SALVAGE SANDBOX

Nightelf37

IMPORTANT NOTES TO SELF:

0) When you make a post, have only 1 profile if it's really long (10 note bullets or more, including 2nd and 3rd tier). If you got other stuff to say, you can post only 1 profile (less than 10 bullets, including 2nd and 3rd tier).
1) Don't create deities whose titles play with tropes!
2) Warn tropers beforehand before you modify titles to your style in their sandboxes. If you're not sure of the gender or how to word the trope, LEAVE IT BE, no matter how awkward the page would now look!
3) Do not make templates before the troper wants it to, not even hidden ones.
4) Reservations for candidates for tropes are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Any hopes to claim another's is all up to the troper. And there are some, like r-lock256, who are territorial about it in regards to specific tropers such as myself.
5) There's no need to repost a profile just before ascending them.
6) Make sure you do the research if you wish to work on a deity.
7) Don't notify others of what you've posted last page. Nobody gives a damn.
8) As long as you have enough [tup]s, you may take your time in ascending your profiles.
9) Profile reworks that add characters or merge profiles can be posted in the main thread.
10) Stop doing long drawn out suggestions about something and later post two long ass profiles and constantly repeat it over and over again until someone listens. It's annoying, a waste of space and makes it less likely for someone to notice you. It can even make others think you are a bot instead of a regular person.
11) Long posts makes it more likely for others to outright ignore you. So if you have a long profile to post, your post should not have a second profile.
12) Make sure your profile is updated before you post a profile again.
13) The mods have marked you for your misconduct. Keep on the straight and narrow from now on or risk expulsion.
14) Two profiles with a maximum of ten flavour texts is advised for a single post with minimal other questions/comments. Any longer, and only one is allowed. Other questions/comments risk getting lost if shafted with two profiles.
15) Single sentences must not be too short, lest they be regarded as too generic in content.

Thumbs-up regulations for profiles

  • For ascending a new deity:
    • 1 or 2 thumbs-ups = Same as 0 thumbs-ups; not ready yet, but you know now that someone thinks it's ready.
    • 3 thumbs-ups = Ascend within a week. Repost tomorrow. If you get a thumbs-up after that, ascend in 2 days (or immediately if you get two). Else, repost in 4 days. If you get a thumbs-up after that, ascend immediately.
    • 4 thumbs-ups = Ascend in 3 days.
    • 5 thumbs-ups = Ascend immediately.
  • For ascending a dominion/treasure:
    • 1 thumbs-up = Ascend within a week. Repost in 4 days.
    • 2 thumbs-ups = Ascend in 3 days.
    • 3 thumbs-ups = Ascend immediately.

    Treasure Classification System

  • Class 6: No known notable effects directly caused by it, in the Treasury for symbolic importance or other reasons, safe for use. Any Treasure that is otherwise an ordinary object that can technically be found in the real world such as The Art of War is considered a Class 6 despite the lessons it imparts that can lead to real damage from warfare.

  • Class 5: Capable of affecting an individual in some form or another, such as through giving them superhuman abilities, inducing memory loss, or killing them. Any corrosive type of weapon, trinket or strong material such as Vibranium is given this designation. Any normal Behelitnote  is considered a Class 5 object.

  • Class 4: Capable of causing a localized group of people or an entire settlement to be heavily affected, effects (positive or negative) can spread further if left unchecked, bearing the risk of becoming a Class 3 threat. Has possible mild reality-warping effects. The Death Note can be counted as a Class 4 for being able to remotely kill people via writing their names, as can the Crimson Behelit for transporting the entirety of Guts and company to the site of the Eclipse for sacrifice. Power-boosting objects such as Aghanim's Scepter are considered Class 4 as well.

  • Class 3: Can affect society on a large-scale, cause complete structural and societal collapse of a species or mass environmental effects. This can range from destroying a city (Godzilla-levels of damage) to the mass enlightenment of the human species. The treasure in this case is likely to have reality-bending effects. A standard large nuclear warhead would be considered a Class 3 object, though a Class 2 threat would be apparent if nuclear armageddon like Judgement Day happened. Objects capable of giving a user control over abstract concepts like magic and time often begin here.

  • Class 2: Treasures capable of affecting planets and the areas around it, at most an entire galaxy, such as through the destruction of a planet or terraforming a planet into metal or waste material. Galaxy-wise, this can also abound from the complete freezing of a galaxy in time or transferring it into a pocket universe. Basically, the effects can range from planetary to stellar to galactic-scale. Expect treasures from this point to be considered extremely powerful, if not the most powerful, objects in their home universe. Since they are able to be used to wish for resurrection, immortality or the complete destruction of a planet though with limitations on the part of the wishing dragon, the Earth and Namekian Dragon Balls are considered Class 2 objects, though the Super Dragon Balls constitute Class 0 objects.

  • Class 1: Reality warping objects capable of causing positive or negative effect to an entire universe. These artifacts are almost always full-on Reality Warpers, able to cause universe-ending events such as plunging it into blackness or wiping out half of the universe's population. Objects affecting the flow of abstract concepts or traverse it such as time machines and dimensional travel portals are considered Class 1, no matter how benevolent or Played for Laughs they may seem, due to the inherent dangers they present. Just look at Back to the Future Part II.

  • Class 0: Reality warping objects capable of affecting an entire multiverse and at worst (or best depending on the nature of the object, but it's often worst), the entire fictional Omniverse. Only a few objects are capable of causing such effects on the cosmic scale, and are almost always reserved for Maximum Security. This may likely be brought about by representing an abstract concept of creation or having no otherwise stated limits in their respective stories. The Anti-Life Equation is at least capable of causing the complete subjugation of all beings in the universe, the ultimate goal of Darkseid, but in the hands of its true wielder, the Anti-Monitor, it is almost certain that a Class Z event will occur and result in the ontological annihilation of absolutely everything.

  • Some notes:
    • Being a Class 5 artifact does not denote that it is weak or insignificant compared to the others. Some well-known ones like the Holy Grail are Class 5! This merely means that their effect is limited to one individual or their effects are less impactful on the cosmic state of the universe.
    • Since the SCP Foundation is in charge of documenting the Treasures in the Vault alongside Turaga Whenua, the Treasures are also listed by the Foundation's object classes, though only with their primary classification. Class 6 objects are equivalent to Safe-class SCPs, Class 4 and 5 objects are equivalent to Euclid-class SCPs and Class 1 to 3 objects are equivalent to Keter-class SCPs. Due to the constantly changing nature of some Treasures, this is not a hard and fast rule.

Rework Request Template

I feel there are two kinds of ways one wishes to revise a profile, and that it should always be made clear every time to avoid proposing a rework when it's actually unnecessary.

One, a troper merely warrants to change a deity's title and assigned trope, and possibly a House transfer depending on the trope. (I have done this when I wanted to rework Cordelia.)

Two, a troper want to do a big rework of a deity's profile, which will require much discussion in this thread (and the old restructure thread).

So my question is this: regarding (Insert Character Here), whom I wish to change his title from (Old Trope) to (New Trope), is my planned profile revision a case of Type One, or a case of Type Two?

  • When it comes to

  • Ascended due to being the former Trope Namer for Crutch Character as well as being the namesake for an entire archetype of units in the Fire Emblem series.
  • Jagen was more important in the early days of the Pantheon when things still needed to be set up, and the more powerful gods hadn't ascended, or were still in training. Nowadays, he's mostly retired, but he still steps up when he's needed.
  • Helps train some of the younger heroes.
  • Don't let the memes fool you: Jagen is a fully-promoted unit and has a stat-line to be respected despite his old age, but he doesn't improve too much from the experience. Instead, he prefers to let the younger people improve. He is still there to help if things get out of hand.
  • Marth was pleased about the ascension of his guardian and adviser, and Jagen was, as could be expected, overjoyed to once again aid his Lord.
  • Gets along with Robin as fellow tacticians because Robin reminds Jagen of Kris, a soldier who once fought with him and Marth. Conversely, Jagen reminds Robin and Chrom of the latter's own retainer, Frederick.
    • Has, in recent times, also taken to joining in combat drills with the forces Robin directs. Jagen has observed these training drills and rather liked what he saw, opting to join in to develop himself even further then was possible in his day. After all, you can very much teach an old knight new tricks~!
  • Upon meeting Chrom and Lucina, Jagen was impressed by the action of the descendants of his prince.
  • Gets along well with Iroh as both have served similar roles as loyal retainers and mentors for Marth and Zuko, respectively.
    • Jagen is also enemies with Grima, as the dragon resembles Marth's foe Medeus, a foe whose evil Jagen is well-acquainted with.
  • Does not like Megatron. Not only do they sound similar, Jagen is not fond of Megatron's megalomania.
  • For the sake of all that is holy, don't insult Marth right in his face. Jagen may be an old man, but his stat-line is no joke, and he'll bravely stand up for Marth's honor, even if it might force him to strike and potentially rob one of his Lord's younger, less-developed allies of experience.

    Rework: Juliet Starling
Juliet Starling, Goddess of Teenager Talk (The San Romero Knight)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lollipop_chainsaw.jpg
Sabrina Spellman, Buffy Summers, Kim Possible, Bubbles, Raven, Ben Tennyson, Twlight Sparkle, Betty Cooper, Charlotte LaBouffe, Sayaka Miki, Mio Akiyama,
  • Enemies: Libby Chessler, Albert Wesker
  • Rivals: Jack Cayman
  • Opposes: All zombie deities
  • Conflicting Opinion: Sylvanas Windrunner
  • Odd Friendship: Magik

  • Some people notice certain things, but have problema putting them into words on the spot, resulting in using the word "thing"

  • (Talk about Teenager Talk as a trope)
  • (Talk about Juliet)
  • (Talk about why she fits the trope)

  • Initially a teacher in the now defunct Academy (as well as a follower of Tallahassee along with the rest of her family), Juliet hoped to gain the cheerleader title from her inspiration Buffy Summers, with support from both the Slayer and Claire Bennet. The gods decided to put Juliet and the other competitor, Kim Possible, to the test to see which one had the acrobatics to deserve the title. Just as a winner was about to be announced, one particular cheerleader denounced the contest; Libby declared neither of them fit the title because they do not match common cheerleader traits of shallow ruthless Alpha Bitches that Really Get Around. The Court of the Gods agreed with the ruling, but amid Buffy and Claire's protests, they compensated by giving the two other titles. Kim would get the Heroic Multitasking title.
    • Appreciated Saeko for giving her the high priest rank for Orgasmic Combat. Both share a Blood Knight personality when it comes to mowing down zombies. Oh, and Juliet has her uniform as an alternate look as well.
  • Her magical chainsaw is a ridiculous powerhouse in terms of cutting, being able to cut through entire four-door sedans, chain-link fences, steel security shutters, stacks of trees, concrete pipes, bus doors, fallen tree trunks, I-beams, and cars thrown at her with ease. Then again, it is explicitly magical, given it's able to possess a phone function, serve as a grenade launcher, have a self-propelled rocket engine, or turn into a pair of pom-poms for her quick combos (and despite their low power, they're still able to kill zombies, though the chainsaw form is still much better at that)!
  • Usually, zombies spill guts and blood when they die, but if Juliet is their cause of death, they spawn rainbows and heart shapes instead. When asked how she's able to do that, she simply says, "From awesome!"

She's knowledgeable in all things zombie-related, is an accomplished necromancer and is highly adaptable to extreme environments.note She also has a 3.4 GPA, which isn't bad, but not that impressive on a national scale.

The Tee Totaler Doesn't do drugs (space cake or otherwise), never watched porn and is very good at keeping boys out of her body

  • Due to her zombie hunter upbringing, while most Z.A. survivors have issues with killing familiar people who have been turned, Juliet has no issues at all.

  • Despite having no problem cutting zombies apart, and a surprising interest in many of the horrors she comes across, she's repulsed at the mention of frog dissection.

75 kilograms, also counting her chainsaw, clothes, lollipops, and Nick's head

A Running Gag is Juliet thinking she's "fat" and talking about her "fat butt", and her profile card says that her secret kink is "being told she's not fat", when really, she's actually pretty fit. Though if you believe stage 5's elevator sequence, she could be seen as overweight despite her figure.* When she first lands on the elevator, her weight clocks in at 75kg, or 165 pounds. Considering the average body weight for an 18-year-old girl is in the 120-130 range, it'd take a very generous assumption regarding her chainsaw (which are usually around ten pounds) to line up.

  • She was also considered as the God of Chainsaws, but Jack Cayman proved to be much more worthy of the title. She doesn't mind, but isn't afraid to throw down with him whenever he offers a challenge.
    • The title she actually did get was suggested by Buffy herself. Although Buffy would have taken the title for her own, she decided that Juliet would be the perfect candidate for the job. It helps that Juliet has some experience with the supernatural.
  • When she was denied the cheerleader spot, she was met with a surprising ally. Although wary of cheerleaders in general, Sabrina would have preferred her to whatever Libby and her posse would choose for the title. Afterwards she, Sabrina, and Kim egged Libby's temple in a fit of revenge.
  • Her ascension caused some of her fellow zombie hunters to scratch their heads. The survival horror trio of Chris Leon and Claire were initially skeptical with her skills. That changed immediately once she showed them what she's capable of.
    • She became especially sympathetic with Jill Valentine after she found out that she was brainwashed for a time. That quickly turned to scorn at Wesker, the man responsible for it all.
  • Many in the House of Love were inspired with her relationship with her boyfriend Nick. Any couple that can survive when one is left with a head has to have a strong bond between the two. Nick himself was more ambivalent, wishing his girlfriend would listen to him more. It's a request Juliet is attempting to follow.
  • Once went into the House of the Undead, with varying results…
    • Her first target was Nagash the Undying, god of the Undead. Unfortunately, his necromancy as well as endless amounts of undead quickly overwhelmed her. From then on out, she approached with more caution.
    • She decided that less powerful gods would be easier to slay. The other Undying God was inflicted with heavy losses as his army was mowed down. The bout between the two ended in a stalemate.
    • She was finally stopped by the Goddess of Revenants. After subduing her, Sylvanas Windrunner decided to let her go, warning her against going back into the House on a suicide mission. The cheerleader has been unsure on the archer's alignment to this day, but she promises not to attack her immediately on site.
  • Having the same voice of Tara Strong, Juliet forged several unusual relationships with several like-minded deities:
    • Despite her darker tendencies, Juliet managed to form an alliance with the demon Magik. She sees enough potential in the Corrupted one in overcoming her troubled past.
    • It hard not to see Juliet having a strong bond with the kid superhero Bubbles. One could say that the Powerpuff Girl is a much younger version of the cheerleader. It got especially grating for Buttercup.
    • Raven has been doing her best to avoid the girl, not just due to the similarities. Juliet contains strong enough emotions to make her sick to her stomach after prolong exposure. That doesn't mean she's not willing to occasionally help her out.
    • Ben just can't help but feel uncomfortable around her. Besides her skimpy outfit, the fact that he has the same voice as a girl confuses him to no end, much to Gwen's amusement.
    • Was once surprised by Pinkie Pie, who though she had heard Twilight Sparkle. Turns out the two share the same actress as well, and the two quickly became friends as a result.
    • She gets along with her Japanese voice partners as well. While she's trying to give confidence to Mio on her fanservice, she's sympathizes with Sayaka with what she had to go through.
  • It was surprising for Betty to find a cheerleader that isn't a stuck-up Alpha Bitch. Thus, she eased herself to a steady friendship with the preppy blonde. This has not gone unnoticed with Veronica, who has grown distraught over the concept.
  • When Juliet met up with Charlotte, the squees could be heard throughout the House of Commerce. It's not to say how the two wouldn't be best friends due to being Spoiled Sweet. Charlotte promises to fund the cheerleader's campaigns as well as that of the other zombie-killing deities.
  • Due to their love of the song, "Cherry Bomb," and other old hits, Juliet is good alies with Peter Quill/Star-Lord and the other Guardians of the Galaxy. She absolutely thinks that Rocket Raccoon is the cutest thing ever (much to Rocket's annoyance) and has promised Groot that she'd never use her chainsaw on him.

    Restore: Kogasa Tatara
Kogasa Tatara, Goddess of Karakasas (The Cheery Forgotten Umbrella, The New Youkai Moe~)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_th12kogasa.png
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: Her umbrella part
  • Theme Music: Beware the Umbrella Left There Forever
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Parasol of Pain, Peek-a-Bogeyman, The Chew Toy, Surprisingly Popular Character, Crappy Powers which are Actually Awesome, Recurring Boss, Moe, Feeding on Surprises
  • Domains: Umbrellas, Surprises
  • Followers: Gintama Kagura, Shizumaru Hisame, Pallysol, Brokenbrella
  • Allies: Yagyuu
  • (desceibe karakasas)
  • (describe why she was chosen)
  • Being an youkai who was born from an umbrella what was thrown away, her original role as the Goddess of Umbrellas was given to her. However, one day, a mortal called Yagyuu challenged her for the position. Kogasa's combat abilities were outmatched and she lost her original position. The two of them are in good relationship with each other even after that.
  • However, everyone in the Pantheon was greatly surprised to learn of her original deification. Admit it, you are too.
  • Some gods in House of Craft have asked if she is a doujin artist. Kogasa is confused by that question.
    • Some time later, they asked her if she was a blacksmith, like the one-eyed, one-legged youkai Ippon Datara. Surprisingly, she said yes.
  • After she got dethroned of her original position, most gods though that she would be gone. However, when people were minding their own businesses, a loud "Urameshiya!" was heard in the House of Mentalism. When gods came to see where the voice came, Kogasa had a built a small temple for herself in there, surprising eveyone. After examination on her feats on surprising the player, it was decided that she would get a new position as the Goddess of Surprises.
    • And then she vanished for a while as well as a number of Gensokyo residents/visitors, but nobody really noticed. They did however actually notice when she popped out so suddenly during a news report, illiciting much shock for her to feed on. Her temple was also refurbished during this, to the shock of those who thought she was gone for good.
  • She could be immeasurably more powerful if she ever realized the nature of her abilities as a Semantic Superpower and how they aren't bound by the Fourth Wall. After all, even Overdeities could be surprised in the most unexpected of ways. The fact Kogasa hasn't noticed is considered a major blessing for the Pantheon and everyone has tacitly agreed it's better to let sleeping dragons lie rather than unleash the true potential of the Forgotten Umbrella.
  • She doesn't care about what kind of surprises people do. Be it delightful surprises like Pinkie Pie pulling a surprise party or a brick laying surprise like Fiddlesticks coming out of nowhere to scare someone. She herself does like to try to pull off surprises which scare people, though, and holds little concern if that surprise kills them for any reason (heart attack, shocking them off a cliff or some such, etc.).

    Return: Elzam von Branstein
cleared

Okay, now who's ne—TROMBE OVERRIDE!

Elzam von Branstein, God of the Background Music Override (Ratsel Feinschmecker, The Black Tornado)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ratsel.jpg
  • Returning To: Musical Compositions
  • [tup]s:
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His Black Horse (Trombe!). Alternatively, the Branstein Family Crest.
  • Theme Song: Trombe!
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Paper Thin Disguises, Ace Pilots, Heterosexual Life-Partners, Real Men Who Ride Other Real Men, Theme Songs That Override All Others, Badass Pilot And a Gourmet
  • Domains: War, Teamwork, Music
  • Heralds: Kurt Bitner (XO, and captain of the Kurogane while Elzam is in the field), other former Divine Crusaders, Yuuki Jaggar, Ricarla Borgnine, Raul Gureden, Raji Montoya, Mizuho Saiki
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Guile, Char Aznable
  • Opposed By: The Nerima Daikon Brothers
  • Sometimes, when it comes to events in a video game story, certain background musics take precedence over all other themes, whether it's because of a significant scene, a situation's intensity, or a boss battle.
  • As for why Elzam von Branstein holds the trope, it started out because he was a video game boss character. When he ended up switching sides, his theme's priority couldn't be reset, thus letting his theme take precedence over all others, including other Final Bosses. And thus the Trombe Override phenomenon was born. Of course, this has eventually become downplayed, with other themes being able to override Trombe!, but him kicking off the meme allowed him to stay.
  • Elzam von Branstein is the eldest son of the Branstein family, a clan of influential aristocrats aboard the space colonies orbiting Earth. His pedigree from birth was not just a life of comfort, but an expectation to be an excellent soldier — the Bransteins were the clan charged with protecting the colonies from attacks and maintaining their peaceful alliance with the Earth.
    • As such, Elzam was a high-ranking member of the United Colony Corps' military as soon as he became a young adult, but this put him in an unfortunate situation during one particular incident, when his home colony, Elpis, and its citizens became hostages in an attempted terrorist attack on the colonies, led by the psychopathic Archibald Grims. In order to facilitate his own escape, Grims held Elzam's wife Cattleya hostage in a docking bay along with several canisters of a deadly nerve gas. Giving Elzam the difficult decision of saving his wife or the colony, Grims released the gas anyway, forcing Elzam to kill his wife (who told him not to feel remorseful about his decision in her last moments) in order to protect the colony. This caused his younger brother Raidiese to cut ties with the Bransteins as a result.
    • Years layer, he continued his service in space was one of the first to encounter the Aerogaters invading Earth. He destroyed four drones before disabling a fifth and securing it to show to Bian Zoldark, Extra-Over Technological Investigative (EOTI) Institute. In response to this, believing someone should step up to the plate as Earth's protector, and thinking its current ones complacent, Bian and his followers broke away from the Earth Federation Army and formed the Divine Crusaders, Elzam being one of its highest members, and even getting his old friend Sanger Zonvolt to join him.
    • He would challenge the SRX Team the rest of the Hagane several times launching in both his customized mechas and his personal flagship, the Kurogane, before vanishing sometime after Bian's death at the hands of the SRX Team after they took him down in his Valsion (plus forcing Shu Shirakawa in his Granzon to retreat), only to appear once more in Antarctica to hold off the Aerogaters and keep Federation government from surrendering to them. Though fighting for the same cause as what would eventually become the Steel Dragon Battle Group, he and Sanger wouldn't join up until Operation SRW, the final assault on the Aerogaters' White Star. He and Sanger would disappear after that, retiring to the countryside and hiding from the Federation due to their time in the DC and UCC. At least until the next threat appeared.
    • It was the threat of the Inspectors who arrived a few years afterward that brought Elzam out of hiding under the disguise of Rätsel Feinschmecker. Nearly everyone knew who he really was, especially his own brother Rai, but it was easier to explain a new mercenary aid than explain the harboring of a wanted man. After the whole affair with the Inspectors, the Shadow-Mirror, and the Einst, he, Sanger, and the Kurogane would disappear once more.

  • Previously an avatar of Char Aznable, he was deified in his own right due to a legendary Game Bug. As for his opinions on Char himself,

  • Technically, he also appeared in the Alpha timeline, though only under his alias Rätsel

  • Rätsel Feinschmecker, which is supposed to mean "The Mysterious Gourmet" in German (although correctly translated, it would be "riddle gourmet"; the correct translation would be "Rätselhafter Feinschmecker").

  • Nekki Basara was his follower, or to be exact... the former God of Theme Song, until Elzam replaced him and refined the title. One of his lesser archangels, Stan Bush, performs whenever the Autobots pick up the Matrix of Leadership.
  • Due to his respect with JAM Project, he will always let their epic theme blare on instead of overriding them.
  • Due to his status, Overdeities are capable of overriding his theme song, but Elzam kept the throne because only he is capable of making it into an art form. The other way to 'override' him is just to use giant-ass speakers when playing your music. But otherwise, everything gets overridden by "Trombe!". Of course, imagine if Elzam just used giant-ass speakers to play "Trombe!"... even the giant-ass speakers music will get overriden. Good thing Elzam has never used that kind of method, and probably never would.
  • He often makes passes to the House of Food as he is known as one damn great gourmet. Hell, he can withstand Kusuha's health drink and name every of its ingredients!
  • There has been chatter that Elzam plans to team up with Guile to make a mash-up song that would not only override every other song in existence, but go perfect with any situation. Elzam quickly shot down that suggestion.
  • Has made an enemy of the Nerima Daikon Brothers after his overriding music interrupted the band's performance. To his credit he has been trying to make amends for this, to little success.
  • (Alternate scenario of him and Sanger borrowing the Fairlion units to kick Archibald Grims's Rhino heiny)

(Trombe! fades out...)

  • Domains: Training, Emptiness, Desolation, Whiteness, Time
  • Sacred to: The Z-Fighters, primarily Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks (Future and Present)
  • Unholy to: Majin Buu (Super Buu incarnation)
  • Similar locations: The White Hot Room, the Sonic Generations Hub World, White Space
  • Within Kami's/Dende's Lookout is the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, also known as Room of Spirit and Time. A Pocket Dimension, the area is one enormous white void that seems to have no end. All that there is is a floor, the entrance as a room for food and relaxation, and of course air for the occupants to breathe. It's a harsh dimension, perfect for training if you can take it.
  • Initially it was only usable for three years in one's life, however, as of late, Dende has upgraded it so it can be used as much as one wants. The House of Combat found this and its ascension as a boon, and are using it often. The provisions can only last two people for a year, but the House of Food has managed to increase the supplies.
  • Has a Year Inside, Hour Outside effect. For every year inside, only a day passes outside. This can make it really useful to train in a pinch, such as when the Z-Fighters had to stop Cell. Or waiting enough time to train while Majin Buu tries to barge in. Cell and Frieza want in, but given their massive potential and ability to thrive in harsh environments like the vacuum of space, they are forbidden from entering.
  • Asides from the different flow of time, the gravity is ten times the strength on Earth. The air is thin and the temperature fluctuates wildly between -40 and 50 degrees Celsius. Because of these extreme conditions, it is advised only gods of Intermediate rank or higher are allowed to use this to train. The House of Time And Space is in charge of maintenance over this realm.
  • The only way to enter or exit is for the entrance/exit to stay intact in both planes of existence. Otherwise, the only other way out is the possibility of dying and being revived... or not at all. Majin Buu in his more intelligent Super Buu form was tricked and, utterly outraged, screamed so hard he created a portal to exit from. Strict supervision is taken to make sure the only normal way out isn't broken. Buu is too traumatized to consider entering it again.

Jura Tempest Federation, Holy Seat of Civilized Monster Areas (Monster Country Tempest, Jura Forest Alliance)

Its capital city, Rimuru

  • Domain(s): Monsters, Nations, Alliances, Demi-Human
  • Similar Places: Monster Metropolis, Sheol City, Midian, The Found Thousand, Droaam, Medina Town, Quelb, Sharom Island, Mt. Ebott's Underground, Skull Valley, Mechanicsburg, Monster Isle, Pottsfield
  • Related Dominion: Halloween Town, The Anur System
  • Sacred To: Rimuru Tempest, all civilized monsters
  • Banned From Entry: Indiscriminate monster hunters, warmongers
  • After being oriented with how the Pantheon works, how to ascend a dominion, and what tropes are available, Rimuru has decided to nominate his nation, the Jura Tempest Federation, for the trope Monster Town.
    • As for why... aside from the slime Rimuru, populating this Federation are goblins, orcs, lizardmen, demons, dryads, treants, elves, ogres, any "evolutions" thereof, and all other kinds of monsters as well as a percentage of humans.
  • Before entering, after it's assured that the visitor will behave themselves in the city, a guide book written by rabbit-beast Flamiare is provided to them, which will tell them everything there is to know of the Federation. It comes with a lot of pictures in case one is illiterate.
  • One can find clothing stores, smitheries, all sorts of eateries (serving everything from pastries to pizza), training grounds, hot spring baths, a coliseum for events, a school for all age ranges with nearly as much subject diversity as the Elysium Academy, all the usual amenities of a pre-electricity civilization. The roads are also wide and out of well-made stone, and while there's a chance for Random Encounters, the Federation's security can keep them under control, and it's nothing a standard adventurer can't handle.
  • There's also an underground labyrinth that serves as an attraction for adventurers, and it even has a "tutorial" floor for beginners, teaching about booby traps (and not just your average ones like arrows and spikes, but also things like boxing gloves on springs and even equipment-destroyers), nooks and crannies, mimics, etc. Visitors are also granted bracelets that will revive them and return them to the gates, so Death Is a Slap on the Wrist in there. And you better believe that it will be brutal. Manual mapping is vital, and it can take days to travel a floor. There are even Save Points. Oh, and treasures, of course.
    • Given their cartography skills long since honed in the Yggdrasil Labyrinths, the Etrian Odyssey guilds gave this one a try, and have already made significant progress.
  • Besides the usual gold, there's a point system used by the Federation's workers for purchasing amenities, and there's also a credit card system, though it only operates in Tempest, and like all such cards, there's a spending limit.
  • There's also a theme park planned for non-adventurers to enjoy, but it's still under construction.
  • As a place full of monster species, those who hunt them with no regards to their alignment are naturally not welcome here. And Rimuru's confidants are powerhouses in their own right, so an invasion is mostly out of the question.

Rework: Setsuko Ohara (read the SRW Z SSLP)
Setsuko Ohara, Goddess of Shining Tears (Sexsuko)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/setsuko.png

Shinji Ikari,

  • Enemies: Gilbert Durandal, Jerid Messa, Bask Om,
  • Opposes: Eliza and Neil Reagan
  • Setsuko Ohara started out as a rookie of the Glory Star team, who make their living as test pilots for UC Gundam's Earth Federation: she’s was very shy and insecure, often unable to stand for herself, but had teammates who stood up for her. The Titans didn't look at them favorably either. Her strange adventure began when a mission to defend the Virgola units they were doing test runs on against the AEUG. While attempting to pursue Kamille Bidan and Quattro Bajeena, a blast of dimensional raw energy engulfed her, her pursue-ees, and her teammates, whisking them away to another universe; the Cosmic Era, where after dealing with the locals and the Extended Soldiers pulling their Grand Theft Prototype, they were entangled into the Minerva's crew. Eventually, more of these portals end up taking AEUG and Titan forces along but after being forced to defect because the Titans assumed Glory Star to be traitors, after taking them down, the trio ended up teleported again, this time to Fujisawa, Japan, Earth, where the Grendizer team was up against the Vegan Empire.

  • Setsuko used to be the one with Broken Emotions, making her somewhat the antithesis of Chiyo Miyama. However, throughout her journey, she kept pushing on, be it a certain Asakim Dowin, to journeys towards the Time Prison, they may break her, but she resolved not to get too down on it. This is in spite being in possession of the Sphere of the Sorrowful Maiden, which is empowered with the more she broke down. Her resolve eventually caused her to elevate to a higher level... though not as much, because her new portfolio is in fact this problematic thing that she's blessed with. However, she was chosen because no matter how broken she is, even if she lost every of her senses, she will continue to move forward. In other words... suck it, "Suck."
    • ...And then she must move out to make way for another deity. Luckily, the Court found out that her tears can upgrade her mecha and gave her the trope of Sparkling Stream of Tears for that in addition to them shining a lot. Setsuko is relieved she doesn't have to hold a problematic title no longer.
  • When she first entered, her powers is said to be deadly and a bit too dangerous if left in check. Yukari has agreed to keep her power in check time to time (if she ever wakes up...). However, when she actually woke up, she saw Setsuko in control of her strength so she fell asleep again.
  • At that time Masaki Andoh got lost here, Setsuko freaked out since he reminded her of the one constantly breaking her. Fortunately, over time she noticed that Masaki might actually be the reincarnation of Asakim purged from all of his original evil, now she slowly has started to converse better with him.
  • Her first ascension is said to have occurred sometime around Super Robot Wars Z, which also somehow played a part in elevating the status of most of the cast of Gundam SEED Destiny (except for Djibril, who missed the chance by being ignorant that there is one.) Apparently she's very close to some like Kamille Bidan and Shinn Asuka.
    • She also hung out a lot with Yuri as the Precure often gave her advices on how to overcome her Trauma Conga Line.
  • Occasionally hangs out with Shinji Ikari, although The Status Quo usually gets Haruhi to hit the Reset Button before anything can ever come of it. Fortunately, they do finally meet when the Time Prison was broken.
  • The unlocking of the Third Stage of her sphere which allows allies to evade better and also allowing people to get stronger whenever they're near her is the solid proof of her mastery of the Sphere, even with all the sucks that come with her.
  • Something nice has finally happened to her: Her ex-follower Candice White finally ascended. They happen to get along very well now. Of course, that's why she ascended further.
  • With her new throne, she pretty much became the 'antithesis' of Stella Vermillion. However, their relationship is much more cordial, with Stella encouraging Setsuko to get a better hang of her 'blessings', something that she's been doing.

The Sinner, Deity of Sentences Longer Than One's Lifespan

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_protag.png
Two of their more common guises.
  • Intermediate Deity
  • Symbol: Their barcode. Alternatively, the Panopticon Eye.
  • Theme Song: The Price To Be Free
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: From a Crapsack World with Post Peak Everything, A Starting Life Sentence of 1 Million Years Because of Lost Memory, Very Customizable, Sentence Reduction By Doing Missions, The Leader, Human Resources, Made of Iron, Nerves of Steel, Zero Resolved Plotlines, accomplished Better With Teamwork, Very Slow Regeneration, Earning Swimwear For Working Off Their Sentence
  • Domain(s): Punishment, Parole, Rights
  • Heralds: Their Accessory (Robot Buddy/Warden), their ally Sinners
  • Followers: Sengoku, Merrill "Benten" Yanagawa, Gabimaru "Gogul" Rikiya, Kanae Kazaki, Solomon Roka, DuVaul, The God Eaters
  • Allies: Guts, Maximus, Anakin Skywalker, The Monster Hunters, Jensen Ames, Snake Plissken
  • Enemies: Cletus Cassidy/Carnage, Bondrewd, ADVENT, Big Brother
  • Fears: Judge Dredd
  • Pities: River Song, Aleph
  • Pitied By: Their allies, Earl Hickey, Agatha Heterodyne
  • Opposes: Earl of Lemongrab
  • Sentences for crimes usually come in the form of years served in prison/parole, and usually, the worst is a life sentence. And then there are cases with sentences far longer than one can expect to pay with their lifespan, sometimes ridiculously so. The Sinner got a million year-long sentence after birth for being a waste of human resources. "Thankfully", doing work for their Panopticon helps reduce the sentence… by tens of years (or tens of thousands of years for particularly hard or important ones). Usually, this work comes in the form of reclaiming kidnapped Citizens, repelling assaults by other Panopticons, scavenging resources, and other such necessities. With such a record, the Court decided to bring them to the Pantheon for such an unbelievable record after their plot (or whatever events remotely resemble it) was resolved.
  • Now that they're finally relieved of service of their Panopticon by way of their ascension, at long last, they have achieved true freedom; they can live however they want, they can keep whatever they want (as long as they can afford it), and there are no restrictions on who they can talk to (though who they wish to talk to still has the right to refuse conversation). Unfortunately, this has also left them at a loss on what to do, having been so used to following orders for so long. Fortunately, the GUAG was the first to approach and invite them to their ranks.
  • While they still have their "Accessories" with them, they're no longer tasked in keeping their Sinner in line and adding/reducing years to their sentence. Instead, they just serve to keep their Sinner updated on whatever mission they're on, general advice, and companion in battle.
  • The Sinner's weapons of choice are a melee weapon and ranged weapon "specialized" for taking down large mechs called Abductors. These range from knives, polearms, and brass knuckles for melee to handguns, flamethrowers, assault rifles, sniper rifles, autocannons, and portable artillery. They also have much more durability, agility, and might than an average human to ensure their survival in harsh conditions. One of their weapons in particular is the Ibara Hookshot, which was noted to be like the Omni-directional Mobility Gear system used by the Attack on Titan deities. Due to their Panopticon life, the Sinner treats civilians, especially those who have valuable intel, science skills or are otherwise knowledgeable in essential non-combat stuff, with unnaturally high regard, even deeming their safety more important than whatever mission they're on.
  • Having been subject to a ridiculously long life sentence, they're always on edge whenever Judge Dredd is around; his world's judicial system also delivers long sentences, and unlike their world has very little hope for parole. Fortunately for them, as long as they uphold the law, Dredd won't arrest them. They are most frightened by the prospect of the Imperium of Man's Penal Legions, who are sent to suicide missions even the Imperial Guard aren't sent to, with a promise of forgiveness if they die, and freedom on the very, VERY small chance they live. But given how much of a Crapsack World the Imperium is from, which is much worse than their own
  • As fellow deities who've had to win their freedom, the Sinner sympathizes with Guts, Maximus, and Anakin, even though their freedoms were more easily won compared to theirs, in which the Anti-Hero and the gladiator were appalled that the Sinner had to serve that many years, nay, millennia That said, they're more cautious around the Force user, given his…history. Earl Hickey was exonerated from jail by redeeming himself to people who he had wronged before and is saddened that the Sinner's sentence was harsher than his, not to mention the state of their world that warranted such a sentence. That said, they know there are others who've had longer-than-life sentences in the Pantheon, and some of them absolutely deserved them, such as Carnage. And should they ever cross paths, they will definitely clash.
  • The Sinner's former situation reminds Agatha of the inmates of Castle Heterodyne prior to her inheriting of it. At least sometime after she managed to claim the Castle for her own, either its (surviving) prisoners were freed unconditionally at some point during Klaus' siege of Mechanicsburg or joined up as her minions. Due to how Human Resources are a premium in their world, they despise those who abuse them, such as Bondrewd. There's also the fact that he experiments on children, unlike how the Sinners rescue Citizens who then help make items for them. In a similar vein, they oppose ADVENT as they’re perfectly willing to trick humanity into becoming more of their Mooks and bodies for their dying Elders.

    Restore: Jensen Ames

Jensen Garner Ames, God of Winning One's Freedom (Frankenstein)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jensen_ames.png
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His car
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Anti-Hero, Badass Driver, Condemned Contestant, "Frankenstein" Is A Legacy Identity, Meaningful Name, Mr. Vice Guy, Rated M for Manly, The Quiet One, Vehicular Combat
  • Domain(s): Cars, Freedom

  • Followers: The Penal Legions, Hannibal Heyes and Jedidiah "Kid" Curry, Pseudolus
  • Allies: The Sinner, Katniss Everdeen, Snake Plissken, Aoi Asahina, Dom Toretto
  • Enemies: Calypso, Needles Kane, Dollface (2012)/Krista Sparks, Jason Voorhees, Gleeman Vox, Meg
  • To any victim of long-term incarceration, being set free from it is the ultimate MacGuffin. Of course, it won't come cheap, but when the alternative is to rot and die in captivity, they'll gladly risk their life on whatever No OSHA Compliance Death Course is required of them to get it. Enter Jensen Ames, better known in Death Race as Frankenstein. Sent to Terminal Island Penitentiary for killing his wife (though he didn't actually do it), he was coerced to racing for the warden in a Death Race for a chance to win freedom by winning five times in a row. Not that the warden ever planned on letting him succeed, but that's a common aspect of the trope.
  • Months after his escape and living out in Mexico as a mechanic with his new companions and his little daughter Piper, he and his friends got tangled into one of Calypso's Twisted Metal tournaments thanks to one of the Jackass Genie's allies. Jensen thus found himself behind the wheel of his weaponized car, once again fighting for his life, but this time in a free-for-all battle rather than a race. Someone in the Court was a spectator and recognized him (at first mistaking him for Jason Voorhees, only later realizing that that guy isn't known for driving). Due to the fact that Calypso had roped in a non-deity into this month's Tournament when he wasn't supposed to, the law decided to turn their blind eye back to this issue and shut down the operation, which involved a huge skirmish, a lot of explosions, a copious amount of oil slicks, Link on a motorcycle, a giant ball of bubblegum, the Red Turbo Ranger, Cuccos everywhere, the Joker stealing the Sweet Tooth (again), Toretto driving Doc Brown's DeLorean, Speed O' Sound Sonic in the nude, and the Blood Gulch Reds on the Warthog with their usual music.
    • After the chaos was quelled, during the cleanup operation, Jensen was found, his friends were retrieved, and he was given the Pantheon sales pitch. Given how bad off his world is, even with the more dangerous forces here, Jensen decided to take the offer. Although he's less than amused given that his lodgings are at the House of Crime and Transgressions. At least there are a number of good guys in his Hall despite that. He has special enmity for Needles Kane and 2012!Dollface given he had fought them and their gangs in the tournament he had been shanghaied into, particularly the former after his car got chewed up and thrown away by the Dark Tooth. He had been fortunate enough to survive until the end when the authorities intervened, and he's despised them ever since.
  • Given the kind of race he had been forced to participate, he gets the shudders when seeing Wacky Racing games in action such as Mario Kart. Folks are intrigued that the DeathRace actually implements Power Ups. Of course, he has no plans on participating in any more races like that. Apparently used to be a NASCAR driver before things went badly for his world. (interaction with Richard Petty?)
  • Sympathizes with Katniss, who has also been forced into playing a Deadly Game, but worse since it was government-sanctioned and that even the Capitol's kids loved it. When questioned about Sylvester Stallone, Jensen stated he has nothing but respect for the guy, as even if Sly was a more villainous version of Machine Gun Joe, it still wasn't the one he raced against. And eventually befriended. He balked at the Sinner's bid for freedom in that they had a million years to work off by doing dangerous tasks. There's also the state of their world, which makes Jensen's much better in comparison. Due to the face that he's dressed up similarly to Jason Voorhees during races, he's almost gotten in trouble from those who almost thought he was him, and definitely when the killer went after him one night, and he found himself in the Houses of Life and Death later.
  • Being a Jason Statham fangirl, Aoi was esctatic to meet him. She felt bad for his situation, so she gave him some donuts to make him feel better, which Jensen appreciated for once. While on his actor, at first, Toretto was cautious around him due to looking just like Decker Shaw, but after a heated race together as well as sharing stories after, they became fast friends. Jensen also prefers to avoid the ocean parts of the Pantheon given there's a Megalodon who appears to harbor a big grudge on him, and who would want to keep being chased by a giant shark?

    Restore: Aiden Pearce
(cleared)

Note: Add Watch Dogs: Legion content

Aiden Pearce, God of Harmful Hackers (The Chicago Vigilante, The Fox)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aiden_9.png
  • Lesser God with his smartphone, Demigod without it
  • Symbol: His smartphone
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, leaning on Good
  • Portfolio: hacking computers for info and/or money, Coat, Hat, Mask, fox-like cunning, "hacking" people just as well, being a vigilante, do-most-anything smartphone, above-human reflexes, heightened awareness, hurting innocents in the name of Revenge for his dead niece, awesome biking and driving skills
  • Domains: Technology, Vigilantism, Revenge
  • Allies: The Laughing Man, the Assassin Brotherhood (probably)
  • Rivals: The "Hacking Quintet" (Ed, Bentley, Shiena Kenmochi, Otacon, Estonia), other hackers in the Pantheon if they aren't enemies with him
  • Enemies: Many in the House of Technology and Crime, Anybody in the human trafficking (and by extension, slavery) business
  • Under Close Watch Of: Dell Conagher
  • Feared by: Raul Menendez
  • It should be made clear the difference between the Hackers and Crackers. Crackers like Aiden hack for money or data. Hackers do it either just for fun or to plant viruses.
  • Many of Aiden's enemies fear him mainly because of what he can do with only his smartphone, which has been upgraded upon his ascension. Thankfully however, whoever had upgraded it also installed countermeasures that prevent him from controlling or compromising sentient machines (like the Cybertronians and Intelligent Devices of the Mid-Childan and Belkian goddesses). And it only works around technology, making him somewhat less of a threat in places like the House of Magic (unless perhaps when in the vicinity of Magitek).
    • Because of his "power" over all things technology, he's also given a wary eye by the Pokémon trainers and gods with partners in the Pantheon, since who knows if he can lock their Pokémon inside their Poké Balls, thus giving them a disadvantage.
  • Aiden can occasionally be found in the House of Commerce whenever he needs money, using his smartphone to hack into bank accounts and siphoning money to pick up at the nearest ATM. Though his threat level is limited there due to how (some) money is handled in the Pantheon, and from the ones with digital accounts (like Seto Kaiba) upgrading their security systems.
  • There have been rumors that Aiden was once outsourced by the Assassin Order to kill a Templar. Both parties have refused to elaborate or confirm this, though it's implied he at least sympathizes with their cause, even though his…measures don't really qualify him to be invited to the Brotherhood.
    • Similarities have also been drawn between him and Frank Castle/The Punisher, like how both lost family (though the Punisher lost way more than just a niece), and both became vigilantes to avenge their deaths (though Aiden might've been already a vigilante before then). That said, Aiden's far above Frank in regards to sparing petty thieves and criminals where the Punisher certainly won't.
  • Numerous gods have point-blank called Aidan a hypocrite who causes a lot of innocent people to get hurt while on his quest for revenge, with some even pointing out that one time, Aiden went through someone's niece to get to her uncle. Also, his lack of problems with killing anyone who gets in his way is also brought up as a flaw, and as such, a fair few people tend to steer clear of him.
    • But now that he's finally achieved his revenge at the end of his game, he has since dedicated himself to vigilantism, though his methods are still a tad excessive, controlled only by "tech-less" areas and deities in the Pantheon.
    • He's also managed to earn a little more brownie points when he outsmarted Raul Menendez's system during his attack on the Pantheon. Aiden had hacked several of his drones into destroying each other or used them as his platforms. Raul was not satisfied when he heard of this.
    • The sequel reveals that canonically, in addition to shutting down a human trafficking ring (which is an optional sidequest in his game), he actually avoided civilian casualties. But the tarnish has already been done, and it's argued that one can still cause mayhem without killing people.

    Restore: Tohru Adachi
Tohru Adachi, God of Criminals Beneath Suspicion (Tamotsu Adachi, Goofydachi, Crazydachi, Adachy-baby, The Egocentric Police Dick, [[P5 Suspect Under Investigation]])
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/adachi_0.png

As revealed on Persona Stalker Club, although Adachi, being a police detective, was legally allowed to carry a gun, he wasn't allowed to take it home with him, so he carried a toy gun on his person at those times. However, in Ultimax, it is revealed that he modified it to shoot real bullets when he first became a cop because he wasn't given a real gun right away. One of Adachi's hobbies is to perform maintenance on his revolver.

  • For nearly a year, a serial murder case in the rural Japanese town of Inaba had gone largely unsolved, until one day Yu Narukami and his friends eliminated all suspects but Tohru Adachi, who accidentally revealed himself under pressure. Despite shooting himself in the foot, the GUAE were impressed at how long he'd been able to hide in plain sight, and especially impressed when they heard how he'd managed to manipulate the murder case as it happened. This led to Adachi's ascension.
  • The Investigation Team (except maybe Yu) were not happy with Adachi's ascension, Yosuke least of all. But Adachi hasn't tried anything since ascending and just lounges around, claiming he'll play by the Pantheon's rules for now. Those in the House of Justice consider him a model criminal.
    • To show how much he wants to carry out this idea, he tried to stop the P-1 Grand Prix, and even ended up helping Yu defeat the thing behind the events in order to prevent any murders from happening, all because he knew that a single death would cause doubt that Adachi was the real killer, falsely exonerating him and breaking the rules of this world, as he puts it. While Adachi is still the scumbag he was, it is clear that he has grown up a bit.
  • Has something of a vitriolic friendship with Yu Narukami, thanks to their Social Link together. Adachi considers Narukami to be a stupid, pesky child, but fondly remembers the times they've spent together, and even gave him a clue to find the true mastermind behind their battle.
  • Gaston feels sympathy for Adachi, knowing what it's like to be abandoned by the woman he "deserved". As such, he frequently invites Adachi to drink with him. Adachi thinks Gaston is an idiot, but won't turn down a free drink.
  • Adachi occasionally interrupts conversations and changes the subject to murders.
    "Yaaay!"
    • And every time Adachi does so, a random member of the House of Justice would suddenly teleport in and smack him in the face before the conversation goes off the rails. The kicker will usually not be the same God twice in a row.
  • Despite being in the House of Crime, Adachi is normally found in the House of Food, finding supper for himself. While here, he's usually bothered by Uncle Chan yelling at him to go back and watch the shop, followed by a finger slap to the forehead. Adachi's tried telling Uncle that he must be thinking of a different Tohru, but it hasn't worked.
  • Has been permanently banned from the House of Love due to his notorious lust. Most goddesses in the Pantheon also tend to avoid him. He might have said that the House of Lust is full of, ahem, "bitches and whores" as well.
  • Contrary to popular belief, cabbages are not accepted tribute at his temple (only his former superior, Ryotaro Dojima, can get away with this). When someone tried suggesting that his title would be "The Egotistical Cabbage Detective", the person got curb-stomped. Repeatedly. By Magatsu-Izanagi's blade heels.
  • Don't mistake his complacency with weakness. Should he find himself in a fight, he can summon the Reaper and his own Persona, Magatsu-Izanagi to let loose.
  • After Izanami ascended, residual energy from within Adachi (granted by Izanami) reacted, and Ameno-Sagiri materialized once again (but without taking over Adachi this time). Ameno went to the House of Nature, though sometimes summons Adachi to act as a translator for him, as some people have trouble understanding his voice.
  • Attempted to hit on Elsa, due to what he perceived as similarities between them: it ended with her freezing his mouth shut, then the rest of him when he tried to summon Magatsu-Izanagi.
  • There has been some people who have compared him to Yuuki Terumi, was it due of how they dress or having bit of a overlapping personality. Adachi claims that Terumi will never be half the man he is, and Terumi claims in turn that Adachi will never be as godly as he is. Though Adachi has been spotted sporting a similar colouration to Terumi for undisclosed reasons. He even somehow got Magatsu-Izanagi to resemble Terumi's Dark Susanoo form.
  • For some reason, in spite of his 'detective' works...he can't stand dead bodies. This is why he avoids the House of Life And Death most of the time.
  • His former friendship with Yoshikage Kira is now one of mutual hatred as the two spent more time and learned more about one another. As he changed, Adachi separated himself from him and furthermore, the ideological differences between them have driven a massive wedge. Adachi sees Kira having no reason, not even one as supremely selfish and half-assed as his, for his murders as just utterly idiotic. Furthermore, the fact that he otherwise seems to be taking life easy utterly annoys him. As Adachi sees it, Kira has a very good life and just wastes it by killing people without reason.
    • While initially many were surprised by Adachi's rage at this, things would shortly clear up once Adachi's past dug up. He devoted his childhood to studying at the behest of his parents and at the cost of a social life in the hopes of a prosperous adulthood, a promise that did not come to pass. While more than a few people found Adachi ungrateful on how he ended up, even they admitted that he was correct at how often hard work does not lead to success as many adults have convinced children.
    • As such, when Adachi investigated Yoshikage Kira's past and discovered that he just strove for mediocrity or being "just good enough", it infuriated him since in his eyes, Kira got the reward he desired for doing little more than the bare minimum while Adachi's own past of furious investments for a promising future was never fulfilled.
    • Beyond this massive clash of philosophies, he finds Kira's... thing with removing the women's hands and calling them to be his girlfriends to be very very creepy. With their brief friendship having disintegrated into mutual detestment for each other's existence, Kira has avoided Inaba. Despite it being a tranquil quiet place to live his life as he so desired, Adachi made it abundantly clear that he would not hesitate to risk his life to beat him (especially if he targeted the Dojimas). He is even willing to go to the Investigation Team for help if he was not strong enough (especially upon seeing what Kira's new "Bite the Dust" can do).
  • With the rise of these new Persona users known as the Phantom Thieves of Heart, Adachi stood out of their way, not wanting to mess with them. Adachi himself reflected how the Thieves defied the complacency that he spoke about. Yet fate would have him run into one particularly member... Goro Akechi. Both of them are utterly uncomfortable with one another due to their similarites. Both of them are murderous Persona users who life had dealt bad hands with and in retaliation, lashed out with their new powers and rejected the bonds they built with people in spite of it. Adachi sees Akechi as the same sort of crap punk he was during his murders at first. Investigating further, Adachi could not help but feel legitimately bad at what to Akechi given how society failed him harder than anyone else. He also noted in surprise the blood trail Akechi left in his wake as well as his own motivations on it (Masayoshi Shido makes even people himself look normal). Also, he couldn't help but admire how he owned up to his crap and willing to face what happened. It's kind of a shame he might not have truly gotten a second chance like he somehow did.

    Restore: Rubella
Rubella, Goddess of Subverting Every Rhyme
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/childoflight_rubella_6638.png
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her red jester hat
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: fast yet sturdy, Genki Girl, Combat Medic, Noodle People, Non-Ironic Clown, actually optional but in-game circumstances signs her on ASAP, always smiling, Support Party Member, a name both unfortunate and ironic
  • Domains: Jester, Healing, Rhyme (Failed)
  • Allies: Aurora, Krusty The Clown, Sora, Princesses Celestia and Luna, Olaf, Dr. Seuss, most of the Good gods in the House of Royalty, Undyne, Rikuo, Aquaman, Edward Chris von Muir
  • Enemies: Queen Umbra, The Joker, Needles Kane, Sideshow Bob, Nightmare Moon, The Grand Duke of Owls, Balanar, David Zappa, Maleficent
  • Feared by: Nathan Drake
  • In the House of Narrative, there is occasionally a special hour where everybody must rhyme their sentences while inside, which not only helps in writing poems, but also songs for the House of Music. While there have been a few visitors who screw up, one of them was unique in the fact that it's almost like they're actively trying not to rhyme, yet when the non-rhyming words are substituted with their synonyms, the rhyme would appear. This detractor turns out to be a jester by the name Rubella, and after some deliberating, she's been given a spot in the Pantheon.
  • It's ironic that while her name is based off of the feminine form of "reddish" in Latin (rubellus), but it's also the name of a deadly virus that causes German Measles. Also ironic since she's her party's healer. The Trollkaiger had a field day with that.
  • One would think that Dr. Seuss, God of Rhyming, would get irritated every time he hears her flub a rhyme every single time. In actuality, he's very patient with her, and finds it humorous that her subverted rhymes can be rhymed easily instead of just being lazy. He believes what she does can get other minds to wrack their brains to finding appropriate synonyms and therefore improve their narrative skills in a roundabout way.
  • She doesn't understand why Nathan Drake avoids her whenever possible whenever the two are in the same area. No one has thought of telling her that he has coulrophobia. Sure, she's actually a jester, but they're still close enough to the same thing.
  • For reasons related to the battle she fought, she opposes those who would bring forth endless darkness to the Pantheon. That said, she bears no ill will to Princess Luna, as her friend Aurora, while a light-user, had been tasked in reclaiming her world's sun, moon, and stars.
  • Olaf found her funny as soon as he met her, having subverted a rhyme in his theme song once. Though Rubella could find his subversion more understandable; to say "puddle" would make his song a lot darker than it already was (just noticeable), and that would not be fun. Besides, Queen Elsa already found a way to prevent that from ever happening.
  • Rubella is aware of the other Princess Aurora in the Pantheon, and thinks positively of her.
  • As a powerful warrior and fishfolk, Rubella was enamored to Undyne pretty fast, as she reminds her of two of her non-ascended allies, who are one of each category.
  • Being allies with a bard before, she got along quickly with the "spoony bard" Edward.

    Restore: Daring Do
Daring Do, Goddess of Real "Fictional" Works (A. K. Yearling, Daring-Do, Daring Do Dazzle)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daring_do_3961.png
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her cutie mark, a compass rose
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good, transitioning to Neutral Good (has a dash of Chaotic Neutral)
  • Portfolio: Adventurer Archaeologist, Turning Out To Be An Actual Pony In Equestria, Badass Bookworm, Tomboy, Escape Artist, Lack Of Hero Insurance, Literary Agent Hypothesis, Jerk with a Heart of Gold, Used To Work Solo, Well-Intentioned Extremist With Good Publicity
  • Domain(s): Archaeology, Adventuring, Authors, Thievery
  • Herald: Dr. Caballeron
  • High Priests: Kaz and Oliver
  • Followers: Mondo Mouse, Really Really Big Man, the Justice Guild of America, Annie, Girl of the Stars, Dr. Shade
  • Allies: Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Indiana Jones, Lara Croft, Nathan Drake, the League of Explorers, Jonathan Joestar, the Crimson Chin
  • Enemies: Zoran Lazarević, Arnold Ernst Toht, Xingo, Ungalo
  • Rainbow Dash didn't know when she had the idea for it, but after coming to a realization upon glancing at Indiana Jones while reading a Daring Do book, she sped off and began to peruse the list of tropes that haven't yet had a deity assigned. When asked who she was trying to ascend, she answered "Daring Do!"
  • The next day, after the Court reviewed her hastily-written plea (and description of the pony she wants in the Pantheon), with assistance from Dream of the Endless, Daring Do found herself ascended (she was already in the Pantheon as one of Lara Croft's followers).
  • Gets along with fellow neighbor the Crimson Chin. She's fascinated that a fictional character like him can be real outside of his comic book, while the Chin himself was initially perplexed that an author like her was first assumed as fictional, but that didn't stop him from being friends with her.
  • In regards to her work as A. K. Yearling, despite the nature of her trope, it is still mostly a secret, though now it's the author persona who's the secret identity rather than the explorer, which she finds perplexingly funny.
    • Speaking of her author work, she's rarely at her temple for that and instead works elsewhere to write in peace due to another neighbor of hers; Xingo, who annoys her every opportunity possible. She remarks that her Rogues Gallery are easier to deal with than him.
  • Besides Lara, Daring eventually met the man she was based on; Indiana Jones. Oh, and Nathan Drake as well, and the League of Explorers, too.
    • There was also Jonathan Joestar, who was also an archaeologist and became so to understand the secrets behind the Stone Mask, even though this aspect of him wasn't that explored as much as he is more known for fighting vampires and other undead.
    • She and Indy eventually read a crossover tale featuring the two of them (a fanfic written by Lyra Heartstrings and Rainbow Dash).
    • Naturally, due to her association with Indy and Nathan, Arnold Toht and Zoran have become her enemies, too.
  • Apparently, Twilight Sparkle's mother has some ambiguous involvement with the Daring Do books in her world, but it's not known if she's in the know on Daring's secret.
    • Speaking of that, there's been one other question she's asked; which of her identities does she regard as her "mask"*, the author or the archaeologist? She has not deigned to answer that.
  • Has an extended archive of her adventures right here. She's not saying how much of that is actual canon in her world, though, only that most of the content in that page is likely not among her actual adventures, particularly the sequels and prequels.
  • Ever since a certain incident, she's tried to take better care of her surroundings, especially when villagers might take issue with her. Because he's known to be a Walking Disaster Area, this poses a huge problem when she works with Nathan Drake on an expedition should shit hit the fan.
  • Stays far, far away from Ungalo who, unpleasant personality aside, has powers involving bringing fictional characters in image to life. If one identifies with said character, they're doomed to suffer whatever fate had in store for them. Sure, he's banned from the House she stays at, but its boundlessly widespread range is still worrying.
  • It wasn't long before a shattering revelation about Daring's work was revealed: she isn't really as heroic as her books make her out to be. The artifacts she liberated don't end up in museums, but in her private collection. Ahuizotl, her archnemesis, was actually guarding the artifacts from thieves like Daring. But—under an amulet that induces its holder to tell the truth—she honestly believed they were safer in her hooves than Ahuizotl's hands or museum security.
  • Ever since the truth of her stories was brought to light, her relationships with the other Adventurer Archaeologists of the Pantheon have since become considerably strained, especially with Lara and Indy. Ironically, this is not the case with Nathan, who has had similar motives as Daring (stealing for the thrill), and they've actually become closer friends as a result. In fact, he's considering hiring her under D&F Fortunes (the Pantheon branch, anyway, given there are no magical ponies on Earth). Given her career as an author is essentially ruined, she's considering taking him up on that.

Restore: Kazuya (Shin Megami Tensei I
Kazuya, God of Settling On One of Multiple Endings (The Hero, The First Hero, First Champion, Sho, Futsuo, Adam)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ezimba15961658555200.png
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His COMP
  • Theme Song: Ruins
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Demon Tamer, Badass Normal, Ambadassador, Destroying All His Opposition To Save The World, Heroes Prefer Swords But Uses Guns Too, Terrible Singer, Forced To Kill His Friends, Living Legend, Adapting Really Quickly, Zero Magic Potential, One-Man Army, Killed In An Assassination That Was Then Made To Look Like A Cave-In
  • Domains: Demons, Neutrality
  • Heralds: Pascal (his pet dog/Cerberus), the Heroinenote
  • Allies: Stephen, Mido (as his former herald), Cerberus, Aleph, Flynn, Naoki Kashima/The Demi-Fiend, Kazuya Minegishi, Hibiki Kuze, Raidou Kuzunoha, Isabeau, Burroughs
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: The Imperium of Man, Ash Ketchum
  • Enemies: YHVH, Lucifer, The White, Chiaki Hayasaka, Isamu Nitta and Hikawa, the Divine Powers, Chakravartin, the Administrators, Mem Aleph, Belial and Nebiros, Malthael, Satan (Castlevania)
  • Pities: Erik Lensherr/Magneto
  • Conflicting Opinion: Dagda and Nanashi
  • The thing about a game with multiple endings is that if it gets a sequel, one of the endings (or none of them) has to become canon. In the search for a candidate, Stephen immediately nominated the first of his Messiahs, simply known as the Hero, but assigned the name Kazuya for easy calling. And bringing him over was simple since he was already in the Pantheon as Mido's Herald (for whatever reason).
  • As a present for his ascension, Stephen upgraded his COMP one last time: he no longer needs to keep collecting Magnetite to sustain demons he summons, though he does still dismiss them when he's not fighting, and collects and keeps some around for bribing demons with. This is on top of being able to summon up to five demons at once (as opposed to the Demi-Fiend's, Flynn's, Isabeau's, and Nanashi's three).
  • Never knew his father, who had left him before he was able to tell what was going on around him. That is why he doesn’t really know what having a father is like and his longing for a father figure is unusually strong. Presumably, this is related to his concern about demons. Since he had very few opportunities to interact with his father, it can be said that this resulted in his interest in the power of demons, in other words, the power associated with a father.
  • Having lost his own to a demon who impersonated her when he got home, Kazuya has a soft spot for those who lost their mothers (unless of course, it was of their own conscious doing).
  • Apparently, there was an old story (now dead) called 20XX that talks about what happens after Kazuya sided with Law.
  • While without any means of using magic, Kazuya can get around this by sword fusion, and thanks to the Diamond Realm DLC, he's inhereited a few abilities (though still Physical) such as Lightspeed Slash*, Crescent Slice*, Mist Rush*, Charge*, and Morale Boost*, resistance to physical and gun attacks, and invulnerability to Light and Dark attacks.
  • Probably due to how he was forced to be omnicidal in his fight for Neutrality, Kazuya isn't as immediately opposing of Dagda. After everything he's been through, removing all divinities and restarting humanity anew has its appeal. That said, now that he's no longer alone in the fight for humanity, he's not ready to have the slate wiped clean right now.
  • Wary of all angelic deities along with Malthael and Castlevania!Satan because they remind him of his efforts to rebuild the world into a Neutral one ruined by Law, and the Mutants and Gaeans who helped him ostracized and kicked down into Makai. There's also the fact that Pascal/Cerberus and Madam, who carried on what was left of his legacy in Valhalla, got killed and destroyed by Abaddon after he was deceived by the Archangels that he would be restored to Angelhood. Thankfully, the weak Mutants who aren't able to defend themselves were taken in and protected by Lucifer in Makai.
    • Speaking of Mutants, he sort of understands why Magneto does what he does for mutant-kind. That said, he'd prefer to find a peaceful solution.
  • As for the God-Emperor of Mankind and his Imperium, to say he's horrified with what it's become in order to survive the Chaos Gods, Necrons, Orks, and all the rest would be the understatement of the century. As a result, he finds it difficult to work with them.
  • Wants to remind folks not to take the bullet for a "demon tamer" who has time to summon a demon who can take the hit for them. He doesn't want a repeat of the Law Hero's Senseless Sacrifice.
  • Doesn't like Hikawa and the Demi-Fiend's former friends, finding all of their Reasons repulsive. Chiaki in particular he feels is actually worse than the Chaos Hero. While the weak dying out was just a side-effect of his goal, the weak being exterminated is her goal.
  • Reacts poorly when challenged to Pokémon battles. He predates Pokémon and friendly Mon battles by several years, and every other demon summoner he met before his ascension wanted to either kill or mug him. The first time he was challenged to a Pokémon battle, he mistook it for another random attack. In subsequent challenges, he had to be informed that the Trainer does not participate directly into the battle, it is illegal to assault the opposing Trainer, there can only be a certain number of Pokémon on the field at one time, and that it is not normal to request a Pokémon or computer part from the loser. He has not been banned, but the Pokémon League has decided that anyone who wants to engage him in a Pokémon battle must state clearly that they want a Pokémon battle instead of just locking eyes.
    • Ash Ketchum dislikes how he treats his demons, since the fusion system requires him to dispose of them once they stop being useful, in favor of stronger demons. Kazuya retorts that unlike Ash, he can't make his demons stronger without fusion, and he doesn't have the same amount of storage space. Also, shouldn't he have asked this question to Flynn or Aleph, who're demon tamers like him and were in the Pantheon long before him? He understands if he couldn't ask the Demi-Fiend or Nanashi.
  • He hates Nebiros for killing his friend the Law Hero, who in return (alongside Belial) hate him for refusing Alice's request to die for her, and then sealing Belial and killing Nebiros.
  • Extremely happy to meet once again with his first and most loyal companion, Cerberus. Many onlookers were surprised the Celestial Guard Dog actually behave like an enthusiastic puppy around Kazuya, but master and demon remember the good old days before their world fell. Kazuya is also thankful that even if he eventually fell, Cerberus and his next master, Aleph eventually succeeded in saving the world, validating his own life and granting him a measure of comfort.

Profile Fusion Components

    Return: Elzam von Branstein
Okay, now who's ne—TROMBE OVERRIDE!

Elzam von Branstein, God of the Background Music Override (Ratsel Feinschmecker, The Black Tornado)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ratsel.jpg
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His Black Horse (Trombe!). Alternatively, the Branstein Family Crest.
  • Theme Song: Trombe!
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Paper Thin Disguises, Ace Pilots, Heterosexual Life-Partners, Real Men Who Ride Other Real Men, Theme Songs That Override All Others, Badass Pilot And a Gourmet
  • Domains: War, Teamwork, Music
  • Allies: Sanger Zonvolt, Bang Shishigami, JAM Project, Kusuha Mizuha, Laura Bodewig
  • Rivals: Guile, Char Aznable
  • Enemy: The Nerima Daikon Brothers
  • Previously an avatar of Char Aznable, he was deified in his own right due to a legendary Game Bug.

(Trombe! fades out...)
