     Nicky

Ranking: 19th Place (1st banishment)
Age: 45
Occupation: Accounts Supervisor
Alignment: Faithful

  • Artificial Limbs: She lost her hand in a car accident, and her goal if she won the money was to buy herself a specialist prosthetic hand.
  • Forgot the Disability: The other contestants' main reason for banishing her was that she didn't raise her glass to a toast... because the glass was in front of the arm with her missing hand.
  • The Leader: During the wicker beasts mission, she takes charge of the Blue Team and rallies them into doing different tasks.

     Claire
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/5f067f9f_79e5_40c1_9f4b_77d4ba06592b.jpeg
Ranking: 18th Place (2nd murder)
Age: 43
Occupation: Ex-Police Officer & Entrepeneur
Alignment: Faithful

  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Due to being on the show a very short amount of time, and not antagonising or outright accusing anyone whilst she was there, she didn't get much of a chance to express herself. She DID say that she was an ex-police officer, which she posits during her elimination interview was the reason the Traitors murdered her; before her investigative skills rooted them out.

     Imran
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/710dc8ab_43cb_46b5_97bb_2ae90293e9e9.jpeg
Ranking: 17th Place (2nd banishment)
Age: 23
Occupation: Scientist
Alignment: Faithful

  • Hidden Depths: He hid from his fellow contestants, but told the audience, that he was the youngest scientist ever to get an Astrophysics PhD.
  • Glory Days: He isn't in the show for long, but he mentions this (certainly very impressive) achievement a LOT.
  • The Stoic: He always kept a level head and didn't display a lot of emotion on the show. Imran himself notes in Confession Cam that he doesn't seem to have the same emotional sensitivity as the rest of the group.

     Ivan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a9f686df_1073_4d01_9b51_cd07914b9d78.jpeg
Ranking: 16th Place (3rd banishment)
Age: 32
Occupation: Author
Alignment: Faithful

  • Death by Genre Savviness: It's his genre savviness that makes Tom suspicious of him, resulting in his banishment.
  • Genre Savvy: As an author who writes books about board games, he openly admits to having entered the game specifically to see how his knowledge of the format translates to trying to play a real-life one.

     John
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/2b0d1787_bc7c_4430_b2f3_67bfbf30bf5c.jpeg
Ranking: 15th Place (3rd murder)
Age: 49
Occupation: Spa Therapist
Alignment: Faithful

  • Berserk Button: Being perceived as weak due to his age seems to be one for him, as he confronts Imran in Episode 2 over his comments about the Blue Team being disadvantaged in the wicker beasts mission.
  • The Bully: After Aaron breaks down crying at the first Roundtable after being accused of being a Traitor, he begins attacking him at almost every chance he gets, believing Aaron's crying to have been Crocodile Tears and his sincere attempts to get to know him as manipulation.

     Tom
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c1416676_a3a8_4adc_bb64_bda8ed864fb4.jpeg
Ranking: 14th Place (4th banishment)
Age: 24
Occupation: Magician
Alignment: Faithful

  • Always Save the Girl: Absolutely panics the moment that Alex is threatened and pulls out all the stops, revealing all his secrets and putting himself on the line, begging the team to vote for someone else and encouraging them to sacrifice him next if he's got it wrong. Unfortunately, he had.
  • Cheated Death, Died Anyway: Tom earns the first shield, but it doesn't get him very far since it doesn't protect him from banishment.
  • Clueless Detective: In Episode 5 he convinces the other contestants, backed up by his own confidence in his ability to read people thanks to being a magician, to follow him in his belief that Ivan is a Traitor. He's wrong.
  • Internal Reveal: The other contestants find out that he and Alex are a romantic couple in Episode 4 when he admits it after Alex is put on trial.
  • Magician Detective: He's a professional magician, which he believes will help him identify Traitors.
  • Secret Relationship: Alex is his girlfriend, something known to the audience but being kept a secret from the other contestants on the show.
  • Stupid Sacrifice: He's so confident in his ability to read people that he gets Faithful Ivan banished, and tells them to banish him afterwards if he's wrong. They do.
  • Suicidal Overconfidence: He's so confident in his belief that Ivan is a Traitor (he isn't) that he tells the others they can banish him if Ivan is Faithful. This gets him banished after Ivan's banishment.

     Matt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ef101d35_e77a_45f3_8a2a_780bbe484f8e.jpeg
Ranking: 13th Place (4th murder)
Age: 23
Occupation: BMX Athlete
Alignment: Faithful

  • Hopeless Suitor: From the start, he is pretty smitten with Alex, but she unfortunately isn't interested due to already being in a relationship with Tom.
  • Kindhearted Simpleton: Rightly or wrongly, he gets this edit through his hopeless attraction to Alex, who (unbeknownst to him) already has a boyfriend and is just playing him. He's devastated when he finds out the truth.
    • Subverted when it comes to the Traitor's rationale for murdering him - which is that they think he's more clever than people assume he is, and thus perceive him to be a threat to them.

     Alyssa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aeae56e5_6176_4f75_b21d_7ca51c1bcba1.jpeg
Ranking: 12th Place (5th banishment)
Age: 21
Occupation: Business Student
Alignment: Traitor

  • The Baby of the Bunch: The show's youngest contestant.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: The quiet Alyssa is the murderer. However, this ultimately backfires on her as people sense this trope coming around her quietness.
  • Inscrutable Oriental: The half-Asian Alyssa is very mysterious and able to play her cards close to her chest.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: The guilt of her actions as a Traitor really starts getting to Alyssa the further she gets into the show.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Alex accuses her of this, saying she doesn't believe she wants to be an estate agent.
  • The Quiet One: Which makes her a frequent target of suspicion from the other contestants.

     Rayan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/7981d7f4_bab4_4ffe_9d30_b4719feb8296.jpeg
Ranking: 11th Place (6th banishment)
Age: 25
Occupation: Trainee Lawyer
Alignment: Faithful

     Alex
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d3f3285c_3a75_4b46_b036_21b7673b9aa2.jpeg
Ranking: 10th Place (5th murder)
Age: 26
Occupation: Presenter & Actress
Alignment: Faithful

  • Everyone Loves Blondes: Alex has blonde hair, and is a major Lust Object for both Matt and (her boyfriend) Tom, with people remarking on her beauty.
  • Femme Fatale: Although she never confirms or denies that that is what she's doing with Matt, she certainly appears in the edit to be hitting all the right notes for this to be the case.
  • Hidden Depths: While she eventually revealed her relationship with Tom, she still hid from the other contestants both that she had a Psychology degree and that, in addition to being a TV presenter, she is a professional actress.
  • Honor Before Reason: Alex is invited to become a Traitor, which would protect her from murder. She declines, and is then murdered the following night.
  • Internal Reveal: The other contestants find out that she and Tom are a romantic couple in Episode 4 when Tom admits it after she is put on trial.
  • "Leave Your Quest" Test: In Episode 7, the Traitors offer her the chance to join them, which she rejects. As a result, the Traitors murder her the following night.
  • Secret Relationship: Tom is her boyfriend, something known to the audience but being kept a secret from the other contestants on the show.
  • Stunned Silence: When Tom drops the bombshell to the others about their relationship - something she was completely not expecting - Alex goes blank for some time, unable to speak or respond.

     Amos
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/169c6680_123a_4ae2_9d4f_ec755895b63e.jpeg
Ranking: 9th Place (6th murder)
Age: 30
Occupation: Doctor
Alignment: Faithful

  • The Bus Came Back: In Episode 5, he returns to the show at the end of the mission after having previously been thought to have been eliminated.
  • Cheated Death, Died Anyway: He is believed to have been eliminated first, but returns in Episode 5. He's then murdered at the end of Episode 8.
  • Exact Words: In Episode 1, the contestants are asked to stand in order of who they believe is most likely to win, with him and Kieran standing at the end, a decision which results in them being removed from the game. However, in Episode 5, it's revealed that they weren't eliminated from the game, as the only way to leave is either by banishment or being murdered, and they both return.
  • Intergenerational Friendship: Formed a very close one with Andrea, who at 72 is old enough to be his mother or grandmother.
  • Secret-Keeper: Alex confides to him about the Traitors trying to recruit her in Episode 7, which he keeps to himself until she reveals it at the Roundtable that same episode.

     Theo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/f5541148_9bbc_4faf_a62e_270f962c97b1.jpeg
Ranking: 8th Place (7th banishment)
Age: 26
Occupation: Cheerleading Coach
Alignment: Faithful

     Fay
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/3dfde2c0_9bfe_4fa9_a088_1e856f9492c7.jpeg
Ranking: 7th Place (7th murder)
Age: 59
Occupation: Head of School Welfare
Alignment: Faithful

  • The Smart Guy: She was very logical and analytical on her hunt for the Traitors, which is the main reason they murdered her.

     Amanda
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/86a3e147_bf01_4acd_b003_57c200ed02b6.jpeg
Ranking: 6th Place (8th banishment)
Age: 54
Occupation: Estate Agent
Alignment: Traitor

  • Consummate Liar: She manages to fool everyone for the majority of the series into thinking she's a Faithful, spending most of the show practically above suspicion. Indeed, her name isn't even mentioned as a potential Traitor until Episode 10, and while she was banished, it was only thanks to the manipulations of Wilfred, who knew she was a Traitor by virtue of also being one.
  • Cool Old Lady: A downplayed example. While 54 isn’t exactly elderly, she ends up taking a similar role within the group by acting as the strong rational glue holding them together while simultaneously winning money in the challenges. Where she really shines, however, is in her manipulation of the situations around her as a Traitor, successfully keeping suspicion off of herself for most of the game until her undoing at Wilfred’s hands.
  • Hoist by Her Own Petard: Raising Theo as a Traitor makes her extremely suspicious to the other Faithful, since she had previously said she trusted him the most. Though he gets banished, this ultimately leads to her own banishment.
  • Manipulative Bastard: By necessity as a Traitor, but solidified by her skills at controlling and managing the game to avoid suspicion. It takes the deliberate manipulation of her fellow Traitor Wilfred to ultimately eliminate her.
  • Intergenerational Friendship: With Aaron, Theo and Maddy, all of whom are young enough to be her children.
  • Team Mom: She ends up taking this role within the group of contestants, mostly by boosting morale and keeping everyone’s heads in the game. As a Traitor, she uses this role to bond and form alliances with Theo and Momma's Boy Aaron.
  • Treachery Is a Special Kind of Evil: Invoked in Amanda's case (it's par for the course for Traitors). Will raises his "suspicion" about Amanda (he knows she's a Traitor) turning on Theo the day after saying he was the one person she was convinced was 100% Faithful. This point causes her banishment.

     Andrea
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a0149a66_31eb_4d90_9bab_8caafcb9341c.jpeg
Ranking: 5th Place (8th murder)
Age: 72
Occupation: Retired
Alignment: Faithful

  • Cool Old Lady: The show's oldest contestant, and a lesbian who used to work in a bar popular with Old Hollywood celebrities like Ava Gardner.
  • Intergenerational Friendship: With almost all of the contestants given how much older she is than most of them, but particularly with Amos, whose murder causes her to break down in tears.

     Maddy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/2e171c87_ae53_4382_b151_60fae4f16f34.jpeg
Ranking: 4th Place (9th banishment)
Age: 29
Occupation: Receptionist & Actress
Alignment: Faithful

  • Cassandra Truth: She was right about Wilfred from very early on... and no-one believed her. It didn't help her case that she cast him in an evil triumvirate with the other two Traitors she "knew" beforehand (Aaron and Meryl), who no-one else considered and ultimately went on to win the show.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Her unusual methods of reasoning and tendency to make bizarre, random comments at inappropriate times (such as starting a discussion about how people in the care home she works at had died on the toilet while she and her fellow contestants are eating dinner) puts her firmly in this territory. She's been compared by fans to Alice from The Vicar of Dibley.
  • The Cloud Cuckoolander Was Right: About Wilfred being a Traitor.
  • Internal Reveal: While she works full-time as a receptionist in a care home, she's also a professional actress who's appeared in EastEnders and CASUAL+Y, something she hid from her fellow contestants (though the audience knew from the very beginning), until she reveals it unprompted in Episode 8.
  • Honor Before Reason: Maddy could've chosen to take money earlier in the game from her other teammates and be banished. She chose not to, but was banished anyway.
  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: She gets offered it as a gameplay mechanic in Episode 8. After the dinner party, the contestants are asked to name the person there that they most trust, with each person named sitting down. Upon becoming the person left standing, she is offered the chance to leave with the day's prize pot (£3,000), or to turn it down and put it back in the prize pot. She doesn't take the offer, though it should be noted that she also had won the shield that day, protecting her from murder (which nobody bar her knew). She does joke during her banishment that she should have taken the £3,000.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons:
    • In Episode 2, after Aaron breaks down upon being suspected of being a Traitor, Maddy incorrectly assumes that his breakdown came from being accused by a fellow Traitor, namely Wilfred. While she's wrong about Aaron's breakdown, she's completely correct that Wilfred is a Traitor.
    • Not only that, but in Episode 6, Wilfred does accuse a fellow Traitor (Alyssa) at the Roundtable, causing her to break down in tears, but Maddy fails to spot it. Incredibly, Wilfred does it again in Episode 10, being the casting vote to banish Amanda, and she doesn't spot it then either.
  • Senseless Sacrifice: Maddy could've chosen to take some money from the prize pot and be banished. She wanted to show that she was Faithful, so she chose not to take it. They banished her anyway a few days later.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: After spending most of the game accusing Wilfred directly and being ignored, she accidentally deals him a fatal blow by (incorrectly) reporting to Kieran that Wilfred was stirring suspicion against him. This apparent betrayal puts Kieran into a cold rage which sends the "bro code" Traitor pairing into a death spiral. If they hadn't fought that day, Wilfred might not have turned on him for real and Kieran might not have been angry enough to risk taking Wilfred down with him. No one ever seemed to use the tactic of outright lying about other players' actions; it really does seem that Maddy just got confused about who had said what.

     Kieran
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/f1ca44c2_8a22_48fc_93a9_dff047030a8d.jpeg
Ranking: 3rd Place (10th banishment)
Age: 42
Occupation: Solutions Consultant
Alignment: Originally Faithful, recruited as a Traitor in Episode 11

  • The Bus Came Back: In Episode 5, he returns to the show at the end of the mission after having previously been thought to have been eliminated.
  • Exact Words: In Episode 1, the contestants are asked to stand in order of who they believe is most likely to win, with him and Amos standing at the end, a decision which results in them being removed from the game. However, in Episode 5, it's revealed that they weren't eliminated from the game, as the only way to leave is either by banishment or being murdered, and they both return.
  • Face–Heel Turn: In Episode 11, he switches sides to become a Traitor.
  • Join or Die: Wilfred does this to him (surprisingly literally) in Episode 11, when his choice was to join the Traitors team or be eliminated by murder on the spot. To the surprise of no-one, he didn't choose death.
  • "Leave Your Quest" Test: In Episode 11, in a face-to-face meeting with the last remaining Traitor, he is offered the chance to join them, with the ultimatum that refusing will result in automatic murder, but accepting will allow them to murder another Faithful instead. He accepts, and he and his fellow Traitor Wilfred then decide to murder Andrea.
  • Manly Tears: Breaks down crying after Amos gets murdered.
  • Taking You with Me: Pulls a non-lethal version. Upon realising he will be voted out at the final Roundtable no matter what due to Wilfred’s manipulation, he decides that if he can’t get the prize money, then he’ll make sure it goes to the Faithfuls instead. Before his exit, he all-but explicitly names Wilfred as a fellow Traitor, which results in the remaining Faithfuls turning on Wilfred at the last minute and banishing him too.
  • Thanatos Gambit: He works out by the end of Episode 12 that his fellow Traitor Wilfred has convinced the other contestants to banish him. So he responds by naming Wilfred as a Traitor in the final vote as "a parting gift", banking on the other contestants picking up on it and banishing Wilfred too. It works.
  • Walking Spoiler: His continued survival after his removal in Episode 1, and his actions in Episodes 11 and 12, make him this.

     Wilfred
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/de1ea698_af1c_4b92_bf3f_1a7f60fc47bc.jpeg
Ranking: 2nd Place (11th banishment)
Age: 28
Occupation: Senior Fundraiser
Alignment: Traitor

  • Betrayal Insurance: He raises fellow Traitor Amanda as a suspect because he thinks she'll betray him first. She doesn't, and Amanda ends up eliminated that same night.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Being a Traitor, he has to be this due to how the game works but he deserves special mention given that he not only commits murders against the Faithful, but also successfully convinces them to vote out his fellow Traitors to ward off suspicion against himself (Alyssa, Amanda and Kieran, in that order). Ultimately, backstabbing Kieran backfires on him hard, since as it gives Kieran the motive to implicate him as a Traitor before his exit from the competition, causing him to be banished himself shortly after.
  • Consummate Liar: Manages to fool everyone for the majority of the series into thinking he's a Faithful, despite being frequently under suspicion from Maddy. In Episode 12 however, after Kieran's Thanatos Gambit, he starts to collapse, with his erratic behaviour ultimately flagging him as suspicious and getting him banished at the final hurdle.
  • Exact Words: "I want you to be as traitorous as possible" to Kieran. We know how THAT turned out for him.
  • Hidden Depths: Neither his fellow contestants, nor the audience, learned about his background as both a dancer and a boxer until it became relevant in Episode 10 thanks to the challenge requiring him to navigate a Laser Hallway - which he successfully does twice.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Having manipulated the banishments to stab his fellow Traitors Alyssa, Amanda and Kieran in the back, he eventually gets taken out in the final banishment by Kieran's Thanatos Gambit.
  • I Did What I Had to Do: How he justifies betraying fellow Traitor Alyssa, which results in her being banished.
  • Manipulative Bastard: By necessity as a Traitor, but his backstabbing of his fellow Traitors solidifies his status as such.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Wilfred is a villain by the standard of the show as he's a Traitor, and he votes against both fellow Traitors Amanda and Alyssa. He also recruits Kieran as a Traitor, and Kieran backstabs him at the Roundtable.
  • Saying Too Much: Hannah believes that Wilfred is Faithful until he says that he'd never speak to her again if she voted for him.
  • Taking You with Me: A non-lethal version causes his elimination. After working out that he's been manipulating the game to ensure his fellow Traitor gets voted out, Kieran votes for him as a Traitor at the final Roundtable as a "parting gift", resulting in Hannah and Aaron, who had previously been loyal to him throughout the game, getting suspicious and ultimately voting him out too.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Once the Faithfuls turn on him following Kieran voting for him as a Traitor at the final Roundtable, he completely loses his composure and begins desperately defending himself with any excuse he can muster. His sudden and dramatic change in behaviour is what convinces Hannah and Aaron to hold another banishment vote, leading to him being eliminated and outed as a Traitor.
  • Walking Spoiler: By far the contestant who has the biggest impact on the overall game, and as a result many of his actions spoil major events in the show.

     Meryl
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1a7c5d27_50af_4198_a734_7e3c336f485d.jpeg
Ranking: Winner
Age: 25
Occupation: Call Centre Agent
Alignment: Faithful

  • Cannot Keep a Secret: The reason the Traitors give as to why they don't want to recruit her, as they cannot take the risk of her revealing herself or others to the group. When she wins a shield in Episode 9, she openly tells her teammates she has it, unlike everyone else previously, who made a point not to tell anyone (even their own teammates) so that the possibility of any of their team members having the shield might deter the Traitors from murdering them.
  • Dwarfism in Media: She's a dwarf thanks to achondroplasia. By virtue of winning the show, she noted she might possibly be the first dwarf to win a Reality TV series.
  • Motor Mouth: She often explains her reasonings for her accusations at a rapid pace.

     Hannah
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/044696ca_277a_4bac_845d_5ee43beb56be.jpeg
Ranking: Winner
Age: 32
Occupation: Comedian
Alignment: Faithful

  • Undying Loyalty: To Wilfred. Hannah would always defend him when he was accused of being a Traitor, confidently claiming him to be a hundred percent Faithful. Wilfred actually is a Traitor, and has her wrapped around his finger until Kieran's hints make the penny drop for Hannah at the last minute.

     Aaron
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bc6a6684_b6f4_4a29_9b26_02dcbc8db27b.jpeg
Ranking: Winner
Age: 24
Occupation: Property Agent
Alignment: Faithful

  • Extremely Protective Child: Aaron doesn't even really believe that Wilfred is a Traitor, but he votes against him because "I need to put my mum first."
  • Intergenerational Friendship: With Amanda, who's old enough to be his mother, and Andrea, who's old enough to be his grandmother. His friendship with Amanda means he doesn't even consider the idea that she might be a Traitor until she is eliminated.
  • Momma's Boy: His plan for the money if he won the show was to put down a deposit on a house for his mother.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: In Episode 11, he mentions that he thinks Kieran is a Traitor, assuming he had turned on his fellow Traitor Amanda the night before. While Kieran is a Traitor, he had not been until after Amanda's elimination, getting recruited as a Traitor later that night. To add insult to injury, the person he says this to, Wilfred, is also a Traitor.

Season 2 Contestants

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0168_5.jpeg
Cast of Season 2

     Aubrey
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0173.png
Ranking: 22nd Place (1st murder)
Age: 67
Occupation: Retired Shop Owner
Alignment: Faithful

  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Didn’t get much of a chance to make a first impression before his murder, though what was seen of Aubrey painted him as a confident man who was prepared to be ruthless. These traits were likely why he was targeted.

     Sonja
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0187.png
Ranking: 21st Place (1st banishment)
Age: 66
Occupation: Volunteer Business Mentor
Alignment: Faithful

  • Achievements in Ignorance: At the first breakfast, Sonja decides that she would jokingly ask her fellow players point-blank whether they are a Traitor. The first person who she happens to question is Ash, an actual Traitor. Ash's reaction to the question manages to make her look suspicious to the people who bore witness.
  • Divide and Conquer: Subverted. She is banished when Ross accuses her of doing this, using an innocuous conversation between him and Zach to try to make them suspect one another. However, she wasn't "stirring the pot" as they feared and was in fact Faithful.

     Kyra
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0174.png
Ranking: 20th Place (2nd murder)
Age: 21
Occupation: Apprentice Economist
Alignment: Faithful

  • Straight for the Commander: Was outspoken and established herself as a strong personality capable of leading the banishment discussions. This gets her selected for murder early in the hopes the remaining Faithful will be more disorganized in the next Roundtable.

     Brian
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0184.png
Ranking: 19th Place (2nd banishment)
Age: 33
Occupation: Photographer
Alignment: Faithful

  • Digging Yourself Deeper: Brian likely would've survived the second Roundtable if he'd kept quiet or pled his case more effectively during the vote (since he was up against an actual Traitor, Ash).
  • Draw Aggro: Done entirely accidentally. After finding out he was voted the "biggest sheep" by the group he decides to try to act more confident in the next Roundtable. However, all this does is draw undue suspicion on himself. In the precious last few moments of the Roundtable, he even draws all focus back to himself when the rest of the contestants had begun to move on to other suspects, such as Ash who really was a Traitor. It earned him enough votes to cause him to wind up in a tense draw for elimination alongside Ash and Diane, and ended with him banished by a one-vote difference.

     Ash
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0169.png
Ranking: 18th Place (3rd banishment)
Age: 45
Occupation: Events Coordinator
Alignment: Traitor

  • Obviously Evil: In terms of gameplay, Ash comes under suspicion much earlier than any other Traitor on the UK series, and is unable to shake that suspicion until she's banished third; and she near-certainly would've been banished second had Brian not panicked and talked himself into being banished in her place.
  • Pushed at the Monster: Again, in terms of gameplay. Paul and Harry sacrifice her to the rest of the group because they believe she's too obvious and not a skilled enough liar.
  • Super Gullible: Ash appears to believe that Paul and Harry won't backstab her, even after they have already backstabbed her at the second Roundtable.
  • Undying Loyalty: Ash does not turn against her fellow Traitors, even after seeing them turn against her. She actually tries to steer the conversation away from him at her final Roundtable. She stated on the Traitors:Uncloaked podcast that she didn't turn on them or send a "parting gift" because she still wanted "Team Traitor" to win.

     Meg
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0189.png
Ranking: 17th Place (3rd murder)
Age: 22
Occupation: Illustrator
Alignment: Faithful

  • Cheated Death, Died Anyway: In reality TV show terms, anyway. Meg survives the Roundtable in the fourth episode (protecting herself from banishment) and is then definitively "murdered" (because Paul, the only other person eligible for murder, is a Traitor).
  • Foregone Conclusion: When Andrew is given the shield, Meg is doomed no matter what. Either she survives the Roundtable (which is ultimately what happens), in which case, she has to be murdered because she's the only other eligible person; or she is banished and taken out of the game.
  • Morton's Fork: In the fourth episode, since Andrew is given the shield over her, it's already guaranteed that Meg has to either be banished or get murdered. She is the only Faithful left of the condemned and therefore, if she's not banished at the Roundtable, which she isn't, the Traitors have to murder her (because the only other person left who can be murdered is Paul, who's a Traitor and therefore is exempt from murder).
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: At least in terms of Meg's specific game. She is a major Red Herring who comes under a lot of suspicion (despite being Faithful). She likely would've survived being murdered over Andrew. However, the Faithful choosing to give the shield to Andrew prevents him from being murdered, leaving Meg as the only other Faithful who is condemned and therefore eligible for murder.
  • The Quiet One: Much like Alyssa from Season 1, she’s a quiet girl whose silence draws suspicion from those around her. Unlike Alyssa, however, Meg is actually a Faithful.
  • Red Herring: Meg is a major suspect to be a Traitor, but is actually Faithful.

     Jonny
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0190.png
Ranking: 16th Place (4th banishment)
Age: 31
Occupation: Ex-Military
Alignment: Faithful

  • A Death in the Limelight: The episode in which he is banished focuses heavily on him, devoting time from the confessionals to him talking about his time in the military.
  • Artificial Limbs: Jonny lost his leg after driving over a land mine in Afghanistan, and uses a prosthetic.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Invoked. He gets banished because the others grow suspicious of him for being so quiet during banishment discussions whilst being so outgoing and talkative normally.

     Tracey
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0186.png
Ranking: 15th Place (4th murder)
Age: 58
Occupation: Sonographer & Clairvoyant
Alignment: Faithful

  • New-Age Retro Hippie: Averted. Makes it clear that just because she is a self-professed clairvoyant it doesn't mean she believes in just anything and works to prove she is just as rational and grounded as the rest.

     Anthony
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0175.png
Ranking: 14th Place (5th banishment)
Age: 45
Occupation: Chess Coach
Alignment: Faithful

  • Aloof Ally: Is a Faithful but his demeanour and decision to keep to himself rather than form alliances earns suspicion from Diane and Charlotte.
  • The Social Darwinist: Played with. Harry talks Anthony into this line of thinking. Anthony, keen to defend himself from Zack's suspicions, is convinced to lead a discussion against him, aiming to get Zack banished regardless of allegiance - either getting rid of a Traitor or removing a "bad Faithful" from the game.

     Diane
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0180.png
Ranking: 13th Place (5th murder)
Age: 63
Occupation: Retired Teacher
Alignment: Faithful

  • Attending Your Own Funeral: Because Diane's "poison" is slow-acting, she leads her own funeral procession in Episode 7 after being "murdered" at the end of Episode 6, and is Buried Alive at the end.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Diane is convinced that Anthony is a Traitor from the word go due to his actions prior to the Traitor selection, but refuses to believe that Paul could be one, at one point even having a talk with Jaz in which she attempted to convince him to let go of his suspicions.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Becomes convinced that Anthony is a Traitor since, during the line-up at the start of the gamenote , he refused to let her in the line in front of him. Note that this event occurred prior to the selection of the Traitors, and as such Anthony couldn't possibly have been one at that point. When Diane justifies her line of thinking she points out that it indicated a willingness to play selfishly which could be indicative of being the sort of person who would willingly play the role of a traitor, however by this logic her own attempt to convince him to let her in the line above him could be seen as indicating a willingness to play selfishly on her part.
  • Parent-Child Team: Unknown to the other contestants, she is Ross' mother and they're trying to work together to ensure at least one of them wins. While there is suspicion that she is somebody's mother, most people think it's Paul. It is only until after she dies and Ross is being banished that this information is given to the remaining players.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: In Episode 2, Diane correctly deduces Ash as a Traitor. However, she believes this because Ash was seen talking to Anthony, who she wrongly guesses to be her collaborator and a fellow Traitor.
  • Your Days Are Numbered: Unlike all the other Season 1 or Season 2 "victims" until that point, who are killed off immediately, Diane's poison is "slow-acting" and so she participates in Episode 7 despite being killed in Episode 6.

     Miles
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0178.png
Ranking: 12th Place (6th banishment)
Age: 36
Occupation: Veterinary Nurse
Alignment: Originally Faithful, recruited as a Traitor in Episode 2

  • Face–Heel Turn: While not originally a Traitor, the starting Traitors chose to recruit him as a Traitor during the first night, which, unlike the recruitments during the first series, he was forced to accept.
  • Framing the Guilty Party: His fate. He did poison Diane, but his co-conspirators Paul and Harry turn on him and accuse him alone of having done it, when all three were involved.
  • Master Poisoner: Played with. It is the role he is handed when the Traitors have to kill in plain sight. Given his pre-existing reputation for handing out drinks he's the one who gives Diane the poisoned chalice, but actually retrieving the chalice and getting everyone in position is a group effort by the Traitors.
  • Oh, Crap!: Gives a masterful one when he walks in to see that Diane is still eating breakfast and "alive" after he poisoned her.

     Paul
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0181.png
Ranking: 11th Place (7th banishment)
Age: 36
Occupation: Business Manager
Alignment: Traitor

  • Dissonant Serenity: His cool and calm demeanour as a Traitor is a stark contrast to the rightfully paranoid and cautious Faithfuls, which Zack and Jaz point out as suspicious in Episode 4.
  • Graceful Loser: When Harry turns against him at the roundtable and gets him voted off, Paul bows proudly when saying goodbye to the team, and compliments Harry on his gameplay in his confessional.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Paul attempts a Kansas City Shuffle of turning the group against Ash due to his (correct) evaluation that she's weak, and then puts himself in the dungeon with Ash (assuming they will think she's the Obvious Judas). However, he also overestimates how popular he is, and is not given immunity. Andrew is given it instead, and Ash is banished. This leaves Paul having to murder Meg (as he can't be murdered, since he's a Traitor), and under a lot of suspicion. It ultimately gets him banished, as most people who vote for him cite this as the moment that they became suspicious of him.
  • I Have a Family: When Paul gets called out for being suspicious, he tells the others that he's missing his family and that he's prepared to go home to them.
  • Incriminating Indifference: For Brian. Brian suspects Paul is a Traitor (correctly) because he doesn't stand up for Brian when the team turns on him due to Brian's severe anxiety, which Paul knew about.
  • Kansas City Shuffle: Paul attempts to fool the group by feeding them the arguably weaker Traitor, Ash, and leaving them to assume he's innocent. It backfires.
  • Large Ham: In his confessionals, he takes pleasure in using an Evil Laugh and boasting about his ability to outmanoeuvre the other players.
  • Psychotic Smirk: Invoked. Jaz comes to be suspicious of Paul because he sees Paul's smile, noting that Paul's Dissonant Serenity shows him as a Traitor (because he's calm).
  • Smug Snake: Paul's Fatal Flaw appears to be that he overestimates his own abilities and popularity. For instance, in Episode 4, having put himself in the dungeon, he takes it for granted that the other players will save him over Andrew or Ash. They don't - they save Andrew, causing Paul’s plan to backfire spectacularly.
  • Suicidal Overconfidence: "Suicidal" only in terms of how the game is played. Paul firmly believes he will receive immunity from murder from the group. He doesn't; it goes to Andrew. This throws a huge wrench in his plans to murder Meg or Andrew, leaving him no option but to "kill" Meg. He the gets even more suicidally overconfident with his banishing of Miles, which leads Harry to be suspicious of him.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: Many of the Faithful (such as Anthony, Jaz and Evie) are genuinely suspicious of Paul, especially after he returned from the dungeon in Episode 5 rather than Meg. However, all are reluctant to push the idea as it'd draw his attention to them and know his popularity with the others will make it difficult to rally together enough votes to banish him anyway.

     Charlie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0182.png
Ranking: 10th Place (6th murder)
Age: 34
Occupation: Mental Health Area Manager
Alignment: Faithful

  • Identical Stranger: Charlie and Evie found it quite amusing that it took so long for many viewers to realise they were two different people and "not the same blonde person." It's possible this was invoked by the producers to create suspicion among the contestants that they were related. Charlie also lampshades she suspects this was the case in her Uncloaked interview.

     Charlotte
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0170.png
Ranking: 9th Place (8th banishment)
Age: 32
Occupation: Recruitment Manager
Alignment: Faithful

  • Frame-Up: Was closest friends to Charlie. Harry correctly predicts that murdering Charlie will make people suspicious that Charlotte was recruited and tried to kill her friend to avert suspicion. It works.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: She consistently calls Zach out on the way he approaches conversation and finds his mannerisms jarring. However, she didn't let those personal misgivings influence her to ever vote against him at the Roundtable or lead a discussion against him. In fact they actually vote for the same person more often than not. In the vote where Charlotte is banished, Zack is one of the only two other people at the table who doesn't vote for her.

     Ross
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0179.png
Ranking: 8th Place (9th banishment)
Age: 28
Occupation: Video Director
Alignment: Originally Faithful, recruited as a Traitor in Episode 9

  • Aside Glance: Literally winks at the camera when he's "joking" with Jasmine about Diane being his mother in Episode 7.
  • Disappointed by the Motive: When he joins the Traitors one of his first questions is why they selected Diane for murder. Upon hearing Harry's reasoning is that she got "too brave" and needed to be "put in her place" rather than viewing her with respect as a legitimate threat, Ross is not impressed. Instead of becoming a loyal ally he seems keen to spend his time with the Traitors as a Bastard Understudy.
  • Epic Fail: Upon hearing Harry's motive for killing Diane, he plans to take Harry down as revenge. He proceeds to get banished after one day as a Traitor, and spends most of that time trying to target Zack and Andrew (the latter is particularly baffling, since Andrew was attempting to make a possible alliance against Harry). Admittedly he had heat on him before being recruited, which is part of why Harry recruited him in the first place.
  • Face–Heel Turn: He's offered an invitation to join the Traitors in Episode 9. He accepts but has his own agenda, working from the inside to take down Harry to avenge Diane.
  • It's Personal: After learning that his mother was the one who was poisoned, he redoubled his efforts to catch the one who poisoned her, which he does by helping to banish Miles - the one who did the deed - at the very next Roundtable.
  • Parent-Child Team: Unknown to the other contestants, he is Diane's son and they're trying to work together to ensure at least one of them wins. He does reveal this information when he is banished given that by then, Diane was dead.
  • You Killed My Mother: Ross' stated reason for why he'll betray Harry (since Andrew wasn't recruited then) is that he "killed" Diane, and because Harry stated she was getting too confident. Unfortunately, he ends up being banished before he can get his revenge.

     Zack
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0176.png
Ranking: 7th Place (7th murder)
Age: 27
Occupation: Parliamentary Affairs Advisor
Alignment: Faithful

  • The Cassandra: Nobody pays much attention to his suggestion that Diane and Paul are mother and son, though he's closer to the mark than anyone knows.
  • Conspiracy Theorist: Zack says in one of his confessionals that he's a believer in conspiracies. It comes through in how he plays the game too, coming up with lots of theories and casually throwing around ideas and suspicions more openly than the other contestants. How close his theories actually get to the truth range wildly from completely off to accidentally closer than even he seriously seems to think. Ironically, this is partly how he survived the game for so long, because he causes enough chaos at the Roundtable to benefit the Traitors.
  • Epic Fail: In Episode 9's task, the players were split into pairs to carry a bag of money to the end of a course while answering questions to avoid traps - the idea behind the pairs being that if one player fell into the trap, another could still finish, essentially giving one free failure. Except Zack decided to carry the bag of money with him into the trap rather than leaving it with Jaz, rendering this moot and losing the Faithful £2000.
  • Failed a Spot Check: In Episode 6, all three Traitors are outside talking about how to murder someone with a poisoned chalice in plain sight. Zack walks right to the front porch and glances outside but fails to spot the conspirators. He could've seen all three Traitors conspiring had he just wandered a little further out.
  • Mirthless Laughter: His sense of humour doesn't mix too well with the other contestants. With him smiling or laughing at inopportune times and some of his jokes are viewed by the others as awkward or even rude. It manages to make him look very suspicious to the others even though he's a Faithful.
  • Motor Mouth: Zack explains his theories and asks questions to the other players at a very rapid pace, and often ends up speaking over the others while he's talking, making it difficult for them to get a word in themselves when talking to him.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Latches onto the theory that since nobody got murdered at the end of Episode 9, the Traitors must've targeted Harry and therefore can only be the three people who didn't know he had the shield: Ross, Jasmine, and Evie. He pushes this theory, disregarding alternate ideas like the Traitors recruited instead of murdering (what actually happened) and manages to get Ross banished, which seems like a victory. However, Harry and Andrew planned to sacrifice Ross anyway to lull the Faithful into a false sense of security, leaving Jasmine and Evie under suspicion at a time that the Faithfuls' numbers are dwindling. Harry and Andrew then kill Zack before he has long enough to figure out his mistake. His theory even goes on to outlive him, being responsible for banishing Jasmine in the next episode and Evie during the finale.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: Zack is the only person to guess that Diane is competing with her son. However, he thinks it's Paul - it's actually Ross.

     Jasmine
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0185.png
Ranking: 6th Place (10th banishment)
Age: 26
Occupation: Sales Executive
Alignment: Faithful

  • Horrible Judge of Character: Jasmine works hard at coming up with theories and can lead a Roundtable discussion against other players. Unfortunately, her suspicions are often wrong to a harmful degree. Her theories get several innocent Faithfuls - such as Jonny and Charlotte - banished. She also winds up defending Ross, not realising he's a Traitor (admittedly not completely her fault as he'd only been recruited the night before, but still). In her final Roundtable she tells the others that if she gets banished, then they should all go for Evie next.
  • Red Herring: Jasmine is Faithful, but the Traitors are convinced that the rest of the team will turn on her at the end of Episode 9. She makes it through by the skin of her teeth, but is banished before she can reach the final.

     Evie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0188.png
Ranking: 5th Place (11th banishment)
Age: 29
Occupation: Veterinary Nurse
Alignment: Faithful

  • Identical Stranger: Evie and Charlie found it quite amusing that it took so long for many viewers to realise they were two different people and "not the same blonde person." It's possible this was invoked by the producers to create suspicion among the contestants that they were related.
  • The Quiet One: Evie rarely speaks during Roundtable discussions but it slowly becomes clear from her confessionals that she's been listening closely and picked up on more correct suspicions for it, correctly feeling both Paul and then Harry could be Traitors.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Evie frequently claims to have no idea who the Traitors are, but she admits in private confessionals that she is (correctly) suspicious of both Paul and Harry.
  • Your Days Are Numbered: During Episode 11 she argues for Zach's shield theory proving that either she or Jasmine must be a Traitor, and it isn't her, so it must be Jasmine. When Jasmine is revealed to be Faithful, Evie realises that she's now condemned by her own logic and is pretty much guaranteed to be the next banishment. She can only whisper "I'm f*cked". The sense of impending doom apparently knocked her off her game too much to come up with any alternative theories, and she walked into the Roundtable correctly aware that it was hopeless.

     Andrew
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0183.png
Ranking: 4th Place (12th banishment)
Age: 45
Occupation: Insurance Broker
Alignment: Originally Faithful, recruited as a Traitor in Episode 8

  • Being Evil Sucks: Andrew is the Traitor who confesses to having the biggest emotional burden in performing his duties and, when he's finally banished, he says that it was a relief to not have to perform that role anymore.
  • The Big Guy: Andrew is an avid fan of hitting the gym and working out, as evidenced by his muscular build, making him useful in the more physical challenges. However, it does make it hard for him to move around in the tunnels during the Episode 9 challenge, forcing him to swap with Jaz.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Is recruited to join the Traitors in Episode 8. He accepts because he fears he'll be killed if he doesn't and is immediately - and rightfully - suspicious that Harry and Paul have only brought him onboard to feed him to the Faithful at a Roundtable so they can get into the final. Fortunately for him, Paul ends up being banished, and he makes it to the final four. Unfortunately, Harry ends up feeding him to the Faithful during the endgame leading to his banishment.
  • Scars Are Forever: Has a visible scar across the back of his head from where he survived a car accident.
  • Who Needs Enemies?: Andrew is recruited to the Traitors, leaving him with only them as his "allies" in the game. But he only does it because he views it as a Join or Die scenario (thinking he'll be murdered the next night if he refuses), correctly assumes they're only doing it to use him as cannon fodder, and is able to retroactively realize how they've all been turning on each other for the entire game. He knows immediately he'll likely be thrown to the wolves at the first opportunity, although in the end, it was only during the Endgame that he was finally banished.

     Jaz
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0171.png
Ranking: 3rd Place (13th banishment)
Age: 30
Occupation: National Account Manager
Alignment: Faithful

  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Jaz speaks up only rarely, but he is the biggest "Traitor Hunter" of Series 2, correctly pegging both Paul and Harry as Traitors. However, he plays his cards close to his chest so he's not suspected as a threat. This ultimately backfires on him at the endgame, as he has no obvious allies to turn to, and Mollie banishes him for his "unnecessary" paranoia.
  • Cassandra Truth: His deductions are very good but he holds zero sway in convincing anyone else:
    • From very early on he is certain Paul is a Traitor but spends half the show struggling to convince anyone else of that idea.
    • Right after Paul is banished he begins to suspect Harry. He even lays out his reasoning to Zack and Evie, correctly deducing that Harry overshared and was too specific in taking down Paul. In confessionals, Zack laughs off the idea and thinks Jaz is completely wrong.
    • Leaning heavily on the "prophecy" side of the trope's namesake, he correctly predicts Andrew and Ross as Traitors too. He votes for Andrew twice before he's actually recruited in Episode 8, and Ross gets recruited the same episode Jaz starts to suspect he was a prime candidate for recruitment.
    • During the finale, Jaz correctly deduces that there’s still a Traitor left, and attempts to convince Mollie that they need to continue the game and vote out Harry. Unfortunately, as Mollie believed that there were no more Traitors left in the game, she votes Jaz out instead believing he was unnecessarily paranoid, handing Harry the victory in the process.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Jaz is easily the Faithful's strongest detective, being among the first to suspect Paul and the only one to suspect Harry. Unfortunately, what he lacks is a strong social game, leading to the Traitors overlooking him as a threat due to the fact that he has a hard time convincing Faithful to vote alongside him. Ultimately, this costs him the game, as he makes it to the final three with Traitor Harry and Harry's closest ally, Mollie, and his attempt to convince Mollie to banish Harry backfired on him.
  • Dramatic Irony: Jaz figures out that Paul is a Traitor, and he tells Harry... unaware at that time that Harry was also a Traitor.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Jaz says in confessionals and at the roundtable itself that he genuinely never expected Miles to be a Traitor, and was taken aback when he learned that he was one.
  • Fatal Flaw: His introversion. Jaz tends to be quiet and as such struggles to gather close allies in the game, especially compared to Traitors Paul and Harry who are far more charismatic and able to sway others to their side. As such, Jaz learns quickly to wait for the opportune moment to strike, and the few times he does voice his suspicion his theories are written off by his fellow Faithful due to their belief in those he suspects, leading to him sit on his suspicions. While it leads to him being overlooked by the Traitors who fail to see him as a threat due to his inability to convince people to vote with him, this contributes to the Faithful losing the game, as he doesn't discuss his suspicions of Harry in detail with Mollie, and during the final vote they don't have the ability to engage in much further discussion, and Mollie instead chooses to vote to banish him over her long-time ally, Harry.
  • Hero with Bad Publicity: Jaz is absolutely right in his long-held suspicions about Paul and Harry, but consistently struggles with convincing other people to vote with him. The times Jaz does speak up during Roundtables it usually backfires and gets thrown back as him being the one looking suspicious. When he's finally vindicated by Paul being voted out, it was only because Harry led the discussion against Paul and still nearly half the table voted for Jaz. In Harry’s case, he was unable to convince Mollie to banish him at the crucial final vote, leading to Jaz’s own banishment and Harry’s victory.
  • I Never Said It Was Poison: While he's not alone in suspecting Paul, he's the only one with any serious suspicions of Harry. This suspicion comes from a conversation with Paul in which he revealed details of a conversation Jaz had with Harry where he mentioned his suspicions. Jaz correctly surmises that Harry would only have told Paul if they were both Traitors. Unfortunately, he's unable to convince others.
  • Properly Paranoid: Mollie accuses him of being paranoid in the endgame about her suspicions towards Harry as she believes both Jaz and Harry are Faithfuls. He's correct.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: Jaz suspects that Andrew had been recruited by the Traitors and voted for him twice. He was wrong... then. Later in the season, Andrew is recruited by the Traitors.

     Mollie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0172.png
Ranking: 2nd Place (Runner-Up)
Age: 21
Occupation: Disability Model
Alignment: Faithful

  • Last-Second Ending Choice: During the final 3, Jaz votes to Banish again due to his suspicions of Harry. During the final vote, she goes as far as writing Harry's name down on her board... but changes her mind at the last moment, voting to banish Jaz. Unfortunately for her, Jaz was 100% correct in his assumptions, and as such this choice hands Harry the victory.
  • Wide-Eyed Idealist: At the Roundtable in Episode 9, she says she finds it odd that Jaz is going off and having whispered conversations with small groups of people instead of openly talking about his suspicions to everyone. She puts forth an argument that with so few of them left they need to be more open and working as a team more than ever. Meanwhile, the person she trusts the most (and that Jaz is trying to prevent learning he suspects him) is Harry. This ultimately costs the Faithful the game as, when Jaz votes to banish again due to his suspicions of Harry, she votes to banish him due to her faith in Harry, who was in fact a Traitor. note

     Harry
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0177.png
Ranking: Winner
Age: 22
Occupation: British Army Engineer
Alignment: Traitor

  • The Baby of the Bunch: Harry claims to want to use his young age to allow the others to underestimate him.
  • Band of Brothers: Played with but ultimately subverted. He is reluctant to cast suspicion on Jonny because he respects their shared military background, but ends up voting with the group against him. He takes having to betray him especially hard.
  • Dragon Ascendant: He is positioned as The Dragon to Paul's Big Bad for the first handful of episodes of Series 2. But, when Paul leads the banishment of Miles and he hears that Paul mentioned his name as a potential Traitor, Harry leads the charge at the Roundtable to banish Paul (successfully). He's then treated as the leader of the Traitors from there on out, and proudly says in confessionals that he thinks he can outmanoeuvre everyone else.
  • Fake Ultimate Hero: Harry works hard to position himself as a "Traitor Hunter" among the Faithful all while actually being one of the Traitors himself:
    • He understands everyone is suspicious of Ash already so decides to step forward and be the first one to mention her name at the Roundtable that night, leading the charge that gets her banished.
    • Spends all of Episode 7 pretending to be an Amateur Sleuth, keeping meticulous track of who gave who drinks the night before, helping everyone get the story straight in their heads that Miles is the prime suspect for the poisoner.
    • When he catches wind that people are favouring Paul for banishment, he lays out Paul's entire gameplan at the Roundtable as if he figured it out himself from deduction (rather than just being a first-hand witness), leading the resolve in the others to vote Paul out. With another Traitor banished, Harry takes the lion's share of the credit for catching him and is positioned in a very favourable light to most of the remaining Faithful.
    • Knowing the rest of the Faithful would get suspicious if he wasn't targeted by the Traitors for elimination after earning his "Traitor Hunter" reputation, he secretly snags himself a Shield in the next challenge so he can cover up recruiting Ross and when everyone show up to breakfast the next day, can claim his shield protected him from an attempt to murder him from the Traitors.
    • In the penultimate challenge he receives the sacred sword and is given the option to put £7000 into the prize pot or straight into his own bank account. He makes the seemingly selfless decision to choose the prize pot, but reveals in confessionals he's only doing it to solidify the idea in the other's minds that he's a team player. In reality, he knows there's a reasonable chance he'll be the one to walk away with that £7000 and the rest of the prize pot anyway since he's the Traitor with the least suspicion on him, so he’s fine with risking it. In the end, the gamble pays off.
  • Just One Little Mistake: Subverted. This seems like it's going to happen to Harry in the finale: at the very end, Jaz raises the fact that Harry told Paul much earlier in the series about Jaz's well-founded suspicions that he (Paul) was a traitor and deduces that Harry would've only done this if he was also a traitor. Jaz votes to banish again and votes off Harry — but (after initially voting Harry), Mollie changes her mind and votes out Jaz. This ultimately seals the win for Harry.
  • Meet the New Boss: Once Harry becomes the leader of the Traitors after Paul’s banishment, he becomes increasingly more cocky and prone to overcomplicated and risky tactics, much like Paul. He also ends up inheriting Paul’s rivalry with Jaz, a group of players completely loyal to him, and a Traitor secretly scheming to stab him in the back when it’s most convenient - although the latter he was able to deal with quickly.
