Misc. potholes and uses (3/56)

1. Main.One True Threesome: In a display of Take a Third Option, some fans adopt the concept of the OT3: the One True Threesome. It's just like One True Pairing, except that there are three characters involved; most often this means the Hero, the Love Interest, and one of their best friends with whom they've both had homoerotic subtext at some point. That way everybody's happy, the sex is kinkier, and no matter who's involved, there's always a little homoeroticism happening. It's like Give Peace a Chance, only instead of Peace, it's Three-Way Sex. While these groupings are most often the result of combining two other disputed couples, there are some examples of characters who simply group together in this way without the fandom splitting them into pairs; Power Trios are especially ripe for OT3ing. 2. Main.Common Hollywood Sex Traits: * When a guy sees two hot chicks having lesbian sex, they will ask him to join them for a threesome. It's in a list of sex stereotypes
3. Webcomic.Groovy Kinda: * Three-Way Sex: Not actually shown, but more than implied between Edison, Larry and Stephanie, especially after Ms. Rossum loses her...seal of innocence or whatever robots call it. Seems to be a menáge a trois in it's pure sense in that it's a true household of three: they all live in Larry's house, they all do things outside the house as three or in pairs, the women have "frolicked" with each other, and have "frolicked" with Larry both together and individually as circumstances dictate. Possibly to become a quatre with Edison's qualified approval pending what Anya can manage for the inviolable Kittens and Catacombs game night. See All Women Are Lustful above for explanation. Of course it was after a previous such game night that the initial "frolicking" as a trio occurred, so all is not lost. Don't know if it's a non-sexual example or if frolicking is an Unusual Euphemism.
