I'm not quite sure it was here in the first place. If I remember correctly, the Pantheon used to go from Beast to Commerce. So... yeah. Don't know what that means.
It was created becuase Chris X mentioned that a lot of the War House had a lot of "Special Attack" portfolios that don't require weapons.
Hurm. In that case, someone might want to transfer the ones who apply over here.

Some of the links are dead but I think enough are still active to prove my point.
I can see under Kenichi's entry that we've been trying to get Miu into the pantheon, right? Well, after looking at her character page, I've noticed that there are a few tropes that don't have a goddess yet, and she might be perfect for them.
The tropes I'd like to nominate her for include:
Badass Back: Since she has a tendency to flip people whenever they come up behind her.
Don't Sneak Up On Me Like That: Same reason for above.
Clothing Damage: I don't know if this spot has been taken yet, or if it would go in this house, but anyone familiar HSDK will know that Miu can't come out of a battle even halfway dressed.
Feather Motif: Miu's name means feathers, and most of her fights have images of etheral feathers surrounding her.
Form-Fitting Wardrobe: Although I can't imagine Miu would be too pleased with that particular nomination.
Vapor Wear: Ditto above, but Miu rarely wears any underwear beneath her combat outfits.
And those are my suggestions. If anyone agrees or thinks I should try asking around in a different house, please reply. Also, please reply if you've noticed that one of these tropes already has a goddess. There are an awful lot to check.

On that topic, one of the characters saw Miu as 'their wings', which in this instance, pretty much translates to 'I love you'. Which only fits further with the feather motif.

I'd like to suggest Rammus ( From League Of Legends ) to take the place of God of Practical Taunts. He's got pretty much the best taunt in the game for utility and length, compared to the other champions who can pull off taunts (The other three champions who can taunt can do this for multiple people, but Rammus gets more precision as it's not a skillshot or avoidable AOE. It's also not limited by an ult cooldown (like Galio's), and is used to draw people in instead of screwing with them for a few seconds and leaving them open (unlike Ahri's) and is most suited to his role as tank as it also reduces damage output from opponents). The only one who could pull this position off in League is Shen, and Shen's probably more suited for another position in the pantheon, if he's not already on board and I missed him.

Hey guys! Just dropping a note here that this page has gotten long enough that it's likely to start breaking, so it needs to be split. I'll leave it up to you all to figure how best to go about that.

Hm, in case it does need to be split, I'd like to offer a suggestion as to how the split can be done. For example:
- Pantheon/Combat/Brawlers: For god(desse)s who primarily fights at close range. Examples would be Bruce Lee, Himura Kenshin and Zangief.
- Pantheon/Combat/Shooters: For god(essee)s who primarily use weapons that is suitable for ranged combat. Examples would be Samus Aran, Lina Inverse and Roberta.
- Pantheon/Combat/Mixed: For god(esse)s who are good at and generally prefer both long range and short range combat. Examples: Dante, Taskmaster and Tallahasse.
Or maybe we can separate the combat pantheon based on philosophy:
- Blood Knight combat: Basically fight for the sake of fighting. Examples: Kenpachi Zaraki, Azrael.
- Protective combat: Fight because they want to protect something os someone. Examples: Mega Man, Kenshin Himura.
- Survival combat: Fight because if they don't, they die. Examples: Tallahasee, Lee Everett.
- Fighting under orders: Because an authority says so. Example: Potemkin and Tager.
- Others.
What do you think?
I like the first split pattern. Just one question; are there any ambiguous entries in there?

The first one can be good. But some of the trope title doesn't convey the style. As in... Lina Inverse? Her title is 'Beast-Slaying'... but nowhere does it say that she's a shooter. This will get very confusing as titles usually do not match with the style of combat they use.
The second one can be done by moving some of them to the House of Philosophy. That house has been rather unused a lot lately.
My third alternative is to create a new House based on... Class/Profession. This is where we store some characters that are just on combat because their Class is based on combating. Like for example, Ryu Hayabusa and Ninja. Any thoughts??
So yeah, this needs discussion further.

Instead of spliting the house of Combat, some God(desses) need to be moved to other rather unused houses such as Knowledge and Philosophy. If not, I then propose a new House: The House of Profession (I.E Ninja, Kunoichi, Demon-slaying, etc.)

Ok, so last time I thought Lina, being a mostly-sorcerer type of combatant, is automatically long range can be misleading.... Never mind, at least we haven't acted on that :)
Anyway, I personally support the separation of House of Combat into House of Combat and House of Profession. But then seeing that the word "Profession" can mean anything from action-packed professions, such as some entries under the Combat Pantheon, to supportive professions, such as Sheryl Nome from the house of Music (and Hope), I wonder...
What if we split this House of Combat into House of Free-Fighter and House of Professional Combatants? Free Fighters would include those who fight not according to a certain occupational style such as many an adventurer, while people like hitmen, battle butlers etc can go into Professional Combatants.

How about separating in three houses:
- Combat: Gods of hand-to-hand combat.
- Profession: Gods with action-packed jobs.
- Power: Gods with superpowers.
Profession is a very general word, that non-action packed ones can do it. In fact, it could be encompassing other professions like Reimu Hakurei being a Miko. We'll need to reword 'Profession' so it's clear that it's 'action-packed'.
For the moment I say separate to just the House of Power first, that's all I can agree with.

Looking over the combat Pantheon, I noticed that a couple of them have the same tropes potholed in their domains.
Thorkell the Tall has "People who love to fight" as one of his multiple domains.
Listed higher up on the page is Kenpachi, the god of Blood Knights (and only that). Anyone object if I remove that trope from Thorkell?
Also: It should be pointed out that Vega shares a Foe Romance Subtext relationship with Chun-Li. In the Street Fighter series, Vega acknowledges that he loves to fight her specifically because he thinks she's the only one who's beauty and fighting skill compares to his own. Chun-Li finds it annoying and just wants to arrest the bastard.

I'd like to nominate Kenichi from HSDK as the God of Disciples. Think about it... in less than two year's time (in his timeline, anyway) he's gone from a no-talent weakling to one of the strongest disciple-class martial artists, period, has survived training from hell with six different masters, fought fighters that by all rights were supposed to mop the floor with him, and made nearly a dozen enemies take a heel-face turn simply with words. For a non-superpowered fighter, he's surprisingly strong. I challenge anyone to name a single NON-SUPER fighting series where a student has taken such leaps and bounds.

Hey everybody! So, I would like to propose Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson as the replacement God and Goddess of Battle Couples. As a huge fan of both the Olympian couple and the Rosario couple, there are a few things I believe that give the Olympian couple an edge:
-Percy and Annabeth are extremely capable fighters in their own right. Percy is the God of Hydrokinesis in the Nature pantheon, capable of summoning hurricanes, causing global earthquakes, and is an expert swordsman. Annabeth is currently listed in the House of War as the Goddess of Battle Strategy. She is known for quickly picking apart her opponents, discerning their strengths and weaknesses on the fly, and fighting in close combat with her knife. That being said, in battle together, their combined strength isn't multiplied, it's exponentially increased. Within their series, Percy is known as a loose cannon among the other demigods: fighting alone, he acts as his element (water) does, fighting to-and-fro, back and forth, sometimes suddenly bursting, sometimes quietly striking. Annabeth comes in and acts as a compass for that power, aligning it and focusing it into a precise stream of destruction while at the same time more than holding her own by simply outsmarting and out maneuvering her opponents.
Tsukune and Moka, when in battle, do act as one. Their combined destructive power is nearly unrivaled. Since Tsukune has learned to master the dark side of himself that was brought out via Moka's blood, their powers and power level are nearly identical, with some exception. The difference here is that it's more of a blood-knight couple than an actual battle couple. There's not a lot of reliance upon each other, no real synergy or strategy. They simply destroy everything in their path in a beautiful and totally chaotic way.
Thus, after giving it some significant thought, I believe Percy and Annabeth should be the official Battle Couple of the Pantheon.
In a side note, there's no doubt in my mind that, in battle, Percy and Annabeth would win. Especially considering what Moka's main weakness is...

You know, if some one is already in a Pantheon with a good position, there is no need to add another one, especially if that spot is already filled. Just saying.

So, while I would somewhat agree with that statement, I also think that the Pantheon as a whole is something that is ever evolving. Like a tree, branches shoot up here and there, creating different houses and connecting one house to another. Beings lose their place in one House and wind up in another. Often, you'll find one deity can be found in two or more houses. Take Moka and Tsukune, for example. While they are also Battle couple here in Combat, they're also listed in the House of Love as well, for the same reason.
All I'm saying is that I believe that, based on my knowledge of both sets of heroes/heroines, Percy and Annabeth better fit the role over Tsukune and Moka. If people agree with me, then it can be discussed and changed. If not, it can be discussed as well.
I think what you're trying to say, morgan, is that Percy and Annabeth should take over Tsukune and Moka. Is that it?
On the other hand... Percy himself has gotten a spot in the House of Nature. As Hydrokinesis God. I think what TPPR meant is that Percy shouldn't have gotten into replacing Tsukune-Moka while adding Annabeth... while he still kept his Hydrokinesis spot. I think he meant to ask you to just pick one.
Yeah, that was what I ment. Both Percy and Annabeth already have a spot in the Pantheon. Thereis no need them to invade some other gods' position.

I noticed that there is no God(dess) of Bloody Murder. I propose the following character:
Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, God of Weaponized Blood.
- Greater God
- Symbol: His cross-shaped earring
- Alignment: Lawful Good
- Portfolio: Control over blood, Compelling Voice, Noble, having hibernated for a long time, not-so-emotional, Noblesse Oblige, using up his life force for his power.
- Followers: His butler Frankenstein and said butler's employees M-21, Tao and Takeo. Also the nobles from Lukedonia, but they don't directly serve him.
- Allies: Alucard (Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes)
- Enemy: Anybody who looks down on the weak.
I notice there don't seem to be any co-deities of Action Duos, so here's who I propose should be in this position;
Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth, co-deities of Action Duos Anna De Witt (Elizabeth)
- Intermediate Deities (both) though Elizabeth would reach Overdeity level should the Siphon be destroyed
- Theme Song: either Beast of America or Will the Circle Be Unbroken
- Symbol: the 'AD' mark on Booker's right hand (Booker, natch) a thimble on a shortened pinky (Elizabeth)

- Booker: True Neutral with some Chaotic Good leanings
- Elizabeth: Neutral Good
- Portfolio:
- Booker: having serious regrets over horrible things he's done in his past, blasting through entire armies to get a certain girl out of a floating city, War veterans that faced serious psychological trauma
- Elizabeth: Girl in the Tower, Hypercompetent Sidekick, having alot of Idle Animation, being very good at picking locks, able to bend reality to her will
- Domain:
- Booker: Guilt, atonement, cynicism, determination, fatherhood.
- Elizabeth: Innocence, friendliness, helpfulness, freedom.
- Followers: most other action duos as well as some Father and Daughter duos
- Allies:
- Booker: Jack Ryan, Bryan Mills.
- Elizabeth: Most of the good-aligned Princesses in the House of Royalty (most notably Belle, Aurora, and Snow White), [[Pantheon/Magic Twilight Sparkle]],
- Enemies:
- Non-ascended: The Founders and the Vox Populi.
It's still incomplete though, I'll try to finish it later, but feel free to fill in some blanks if you want.

- After hearing all the warriors who loved int he Pantheon, Azrael wanted into it as his new feeding ground. Originally he watned to upsurp Kenpachi Zaraki as the God of Blood Knights, but got tired of waiting and started searching for open thrones he would apply do.
- After the fact that he was able to defeat Rachel, Valkenhayn, Iron Tager, Jin and Ragna, whithout letting loose his Enchant Dragunov, most gods were afrait what he could do if he could completely remove it. As such, he was able to get his godhood that way.
- Azrael also has another thing holding him back: A restriction from Sector Seven which prevents him from attacking people who have no will to fight, plus Tager and Kokonoe. Where this causes him being unable to just fight any god he wants, there are enough gods who will fight him to keep him satisfied and he also attacks Mooks if anything else. He also sometimes damages the houses where Tager and Kokonoe are to make him bear the second part of the restriction.
- Wesker has found some interest on Azrael. It would be taht his inhuman strenght has peaked his interest, or that they sound a kind.
- Before he ascended, Terumi spread a rumor which claimed that he might be gay. Azrael denies this and in worst case will put the person in the recieving end of Valiant Crash combo. This has gained him some sympathy from Kanji, but he tries to keep his distance from Azrael anyway.
Does any one have anything to say (like suggest a different house)? If not, I'll add him ASAP.

Also since we're more accepting on the canon now, you can think about how to integrate it, and skip out embarrassing parts. With the Arcades also declared canon, I think the Enchant Dragunov stuff can be included...

- A rumor is circulating that Accelerator's actually a Hermaphrodite, mostly due to his incredibly androgynous appearance, coupled with the fact that his original name consisted of 3 kanji for the first and 2 for the last, the exact same amount and order that his gender bent counterpart Yuriko Suzushina has, making it seem likely that it was his original name. As such, he would avoid getting into the House of Love or else people could possibly hit on him due to the rumor.

- Bahamut has some mixed feelings for Issei as he knows that the current Sekiryuutei is a good person at heart but his perversion to the point that he is presently called the Chichiryuutei is mortifying. As for Ddraig, it is rumoured that Bahamut is acting as his councillor after Issei's ascension.

However, given Issei's Boosted Gear, there is a very slight chance that he might actually be able to be on even terms with Asura, assuming that he survives long enough to gain the necessary boost in power from his sacred gear which is admittedly extremely difficult.
- A few jealous gods wondered what some of the goddesses who like him see in him. If only they knew the lengths he is willing to go through to help them.

Clothing Damage is very fine, but aside of Chichigami, I think there's also ANOTHER Buxom Is Better Goddess, that is... Litchi Faye-Ling. Sure she could ALSO take the Buxom Is Better stuff? From your texts, it's like she's most known for her Clothing Damage, not her oppai (while aside of Chichigami, Litchi HAS also gotten the jealousy of many women due to her breasts and she's even got the nickname 'Boobie Lady' for it).

Any way to describe about his personal appearance? I do know that he is supposed to be the Red Dragon Emperor and wears plate armour to match.
Somehow, he doesn't seem to fit in the House of Combat. Clothing Damage is not even on the Combat Index.

Well, I'm not too well versed in the categories to tropes but I can shift him to the house of personal appearance if clothing damage is accepted there. He is a cappable fighter though and he does often defeat female enemies by first using Dress Break followed by shooting them with Dragon Shot while they are distracted. And clothes can get damaged during a fight hence why I felt he would fit in the house of combat.
Also, I'm planning to add more details concerning Litchi Faye Ling if possible (she is the other goddess of boodies after all).

Fit with which house? If it's Combat, then I can see why he's not. As of heroes, though... "Savior". That sounds pretty heroic to me.
Not to mention he makes it his habit to deliver extreme punishments to Complete Monster alike. That sounds a lot heroic.

While Trevor and Sypha deserve the position of Might & Magic Combo, it's faulty under the trope of Sword and Sorcerer since Trevor doesn't use swords.
However, there is a way to "modify" their position while simulataneously adding the final member of the quartet, Grant: Placing them as the Triumvirate of the Fighter, Mage and Theif Alliance or something along those lines but using that trope as the point.
I could go and modify their entry, but does anyone agree to the change?

I propose to move Cloud Strife from his current position and make him God of Limit Breaks, leaving Rakan as the God of Swordsmanship, since we don't need two all that much. Cloud's Omnislash is one of the most iconic Limit Breaks, I believe.

I'm thinking to remove this part. This is only suggested because of Akiyoshi's obsession on how much Signum has fallen, and honestly, he's banned because of his stubborn insistence. No offense to Krillin, and I don't want to sound like vandalizing. Therefore... can we remove that line and relations?
Um... I know this qualifies more in the Weapons House, but mind if we append the title "Co-Masters of the Facepalm of Doom" to Master Asia, since his FPOD is one of the most revered... and one of the most destructive...

Why does this House even exist? It is heavily redundant with both War and Weapons.
From what I can tell, the intended justification is that the deities of this House are supposed to be the embodiments of various hand-to-hand combat and martial arts tropes, as opposed to fighting in general and the equipment used for such. However, it's not actually turning out that way. This House is becoming a general dumping ground for any character who plays a role in combat, whether their tropes and archetypes emphasize unarmed one-on-one combat or not.
Furthermore, this is a rather specific theme to devote an entire House to. A Pantheon organization or sub-house, akin to the Court of the Gods, Defense, or the Council of Shadows, perhaps, but not a full-blown House in and of itself.
Houses are supposed to be broad and encompass many themes and archetypes; that the House of War is a big as it is isn't a problem to be solved, but an example of the system working as intended. Emphasizing specific deities within the House via sub-houses and organizations is one thing, but splitting it up is solving a problem that doesn't actually exist.
I propose that this House be collapsed back into War and Weapons, as applicable. If it is kept at all, it should be as a sub-house, and therefore not preclude its resident deities retaining membership in War and/or Weapons. For that matter, we may want to consider giving Weapons the same treatment.

Dear Exploding Frogs, I think you had a problem with a house which has the fear of being overloaded. I suggest that you... bring it to the discussion of the Main Pantheon page. It is apparent that probably this is between "Useless Houses" or "Fears that Houses will get so overloaded that it would make the page uneditable for more additions"
While the arguments I use may indeed be applicable on a broader scale, my initial post expressed concerns regarding this specific page. Please actually address these concerns, rather than try to evade them or redirect them elsewhere.
I will also appreciate it if, in the future, you do not try to tell me what I am "actually" saying. I know perfectly well what I am saying, and do not need an interpreter for my own thoughts.

Very well then. In that case, let me ask: If one day the House of War/Weapon becomes uneditable because it's just plain too crowded, what will you do? The reason why GUAG and GUAE was spit was because the entry becomes overly big they needed to separate. Perhaps the split into house of Combat was a premature, but if it happened to the house of War...
This issue has popped up many times in the rest of the wiki, and the solutions used are equally applicable to the Pantheon. Folderizing tends to help, though in the case of pages that are undergoing extremely rapid growth, my experience is that this only delays the problem, and usually not for long.
Other solutions include splitting the page, not into Houses, but into sub-pages that are only linked to within the page itself, rather than in the main Trope Pantheons index. (The character sheets for Mahou Sensei Negima!, Homestuck, and Exalted are all good examples of this method.) The basis for these sub-pages may be categorical, alphabetical, or a mix of both.
(This also strikes me as a good way to approach the GUAE/GUAG pages, which are taking up more space on the main index page than they really need to, but that's another topic entirely.)
Another possibility is a "purge" of sorts: how many deities actually embody unique tropes that no other figure covers, and how many are there because a fanboy thought they were "omgsobadass!!1111!!!oneone1!!"? The latter should be removed, as they add nothing but extra clutter to the page. A page establishing a clear standard for ascending a trope god and the format of their profiles might also help to prevent that kind of thing in the future.
As what? I still think of Family House for him. His 'Big Bro' stuff is a stuff of legends.

Well, if anyone doesn't mind here's my possible Template of Asura(In the Combat Section, at Least).
Asura God of Multiple Arm Attacks, Fighting The Heavens Above, and Rage That Can't Ever Be Stopped.
- Greater God Possible Overdiety in his Mantra Form
- Symbol: His Mantra Halo when he was a member of The Eight Guardian Generals
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Portfolio: Vengeance, Rage beyond all comprehension, Rescuing his daughter, using multiple arms, having Higher transformations than just his Multi Armed form, Ungodly Strength, Energy Projection, Destroying Planet sized objects with his bare fists
- Allies: Son Goku, Dante, Other Combat deities, Yasha.
- Enemies: Kratos
- Ascended after everything he has went through was shown to the other members of the Pantheon, where almost everyone nearly Shat themselves at his raw power.
- Has a major father Instinct, and really wants his daughter Mithra to ascend to the pantheon to be able to be with her. Weather that happens or not has not been determined.
- Is often compared to Akuma. Asura himself has not said anythign on the matter, but he does note a fight with him would be interesting.
- Vies to take Sweeny Todd's place in the house of Emotion as the god of Rage and Vengeance. He hasn't gotten the chance to yet, but if he does, may the other gods in the pantheon have mercy on Sweeny Todd's soul.
- Despite similarities between the two, Asura despises Kratos with a passion for his carelessness towards Humanity in how he kills them with no remorse even if they are innocent villagers. It brings to mind of other Demi-Gods that he had fought before ascending to this pantheon.
So, what do you guys think?

You've really given me a pleasant surprise here, of all the characters to ascend to the pantheon, one of those I LEAST expected was the Might of DEMACIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! (Why yes, I do mean Garen.)
I emphatically defend the original rankings of the Guard of The House of Combat
If we were to rank all Gods on their literal Real Life physical power levels, then The Beatles for example would all be Quasideities.
The Beatles are Greater Gods and Overdeities (like the kind, pacifist Mr Rogers) because they are legends whose deeds move and inspire people, and shape society to this day.
Guan Yu in the house of appearance? He would historically be am "Intermediate God" , but he is a Greater God here because even in Real Life Asia, he is literally worshipped as the God of Honor, Brotherhood and Justice, on top of coining the term "One Defeating A Thousand" due to his revered might as a warrior in life.
So is it the same with Wong Fei Hung,Ip Man and Especially Bruce Lee, whose deeds continue to move and inspire millions to this day.
Without the deeds of Bruce Lee, in particular, Martial Arts would not have anywhere near the level of global respect and recognition outside Asia in present day culture; so like Mr Rogers (who is an Overdeity due to his inspirational kindness, not backside power) Bruce at least deserves his ranking of Greater God or Overdeity.
