Season one

    Reza

Reza

Ranking: 20th Place (1st murder)
Age: 48
Alignment: Faithful

  • The Rival: Had a version of this with Michael. However, it was cut short because he was killed after the very first episode.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: He participated in one challenge and was promptly murdered at the beginning of the second episode. As such, he was the only participant to never be seen at the roundtable.

    Geraldine

Geraldine

Ranking: 19th Place (1st banishment)
Age: 29
Alignment: Faithful

  • Nervous Tics: Had one that led to her being banished early on.

    Bam

Bam

Ranking: 18th Place (2nd murder)
Age: 35
Alignment: Faithful

  • Sacrificial Lamb: Has a pretty notable presence in the first two episodes, only to get axed to throw the Faithful off their game.
  • Too Good for This Sinful Earth: Reality TV version. The Traitors kill him specifically because he's a Nice Guy who didn't antagonize anyone, who's actually good friends with one of them (Christian). Thus, his death is a total shock and leaves everyone wondering what the Traitors are thinking.

    Brandi

Brandi

Ranking: 17th Place (2nd banishment)
Age: 49
Alignment: Faithful

  • Entertainingly Wrong: Her reasons for thinking Michael is a Traitor are sound, but she's wrong about that one.
  • Fatal Flaw: Brandi was sharp, calling out the names of two out of three of the traitors by the second day. She was also one of the only Faithfuls to ever suspect Cirie. However, similarly to Kate, her headstrong nature and Ice Queen tendencies weren’t met well by the other Faithfuls. While Kate managed to barely avoid Banishment for most of the game, Brandi was voted out early on.
  • Graceful Loser: Averted. She is pissed about being wrongfully voted out.
Brandi: [from the hallway, a Beat after exiting] IDIOTS!

    Azra

Azra

Ranking: 16th Place (3rd murder)
Age: 35
Alignment: Faithful

  • Tempting Fate: She hopes her quiet and non-confrontational nature will let her slip by unnoticed for at least the first few rounds. She's promptly killed.

    Michael

Michael

Ranking: 15th Place (3rd banishment)
Age: 35
Alignment: Faithful

  • No Social Skills: By his own admission, and it gets him banished.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Michael was a painfully bad Faithful, tossing Blatant Lies to save himself and never suspecting or voting to banish any Traitors. Michael’s dishonest nature got him banished fairly early on. Lampshaded by Kate.
Kate: If he's not a Traitor, he's the worst Faithful ever!

    Ryan

Ryan

Ranking: 14th Place (4th murder)
Age: 37
Alignment: Faithful

  • Posthumous Character: Sort of. He didn't stand out much when he was alive, and was mostly Out of Focus. His biggest role in the game came from Cody telling a blatant lie about him after his murder, which led to the first Traitor banishment of the game.

    Amanda

Amanda

Ranking: 12th Place (left episode 5)
Age: 30
Alignment: Faithful

  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: Her departure was so abrupt that the cameras didn't even show her leaving. She was last seen at the roundtable in episode 5, then the show cut away to her portrait with Allan announcing that she'd left for "personal reasons". It was found out later that she had tested positive for COVID-19.

    Cody

Cody

Ranking: 11th Place (5th banishment)
Age: 32
Alignment: Traitor

  • Nice Guy: The deceitful front he had to take on as a traitor took a toll on his mental state.
  • What Were You Thinking?: He played a great Traitor, with little suspicion on him the entire game. Then, for no apparent reason, he told a complete fabricated lie about a murdered player, was immediately called out for it, and banished by the end of the following day.

    Shelbe

Shelbe

Ranking: 9th Place (6th banishment)
Age: 31
Alignment: Faithful

    Rachel

Rachel

Ranking: 8th Place (7th banishment)
Age: 37
Alignment: Faithful

  • Graceful Loser: Averted. When she realized she was about to face banishment, she scornfully laid into the other Faithfuls, going as far as to threaten their friendships outside of the game if they voted for her.

    Christian

Christian

Ranking: 6th Place (8th banishment)
Age: 28
Alignment: Traitor

  • Large Ham: Had a very extroverted, loud personality.

    Kate

Kate

Ranking: 5th place (9th banishment)
Age: 39
Alignment: Faithful

  • All of the Other Reindeer: Poor, poor Kate. As soon as her only friends are banished and murdered early on, it’s made clear that the other Faithfuls have little regard for her other than being a pest.
  • The Bus Came Back: Kate returns to Season 2 of the Traitors in Episode 5 as a secret contestant.
  • Death Seeker: About halfway through the season, she all but gives up, famously throwing barrels of money away during a challenge so that they’ll banish her and she can tell everyone that she’s a faithful. After it doesn’t work, she starts trying to win again.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: She Took a Level in Kindness in the later episodes.
  • Fatal Flaw: Her headstrong, Ice Queen tendencies drew the ire of her fellow Faithfuls more than a few times. She also tended to be rather tunnel-visioned, focusing all of her energy into getting a single Faithful banished but not looking elsewhere until it was too late.

    Arie

Arie

Ranking: 4th Place (Left episode ten)
Age: 40
Alignment: Traitor, originally Faithful

  • Graceful Loser: When Cirie betrayed him, instead of fighting her or ousting her as a fellow Traitor, he voluntarily left the game at the Fire of Truth.
  • Sixth Ranger: Used by Cirie as justification for betraying him, as he had not gone through the trials of being a Traitor since the very beginning.
  • Turncoat: He was originally well-liked and trusted as a Faithful, so this worked very much in his favor; he lasted until the very end, and only lost because of Cirie’s betrayal.

    Quentin

Quentin

Ranking: Runner-up
Age: 32
Alignment: Faithful

  • Too Dumb to Live: While he was always a decent performer on the challenges, Quentin absolutely failed time and time again when it came to deducing Traitors. He holds the dubious honor of having never voted a single Traitor for banishment, despite having lived all the way until the very end.

    Andie

Andie

Ranking: Runner-up
Age: 30
Alignment: Faithful

  • Fatal Flaw: As The Heart, Andie was good at reading the alignment of other players through the genuine emotional connections they forged throughout the game. However, this led to Cirie being a huge blind spot for them. The emotional connection they forged was completely genuine, but she was still a traitor.
  • The Heart: Andie was the emotional pulse of the Faithful, who was someone who even the traitors and Kate absolutely adored.
  • Nice Person: They were very kind-hearted, to the point where the Traitors didn’t even bother recruiting for them because they knew they would never accept.

    Cirie

Cirie

Ranking: Winner
Age: 51
Alignment: Traitor

  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: En route to her victory, she betrayed three other traitors.
  • Flawless Victory: She won after earning the complete and utter trust of the Faithfuls, manipulating the banishments to her desire, successfully backstabbing all of the other traitors in the process, and claiming the entirety of the $250,000 prize money for herself. Her name only came up as a suspected traitor a handful of times, and she was never once considered for banishment in any serious capacity.
