energy reserves topped off with high-calorie snacks on the go, which completely wrecks Abunger's scheme to drain Sky's energy reserves in order to defeat him.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Vintage, a small wine bottle that holds some form of energy and needs to be popped open with a simple cork remover attached to his belt.

Bebop Riders

    Kamen Rider Super- 1

Spike Spiegel

An astronaut in training, Spike became part of a cyborg experiment to create a superhuman that could withstand space travel well beyond the Sol System. After the Dogma Kingdom attacks and destroys the research center that made him, he fights against them using the code name of the project, Super-1.

    Kamen Rider Heart

Faye Valentine

One of three young women chosen to join Spike on a journey through space, Faye was changed into a cyborg that can ehance other cyborgs. She joins the team to fight against Dogma.
  • Adaptational Heroism: She's less of a Femme Fatale in this story, and far less shady in her motives.
  • Age Lift: Since in this story she was never cryo frozen, she her actual age matches her physical age.
  • Combat Medic: She's just as strong as her fellow Riders, but can also use the Heart Healing power on her allies or herself.
  • Heart Symbol: Used for her motif as a Kamen Rider.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "My heart beats with burning hot passion! Kamen Rider Heart!"
  • Support Party Member: While she is capable of fighting at the same level as the other Bebop Riders, her primary role is to empower the others, usually during a finishing attack.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Doki Driver, a play on the Japanese onomatopoeia for a heartbeat.

    Kamen Rider Bang

Julia Wainright

The second young woman chosen to accompany Spike on his journey to another planet, she was modified for long-range combat and scouting. Like the others, she battles against the Dogma Kingdom for the sake of Earth.
  • Arm Cannon: Most of her long-range attacks are fired from her gauntlets and gloves.
  • Ascended Extra: The only thing we knew about her in canon was that she was a former lover of Spike and supposed to be married to Vicious. We didn't even know her last name. She actually gets more screentime and a last name in this story.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: Her motif is target sights, showing her specialization in long-range abilities.
  • Blade Below the Shoulder: She's not limited to just long-range. If an enemy gets close she can activate her Shot Daggers, which emerge from her armor's gauntlets.
  • Fighter, Mage, Thief: The Thief of the group, due to her long-range abilities and scout skills.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "My straight shot will hit your target! Kamen Rider Bang!"
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Unlike canon she doesn't get killed.
  • Transformation Trinket: The Bull Up, named after a darts slang term and keeping with the theme of targets and firearms.

    Kamen Rider ZX

Electra Ovilo

The final member of the team, and another young woman modified for space travel to accompany Spike through space. She also chooses to fight against Doma when they threaten the Earth.
  • Adaptational Origin Connection: While she did have some Ship Tease with Spike in canon, it never really went farther than a bit of flirting from both of them. Here she gets way closer to Spike.
  • Ascended Extra: She only showed up in the movie for Cowboy Bebop. Here she gets way more screen time. Also applied to the ZX form, since it was only ever used for a Poorly Disguised Pilot that never got off the ground.
  • Boring, but Practical: Her only power is enhanced combat ability and Super-Strength, along with a few weapons that have practical abilities. Which is all she really needs to win a fight.
  • Fighter, Mage, Thief: Definitely the Fighter of the group, since her only ability is pure combat with a few basic weapons.
  • Gender Flip: Sort of. Electra is obviously not the ZX from canon, but since she's a woman while the original was a man this trope still applies by default.
  • In the Name of the Moon: "Behold the world's strongest woman! Kamen Rider ZX!"
  • Transformation Trinket: Like in canon she uses the ZX Belt.
