206 existent countries are listed below in the first two folders. Most of them (193) are full member states of the United Nations; and (for the most part), their independence, sovereignty, and territories are internationally well-recognized. However, some of these countries (13) have a more limited status when it comes to their position and role within international diplomacy.

Countries with full UN membership
There are currently 193 countries which hold full membership within the United Nations. Most of them are completely (de jure) recognized by every other country in the world, with some exceptions, though this doesn't really affect their (de facto) independence and sovereignty.
