Since Sherry made top 4 in the show, this meant that the finale was the first one to revert to a Top 3 since Season 8.
• Since the COVID-19 outbreak made the in-presence filming of reunion and finale impossible, they were filmed over video link, with each queen and RuPaul connected from their homes.

The winner of the Lip-Sync chooses one safe queen to block for the next week; a blocked queen can still win the challenge and block another queen in turn, but cannot receive a Star. At the end of the season, the four queens with most Stars proceed to a "Lip-Sync Smackdown for the Crown" knock-out tournament.
